REVELATION - For the Last
Days: Complete verse by verse
commentary on the entire book of Revelation. Completely
updated and revised for the times in which we live. A great
guide for your personal bible studies and small bible study
groups, a great addition to your bible commentary library.
Many people say that they can’t understand the book of
Revelation but the Bible says in Jeremiah 33:3, “Call to
Me and I will answer you, and I will tell you great and
mighty things, which you do not know.” And also in
Isaiah 46:9-10 we read, "Remember the former things long
past, For I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and
there is no one like Me, Declaring the end from the
beginning, And from ancient times things which have not been
done, Saying, 'My purpose will be established, And I will
accomplish all My good pleasure'.” Not only can we
understand the book of Revelation but we can be assured that
what is written in it is true.
"Many have the idea the world will grow better and better
until the coming of the Millennium, and everybody will be
converted, and you hear that stuff preached, but the Bible
does not teach any such trash." - Last Days Quote from Billy
Sunday - From his 1913 sermon entitled "The Second Coming"
C. H. Spurgeon in 1869 wrote of the Last Days, "We foresee
from the word, despite its obscurity, that strange and
wonderful events will happen, such as are depicted by vials,
and warriors with avenging swords, and falling stars, and
shriveled sky, and a reeling earth, and I know not what
beside; but when we have put all together and have been sore
amazed at the visions that flit before us like visions in
the night, we rejoice to learn at the end of them all, "All
these things are ours, whatever they may be."
Have you ever tried to read the book of Revelation? A lot of
people start reading the bible and skip to the end to find
out what happens. If you don't know what you are reading,
this can be really scary. There are a lot of books and
commentaries written about the book of Revelation, many are
really good but most of them are outdated and rather boring.
Come on now, we are in the 21st century and I
think it’s time that we start thinking outside the box when
it comes to the book of Revelation, after all it’s probably
the greatest book ever written. Note I didn’t say think
outside the Bible, I believe the best commentary on the
Bible is the Bible itself. Revelation is the last of the 66
books that make up the Bible and it’s just like the Lord to
save the best for last.
You are about to embark on a journey through the final book
of the Bible, the Book of Revelation. You might want to
fasten your seatbelt because this journey is going to
literally rock your world. The journey begins nearly 2000
years ago on a small Greek island in the Aegean Sea and ends
in the not so distant future in a Paradise that makes our
wildest and dreams and imaginations pale by comparison.
Along the way you will meet some very interesting characters
and experience sights and wonders that will literally take
your breath away.
The Book of Revelation is filled with angels and demons,
huge six-winged creatures full of eyes, the infamous
Four-Horsemen of the Apocalypse, dragons, bowls, trumpets,
seals, two men who can breathe fire and stop the rain, all
kinds of signs and symbols, sights and sounds. How does it
all fit together, and what is it trying to tell me? Can we
understand the book of Revelation?
The answer is yes! Not only can we understand the book of
Revelation, but in doing so, we can receive a blessing from
the Lord. How many books do you know that can do that?
