If you are like me, you wonder how much closer we can get to the start of the Tribulation before we meet Jesus in the air. When I wrote about nearness of the seal judgments (Revelation 6) a couple of years ago, I thought that by now, they surely would have at least begun. The globalists themselves seem frustrated at the lack of progress in implementing their agenda. The WEF (World Economic Forum) joined with the UN last fall in recommitting themselves to attaining all of the UN’s seventeen Sustainable Development Goals by 2030. They know something is holding back their diabolical plans to enslave the world under a totalitarian Marxist regime. We know it’s the restraining force of the Holy Spirit (see 2 Thessalonians 2:3-8). The closer we get to the start of the Day of the Lord, the more we understand how the Rapture will serve as a catalyst to jumpstart many of the events we read about in the book of Revelation. I imagine an electronic jigsaw puzzle where all the other pieces light up after someone puts the last one in its proper place. In this case, it’s the Rapture. It’s the missing piece. We Are So Close It’s never been more apparent just how rapidly the world will descend into utter chaos following our disappearance. Paul described the antichrist as the “man of lawlessness” and wrote that “the mystery of lawlessness is already at work” (2 Thessalonians 2:3, 7). The increase of lawlessness in just the past ten years staggers the imagination. Who would have ever thought we would see a sign on the streets of San Francisco warning thieves they would face prosecution if they stole items exceeding $950 in total value? Major store chains in the U.S. report shoplifting in billions of dollars per year. Inflation in the U.S. is much higher than reported and hurting many, many people. Even so, it’s only by the Lord’s restraining hand that we have not yet reached the dire economic conditions described in Revelation 6:5-6. It’s clear that such astronomical inflation is right on our doorstep. I say this because of what I see in America:
I could cite much more evidence pointing to the nearness of all the judgments of Revelation chapter 6, but it’s time for good news. Suddenly If anything, the multiplicity of signs pointing to the nearness of the Tribulation reminds us that the Rapture and the judgments that follow it will happen suddenly. In the midst of writing about the Lord’s appearing to take us home, Paul addresses the abruptness to the start of the Day of the Lord in 1 Thessalonians 5:2-3: “For you yourselves are fully aware that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. While people are saying, ‘There is peace and security,’ then sudden destruction will come upon them as labor pains come upon a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.” This “day” will strike the unsuspecting world like a bolt of lightning, but not for us. In 1 Thessalonians 5:9-10, the Lord promises to come for us before the start of the Day of the Lord. The “wrath” mentioned in these verses refers to what happens during the Day of the Lord, not to hell. It will be a day just like today when we will instantly disappear. 1 Corinthians 15:52 tells us the Rapture will happen in the “twinkling of an eye,” which is quicker than a blink. Jesus’ direct intervention in the world will come without warning just as no one expects to discover a thief in their home in the middle of the night. In the book of Revelation, Jesus tells us four times that “I am coming quickly” (3:11, 22:7, 12, 20). The Greek word for “quickly” is tachu, which in some cases is translated “soon.” In these verses, however, it refers to suddenness of Jesus’ return for us. This is most definitely not a reference to the Second Coming, which will not happen with such abruptness. The events of Revelation 19:11-20:4 will likely occur over the course of several hours, if not several days. John earlier said that when Jesus comes “with the clouds … every eye will see him” (Revelation 1:7). The Rapture will happen before people have time to even blink, let alone witness it. As watchers, we are well aware of the dangers of setting a date for the Lord’s appearing. Whenever we mention the nearness of the Rapture, someone always seems to remind us of this. As we see the Tribulation rapidly approaching our world, however, would it not also be an equally serious mistake to assume that the Rapture will not happen today or this week, month, or year? I believe so. The New Testament closes with the word of the verses below, which include Jesus’ last recorded message to His church: “He who testifies to these things says, ‘Yes, I am coming quickly.’ Amen. Come, Lord Jesus. The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all. Amen” (Revelation 22:20-21) The closer we get to the start of the Day of the Lord, the clearer it becomes how the Rapture will unravel all pretenses of “peace and security” in the world, open the door for the seal judgments of Revelation 6 to occur, and lead to the appearing of the antichrist. I will outline only some of these. The regular readers of RaptureReady know Daymond Duck presents happenings quite regularly. I will only touch on these things now and again. I will begin with the United States. Though I am not a resident, I try to understand what happens in the USA, as the events are significant. One advantage I have is in being able to get news from the USA freely because it is not canceled or blocked, as is the case often with American residents because of your many left wing media outlets. I reject the idea that the USA will feature in the Tribulation, as some try to make out. The whole initial focus is on the Revived Roman Empire as the fourth kingdom from which the world ruler/Antichrist will come. America was never part of that. No one can make predictions, but I feel the UN and the WEF could be most significant for the emergence of this world ruler/Antichrist. There are none so blind as those who swear allegiance to a system as robotic slaves and who cannot think so as to see right from wrong. We call that “blindness” a delusion, even a deception. Blindness has ascended on the world from the pit and most of those who do not belong to Jesus walk in blindness, in increasing blindness in these days. To walk in blindness is to live in darkness. The people of the world are divided into light and darkness. Here is the quote Matthew used from the Old Testament – Matthew 4:16 “The people who were sitting in darkness saw a great light, and to those who were sitting in the land and shadow of death, upon them a light dawned.” The coming of the Lord in the first advent was a light dawning. The same will be true for the Second Advent, the coming in glory to end the world’s Tribulation darkness. We are in that darkness in the world, the children of light in the darkness. When Jesus was rejected and killed, darkness came even more upon the world (especially Israel), but in recent times, it has increased as hearts grow more wicked. Our Western nations had light in past revivals, but light rejected is darkness embraced, and it is the state of our nations, especially in those that had past encounters with the gospel but have now rejected the light. The condition of the White House is tragic. What is supposed to be the leadership of the free world is intense darkness. Some of the media is asking, “Who runs the White House?” It is that bad. The President is demented, physical and mental systems shutting down. Just today, a CNN doctor called for Biden to take a neurological test. They all know now he is with the fairies, as we say here. For ages, there was a great cover-up about Biden’s state, but the USA is starting to see that. A con job was done on the people from all the left-wing media to keep them in this intense darkness. Only Fox and Sky News Australia have been revealing the true state of affairs. The Democrats know it is essential that Biden be examined for cognitive assessment because if he can be declared as neurologically incapable, then they can appoint a Democrat name for the Presidential election in three of the states that can put no one else on the ballot if Biden just pulls out. Personally (right or wrong), I think in the next few short weeks, Biden will be replaced by Harris, the giggling feather brain. She will lose even worse to Trump. There is such ignorance with people now. They don’t know right from wrong; they have no concept of Christian things; they are candidates for hell. Socialism sends people to hell faster than any other system. Communism is the stronger degree of socialism. Let us move on. Great Britain has just had its elections, and there was a massive turning to the Labour Party. Labour in Britain is very left-wing; in other words, it is socialism, some of it Marxism. Conditions in Britain will proceed from bad to worse. There are places the police won’t touch because they are coming more and more under Islamic control. It has been my opinion for a long time that in the Tribulation, it will be a rule of socialism and/or Communism, so it is no surprise that we see the nations of Europe hardening that way. Australia is already Marxist to a stronger or weaker degree. The USA is moving that way, especially under the younger Democrats. Those of us who are older belong to a generation that knew freedom, particularly personal freedom. We know our lives are being squashed today into a socialist mold. We are dying out. The younger generation, whose minds are saturated with demonic contemporary music and are the victims of a corrupt education system, are the advocates of change; that is, socialism and abolition of religion. That means opposition also to Israel. All that indicates the closeness of the Tribulation. That means the closeness of the Rapture. The new Prime Minister is Sir Keir Stamer, and he has become the darling of the left-wing media just as Biden has been the darling of the same media in the USA. One of Britain’s problems is the increasing Islamic population. These people riot and protest against the British system of life, calling for its downfall. Does that happen in the USA? It certainly does in Australia. Just in this last week, Islamic mobs defaced the Australian war memorial and hung banners all over the icons of Parliament House. That is a hatred for Australian soldiers and veterans, but nothing is done against it by the Marxist Australian govt. These people get away with lawlessness. France is experiencing a whole breakdown of society. There is rioting and mayhem in France, caused by radical socialists following the first round of elections where a somewhat conservative national group had success (some call that “the far right”). This is a serious matter because the nation will become ungovernable. France is being run by riots. There is another word for that – anarchy! We are seeing the rise of modern Western anarchy. Black Lives Matter belongs to that, as do climate activists and Islamic mobs in Western nations. The radicals now try to determine policy and direction, and they are godless and hateful of Christians and Jews. Socialists worldwide now are militant. They march and riot under the banner of “social justice,” which means they want communist ideals; or black lives matter, which means they want to overthrow the existing system of democracy; or climate change, which means to institute a communist agenda on the West. Marine Le Penn is the politician who gained the initial support in France, but the left is calling on supporters to take up guns. Macron, the current President, is a left-wing politician. Macron’s government has 19 millionaires in the government and is largely based on support in Paris and support coming from the elite of France, with all the Provinces being neglected. The people have had enough, those who live in the Provinces. You remember the French Revolution when the great division existed – the rich elite under the king of France and the poor peasants – and there was an uprising. In Australia, the support of the socialist Labor Party is strong among the elite, the academics, and the rich. In the USA, a lot of the support for the socialist Democrats comes from the elite, the rich and the privileged, film stars, and big tech companies who like to reject Christian content and use censorship to cancel out some Christian videos from YouTube and other media (Google). It is all the same. Communism is very much alive, and today, it has become more violent to achieve its aim. Just side-tracking for a moment. There is increasing scrutiny against Christians, and we are being spied on to see what we watch. I am passing this on to you if you are interested. Google search is the worst. I use Duck Duck Go for searches and use Firefox, and very importantly, use Ad Blocker Ultimate, which is free and fantastic (you just download to Firefox or Windows or Safari preferences. I don’t know Windows – I am Mac. Doing that, I think, helps overall. IRAN. Did you know Iran is on the march in the Middle East? It is arming radical groups all over the Middle East, every one of which hates Israel. It threatens extermination of Israel. Xi of China wants to take over all of Asia and spread its influence all over with the Belt and Road initiative. China is also spreading its tentacles into the Middle East. It probably will continue to do so, as China most certainly will be part of the Kings of the East who come across as part of the Armageddon war against Israel on the eve of the Second Coming. Why is it that in Australia, the USA, Britain, and France, there is this new generation clamoring for the installation of extreme left-wing policies/Communism? Have you wondered why this is? The generation under 40 today is radical. In the British election, the videos of the election results with the new PM showed so many cheering young women. Why is it that the younger generation is becoming so radical? Those who read this and are my age (80) and even younger remember the great threat Communism was to the world and to our democracy in the 1950s, 60s, and 70s. We knew about it in schools and knew the atrocities of totalitarian Communism. We were educated in what this was all about. The media reinforced it. Why did it change? Well, people become materialistic and then complacent. They forgot about educating the following generation about the evils of Communism. Socialism began to rise, then radicals turned it into Communism, and people now clamor after it. The left-wing media sides with it. Hand in hand with the rise of extreme socialism is the fact that the Christian gospel is failing and is being legislated against. Men and women are hard in their hearts and reject and hate all Christian things. A godless generation will bring about its own destructive end. Putin is desirous of re-establishing a new Soviet Union. The man is satanic. North Korea is reported as sending one million soldiers to Russia. There is a very active axis of evil made up of Communism and Islam. How is this going to play out in the days ahead? Firstly, while the Lord tarries, socialism will gain ground because this is what will rule in the Tribulation along with drug-induced, false, satanic religion. Also, we will see more violence and hardening of resolve to implement Communism. So, what is happening? The world is preparing itself for the second horse, the red one. Revelation 6:3-4 “When He broke the second seal, I heard the second living creature saying, ‘Come,’ and another, a red horse, went out, and to him who sat on it, IT WAS GRANTED TO TAKE PEACE FROM THE EARTH, and that men should slay one another, and a great sword was given to him.” The great armaments race will burst forth as a collapsing dam. I do not believe nuclear weapons will be used. By the way, there has been a great influx of videos on YouTube pushing the idea of a close World War 3 and associated nuclear disasters. Is that an accident? No, I think it is strategic. The world is being prepared. Lots of movie releases in the past two decades on YouTube deal with apocalyptic themes, disasters, and warfare. These themes are gaining traction, for the real thing is coming, but the saints of God won’t be here – raptured! In the Revelation verses, it says, “it was granted to take peace from the earth,” and that is universal. This will not be some local skirmishes but worldwide conflicts. I do believe a lot of it will be civil wars and internal wars as well, involving Islam and radical groups and ethnic conflicts as we had in the breakup of the Yugoslavian Federation. The “great sword” means severe conflicts, and they will be widespread. There will be no peace on earth at all for this period. There will be a great loss of life. Those days are close, and the world is armed and waiting for it. The Lord described that time this way: Matthew 24:6-7 “You will be hearing of wars and rumours of wars. See that you are not frightened, for those things must take place, but that is not yet the end. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and in various places there will be famines and earthquakes.” It will be horrible for those on earth. Straight after those words about the coming wars, the Lord said this: Matthew 24:8 “But all these things are merely the beginning of birth pangs.” Labor pains are just beginning with the red horse. Can you imagine how bad the labor pains get after that? Well, Revelation describes the judgments that follow after, and it is horrific, but will people repent and turn to Messiah who is coming? Those whom God’s Word, in KJV, terms “the earth dwellers” acknowledge His existence only to mock and blame Him for the consequences of their own sinful inclination to destroy all they touch. Humankind, made in the image of Almighty God, their Creator, was given an immense ability to create. Yet the ultimate result of that creativity since the Fall in Eden has wrought the ability to decimate. The proof is the discovery and unleashing of the atom. We don’t have to think about the great nuclear powers with their arsenals of mega tonnage and pinpoint-missile capabilities to wage humanity’s final war. The world now hunkers under the fearful threat of the nuclear sword that might be swung by a half-crazed dictator in North Korea or in scimitar fashion by rogue terrorists everywhere we look within the Islamic world. What truly astonishes me is that the God of Heaven obviously has His mighty hand upon that potentially planet-ending sword–even with the hatred heaped on Him daily. As I often hear it expressed, if one of us who are sorely vexed in this increasingly wicked generation had our way, we would have already swung that proverbial sword ourselves. That sort of swashbuckling shortsightedness shows our fallen foolishness. It certainly doesn’t display the divine character of the Living God that indwells each of us who call Jesus Christ our Savior and Lord. We can only thank Him for being in complete charge. Our God’s divine character is indeed an awesome, majestic wonder to think upon. So, let’s do just that. We see His character at the very beginning of His love letter to humanity: And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day. (Genesis 1:31) The Creator said everything was “perfect”–God’s only definition for “good” in His holy lexicon. Soon, the serpent entered the garden, and that perfection was disrupted when Eve fell under Lucifer’s seduction and Adam ate the forbidden fruit, bringing sin and death. Now there was only God who was “good”: And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God. (Mark 10:18) Jesus is God, and He was speaking of the Triune Godhead. Humans, who were made in perfection, in God’s image, changed from the perfect creatures that walked in harmony with their Maker to fallen creatures that would soon shrivel, die, and return to the dust from which Adam was made. God’s holy character is unchanged all these millennia later. That character is clearly seen throughout His Word. Nothing shows just how unassailable the changeless personality of the Creator is more clearly than His prophetic promises. Bible prophecy thus takes on ever-deepening significance as we move toward the consummation of this age and the ultimate destiny of His creation. His character is all-important, in every respect imaginable. God’s divine character is inextricably tied to His prophetic promises. The ultimate promise relevant to sin-infected humankind is that God would send a Savior to redeem us. Prophecy goes on to say that human life–as well as all of God’s creation—will be returned to its pristine, pre-Fall condition–that is, all but the fallen ones, both human and angelic who do not have Christ as Redeemer. The human, unrepentant rebels have rejected God’s grace offer of salvation, and the angels who fell in the original rebellion gave up all rights to the presence of Almighty God, thus are unredeemable—lost forever. I propose that no prophetic issue more profoundly points to God’s character and prophecy being inalterably linked than the Rapture. This great event, scheduled next on God’s calendar of prophetic promises, is a salvation matter at its very core. The Rapture promises to keep us–saints of the Church Age, or Age of Grace—out of God’s wrath and judgment against the rebels who have rejected His Son, Jesus Christ (read Revelation 3:10). There is no greater point of faith in this regard, in my view, than to consider God’s embrace of children below the age of accountability. This age is known only to God. It is the age, or level of spiritual understanding, reached when people realize they must accept or reject Christ for redemption from sin. Until that point–with each individual it is different—each person’s name is written in the Lamb’s Book of Life. When the person understands and decides to accept Jesus for salvation, his or her name is written in permanently. If the decision is to reject, the name is blotted out, the Scripture says (Revelation 3:5), until he or she accepts Christ as Savior at some future time. When the person does this, his or her name will then be written in the Book of Life forever. This is all part of the divine character of God. He will let no person go into Hell, into judgment and wrath, separated from Him forever, without giving the opportunity to be saved from sin’s deadly ruin. Thus, the Rapture of children below the age of accountability is all-important in considering God’s prophetic promises. Each and every such child, even those just conceived and those growing in the womb, will instantly be in the presence of Jesus Christ at the moment of Rapture–just as they are if they die before reaching that age. I believe with all that is within me that, when the Rapture happens, God is going to make a thunderous statement about when life begins. He will let this rebellious world know in that instant His holy opinion about the murder of the unborn that has been conveniently termed “pro-choice.” Our individual walk with the Lord should reflect that godly character. He has restored us to be conformed to His image, to strive to be more like Jesus moment by moment. He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God? (Micah 6: 8). Our Heavenly Father expects our own character to reflect the glorious character of His Son. When we do our best to be guided by the Holy Spirit toward accomplishing this, on one eternal day, we will hear the words, “Well done, good, faithful servant.” A New Birth of Freedom - By Hal Lindsey - https://www.hallindsey.com/ww-7-14-2024/ During the US presidential campaign of 1960, John Kennedy would sometimes end his speeches with a particularly moving Abraham Lincoln quote. In Towson, Maryland, September 16th, Kennedy presented it like this. “During the campaign of 1860, Lincoln wrote to a friend, ‘I know there is a God and that He hates injustice. I see the storm coming and I know His hand is in it. If He has a place and a part for me, I believe that I am ready.’” Kennedy continued, “Now, 100 years later, we know there is a God and that He hates injustice, and we see the storm coming. But if He has a place and a part for us, I believe we are ready.” He used the quote again in Cleveland a few days later. This time after presenting the Lincoln quote, he made his point even more clear. “Now, 100 years later… the issue is not whether this Nation will exist half slave or half free, but whether the world will.” In those red-hot days of cold war, the slavery of communism encroached on more and more of the world. The liberal Democrat from Massachusetts made its defeat central to his presidential campaign. Like his Republican friend and political opponent, Richard Nixon, Kennedy had a long history of working against communism. You can take a cynical point of view and say, “In those days, it was just good politics to fight the commies.” Maybe so. But why then and not now? What changed? Why is communism with its godless rule of an elite few, taught unabashedly on American campuses? Why do the most capitalistic organizations on earth — American corporations — give obeyance as well as millions of dollars to organizations run by avowed Marxists? Why does our civilization careen toward servitude instead of liberty? Most thought communism was defeated with the fall of the Soviet Union. But today, it and other totalitarian ideologies are growing everywhere, especially in the United States. The answer boils down to a principle expressed in Proverbs 14:34. “Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.” When explaining the Constitution’s limits in keeping people free, John Adams said, “We have no government, armed with power, capable of contending with human passions, unbridled by morality and religion. Avarice, ambition, revenge and licentiousness would break the strongest cords of our Constitution, as a whale goes through a net.” Morality forms the basis of our freedom. A nation that rejects God and His Word, also rejects the dividends of virtue — one of which is liberty. Psalms 119:45 in the New Living Translation says, “I will walk in freedom, for I have devoted myself to your commandments.” 2 Corinthians 3:17 says, “Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.” Inner bondage to sin destroys societal freedoms. But “the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free” (Galatians 5:1) also extends outward — from individuals to the whole society. It brings with it the fruit of human liberty and human rights. In his Gettysburg Address, Lincoln spoke of being highly resolved that “this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom.” The key words here are, “under God.” May we who know God highly resolve once again to spread His Word. Over time, the freedom He brings to individuals adds rights and freedoms to entire nations. Daily Jot: Biden’s new old campaign standard - Bill Wilson – www.dailyjot.com On Sunday, July 14, Joe Biden addressed the nation with a blatantly political speech saying that the political rhetoric needed to cool down and that there was no place in America for political violence. He listed several violent incidents that Democrats are using in their campaigns—members of Congress being targeted, January 6 violent mob, the attack on Nancy Pelosi’s husband, information intimidation on election officials, the kidnapping plot against a sitting governor, and finally “an attempted assassination on Donald Trump.” Then he struck another chord in his campaign that he believes this election will shape the future of America for decades to come. All this reinforced his previous hate-filled rhetoric. There was no mention of violence against Republicans, save for the assassination attempt on Trump. There was no mention of his very own statements that dog-whistled violence against Trump. For example, on June 28, Biden posted on X: “Donald Trump is a genuine threat to this nation. He’s a threat to our freedom. He’s a threat to our democracy. He’s literally a threat to everything America stands for.” On Monday, July 8, Biden told Democrat donors, “It’s time to put Trump in the bullseye.” At a campaign rally in Detroit on July 12, Biden was railing on Trump as a “convicted criminal” at his rally in Detroit. He said, “No more! Donald, no more free passes. Today, we are going to shine a spotlight on Donald Trump…We are going to say who he is, what he intends to do. Folks, Donald Trump is a convicted criminal.” Just before Trump was shot, Biden posted on Facebook, “Americans want a President not a dictator.” All these comments have been echoed throughout the past ten years from the Democratic Party faithful and officeholders as well as the state-favored media outlets. Ongoing references to criminality, threat to democracy, Hitler, and so on. Repeatedly. Biden and the Democratic Party has used Democrats in the court system to eliminate Trump’s candidacy, to try to bankrupt him and to defile his name. The news media has amplified these actions and even in the day after the assassination attempt on Trump, the media downplayed it and outright blamed Trump for the shooting. That Biden said July 14 he ordered the Secret Service to provide Trump with every resource to protect his life is an indicator that the best protection was previously withheld Now Biden is saying that there’s no place for violence or harsh rhetoric in American politics. Biden’s address to the nation was no less a continuation of his campaign disguised as a call for peace and unity. It was disingenuous. The only campaign issue Biden has is his characterization of Trump because Biden’s record on every aspect of his presidency is dismal. Take that away and Biden has no campaign. While the rhetoric might be “cooled down” for a bit, Biden has not taken responsibility for his part in the hate-filled environment and his speech only struck his own campaign chords. His new standard is his old standard rephrased. Maybe the reason we don’t try to win people to Christ is because we really couldn’t care less. Now, that isn’t true of every Christian. But it is true of a lot of Christians. Jesus told a story about ten bridesmaids. Five were wise, and five were foolish. The five who were wise had oil in their lamps, and the five who were foolish did not. And when the cry went out that the bridegroom was coming, the five bridesmaids who didn’t have oil in their lamps asked the others for some. But the bridesmaids who had the oil said to them, “We don’t have enough for all of us. Go to a shop and buy some for yourselves” (Matthew 25:9 NLT). In other words, “It’s not our problem. We are set. We’re happy. Go work out your own problems.” That is the way many people in the church feel. We don’t want to be bothered with it. We just don’t care. We hear so much about the need for evangelism. We hear sermons on how to do it. And we engage in programs designed to mobilize the church to do it. But all this is of no consequence if we lack one simple essential: a burden and a concern for unbelievers. One of the most important things of all is motivation. We must have the motivation to share our faith. And if we don’t have the motivation, we are not going to do anything. So, do we really care? Do we really care about people who don’t know Christ? Do we really care if they go to Hell? Does it really matter to us? The great British preacher C. H. Spurgeon said, “The Holy Spirit will move them by first moving you. If you can rest without their being saved, they will rest too; but if you are filled with an agony for them, and if you cannot bear that they should be lost, you will soon find that they are uneasy too.” Everywhere Jesus went during His earthly ministry, He was mobbed by people who were pushing and pulling and always wanting something from Him. They wanted healings, like the woman who had spent all her money on doctors and still was sick. So many wanted a touch from the Savior. But Jesus saw their deepest need. He saw where they were hurting the most. He saw behind the facades, behind the defense mechanisms people put up. Jesus heard the real cry of their hearts. And He had compassion on them. Matthew 9:36 says, “When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them because they were confused and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd” (NLT). If we are going to be used by God in any capacity, we have to develop something called compassion. We have to care.
