The Reprobate Delusion of the ‘Palestine’ Supporter – By Robert Gottselig - https://harbingersdaily.com/the-reprobate-delusion-of-the-palestine-supporter/
Last week, I discussed how those who hate the Jewish State consistently accuse Israel of actions they themselves commit or desire to commit. These anti-Israel claims line up precisely with what we read in Isaiah 5:20 when God says, “Woe unto those that call evil good and good evil.” I’m amazed at how the world stands alongside Hamas instead of Israel. As I have said before, if the world can’t see the stark difference, they must have been handed over to a reprobate mind that is incapable of thinking clearly. Such was the case last week when Palestine Solidarity in Regina organized a lecture at the city’s downtown public library film theater. As I previously reported, the event was canceled after Israel-loving individuals, myself included, voiced our concerns. Unfortunately, the Israel-bashing night was back on the schedule shortly after. As I attended the event, the theater was packed, with only room for those standing. From the applause of the people there for Jeet Heer, the keynote speaker, it was evident that they were not there to support Israel. Throughout Jeet’s almost hour-long lecture, Israel was referred to as colonizers committing genocide and ethnic cleansing of the land. He likened Israel to an old-fashioned colonial settlement similar to the old West, with Israeli forces everywhere holding guns. Well, I say, thank goodness for the Israeli forces keeping the peace. We need law and order in our countries. Heer also insisted that Israel has become a selling and testing ground for US weapons. Of course, throughout the entire evening, he received many rounds of applause with some laughter at his light humor. None of that surprised me. I was taken aback by the fact that the demographic majority was not Palestinians. Jeer opened up the event at the end for a Q&A, which I was thankful for because I was able to make a few points followed by a question: [You say Israel is] colonialist, they are committing genocide, but geopolitically, Israel has a right to the land because the Belford Declaration of 1917 became international law in 1920 in San Remo… Then, the UN, as you know, partitioned the land in 1947. So, internationally speaking, they have a right to the land—certainly historically. Everywhere we look today, where they stick a shovel in the ground, you find archaeological evidence to support that the Jewish people were there. In fact, even though the diaspora happened in 70 through 135 AD there was always a Jewish presence there in Hebron, Jerusalem, Safed, and Tiberias… Also, Biblically—of course, I’m a Christian here—but biblically, God said He would scatter them, and that’s why we see the Jewish people scattered today. But He also said He would regather them in the latter days, and that’s what we see today, and He would rebuild their waste cities. My question is very simply: what do you make of the mantra “From The River To The Sea, Palestine Will Be Free”? Because that means no Jews allowed in that land. Do you acknowledge a Jewish presence? It’s pretty sad that the majority of the people could care less about what I said. When the point about the Bible was brought up, it was mocked with ease. Again, I wasn’t surprised, but I was saddened by such ignorance. He never really answered my main question. Do the Jewish people not have a right to the land of Israel? The mantra “From The River To The Sea” says no Israel, and, therefore, no Jew allowed. People chimed in with their displeasure to my question. But what else could that mantra mean? Show me anywhere on an Arab map where Israel and so-called Palestine are shown together. You won’t find it. This mantra calls for Israel’s destruction, and ultimately, that means the destruction of the Jewish people—plain and simple. On May 14th of this year, I joined the Jewish Community for a flag-raising ceremony at City Hall, where they raised the Israeli flag in honor of Israel’s rebirth as a nation in 1948. It was wonderful to be there with my Jewish friends. We sang Hatikvah, Israel’s national anthem, together as the flag was raised on high. It was not long, however, before protesters came by with their Palestinian flags, demanding that the city take down Israel’s flag. This small group of people rallied their troops to challenge the city about raising the flag of a country they falsely claim is “committing genocide.” That small voice resonated loud enough to have the city debate whether they should continue to raise the Israel flag every year. While I haven’t heard the outcome of that debate, I hope that the city doesn’t fall into the pure nonsense that Israel is “committing genocide.” What can we take away from all this? We need to be involved, especially those of us who love Israel and the Jewish people. We must stand up, put our beliefs into action, and speak out every opportunity we get against anti-zionism—which is anti-Semitism. If we don’t, we are no better than those in Nazi Germany who remained silent. You’re wrong if you think your voice can’t make a difference. Together, we can get the word out to more people. I believe that one of the greatest ways that we can get involved is by reaching out to those in authority—our city counselors, our mayor, our MLAs, our premiere. Attend Israel rallies. Show the Jewish people you care. Reach out to them. Go to the synagogue and say, “We’re here as Bible Believers to stand alongside Israel and the Jewish people. In us, you have a true friend.” Don’t be on the sidelines because your silence is deafening! Erwin Lutzer told an impactful story in his book “Hitler’s Cross” about a Christian man living in Nazi Germany: I lived in Germany during the Nazi Holocaust. I considered myself a Christian. We heard stories of what was happening to the Jews, but we tried to distance ourselves from it. Because what could anyone do to stop it? A railroad track ran behind our small church, and each Sunday morning we could hear the whistle in the distance and then the wheels coming over the tracks. We became disturbed when we heard the cries coming from the train as it passed by. We realized that it was carrying Jews like cattle in the cars. Week after week, the whistle would blow. We dreaded to hear the sound of those wheels because we knew that when we would hear the cries of the Jews en route to a death camp, their screams tormented us. We knew the time the train was coming, and when we heard the whistle blower, we began singing hymns. By the time the train came past our church, we were singing at the top of our voices. If we heard the screams, we sang more loudly. And soon we heard them no more. Years have passed and no one talks about it anymore. But I still hear that train whistle in my sleep. God forgive me. Forgive all of us who called ourselves Christians yet did nothing to intervene. Get involved, friends. Let’s stand, love, and support Israel and the Jewish people. End Times and Israel: How ‘God’s Covenant With the Jewish People,’ Eschatology Shape Evangelical Thought Amid Gaza Chaos - By Billy Hallowell - https://www.faithwire.com/2024/07/03/end-times-and-israel-how-gods-covenant-with-the-jewish-people-eschatology-shape-evangelical-thought-amid-gaza-chaos/ Evangelical support for Israel has remained unchanged amid the ongoing Israel-Hamas war in Gaza, according to a recent survey. Researchers found the belief that “God’s covenant with the Jewish people remains intact today” serves as the greatest impact on support for the Jewish state. “If a respondent professes this belief, the likelihood that this person strongly supports Israel increases almost threefold (180%),” reads a press release from researchers behind the study. Dr. Motti Inbari, a professor of Jewish studies at UNC Pembroke, and Dr. Kirill Bumin, associate dean of Metropolitan College and director of Boston University Summer Term Programs, explained to CBN News what they found most stunning about the latest data. “We’ve been doing this research for quite some time,” Bumin said. “And one of the things that I find particularly interesting is the degree to which the attitudes that we see in the Christian community are crystallized or rigid.” He continued, “We have seen relatively little change in attitudes towards support for Israel, support for Palestinians, or support for neither from 2021 onward.” Bumin said this persists even after the Oct. 7 attack and subsequent war broke out. Another factor of interest was generational differences the researchers observed among young evangelicals, who have been found to be less supportive — particularly those under the age of 20 — of Israel. “[This is the case] even after we take into account their religious attendance, their specific religious beliefs, political beliefs, socialization in pro-Israel circles,” Bumin said. “There’s definitely something very distinct about the under-30 crowd, especially in comparison to the 50 to 64-year-old respondents who are even more supportive of Israel than the 65-plus crowd.” Inbari said the younger generation has more access to information on social media and other platforms — tools older generations aren’t as accustomed to. He said these platforms, by design, create an echo chamber dynamic as people are primarily served only the content they want to see and hear. “You’re in … your own mindset [and] you’re not exposed to other views,” he said. “And this creates a lot of polarization also as a result. … Another aspect is that it’s very visual. You can see things that, back when I was younger, in that age, when I was opening the newspaper, I was reading. Now, they see. They don’t read; they see. It creates a different effect.” As for evangelical support more generally, Bumin said an embrace of the biblical narrative, particularly the Abrahamic covenant, is “exceptionally important” to explain why evangelicals have such a positive view of Israel. “Support for Abrahamic covenant — this notion that God’s covenant with the Jewish people is intact and eternal and that, as a result of Gentiles supporting Abrahamic covenant, that there are blessings for the Gentiles to be had … that aspect has repeatedly received support, not only in the evangelical community, but indeed across all Christian denominations … that we have studied,” he said. “In fact, in our 2024 survey, that is the No. 1 most impactful variable that we’ve considered in terms of relative impact on people’s attitudes … in terms of support for Israel.” The theological elements don’t end there, though, as Bumin also cited evangelicals’ views on the end times, particularly premillennialism. According to GotQuestions.org, premillennialism is the “view that Christ’s second coming will occur prior to His millennial kingdom, and that the millennial kingdom is a literal 1,000-year reign of Christ on earth.” Bumin said premillennialism offers a “very clear-cut picture” of the role of the Jewish people and Israel in the end of days, with Jerusalem taking center stage. This theological construct, he said, helps consistently affirm support for Israel, especially in this context. “We also find for evangelicals again and again that ascribing to a particular theology or theological view related to end times known as premillennialism has been really important,” Bumin continued. “There are a lot of different elements to these millennial views. There’s a premillennialism, post-millennialism, amillennialism, but the most important aspect in terms of these views for us is the relationship to the Jewish people and Israel in the end times.” Inbari noted that younger evangelicals are much less inclined to take a premillennial view, showcasing how this might impact the aforementioned decreased support they show for the Jewish state. “It’s another way to explain why young evangelicals are drifting away from supporting Israel,” he said. “It’s part of the eschatological view that is part of that mix as well.” Inbari and Bumin also spoke about the current war in Gaza and its relation to views on Israel and Palestine. The New World Leader is a man referred to as the Beast in Revelation. The NWL shows up out of nowhere immediately after the Rapture and orchestrates a peace treaty between Israel and 10 nations for seven years. This New World Leader appears to die at the midpoint of the 7-year Tribulation from a fatal head wound. I saw one of his heads as if it had been slain, and his fatal wound was healed. And the whole earth was amazed and followed after the beast; Rev. 13:3 The Antichrist, or false-Christ, shows up halfway through the Tribulation when Satan is thrown to the Earth. Since Satan is a spirit being, he will need a body, so he takes over the slain body of the New World Leader. The New World Leader will have lain dead for three days for the world to see. So when he rises from the dead, indwelled by Satan, he will claim to be the true Messiah, thus becoming the false Messiah. He will then kill the two witnesses and the people of earth will rejoice. And their dead bodies will lie in the street of a great city [Jerusalem]. Those from the peoples and tribes and tongues and nations will look at their dead bodies for three and a half days, and will not permit their dead bodies to be laid in a tomb. And those who dwell on the earth will rejoice over them and celebrate; and they will send gifts to one another, because these two prophets tormented those who dwell on the earth. Rev.11:8-10 There has always been great speculation as to who will be the New World Leader, the forerunner of the Antichrist. A recent hypothesis that's been making the rounds on social media is that Barack Obama will be the New World Leader. CLICK HERE to watch what they suggest about Obama, but watch just the three minutes between the 6-minute and 9-minute mark. The video has major flaws, but it does correctly explain that one of the characteristics of the Antichrist is that he's a homosexual. He will show no regard for the gods of his fathers or for the desire of women, nor will he show regard for any other god; for he will magnify himself above them all. But instead he will honor a god of fortresses, a god whom his fathers did not know; Dan. 11:37-38a It has long been rumored that Obama is homosexual. And there is evidence that would lend credibility to that hypothesis. But the most interesting connection that the video claims is how Obama got his name. At one time Obama was Barry Soetoro. No comment on the "Foreign Student" ID card. Somewhere along the line Barry Soetoro changed his name to Barack Hussein Obama. The video, in a stretch, connects his new name to scripture. They use this verse as their proof-text: And He (Jesus) said to them, “I was watching Satan fall from heaven like lightning." Luke 10:18 The video claims that when translated into Hebrew/Aramaic, Jesus would have said Satan will "...fall from heaven like Barack Obama." Close, but no cigar. The Hebrew word for “lightning” is “baraq.” It does sound like "Barack." The Hebrew word for “high place” is “bamah.” But "heaven" is a different word. In Hebrew, “Waw" is used as a conjunction, but never "o." So the video is inaccurate and misleading at best. And there are other reasons the Antichrist is not likely to be Obama. A characteristic of the New World leader is that he will be a great military genius. Obama is no military genius. He didn’t even know how to pronounce “military corps.” And the best reason is the Bible says we will not know who the AC is until he is revealed AFTER the Rapture. … with regard to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, (the Rapture) 2Th. 2:1b Let no one in any way deceive you, for it (the Day of the Lord) will not come unless the apostasy (the Rapture) comes first, and the man of lawlessness (the New World Leader) is revealed, the son of destruction, 2Th. 2:3 For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains (God’s Holy Spirit) will do so until He is taken out of the way (VIA the Rapture). Then that lawless one will be revealed whom the Lord will slay with the breath of His mouth and bring to an end by the appearance of His coming; 2Th. 2:7-8 Clearly, we won’t know who the New World Leader will be prior to the Rapture, and all speculation is fruitless. How Do You Witness? - Nathele Graham - [email protected] Every Christian has a testimony, and we should share what Christ has done in our life. How do you go about witnessing? That’s a very good question. Each of us has strengths and weaknesses and if we turn all of them over to God, He will show us how to serve Him. Many Christians wear t-shirts with Bible verses on them, or phrases pointing to Jesus. This is a good way to make it known that you are a Christian. It also draws attention to your words and actions. Do you wear a Christian t-shirt but pepper your words with foul language or gossip? What kind of witness is that? If you love Jesus, you’ll let His love show through your “conversation” (way of life). Maybe you have a bumper sticker that says “I love Jesus”, but you display road rage if someone cuts you off or tailgates. That isn’t being a good witness. My daughter works in a retail store and every so often an elderly man comes into the store and strikes up a quiet conversation about Jesus. He ends by handing her a small tract and inviting her to attend church service. We would go but it’s many miles from where we live. How ever you’re led to witness, be sure you glorify Jesus. There are many ways to witness for Christ, but you always need to have answers to questions people may ask. “But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts; and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear; Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ.” 1 Peter 3:15-16. The word “conversation” is how King James translated the Greek word “anastrophe” which means the way you behave. Live your life in such a way that people can see Christ living in you. Then, be sure you are able to answer any questions they may have about Jesus. If you don’t have the answer, tell them you will get back to them. Then do some research. When my husband met Jesus, the change in him was very dramatic. He was a living witness to family and old friends. He studied Scripture and was able to answer questions easily. You can’t have answers unless you study Scripture. Study in context and take all of Scripture into account. It's also possible to be a poor witness for Christ. I bowl on a league and there’s a man who is a Christian. He is one who can easily work Jesus into a conversation. He also has a temper and gets angry with fellow Christians if they unwittingly offend him. He talks the talk but doesn’t walk the walk. Then there are those who don’t witness for Jesus, but push their own agenda. This happened to me this past weekend. My daughter and I make items and sell them at craft sales (I keep tracts on my table to hand out). We were set up next to a Christian group who were handing out supposedly Christian information. One of the ladies came over and began talking at me. I say “at” because she had no intention of listening or finding out what I believed. Her group had, what my husband called a “one verse theology” and that was all she cared about. Her enthusiasm was good to see, but not once did she mention Christ or salvation, repentance, or being born again. By the time she went back to her booth, I was not at all happy. Always remember that our faith is based upon Christ and it’s all about what He did for us upon that cross. He shed His blood as the final sacrifice for sin. “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9. Works should be a result of our faith, but those works should all glorify Christ. The Apostle Paul was a man who was changed by his encounter with Christ. Paul was a Pharisee and knew the law forwards and backwards. When he met Christ, his whole life was turned around. He fully understood the Gospel and that only faith in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus can bring salvation. “For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:” 1 Corinthians 15:3-4. Any “gospel” other than this is not the Gospel at all. If the doctrine you follow is “Faith and (fill in the blank with anything)”, then your faith isn’t in Christ; it’s in man’s ideas and work. Paul understood that when we witness for Christ, that witness must be about Christ, not false doctrine. The Christians in Corinth were trying hard to be “seeker friendly” and were very worldly. Paul wrote “And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God. For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.” 1 Corinthians 2:1-2. This is how witnessing should be done. Share Christ, and Him crucified. Why was He crucified? If you don’t know, you better find out. You may be a great orator or someone who has trouble organizing thoughts, but either way, make your witness about Christ. Witnessing is a very important part of our Christian life. It’s important that we share the Gospel, not our own agenda. When we try to put our own spin on Scripture or water it down to make sin seem not so bad, we have compromised the Gospel. The main subject of our witness must be Christ. Sin separates us from God, but repenting and placing our faith in Christ brings salvation. Some say that nothing in our life needs to change once we accept Christ. It’s true that we cannot work to earn our salvation, but Jesus told Nicodemus to be born again. “Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” John 3:3. That means we need to change. We can’t hold on to our favorite sin, and still claim to have repented and placed faith in Jesus. We must be born again. Does that mean we are perfect? No, but our faith should bring responsibility and gratitude to Jesus for what He did. We must repent of our sin…change our mind about it and turn from it. If I’m a Christian, can I lie? Can I cuss? Can I be sexually promiscuous? Technically, yes, but why would you want to mock Jesus and continue to be identified with the world? That is a very poor witness for Christ. He died for our sin, not so we can continue sinning, but that we be free from the eternal result of sin. Remember that sin has wages…eternal death. “This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind, having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart: who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.” Ephesians 4:17-19. When you witness, be sure you point out that sin separates us from God and we must repent and allow Christ to change us. “That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; and be renewed in the spirit of your mind; and that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.” Ephesians 4:22-24. Paul wrote these words to encourage the readers to let Christ rule their life instead of Satan. Paul does not promote works, just gratitude. “Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another. Be ye angry and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: Neither give place to the devil. Let him that stole steal no more; but rather let him labour, working with his hands the things which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth. Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.” Ephesians 4:25-29. Our behavior does matter. We must honor God with our life. None of us are perfect, but we can’t let that stop us from witnessing to others. I get very disappointed in myself when I am not as “good” as I should be. Thank God for His grace and mercy. Our salvation is secure even when we goof. Still, we need to try to live for Him. “And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. Let all bitterness and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: and be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.” Ephesians 4:30-32. Can I witness even if I’m not perfect? Yes, we are all a work in progress, and we can use our failures to show God’s love and mercy. If you want to learn to witness effectively, study Scripture. Learn how Jesus interacted with people and study how the Apostles shared the Gospel. You’ll find that they were direct and that Jesus was the focus. Daily Jot: Our heritage and our freedom - Bill Wilson – www.dailyjot.com Blessings to America and her sons and daughters on this day; the celebration of our nation. But the nation we know and love as America, The United States of America, really began in the early 1600’s when settlers came from other countries, mainly England, on an adventure that spawned the beacon of freedom and the light of Jesus Christ for the world. The Mayflower Compact, which many believe today to be the first significant governing document of what would become the United States was very specific about the covenant these men and women were entering into with God for this new land. The Mayflower Compact of 1620 reads: “IN THE NAME OF GOD, AMEN. We, whose names are underwritten, the Loyal Subjects of our dread Sovereign Lord King James, by the Grace of God, of Great Britain, France, and Ireland, King, Defender of the Faith, &c. Having undertaken for the Glory of God, and Advancement of the Christian Faith, and the Honor of our King and Country, a Voyage to plant the first Colony in the northern Parts of Virginia; Do by these Presents, solemnly and mutually, in the Presence of God and one another, covenant and combine ourselves together into a civil Body Politick, for our better Ordering and Preservation, and Furtherance of the Ends aforesaid.” Some 18 years later, The Fundamental Orders of 1638, were adopted in Connecticut. Its preamble says, “For as much as it hath pleased Almighty God…knowing where a people are gathered together the word of God requires that to maintain the peace and union of such a people there should be an orderly and decent Government established according to God, to order and dispose of the affairs of the people at all seasons as occasion shall require; … to maintain and preserve the liberty and purity of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus … which according to the truth of the said Gospel is now practiced amongst us; as also in our civil affairs to be guided and governed according to such Laws, Rules, Orders and Decrees… These documents and many others like them dispel the lie that America is not a Christian nation. We allow freedom to all religions, because our God in Christ Jesus will not force Himself upon others, but rather allow them to come voluntarily. But the foundation of our nation must remain Christian otherwise we will not so long be a nation of freedom and justice. God’s sovereignty must be the rule of man. The Lord said in Jeremiah 34:15, “And you were now turned, and had done right in My sight, in proclaiming liberty every man to his neighbor; and you had made a covenant before me in the house which is called by my name.” Remember your heritage in order to keep your future. Daily Devotion: Have We Forgotten? - by Greg Laurie – www.harvest.org The wicked will go down to the grave. This is the fate of all the nations who ignore God. —Psalm 9:17 https://harvest.org/resources/devotion/have-we-forgotten/ - Listen In the immediate aftermath of the unthinkable 9/11 attacks, we saw a dramatic return to faith on the part of many Americans. People were holding prayer meetings on street corners and gathering in neighborhoods to hold vigils. Members of Congress stood on the steps of the US Capitol building and spontaneously sang “God Bless America.” On the Sunday following 9/11, Americans packed their local churches. People were trying to make sense of it, and they were turning to God for answers. There also was great concern that terrorists would attack again. So we prayed. But things didn’t stay that way for very long. Interestingly, just ten years later during a 9/11 commemoration ceremony at Ground Zero, not a single person offered a prayer. Not a single pastor or minister of any kind gave thanks to God for His protection and mercy since then. Have we forgotten that God came through for us? Yes, we want to thank God for our security and our experts who do their best to protect our nation. But we also have to acknowledge God’s mercy. At the same time, it raises a question: When will America wake up to its spiritual need? The answer is not a political one. We’re in a political cycle now, and there’s a lot of talk about who will occupy the White House for the next four years. As Christians, we should register, vote, and find political candidates who represent a biblical worldview as much as possible. But at the same time, we must understand that no congressman or congresswoman, no senator, and no president can turn our country around. Not a single person can. It is not a political answer that America needs. It is a spiritual one. And the only real answer is a spiritual awakening. A spiritual revival must sweep America. God initially gave the following words to the nation of Israel, but they apply to our nation as well: “Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land” (2 Chronicles 7:14 NLT). We want God to heal our land. All too often, we’re more focused on who is in the White House than what’s going on in God’s house. When God looked at a nation that was having problems, He pointed His finger at His people and said, “If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face . . .” So often, as Christians, we’re quick to point out all the problems in our culture. But God is saying, “You know, I have been looking at you—you who are called by My name, you who are part of the body of Christ, you who are in the church. And the question is this: Are you experiencing spiritual revival?” If we as God’s people want to turn a nation around, then we need to live as we should. What on earth are you doing for Heaven's Sake? "Share in the Blessings and Rewards that will last Forever!" "Folks, it's all beginning to unravel. America is in more danger of falling than at any time in its history. But I believe Bible prophecy predicts this very decline. From this point on, we believers have to get serious. We are going to face discouragement, disillusionment and, most certainly, persecution in the time between now and the Rapture. But don't be discouraged or disillusioned. The coming turmoil will provide us unrivaled opportunities to share the good news of the Gospel. So be ready to share your faith and your hope with those who need Christ. We still have time to reap a great harvest of souls for God's kingdom!" - Hal Lindsey 1) We need your prayers!- We proclaim the Truth of the Word of God and we are under constant spiritual and sometimes even physical attack. 2) We need your encouragement!- We need to hear from you, let us know how the Lord is blessing you through this ministry so that we can share it with others. 3) We need your input! - If you have a prophetic article or story or if there is a news related item we missed, let us know. 4) We need your financial support!- To put it quite simply, without your support, there would be no Prophecy Update. Our Prayer for You- "Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. You will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God. This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of God's people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God. Because of the service by which you have proved yourselves, men will praise God for the obedience that accompanies your confession of the gospel of Christ, and for your generosity in sharing with them and with everyone else." 2 Corinthians 9:10-13 If you have been blessed by Prophecy Update and would like to help support this ministry financially.
