"And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay." Daniel 2:43

The famous dream of Nebuchadnezzar in Daniel Chapter 2 appears to lay out all of Gentile history until God ultimately intervenes and sets up His own kingdom.

The various metals which make up the image in the dream are well known to serious students of prophecy. Even our common expression, "feet of clay," comes to us from this classic passage.

But what is represented by the "miry clay" in this image? It seems to be strangely mixed-but not completely-with the iron in the dream. The term "miry clay" refers to clay made from dust, a Biblical idiom which suggests death.

Daniel interprets this for us  in verse 43:

"And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay."

Mingle themselves with the seed of men! One thing that many alien abductions have in common, is that the beings attempt to breed with the human or experiment with their reproductive organs. Satan’s tactic back in the days of Noah was to take over the world by physical brute force through interbreeding with humans, and creating a master race of giants. Also included in this interbreeding was the plan to corrupt the human genetic code, so that the Messiah couldn't be born. The plan almost worked.   Probably if it wasn't for the flood of Noah, the overwhelming population of giants would have taken over the Earth.  I know this all sounds too fantastic, but read Genesis chapter 6, and make your own conclusions.    This is a very bizarre chapter indeed!

     Now, Satan’s tactic of takeover has changed. He plots to deceive as many as he can. Genetic experiments are more covert than they were then; instead of creating giants, (which stand out), fallen angels are trying to become as human as possible, (to blend in). The more diluted the human seed is, the easier people are to possess, manipulate, and deceive - the more evil reins in the world, especially in positions of power.

"For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms."   Ephesians 6:12

"In which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience. "Ephesians 6:2

What can we do ? How can we protect ourselves ? How can we stop from being deceived ?

"Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.
Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places."             Ephesians 6:10-12
