After months of waiting, it appears that an all-out war in the Middle East is now very close. It is being reported that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu believes that an “all-out confrontation with Hezbollah” has become inevitable, and he has instructed the IDF to prepare for a “broad campaign” in Lebanon. There are approximately 100,000 Israelis that have been unable to return to their homes in northern Israel for months, and Netanyahu has become convinced that the only way that they can be safely returned to their homes is to force Hezbollah out of southern Lebanon. But of course Hezbollah will not go willingly. In fact, Hezbollah has warned that there will be “all-out war” if IDF forces attempt to enter southern Lebanon. Unfortunately, any hope for a peaceful resolution appears to be gone and we are being told that the Israeli government has decided to launch a military operation in southern Lebanon “as soon as international legitimacy and IDF manpower” allow for it. The following comes from a Times of Israel article entitled “PM said to warn Israel faces ‘large-scale confrontation’ with Hezbollah in near future”… According to Channel 13 news, Netanyahu believes that Israel is headed for an inevitable all-out confrontation with Hezbollah, as a diplomatic solution that could bring an end to the near-daily cross-border clashes with the Lebanese terror group remains elusive. Citing an unnamed Netanyahu associate, Channel 13 reported that no timeline had been established for the expected confrontation, which has been promised by top officials for months, and as such, it could be in weeks or months from now. The assessment that the skirmishes with Hezbollah on the northern border, which have led to the displacement of tens of thousands of Israelis, would not be solved through a diplomatic solution was shared by the security chiefs, the report stated, and as such it was agreed that a military operation should be launched as soon as international legitimacy and IDF manpower allowed for it. So many people are going to die on both sides. But it has become clear that nobody will ever be able to persuade Hezbollah to stop firing at targets in northern Israel. So a decision has been made that it is time to take action. Defense Minister Yoav Gallant has been against a military campaign in southern Lebanon, and there are reports that he may soon be fired by Netanyahu… There is currently widespread speculation in Israeli media that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will soon terminate Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, which would constitute a monumental reshuffle of his cabinet. The two have reportedly been clashing over war strategy, especially on what to do about the crisis in northern Israel, an area which has come under daily rocket and drone attack from Lebanese Hezbollah. “The drafts of the agreement have already been drawn up … Netanyahu is preparing for Gallant’s dismissal in the near future … Galant will be fired by Netanyahu,” Israeli news outlet Ynet reported Monday. Gallant is reportedly wanting to avoid immediate escalation of the war with Hezbollah in the north, reportedly clashing with the army’s Northern Command chief Ori Gordin, who is calling for the government to approve a large-scale operation in Lebanon to destroy Hezbollah. It is very difficult to succeed when everyone is not pulling in the same direction. Either Gallant has to go or Gordin has go to. And it appears that Gallant is going to be the one that will be forced out. But I do not expect the IDF to launch a military operation in southern Lebanon quite yet. Netanyahu is scheduled to address the UN General Assembly later this month, and during that address I expect him to publicly make his case for military action against Hezbollah… Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is scheduled to travel to the United States later this month to deliver an address to the U.N. General Assembly on Sept. 27, his office announced on Sunday. The Israeli premier is slated to leave for New York on Sept. 24 for meetings with world leaders on the sidelines of the event, according to the statement. Netanyahu is to address the 79th Session of the U.N. General Assembly three days later, on Friday afternoon, and fly back that Sunday. I do not think that all-out war will erupt before Netanyahu delivers that speech. But it may come fairly soon afterwards. Interestingly, this will be the first time that Netanyahu has spoken to the UN General Assembly after the Palestinians were granted a seat among the member states… Palestinians took a seat among member states at the UN General Assembly on Tuesday, a new right accorded to the Palestinian Authority’s delegation despite it not being a full member of the body. In May, an overwhelming majority of the General Assembly asserted that Palestinians deserved full membership, a move that has been blocked by the United States, which along with Israel says recognition of Palestinian statehood must come through a peace agreement. The General Assembly granted the delegation certain new rights in a resolution, which still excludes it from being able to vote or be a member of the Security Council. The coming war is going to be absolutely horrifying. In the aftermath of the war, I expect that there will be a full-fledged Palestinian state and that they will be given full membership at the United Nations. Needless to say, that will have enormous implications for all of us. But before we get to that, the entire region is going to be facing an apocalyptic war. You see, the truth is that Israel isn’t just going to be fighting Hezbollah. Israel will be fighting an alliance of Islamic nations and terror groups, and more fighters are pouring into the region with each passing day. In fact, it is being reported that large numbers of Houthi fighters have been arriving in Syria… A Houthi source confirmed the arrival of Houthi fighters from Yemen to Syrian territory, according to reports. The confirmation comes after a Syrian source told i24NEWS’ Hebrew channel that the Iran-backed Yemeni group was on its way to Israel’s border with Syria in the Golan Heights. The Yemeni armed group claimed that “this is a prelude to a new phase of escalation against Israel.” Both sides are preparing for war, and this is going to be the sort of war where both sides don’t hold anything back. The death and destruction that we will witness will shock the entire globe. We have been warned that this war would be coming for a very long time, and now we are almost there. So many lives have already been lost since last October, and now the entire Middle East stands right on the brink of a complete and utter nightmare. (1 Timothy 4:1–5) Specifically, a recent news item I believe involves this prophecy spoke to me as a profound indicator of the lateness of this hour leading to the Tribulation era. I apologize for its length, but it adequately explains elements involved in bringing us to this point in the growing demand to abstain from eating meat. A new £38m UK-wide center is set to research alternatives to animal proteins, particularly from plants, fungi, algae and meat grown in labs. The National Alternative Protein Innovation Centre (“NAPIC”) has a mission to develop “acceptable and planet-friendly alternatives to animal proteins.” Funding has come from the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (“BBSRC”) and Innovate UK, as well as three universities and the James Hutton Institute. A statement by the organizations said supplementing traditional agriculture with alternative protein sources was “critical if we are to meet increasing demands sustainably.” Alternative proteins are derived from sources other than animals and include terrestrial and aquatic plants, insects, proteins derived via biomass or precision fermentation and cultured meat… Animal agriculture is estimated to produce up to a fifth of planet-warming emissions, and with the global population projected to reach nearly 10 billion by 2050, the demand for protein is expected to rise significantly. Some sources, such as the UN Environment Programme, estimate meat consumption alone could grow up to 50 per cent by 2050. We need to find more sustainable sources of protein and thankfully there is a huge biodiversity in non-animal sources of protein, and we’ve barely scratched the surface of this… [In this piece, the writer introduces alternative thoughts on the “no meat” diet.] Fake meat, synthetic meat, test tube meat, franken meat, clean meat – call it what you will – is the trend to grow meat artificially in a laboratory, and has been attracting some impressive billionaire investment backing and media interest in recent times. What has been interesting in this era of “fake news” and fact-checking is the number of media articles about fake meat that repeat claims by its commercial proponents that real meat is bad for just about everything, while lab-grown meat is without ethical or environmental baggage – with no apparent attempt to verify those claims. Beyond the perception that lab-grown meat must be “better for the environment,” another fundamental premise put forward by its animal rights supporters is that it conveniently does away with the need for an animal to die, in order to produce a meal. Unlike traditional beef production, culturing animal cells in a petri dish causes no harm or pain to a sentient animal, they insist. But what’s not yet being discussed in any of the “gee-whiz” publicity about lab-grown meat is the back story behind the medium needed to produce it. According to a prominent Australian animal scientist spoken to by Beef Central, multiplying animal cells to create a form of meat protein in a lab requires the use of a medium based on foetal blood plasma. Foetal blood is produced by slaughtering a pregnant cow, removing its unborn calf from its uterus, and harvesting the blood from it. While a synthetic alternative to foetal blood does exist, it is apparently prohibitively expensive to produce, the meat scientist said. So much for “mortality-free” lab-grown meat production. Most of these want to reduce populations of earth in order to make life on the planet more “sustainable,” as we’ve all heard Prince Charles (now King Charles) of Great Britain lecture about for years. In that regard, they are proposing, through the LGBTQ model and abortion/infanticide route, the reduction of marriage unions that produce children. All of this, of course, in the cause of helping with global warming/climate change—the Mother Earth worship religion they have created that Antichrist’s False Prophet will no doubt have something to say about once the Church is called into Glory by the Lord Jesus Christ. Here again is how to go to Christ and avoid the coming terrors of the Tribulation. A “blood moon” lunar eclipse will happen this week, the “comet of the century” will begin to appear in the night sky later this month, and a “ring of fire” solar eclipse will happen on October 2nd. Needless to say, it is very unusual for so many historic heavenly events to occur so close to one another. And of course these signs in the heavens are all happening at a time when our entire planet is rapidly descending into a state of complete and utter chaos. On Tuesday night, we will witness something truly special. It isn’t every day that we get to see a partial lunar eclipse during a “supermoon”… Turn your eyes to the sky on Tuesday for an extra special full moon. The harvest moon, or closest full moon to the autumnal equinox, will also be a supermoon, appearing larger and brighter in the night sky. If that wasn’t enough, there will also be a partial lunar eclipse. The full moon and lunar eclipse will be Tuesday night, Sept. 17, into Wednesday morning. We are being told that during this partial lunar eclipse the moon will turn “blood red”… Stargazers will be treated to a moon that is 14 per cent larger than normal. It will be blood red in colour, creating an eerie autumn effect. The color – called a blood moon – is seen during partial or total lunar eclipses. The twin event will be visible in Europe, South America, Africa, and much of North America. Much of the civilized world will get to see this blood red moon. Subsequently, a spectacular comet that has been dubbed “the comet of the century” by astronomers will be visible in the night sky starting in late September… C/2023 A3, also known as Tsuchinshan–ATLAS and considered “the comet of the century,” will appear in all its splendor in our sky during September and October 2024. Due to its characteristics, astronomers believe it will be exceptionally bright, similar to Halley’s comet in 1986 or NEOWISE in 2020. Apparently you will be able to see this comet even if you aren’t using a telescope. It is being reported that it will be shining the brightest on October 2nd… C/2023 A3 will shine in the northern hemisphere sky from September 27 and will remain visible until the last week of October. During this period, the comet will reach its minimum distance from the sun, before beginning its journey back out of the solar system. According to the specialized blog Cometography, the day when C/2023 A3 will shine the brightest will be October 2. The comet’s tail will be long and spectacular at this point due to its proximity to the sun. Okay, this is beginning to get really weird. Do you remember what else is happening on October 2nd? For those that do not remember, there will be a “ring of fire” Rosh Hashanah eclipse on October 2nd… The “ring of fire” eclipse—also known as an annular solar eclipse—is a month away, and although Hawaii is the only U.S. state that will be within the partial path of viewing, parts of Chile and Argentina will see the entire eclipse, while other South American countries will also be in the partial or full path. So let me get this straight. A “ring of fire” solar eclipse will literally be occurring on the exact same day that “the comet of the century” is the brightest. And all of this will be happening just as the festival of Rosh Hashanah is beginning. As I discussed in a previous article, only 2 solar eclipses occur in 2024, and both of them fall on very noteworthy dates… Why do solar eclipses keep falling on such noteworthy dates? In 2024, there will be a total of just 2 solar eclipses. The first happened on April 8th, 2024. That was known as the “Great American Eclipse of 2024”, and it occurred just after the sun had gone down in Israel and the first day of the first month on the Hebrew calendar had begun. The second solar eclipse of 2024 will take place on October 2nd. When it occurs, the sun will have just gone down in Israel and the festival of Rosh Hashanah will have just started. In recent years, we have seen so many noteworthy eclipses happen, but most of the population is still not paying attention. And most of the population also doesn’t seem to realize that our planet is becoming increasingly unstable. On Monday, southern California was shaken by yet another sizable earthquake… A magnitude 3.6 earthquake struck in Southern California early Monday, according to the United States Geological Survey, marking the second temblor to hit the region in less than five days. The earthquake took place west of Los Angeles and was its epicenter was recorded about 3.5 miles north of Malibu, the USGS reported. Further north along the North American coastline, we just witnessed a magnitude 6.5 earthquake… A magnitude 6.5 earthquake struck off the coastal city of Port McNeill, in British Columbia, Canada, on Sunday, the United States Geological Survey said. The quake’s epicenter in the Pacific Ocean was at a depth of 10 km (6.2 miles) below the seabed, the USGS said. Why can’t more people understand what is happening? As I discussed a few days ago, earthquake activity in California is literally breaking records, and yet hardly anyone seems alarmed. Before I end this article, let me throw just one more thing at you… In a bit of ominous news befitting a Friday the 13th: It turns out that the asteroid Apophis could have a very small chance of colliding into Earth in five years, when it is expected to make a close flyby on April 13, 2029 − yes, a Friday the 13th. But we’d have to be extremely unlucky. There’s still no cause for concern – at least not yet. For the asteroid named for an Egyptian god of chaos to pose a risk to Earth, it would need to be hit by another space rock at just the right angle to redirect the city-killer on a collision course. Those odds? About one-in-2-billion. They are now admitting that there is an extremely small chance that Apophis could actually hit us. Personally, I am far more concerned about the giant space rocks that they haven’t even discovered yet. Our region of space has been getting really busy in recent years, and it is only a matter of time before we get hit by something really big. But for now life continues to go on as normal, and most people are paying very little attention to what is happening in the skies above us. What Happened to My Church? – By Jan Markell - https://harbingersdaily.com/jan-markell-what-happened-to-my-church/ I began hearing from Olive Tree Ministries supporters as long ago as 2005 concerning church dilemmas and unsound doctrinal issues in the church. Over twenty years, they only skyrocketed. Sure, there have always been apostasy and unsound teaching in the church. The Bible warns about doctrines of demons and wolves among the flock (I Timothy 4:1; Acts 20:29). But two decades ago, things took a serious turn that many of us couldn’t ignore. Here is a short list of what started to be front-and-center in today’s evangelical pulpit: creation care, Critical Race Theory, social justice, welcoming the stranger, tolerance, LGBTQ, and much more. In 2010, a prominent evangelical pastor in the Twin Cities held a seminar instructing pastors how to cut their electric bill and how to diminish their carbon footprint. That got my attention more than anything as this evangelical leader was admired by many. His church, even today, is a prominent mega-church. What Happened to “What Must I Do to Be Saved?” What have the above issues to do with the gospel of salvation? To further what appeared to be a leftist agenda, sound doctrine was being marginalized, and “what must I do to be saved?” was being diminished. Reminding sinners that they were on their way to hell must be offensive. In 2012, I heard about the Evangelical Immigration Table. The organization was funded by George Soros and was dedicated to “welcoming the stranger”, as mentioned. Christian leaders and pastors who should know better signed on. It was not the catastrophe of Biden’s open border, but it was a set-up for it. I learned that the Evangelical Environmental Network would come to my church and tell everyone how we can breathe clean air. Are you kidding? The National Association of Evangelicals decried gun violence and encouraged pulpits to discuss the concern about America’s nukes. I guess the thinking was that North Korea would dismantle their nuclear capability if America would. I wish I were making this up. Thou Shalt Not Offend At the same time, the eleventh commandment seemed to work its way into the church: Thou shalt not offend. Pastors taking a stand diminished. Talking about relevant issues vanished, such as Bible prophecy and teaching support for Israel. The signs of the times only scare people many were told, and some suggested that Jesus was a Palestinian. Who knew? Not What They Used to Be All of this was slow and subtle, but over twenty years, the destruction in today’s church is so grievous that many write this ministry and say they have given up on church. While we don’t recommend that, it should be obvious that things are not what they used to be, and those disillusioned with church should not be casually dismissed. Enter Megan Basham’s book Shepherds for Sale: How Evangelical Leaders Traded the Truth for a Leftist Agenda. At a time when the church seems to be at a crossroads, Megan’s book provides a meticulously-researched exposé on the infiltration of leftist ideologies into all things evangelical. Reading it, I truly felt vindicated. I had raised all of these concerns on my radio program many years ago. Few would believe that things were so bad, plus I got a reputation I don’t think I deserved. I was being a watchman on the wall trying to warn the sheep but some suggested I was a trouble maker. You can’t tell the inconvenient truth. Don’t Make the Same Mistake I was warning that the Mainline Protestant Church had declined to almost insignificance over the last one hundred years, for making this same mistake. The evangelical church prospered after 1940 as Methodists, Lutherans, and Episcopalians strayed from the gospel so they could fly the rainbow flag inside and outside their churches. And now evangelicals want to do the same? Shouldn’t we learn from the mistakes made by denominations that had caved and not follow in their footsteps? The result is that fewer and fewer evangelicals are talking about the old rugged cross and preaching Bible exposition. But Christ died for the Church and we cannot give up on it! A heavenly endless church service awaits us in eternity with a celestial choir and orchestra. The preaching will also be out of this world! We’ll all be one denomination. We will finally be in one accord. Daily Jot: Kamala’s propaganda policy page - Part I - Bill Wilson – www.dailyjot.com The day before her debate with Donald Trump, Kamala Harris released her policy statements at kamalaharris.com titled “A New Way Forward.” Her new way forward is much like the old way backward, cloaking extreme leftist ideas in words that give images of working middle class ideals. In essence, it’s a propaganda policy page where in every instance the extreme Democratic Party positions are made to sound like great American concepts that promote wealth, financial security and social freedom. In reality, these extreme policies lead to socialistic bondage under a Marxist philosophy. In reading through her policy statement, she has made it sound like eutopia when the devil is truly in the details. Harris has been in office with Joe Biden since the beginning. How is it that a day before her debate with Trump she comes up with new forward-thinking policies to solve the problems that she and Biden created? For example, she has a platform plank “Secure our borders and fix our broken immigration system.” She was put in charge of fixing the border problem that Biden and her created by inviting illegal aliens to cross the borders. When it became an intolerable situation, she blamed it on Trump, did nothing to stop the influx of illegal entrants, and lied to the American people that the problem was solved. She says she believes in “tough, smart solutions to secure the border.” She also states, “she knows the immigration system is broken and needs comprehensive reform that includes strong border security.” If only words were solutions… Her ideas on banning private gun ownership are also couched in dog-whistle language to the extremists who will vote for her. She states she “won’t stop fighting so that Americans have the freedom to live safe from gun violence in our schools, communities, and places of worship.” Interesting, don’t we already “have the freedom to live safe from gun violence”? It’s not our freedom that is the issue, it is the criminal and mental state of those who commit gun violence. Yet, Harris wants to continue banning guns, requiring government background checks, and establish red flag laws to “keep guns out of the hands of dangerous people.” That would include former military and Christians because Democratic Party leaders believe patriots and Christians are dangerous. Plus she wants to use the same controls that don’t work in the most controlled areas. She uses the phrase “Americans should have the freedom to…” several times. In each case, she is enumerating freedoms that we already have. Then she states how her government will take away freedoms of the regular citizen to curb gun violence or drug problems or border security. Instead of addressing the criminals, her policies are to expand government control over all citizens, hoping to catch in the wide net the bad guys too. This is nothing short of Marxism and the propaganda paints a picture where government, not God can solve all the problems. Yet Jesus had warned this group about committing the unpardonable sin, which was blaspheming the Holy Spirit. He said this because they had attributed the works of God that He was doing to the devil. Specifically, they accused Jesus of casting out demons by the power of the devil. So He warned them of going too far and actually blaspheming the Holy Spirit. He was saying that knowledge brings responsibility. Jesus went on to explain, “When an evil spirit leaves a person, it goes into the desert, seeking rest but finding none. Then it says, ‘I will return to the person I came from.’ So it returns and finds its former home empty, swept, and in order. Then the spirit finds seven other spirits more evil than itself, and they all enter the person and live there. And so that person is worse off than before. That will be the experience of this evil generation” (Matthew 12:43–45 NLT). Jesus was referring to demonic powers in this passage. Demons are both real and powerful. And in this passage, it appears that the person who once was possessed by this unclean spirit had a housecleaning. Things were put in order to some degree. It would appear the person had made some kind of moral change. To understand this in context, we must remember that Jesus was speaking to moral, religious people who didn’t really know God. Jesus was comparing the human life and heart to a house. And He was saying that morality won’t save us. Religion won’t save us. Jesus was giving us a picture of those who make moral changes in their lives but don’t get to the root of their problem, which is the absence of God in their lives. The sins they commit are but symptoms of a deeper problem: the lack of Jesus Christ living inside them. People will make changes in their lives for many reasons. Sometimes, when they face a crisis, they begin to evaluate their priorities and take stock of their lives. They determine what needs to change. But often the same people end up going back to their old ways. Why? Because the house is swept and put in order, but it’s still empty. We must not lose sight of the basic truth that morality, in itself, will not bring a right relationship with God. Morality never will bring spirituality. But true spirituality always will bring morality.
