Lately, the Biden administration seems more interested in appeasing their anti-Israel left-wing base than standing with Israel, and in doing so, they are doing nothing more than stabbing Israel in the back. Under Biden, the Democrats’ support for Israel has been wavering. One minute, they’re with Israel, supporting their right to defend themselves against the terrorist group Hamas, and the next minute, the Democrats under Biden are telling Israel to end the war and not to go into Rafah, leaving Hamas a victory and to live another day. If you remember, in early May, Biden told Netanyahu that if Israel entered Rafah, the US would block specific weapons from being sent to the Jewish State. Then, at the end of May, Biden released a three-phase plan that he falsely claimed Israel had accepted. Here’s what Biden proposed: This new proposal has three phases — three. The first phase would last for six weeks. Here’s what it would include: a full and complete ceasefire; a withdrawal of Israeli forces from all populated areas of Gaza; a release of a number of hostages — including women, the elderly, the wounded — in exchange for the release of hundreds of Palestinian prisoners. There are American hostages who would be released at this stage, and we want them home. Additional, some remains of hostages who have been killed would be returned to their families, bringing some degree of closure to their terrible grief. Palestinians — civilians — would return to their homes and neighborhoods in all areas of Gaza, including in the north. Humanitarian assistance would surge with 600 trucks carrying aid into Gaza every single day. With a ceasefire, that aid could be safely and effectively distributed to all who need it. Hundreds of thousands of temporary shelters, including housing units, would be delivered by the international community. All of that and more would begin immediately — immediately. During the six weeks of ph- — of phase one, Israel and Hamas would negotiate the necessary arrangements to get to phase two, which is a permanent end to hostol- — to hostilities. Now, I’ll be straight with you. There are a number of details to negotiate to move from phase one to phase two. Israel will want to make sure its interests are protected. But the proposal says if the negotiations take longer than six weeks for phase one, the ceasefire will still continue as long as negotiations continue. And the United States, Egypt, and Qatar would work to ensure negotiations keep going — all agreements — all agreements — until all the agreements are reached and phase two is able to begin. Then phase two: There would be an exchange for the release of all remaining living hostages, including male soldiers; Israeli forces would withdraw from Gaza; and as long as Hamas lives up to its commitments, a temporary ceasefire would become, in the words of the propo- — the Israeli proposal, “the cessation of hostilities permanently,” end of quote. “Cessation of hostilities permanently.” Finally, in phase three, a major reconstruction plan for Ga- — for Gaza wou- — would commence. And any final remains of hostages who have been killed would be returned to their families. That’s the offer that’s now on the table… Let me get this straight. Israel has to come to a complete ceasefire and withdrawal of Israeli forces from all populated areas. Hamas is going to release a few hostages—in exchange, by the way, for hundreds of terrorist prisoners, all with blood on their hands. Then, the Gazans can return to their homes in all areas, and Israel is supposed to sit down with Hamas and negotiate on how to get to “phase two.” You have got to be kidding me! Negotiate with terrorists whose charter is to destroy you. Has Biden gone mad? Apparently so. Instead of pressuring Hamas to release the hostages and surrender to end this war, it’s all on Israel to surrender, which gives Hamas the victory. All I can say is, woe unto America! That is not going to bring blessing to your country. I can guarantee you that. Israel has a better way: Finish off Hamas and rescue the hostages. That’s just what they continued to do this past weekend, rescuing four hostages who were being held in two separate buildings in a densely populated civilian area in central Gaza. This was a highly coordinated rescue effort, and it was nothing short of miraculous, involving much intelligence, weeks of training with a precise plan, and many special Israeli Force teams. Hamas claimed that, in the process, Israel killed at least 274 Palestinians. Of course, CNN jumped all over Hamas’ propaganda. Instead of praising Israel’s heroic rescue efforts, its report stated, “At least 210 people killed and hundreds injured in Israeli raid to rescue four hostages in central Gaza.” That statement makes it sound as though it really wasn’t worth it, “Well, for four hostages, you’ve killed 210 people, Israel.” What is CNN doing? That’s not what should have been communicated. It should have been a praise of God for what Israel has accomplished. The question should have been: Why in the world were the hostages being held in the civilian area in the first place? CNN didn’t ask that important question. It further confirms what Israel already knew, that many ordinary Gazan civilians were and are in on this whole terrorist operation. To make matters worse, the US has been working to try to dismantle Israel’s fragile emergency government in the middle of this war. The US held private meetings with Benny Gantz—Israel’s opposition leader—who quit the war cabinet last Saturday. There is little doubt that the US played a role in that departure. Sadly, it’s about the upcoming US election in November. It’s all about votes and staying in power. What can we take away from all of this? Ultimately, God is still on the throne and has His eyes on the whole situation. Don’t kid yourself. Understand that. Take comfort in that. He’s got his eyes on the developments in Israel and around the world. None of this should surprise students of God’s word. We know that one day, the whole world is going to turn on Israel with only God defending her. Yes, that’s what the Bible says is coming, as we read in Zechariah chapter 14. If the things we are seeing happening in our world today are setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled, then we shouldn’t be saying ridiculous things like “All eyes on Rafah.” Rather, we should be dead serious in saying, “All eyes on God’s word.” Iran's Attempts to Attack Israel Must Be Confronted - by Con Coughlin - https://www.gatestoneinstitute.org/20702/iran-attacks-israel With Hamas facing the prospect of suffering a cataclysmic defeat in Gaza, the recent upsurge in attacks on northern Israel by Hezbollah, from Lebanon, suggests that Iran is determined to open a second military front to distract attention away from Hamas's dire plight, and to further the plan of its patron, Iran, to try to annihilate Israel. Iran's support for Hamas was crucial to enabling the terrorist organisation to carry out its murderous assault against southern Israel on October 7. Apart from providing valuable intelligence on the Israel Defence Forces' (IDF) key positions along the Gazan border, Iran was the main provider of the weaponry used to conduct the atrocities. After Iran launched its first direct attack, from its own soil, against Israel in April, when most of the Iranian missiles and drones were intercepted before reaching their targets, Iran's options have become increasingly limited for providing assistance to its long-standing ally Hamas, as well as to its wish to exterminate Israel. The prospect of the Gaza conflict ending with the complete destruction of the Iranian-backed terrorist group Hamas is viewed with alarm in Tehran, which remains committed to maintaining its support for the so-called "axis of resistance", the collection of Islamist terrorist groups that includes Hamas and Hezbollah in Lebanon. The steady erosion of Hamas's ability to maintain its terrorist operations was highlighted at the weekend, when the IDF staged a daring rescue mission to free four Israeli hostages being held by the terror group in the Gaza district of Nuseirat. With Hamas set to suffer a catastrophic defeat in Gaza at the hands of the IDF, Iran is clearly seeking to ease the pressure on its terrorist ally by provoking Israel into opening a second front by counterattacking more aggressively against Hezbollah in Lebanon. This would explain the recent upsurge in attacks against northern Israel by Hezbollah terrorists in recent weeks. According to Israel's Shin Bet domestic intelligence service, Hezbollah launched more than 1,000 anti-tank missiles, rockets and drones against northern Israel -- in a country smaller than New Jersey -- during May. This compares with 334 in January and 534 in February, whilst in both March and April, there were more than 740. The frequency of the attacks is having an increasingly difficult impact on Israelis living close to the border area, who are enduring almost daily bombardments, with Israeli officials claiming that nearly 5,000 projectiles have been launched towards Israel from Lebanon since the start of the war in Gaza. At least 100,000 Israelis are estimated to have fled their homes in northern Israel since Hezbollah launched its attacks following Hamas's invasion on Israel on 7 October, and are living as displaced persons is temporary lodgings. In the past week, the intensity of the attacks has led to Hezbollah rockets sparking a series of wildfires in northern Israel, with Israeli firefighters battling to contain the blazes, which have been exacerbated by high temperatures. More than 3,500 acres of land have been destroyed so far. The use of Iranian-made drones in the attacks, moreover, signifies that Hezbollah is using more sophisticated methods to attack Israel's northern border, which Hezbollah officials insist will continue until there is a ceasefire in Gaza. They see to be hoping either to destroy Israel without being harmed themselves, or that that someone else will please stop the war that they began. The upsurge in violence has increased the pressure on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to take firm action against the mounting threat Hezbollah poses to Israelis. Last week, an Israeli army reservist was killed and at least ten people wounded in a Hezbollah drone attack on the Druze village of Hurfeish in the Upper Galilee. After conducting a personal tour of the region, Netanyahu warned that Israel was ready with an "extremely powerful" response if Hezbollah persisted with its attacks. Netanyahu's willingness to give serious consideration to opening a second front in Israel's war against Iranian-backing terrorists is a measure of his utter determination to emerge victorious in his pledge to utterly destroy Hamas. Netanyahu's resolve in the face of so many challenges, from splits in his own war cabinet over the conduct of the war in Gaza to incessant pressure from Washington to agree to a ceasefire, has prompted comparisons with British wartime leader Sir Winston Churchill, with Andrew Roberts labelling the Israeli PM "The Winston Churchill of the Middle East." There is massive evidence that the Biden administration would like to see Netanyahu removed and that someone more "compliant" to the wishes of the US replace him – a new Israeli prime minister who would not object to Hamas continuing to rule the Gaza Strip after the fighting ends, and rebuild its military to be able to attack Israel again as it has vowed to do. The US would also doubtless like an Israeli prime minister would gladly accept a Palestinian state supervised by Qatar, which has a regrettable but endless track record of promoting and sponsoring terrorists. The Biden administration would apparently like an Israeli prime minister who would agree that a nuclear-armed Iran is exactly what the Middle East needs at this time, and, to that end, has been begging European officials not to object to Iran's nuclear program. If the Israelis are smart, they will keep Netanyahu. He has shown time and again that he can stand up to immense pressure from whoever is trying to insert a knife in Israel's back – whether the Obama administration proposing an Iranian nuclear bomb in 2015, or Senator Chuck Schumer and President Joe Biden's unsubtle efforts to try to get him ousted. While the IDF's successful operation to rescue four Israeli hostages held by Hamas in Gaza will have boosted Netanyahu's claim that his uncompromising approach to defeating Hamas is paying dividends, the pressure on him both to accept a ceasefire -- an agreement he argues would simply reward Hamas for conducting its horrific terrorist attacks on October 7 -- and hold off from launching military action against Hezbollah remains strong. Unfortunately, the only way of seeing all the hostages released is by military pressure. The UN Security Council's backing for a US resolution setting out a ceasefire plan for the war in Gaza will lend encouragement to US Secretary of State Antony Blinken's latest diplomatic efforts to persuade Israel and Hamas to a temporary cessation of hostilities, which none of the parties, save Biden, remotely wants. In his eighth diplomatic mission to the region since the October 7 attacks, Blinken is urging top Israeli officials to accept and implement a plan for postwar Gaza, while at the same time pushing for more international pressure on Hamas to accept a temporary ceasefire, which is not at all what Hamas wants. Like Iran, Hamas is looking for a saviour to permanently end the conflict it began so that it can go back to ruling Gaza and rebuilding its military to strike Israel again. At the same time, Blinken is also trying to cut his own separate deal with Hamas to release just the American hostages -- a plan that not only double-crosses Israel, but also undercuts his own proposal at the UN. Meanwhile, Washington is urging the Israeli government to limit its response to Hezbollah's constant attacks against Israel's northern border, with the Biden administration claiming that neither a "limited war" in Lebanon nor a "small regional war" are realistic options in dealing with Hezbollah, and that any escalation in Israel's military response could result in further involvement by Iran. On both these issues -- calling for a ceasefire and limiting Israel's response to Hezbollah -- the Biden administration needs a reality check on what is really taking place on the ground on Israel's northern and southern borders. The fact that the freed Israeli hostages were being held by Hamas in a densely populated neighborhood in Gaza area shows the lengths the terrorists are prepared to go to withstand Israel's military assault in the hope that they can use the remaining hostages as a bargaining chip to obtain favourable ceasefire terms. As for the risk of Iran deepening its involvement in the conflict, that has already happened, as the recent increase in Hezbollah attacks on Israel has demonstrated. To prevail against determined terrorist organizations like Hamas and Hezbollah, Israel and its allies need to rally support for Netanyahu, rather than constantly criticize him. Isn’t the pandemic over? Can’t we move on already? Unfortunately, the pandemic is not over. The pandemic is the explanation for every major problem. The pandemic knocked the world off its axis, and it is still spinning wonky. Here’s the problem. Covid launched the three most important Biblically based values historically constraining government into outer space: truth, transparency, and trust. In absentia, these fundamental core principles were all enslaved to a new master value: science. From the first, when Christians originally invented science, it was never a value system. Christians already had a value system. Science was not a value system, it was a skeptical process for falsifying hypotheses. Science was a thinking toolbox. It held a hammer of skepticism, a wrench of logic, and a screwdriver of reason. It was designed to help humans learn more about the natural laws governing our perceptible universe. You couldn’t touch science. You couldn’t see it. It’s not tangible. You can’t really put it in a toolbox, or a hot pocket, or anywhere else. But like the Hulk, "science" evolved. It morphed, emerging after centuries from its intangible chrysalis of rational inquiry, revealed as something new, something tangible, something that had its own separate existence. It became Science with a capital ’S’. And Science was something to believe in, like Santa Clone or the Tooth Fauci. Belief in capital-S Science required faith, not reason. And faith is something that brooks no questions. Faith and belief are binaries. They are litmus tests. Either you believed in Science, or you didn’t—there was no middle ground. If you didn’t believe in Science, put your faith in Science, and trust in Science, you clearly were anti-Science. You were, in fact, a Science denier. The "Science denier" label was, of course, always a blood libel. It was intended to evoke the sulfuric odors of antisemitic Holocaust denial. Ironically, shredding small-s science’s pragmatic roots, Science irrationally injected muddy belief and politics into the previously sterile corridors of rational philosophy. It didn’t make sense. Calling people “anti-Science” always bore the same logical weight as calling atheists anti-God, or calling UFO skeptics anti-UFO. (This irrational train would shortly pass through the rabbit hole tunnel and arrive at an Alice in Wonderland station where the gift shop sells books like Anti-Racist Baby. But that’s a different discussion.) Science’s zealous and devoted high priests were the billionaires, bureaucrats, and bioengineers. Science’s sacrament was the high-tech vaccine that, like baptism, must be unquestioningly received by evangelistic believers in a public demonstration designed to prove their faith. Science’s original sin was disbelief. Many career scientists with impeccable credentials who asked the wrong questions were branded anti-Scientific and ritualistically excommunicated from the ranks of true believers. It’s easy to mistake the high priests of this new religion of Science as the architects and authors of the religion itself. Blaming the pandemic’s fervent administrators is natural, since they were the visible face of its worst excesses. But this comfortable conclusion overlooks the vast community of maniacal adherents. Politics, they say, is downstream from culture. Observe the global nature of the pandemic response. The new religion of Science took the world in its iron grip, and over a few days, every single world government signed a legal loyalty oath requiring them all to respond in exactly the same way. But universal agreement is not human. Humans never easily agree on anything. They never all agree, even when people are all aligned and same-minded. Anyone who’s ever volunteered on the homeowner’s association board knows exactly what I mean. How then did the entire world fall into line in a few days (apart from short-lived exceptions that more fully prove the rule)? How did they achieve universal agreement to supplant the long-standing, inarguable goods of truth, transparency, and trust with a brand-new lodestar, a new universal faith offering redemption to the human race — Science? It’s exquisitely tempting, comforting even, to blame the high priests of the pandemic — the billionaires, bureaucrats, and bioengineers. Yet, global agreement has never before been achieved, regardless of money or military power. We must look for a non-human cause. In early 2021, I published my most widely read post, which immediately went viral, got me canceled, and got Coffee & Covid purged from every single publishing platform on the same day. It was a letter to the Church, addressed to pastors. I advised spiritual shepherds to stop falsely telling their flocks that the vaccines stopped transmission, and most of all, to stop preaching that taking the jabs was a moral imperative. I explained that the World had been possessed by a demonic Spirit of Fear, manifested in a substitute religion of Science with its own rituals, sacraments, and high priests. (Biblical rabbit hole: compare Zechariah 1:7-11 and Zechariah 6 with Revelation 5:6 and 6:1-7, and discuss.) This diabolical Spirit of Science displaced everything in its satanic swath of destruction, casting churches into the non-essential abyss, instantly rendering them useless artifacts of the old order. It was not coincidental that in the United States, the only lawful protection from the legalistic sacrament of mandates was a religious exemption. The good news today is that, recovering its footing after the shock of the initial onslaught, the rational world fought back. Now we are at war. Because it involves Spirits and not reason, it is a spiritual war. And a spiritual war requires a spiritual defense. Every inexplicable post-pandemic development in the world, like all the wars — both real military wars and insane cultural wars — plus the rumors of wars, and downstream global effects like worldwide inflation, are merely by-products of this spiritual war. If that is true, how then should Christian legislators respond? The legislative response is to restore to government the essential Biblical principles of truth, transparency, and trust. The legislative branch must overthrow the false Religion of Science, along with all its unholy sacraments and performative legalism. Don’t fall into the slough of despondence. Focus on those three positive values. It’s unnecessary to grapple with Science’s made-up sins of misinformation, conspiracy theory, or its pseudo-scientific forced orthodoxy. Government should always be truthful and should never lie. Government should always be transparent — sunlight being the best disinfectant — and should never act in secret. And government should always act in ways that cause citizens to trust it more, and never act in ways that destroy the essential trust required by democratic systems based on the notion that citizens govern themselves. These arguments are uncontroversial and inarguable. Cling to them. Truth, transparency, and trust are universally recognized values. They aren’t the exclusive jurisdiction of Christians. They are fundamental, inarguable principles preserving freedom, individual rights, and human flourishing. It is time to restore truth, transparency, and trust to government. It is time to reject the false premise that Science can somehow redeem humanity’s sins. It is time to focus legislative efforts on restoring real values, to force government to live up to its own standards, and to expose the false promises of pseudo-scientific deception, however painful or embarrassing that might ultimately be. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.” Psalm 14:1. It seems that in this day and age, people go out of their way to deny God. There’s always been people who cannot see the truth, and they have always made life difficult for true Christians. Today, we have television and social media that promote all manner of sin and evil. The entertainment industry is an instrument of Satan and reaches most people with its message of evil. Children are sent to public school where they are indoctrinated into believing lies. It seems that only the Bible is forbidden. If a parent stands up and protests the choice of books in the school library, they are made to look like fools. Thank God there are parents who are brave enough to stand up and protest the filth being taught. Thank God for parents who are able to homeschool their children. In many cases, pastors have dropped the ball. Instead of using God’s word as authority, many pastors have compromised truth and joined with the world. Instead of studying Scripture in seminary, psychological studies tell them how to run their congregations. Psychology does not bring salvation. All Scripture was directly spoken to the man who held the pen; it is directly from God. If you are ashamed to follow God’s teachings, then you need to take a hard look at your faith. Are you ashamed of Jesus Christ? “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.” Romans 1:16. Paul wasn’t ashamed, and neither am I. The Apostle Paul wrote God-breathed letters to the men whom he trusted to be pastors. He encouraged them in the ways of choosing leaders, and how to deal with problems within the congregation. He never told these men to be more seeker friendly or use psychology to build up the congregation. No name-it-and-claim-it lies, or New Age heresy. Timothy was one such pastor to receive letters. Paul encouraged him to stand firm in the faith. “But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness, Fight the Good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.” 1 Timothy 6:11-12. These words should be burned upon the heart of every pastor. They should be burned upon the heart of every Christian. Paul had a lot to say to Timothy that all pastors should pay attention to. “Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy; That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate; Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.” 1 Timothy 6:17-19. That sort of shoots down the “name-it-and-claim-it” preachers, and those who are getting rich from compromising God’s word to be “seeker friendly”. If God has blessed you with wealth in this world, be sure to use it for His glory. If He has not given you much money, praise Him. He has given you other blessings to be used for His glory. Too many TV preachers or those who run very large churches, all seem to encourage the listeners to “Get their best life now”, “Tell God what you want and He will be sure you get it”. There’s nothing in this life that can come close to the eternal life we have with Jesus. That’s where our riches need to be stored. If you’ve been blessed with money in this life, look around you and you’ll find brothers and sisters in Christ who have needs that you can help with. The kindness you show to fellow Christians in Christ’s name will be priceless when you step into eternity. If you aren’t so rich, you can share the Gospel with friends and family who haven’t yet come to salvation in Christ. Timothy was young, but was mentored by Paul, who encouraged him to stick to Scripture. “O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called; which some professing have erred concerning the faith. Grace be with thee. Amen.” 1 Tomothy 6:20-21. Here’s where many, many pastors fail. What is called “science” today is often opposed to Scripture. Scripture says. “In the beginning, God created the Heaven and the earth.” Genesis 1:1. That’s fact. Here’s the fiction: Billions (or trillions) of years ago nothing came together and created everything. Not only that, but “science” has proved itself wrong. The discovery of DNA should have sent those who believe evolution, into Bible study to learn facts. Instead, they keep adding millions of years to evolution and pretend they have the answers. It amazes me how “science” keeps changing their “facts” and people just keep believing their “…science falsely so called”. So-called “science” is also trying to convince us that males can really be females, and females can really be males (only males carry the Y chromosome). This is a delusion that will only get worse as schools conspire to push the agenda of brainwashing young children. Here’s the truth as Jesus told the Pharisees “But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female. For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother and cleave to his wife; and they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh.” Mark 10:6-8. What a mess this world is in because humans are trying to corrupt God’s creation and deny His existence. There are consequences to everything we do. Some are good, but some are bad. Sin brings bad consequences. “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 6:23. Adam found out the hard way that disobedience to God brings death. His sin had huge consequences. Not only did it ruin his life., but it has affected every human being since then. God-breathed Scripture is very clear in telling us the consequences of sin. It’s death. That’s pretty blunt, and leaves no “wiggle room”. Unfortunately, people keep on sinning. Do they not believe God? Do they think they are “special” and exempt from the wages of sin? You have to be very stubborn to deny God. Trees just didn’t happen. Flowers didn’t just happen. Dogs and cats didn’t just happen. God created everything. We understand that a painting doesn’t just pop into existence, but someone had to paint it, but we think that the amazing things in this world just happened. That is a strong delusion. Believing this fairytale has consequences. “Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.” Romans 1:21-23. God will not be mocked. Don’t worship the earth or make idols of any created thing. The wages of the sin of rejecting God as the Creator is seen all around us. Even in Christian congregations. “Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.” Romans 1:24-25. God doesn’t want anybody to face eternal death, but if a person insists upon believing lies and rejecting the God of all creation, then they have chosen their own punishment for their choices. As a society, we have chosen to reject God, and have to pay the penalty. “For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.” Romans 1:26-27. God will always forgive the truly repentant person, but if you continue to reject Him and embrace sin, your wages are death. You have to remember that God has given Scripture to teach us what He considers sin and how to turn from it. “And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Without understanding, convenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:” Romans 1:28-31. That’s quite a list. Remember, these people are those who mocked and denied God, so why shouldn’t He turn them over to the wages of their own choices? You may smugly think that you don’t join in with the homosexual community, so you don’t have to worry about the wages of that sin. Think again. Do you happen to be a liberal “Christian” who thinks Scripture should be changed to keep up with modern times? Do you think it’s more important to be politically correct than Biblically correct? Are you so afraid of being accused of being judgmental that you invite those who embrace the homosexual agenda to be a part of your denomination? “Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.” Romans 1:32. Remember the judgment which God poured out on Sodom and Gomorrah? Brothers and sisters, we must stand firm upon God’s truth. Scripture will never change because God never changes. If you choose to stand firm on God’s truth and against the way of the world, you will face persecution. Generations of strong Christians have faced persecution and were thrown to lions, boiled in oil, beheaded, and much more heinous means of torcher. These martyrs are the true heroes of history. They put God above their own security. “If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.” John 15:18. The world still hates Jesus, and more and more it seems as if “Christians” hate Him too. It might cost you a lot in order to reject worldly ways and follow Jesus. Friends and even family will make fun of you and may not want to be around you. “If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.” John 15:19. It’s Satan who is the ruler of this world, so if you follow worldly ways, you follow Satan. Don’t be a fool. Follow Jesus. There is hope. Faith in Jesus Christ brings salvation. You must repent of your sin. Truly repent and turn from the sin that separates you from God. Remember religion won’t save you. You can say all the hail Mary’s you want, but salvation comes by no other means than faith in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. No matter what denomination you belong to, you cannot be saved by sitting in a pew or just by being baptized. You must understand that you are a sinner and only Christ can save you. “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” Acts 4:12. So many of us are yearning for the Rapture, and it will happen soon. Why does God wait? Well, He may be waiting for you to come to saving faith “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” 2 Peter 3:9. Turn to Him now. Whatever lifestyle you embrace now, repent, turn from your sin, and put your faith in Jesus. No sin is too big that Jesus won’t forgive you. The decision must be made on this side of Heaven. If you wait, death or the Rapture could happen at any moment which will leave you to face Hell on Earth. Daily Jot: UN support of Hamas against Israel - Bill Wilson – www.dailyjot.com Against the backdrop of the United Nations Human Rights Council calling for Israel to be held accountable for war crimes against humanity in Gaza, and the International Criminal Court seeking arrest warrants for Israeli officials accused of war crimes, the United Nations is aiding and abetting Hamas terrorists. The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) is willfully ignoring Hamas use of UN schools and facilities as a shield and operational quarters against Israeli Defense Forces. Despite documented evidence of this terrorist support, UNRWA insists that this is misinformation and that it knows nothing about the claims. In downplaying the claims, UNRWA states: “UNRWA has more than 30,000 staff across the region, including 13,000 in Gaza, the majority of them Palestinian. UNRWA takes seriously its responsibility to ensure that its operations and staff adhere to UN values and core humanitarian principles.” One can only assume then, that the UN’s values and core humanitarian principles include supporting Hamas terrorists over Israeli defense against the terrorism. Evidence enough is how the UN is holding Israel accountable for war crimes against humanity in Gaza while turning a blind eye to its own UN agency housing of Hamas terrorist, Hamas using children as human shields, Hamas using UN buildings as operational quarters storing weapons and linking them through tunnels to the Hamas infrastructure. Recent case in point: On May 6 and 7, the IDF announced that it had killed Hamas terrorists at two UN “schools” in Gaza. In a statement IDF said, “Earlier today (Friday), the Israeli Air Force with the direction of IDF intelligence and the ISA, targeted Hamas terrorists operating from a container inside the grounds of the ‘Asmaa’ UNRWA school in Shati, Gaza. The container was used as a Hamas Operations Cell and a meeting point for Hamas operatives. Hamas terrorists inside the Operations Cell who were planning imminent attacks were eliminated. Hamas terrorists carried out terror attacks from the U.N. school premises while using it as a shield for their terror activities. Prior to the strike, many steps were taken to mitigate civilian harm. The strike was carried out using precise munitions, leading to a precise strike on the terrorists.” IDF added, “The Hamas terror organization systematically, intentionally and strategically places its infrastructure and operates from within civilian areas, in full violation of international law and while putting the lives of Gazan civilians at risk.” Israel has clearly documented Hamas atrocities and the IDF response since the October 7, 2023 brutal attack on Israeli men, women and children. Yet, the UN and, quite frankly, much of the world, says Israel is committing war crimes against humanity. In the US, universities, students, actors, the LGBTQ+ community, and others are supporting the barbaric Hamas terrorists. Isaiah 5:20 says, “Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!” The US should defund the UN and boot it out. What a joy it was to pray. You never knew that you could talk to God, and you realized that you could call on Him wherever you were, no matter what you were facing. Prayer was a privilege, and you utilized it. Then there was the Bible, the user’s manual of life. You finally had the Book that told you how to live your life, what your priorities ought to be, and how to be a good husband, a good wife, and a good parent. And most importantly, it told you how to get to Heaven. And church? You couldn’t wait to get to church. You would go to a weekend service and a midweek service and listen to Bible teaching on the radio. You read Christian books. You couldn’t get enough in your life. Sharing your faith was easy for you. It was the overflow of your Christ-filled life, and you were always looking for opportunities to talk to someone about Jesus. But things have changed. You still study the Bible, but not as much as you used to. You still pray, but it’s a quick prayer here and there. Sure, you go to church. In fact, you sit in the same place every week, and no one had better try to take your seat. However, if the preacher goes over his allotted time, you’re not happy. And you sometimes have to leave early to beat the traffic. You share your faith—once in a while. But instead of having a conversation with someone about Christ, you feel that others should simply look at your example as a follower of Jesus. Here’s the question: Have you left your first love? Jesus said to the church of Ephesus, “Look how far you have fallen! Turn back to me and do the works you did at first” (Revelation 2:5 NLT). Does this mean that leaving your first love is falling spiritually? Yes, it does, because it can lead to worse things. A classic example of this is King David. The Bible describes him as “a man after [God’s] own heart (1 Samuel 13:14 NLT) and “the sweet psalmist of Israel” (2 Samuel 23:1 NLT). But he also was an adulterer and, in effect, a murderer. David didn’t start that way. When the Bible first introduces us to him, he is a young boy watching his flock of sheep and writing love songs to the Lord. But fast forward a number of years, and David is kicking back at a time when kings would lead their troops into battle. We don’t read of him writing beautiful psalms or singing to the Lord. We don’t see his tender heart. He left his first love, and as a result, his life was a mess. It all fell apart for him. Have you left your first love? It can happen so easily. Get back to your first love for Jesus Christ. Love Him with all your heart, soul, and mind.
