As a major war with Hezbollah in Lebanon looms and Iran is vowing to directly strike the Jewish State once again, we should all be in prayer for Israel. In my last article, I discussed the 12 children who were killed by a Hezbollah-launched, Iranian-made Falaq 1 rocket that was fired on a Druze community in Majdal Shams in the Golan Heights. As a result, it was looking like Israel was going to respond heavily; countries around the world began to urge their citizens to leave Lebanon, and Israel was bracing itself for an all-out war. Well, Israel did respond to the 12 children being killed by carrying out an airstrike in Beirut to take out Fuad Shukr, the top Hezbollah Senior Commander and a key military adviser to Hezbollah’s leader Hassan Nasrallah. Hezbollah, of course, is vowing revenge. Then, adding to Iran’s demonic hate for Israel, Hamas’ political leader Ismail Haniyeh was assassinated in Tehran by an explosive device that had been hidden in the house where he was staying. Israel never claimed responsibility for that attack, but Iran is blaming Israel and vowing a response worse than what they carried out on Israel back in April. That’s where we are today as Israel prepares for attacks from Hezbollah and from the head of the snake, Iran. There have even been rumors that Israel may carry out preemptive strikes on Iran and Lebanon, but so far, that has not happened at the time of this report. One thing I do know for sure is that we need to be praying for Israel as Psalm 122:6 commands us: “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.” It’s not an option, friends; it’s a command. When there is peace in Jerusalem, there is peace in Israel. When there’s peace in Israel, there’s peace amongst the Jewish people around the world. As I’ve said many times before, if you want to bring prosperity to your country, we must stand with, support, and pray for Israel. Psalm 122:6 is ultimately a prayer for Israel’s Messiah, Yeshua, to return. Without the Prince of Peace there will be no lasting peace. Even though that’s the ultimate answer to the Psalm, we still need to be interceding on Israel’s behalf today as she is surrounded by enemies trying to wipe her off the face of the map. While Bible prophecy assures us that Israel is on the winning side, an all-out war with Iran’s proxies, whose greatest desire is to eradicate the Jewish people, could bring a heavy price for Israel with many civilian casualties. Remember, Hezbollah has 150,000 to 200,000 rockets aimed at Israel, and a lot of them have precision-guided systems—not to mention Iran’s proxies in Yemen, with the Houthis, and others in Iraq and Syria. Therefore, let us commit to pray for Israel and the Jewish people that the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob will foil the plans of Israel’s enemies who are vowing to wipe out God’s chosen people. Let’s pray that God will have his protective hand on His chosen people as He has promised in His Word. Let’s pray fervently for Israel and the Jewish people! Will you join me, friends, in prayer? Father, we come before You. Lord, prayer isn’t just for this week; prayer for Israel is ongoing because Satan hates the Jewish people, he hates Israel, and he hates everything that You love. Because of that, we have the problems we do in this world—he’s the prince of the power of the air working in the sons of disobedience. Lord, we want to commit Israel to prayer this day. I want to pray, Father, for Israel’s leaders to be wise to the schemes of their enemies. Father, you know the plans that Israel’s enemies are trying to carry out, the plans that they’re making in secret to wipe Your Chosen People off the face of the map. We know Israel’s on the winning side, Father. We know what Your Word says that as long as the sun, moon, and stars are shining in the sky, Israel will not cease from being a nation before You forever. Amen. Thank you, Father, for those promises. But, Father, we do know that Israel’s enemies, inspired by Satan’s demonic hatred for Your Chosen People, are planning around the clock, and I pray, Lord, that you would foil their plans. That their plans, by Your Hand, would not come to pass and that you would give Israel’s leaders wise counsel. We pray, Lord, that you would help them work together as a team in Israel and put their political differences aside for the good of the people to combat what Israel’s enemies are trying to do. If a preemptive strike, Lord, is what’s required, give precision to Israel’s weapons. I pray, Lord, for the IDF, Israel’s leaders, and Generals. I pray for Benjamin Netanyahu. May he be wise, Lord, to the schemes of those that wish them dead. We pray for the Jewish people, not only in Israel, but around the world as anti-Semitism is on the rise, even in our country. I pray, Lord, that Christians would come alongside the Jewish people, stand with love, and support them. I pray for our media to be fair and report things honestly. Lord, we think of the war that’s going on in Gaza. We think of how Israel is close to destroying the terrorist organization Hamas. There’s not much left of them and their infrastructure. I pray that Israel will be able to eliminate each one of those Hamas leaders that remain. Lord, ultimately we’re praying for people to come to You, to turn to You. I also pray for the hostages, Lord, that they would be released or that Israel’s Defense Forces would be able to rescue them. We think of the remaining hostages and the horrific things they’ve experienced since this war started, and we pray for the IDF to be able to carry out what needs to be done to finish off Hamas and bring those hostages home. Ultimately, through all this, Lord, I pray people would turn to you. Turn to the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob—the only God and that they would come to know Your Son, Jesus. I pray that this world would turn to Him because, without the Prince of Peace, there will be no lasting peace. He is the only hope for Israel, the Jewish people, and Gentiles all around the world. Only He can change hearts. Our prayer, Lord, is that people would turn to You to be saved and that You, Father, alone would be exalted as the only God in this universe—the only God that can bring hope to people. Father be with Your People, Israel! Help us, Lord, to love them, stand with them, and support them. We come to You that through all these prayers, one day, the Messiah would return and clean up the mess that this world has made. For that, we say, even so, come Lord Jesus. Thank you, Father, for hearing our prayers. We pray this in the wonderful name of the Messiah, Jesus. Amen. Thank you for joining me in prayer. We actually had quite a few months without an official “global health emergency” to be concerned about, but now that streak is over. On Wednesday, the World Health Organization announced that Monkeypox has officially been classified as a “public health emergency of international concern”. Health officials have lost control of the new mutant strain that is spreading in Africa, and so that is why this move was made. Compared to the strain that caused so much chaos in 2022, this new strain has a much higher death rate and we are being told that in many cases it is spreading without any sexual contact at all. If this thing gets loose in the United States and Europe, the level of fear that we will witness will be off the charts. For now, the only confirmed cases of this new mutant strain of Monkeypox are all in central Africa. But it is probably only a matter of time before it spreads to more areas. The head of the committee that determined that a “public health emergency of international concern” was warranted says that this new strain is an emergency “for the entire globe”… Committee Chair Professor Dimie Ogoina said, “The current upsurge of mpox in parts of Africa, along with the spread of a new sexually transmissible strain of the monkeypox virus, is an emergency, not only for Africa, but for the entire globe. Mpox, originating in Africa, was neglected there, and later caused a global outbreak in 2022. It is time to act decisively to prevent history from repeating itself.” Originally, all of the confirmed cases of the “clade 1b” strain were limited to the Democratic Republic of the Congo. But now more than 100 cases have been confirmed in the neighboring countries of Burundi, Kenya, Rwanda and Uganda… In the past month, over 100 laboratory-confirmed cases of clade 1b have been reported in four countries neighboring the DRC that have not reported mpox before: Burundi, Kenya, Rwanda and Uganda. Experts believe the true number of cases to be higher as a large proportion of clinically compatible cases have not been tested. The strategy of containment has officially failed. At this point, WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus is openly admitting that “the potential for further spread within Africa and beyond is very worrying”… “The detection and rapid spread of a new clade of mpox in eastern DRC, its detection in neighboring countries that had not previously reported mpox, and the potential for further spread within Africa and beyond is very worrying,” Tedros said during the briefing. So what do we know about this new strain? Well, first of all we are being told that it has a much higher death rate… The strain of mpox spreading now (clade I) is more serious than the type we saw two years ago (clade II), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention explains. Clade I spreads more easily and could kill up to 10% of people who contract it. On the other hand, more than 99% of people who caught the clade II version in 2022 survived. Secondly, it appears that it is much easier to spread than the strain that quickly circulated all over the planet in 2022… During the global outbreak of mpox in 2022, gay and bisexual men made up the vast majority of cases and the virus was mostly spread through close contact, including sex. But with this outbreak in Congo, a majority of cases and deaths are in children. The reasons for the difference aren’t entirely clear. It could be because kids are more susceptible, said Dr. Boghuma Titanji, an infectious diseases expert at Emory University. Social factors, like overcrowding and exposure to parents who caught the disease, could also be at play. Already, I am seeing so many people on the Internet spreading false information about this new strain. Yes, this new strain can spread via sexual contact. But it is being reported that it can also spread without any sexual contact at all… It began spreading through sexual transmission, via the local sex work industry, according to the researchers. However, they said the new virus has also spread within households, between mothers and their children, and there have even been cases of person-to-person spread outside households and without sexual contact. That’s “incredibly worrying,” Lang said. That’s because it has more opportunities to spread than previous strains did. If what we are being told is true, this could be really bad. Previously, as long as people avoided certain types of sexual activity, they could feel safe. But now that is apparently no longer the case. According to one expert, this new strain is “undoubtedly the most dangerous of all the known strains”… The new virus is “undoubtedly the most dangerous of all the known strains of mpox,” John Claude Udahemuka, a lecturer at the University of Rwanda, said in a press briefing on June 25. He said the virus has caused miscarriages and blindness. Ultimately, I don’t know if Monkeypox will become a major global problem in the months ahead of not. But if it doesn’t take off, the WHO has identified a whole bunch of other diseases that could spark the next great global pandemic. Unfortunately, people are hard-headed. We believe we are special or different than the people who came before us. Thus, we are doomed to make the same mistakes as our forefathers. Scripture contains many lessons we should learn. “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.” 2 Timothy 3:16. Too many Christians think the Old Testament is “boring” or it doesn’t pertain to today. In fact, it’s the foundation of the New Testament. Many Christians race through reading Scripture to finish in a year in order to get a certificate. The problem is there’s no study. For instance, what about Jonah? Is it more than a story about a man eaten by a fish? It’s much more. Let’s take a look. Jonah tried to run away from God. I often wonder why God chose him to carry such an important message of repentance to a wicked Gentile city. Jonah gives us many lessons, and one is that if God chooses you for a task, don’t run away. God told Jonah “Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry against it; for their wickedness is come up before me.” Jonah 1:2. Nineveh was the capital city of Assyria and their wickedness was legendary. When they conquered a nation, they made sure people suffered greatly. They worshipped pagan gods, so there was no moral integrity. Jonah’s reaction to God’s call was understandable. “But Jonah rose up to flee unto Tarshish from the presence of the LORD, and went down to Joppa, and he found a ship going to Tarshish: so he paid the fare thereof, and went down into it, to go with them unto Tarshish from the presence of the LORD.” Jonah 1:3. There’s always a price to pay when we rebel against God, and Jonah’s price would be much more than just the price of passage on a boat. A mighty storm came up, and the pagan crew of the ship prayed to their pagan gods to no avail. Where was Jonah? He was sleeping. Here’s a lesson for Christians. We all have a calling from God, but many of us are asleep. We are to spread the Gospel but we sleep while the storm of wickedness rages. When all seemed lost, the captain found Jonah and said “…What meanest thou, O sleeper? Arise and call upon thy God, if so be that God will think upon us, that we perish not.” Jonah 1:6b. The captain didn’t believe in the one, true God, but as they say “Any port in a storm”. It’s a shame that Jonah didn’t openly pray to God and obey His instructions. What a witness that would have been. Wake up, Christians. The sailors drew lots and determined that Jonah was to blame. It was Jonah’s rebellious attitude towards God having mercy upon a merciless pagan nation. He answered their questions saying “And he said unto them, I am an Hebrew; and I fear the LORD, the God of heaven, which hath made the sea and the dry land.” Jonah 1:9. Finally, Jonah was being truthful. The sailors couldn’t believe he had tried to run from God and wanted to know what they could do to stop the tempest. Jonah told them to throw him into the sea. Well, the sailors had some integrity and didn’t want that to happen, but an amazing thing happened to these pagan sailors. They cried out to God. “Wherefore they cried unto the LORD, and said, ‘We beseech thee, O LORD, we beseech thee, let us not perish for this man’s life, and lay not upon us innocent blood: for thou, O LORD, hast done as it pleased thee.” Jonah 1:14. One person speaking up for God can bring others to belief. The sailors threw Jonah overboard, and the storm stopped. The sailors were afraid, but they offered a sacrifice to the LORD. The story could end there with Jonah paying the price of his sin while the sailors rejoiced in their new-found faith and the calming of the tempest, but God still wanted Jonah to go to Nineveh. So, the LORD, prepared a great fish to swallow Jonah “…And Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights.” Jonah 1:17b. This strengthened Jonah’s faith, but he still didn’t want to go to Niveveh. “Then Jonah prayed unto the LORD his God out of the fish’s belly, and said, I cried by reason of mine affliction unto the LORD, and he heard me, out of the belly of hell cried I, and thou heardest my voice.” Jonah 2:1-2. My fellow Americans, is that where we are? Are we in the belly of hell? The United States is in dire straits. Like Jonah, Christians have a message to deliver, but it looks as if we are running away from God. We’re surrounded by pagan worship. Maybe people don’t openly worship pagan gods, but they don’t worship the one true God, so by default, demons are worshipped. America was founded upon Biblical principles. The men who founded this nation weren’t perfect, but they understood basic God-ordained rights. The Declaration of Independence contains some words to pay attention to. “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness.” Yes, our Creator has endowed us with rights, but America seems to be under siege by wickedness and evil. The leaders of this nation have little or no knowledge of God, and care little for the individual people. The Republic of the United States, has become a tyrannical dynasty, led by people who encourage the pagan gods of evil that have brought destruction to many nations. Abortion is nothing less than sacrificing children to the demon god, Molech. The arms of this idol were heated and babies were sacrificed by putting their little bodies in his arms. God told the Israelites “And thou shalt not let any of thy seed pass through the fire to Molech, neither shall thou profane the name of thy God: I am the LORD.” Leviticus 18:21. Today, abortion kills babies in a mother’s womb. As the tiny body is brutalized, the cries cannot be heard. “Again, thou shalt say to the children of Israel, ‘Whosoever he be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn in Israel that giveth any of his seed unto Molech; he shall surely be put to death: the people of the land shall stone him with stones.” Leviticus 20:2. This is addressed to Israel, but Christians claim to belong to God and we need to honor Him. The leaders of our nation have legalized many abominations that are offensive to God. Creation of the world is credited to chance and happenstance (evolution) and not to God. “In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth.” Genesis 1:1. Our leaders mock God by allowing evolutionary lies to be taught to our children. “And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.” Romans 1:23. There are consequences to disobeying God. Jonah spent time in the belly of a great fish, but the consequences to denying God as the Creator brings the abomination of homosexuality. “Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.” Romans 1:24-25. Mocking God is never good. “For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use unto what is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another: men with men working that which is unseemly and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.” Romans 1:26-27. Wake up, Christians. We must not allow God to be mocked. The mocking was very evident during the opening ceremony of this year’s Olympics. Are we like Jonah? Are we sleeping while the demonic wickedness in world rages? Do we approve of the evil by keeping silent? If you don’t participate in the evil but watch with pleasure and accept it, God isn’t pleased. “Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such thigs are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.” Romans 1:32. Americans have a vote and the last 4 years have been miserable. Before that we had the wickedness of Ahab and Jezabel (the Clintons) and the Obama years. None of these people deserve our vote. We will not survive an administration of Harris. Christians, we must take a stand. Jonah could have avoided much trouble if he had obeyed God and gone to preach to Ninevah. He finally remembered God and prayed. “They that observe lying vanities forsake their own mercy.” Jonah 2:8. The New King James translation makes the meaning clearer “Those who regard worthless idols Forsake their own Mercy.” Jonah 2:8 (NKJ). When you find yourself in the belly of a great fish, you realize you need to repent. Jonah did, and so must Christians today. We need to start making our voices heard in our government, whether in America or in other nations. Repent and turn from wickedness. “And the LORD spake unto the fish, and it vomited out Jonah upon the dry land.” Jonah 2:10. Jonah must have been a mess and smelly. Sin and rebellion are always messy. Jonah’s mission wasn’t over. “And the word of the LORD came unto Jonah the second time saying, Arise, go unto Nineveh, that great city, and preach unto it the preaching that I bid thee.” Jonah 3:1-2. Jonah did go to Nineveh but wasn’t happy about it. Christian’s have been forgiven of our sins and now, we too, must go and joyously preach the Gospel to a fallen world. Nineveh was a very large city. The wickedness and evil found there was unspeakable. What would you do if God called you to preach repentance to San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York City, or Washington D.C.? Would you willingly preach, or would you run the other way? Would you like for God’s wrath to be poured upon the wicked, or would you want them to understand His love and mercy? Jonah was blunt as he delivered the message? And Jonah began to enter into the city a day’s journey, and he cried, and said, ‘Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown.” Jonah 3:4. Really? Jonah had received God’s mercy from being in the belly of a great fish, but Jonah could only say you have 40 days and then it’s over. Jesus Christ gave His life for us. If you’ve repented and received His forgiveness for your sin, then preach the truth with joy and gladness! It seems as if Jonah didn’t really want those in Nineveh to find God’s grace. They showed him! “So the people of Nineveh believed God, and proclaimed a fast, and put on sackcloth, from the greatest of them even to the least of them. For word came unto the king of Nineveh, and he arose from his throne, and he laid his robe from him and covered him with sackcloth, and sat in ashes.” Jonah 3:5-6. Can you imagine how great a nation could be if even the leaders repented and embraced God? The king decreed that everybody fast and cover themselves in sackcloth, including the animals. “Who can tell if God will turn and repent, and turn away from his fierce anger, that we perish not?” Jonah 3:9. Scripture tells us that God is willing to forgive all sin, but there has to be true repentance. “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways: then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14. Christians, we are called by God’s name. It’s time for us to humble ourselves and pray, seek God’s face instead of following the ways of sin, repent and turn from our wicked ways. Why should God bless us when we mock Him? What if there was true repentance in France, or Great Britain, Canada, or the United States? Would we put off judgment? What if Hollywood and the entertainment industry stopped putting out movies and music that glorify sin? Could it happen? If Nineveh could repent, even America can. “And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them, and he did it not.” Jonah 3:10. Jonah wasn’t at all pleased. He wanted Nineveh to be destroyed. “But it displeased Jonah exceedingly, and he was very angry.” Jonah 4:1. He told God that this is why he tried to flee to Tarshish. He didn’t want Nineveh to be spared from God’s wrath. Is this why we don’t share God’s truth with people? Are we afraid our worse enemy will repent and find God’s mercy and grace? There’s more to the story of Nineveh. It’s easy to return to wickedness and evil. That happened in Nineveh. About 140 years after their revival, they fell back into their evil ways. When you know a repentant sinner, do you disciple them and help them live for Christ? Have you taught your children and grandchildren to love God? If you haven’t, then there’s a good chance they will return to the evil of the world. Public school is no place for a Christian child. They will be educated into the ways of the world and embrace the sin found there. Social media needs to be monitored by parents. The Ninevites reverted to their evil ways, and it can happen today. The return to their old ways can be seen in 2 Kings and Isaiah, as Nineveh again came against Israel. God is slow to anger, but this should never be seen as acceptance of sin. He sent Jonah to witness to them, but we read in Nahum that God finally had enough of their wickedness. “The LORD is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: the LORD hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.” Nahum 1:3. Is America about to see God’s anger? Remember that there is always forgiveness through Jesus Christ. True repentance will bring true salvation. We cannot hold onto our wicked ways and expect God to acquit us. We cannot continue to turn against Israel and expect God’s blessing. America, remember Nineveh and turn from wickedness. We must ove the Lord our God with all that’s in us and serve Him alone. Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 1 Cor 15:50-53 Greetings my brothers and sisters. I want to take a moment to thank our brother Pete for this opportunity to share some prophetic thoughts periodically with you on his wonderful forum. Hopefully, as the Lord sees fit, I will be able to write some thought-provoking items here pertaining to these last days in which we live. I find myself intrigued by Solomon’s words in Ecclesiastes 1:8-9 and they normally form the basis of my study of both history and Scripture. Solomon in his wisdom made it clear that history does indeed repeat itself. 8 All things are wearisome, more than one can say. The eye never has enough of seeing, nor the ear its fill of hearing. 9 What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun. With this passage always somewhere in my mind, I like to use it in my approach to the study of history and understanding the ways God works through His written word sovereignly through time. God uses parallel situations, Foreshadowing and typology regularly to show us how things were, and how they will be again. With that in mind, I have long been inquisitive about Jesus' words in Matthew 24. 37 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, 39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. And … Jesus' words in Luke 17. 26 And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. 27 They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. 28 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; 29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. 30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed. What exactly was our Lord telling us in these passages that we can glean from and use to recognize clear signs in our present day? On the surface, these things seem routine or even mundane. Just business as usual things. Everyone since the beginning of time has gotten married, planted a garden, or built a house. Is Jesus just telling us there will be nothing special happening when He is about to break into time and take His people away before the wrath of the Tribulation commences? Perhaps! But I think careful analysis tells us more. Much more about His intent! I read some articles by Terry James a number of years ago where Terry speculated that a clue in the passages is that “.. they bought and sold, they planted and builded.” From this Terry surmised that the rapture may come at a time of prosperity. A time when we were all busy enjoying wealth and abundance and not yet at a time when the world’s economies were collapsing. Because of this angle, Terry believed the economic boom that America experienced during Donald Trump’s presidency may be the type of wealth Jesus was referring to in relating it to Lot’s time. Since the days of Trump’s first term, however, we have seen a downturn in economic success. The direction of the global economies seems to be headed more toward the conditions described in Revelation 6 with the third rider on the black horse than a great economic windfall. Inflation is rampant and the middle class is suffering greatly. But … I do believe Terry was onto something with his observation. I believe this because of the globalist’s determination to carry through with their “Great Reset”! We have all heard the sound bites of WEF leaders claiming that by 2030, we will all own nothing and be happy about it. We also know that global environmentalists and even leftist governors of some states are pushing for legislation to outlaw growing gardens and small farming because they claim it is destroying the ecology. So much is being done to push this “Great Reset” and the “Sustainable Development Goals” on the nations of the world whether the citizens like it or not. But… since Jesus told us that there would still be buying and selling and planting and building going on when He returns for His Bride, we can be assured that the globalist’s goals will not be implemented (at least not fully) before Jesus raptures us! That portion of those scriptures was meant to reassure believers that there would be some normalcy still left upon Jesus' return in spite of what the ambitions of the elites are for the world. But I still longed to gain a deeper understanding of the days of Noah and Lot and how our generation is so similar. So I prayed for the Lord to give me greater wisdom in these prophetic passages and then made a list of similarities.
Maybe the one thing we haven’t thought about is that the two previous judgments featured a man God was working through to warn the believers about the danger that was coming. Noah preached for 100 years and got the boat ready to save the remnant from judgment. Lot led his family out of Sodom because he believed God that judgment was coming and because of his faith, the wrath was not poured out until the evacuation was complete. The name Noah means “Rest “. God gives His people rest during the outpouring of judgment. Noah’s family was tucked away in the ark, sealed in safety as the rest of the world perished. The name Lot means “Hidden”. God's people are Hidden during His judgment against the world. Lot and his daughters were hidden from the fire and Brimstone that pounded down on Sodom and Gomorrah. Hmmm? So this got me thinking …Who is the leader today preparing the world for their evacuation? Who is pointing to the danger just around the corner? While numerous watchers are warning us, the Church as a whole is failing in the pulpits to warn the world. When God’s people fail to do their duty, God is not hesitant to raise up someone else to send His warning. And it doesn’t necessarily have to be a Godly man He uses. (Remember Nebuchadnezzar and Darius) With the world in severe danger now, and those in powerful positions mostly proclaiming false dangers are the problem, (like using cash or flatulent cows or plastic straws or UFOs) who is a TRUE world leader that is preparing us for the evil to come like Noah and Lot did? Maybe the name TRUMP is our clue. Like him or not, it is Donald Trump who has warned us about the swamp and the global cabal and that they are coming for the believers and conservatives. He has been sounding the alarm since before his first term in office. And it is he who has become violently hated for sounding that alarm because before he came to the forefront those he has exposed remained mostly hidden and behind the scenes. But now as they encircle humanity in their globalist trap we can see them for who they are because he has been proclaiming their ambitions for nearly a decade. Now don’t get me wrong, I realize Donald Trump is a flawed human being just as the rest of us are. There are certainly more Godly men walking the planet and our Heavenly Father is sovereign to use whoever He chooses to proclaim His warnings so yes He could have decided to use someone with a life pattern more faithful to Him than Trump. But .. that was also the case when He chose Nebuchadnezzar to invade and decimate Judah in 607 BC. Surely if God was going to punish His chosen people for insubordination and blasphemous idol worship He would raise a nation more righteous than Israel and Judah to discipline them, right? Well No He didn’t. He chose one of the wickedest tyrants in the world to punish His people. And I believe during the process, He saved Nebuchadnezzar spiritually (read Daniel 4). So using a man like Trump is not at all unlike our God to do when He feels it is necessary. As John MacArthur is fond of saying “ God uses sinful people to do His will. He has no one else to use!” This of course is because we are all sinners! So this brings me to my final thought. Ever since it was announced that Donald Trump would run for President nine years ago the name Trump resonated with me because of my familiarity with 1 Corinthians 15:52. Although the word “trumpet” is used many times throughout the Bible, the word “Trump” appears only in the 1 Corinthian passage in reference to the rapture. Here is what “Got Questions “ says about the word Trump : “Throughout Scripture, trumpets were used as signals to gather people, to set armies on the move, and as part of the worship of God. The trumpet that summons the church is called “the trump of God…” The irony of having a world leader with the name “Trump”, exposing the coming beast builders, at the exact point in history when all the prophetic signs of Jesus’ return are seemingly appearing exponentially is nothing short of astounding. And the great wonder of this is not due to the greatness of the man, but because of the greatness of God who foretold the name of His final Herald. Think about this. The world is denying that the rapture is approaching and that Jesus’ second coming will happen. Even a majority of the Church now shuns any mention of an imminent rapture. We are living in the days Peter spoke of when He said : Above all, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires. They will say, “Where is this ‘coming’ he promised? Ever since our ancestors died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation.” 2 Peter 3:3-4 But regardless of the doubters, the rapture, the judgment, and the second coming are still approaching right on schedule. Nothing will stop them including the “Great Reset” or “Agenda 2030” or any other plans for the coming Beast system. Likewise, no matter how much Donald Trump has been attacked over the last nine years, nothing has been able to stop him from exposing the global cabal and swamp’s intentions!
Through it all he is still standing, still sounding the alarm and still being protected by God for whatever his calling is in these final moments of the age. Again this a not for Donald Trump’s glory. This is all part of God’s glory that He alone sovereignly sets up who He wants in positions of power. He alone strips kings of their power and replaces them with whoever He chooses. And He alone can name a man for the role he is to play in the unfolding of God’s divine plan. I find it all the more interesting that if Trump should be somehow elected this November it would be His “ last term “ and not a continuation of his first presidency. Even in that way, God would have used the phrase “last Trump” to give us a clue that the rapture is at the door. None of us know for sure how this will play out but it seems like more than a coincidence that God is using a man named “Trump” at this late hour! Noah was the man to bring “Rest” to the few who would get in the ark and trust God for deliverance. Lot was the man to be “ Hidden” away with his family when Sodom and Gomorrah burned. Perhaps “Trump” is the final warning that God is about to bring forth the great judgment and gather His church away in the twinkling of an eye. And we will Get our REST and we will Be HIDDEN from the judgment because we will Be taken at the last TRUMP! Is this all just a coincidence? Perhaps! But we serve a God of preciseness and not one of random chance. Since He sets up and takes down kings I believe He brought forth a man named “Trump” for just such a time as this! He changes times and seasons; He deposes kings and raises up others. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning. The news media continues to propagate lies about the presidential candidates by attacking one and embellishing the other. The stock market is teetering on a meltdown. US debt is over $35 Trillion. Romans 11:29 says that “the gifts and calling of God are unchangeable.” So when people are saying that you have to find your calling, it is really understanding that you are called “not according to our works, but according to his own purpose (2 Timothy 1:9).” Christ is our example. He is the way the truth and the life. He showed us how to engage according to his purpose. It takes courage to conduct Christ’s purpose in this world, in this country today. Psalm 31:24 says, “Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all you that hope in the LORD.” As Christians, our hope is in the Lord. We are to be ever watching for his return. As Galatians 6:9 says, “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” And Jesus promises in Matthew 10:22, “And you shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that endures to the end shall be saved.” We, as Christians, are not to stand by and allow evil to advance just because we have read the end of the book and we win. We are to not be overcome with evil, but to overcome evil with good. The Lord says to be of good courage and that his gifts will never change–you are equipped. 2 Timothy 1:7 says, “For God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” We are reminded that it isn’t easy in 2 Corinthians 4:8,9: “We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed…” Verse 6 tells us, “For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, has shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.” We should not fear man. Man cannot take our soul. So we need to take heart during these times. Have courage. Put on the full armor of God and speak boldly as we ought to speak. And having done all, stand. In Psalm 32, David described the futility and misery of unconfessed sin. He said, “My body wasted away, and I groaned all day long. Day and night your hand of discipline was heavy on me. My strength evaporated like water in the summer heat” (verses 3–4 NLT). The Bible tells us, “People who conceal their sins will not prosper, but if they confess and turn from them, they will receive mercy” (Proverbs 28:13 NLT). Sometimes, we meet people who seem to be so together. They do everything right, and they say the right things. But something isn’t clicking. It appears that God isn’t blessing their endeavors. They go from one crisis to another, from one misunderstood situation to another. And we wonder what’s wrong. But then, one day, it all comes to the surface. It turns out they’ve been living in a sin they haven’t dealt with or confessed, and it caught up with them. And suddenly, we realize why things haven’t been going well in their lives. Sin will mess up everything. It will mess up every aspect of our lives. It spreads, and it’s a foul stench that permeates every area of our lives. It will affect our marriages, our businesses, our free time, and our spiritual lives. It will affect everything. That’s why we need to deal with it. And not only is sin bad for us spiritually, but it’s bad for us physically. This is obvious in the lives of those who turn to vices like drugs and alcohol. We hear far too many stories of those who have overdosed on drugs, joining the long list of people who have thrown their lives away to drug abuse and addiction. Then, there is the stress and worry connected to unconfessed sin. When you don’t deal with your sin, you are always worried that it will catch up with you sooner or later. In fact, modern medical research has proven that worry and stress break down our resistance to disease. And excessive worry can shorten a person’s life. Charles Mayo, a cofounder of the famed Mayo Clinic, once commented that he never knew anyone who died of overwork, but he knew many who died of worry. Does that describe you right now? Are you gripped with worry because you are afraid that your sin will come to the surface? That is how David felt. He said, “I groaned all day long” (Psalm 32:3 NLT). He was miserable. But then he said, “Finally, I confessed all my sins to you and stopped trying to hide my guilt. I said to myself, ‘I will confess my rebellion to the Lord.’ And you forgave me! All my guilt is gone” (verse 5 NLT). That is the only way to deal with sin. You can’t bury it and hope it will go away, because it will come back again. There’s only one place to get rid of your sin, and that is at the cross of Jesus Christ. You can’t cover it. You can’t hide it. And you can’t run from it. It will simply stick to you until you confess it.
