"When men began to
increase in number on the earth and daughters were born to them,
the sons of God saw that the daughters of men were beautiful, and they married any of them
they chose. Then the LORD said, "My Spirit will not contend with man forever, for he
is mortal ; his days will be a hundred and twenty years." The Nephilim were on the
earth in those days--and also afterward--when the sons of God went to the daughters of men
and had children by them. They were the heroes of old, men of renown. The LORD saw how
great man's wickedness on the earth had become, and that every inclination of the thoughts
of his heart was only evil all the time. The LORD was grieved that he had made man on the
earth, and his heart was filled with pain. So the LORD said, "I will wipe mankind,
whom I have created, from the face of the earth--men and animals, and creatures that move
along the ground, and birds of the air--for I am grieved that I have made them."
Genesis 6:1-7
God looked and did not
like what he saw, God grieved ! His heart was filled with pain as he declared that he was
going destroy, wipeout, annihilate mankind, and the animal population of the earth. He saw
the wickedness of mankind and except for Noah and his family all would be exterminated. So
the countdown began, God gave creation 120 years of warning!

So what was really going
on? What were the days of Noah really like? What was life like before the flood?
A couple of days before
Jesus was crucified, his disciples asked him "Tell us," they said, "when
will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the
age?" They wanted to know, when Jesus would return and what would be the signs before
his return? Jesus replied:
..."As it was in the
days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.
For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in
marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; and they knew nothing about what would
happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming
of the Son of Man. Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. Two
women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left.
"Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come."
Matthew 24:37-42
So clearly, Jesus gives us
a prerequisite to understanding the time of his Second Coming, the understanding of
the Days of Noah. Genesis, chapter 6 unfolds the story of the Flood. It's more than just a
historical account, there is, upon close examination of the scripture, some rather
disturbing implications. We have fallen angels having relations with earthly women,
producing huge, demonic, Super-Beings !
