"The Rapture Is So Close!" - By Matthew L. Rice -
http://www.raptureready.com/2017/06/24/the-rapture-is-so-close/ I am a Family Physician. Two or three years ago I had a delightful almost-100 year old WW2 veteran as my patient. Physically he was skin and bones but his mental status was untouched by time. His eyes would shine with joy! During one visit, in the context of our current world situation, he stated with great enthusiasm: "The rapture is so close! It is so close! And just imagine, after it happens, there will be nothing left but Democrats!" I laughed so loudly that my nurse next door almost hit the big red emergency button! I believe this brave patriot and brother in Christ was spot on. Please entertain a few conjectures with me! Our Lord stated: "...this generation will not pass away until all these things take place. Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away" (Mt. 24: 34-35 and Lk. 21:32-33 NASB). Both Matthew and Luke clarify which generation this is. It is the generation that sees the fig tree (Israel-and Luke adds: "and all the trees"-i.e. we Gentiles) put forth their leaves. It is the generation that finds itself at the end of the Braxton Hicks contractions, just as these prodromal (false labor) contractions transition into true labor cramps. Let's face it, wars, rumors of wars, famines, earthquakes, persecutions, false prophets, plagues and solar phenomena have occurred throughout the Church Age. These are what Jesus calls "the beginning of birth pangs" (Mt. 24:8). But Jesus stated there will be a "this generation"-a terminal generation, if you will. But how do we determine what identifies the terminal generation? As Norman Geisler once said: "A text taken out of its context is a pretext."[i][i] The context is that Jesus was speaking to Jews living in their homeland. If I might take the freedom to add my thoughts between His words: "This generation [of Jews in the land of Israel] will not pass away until all these things take place." It could not have been the AD 33 generation because "all these things" didn't take place then. So it must be the generation of Jews living in Israel that sees the signs of the end times (i.e "Summer"-Luke 21:30) occurring. Of all the end-times signs Jesus enumerates, the least obvious may be the most profound: The re-founding of the nation of Israel on May 14, 1948. If you were a Jew in Israel at the time of Messiah, being scattered to the four corners of the world would probably not have been foremost on your mind. But it happened, just as Jesus predicted it would, in AD 70 (Luke 19:43-44; 21:44). It seems to me that this singular event started the prophetic clock ticking toward midnight. In it, multiple "last days" prophecies began their fulfillment. "Who has heard such a thing? Who has seen such things? Can a land be born in one day? Can a nation be brought forth all at once?" (Isaiah 66:8). Yes, Israel May 14, 1948. "For I will take you from the nations, gather you from all the lands and bring you into your own land" (Ezekial 36:24). "The establishment of the modern state of Israel indicates this has initially begun"[ii][ii] So, if May 14, 1948 marks the beginning of the final generation, what exactly is the length of a generation? If we look to the Bible it gives us an interesting possibility. "As for the days of our life, they contain seventy years, or if due to strength, eighty years" (Psalm 90:10). The World Health Organization states that the average lifespan of an Israeli is 82.5 years[iii][iii], (80.6 years for a male and 84.3 years for a female). It appears that God has blessed the Jews with much strength! Now for some interesting math: Scripture teaches that Jesus will take his Church home before the seven year period of tribulation. Let's say the terminal Israeli generation has an 80 year shelf life. AD 1948 + 80 years = AD 2028. AD 2028 minus seven years (the tribulation). Is AD 2021. There is a danger in date-setting. Jesus was quite clear that no human knows the day or hour of His return for the church (Mark 13:32). He did, however, say that when we see the signs of His soon coming we can be sure that "summer is near" (Mt. 24:32). It would appear that we are on the verge of summer. This leads to another question: How much of a generation must be living before one can say that that generation had all passed away? Does it mean >50% must be living when He returns or can it mean that He could wait until there was just one person left living from the 1948 generation? It seems to me more likely to be the former than the latter. Which would mean that truly any day now the church could be called home! It does appear that we are "so close to the rapture!" to quote my WW2 friend above. How certain is it? Jesus said: "Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away" (Luke 21:33). In other words, the very ground you are standing on now and the air you are breathing is less dependable than Jesus' words. He will come just as He said He would. And it appears His coming is soon (Revelation 22:6)! Maranatha! Come Lord Jesus! Matthew L. Rice ricematt3@gmail.com [i][i] Personal notes taken at Dallas Theological Seminary between 1979-1983. An unnamed diplomatic source in Europe said Israel had asked him and other representatives from countries that have ties with Iran to convey the message that Jerusalem would not stand by while Tehran's proxy Hezbollah establishes underground factories to produce advanced rockets, Hebrew-language media reported. Such weapons have until now been smuggled through Syria but the Israeli Air Force strikes weapons convoys bound for Hezbollah. A senior Israeli official confirmed the claim and said Jerusalem has stressed to the international community that Iranian support for Hezbollah must become a priority when dealing with Iran. "The Lebanese government cannot address this issue and thus the address for dealing with it is found with other forces that have influence over the issue," the official said, according to Haaretz. On Friday, Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah warned that "hundreds of thousands of fighters" would assist Syria and Lebanon in a war with Israel. "The Israeli enemy should know that if it launches an attack on Syria or Lebanon, it's unknown whether the fighting will stay just between Lebanon and Israel, or Syria and Israel," Hassan Nasrallah said, adding that a future conflict would be "very costly for Israel." "I'm not saying countries would intervene directly - but it would open the door for hundreds of thousands of fighters from all around the Arab and Islamic world to participate in this fight - from Iraq, Yemen, Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan," he said. A day prior, Israel charged Hezbollah with violating United Nations Security Council resolutions by constructing a string of military observation points under the guise of installations belonging to an environmental NGO. "Hezbollah is using an environmental organization as a cover for activities along the border with Israel," Israel's military intelligence chief Maj. Gen. Hertzl Halevi said at the Herzliya Conference. IDF Chief of Staff Gadi Eizenkot told the same conference on Wednesday that Hezbollah remains Israel's primary nemesis. Israel's Ambassador to the UN Danny Danon told the UNSC that Hezbollah was engaged in a "dangerous provocation" and urged the council to demand that Lebanon dismantle the observation posts in adherence to UN Security Council Resolution 1701, passed at the end of the Second Lebanon War in August 2006. The UN on Friday denied the claims, with UNIFIL, the body's interim force in southern Lebanon, reporting that it "has not observed any unauthorized armed persons at the locations or found any basis to report a violation of Resolution 1701." On Sunday, Breitbart Jerusalem reported that former deputy defense minister Ephraim Sneh told the Herzliya conference that harming Lebanese infrastructure, as per the current IDF policy, is the wrong way to respond to Hezbollah rockets, since "Iran does not give a damn if Lebanon's infrastructure is destroyed." Why Iran and Israel may be on the verge of conflict - in Syria - By Benny Avni - http://nypost.com/2017/06/27/why-iran-and-israel-may-be-on-the-verge-of-conflict-in-syria/?utm_campaign=applenews&utm_medium=inline&utm_source=applenews Some Israelis like to go to the Golan, where from the safety of a ramp overlooking the valley below, they can watch - no binoculars needed - the most consequential regional event of the age: the Syrian civil war. This week, however, the Israel Defense Forces closed the area for visitors, letting in only the local farmers who worried about missing the cherry harvest. That's because for three days in a row, mortar shells flew across the border onto the Israeli-controlled side of the Golan, putting war gawkers at too much risk. Most likely, the shells overflew their real target: one of the sides in the increasingly heated battle in an area around Quneitra, a town divided between Israel and Syria. Various Sunni militias are entrenched in the area, and Syrian forces loyal to Bashar al-Assad are trying to clear them out. Control of the road between Quneitra and Dara to the south (where the uprising against Assad started six years ago) is key for the Syrian army - and even more so for its patrons in Tehran. By capturing this road, and the area east of Israel and north of Jordan, they can establish a land corridor from Iran, through Iraq, to Damascus and Syria's neighbor, Lebanon. Throw in Yemen, and Iran's dream of a "Shiite crescent" that would make it the Mideast's dominant force comes true. The Syria war is complex, involving many powers pulling in all directions. But Iran and its allied militias - Shiite Iraqis, foreigners from Afghanistan and elsewhere, Hezbollah, Assad's army - have emerged as a chief worry for policymakers in Riyadh, Amman and Jerusalem. True, Israel knows how to handle spillover from war on its border. IDF surgical strikes hit Syrian army targets over the past few days, which was enough to at least pause the cross-border seepage of fire into the Golan. The larger concern for Israeli policymakers here is that Iran and its allied militias, already in control of south Lebanon, are trying to cement a beachhead in Syria. And that's exactly what's happening. "Iran is attempting to use the civil war to establish air force and naval bases in Syria," Israel's Energy Minister Yuval Steinitz told Israel Radio this week. It's not just Syria. IDF intelligence chief Herzi Halevi said Iran is also building arms factories in Lebanon, a country now dominated by its local proxy, Hezbollah. The mullahs, he said, similarly use Yemeni proxies, the Houthis, to manufacture weapons in that strategically located country next door to Saudi Arabia. So where's America in all this? The Obama administration considered Iran an ally in the fight against ISIS. That, and the nuclear deal that filled the mullahs' coffers with cash, worried the Saudis so much that they quietly turned to Israel as an ally to confront Tehran. And not only Saudis. Ha'aretz reports Jordan and Israel have tightened intelligence cooperation in recent weeks to better address the growing Iranian threat on Syrian territory near both countries' borders. US forces are reportedly also operating there in growing numbers. Better yet, President Trump has made clear his predecessor's romance with Tehran was just a fling. The administration has been warning Iran to watch its step as it stomps around the Middle East. That may have been behind the seemingly-out-of-the-blue White House announcement Monday, confirmed by the Pentagon Tuesday, that it's detected signs Syria is preparing a new chemical attack. Trump officials warned Assad would pay a "heavy price" for using chemical weapons again. Yet, widely reported internal fights among administration bigwigs over America's involvement in the Syria war could hamstring the united anti-Iran front that Sunni allies are hoping for. Washington's bickering over Trump's alleged ties to Russia, an Iran ally, isn't helping either. According to a Fox News report, Trump is quietly organizing a regional conference, inviting Sunni allies and perhaps even Israel. If so, good - but administration officials will surely hear a lot about the need for America to take a clear stand against Iran's expansion. The region is on edge. A victory over ISIS seems close now, but if Iran emerges on top, a wider and more vicious war may ensue, with dire consequences for everyone, including America. For Israelis, meanwhile, such an outcome could be much scarier than what happened this week to a few Golan tourists that temporarily lost a front-row seat for watching the war below. US Strategy and Israel's Stake in Eastern Syria - By Jonathan Spyer - https://jonathanspyer.com/2017/06/24/us-strategy-and-israels-stake-in-eastern-syria/#psM2FOZRwYmxAgUC.99 The downing on June 18th of a Syrian Air Force SU-22 by a UA Navy F-18 Super Hornet over the skies of northern Syria sharply raises the stakes in the emergent stand-off in the country. This stand-off is no longer between local militias, nor between regional powers. Rather, through interlocking lines of support, it places the United States in direct opposition to Russia. The last move has almost certainly not yet been made. And while events in northeast Syria may seem a distance away, there is a direct Israeli interest in the outcome of the current contest. This latest move was a probably inevitable outcome of two sharply opposing outlooks currently in play in Syria. The US seeks to maintain a divide between the war against Islamic State in the east of the country and the civil war between Assad and the rebellion against him in the west of it. Washington sees itself as involved in the first conflict system, while remaining outside the second. Thus, US-supported Kurdish and Sunni Arab rebel forces are forbidden from attacking Assad's forces. The US statement following the downing of the SU-22 reflected this position. Pentagon Spokesman Cpt. Jeff Davis noted that the US does 'not seek conflict with any party in Syria other than ISIS, but we will not hesitate to defend ourselves or our partners if threatened.' From the point of view of the regime and its Russia and Iranian allies, by contrast, no such division exists. For them, the Syrian war is a single system, in which the 'legitimate government' (ie the Assad regime) is engaged in a fight against various illegitimate entities. The latter group includes ISIS, but also the Sunni Arab rebels and the Kurdish-dominated Syrian Democratic Forces, with whom the US is aligned. The recent Astana agreement for the creation of four 'de-escalation' areas has freed up the regime and allied forces to take a more active role in the war against ISIS further east. Regime forces are advancing along two axes - from Palmyra in the south, and from Aleppo province further north. The second axis is bringing the regime and its allies into direct and close proximity with the US-supported SDF. The incident this week took place, according to the US version, after regime forces attacked the SDF in the town of Jadin south of Tabqa. Further tactical clashes are probably inevitable as each side seeks to take control of areas abandoned by ISIS as it retreats. But these tactical matters are part of an emergent strategic reality. The defeat of the Islamic State as an entity controlling territory is clearly only a matter of time. The actions of the Assad regime (or more accurately the Iranian and Russian interests that dominate it) equally clearly reflect their determination to confront and defeat all other armed elements within Syria. The United States is currently backing certain non-governmental armed elements in Syria, for the stated purpose of defeating Islamic State. So the situation is leading the US inexorably toward a choice. At a certain point, perhaps after the final eclipse of IS, but also perhaps before it, Washington will need to decide if it wishes to abandon its allies to destruction at the hands of the regime, Iran, and Russia, or whether it wishes to help to defend the forces it has armed and trained. At this point, the US will need to decide its end objective in Syria. Is it a federalized, decentralized Syria, with the regime dominant in the west and US allies in the east? Is it the destruction of the Assad regime? The construction of safe zones and ongoing negotiation? Which is it to be? None of this is easy and all choices have a price. Failure to decide, and a tactical, localized response to immediate threats is also a kind of choice, of course. So far, this type of response has resulted in the pro-Iranian forces reaching the Iraqi border, north of al-Tanf, and cutting off the US-backed rebels in the area from the possibility of further progress northwards. As of now, on four occasions, US forces have responded to the regime coming too close. But this has the appearance of a piecemeal response. All sides await the discovery or emergence of US strategy in Syria. Why does all this matter for Israel? For the following reason: if the US and its allies are eclipsed in eastern Syria, the result will be the establishment of a contiguous land link from Iran, across Iraq and Syria and to Lebanon and the Israeli border. This in turn will transform the threat picture facing Israel in the event of a renewed war with Hezbollah. This is not only or mainly to do with the transfer of weapons systems to the Lebanese Shia jihadis. One must observe and study the style of war that Iran has conducted in Syria and Iraq over the last half decade to grasp this essential point. In both contexts, with no official Iranian declaration of war, a coalition of Teheran-aligned militias have acted in a coordinated fashion on behalf of Iranian allies and interests. This coalition of forces has played a crucial role in the survival of the Assad regime. In Iraq, a similar coalition of Iran-aligned forces played a crucial role in the fight against IS, and now constitutes the key instrument of power in that country. At no time have the pro-Iranian forces been constricted by nominal state borders or 'national' divisions. Lebanese Hezbollah personnel have played a vital role in Syria and have been present also in Iraq. Iraqi militiamen have been active in Syria. Afghan fighters were among the first to reach the Syria-Iraq border on June 9th. There is no reason for Israeli planners to assume that a future war with Hizballah would be immune from this pattern. To reiterate, it does not require a formal declaration of war from Iran. Proxies are mobilized and deployed under the stewardship of the IRGC, but with no direct or acknowledged involvement given or demanded from Iran at any stage. The loosely and ambiguously governed nature of these territories would serve as an advantage for the Iranian forces, perhaps providing the kind of diplomatic cover for them that the presence of the toothless Siniora government in Beirut did in 2006. Thus the tried and tested Iranian model of revolutionary warfare. The creation of a contiguous corridor all the way from Iran to Lebanon would make possible the prosecution of such a war at an appropriate time and opportunity for Tehran, against Israel. For this reason, the prevention of the emergence of this direct land route through eastern Syria is a direct Israeli national interest. Unfortunately, the tactical and piecemeal nature of the US response, and the apparent absence of a clearly formulated strategy to face the Iranian, Russian-supported advance may yet facilitate its creation. Perhaps a clear strategy will yet emerge. It is Trump's move. Nearing Midnight: Socialism Doesn't Work, But People Keep Trying It - Todd Strandberg - http://www.raptureready.com/category/nearing-midnight/ It has been repeatedly proven that socialism is the worst form of government that mankind has ever devised. The Soviet Union tried for decades to create the worker's paradise. It floundered because socialism thrives on the sins of greed, envy, and laziness. When you have the government handing you the fruit of other people's labor, there is no need for you to be a productive member of society. The last Soviet leader, Mikhail Gorbachev, realized the error of socialism when he made a trip to Florida. Gorbachev went into a supermarket and he was shocked by all the food available on the shelves. He was particularly amazed at the variety of puddings. In the USSR, people were generally forced to buy whatever limited items were available at the time. Even a nation with a wealth of resources can still be hampered by socialism. South Africa has been blessed with many mineral deposits. In 1975 it produced 75 percent of the world's annual production of gold. Today, it only produces about 7 percent of the world's gold. The problem is not that all the gold in South Africa has been mined; the U.S. Geological Survey estimated in that South Africa holds about 40 percent of the world's gold resources. With 90 percent of the world's platinum resources, South Africa has precious metal deposits that are worth nearly $3 trillion. The key reason for the steep decline in South Africa's gold production has been political. When blacks took over the white-dominated apartheid government, they viewed the wealthy white mining magnates as exploiters of poor black laborers. The Johannesburg government has placed so many taxes, ownership restrictions and wage controls on mines, that there have been very few new investments. It can take up to 10 years of development before a mine is ready to go into production. To justify the risk, a mining company needs strong assurances that its investment is not going to vanish overnight. There are elements in the ruling African National Congress that are calling for outright nationalization of mining firms Venezuela is another nation rich in resources, yet poor because of its socialist ideology. According to OPEC's 2015 figures, Venezuela has the most proven crude oil reserves in the world, with over 300 billion barrels. That puts it ahead of Saudi Arabia (266 billion barrels), Iran (158 billion barrels) and Iraq (142 billion barrels). The liberal media blame Venezuela's economic problems decline on the price of oil. The price slump cannot explain why the nation is in a total economic meltdown. The inflation rate, according to the IMF, will balloon to 720 percent this year. Food shortages have the people of Venezuela starving. Three out of four individuals surveyed reported an involuntary weight loss last year. Hospitals have completely broken down. The impoverishment of Venezuela is the result of its leftist government using the nation's oil industry as its own piggy bank. Immediately after the state kicked foreign oil firms out of the country, the production of oil began to decline going from 3.1 million barrels per day to 1.7 million barrels per day. The government was so eager to bribe the general population with cheap subsidies, it caused the nation's oil industry to implode from a lack of reinvestments. The lessons of South Africa and Venezuela are not reaching the ballot boxes in other countries. People are voting for candidates that promise the most financial handouts. Great Britain just had an election where the party of Jeremy Corbyn gained several seats. A couple of years ago, Corbyn was being pressured to resign because of anti-Semitism in the Labor party ranks. He has made a comeback by promising goodies to younger voters. Last week Corbyn made a bold proposal to seize the empty homes of the rich to house the survivors of the devastating fire at London's Grenfell Tower apartment complex. The insane Marxist comment was reported by the press with little criticism. Here in America, we are headed for a socialized medical system because no party wants to restore a true capitalist market that would drive down costs. Our leaders would rather avoid the short term pain and instead have the government (taxpayers) fund our ballooning medical expenses. Margaret Thatcher gave one of the most concise assessments of why socialism cannot work: "The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money." With tax rates near 70 percent for some people, the end of road must be very near. It is very likely that the Antichrist will be the king of socialists. He will have a global population worshipping at his feet because he will be handing out spoils like no other world leader. His first task may be to plunder all the bank accounts of all the missing Christians. "He shall enter peaceably, even into the richest places of the province; and he shall do what his fathers have not done, nor his forefathers: he shall disperse among them the plunder, spoil, and riches; and he shall devise his plans against the strongholds, but only for a time" (Daniel 11:24). Satan's Demonic Complex and Swamp - David Pepe - http://www.theignorantfishermen.com/2017/06/satans-demonic-complex-and-swamp.html The world - under the god of this world - is ALWAYS at war with and fatally excludes their ETERNAL Creator's RIGHTEOUS position of ETERNAL authority when exercising their temporal existence here in time. Oh that Adam's fallen race would see that their godless workings are for but a finite moment and have ETERNAL HORRIFIC consequences which follow them after their exit from this temporal world (Eccl. 12:13-14, Acts 17:24-31, Rom. 1:18-31, Rev. 20:11-15). In their unbelief they full right reject the ETERNAL Divine summons from on High and the Person and Work of the ETERNAL Son of Almighty God, who is the RIGHTEOUS propitiation and Savior for the world! When the world rejects the ETERNAL Light of Almighty God's ETERNAL RIGHTEOUS Person they willingly give themselves over and make themselves subject and shackled to the oppressive despotic tyranny of Lucifer and his world of gross darkness and unrighteousness (Matt. 16:23, John 8:44, Acts 10:38, 2 Cor. 4:2-4; 11:13-14, Eph. 2:1-2, 1 Peter 5:8-9, 1 John 3:8, Rev. 12:9). Today's world in the blindness and darkness of their minds seeks a false peace and harmony through lawless means and in their delusional pursuit they call demonic tyranny "freedom" and "liberty" (Isa. 5:20). Satan's demonic complex and swamp is ALL controlling and ALL consuming but the redeemed of Almighty God the RIGHTEOUS have been liberated from Satan's power and tyranny. The redeemed of the Lord are called to be burning lights in Satan's darkened demonic complex and swamp, ever pointing to the TRUE Light of the world; and their labors for the Light of the world are NEVER in vain, for they have ETERNAL reward, benefits and fruit which will follow them for ALL ETERNITY (Luke 6:22-23, 1 Cor. 2:9, Rev. 21; 22:1-5). The average American today - whether they be a Left-wing reprobate or a Conservative reprobate - REFUSES to see the world, the events at hand and the overall picture of why the world is the way it is from Almighty God's ETERNAL perspective (2 Cor. 4:3-4, Eph. 6:12, 1 John 2:16-17). These blinded individuals (Left or Right), posses an unbelieving, unregenerate and subjective world view which blinds them to the true ETERNAL REALITIES of time and ETERNITY. They are oblivious that they are nothing but wretched slaves of Satan and are subject to the highly organized Demonic Complex of heaven's fallen angelic host (2 Cor. 4:3-4, Eph. 2:1-2). Satan's demonic complex is driving this world's godless and lawless agenda today and is at war with DIVINE REALITY. The great spiritual war of the ages is Satan's temporal rebellious agenda of darkness against Almighty God's ETERNAL sovereignty of LIGHT and RIGHTEOUSNESS (Isa. 5:20, John 3:19-21, Acts 26:18, 2 Cor. 4:3-6, Eph 2:2). As fallen mankind partakes and places their necks under Satan's tyranny in unbelief, they become his subjects, slaves, tools and allies in Satan's War against the ETERNAL sovereignty of their Creator (Matt.25:41, Rom. 1:18-31, Rev. 13). The weight and validity of this truth will soon be revealed and realized to the fullest by this fallen world as they enter into the dreadful seven year period called, the Day of the Lord (Rev. 9, 11:3-13, 13). The Bible - Almighty God's Infallible Word - EXPOSES in greater depth the inner workings, not just of fallen corrupted mankind, but of the demonic "political" machine of heaven's lawless angelic intelligences and their fierce leader, the original radical, slanderer, blasphemer and character assassin - (aka. Lucifer). My friends, we are ALL subjected to a GREAT spiritual war raging today for the hearts, minds and souls of mankind and are at the very end of our times journey as a human race. My dear friends, ALL things are headed to that great Day and time called the "Day of the Lord" and the "Battle of Armageddon" (Rev. 6-19) and receive it or not, these things WILL BE. The world at present deep down in their hearts knows this to be true and that we are at mankind's final crossroads. Indeed Almighty God's Kingdom of Heaven is at hand! For it will ONLY be when godless mankind and their demonic masters of delusion are defeated at Christ's glorious return to earth - at the end of the seven period called the "Day of the Lord" - that Almighty God will establish His 1000 year reign and rule on this earth. It will be at this time that absolutely no darkness will dominate as in days past. But until then, we are still present in this Demonic Complex governing world (Eph. 2:2, 6:12). The Leftist Media Machine here in America is one example of Satan's demonic complex in motion to promote godlessness and promote lawlessness. The lawless media are nothing more then Lucifer's tools, minions and straw men to deceive, brainwash and bamboozle the countless millions of people who are unbelieving. Unknowingly they are being used to move Lucifer's agenda forward in this unbelieving world (Eph. 2:1-2). The carrot at the end stick of these godless media pawns is the delusional hope and pursuit of creating a global Utopian society. Left or Right, if both ideologies are unbelieving (John 3:36, Eph 2:2) they are both being deceived and used and are being swept away in their unregenerate state into ETERNAL damnation and ruin (Matt. 25:41, Rev. 20:11-15). My friend, think it through. There is more than meets the eye in the world of politics today. All that is about us today is heading to that final showdown between Lucifer and the LORD, call the "Day of the Lord" and billions are oblivious as they are being orchestrated to set its very stage by the god of this world (Eph. 2:2;6:12). Without faith in Almighty God and His Word, all is darkness. It is ONLY when we are made spiritually alive by receiving God's Savior, Jesus Christ into our hearts that we can see these realities as they truly are (John 3:3, 2 Cor. 5:17-21). You see, the REALITY is that "in the end of our little existence" All (you and me) will have to give a personal account to Almighty God for what we have done based on His ETERNAL spiritual absolutes of RIGHTEOUS PERFECTION and His moral absolutes here for time (Heb. 9:27, John 5:24, Rev. 20:11-15). Since Adam's fall no one is capable of living a perfect God honoring life as Almighty God demands (Rom. 3:23; 5:12-21; 6:23; 10:2-4). That is why Almighty God sent His Son. That is why He came to earth 2000 years ago, to live the perfect life for ALL and to be the PERFECT propitiation for our transgressions against the ETERNAL RIGHTEOUSNESS of Almighty God and to make us RIGHTEOUS (John 3:16-17, Rom. 10:2-4, Heb. 2:17, 1 Peter 3:18, 1 John 2:2), as God's Word so clearly states. . As this fallen world devours the spin, lies, creates false and subtle perceptions dished out by Lucifer's Demonic Complex remember that ONLY TRUE freedom, perception and liberty comes when one receives Almighty God's Son as their Savior (John 8:32,36, 1 John 5:10-13). We cannot dismiss or make relative these truths, for they are what they are. One must be brave enough to step out of themselves and receive them and claim them for their own. Almighty God's Word ALONE gives ETERNAL insight and exposes Lucifer's demonic complex, his grand designs and godless ambitions (Col. 2:15). May you place your trust in Christ ALONE in these ever confusing days of darkness. Almighty God's Word will be a light for you (Psalm 119:105, John 3:3). Remember my friends; The Kingdom of Heaven is TRULY at hand! Daily Jot: Clang Clang Clang CNN - Bill Wilson - www.dailyjot.com What's that noise we are hearing? It's the clanging of the CNN cymbals signaling the death of truth. Oh, we knew of it. Many of us have been saying for years that CNN is the propaganda arm of communism in America. But it's kind of like asking your kid, "Did you really do that?," knowing full well he did. The confirmation of it, however, is the emotional trigger. CNN's investigative team, now out of their jobs, lied to the American public using a single "unnamed" source that tied the insinuation of financial wrongdoing between members of President Donald Trump's team and Russia. It was not only a ruse, but a lie. A retraction made. An apology. But also a pulling back of the curtain of what's going on in the media. Let me tell you how this "unnamed" source business works. Many years ago when I was reporting for a worldwide newswire service, I shared a newsroom office with the Associated Press, Reuters, Washington Post, Knight Ridder and several other media. At the end of the day, the old-timers would sit around and grouse about the right wingers in the new Reagan Administration. They would tell stories, share information. As the youngster in the room, I just listened and read what they wrote. It didn't take long for me to figure out they were using each other as "unnamed" sources. So I decided to play a trick on them. I had really good inside sources in the Reagan White House. These guys knew it. So I floated a very specific possibility on a trade deal that was being negotiated. I gave the most outlandish information I could that was the opposite of what I knew was going to happen (according to my source, which was a cabinet member, it would happen the next day). These "journalists" were delighted. They could finally write something that would put the Reagan right wingers in a bad light. Next morning, the front page of the Washington Post top of the fold featured the false information I gave in an AP story and I was accurately quoted as an "unnamed source." My true story soon hit the wires and those reporters had tremendous egg on their face. They were angry with me, but I didn't much like them anyway. Hence, when you see that CNN had to retract a story that lied to the public about a possible impeachable offense and subsequently see stories where a CNN producer admitted the Russian story was baseless, you are looking at the very small tip of the mainstream media iceberg. The media has become the clanging cymbal heralding misinformation and radical left-wing agendas while truth falls on the edit room floors. It's been that way for decades, but it is worse because a coup was on the horizon and the media smelled victory. Jesus said in John 3:20, "For everyone that does evil hates the light, neither comes to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed." Clang, Clang, Clang are the sounds of the networks' propaganda machine. Your discernment is the light that exposes the truth. Don't be deceived by their vain words. Daily Devotion: What Story Is Your Life Telling? - By Greg Laurie - www.dailydevotion.com No one can live forever; all will die. No one can escape the power of the grave. -Psalm 89:48 The October 1992 cover of LIFE magazine posed this question: "Can We Stop Aging?" According to the article inside, scientists suggest that we can and will. But the article raised another question: Would we really want to stop aging? In other words, do we really want to live forever? Our answer depends on what kind of lives we are living. What story is your life telling? My story is a simple one: God can take a mess of a life with the deck stacked against it and redeem it. That is my story. We all have one to tell. And we all need to take stock of our lives and ask ourselves, "What is my life all about? What is the legacy I will leave? How will I be remembered?" This is important to think about as we're getting older. But it's also important to think about when we're young. In our youth, we chart the course that our lives will take. We develop habits, develop direction, and make decisions like the career path we will follow and the person we will marry. It's a critical time to make the right decisions, because when we get older, we become set in our ways. That is not a bad thing, necessarily. If we establish good habits like regular Bible study, prayer, and being a disciplined part of the church, we will follow those as well. It comes down to this: We will decide the evening of our life by the morning of it. We will decide the end by the beginning. The stand we make today will determine what stand we make tomorrow. Medical science can seek to add years to your life, but only God can add life to your years and give you a life that is worth living. FROM THE HEART

From this point on, we believers have to get serious. We are going to face discouragement, disillusionment and, most certainly, persecution in the time between now and the Rapture. But don't be discouraged or disillusioned. The coming turmoil will provide us unrivaled opportunities to share the good news of the Gospel.
