This week, Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu gave what I believe to be the most powerful speech of his political career. Two days earlier, six hostages had been executed by gunshots to the back of their heads because Hamas felt the IDF was getting too close to discovering them. It shocked the world and outraged the nation. In response, and under fire from Israeli leftists, families of hostages, international governments, and the United States’ White House, Netanyahu risked his political life by taking the unpopular stand against appeasement for the sake of hostage returns. As the saying goes, “With friends like these….” There was one truth that Netanyahu communicated that could not be misunderstood. As long as he is prime minister, Israel will not back down. Despite the liberal politicians, Bibi’s stand will stay strong. And despite IDF generals who prefer plotting with one another rather than listening to the government, the PM is going to ensure that the military serves the government’s wishes rather than the government serving the military’s. After listening to the speech numerous times, I believe there are four main takeaways: 1. Unity is vital to winning the war. This was a message to the Israeli public, and it came in the wake of protests and a failed labor strike that the courts declared illegal and political. The majority of our citizens agree with Netanyahu that we must remain strong together as we push to finish this war. Unfortunately, those who stand contrary to him – leftist media, big-mouth politicians, and buttinsky foreign governments – have the microphones and the television screens and the news sources. 2. We received a detailed explanation of the history and importance of keeping the Philadelphi Axis in the hands of the IDF. It is through that area along the Egypt-Gaza border that most of Hamas’s armaments pass into the country. It provides the military oxygen that keeps the terrorists breathing, so it must remain cut off. Passing it back over to Hamas is like committing martial suicide for the IDF. 3. Israel Minister of Defense Yoav Gallant, U.S. President Joe Biden, and all the others exerting political pressure on Netanyahu need to back off and let him work. As always, the left-wing media took up the cause of the anti-Bibis and grilled the PM mercilessly. But Netanyahu responded masterfully. No matter how hard they tried to trip him up, he was able to communicate his point clearly and concisely. 4. Yahya Sinwar now knows in no uncertain terms that he is a walking dead man. No pressure from the U.S. or our own far-left elements will change Bibi’s stance on the Philadelphi Axis or on the removal of Sinwar from this planet. By saying it so publicly, Netanyahu has locked himself in and he can never go back. Again, I think it is the best I have ever seen the prime minister. But I am not surprised. In fact, I remain optimistic, because biblically I know that we must win this smaller war for the big one of Ezekiel 38 to begin. A time of peace and security is coming for Israel. Once that is finally achieved, Russia, Turkey, Iran, and others will pour out of the north with the intention of destroying and pillaging Israel. All that has happened, God knew before. And He has planned out the perfect path that will ultimately lead to His people crying out to Him, “Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord” (Luke 13:35). Gaza and the Massacring of Hostages Last week we celebrated together the rescuing of Arab Bedouin hostage Qaid Farhan Alkadi from a Hamas tunnel. Just a few days later, Israel was once again outraged and mourning as six of its innocents were executed via gunshot to the back of their heads by their Hamas captors. Eden Yerushalmi, 24, Hersh Goldberg-Polin, 23, Alexander Lobanov, 32, Almog Sarusi, 27, and Ori Danino, 25, were stolen away nearly 11 months ago from the Nova Music Festival and forced to live underground up until their lives were unceremoniously taken from them in just a moment. Carmel Gat, 40, who was kidnapped from Kibbutz Be’eri, was massacred alongside them. Hamas readily admits to the executions, saying that these are the new rules. But they don’t accept responsibility. Senior Hamas official Sami Abu Zuhri said, “Netanyahu killed the six prisoners, and he is determined to kill the remaining ones.” The lie is so transparent, and it is so evil. And the media is printing it as if it came from the lips of an archangel. What about an agreement? Is Hamas begging for Israel to put down their weapons? After their tremendous losses, are they pleading with their hands folded desperate for relief? Hardly. Khalil al-Hayya, senior member of the political wing of Hamas, boldly asserts, “Without an Israeli withdrawal from the Philadelphi Corridor, from the Nezarim Corridor, and the Rafah crossing there will be no agreement.” In other words, “Israel, you are defeated. You must give up and go home.” It sounds asinine, but is it really? Hamas is counting on the two weapons that might be big enough to defeat Israel. The first is international pressure, and the second is the left-wing inside Israel. Hamas can’t do it themselves, but they have some pretty powerful allies. It’s not all bad news from Gaza. On October 7, Ahmed Fozi Nazer Muhammad Wadia, the commander of the Nukhba Company in the Daraj Tuffah Battalion, paraglided into the Netiv HaAsara community and took charge of the slaughter. While the children of slain father Gil Taasa were forced to stare at his body, Wadia looked on as he casually a coke. On Tuesday, Wadia and seven others were killed in a Gaza City compound. Hezbollah and the North The battle in the north continues. On Monday, the IDF attacked ten rocket launchers belonging to Hezbollah. Unfortunately, there are many other locations where rockets are stored and from which they can be launched, as evidenced by the 60 rockets they launched during the morning hours yesterday. The IDF responded immediately with a heavy strike. It will be interesting to watch how and when the prime minister will address Hezbollah. So far, it seems that the terrorist group is content to let their chicken-killing rocket attack of August 25 serve as a strong message to Israel that they should stop killing Hezbollah commanders like they did with Fuad Shukr. Unfortunately for the terrorists, the only ones who really seem to be upset are the members of the National Poultry Lobby who apparently took to the streets soon after, crying, “Fowl!” The West Bank The violence inside and coming out of the West Bank is only getting worse. On Sunday, a Palestinian gunman belonging to a group known as the Khalil al-Rahman Brigade ambushed an Israeli police car, killing the three officers inside. Later that day, the terrorist was dispatched while hiding out in a home in Hebron. Terrorism has become rampant in the West Bank. In recent weeks, Shin Bet has thwarted two significant terrorist attacks originating in the Nablus area. This is the same region that sent the failed suicide terrorist of August 18. Since the beginning of the year, about 200 terror attacks have been thwarted by Shin Bet. UK Bans Arms In a case of the worst timing ever, just a few days after Hamas cold-bloodedly executed six Israeli hostages, the United Kingdom announced that it was suspending a whole series of weapons exports bound for Israel. This move brought criticism from all corners of the land, including former prime minister Boris Johnson and former home secretary Priti Patel. British columnist Allison Pearson called the Labour party’s ban “a shameful betrayal of a heroic ally”, adding that doing so immediately following the execution by Hamas of six innocents “presents a bold challenge to the limits of satire.” Hey, UK, at least let us mourn our dead for a few days before you stab us in the back. Russian Missile Attack on Ukraine As Ukraine struggles to push farther across the border, Russia is fighting back. On Tuesday, two ballistic missiles hit a military educational institute and a nearby hospital in Poltava. More than 50 were killed and hundreds were injured. Russia defended its actions, saying that the military institute was a viable target. Netanyahu Is Not to Blame for The Carnage Of Hamas – By Robert Gottselig - https://harbingersdaily.com/netanyahu-is-not-to-blame-for-the-carnage-of-hamas/ This past weekend, IDF soldiers operating in Rafah retrieved the remains of six murdered captives held by Hamas terrorists. World Israel News (WIN) reported, that on Sunday, “IDF spokesman Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari said that the six captives appeared to have been executed by their captors ‘a short time’ before they were located by Israeli soldiers.” They further went on to report that “the remains of the six hostages were returned to Israel at approximately 4:00 a.m. Sunday, and were immediately brought for forensic testing and identification.” “The examinations revealed, according to the report, that the six hostages had been shot in the head sometime within the prior 48 hours,” WIN detailed. “The remains of the six captives were found without the benefit of intelligence information when a unit of IDF soldiers were traversing a tunnel under Rafah.” Tragic. Our hearts and our prayers are out for the families whose loved ones were murdered by Hamas terrorists. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday said that he was sorry that he was unable to bring the six hostages home alive and asked for forgiveness. Is the world sympathetic to him? No. They are more sympathetic to the Hamas terrorists. They blame Benjamin Netanyahu, not the demonic maniacs, because, in their eyes, this happened because of his failure to secure a ceasefire for a hostage deal. You have got to be kidding me! Joe Biden, when asked if Bibi is doing enough, cold-heartedly said, “No.” To let Hamas live to fight another day is the most vile, disgusting, non-sympathetic, and unloving thing that anyone could ever ask of Israel. They didn’t start this war. Hamas started this war. For almost 20 years, Hamas has squandered and stolen billions of dollars of foreign money to make their leaders rich and build hundreds of miles of network tunnels under Gaza homes, mosques, schools, and UNRWA facilities. And Hamas has done all this with one intent: to destroy the Jewish State. Come on, Joe Biden! Come on, media! Come on, you the left! Wake up, stand with Israel, and give Prime Minister Netanyahu the backing he needs to finish the job and eliminate Hamas. Hamas has done nothing to help the people in Gaza. They could have built a beautiful tourist destination, built infrastructure to help give the people a future, and created countless good-paying jobs; instead, they created the largest terror battleground on the planet. To top that off, they use their own people as human shields. Yet, the world blames the Israeli Prime Minister. Has the world forgotten what took place on October 7th? Have they forgotten that it was Hamas who brutally murdered the six hostages? Even a lot of the media simply said that the hostages “died.” No, they didn’t just simply “die.” They were brutally murdered by a demonic death cult called Hamas—plain and simple. To make matters worse, in Israel, over the past couple of days, progressive left-minded Israelis resumed protests against Netanyahu. These protesters are behaving as though Netanyahu is the one preventing an end to the war and a return of the hostages. If you want an end to the war, tell Hamas to surrender and return the remaining hostages! It’s that simple; the war would be over. That’s not happening, is it? Instead, they want to blame Bibi. Pinch me! I must be in a bad dream. How can people be so foolish and ignorant? Blame Hamas. Blame Hezbollah. Blame the Houthis. Blame Iran. Blame all the anti-semites. But stand with your Prime Minister, for goodness’ sake! He’s trying to prevent another October 7th from ever happening again. None of this catches God by surprise. One day, when Israel’s Messiah, Yeshua, returns, He will end anti-Semitism. He will put an end to the Israel haters and to those who wish to destroy His chosen people. He will rule this world with a rod of iron from Jerusalem on the throne of His father, David. Zechariah Chapter 14 speaks of that yet future day. This is what we read in verses 16-21: “And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles. And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain. And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that have no rain; there shall be the plague, wherewith the Lord will smite the heathen that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles. This shall be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all nations that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles. In that day shall there be upon the bells of the horses, Holiness Unto The Lord; and the pots in the Lord’s house shall be like the bowls before the altar. Yea, every pot in Jerusalem and in Judah shall be holiness unto the Lord of hosts: and all they that sacrifice shall come and take of them, and seethe therein: and in that day there shall be no more the Canaanite in the house of the Lord of hosts.” Friends, one day, the Lord is going to fix this mess that the world has created and continues to create. Until then, let’s continue to pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Let’s pray for the families of the hostages and those who have died since October 7th. Let’s continue to pray for Israel’s leaders to be wise and for the remaining hostages to be rescued or returned. Let’s pray for Hamas to ultimately be destroyed and for the Palestinians to finally choose life over death and extend their hand in peace and cooperation with Israel. "This anti-free speech movement is the most sophisticated, largest and global movement we have ever faced," says legal scholar Jonathan Turley, author of The Indispensable Right: Free Speech in an Age of Rage. Turley says, "I think the problem with free speech is that every generation has to defend it. And this generation has never been more divided, because they have been told that free speech is going to hurt them." A poll last month by the Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression found nearly one in three Americans now believe the First Amendment "goes too far. " Democratic vice-presidential candidate Tim Walz told MSNBC in 2022, "I think we need to push back on this. There's no guarantee to free speech on misinformation or hate speech, and especially around our democracy." On the contrary, the freedom to say what the majority doesn't like is the very foundation of a free society. And yet, that bedrock freedom is under attack by governments and political leaders. An investigation by the Foundation for Freedom Online found documents from Homeland Security's Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency or CISA that indicate that as recently as 2021, the agency worked with platforms to censor speech by labeling people posting so-called "misinformation" as "domestic threat actors," a possible First Amendment violation. The website showing the operation was then scrubbed from the internet but was found using the "Wayback Machine." A CISA spokesman said the agency has never censored anyone, and that the material was probably removed because it created a misunderstanding. But CISA is a part of Homeland Security, which tried to create a disinformation czar. Documents obtained under the Freedom of Information Act from USAID, a State Department program intended to strengthen democracies overseas, show that the agency encourages other nations to censor social media. In other Western democracies, the censorship situation is even worse. In Great Britain, a nation most Americans used to consider a bastion of democracy, police charge thousands of citizens each year over their social media posts. One video shows an officer at a man's door telling him, "I'm arresting you for improper use of the electronic communications network." Britain's top police official also threatened to extradite Americans who stir up trouble in the UK. The Europe Union no longer has free speech online, according to technology expert Dr. Norman Lewis with the think tank MCC Brussels. He contends only speech approved by the EU is allowed. Lewis told us, "What we have operating in Europe is what I like to call a 'censorship operating system.'" Laws like the EU's Digital Services Act force technology companies to remove content Brussels doesn't like. "They want to control the public square," Lewis says. "So, formally speaking there's 'free speech,' but when you have such vague definitions as 'hate speech' or any of these new 'woke' ideologies, it's all about controlling speech. So, you can formally uphold 'free speech,' but in reality, it means you curb stuff you don't like." EU Commissioner Thierry Breton recently threatened Elon Musk over his interview with Donald Trump. "There really is what I call an 'EU Ministry of Truth,'" Lewis says. "George Orwell would recognize this within a millisecond." America's First Amendment was written to prevent this kind of censorship, by defending speech the majority finds offensive, insulting and even verbally abusive. The Supreme Court in Matel v. Tam said the First Amendment protects the freedom to express "the thought that we hate." Turley says, "Free speech is a natural right. That was how the framers viewed it when they wrote the First Amendment. They believed that free speech was a gift from God, that it belonged to you as a human being. It wasn't granted to you by the government. It's not tolerated by the government. The government has to protect it because it defines you as a human being." Some believe one reason for the recent riots in Britain is because citizens were not allowed to publicly express their views about mass immigration without being arrested. Ken Paulson, the former editor-in-chief of USA Today, and Director of the Free Speech Center at Middle Tennessee State University, says the First Amendment freedom of speech is vital to America's existence. "We need an environment in which all ideas can be shared, regardless of merit," Paulson said. "And unless you are able to speak as you wish, then there is no way we remain rich and strong as a nation." Dozens Of Bullets Were Just Fired at A Famous Pastor’s Home. Violence that is being specifically directed at people like us is skyrocketing. Pastors are being targeted. Conservative politicians are being targeted. Churches are being targeted. Christian schools are being targeted. Pro-life organizations are being targeted. As you will see below, in recent years we have literally seen hundreds of such examples, but most of them received very little attention. People like you and I are being targeted for what we believe, and it is only going to get worse. On Tuesday night, dozens of bullets were fired at Pastor Greg Locke’s home in Tennessee. It is being reported that one of his children was actually inside the home at the time of the shooting… A shooter or shooters opened fire on a Tennessee pastor’s house late Tuesday night, firing dozens of bullets into the residence while one of the pastor’s children was home, according to police. The Wilson County Sheriff’s Office tells PEOPLE it is investigating the Tuesday night shooting and that “approximately 30-40” shell casings were recovered at the home of pastor Greg Locke in Mt. Juliet, Tenn. Officers responded to the home around 10:30 p.m. local time, Cpt. Scott Moore of the Wilson County Sheriff’s Office says. Thankfully, the child that was inside the home was not hurt. But according to Pastor Locke, a bullet actually “cut through the headboard of our youngest daughter’s bed and lodged in her pillow”… “It’s 2:00am and for the last 3 hours our home has been a full blown crime scene. According to the security cam footage, we pulled into our driveway exactly ONE MINUTE after a madman unloaded an entire magazine of bullets from an automatic weapon into our house, garage and my truck. The sound on the video is truly horrific. Detectives will still be here for a good while tonight. Only one of our kids was home and thank God not in the same area of the house. As you can see in the last pics, one of the bullets cut through the headboard of our youngest daughter’s bed and lodged in her pillow. We are all being security escorted to a hotel tonight. We have no further details. The only detail that matters is that Psalm 91 is true and GOD PROTECTED US IN UNIMAGINABLE AND SUPERNATURAL WAYS. Please pray for the Locke family tonight. We love all of you.” What would have happened if his youngest daughter had been laying on that pillow at that moment? Or what would have happened if Locke’s vehicle had pulled up one minute earlier? Just like we witnessed with Donald Trump a couple of months ago, a great tragedy was avoided only by the narrowest of margins. But from now on, Pastor Locke and his family are going to have to do things very differently, because the threat of violence is not going to go away. It is likely that someone decided to target Pastor Locke because of something that he said or did. In particular, the book burnings that his church has conducted have gotten quite a bit of publicity… For years, his church has worshiped underneath an enclosed tent. Neighbors have expressed concerns over excessive noise, large events, and book burnings. “Book burnings is the minimal amount of what we burn it was Ouija boards, it was charms, statues, and all types of things,” said Locke. Several months ago, someone set a trailer full of Bibles on fire very close to the property where Pastor Locke’s church is located… The Tennessean reports that Locke’s church has been vandalized previously, including in March when local police responded to a trailer fire in which hundreds of Bibles were burned on the intersection where the church is located. Could that very disturbing incident be related to the shooting that just occurred? Hopefully authorities will be able to solve this mystery soon. But even if the police catch whoever shot up Pastor Locke’s home, it is imperative for all of us to understand one thing. This was not an isolated incident. Let me say that again. This was not an isolated incident. Anti-Christian violence in this country has been rising at an exponential rate. According to the Family Research Council, the number of attacks on churches in 2023 was twice as high as it was in 2022, and it was eight times as high as it was in 2018… Anti-Christian hatred is accelerating in the United States, according to a Christian nonprofit that has tracked violence against U.S. churches since 2018. The Washington, D.C.-based Family Research Council (FRC) released its annual Hostility Against Churches report last week, finding there were 436 hostile incidents against churches in 2023. This is more than double the number tracked in 2022 and more than eight times as many as the group found in 2018. So what is our country going to look like if violence against churches continues to rise at an exponential rate? From this point forward, all churches are going to have to take security very, very seriously. This will particularly be true if Donald Trump wins the election in November. Many on the left consider “evangelical Christians” to be their number one enemy, and if Trump wins some will choose to direct the rage that they are feeling at “Trump’s strongest supporters”. It doesn’t matter if your church strongly supports Trump or not. If Trump wins, your church will still be a target. We live at a time when our entire society seems to be going completely nuts, and you never know when some crazy person will pull out a gun and start shooting… At least four people are dead Wednesday and a 14-year-old boy is in custody after opening fire at a high school in north central Georgia and putting the building on lockdown, authorities said. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) confirmed that four people died at Apalachee High School in Barrow County, Georgia — approximately 40 miles northeast of Atlanta – and nine others were taken to various hospitals with gunshot wounds. The suspect is alive and in custody. According to CNN, the school shooter in Georgia was apparently inspired by past school shootings… Authorities searching the home of the 14-year-old accused of killing four people at a Georgia high school this week found documents that they believe he wrote referencing past school shootings, a law enforcement source familiar with the investigation told CNN. The source said that the writings were discovered in the bedroom of suspect Colt Gray, and included references to the 2018 massacre at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Florida. When I was growing up, I never even imagined that someone might come into my school and start shooting. That sort of thing just didn’t happen in those days. But today, lunatics that commit horrific acts of violence are drawing inspiration from previous lunatics that have committed horrific acts of violence. And much of that violence is now being directed at people like us. So keep your head on a swivel and watch your six, because our world has become a very dangerous place. Daily Jot: The American Chronicles: Doggie Discrimination - Bill Wilson – www.dailyjot.com Wherever we camp across the country, people have their family dogs with them. All kinds of dogs—big ones, little ones, tall ones, short ones, skinny ones, fat ones. These furry members of the family travel with their families. But pockets of the country haven’t caught on to the idea that in the 21st Century dogs are considered family members. They are discriminated against at places of business, restaurants, tourist venues and more. When we got Charlie as a puppy, we didn’t want to leave him at a kennel when we traveled and we wanted him to be a part of all the adventures we were to experience. So we had to figure out a way to meet the challenges of Doggy Discrimination. After some good amount of research, Chris enrolled Charlie in obedience school. The idea was to train him so he could attain Service Dog status. Just as with humans who really take to doing something they love, animals are much the same way. Charlie, we found, was very competitive and always positioned himself to be the best in his class. Time and again he would somehow connect with the instructor (tapping his paw, making eye contact, whining) so he could be the one to demonstrate the most recent teaching. Well, Charlie was certified as a Service Dog—he was really proud of his red Service Dog vest. When we received it and put it on him, he strutted around the house for hours—really a different dog, one in uniform. Seems he just knew. From then on, Charlie could travel with us wherever we went. But the Doggy Discrimination sometimes rears its ugly head. We had taken the water taxi across the inlet to an island restaurant near Inglewood, Fl when the hostess told us “no dogs allowed.” We gently told her Charlie was a service dog and that by law, she couldn’t deny him entry. She checked with the manager and apologized. Not a problem. We were seated. Dinosaur Land in Front Royal, Va was another story. We had forgotten Service Dog Charlie’s vest, plus it was in the 90s and too hot for him to wear it. We did have his Service Dog picture ID. But he was refused entry without the vest. No compromise. That was the first and only time in five years Service Dog Charlie was prohibited from accompanying us. I wrote the owner a polite letter explaining the law, but never heard back. Service Dogs are protected by the ADA in all 50 states and a business may only ask 1) Is this a service dog, and 2) What task(s) does the dog perform? Service Dog Charlie has several tasks—guiding us safely along trails or sidewalks and street crossings, beaches–making sure we are alert to possible hazards and more. He is trained. And he takes it seriously, but also is very friendly to other dogs, people and children. He loves his job and loves traveling with us. Recently, he got a new service vest and it was amazing how he wanted to wear it around the house. He’s the first one in the RV when we are getting ready to go somewhere. If you want to bring your dog along on your outings, perhaps consider training as a service dog. An ancient proverb says “A friend loves at all times.” Dogs are that kind of friend. The Old Testament abounds with teachings about His forgiveness. David declared in Psalm 86, “O Lord, you are so good, so ready to forgive, so full of unfailing love for all who ask for your help” (verse 5 NLT). In another psalm, David reminds us, “He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases” (Psalm 103:3 NLT). Daniel 9:9 tells us, “But the Lord our God is merciful and forgiving, even though we have rebelled against him” (NLT). And God described Himself this way to Moses: “The God of compassion and mercy! I am slow to anger and filled with unfailing love and faithfulness. I lavish unfailing love to a thousand generations. I forgive iniquity, rebellion, and sin” (Exodus 34:6–7 NLT). The prophet Micah, reflecting on God’s forgiveness, said, “Where is another God like you, who pardons the guilt of the remnant, overlooking the sins of his special people? You will not stay angry with your people forever, because you delight in showing unfailing love” (Micah 7:18 NLT). Even when Jesus hung on the cross, He said, “Father, forgive them, for they don’t know what they are doing” (Luke 23:34 NLT). Again and again, we read in the Bible of the forgiveness of God. He will forgive all sin if it is confessed, no matter what it is. As Pastor John MacArthur pointed out, “There is no forgiveness of even the smallest sin unless it is confessed and repented of; but there is forgiveness of even the greatest sin if those divine conditions are met.” But according to Jesus, there is one sin that even God will not forgive. And what is this unforgivable sin? It is the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. It’s the point when there is no turning back. When people deliberately choose not to believe in Jesus Christ because they don’t want to change the way they live, ultimately, it can lead them to the one sin that even God will not forgive. People don’t reject Jesus Christ for any other reason except that it’s a threat to their lifestyle. They hate the light and know their deeds will be exposed. The work of the Holy Spirit in the life of nonbelievers is to speak to them and lead them to Jesus Christ. Jesus said of the Holy Spirit, “And when he comes, he will convict the world of its sin, and of God’s righteousness, and of the coming judgment” (John 16:8 NLT). In other words, the Holy Spirit works to bring nonbelievers to their senses, to show them their need for Jesus Christ. The work of the Holy Spirit is to bring us to a saving knowledge of Jesus. The Holy Spirit is incredibly patient and persistent. But there comes a point when the Spirit will no longer be patient because we continue to resist Him. This leads to the ultimate, unforgivable sin: the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit.
