If the year of 2024 has proven anything so far, it's that our worries about the potential outbreak of WWIII are absolutely reasonable. The skeptics making accusations of "conspiracy theory" and "doom and gloom" have been proven wrong yet again. The geopolitical atmosphere is turning sour fast. I still don't think a lot of people realize how truly volatile the situation is globally right now. From my point of view, WWIII has already begun, at least in economic terms. Let's not forget the fact that Ukraine is essentially a proxy for all of NATO against Russia. And, the situation in the Middle East is about to become much worse. Because of the alliances involved and the fragile nature of global energy exports there is a danger of systemic collapse should a wider war break out between Israel and multiple Arab nations. It appears that such a war is imminent. But why should Americans care? It's pretty simple - War spurs shortages, and shortages in the middle of a stagflationary crisis are a very bad thing. Sanctions against Russia affect around 10% of the global oil market and around 12% of global natural gas consumption. But so far all that oil and natural gas is still flowing around the world, only the trade routes have changed. The Middle East, on the other hand, accounts for over 35% of the global oil market and 18% of the natural gas market. Widespread chaos in this region would mean economic crisis on a scale not seen in a century. Think we have problems with stagflation now? Just wait until energy prices go to the moon. Around 30% of all oil exports travel through the Strait of Hormuz, a narrow passage which a nation like Iran can easily block for months at a time. Sinking a few larger vessels in the straight would obstruct all cargo ship traffic and oil tanker traffic. Trying to clean up the mess would be difficult because artillery, which is almost impossible to intercept, can rain down from Iran on any vessels trying to drag sunken ships out of the way. Iran has mutual defense pacts with multiple governments in the region including Lebanon and Syria, along with military ties to Russia. The Turkish government is unlikely to allow western troops to use their airspace to launch attacks. The US military presence in Afghanistan is gone and the Iraqi government will never allow foreign troops to use their land to come to the aid of Israel. This greatly limits the west's launch points for an offensive large enough to blitz Iran. The vast majority of attacks would be from the air, and if the Russians start supplying Iran with batter radar and missile technology then there's no guarantees Israel or the US would gain full control of the air space. In other words, if a wider war breaks out it will not end for YEARS and it's going to be fought on the ground. Of course, most establishment experts have claimed that the situation will never escalate to that point and that the threat of direct confrontation between Israel and Iran is minimal. I have been predicting the opposite for a number of reasons, just as I predicted that there was a high chance of war in Ukraine months before it happened. In October of 2023 in my article 'It's A Trap! The Wave Of Repercussions As The Middle East Fights "The Last War"' I warned that a multi-front war was about to develop between Israel and various Muslim nations including Lebanon and Iran. I noted: Israel is going to pound Gaza into gravel, there's no doubt about that. A ground invasion will meet far more resistance than the Israelis seem to expect, but Israel controls the air and Gaza is a fixed target with limited territory. The problem for them is not the Palestinians, but the multiple war fronts that will open up if they do what I think they are about to do. Lebanon, Iran and Syria will immediately engage and Israel will have great difficulty being able to fight them on all fronts.. My purpose in that article was to outline the dangers of US involvement in a larger war that would require conscription and escalation with Russia. Despite the "experts" insisting that the odds are overblown, it now appears that the next stage of escalation is about to begin. Iran, Lebanon and Israel have been exchanging limited fire for months now. This is nothing new. What is new is the change in tone after a Hezbollah rocket strike on a children's soccer game in the remote Druze village of Majdal Shams that killed 12. On the other side, Israel's brazen assassination of the Hamas political leader Ismail Haniyeh on Iranian soil this week is a clear catalyst for war. Haniyeh has been engaged in a diplomatic mission to start peace negotiations in Gaza. His assassination sends a clear message that Israel has no intention of entering into talks with Hamas. IDF officials also announced that they had killed top Hezbollah military commander Fuad Shukr in a precision missile strike Tuesday in Beirut. There's no escaping it now. Iran's supreme religious leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has ordered retaliation against Israel and issued an order for Iran to strike the Israelis directly. Iran will likely use extended missile barrages, but also stage troops in Syria and Lebanon. The Houthis in Yemen will then increase their attacks on ships traversing the Red Sea. It's hard to say how much Russia will involve itself at first, but I have no doubt more advanced Russian missiles and other weapons will make an appearance on the battlefield. The prospect of world war is immense. Israel will not be able to fight in Gaza, Lebanon, Syria and Iran all at the same time. Energy exports in the region will definitely face a slowdown, if not a complete breakdown. At that point the war won't just be about Israel, it will be about a global energy crisis. I don't see any scenario in which the US government doesn't get involved and that is why it is currently in full panic mode trying to stop Iran from a massive retaliation. The high risk of terrorism this entails should not be overlooked. We've had an undefended border and record illegal crossings for a few years now under Biden. There's not telling how many foreign agents are in the country and I believe this was by design. I think the establishment maintained open border policies because they wanted such people here. The more terror these agents cause the more the public will be tempted to increase government powers to deal with the attacks. Beyond that, the political left in the west has tied itself to the Palestinian wagon as if it's their business. In reality, leftists view the war in Gaza as just another vehicle for their outrage. They use minorities, they use gays and now they're using Muslims. It's the classic Marxist strategy of hijacking the social causes of other groups and co-opting their momentum. Gaza is just another excuse for progressive spastics to riot and start burning more of the west down (their true goal). Anyone that opposes them will automatically be accused of being a "Zionist sympathizer" even if Israel is not their concern. So, there will surely be Muslim terror attacks, but also civil conflicts triggered by leftists exploiting the situation to their advantage. The timing of these events in tandem with the election is definitely not coincidental. Whoever ends up in office will essentially be "stuck" with the war, inheriting a disaster from day one. Once US forces are committed to an allied effort, there's no chance any president (including Trump) will pull those forces out. If things get bad enough, there might not even be an election in November. For those that think we can "win" on multiple fronts, the truth might shock you. Eric Edelman, who serves as Vice Chair of the US National Defense Strategy Commission, has given warning about the impending conflict, stating: "There is potential for near-term war and a potential that we might lose such a conflict...We need our allies to produce more. Our defense industrial base is in very bad shape. The European defense industrial base is in even worse shape. We need our industrial base, their base, and the industrial base of our Pacific allies. Australia, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan-they all need to be stepping up because to match what Russia, China, Iran and North Korea are doing is beyond our ability to do it ourselves." I have written about the logistical shortcomings of the west in a WWIII scenario for some time now. At the top of the list will be manpower, just as we have seen in Ukraine. This is why we have been hearing military and political officials hint about a new draft over the past two years. They know what's coming. The trap has just been set. We'll have to wait and observe the scale of the response from Lebanon and Iran, but I believe the worst case scenario is at hand. There are multiple powder keg events in progress around the world right now, but the Middle East situation looks to be the most disastrous by far in terms of how it will affect the US and the global economy. If our worldview is based on the Bible, we hold a biblical view of marriage, family, society, law, justice, morality, and basic right and wrong. God said … the end. His word is eternal, unchangeable, and absolute because God is eternal, unchanging, and rules over all things. If we hold a biblical Christian worldview, we know God ordained marriage for life as a covenant between one man and one woman. We know this because God said so in Genesis 1:27, and Jesus confirmed and repeated it in Mark 10:6-8, “From the beginning of creation, ‘God made them male and female.’ For this reason, a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.” God left no room for compromise, caveats, nuances, or “social norms.” Christians understand most unsaved people hold a secular, humanist, self-centered, relativist, or evolutionary worldview. Their beliefs may be sincerely held and ardently supported, but it doesn’t matter how many people are for or against something when they’re wrong. Truth is not decided by a show of hands or headcount. God does not rule by consensus. The only opinion that matters in all endeavors of human existence is “What does God think?” How can I say dogmatically that only God’s opinion matters? Because my Christian worldview is rooted in the Scripture that says, “Declare among the nations: ‘The Lord reigns!’ The world is firmly established; it cannot be moved; He will judge the peoples with equity” (Psalm 96:10). If that’s not clear enough, we have Paul’s testimony repeating Psalm 24, “The earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness” (1 Corinthians 10:26). God has the divine right to rule over all humanity because He is Lord. Why Does a Worldview Matter? A Christian biblical worldview is essential in a world that is constantly morphing into whatever is popular, gratifying, or legal. That is one of many reasons our Founding Fathers did not establish a Democracy (That’s a common lie we are being fed on purpose. Just because we hear it often doesn’t make it true). America is a Constitutional Representative Republic. In a pure democracy, the majority rules. Whatever many want, everyone gets. What happens when the majority is wrong, biased, selfish, immoral, or addicted? We get a mess, like when the majority votes that drug addiction should be legalized or mothers should be legally allowed to kill their babies even after they are fully born, breathing, and out of the womb, as in California, Michigan, and New York. If we hold a biblical Christian worldview, we know this is wrong because murder is written into the Decalogue (Ex. 20:13). It’s murder to kill a living human being, preborn, newborn, or octogenarian. Our 14th Amendment protections apply to us all. Just because abortion is legal or euthanasia becomes socially acceptable doesn’t make them right, only harder to prosecute. Why do some Christians accept cultural shifts and try to fit in? Fear, faithlessness, and ignorance. If you stand for nothing, you will fall for anything. People with no biblical Christian worldview often follow the crowd, some out of a desire to fit in, others out of ignorance that there’s another option. Both have nothing on which to depend when questions arise that they don’t understand or have never faced. What should I do if…? As Christians with a biblical worldview, our automatic response should be, “What does the Bible say? What is God’s perspective?” We know what is right because the Bible addresses right and wrong in every possible context: religious, societal, interpersonal, and governmental. Why A Biblical Worldview? How could one 2000-year-old book possibly address every matter of human behavior and thought? The answer to that also arises from a biblical worldview: Only an eternal God could have known what would happen in advance. Only a Master Creator would have anticipated everything humanity would face over our existence and made preparations for our salvation and everyday lives. Only a loving Father would have written it down and preserved it for us to reference thousands of years later. If humanity and the universe are products of luck, chance, chaos, and evolution, then we have the right to be and conduct ourselves according to our whims and desires. Instead of what is right, we default to what feels good, what we want, what benefits us most, or what advances our agenda. That’s the natural outcome of a me-based evolutionary belief system. I’m the final authority. It puts “me” in God’s place. Our modern society believes it can do whatever it wants because they’re more evolved, more advanced, and more open-minded. I love the phrase that defines that attitude: “Don’t be so open-minded, your brains fall out.” Too many people have tried to be open-minded, tolerant, and inclusive because they’ve been force-fed that nonsense and told it’s what we must do in this highly evolved social paradigm. Well, guess what? Our society isn’t new. “There is nothing new under the sun” (Ecclesiastes 1:9). Abortion was legal and common in ancient Rome. Pagan temple prostitutes gave birth all the time. When they became pregnant, they would give birth, then put the babies out in the street and leave them to die or worse—offer them as sacrifices to pagan deities. Like modern abortions, where 97% of all abortions are elective – the baby was ‘sacrificed’ because it was inconvenient – these babies were disposable outcomes of illicit sexual activity. The early Christians understood this was wrong because God values life, so they began rescuing those infants. The First Century Church became known for rescuing these uncared-for and unseen babies. The idea of an orphanage as we know it was born in the early Church. Historians Josephus and Tacitus noted the practice of Christians saving babies because it was so unusual. They had only the Old Testament then, but by comparing the teachings of Christ to the Mosaic Law, the young Church understood allowing babies to die was inhumane and abhorrent. Practical Applications of a Biblical Worldview What of the other social issues of our time, like homosexual marriage and legalized drug use? How could the Bible possibly address modern society and the problems and questions we face? That’s the easiest question to answer if you hold a biblical worldview. Because God created everything and everyone, God would know everything we would ever face because He knows what is in the hearts of men and women. How do we know sexual perversion is wrong? Because the Bible says so in 1 Corinthians chapter 6. Why is 1 Corinthians chapter 6 in your Bible? Simple, because that letter was written to the Church of Corinth, where it was already happening. Paul based his answer on Leviticus 18 and Deuteronomy 22 because sexual perversion was common in Canaan before Israel inhabited the Promised Land. All the gender nonsense we face is not new, evolved, or a newfound freedom of expression; it was happening in 2000 BC! Because God is the Author of the Bible, He addressed all the concerns, behaviors, ideas, and situations we would ever face. Even when no verse says, “Thou shalt not…” we have God’s eternal promises and timeless principles that apply to any generation or question. Only an all-knowing God could do that, and He did! Now, more than ever, the world is looking for answers. They don’t need compliant, complacent, tolerant, make-no-waves Christians; they need the truth from the Bible. Unsaved people can see that the world is a mess, and they are desperately seeking answers. We have them. They don’t fit the politically or socially accepted narrative because the current culture is godless, anti-Christian, immoral, and wicked. Our biblical Christian worldview will stand in stark contrast to the world’s viewpoint, but we were never meant to fit in; we were meant to stand out, to “shine as lights in the darkness”(Philippians 2:15). Never be afraid to stand for the truth and against the lies. Stand on the truths of the Bible. Speak for God unapologetically, “The Bible says…” God was right the first time. His word still applies. His answers are still true. His way works because humans will always repeat the processes and practices of those before them. When societies have been out of step with God’s word, they have always failed and fallen. Pray that does not happen to America. Speak up in the places God has given you influence. Let Ephesians 6:13 be your guide. Reject what the liberal, godless, mainstream media is selling. Never be ashamed to be salt and light to a world that is spiritually dead in sin, morally decaying in filth, and blinded by the thick darkness of Satanic deception. Watchmen, fill your mind with things of Christ—think Christianly. Be a fountain of His words—speak biblically. Be a beacon in the town square, at home, online, and in public. Upon reading the manuscript, the publisher’s book-selection committee wanted me to strike my thoughts on the possible connection. Although I had only offered the possibility and wrote it in such a way as to make it only a scripturally based conjecture, I was told that if I didn’t delete that portion, they wouldn’t publish the book. The committee said it smacked of being a false teaching. That was their only charge against the postulation. I, of course, did take it out of the manuscript because it was just a small part of a massive volume I very much believe the Lord wanted published. (1 John 4:1-3) I think all who believe in Christ for salvation who observe these strange times from the pre-Trib view of Bible prophecy have the spiritual capability of discerning the hell-spawned hatred that has suddenly developed against Israel on a global scale. I believe evil is manifesting particularly on a national scale at this late prophetic hour. A portal to the dimension where demonic entities are held seems to have been unleashed. The Apostle John said, in effect, that the portal was opened to some extent when he was transcribing the words of the Holy Spirit. Certainly we should expect to see an intensive increase in such activity the nearer time comes to the Tribulation. Evil men and seducers are growing worse by the hour, just as the Apostle Paul predicted. Much of the seduction is carried out against the Jewish people–against Israel—by the evil professors at the university level across America and the world. Students under their wicked inculcation seem to have been possessed by the spirit of Antichrist as they chant, “Kill the Jews,” and, “Wipe out Israel from the river to the sea!”. John’s words have specific meaning. They are not just idle words, but present the connection, I think, to Satan’s hatred of God’s chosen people and nation: Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. Jesus, the promised Savior since Genesis 3:15, is the object of Lucifer’s hatred. He has been working through eons to destroy the flesh through which the Savior came into the world. It was Jewish flesh. Satan’s insane rage now is manifest as strongly as ever, perhaps more so, as the time of Rapture and the Tribulation to follow nears. One report offers proof of the increasing rage against God’s chosen. There is a massive security presence here as the Secret Service, the Capitol Police, and other federal, state, and local police agencies are deployed in a wide perimeter around the Capitol grounds. More than 10,000 angry, hostile, anti-Israel and anti-Netanyahu protesters have descended upon the city. John made perhaps the strongest statement pointing to exactly how close this world is to the beginning of the worst time in all of human history–the Tribulation. But before that time of horror can commence, Jesus Himself will step out on the clouds of Glory and call all believers to Himself. Here is how to be a part of that divine rescue from this judgment-bound world. Many believe these all came into being after the “pandemic” of 2020. However, the roots of all these agendas go back over… ninety years! By looking back at history, one can clearly see the direction world leaders are heading right now. Let’s go back one hundred and five years. In 1919, after the First World War, on West 35th Street in New York City, an American engineer named Howard Scott helped form the Technical Alliance. It was created to track North America’s economic and social trends. Its goal was to prove how wasteful the United States capitalist system was. According to their website, when Scott was asked what he was going to do with public opinion, he said, “What the public thinks does not matter; it makes not the slightest difference whether the public knows about it or not.” Does that response sound familiar? The Technical Alliance only lasted two years, ending in 1921; however, it led to the creation of the Technocracy movement, which was born at Columbia University in 1932. Its main goal was to replace politicians and business professionals with scientists and engineers. They planned to have scientists and engineers oversee the United States economy because they felt that scientists and engineers were more qualified to run the country. By the way, they were in complete opposition to capitalism. Sound familiar? In the late 1930s, the Technocracy movement hit a wall when it was replaced with President Franklin D. Roosevelt’s New Deal. The New Deal was a series of programs and financial reforms enacted by the President. This was the birth of many programs, some of which still survive to this day, such as the FDIC, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, the SEC, the Securities Exchange Commission, and the Social Security System. Roosevelt’s New Deal resulted in a dramatic increase in the federal government’s power and established the President as the primary authority within it. The New Deal era lasted from the 1930s to the 1970s. In 1936, anyone who supported the New Deal was considered to be progressive, and anyone who opposed it was labeled as conservative. Does that political divide sound familiar? The early 1970s saw the creation of the Trilateral Commission. David Rockefeller was the main force behind its creation. The Trilateral Commission is not a government agency but a private one that includes leading figures in politics, business, media, and academia. The Trilateral Commission’s original bylaws deny membership to public officials. Its whole existence and focus is to develop greater cooperation among all the world’s countries, specifically the United States, Japan, Western Europe, and North America—a designed global plan. It was designed to eventually lead to no borders. Sound familiar? This plan is intended to eventually lead to a one-world economy and system. Sound familiar? How did we get to the Great Reset, Agenda 2030, ESG scores, 15-minute cities, and Sustainable Development? It all started in 1919 with the Technical Alliance, which led to the creation of the Technocracy movement. The Technocracy movement was placed on the back burner for several decades until the 1970s and the creation of the Trilateral Commission. The World Economic Forum In the early 1970s, alongside the creation of the Trilateral Commission, the World Economic Forum was created. Another non-governmental organization based in Geneva and the leading authority of the Great Reset of 2020. From its website, the World Economic Forum claims its mission is to “improve the state of the world by engaging business, political, academic, and other leaders of society to shape global, regional, and industry agendas.” The Great Reset is said to be an economic recovery plan launched in response to the 2019 “pandemic.” Let’s look back and see how the launch of the Technocracy movement worked out when scientists and engineers wanted to abolish capitalism and make all the decisions for the public. Before the New Deal, while the Technocracy movement was in effect, bank deposits were not “guaranteed” by the government. Thousands of banks closed, and people lost access to their money. The nation became psychologically devastated. State governors had authorized bank holidays, meaning there were restrictions placed on withdrawals, meaning many Americans had little or no access to their bank accounts. Between 1930 and 1933, farms were devastated as their income had fallen, many by over fifty percent. Millions of mortgages were foreclosed on, and political and business leaders feared revolution and anarchy. Does any of that sound familiar? Remember that the stated goal of the World Economic Forum is that in ten years you will own nothing and be happy. Remember, that was publicly said in 2016. There is nothing new about the effort to force the Great Reset, Agenda 2030, ESG scores, 15-minute cities, and Sustainable Development. Nothing is new with non-governmental agencies wanting to control and oversee our food production and resources. Nothing is new with non-governmental agencies wanting to do away with borders. Nothing is new with non-governmental agencies wanting a global economy, not a national one. Nothing is new with non-governmental agencies wanting to dictate where and how the general public can live. There is nothing new with non-governmental agencies wishing to control our healthcare. Nothing the World Economic Forum, the United Nations, or the World Health Organization is actively planning and trying to implement is new. History reveals how such like-minded efforts have worked out before. The question is, where does the current direction take us? Man may have his plan, but God is still in control. Conservatives want the rule of law established and unchanged, except by legislative action. In both cases, Republicans are saying that Democrats want to end democracy and Democrats are saying Republicans are a threat to democracy—especially their brand of it. After being imprisoned and warned by the high priests (the governing body of the Jews) to not conduct ministry in the name of Jesus, Peter and the apostles responded in Acts 5:29, “We ought to obey God rather than men.” In developing the governing principles over the children of Israel, Jethro advised Moses in Exodus 18:21, “…provide out of all the people able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness; and place such over them (the people)…” This is the basis of American government the Founders used. There are many justifications of civic responsibility in the Bible, but are Christians using them? The foundational social contract from which our Republic was derived is that there are inalienable rights endowed by the Creator and that government is formed to protect those rights. The basis of a Constitutional Republic (not democracy) is predicated on the belief that God created man and conveyed certain rights of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. These rights are protected in our Constitution. Government was limited by the Constitution to protect these rights. Under the influence of Marxist Democrats, the meaning of the Constitution’s words has been twisted and government rather than the Creator has become the source of rights. As a result, Christian America seems confused on how to oppose this perversion of the Constitution and rule of law. John Jay, a Founder and first Supreme Court Justice, put it succinctly: “Providence has given our people the choice of their rulers, and it is the duty, as well as privilege and interest, of a Christian nation to select and prefer Christians for their rulers.” Errant teaching from the pulpit and from Christian leaders has created disillusionment and apathy in Christians about their civic responsibility. Some are acting in error under the direction of the anti-biblical theology of dominionism. Others are failing to act because of a hyper-response to teachings about the rapture. There are many other teachings that have contributed to Christian ineffectiveness in self-government. Be not confused. As an American and as a Christian, we all have civic responsibility. God gave us a nation where we have freedom of self-government. The Founders said it would only work with a moral and religious people. If Christians shirk their civic responsibility, the nation will fall. And it is. Remember the saying, “Only you can prevent forest fires”? Herein, only you can protect this Constitutional Republic. He knew what it was like to suffer. The paranoid King Saul hunted him like a wild animal, even after the prophet Samuel had anointed David as the next king of Israel. We also know that David penned Psalm 23 under the direction of the Holy Spirit. He wrote not only of the glory and power of God but also of his own shortcomings, weaknesses, and questions he faced in life. The Twenty-Third Psalm comes from the school of hard knocks, written by someone who knew what it was like to need God’s help. David, being a shepherd, probably looked out at his flock one day and, seeing their tendencies, recognized that people are a lot like sheep. For instance, sheep are completely defenseless and require more care and attention than any other kind of livestock. They also tend to work in concert and desperately want to conform. At the same time, David realized that God was his Shepherd. And shepherds look out for the welfare of their sheep. They lead them to green pastures and beside still waters. Yet despite the shepherd’s tender care and good intentions, sheep tend to go astray. Now, it would seem that anyone under the care of the Good Shepherd never would go astray or need restoration. But that is not the case. Why do we run from God? Why do we disregard His plans for our lives? We break God’s commandments and ignore His Word. And then amazingly, when we have made an unnecessary mess for ourselves, we get angry with God about it. Yet David wrote, “He renews my strength. He guides me along right paths, bringing honor to his name” (Psalm 23:3 NLT). David knew a little bit about renewal and restoration. He had his lapses and his downfalls, which are recorded for us in Scripture. Usually, when we think of David, two other names come to mind: Goliath and Bathsheba. Goliath represents David’s greatest victory in which he felled the nine-foot-six-inch Philistine with one smooth stone. On the other hand, Bathsheba represents his greatest defeat in which he fell into the sin of immorality and tried to hide it. As a result, his life became progressively worse. In Psalm 42, the psalmist cried out, “Why am I discouraged? Why is my heart so sad? I will put my hope in God! I will praise him again—my Savior and my God!” (verse 11 NLT). Often, the Christians who are the most vulnerable to sin are not the weakest; they’re the strongest. Sometimes weak Christians recognize their vulnerability and, as a result, stay that much closer to the Shepherd. Meanwhile, the strong ones might say, “I don’t need to be that close to the Shepherd all the time. I’ll just wander off on my own, kick back, and take it easy.” It’s often when we lower our defenses that we’re hit by an onslaught of fiery arrows from the enemy. So we must always keep our guard up and remain close to the Shepherd.
