We Live in a Corrupt World Filled with Violence When the disciples asked Jesus to describe the signs of His coming and the end of the age, He pointed to many signs. But one of the most often overlooked is the idea that when He returns, the world will be “like it was in the days of Noah” (Matthew 24:37-41). Does life today look anything like it did in the days of Noah? If so, we have yet another reason to expect the soon return of Jesus. So, what were those days like? We don’t need to guess. We know exactly what those days were like. Both the book of Genesis and Jesus Himself tell us. The World in the Days of Noah The Bible tells us that God looked upon the world in Noah’s day and saw corruption, violence, and wickedness (Genesis 6:11). In fact, humans were so wicked, they continuously thought of nothing but evil (Genesis 6:5). As in Noah’s day, the world today is filled with wickedness, corruption, and violence. And while we may not yet be to the point where every thought of mankind is continuous evil (we can’t know what’s in everyone’s mind), a look at what’s happening in our world shows we’re very close. For example, think of some of the degenerate and evil TV programs that invade people’s minds on a daily basis. Programs that portray murder, rape, torture, and sexual immorality of every kind. In fact, sometimes the commercials are worse than the shows. And that’s just television. When you think of all the other messages society assaults us with every minute of every day, how could our minds not be fixed on continual evil? Our world is also home to a constant flood of violence. Less than two weeks ago, we witnessed the attempted assassination of former U.S. president and current presidential frontrunner Donald Trump. While this was a high-profile act of violence, most shooting incidents go unmentioned. In fact, here are some of the headlines from my local area as of the day I’m writing this article (July 22, 2024). I’m sure if you visit your own local news sites, you’ll find something similar:
Even mass shootings are ubiquitous. I’ve lived my whole life in Virginia, growing up in the City of Chesapeake and attending college at James Madison University. And yet, four mass shootings have taken place in areas I’ve frequented in the past 1) On April 16, 2007, a mass shooting resulted in 32 people dead at Virginia Tech, a place I’ve regularly visited throughout my life. 2) On May 31, 2019, a mass shooting at Building 2 of the City of Virginia Beach Municipal Center resulted in 12 people dead. This is a building I once regularly visited as part of my work for a previous employer. 3) On November 13, 2022, a mass shooting resulted in three people dead at the University of Virginia. My wife and I were engaged on the steps of the Rotunda at UVA in 2005. 4) On November 23, 2022, a mass shooting resulted in six people dead at a Wal-Mart in Chesapeake – the city I grew up in. I had been to that Wal-Mart numerous times since the early 1990’s. Do I bring this up to draw attention to myself? Absolutely not. I find it hard to believe I’m alone in my connection to the locations of multiple mass shootings. I know I’m not. Unfortunately, you can probably cite similar examples in your own life, which just goes to show – we live in a world filled with violence. Why It Matters Why is all of this important? Because Jesus said these same conditions will be present in the time just before His return. We see them, and this is just one of many signs that indicate we live in the season of the Lord’s return. Do we see any other similarities between today’s world and pre-flood mankind? I believe we do, and combined with what we’ve discussed so far, we can know we live in a world that’s “as in the days of Noah.” Let’s look at three additional similarities between the world of Noah’s day and our world today: 1) The World Is Ignorant The overwhelming majority of people on earth today remain ignorant of the coming rapture of the church, the seven-year Tribulation, and God’s impending judgment. Noah and his family were the only ones who prepared for the flood. The Bible doesn’t tell us what everyone else’s reaction to Noah’s ark-building efforts were, but we can imagine his neighbors likely responded with mocking and ridicule. At the very least, they were indifferent. In a similar way, people today ridicule those who look forward to the rapture of the church and the glorious appearing of Jesus Christ. And the Bible tells us this is a sign of the last days. Almost 2,000 years ago, Peter warned us. He said, in the last days, people will mock the idea of Christ’s return. He claimed they would say exactly what we hear today: “Most importantly, I want to remind you that in the last days scoffers will come, mocking the truth and following their own desires. They will say, ‘What happened to the promise that Jesus is coming again? From before the times of our ancestors, everything has remained the same since the world was first created.'” (2 Peter 3:3-4). Most people today don’t know what’s in the Bible. They mock what they think is silly, just as they most likely ridiculed Noah for building a boat on dry land. In the days of Noah, people were unaware of the judgment about to take place. According to Jesus, they lived normal lives right up until the moment of their own destruction. They ate. They drank, and they hosted parties. The entire time, they remained ignorant of what was just around the corner. They were oblivious to the coming flood. Likewise, the people of our world remain ignorant of and oblivious to the rapture of the church and the coming judgment of the seven-year Tribulation. 2) We Know What’s Going to Happen Noah and his family knew the flood was coming, and they prepared themselves for it. How did they know? Because God told them. He directly told Noah He would destroy every living creature and wipe out everyone but Noah and his family (Genesis 6:13). Unlike the mockers, if you’ve studied the Bible (and, in particular, bible prophecy regarding end-times events), you know what’s coming – just as Noah knew the flood was coming. Why? Because God told you, just as He told Noah. He may not have verbally spoken to you, but His Word reveals everything you need to know. While the Bible says Jesus will come “like a thief in the night” (2 Peter 3:10) and “when least expected” (Matthew 24:44), it also says Christians will not be surprised. Here’s the full context of the passage (emphasis mine): “But you aren’t in the dark about these things, dear brothers and sisters, and you won’t be surprised when the day of the Lord comes like a thief. For you are all children of the light and of the day; we don’t belong to darkness and night. So be on your guard, not asleep like the others. Stay alert and be clearheaded” (1 Thessalonians 5:4-6). Those who are alert and watchful recognize the signs. While the rapture can occur at any moment, and we can never know the day or the hour of His return (Matthew 24:36), we do have the ability to recognize the general timeframe or “the season” of His return. After all, Jesus Himself said: “When you see these things occur, look up. For your salvation is near!” (Luke 21:28) Like Noah, we’ve been warned. We can see the signs, and we know His coming is near. 3) We Will Be Saved God saved Noah and his family. It wasn’t luck. God did it. Why? The Bible tells us because “Noah found favor with God” (Genesis 6:8). And the reason he found favor is because Noah was the only blameless person on earth – a man who walked in close fellowship with God (Genesis 6:9). But how was Noah “blameless?” After all, the Bible tells us no one is righteous, not one (Romans 3:10). Noah was no exception. While Noah was not perfect in the eyes of the law, He had great faith in God. This is evidenced by his work on the ark for over 100 years, and the Bible tells us Old Testament saints like Noah were justified by their faith. For example, Abraham was counted as righteous because he believed in and trusted in God (Galatians 3:6). So even though they lived and died before the crucifixion, the blood of Jesus still saved Abraham, Noah, and many others because of their faith. Because of Noah’s faith, God saved him from the flood. In similar fashion, if you put your faith and trust in Jesus Christ, not only will you receive eternal salvation, but you’ll be kept from the coming seven-year Tribulation. Why? Because the Tribulation will be a time of worldwide judgment (Revelation 6:15-17), and there is no judgment for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1). Jesus also makes this promise: “Because you have obeyed my command to persevere, I will protect you from the great time of testing that will come upon the whole world to test those who belong to this world” (Revelation 3:10). This is the rapture of the church, and it fits God’s pattern of past behavior. God spared Noah and his family from the flood (Genesis 6). He also brought Lot, his wife, and his two daughters out of Sodom and Gomorrah before He destroyed those cities (Genesis 19). Likewise, God will use the rapture to keep Christians from the Tribulation, just as He used the ark to keep Noah from the flood. Emerging and Converging Signs All the signs Jesus and the prophets said to look for are present in this generation. We see them emerging and converging. These signs include, but are not limited to:
Yet even with all these signs, the world continues on as if nothing is out of the ordinary. This is just how the people of Noah’s day acted before the flood arrived and swept them all away. Jesus said we should expect to see the same thing before His return. The fact we do is yet another sign He’s coming soon. Pinprick Acts of Aggression: Is China Testing the Waters for War? – By Mark Hitchcock - https://harbingersdaily.com/pinprick-acts-of-aggression-is-china-testing-the-waters-for-a-taiwan-invasion/ There are escalating attempts by China to push the envelope. In an interview with Fox News, President Trump’s new VP pick, JD Vance, voiced his belief that China is the “biggest threat” to the United States. Vance is a China Hawk and favors turning American attention away from Ukraine and back to the Pacific. Much of the focus in our country seems to be shifting toward China rather than toward other parts of the world. Shortly after the NATO meetings earlier this month, China and Russia jointly conducted live-fire naval exercises in the South China Sea. In recent days, Chinese troops have also been sent to Belarus, a nation where their close ally, Russia, has placed a nuclear arsenal. Taiwan’s Ministry of National Defense stated that last week, as many as 66 Chinese military aircrafts and 7 Chinese military vessels were detected “operating around Taiwan.” According to reports, the Chinese military assembly was “apparently en route to a Chinese military exercise in the Western Pacific.” “The CCP insists that Taiwan is Chinese territory, and the Biden administration has been warned that ‘reunification’ will take place at some point,” Prophecy News Watch described. Of course, no one knows when that’s going to take place, but it seems they are looking for a strategic time to make the move. They are receiving great encouragement from what they see happening with Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. In response to questions about its aggressive actions toward Taiwan, Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Jian stated, “the determination of China to safeguard its sovereignty and territorial integrity remains unrelenting.” The Chinese have been aggressively probing Taiwan’s naval defenses. According to Prophecy News Watch, “During the first six months of 2024, the Taiwanese Coast Guard ‘drove away 567 Chinese boats.'” Now China is venturing out much further afield. It’s been reported that “four Chinese military vessels were just spotted off the coast of Alaska.” “All four ships were in international waters, the Coast Guard said, but were inside the U.S. Exclusive Economic Zone, which extends 200 nautical miles from the U.S. shoreline,” the report stated. China is continuing to push and prod, delivering pinprick actions of aggression. They are likely testing the waters to see what the response will be in each of these cases. The reason it’s noteworthy that China has vessels off the coast of Alaska is because it is very unusual—Chinese military vessels usually don’t operate that far north. Many don’t realize this, but China now has the largest Navy on the planet, and they’re using this to expand their sphere of influence. Shockingly, Prophecy News watch further added: “Our own military industry has become extremely dependent on the Chinese. It is being reported that Chinese semiconductors are in approximately ‘40% of all U.S. Department of Defense weapons systems and infrastructure.'” Talk about being compromised! Some years ago, we had problems with semiconductors being used in automobiles, which slowed down production. However, this problem is much more extreme as it relates to our weapons. World Net Daily highlighted: A large number of Chinese semiconductors are used in critical military platforms, accounting for around 40% of all U.S. Department of Defense weapons systems and infrastructure, and are further linked to military supply chains such as Patriot air-defense missiles and B-2 bombers. For example, a Lockheed Martin missile factory situated in Alabama produces Javelin anti-tank weapons which use more than 200 semiconductors in each weapon. This equates to thousands of Chinese-made semiconductors within U.S. weaponry. “U.S. companies at the bottom of the supply chain pyramid often source these parts from China in open market transactions. As a result, many essential components in sensitive U.S. military systems now come from China. Countless major weapons platforms are vulnerable,” the report states. It is very disturbing to see how China has that kind of control over our country. Interestingly, when the assassination attempt against President Trump took place, there was a response from President Xi Jinping in China. Of course, he gave his sympathies to President Trump, according to a statement, but a newspaper owned by the country’s ruling Communist Party published several editorial articles quoting different Chinese academics, many of which stated that the U.S. was becoming increasingly polarized and at risk of potential Civil War. Over in China, they are seeing the fracture in our country as a window of opportunity. They are also using it to bring disinformation through different social media platforms into our country and drive a greater political wedge. Additionally, China held what is called its “third plenum.” In China, they have a major congress twice a decade with all their leaders. Between these congresses, the central committee holds seven plenums attended by all of its current 205 members and 171 alternate members. The first, second, and seventh plenums focus on the power transition between the central committees. The fourth and sixth plenums center on the party ideology. However, in recent decades, this third plenum, which took place last week, has focused on long-term economic reforms. The third plenum that’s taken place has been described by Chinese state media as “epic making.” It’s expected to deliver major initiatives to address the risks and obstacles related to China’s long-term social and economic progress. Of course, all their meetings there are behind closed doors, so no one knows what’s taking place. Could it be related to an invasion of Taiwan? Certainly, it would boost their economy hugely if they could successfully take over Taiwan and all its infrastructure. Time will tell. What we do know is that the Bible predicts a massive confederation of nations mentioned in conjunction with the campaign of Armageddon. Revelation 16:12 says, “And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared.” We know that these kings from the east come from the east of the Euphrates River because it has to be dried up for their advance. Obviously, there are a lot of nations east of the Euphrates, but the major player now is China. Many see a parallel between Revelation 16 and chapter 9, where you have angels that are released at the Euphrates River and an army of 200 million. They believe the army of 200 million and the army from the east are the same. Now, I believe that the army of 200 million in Revelation nine is a demonic army— not a human army—because of several things that are in that passage. The connection is seen because both mention large armies and the Euphrates River. Either way, China, it seems, will be a key player in these End Time events. China today is a powder keg. How will the U.S. respond to China’s relationship with Russia, the encouragement of the Ukraine invasion, and their plans to absorb Taiwan at some point in time? All these things are taking place, with China being positioned as the other great nation besides the United States. If the rapture were to take place and the U.S. was reduced suddenly from our superpower status, that would elevate China to be the major player in our world today. PROPHECY UPDATE VIDEOS

When thinking about “the lie” Paul mentions in 2 Thessalonians 2, it seems there can be only one sort of “lie” Satan would be so determined to foist upon the people left behind after the Rapture of the Church. Here is the prophecy: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. (2 Thessalonians 2:9–12) Satan has always sought to separate people from the Lord and His governance. He was successful in accomplishing his goal when, in the Garden of Eden, Eve fell victim to the serpent’s seduction and then Adam willfully joined her, believing Satan rather than the Lord. God then promised the supernatural seed through humankind that would eventually produce a Savior who would ultimately destroy the serpent and overcome his great lie that separated God and man. Jesus is that Seed, the Redeemer of humanity. He said: “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” (John 14:6). Jesus is the only Way to forgiveness of sin, which separates humans from God. This is what is meant by the first Scripture I and many other young children learned in Sunday school: For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16) Paul foretold in the 2 Thessalonians 2 account that the “lie” the Antichrist regime will impose upon those left behind on earth after the Church is taken to be with Christ forever will involve the refusal to believe “the truth.” They will reject God’s way to redemption. They will deny that Jesus Christ—the Truth—is the way to salvation. The “lie,” then, will be wrapped up in a grand deception that says Christ didn’t truly come in human flesh—Jewish flesh, as a matter of fact—to die for our sins. This, after all, is the “spirit of Antichrist” John warned of: Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. (1 John 4:1-3) That “spirit of antichrist” lie was intrinsic within Hitler’s Nazi regime. The Jews were painted as “Christ-killers and the scourge of mankind,” not as the chosen people through whom God brought His Only Begotten Son into the world to seek and save the lost. That future führer—the satanically empowered son of perdition—will likely mesmerize the post-Rapture world with a lie that denies Jesus Christ ever came to be the sacrifice for humankind. As a matter of fact, Bible prophecy paints that future leader as the one who comes in place of the real Christ. He will claim to be the Savior. He will sit in the temple of God on Moriah in Jerusalem, declaring himself to be God! (See 2 Thessalonians 2:4; Matthew 24:15.) I believe the groundwork is being laid today for the “lie” that will doom much of the world’s population after the Rapture. The lie will have to be part of a fearful crisis of some sort. The disappearance of millions will certainly provide a crisis that will have the attention of the peoples of the world. Any leader who can answer the question of what on earth has happened will get instant adulation from a panicked world. As mentioned above, the earth is being prepared, I’m convinced, for just such an answer as the Antichrist will concoct. We have been given a taste of that preparation taking place for quite some time. A news story from the year 2010, for example, gave more than an inkling of the groundwork being laid for that “lie”: It has been the subject of movies for decades—but what would REALLY happen if aliens visited earth? This may sound like a topic for conspiracy theorists or mad UFO obsessives, yet this week, science’s finest minds gathered in London to debate that very question. …The conference, The Detection of Extraterrestrial Life and the Consequences for Science and Society, was held at the high-brow Royal Society HQ in central London… It is often said the discovery of other civilizations would shatter world religions. Delegates were not so sure. Professor Ted Peters, a theologian, briefed the meeting on some survey results that suggested that rather than undermine religious beliefs—whatever the faith—it would strengthen them, by making God’s creation seem even bigger and more wonderful. Not everyone agreed. British physicist Paul Davies thought Christians would have a problem, given the central belief that Jesus died to save us. If we discover other civilizations, it would raise the awkward question: Why just us? (Nick Pope, “If the Cosmic Phone Rings…Don’t Answer,” 1/28/10; LINK HERE) The “lie” of 2 Thessalonians 2 could well bring into its orbit and make totally believable 1) universalism—the belief that all people are God’s children and there are many ways to salvation; and 2) the notion that Jesus Christ couldn’t have been the Savior, or else He would have to die on other worlds for those inhabitants and for others in other universes. With the way psychologically and demonically paved for there to be a massive UFO invasion during the Tribulation, millions looking for an explanation of why their world is upside down will undoubtedly readily believe such a lie—the one that the ETs who have just removed millions of rebels from the earth have come to rescue the world from oblivion. As I’ve related a number of times, I believe the prophecy that tells of this very event might well be found in the following: And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. (Rev. 13:13-14) Our world today is filled with great deception. Lies come from many governmental leaders, media sources, and even from people in the pulpits of America. It is incumbent upon each of us to be discerning in these closing days of the Church Age. Lost souls hang in the eternal balance. The UN Will Sign the Pact of The Future in Less Than 60 Days – Derrick Broze - https://www.prophecynewswatch.com/article.cfm?recent_news_id=7136 In September the United Nations' 79th General Assembly will host the highly-anticipated "Summit of the Future" where nations will sign the "Pact of the Future", representing a major step towards the creation of a world government. As the United Nations prepares for the 79th session of the UN General Assembly, the general public seems dangerously unaware of the UN's plans for the "Summit of the Future". It is at the Summit where member states are expected to declare a "planetary emergency" as part of the so-called "Pact for the Future". Although the UNGA is an annual meeting, this year's gathering is unique because of the addition of the Summit of the Future, which will take place in New York City on the 22nd and 23rd of September. The summit has been in the making since at least 2022 after repeated calls by UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres to shift financial resources to rapidly complete the Agenda 2030 goals set by the UN in 2015. In September 2021, the Secretary-General released his report, Our Common Agenda, which called for accelerating the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals and the commitments contained in the UN75 Declaration. Our Common Agenda also called for a Summit of the Future to "forge a new global consensus on readying ourselves for a future that is rife with risks but also opportunities". The Summit of the Future website says the outcome of the Pact for the Future will be "a world - and an international system - that is better prepared to manage the challenges we face now". The Pact for the Future is likely to be another piece of the shift towards a world governed by unelected internationalist politicians. During the Summit of the Future, UN member states are also likely to vote to radically alter the UN itself -- what some are calling UN 2.0 -- and the very nature of how nation-states make decisions regarding the future of the planet. The UN has also recently announced their plan to sign a "Global Digital Compact" at the Summit of the Future. The stated purpose of the GDC is "to establish an inclusive global framework, essential for multi-stakeholder action required to overcome digital, data and innovation divides". The UN claims the compact will help advance an "open, free, secure, and human-centered digital future for all" while helping complete the Sustainable Development Goals. Although news of the Summit of the Future and Pact for the Future have begun to creep into the independent media space, the public at large is still completely unaware of this meeting and the implications of the agreements being discussed. Jeffrey Sachs: Advocate of World Government Despite the public's ignorance, the Summit of the Future is catching on in academia. For example, economist Jeffrey Sachs recently published an op-ed on the Summit, extolling the virtues of the UN's efforts. Sachs may be familiar to readers because of his chairing of the Lancet's COVID-19 Commission between 2020 and 2022, a position which he used to question the source of the COVID-19 panic. In March 2023, Sachs also testified in front of the U.S. Congress regarding funding of gain-of-function research and the "lab leak theory". He has been prominently featured on alternative media, including Jimmy Dore and Russell Brand. However, Sachs has long been a proponent for the UN and their SDGs. Sachs is Director of the Center for Sustainable Development at Columbia University. It should also be noted that Columbia University is the home of the original Technocracy movement. Sachs is also the President of the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network, and served as Special Advisor to the UN Secretary General from 2001 to 2018. He also advised previous UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon. So it should come as no surprise that on June 21st Sachs was advocating for the Summit of the Future and a world government system. Of course, the call for world government is couched in terms like "multilateralism", but the end goal is the same -- the end of nation-states and the implementation of a world governing body with power to affect national policies. "The world's geopolitical system is not delivering what we want or need. Sustainable development is our declared goal, meaning economic prosperity, social justice, environmental sustainability, and peace. Yet our reality is continued poverty amidst plenty, widening inequalities, deepening environmental crises, and war," Sachs wrote. Sachs continued by claiming that the Summit of the Future is focused on tackling "a set of unprecedented challenges that can only be solved through global cooperation". According to Sachs and the Technocrats at the UN, the "polycrisis", or multiple, simultaneous crises, cannot be "solved by any one country alone." In fact, Sachs makes it perfectly clear that from his position he is advocating for giving the UN more power to implement policies for the entire world. "On the goal of reforming the UN system, the key is to give more power to UN institutions and to make them more representative," he states. Sachs also echoes previous calls for new financial instruments to fund the transformation of the world, including with a "new system of international taxes" on CO2 emissions, shipping, aviation, and financial transactions. This goal of reforming the international financial system to fund the SDGs and Agenda 2030 mimic recent statements made by Guterres where he called for a "new Bretton Woods moment", referencing the infamous 1944 international agreement that established the IMF. The Breton Woods meeting also adopted rules for governing monetary relations among independent states, including requiring each nation to guarantee convertibility of their currencies into U.S. dollars. Additionally, a UN document on the Summit of the Future titled, What Would it Deliver?, calls for "A Global Financial System That Works For All". "A transformed international financial architecture is fit for purpose, more inclusive, just, representative, effective, and resilient, responsive to the world today rather than as it looked following the Second World War. This architecture invests up-front in SDGs, climate action, and future generations." These calls mirror similar ones made during the "Summit for a New Global Financing Pact" held in Paris, France in June 2023. The Summit, led by French President Emmanuel Macron, welcomed 50 heads of state, representatives of NGOs and civil society organizations to discuss the effort to reset the international financial system as part of the continued push towards the 2030 Agenda and Net Zero goals. The French government stated that the objective of the gathering was to "build a new contract between [the global] North and South" which will better equip the nations to fight poverty and climate change. The summit was attended by US President Joe Biden, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, and Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva. In addition to heads of state, the summit was organized with support from the Open Society Foundations, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and the Rockefeller Foundation, among others. The Stimson Center Connection One of the U.S. based organizations helping push for the Summit of the Future propaganda is the Stimson Center, a think tank that describes itself as a "nonpartisan, nonprofit" organization focused on analyzing issues relating to international peace. The Stimson Center focuses on nuclear proliferation, water management, and responses to humanitarian crises, including the claimed climate crisis. The Center also advises US and international institutions. The Stimson Center was founded in 1989 and is named after the American lawyer and politician Henry L. Stimson. He served as Secretary of War under U.S. President Franklin Delano Roosevelt in 1940, Secretary of War under President Taft, and Secretary of State under President Hoover. According to the National Park Service, Stimson also "had direct control of the Manhattan Project", the covert effort by the U.S. government to develop nuclear weapons. The Rockefeller Foundation has been supplying The Stimson Center with grants worth hundreds of thousands of dollars since 2020. Although unrelated to their work on climate change, the Gates Foundation donated nearly $1 million dollars to the Stimson Center in 2008. The Stimson Center has been a consistent promoter of the Summit of the Future, including writing opinion pieces published in obscure websites, and hosting virtual conferences about the latest developments. In mid-July, the Stimson Center held an event titled, "US Perspectives and Priorities for the UN Summit of the Future". The outline of the gathering states that, "the need for innovative global governance is more urgent now than ever to better fulfill existing UN commitments, such as the Sustainable Development Goals, the Paris Climate Agreement, and the principles of the UN Charter." The discussion featured commentary from Stimson Center officials, as well as Michele Sison, U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for International Organization Affairs and a longtime diplomat with the UN, and Dr. Esther Brimmer, Former Assistant Secretary of State for International Organization Affairs. During the discussion, Sison emphasized the U.S. government's support for the Summit of the Future and the UN's Sustainable Development Goals. "We also support the draft Pact of the Future's recognition of the importance of UN efforts towards developing protocols for an Emergency Platform in the event of further complex global shocks," Sison stated. This call for an Emergency Platform and the declaration of a "Planetary Emergency" is one of the most potentially dangerous aspect of the Summit of the Future. A Planetary Emergency The zero-draft version of the Pact for the Future discusses the need for an "Emergency Platform" that would be activated in the event of "such a shock that has an impact on multiple regions of the world" and, according to the UN, requires a "coherent, coordinated and multidimensional response". The draft also claims that any Emergency Platform would "not be a standing institution or body". The UN also claims the "decision to convene an Emergency Platform" would "fully respect the sovereignty, territorial integrity and political independence of States". The UN is not the only organization promoting the idea of declaring a planetary emergency. UN-affiliated organizations like the Climate Governance Commission (CGC) are also getting in on the fun. The Climate Governance Commission was convened by Maja Groff, a member of the Global Governance Forum, with extensive connections to the technocrats, including the Rockefeller Foundation, who have helped finance the work of the CGC. This makes perfect sense when you recall that in 2023 the Rockefeller Foundation made it clear that the climate agenda was their new focus. The Stimson Center is also a "close collaborator" of the Climate Governance Commission. In late November 2023, just before the opening of the UN Climate Change Conference COP28, the Climate Governance Commission released a report titled Governing Our Planetary Emergency. In this report, the CGC continues their advocacy for updating our ideas on governance. In the Governing Our Planetary Emergency document, under a section labeled "Near-Term International Governance Innovations", the CGC again says the UN should declare a planetary emergency. "We therefore urge the UN General Assembly, at the 2024 Summit of the Future, to declare a planetary emergency, recognizing that the triple planetary crisis poses a grave risk to global stability and security, among others, to be reinforced in similar statements by bodies and agencies of the UN system, regional bodies, and national and local governments." They also echo calls for the "Emergency Platform" referenced by the zero draft of the Pact of the Future. The report recommends convening a "Planetary Emergency Platform" to address the rapidly accelerating consequences of climate change. We can trace the call for a Planetary Emergency back to the infamous but obscure group, the Club of Rome. The CGC's November 2023 report even notes that the belief in a "polycrisis" is "recognized in the work of the Club of Rome Planetary Emergency Project". This reference to the Club of Rome reveals yet another reason the public ought to be concerned with the push for a planetary emergency and claims of crossing planetary boundaries The Club of Rome has been calling for declaring a Planetary Emergency since at least 2019 with the publication of their "Planetary Emergency Plan". The report would be updated in August 2020, after the beginning of COVID1984. The Club of Rome's Emergency Plan is described as a "roadmap for governments and other stakeholders to shift our societies and economies to bring back balance between people, planet and prosperity". As with the zero-draft of the Pact for the Future and the Climate Governance Commission's 2023 report, the Club of Rome calls on nations to declare a Planetary Emergency and adopt a Planetary Emergency Plan. They say such a plan should be "founded on the urgent need to at least halve greenhouse gas emissions by 2030″. These extreme calls for reducing greenhouse gas emissions, especially carbon, have lead some researchers to conclude that the guiding philosophy of the Club of Rome is actually a belief in eugenics, masked by a faux environmental agenda. An understanding of the organization's history may provide some clues. The Club of Rome was founded in 1968 and played a major role in the development of the more well-known World Economic Forum (WEF). On the 50th anniversary of the WEF, the organization looked at their history, and noted that at the 1973 meeting, Aurelio Peccei, the Italian industrialist who co-founded the Club of Rome with Alexander King, presented a speech on his now-infamous book "The Limits to Growth". Alexander King was also responsible for a follow-up report released in 1991 titled "The First Global Revolution". This controversial report includes a section called "The Common Enemy of Humanity is Man", which contains this often-quoted section: "In searching for a new enemy to unite us, we came up with the idea that pollution, the threat of global warming, water shortages, famine and the like would fit the bill. In their totality and in their interactions these phenomena do constitute a common threat which demands the solidarity of all peoples. But in designating them as the enemy, we fall into the trap about which we have already warned, namely mistaking symptoms for causes. All these dangers are caused by human intervention and it is only through changed attitudes and behaviour that they can be overcome. The real enemy, then, is humanity itself." What Comes After the Summit of the Future? As Michele Sison notes in her Stimson Center presentation, the globalist meetings build on top of each other, adding more pieces to the Technocratic State, bit by bit. As such, despite the importance of the Summit of the Future, it will not be the last effort to push humanity towards one world government. "The Summit of the Future is a step, it is an important step, it is just one step along a continuum of efforts to close gaps and make the UN more effective in addressing these challenges," Sison stated. Sison also notes that the work on turning the UN into a world government will continue with future meetings, including the Second World Summit for Social Development. The "Second World Summit for Social Development" is set to meet in 2025, almost 30 years after the first World Summit For Social Development in Copenhagen, Denmark. The UN says the 2025 summit "aims to reinvigorate support for the commitments made in Copenhagen" and advance the UN's 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. One thing is clear, the Summit of the Future, the Pact for the Future, and the Declaration of a Planetary Emergency need more attention. And fast. Otherwise, the freethinking people of the world will be in the same position we have often found ourselves -- looking back to the past with the benefit of hindsight, wishing that we had paid attention before it was too late to stop the advancement of the Technocratic State. If we want to meaningfully challenge the Stimson Center, the Rockefeller Foundation, the Gates Foundation, the United Nations, the World Economic Forum, and the many other tentacles of this Shadow Government Octopus, we must spread this knowledge as far and wide as possible, as quickly as we can. With less than 60 days until the UN's Summit of the Future and a potential declaration of a Planetary Emergency we must do what we can to educate the public about this meeting and the danger it poses to national sovereignty, and thus, individual sovereignty. Beyond educating the masses, we must also prepare for the potential that "The Great Reset", Agenda 2030, and the 4th Industrial Revolution proposed by the UN and WEF cabal will become a reality in some form or another. This is not to say we ought to "give up" and cede our liberties to the Technocrats. Rather, we should recognize that electoral politics and voting for presidential puppets will not lead to more liberty in our lifetime or for future generations. The world is likely all bubbles over the July 21-23 China-brokered meeting between Hamas and Fatah to decide who was going to govern Gaza after the Hamas war with Israel. The Epoch Times reports: Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, who hosted senior Hamas official Moussa Abu Marzouk, Fatah Vice Chair Mahmoud al-Aloul, and representatives from 12 smaller Palestinian groups in Beijing, said they had agreed to establish an “interim national reconciliation government” to rule the Gaza Strip once a cease-fire is reached between Israel and Hamas.” The “Beijing Declaration” also recognized the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO) as “the sole legitimate representative of the Palestinian people.” Fatah, Hamas, and the PLO are all Islamic terrorist groups that want to eliminate Israel from the “river to the sea.” The prophetic end time implications are tremendous. In the end times, the nations housing these terrorist groups attack Israel before the return of Christ. Psalm 83 says, “For, lo, thine enemies make a tumult: and they that hate thee have lifted up the head. They have taken crafty counsel against thy people, and consulted against thy hidden ones. They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance. He was saying, “These nonbelievers can do what they want to do and live the way they want to live. But I’m going to go to the house of the Lord.” David got his priorities in order. In the same way, when we go to church, when we get into God’s Word together, we see the big picture. We recognize right from wrong. And we can make the right choices. We can compare going to church and fellowshipping with other believers to burning logs or coals. If we keep them close together, they stay hot and glow. But if we separate one from the others, that one will grow cold. The same is true of us as followers of Christ. Yet there are Christians who say, “Let’s not go to church today. Let’s go do something else. We went to church two weeks ago.” They are missing out. Church isn’t something we do when we find the time. It’s where we go to gain our focus. It’s where we go for a spiritual tune-up. And it’s also where we go to give as well as receive. We bring our gifts and build up one another. That is why the Bible cautions, “And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near” (Hebrews 10:25 NLT). Something wonderful, something supernatural, something mysterious happens when God’s people gather. When we worship the Lord, He inhabits the praises of His people. When we study His Word, He speaks to us. And when we unite our prayers, there is power in them. David was saying, “This world is crazy, but I will turn to You, Lord. That is where I will put my trust.” Let’s follow the example of David. Let’s take our problems and burdens and cast them upon the Lord, and He ultimately will have His way.
