Israel Sends Message In The Form Of A Sonic Boom Over Beirut, As US Pressure Emboldens Iran’s Axis Of Evil – By Erick Stakelbeck - https://harbingersdaily.com/israel-sends-message-in-the-form-of-a-sonic-boom-over-beirut-as-us-pressure-emboldens-irans-axis-of-evil/
The Times of Israel reported that earlier today, Israeli jets set off Sonic booms in Beirut just as Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah was set to start delivering his fiery speech once again threatening the world’s one and only Jewish State. “Israeli warplanes broke the sound barrier over Beirut just ahead of a pugnacious speech by Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah on Tuesday afternoon, as northern residents were told to stay close to bomb shelters amid a series of cross-border attacks from Lebanon,” the Times of Israel detailed. “At the beginning of his televised address on Tuesday to mark the one-week anniversary of Shukr’s death, Nasrallah charged that the sonic booms set off by Israeli planes flying low over Beirut were intended as a provocation.” “The loud booms sent residents rushing to open their windows to prevent the glass from shattering or standing on their balconies to get a glimpse of the planes flying over,” the report continued. Clearly, this was a message from Israel. There has been talk of Hezbollah striking Israel prior to Iran’s promised attack. If Hezbollah tries to attack Israel in some major way, Beirut, the capital of Lebanon where Nashallah routinely hides, will be on the table. Israeli leaders, both military and political, have said this for years. If Lebanon is hosting Hezbollah, if Hezbollah has essentially built a state within a state, Lebanon will also pay a price—hence, sonic booms over Beirut. Additionally, five Hezbollah terrorist operatives were taken out in an Israeli air strike in southern Lebanon today, and Hezbollah fired dozens of rockets at the Galilee region and the Golan Heights. It is a high-intensity war that’s gone on since October 8th between Israel and Hezbollah in southern Lebanon. Offense vs Defense — Awaiting The Iranian Attack The world continues to wait for the promised Iranian axis of evil attack on Israel. It has been one week since the news broke that Israel had eliminated top Hamas Leader Ismail Haniyeh and Hezbollah commander Fuad Shukr. While Shaukr was killed in Beruit, Haniyeh was taken out in Tehran under the noses of the Iranian regime, his host. Ever since, we have been hearing threats of revenge from the Iranian axis. Iran reportedly told diplomats that they are going to strike Israel—or at least they will try. Is the moment is upon us? Some have suggested the regime will wait until the ninth of Av, a significant day on the Jewish calendar. This was the day, a few hundred years apart, when both Jewish temples were destroyed, and the Jewish people were exiled from the land of Israel. First, the Babylonians destroyed Solomon’s temple. Later, in 70 AD, the Romans led by General Titus, destroyed the second temple, often referred to as “Herod’s Temple,” where Jesus taught and chased out the money changers. We don’t know when this Iranian attack is coming, but sitting in the United States, it has been difficult watching this all unfold. Call me crazy, but if someone is planning to strike you… strike them first before they get the chance! It has been maddening to see Israel have to sit around and wait for this Iranian attack before they can respond. The reason for that is the Biden Administration. That’s not political; that’s a fact. Just as they did during the April 13th attack on Israel by Iran, the Biden Administration is telling Israel that they will help “defend” against any Iranian attack, but if Israel goes on the offensive, that support will no longer remain. It’s a disgrace on the part of the American Administration. I just sat down with my good friend Yair Pinto, a TBN Israel correspondent out of Jerusalem and spokesman for the Israel Defense Forces who served in Gaza. On an episode of Stakelbeck tonight, I expressed my frustration with Yair that the world is pressuring Israel to sit and wait to be attacked. He responded by saying that he did not believe that this attack will be like April 13th. On April 13th, Israel waited, he explained. They knew Iran had launched over 300 rockets, missiles, and attack drones, and it took a few hours for some of them to actually reach Israel. Thankfully and miraculously 99% of them were shot down. It was a miracle. This time around, Yair said, as soon as Iran fires one missile, Israel’s going to strike crucial facilities in Iran—perhaps military, oil facilities, or water infrastructure. Israel is not going to stand pat once Iran pushes that trigger, he stressed during our discussion. Five days after the April 13th attack, Israel responded in a very limited way, with one air strike near an Iranian nuclear facility. It had symbolic value, but overall, it was not the kind of response from Israel that served as a deterrent to Iran. If it was, we wouldn’t be having this conversation today. Yair believes that the Israeli response will be carried out quickly, in real-time. During the Six-Day War, another miraculous victory, Israel struck first. Egypt, Syria, and Jordan en mass were on Israel’s borders. Like now, everyone knew the attack was coming. Israel struck them and destroyed the Egyptian Air Force while it was still on the ground. They never got in the air. The war was effectively over in the opening hours because of preemptive action. That was 1967. Contrast that with the 1973 Yom Kippur War. Israel’s enemies made major gains in the early days of the war before Israel eventually turned the tide and ended up with a resounding victory. However, over 2,500 Israeli soldiers lost their lives. That’s a heavy price for a tiny Nation like Israel to pay. That was the difference between offense in 1967 and defense in 1973. Biden Administration Tying Israel’s Hands There have been rumblings that Israel may strike preemptively now. If Israel does not, I believe it would be because the world will howl and blame Israel. Whereas, if Israel waits for the rockets to start flying from Iran and the Jewish State reacts overwhelmingly, they can point to Iran taking the first shot. It’s a sad state of affairs ladies and gentlemen, but that’s where we’re at in the world right now. The world as a whole is trying to restrain Israel from taking decisive action against genocidal forces that want to wipe it off the map. On April 13th, Joe Biden told Benjamin Netanyahu, “Take the win,” it wasn’t a successful attack, so let sleeping dogs lie. The problem with that is Iran became emboldened. April 13th, in one sense, was a resounding victory, with 99% of those projectiles being shot down, in another sense, Iran took notes. They got away with it. We know from the public statements of the Biden Administration that they’re tying Israel’s hands and threatening them not to attack preemptively. Though under Biden they don’t act as such, the United States remains the leader of the free world. When the United States is weak, it leaves a vacuum for the world’s worst actors to fill. Weak men create hard times, and we’re seeing this throughout the West. Iran is not frightened or nervous about the US—they’re emboldened. That’s why they’re doing this again, and they will very likely try to do it with greater force and magnitude this time around. Until the US shows strength and takes the pressure off of Israel, allowing them to do what is necessary, we’ll continue to have these provocations from the likes of the Iranian regime. Hamas Names Sinwar Top Leader Meanwhile, in the demonic death cult known as Hamas, the Osama Bin Laden of Gaza, Yahya Sinwar, ascended (more accurately descended) to the top leadership post, replacing the not-so-dearly departed Ismail Haniyeh who was taken out in Tehran last week. Sinwar, a barbaric butcher, is the face of October 7th. If you are following Hamas as I have since its inception, you shouldn’t be surprised. They’re doubling down. There is no turning back. Hamas is a genocidal jihadist organization that exists to destroy Israel. Pray For Israel Right now, Israel could use a few good friends (it goes without saying). As Christians, we must try to fulfill that biblical mandate of blessing the people of Israel and assisting the people of Israel as laid out in Genesis 12:3. Israel needs to rely on the God of Israel. The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. I ask you to join me in praying for Israel’s leaders—for them to have the wisdom of Solomon, spines of steel and boldness, and the courage to do what’s right. Israel's Long Arm of Retribution: Where is The United States In All Of This? – Stephen Flatow - https://www.prophecynewswatch.com/article.cfm?recent_news_id=7167 The killing of senior Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh on July 31 is just another in a long line of anti-terror activities that take place outside the borders of Israel. For a country that struggles to manage mail delivery within its borders, delivering a concealed bomb to a hotel 1,000 miles away in Tehran didn't seem to be a problem. Haniyeh's and other recent assassinations are not one-off events, as Israel's long arm of retribution for harm against its citizens has been seen before. Following the massacre of 11 members of the Israeli athletic team at the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich, then-Israeli Prime Minister Golda Meir authorized the Mossad to undertake "Operation Wrath of God," which targeted individuals associated with the Palestinian Black September movement and operatives of the Palestine Liberation Organization for assassination. While the precise number of targets remains unknown, it is reported to have included 20 to 35 individuals. The operation spanned two decades, emphasizing the global scale and extended duration of the Jewish state's response to the violent tragedy in Germany. More recently, as Palestinian terrorists murdered and maimed Israelis in the 1990s following the signing of the Oslo Accords, Israel again acted. For instance, in October 1995, Fathi Shaqaqi--the leader of Palestine Islamic Jihad--stepped out of a hotel on the Mediterranean island of Malta. Two men on a motorcycle stopped opposite him and shot him at point-blank range. While no one took credit for the attack, it was attributed to the Mossad as payback for PIJ carrying out an April 9, 1995 terror attack near Kfar Darom that took the lives of eight people, including my daughter Alisa. January 1996 saw the assassination of Hamas operative Yahya Ayyash, known as "The Engineer," who was responsible for rigging bomb vests and designing other deadly terror tools. His cell phone was returned to him after a "repair," and when he answered a call, an explosion did what it was intended to--remove a potent member of the Hamas terror team. Yet it's disheartening to realize how little the U.S. government has done in similar cases and how muddled the American reply has been to attacks against American citizens in Israel and elsewhere. You may recall then-President Bill Clinton's 1996 promise to the family of Nachshon Wachsman--a U.S. citizen kidnapped and murdered by Hamas in 1994--that he would bring Mohammed Deif, the mastermind of the kidnapping, to justice. Safe under the protection of the PLO and then Hamas, polite requests from Washington to PLO chief Yasser Arafat for Deif to be handed over to it were met with silence. While it took almost 30 years, Deif did meet his end last month, courtesy of Israel. Going further back, on Aug. 11, 1976, terrorists from the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine attacked the El Al Terminal in the Istanbul Airport. Four people were killed and dozens were injured. Two of the wounded were American women. One of those killed was Harold W. Rosenthal, 29, of Philadelphia, who had been a staff member for several Democratic members of Congress. The PFLP is the second-largest faction of the PLO. The PLO is headed by Mahmoud Abbas, chairman of the Palestinian Authority, which receives $500 million a year from the United States. Yet no U.S. administration has ever demanded that Abbas expel the PFLP from the PLO. Rosenthal was not the only terror victim with close ties to Democratic leaders. On March 9, 1978, a group of Palestinian terrorists led by Dalal Mughrabi landed on a northern Israel beach where they encountered Gail Rubin, a nature photographer and niece of Sen. Abraham Ribicoff, a Connecticut Democrat. Mughrabi shot Gail point-blank. The P.A. has named streets, parks and sports tournaments in honor of Mughrabi, whom it considers a "heroine" and "martyr." While the U.S. reaction to the terror attacks on Sept. 11, 2001, eventually brought about the killing of mastermind Osama bin Laden in Pakistan and the arrests of some of Al-Qaeda's most notorious villains who are now imprisoned at Guantánamo Bay, the absence of any American response to the murder and kidnappings of Americans by Hamas on Oct. 7 is discouraging. It's not that the United States can't act; it certainly does when it wants to. Al-Qaeda was the target of "Operation Enduring Freedom" initiated in 2001 to dismantle the terror group and remove the Taliban from power in Afghanistan. This operation involved extensive military action, including airstrikes and ground operations. It has employed drone strikes targeting Al-Qaeda leaders and operatives in countries like Yemen, Pakistan and Somalia. It has imposed sanctions on individuals and entities associated with Al-Qaeda, aiming to disrupt their financial networks and limit their ability to fund terrorist activities. You may be surprised to learn that U.S. laws allow for the prosecution in the United States of crimes against Americans that are committed overseas. Other laws address the deaths of Americans overseas as a result of state-sponsored terrorism as well as hostage-taking. The U.S. Code has a section dealing with hostages. It applies to "whoever ... seizes or detains and threatens to kill, to injure or to continue to detain another ... in order to compel a ... a governmental organization to do or abstain from doing any act as an explicit or implicit condition for the release of the person detained, or attempts or conspires to do so, shall be punished by imprisonment for any term of years or for life and, if the death of any person results, shall be punished by death or life imprisonment." This law clearly applies today, as at least nine American citizens are being held captive in the Gaza Strip. The "whoever" cited in the statute are those members of Hamas who not only participated in the attacks but "conspired"--namely, the Hamas leadership. With Haniyeh out of the way, Hamas senior leader Yahya Sinwar is a ripe candidate for indictment and U.S. action to bring him to justice. America has the tools to join in the fight against Hamas. So, why hasn't it? The hostages and the memories of those murdered on Oct. 7 deserve at least that much. PROPHECY UPDATE VIDEOS

Jeff hosts the television programs "Jeff Kinley Live" and "The King Is Coming" and co-hosts the Prophecy Pros Podcast. Jeff Kinley: I believe we are living in the era of globalism coming of age. The Bible says that in the last days, there's going to be a one-world government headed up by the Antichrist. This will be in fulfillment of Satan's 6,000-year ambition to be in charge of the entire earth. We know according to Bible prophecy that's exactly what will happen. The rise of technology, the way the world has shrunk due to communications, governments cooperating over global crises, and the nations laying aside their nationalist rights to join together more as one—that's all pushing towards globalism. We're seeing globalism being championed by the World Economic Forum, the World Health Organization, the United Nations, and the G20 nations. These organizations are all coming together and pushing the nations towards uniting under one overarching government. Isn't it interesting that the world is getting on board with the pre-scripted prophecies that God has foretold in His Word? We saw how the COVID-19 pandemic got the whole world talking about one thing. Global crisis brings about chaos, and chaos causes people to demand peace and safety from their governments. The endgame for controlled global crises is all about instituting a one-world government. Klaus Schwab of the World Economic Forum loves the way that China controls its people. There are over 100 million cameras in China! The social credit score China assigns to each of its citizens regulates how many privileges and restrictions each person is granted, all based on their behavior and loyalty to the state. People are looking to China as the model of how to properly run a country. And of course, the more control you have over a populace, the more you become dictatorial. The executive orders that the Biden administration has been mandating so enthusiastically are really quite frightening. They prove how globalism has been seeping into many once-democratic governments as their leaders desire to shift their countries to act more like China and then unite them on a global scale. Overcoming the Objections of Nationalists Nathan Jones: Both China and Russia are trying to buck the growing globalist system by becoming more ultra-nationalistic. Therefore, where does nationalism fit into end-time Bible prophecy? If the whole world is moving towards globalism then what do we do about these rogue superpowers? Jeff Kinley: According to Ezekiel 38-39, Scripture says that Russia will move south in the latter days when Israel is living securely. God will set a hook in Russia's jaw and bring Russia down to invade Israel. But, here's the thing, those Islamic nations that ally themselves with Russia as part of that great Gog-Magog War, well God is going to annihilate the armies of those invading nations. The nearly total destruction of Russia and Islam need to happen for the Antichrist to be able to take charge. And this may grant Israel the opportunity to rebuild their temple. If the Islamic forces were wiped away by God's intervention in the Gog-Magog War, and this war occurred somewhere around the Rapture, then only the European Union would remain the sole superpower. When the Antichrist rises out of Europe, his peace covenant could include Israel being free to rebuild the Temple on the Temple Mount. So, all of these prophecies dovetail together like pieces to a jigsaw puzzle. Like any puzzle, you don't really see how the pieces all fit together. But, as we go forward in time, it's like we get more and more pieces—more prophetic knowledge—and so more clarity about how these prophesied events could shape up. A Rapid Acceleration Tim Moore: So many of the end times signs that we've been watching are starting to come together and converge in a way that has not been seen for 2,000 years. For instance, Israel is a nation once more surrounded by hostile nations. The Gentile nations are trying to bring about a one-world government, just as Scripture foretold. Technology is allowing the ability for governments to control their citizens. We're seeing, even in our country, a devolution from Judeo-Christian values in favor of Secularism. All of these signs are happening at an accelerating pace and are converging into one big super sign. Jeff Kinley: The key word here is accelerating. Remember how Jesus talked about birth pangs in Matthew 24? He was prophesying what would happen during the Tribulation period. As we all know, birth pangs increase in frequency and intensity the closer one gets to the birth. Right now we are on the other side of the Tribulation. We're not quite yet there. But, we are still seeing this rapid acceleration of all these end times signs coming together that point to the nearness of the Rapture followed by the Tribulation. Living With Purposeful Urgency Jeff Kinley: The apostle John declared in 1 John 2:18, "Little children, it is the last hour; and as you have heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come, by which we know that it is the last hour." I don't know if we are ticking to the very last seconds or not, but knowing the Lord is indeed coming soon does provide Christians with a sense of expectancy for the Lord's soon return. It also gives us a sense of what I call Purposeful Urgency. It's not panic. We're not running around like Chicken Little. Rather, we possess a sense of, "I've got to get this done!" Think, "It's the two-minute warning. It's late in the fourth quarter. We need to win this game!" Three things Christians should be doing while we wait for the return of Jesus Christ. First of all, for the believers out there—wake up. Jesus called to the Church of Sardis to wake up. They thought they were alive, but they were not. "Wake up! See who I am," is what Christ calls Christians to do. The second thing we should do is—stand up. Stand up to this pagan culture! This culture needs salt and light to see Christ. Christians are the restraining influence holding that great tide of evil at bay. If we don't stand up now then the world is not going to know the difference between right and wrong. So wake up, stand up, and finally—speak up. Speak up for the Gospel of Jesus Christ! Tell people about how our wonderful Savior can forgive us of our sins. Only Jesus Christ can make a sinner brand new on the inside. Only Jesus Christ can grant us an eternal destiny and hope for the future. That's the good news that we as Christians need to speak up about. Nathan Jones: This lost world should fear the rise in globalism. Its institution means the world's inevitable enslavement and death. But, for the Christian, we don't fear the Antichrist, because we know from the signs of the end times that Jesus Christ is coming. Our Lord will soon call His children to "Come up here," and we shall dwell with our Savior forever. For those who have not yet accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord, now's the time. Do not delay! The King is coming soon. Why the Biblical Command 'Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem' Is More Relevant Now Than Ever – Jim Denison - https://www.crosswalk.com/devotionals/denison-forum/why-the-biblical-command-pray-for-the-peace-of-jerusalem-is-more-relevant-now-than-ever.html Tropical Storm Debby is posing what Axios calls a “nightmare scenario” for flooding across Georgia and South Carolina this week. Some seven thousand miles to our east, another nightmare scenario is unfolding for Israel. According to the Israeli news outlet Haaretz, Western diplomats expect Iran’s attack response to the Israeli-attributed assassination of Hamas politburo chief Ismail Haniyeh to come within the next day or so. In related news:
However, things are even worse for Israel than they appear. “The ground is changing beneath our feet” Writing in Foreign Affairs, international relations expert Dalia Dassa Kaye reports that, on a recent trip to Israel, she found a fundamental change in the “spirit” of the Middle East: many Israelis now believe that their adversaries think destroying their country is actually a realistic goal. The October 7 invasion shattered Israeli assumptions that their military and technological superiority could deter their enemies and that they could live securely behind walls and fortified borders. Now, analysts express a sense of existential dread that they describe as different from any they have felt since their country’s independence in 1948. Israel is hemorrhaging international support because of the enormous death toll and destruction in Gaza. In legal forums in The Hague, Israel faces heightened scrutiny for their West Bank occupation and their conduct of the war. In addition, Iran’s April attack on Israel alarms authorities who worry that the next assault may not be so easily repelled. This while conflicts with Hezbollah to the north, Hamas to the west, jihadists to the east, and Houthis to the south continue with no end in sight. As the nation faces multi-pronged aggression unprecedented in its history, its reservists are exhausted, constraining Israel’s ability to sustain—much less heighten—its war effort. As one former government official told Kaye, “The ground is changing beneath our feet.” “The terrorism warning lights are blinking red again” To respond to the crisis in the Middle East most effectively, we must engage with it most empathetically. But this is hard for many Americans. We are deeply worried about yesterday’s further drops in the stock market and focused on a presidential election that is truly unprecedented. Our expansive oceans and vast military superiority have led us to feel protected from wars abroad. But this sense of complacency is ill-founded. Russian Security Council Secretary Sergei Shoigu arrived in Tehran on Monday for talks with Iran’s leadership. Given Iran’s recent military and economic partnership with Russia and China, we are left to wonder what role Russia might play in any escalation between Iran and Israel. And what role the US might have to play in response. Meanwhile, ISIS-K is escalating into a terror threat against our homeland. Analysts warn that “the terrorism warning lights are blinking red again,” echoing the run-up to 9/11. Undersea cables that conduct 99 percent of the world’s internet traffic are especially susceptible to sabotage. And AI-made bioweapons can be easily smuggled across borders and deployed with devastating consequences. I report all of that to ask this: If the threats against Israel were threats against the US, how empathetically would you respond? “When you know how much God is in love with you” The biblical command to “pray for the peace of Jerusalem” (Psalm 122:6) has not been this urgent since the modern state of Israel was founded in 1948. “Peace,” in Hebrew, translates shalom, meaning a deep sense of well-being with God, others, and ourselves. For Israel to have such shalom, it must be at peace with God and at peace with its neighbors. Accordingly, let us pray fervently for peace to come to all peoples in this war-torn region. And let us pray for Jews and Muslims alike to turn to the one Messiah who can bring such peace to their nations and to their hearts. Let us pray for them as empathetically as if they were our family because, in God’s eyes, they are. Jesus loves each of them as much as he loves each of us. He died for them just as fully as he died for us. Now it’s our turn to pay forward his compassion with ours. Mother Teresa was right: “When you know how much God is in love with you, then you can only live your life radiating that love.” To this end, let’s close by making Henri Nouwen’s prayer ours today: Dear God, As you draw me ever deeper into your heart, I discover that my companions on the journey are women and men loved by you as fully and as intimately as I am. In your compassionate heart, there is a place for all of them. No one is excluded. Give me a share in your compassion, dear God, so that your unlimited love may become visible in the way I love my brothers and sisters. Amen. Daily Jot: Stupidocrisy: Believing the polls - Bill Wilson – www.dailyjot.com In the wake of Joe Biden suspending his presidential campaign and Kamala Harris stepping in, everyone was wondering about the polls. Almost immediately, there appeared in the news a Reuters poll and one by Quinnipiac that showed Harris leading Trump. There were 13 other polls, according to Breitbart News, that indicated Trump was well head of Harris. Anywhere from a 2-point to a four-point lead. But even in the Quinnipiac poll, which once analyzed properly showed Trump in the lead, the Quinnipiac news release said that Harris led Trump by a two-point margin. So what and who do you believe when it comes to polls? Just remember a good rule of thumb–that liars figure and figures lie. One of my favorite Bible verses is a warning from Christ concerning the latter days. It’s found in Matthew 24:4 and says, “Take heed that no man deceive you.” Saying that in the last days, perilous times shall come, the Apostle Paul echoes such a warning in 2 Timothy 3:13, “But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.” Deception is key to taking well-intended people off the track of what is right and good. To combat deception, we need discernment, which is found in the Holy Scriptures and under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. We need a lot of wisdom to discern these days. Those wishing to deceive often try to co-opt your support through peer pressure. For example, various media will be conducting their own polls to show you what America is thinking. ABC, MSNBC, CBS, Washington Post, LA Times, Chicago Tribune, New York Times—these and more will be conducting their “polls” to show you how America will vote. Just as these outlets’ stories are biased and passed off as unbiased news, so too, are their polls. To accurately reflect the political situation, polls must be taken from a random sample; the questions must be asked in a way that do not bias the answer; and there can be no leading of the interviewee in any direction by the one asking the questions. The polls taken by the news organizations rarely follow these criteria. Their samplings are biased toward what they perceive as a larger Democratic base and the questions are slanted to lead the interviewee. When running a large political campaign, polling data is imperative. Accurate polling data can mean the difference between winning and losing in a tight race. It can provide trends, messaging guidance, issues, demographics and a whole lot more. But it has to be accurate or the entire campaign will be off. So politicians do not use media polls. They hire a polling company to conduct an accurate poll based on a scientifically drawn, unbiased sampling of the voters. The media, admittedly weighs their samplings toward a Democratic bias because they draw more voters from the Democratic voting base. Also, online polls are suspect because it is difficult to verify who is actually giving the information and how many times they are giving it. As this political season intensifies, believing the polls is, say it with me…Stupidocrisy. Daily Devotion: When Trouble Comes Your Way - by Greg Laurie – www.harvest.org Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid. —Psalm 23:4 https://harvest.org/resources/devotion/when-trouble-comes-your-way/ - Listen We all will go through valleys in life, those hard times when we experience severe trials. We might experience a family problem, a physical difficulty, or even a time of intense temptation. When you face one of these trials, remember this: You are not alone. The Bible says, “Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me” (Psalm 23:4 NLT). That is a great promise to believers. Yet, there are times in our lives when we may not feel God’s presence. Let’s say, for example, that you walk outside on an overcast day and can’t see the sun. You think, “The sun was here yesterday, but I don’t see it today. I don’t feel its warmth. I guess the sun must have gone away.” But the sun hasn’t gone away; the clouds have merely obscured it. In the same way, some Christians falsely conclude that because they don’t feel God, He has disappeared. But He is there, even when we don’t feel Him. And it is during those times that we must walk by faith, not by feeling. God has said in His Word that He will be with us. That is how we know He is there. Speaking through the prophet Isaiah, He said, “When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you” (43:2 NLT). God promised, “I will never fail you. I will never abandon you” (Hebrews 13:5 NLT), and Jesus said to His disciples, “I am with you always, even to the end of the age” (Matthew 28:20 NLT). God doesn’t promise to keep us out of all trouble. But He does promise to be with us in the midst of it. It’s a great thing to know that when the Lord lets His children go through a fiery trial, He always keeps an eye on them and an eye on the thermostat. We must remember to cast our problems upon the Lord and turn them over to Him in times of need. When Mary and Martha saw that their beloved brother, Lazarus, was sick, they sent word to Jesus. They realized they needed God’s help. When the Israelites were griping and complaining about Moses, he cried out to God. When Hezekiah received a threatening letter from a king who wanted to destroy him, he spread that letter out before the Lord. And when John the Baptist was beheaded, his disciples went and told Jesus. Therefore, when trouble comes your way, cast it on Him. Spread it out before Him. Call upon Him. The Bible says, “Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you” (1 Peter 5:7 NLT). You do not serve and follow a God who is disinterested in your life. He is compassionate. He is concerned. And He wants to help you. What on earth are you doing for Heaven's Sake? "Share in the Blessings and Rewards that will last Forever!" "Folks, it's all beginning to unravel. America is in more danger of falling than at any time in its history. But I believe Bible prophecy predicts this very decline. From this point on, we believers have to get serious. We are going to face discouragement, disillusionment and, most certainly, persecution in the time between now and the Rapture. But don't be discouraged or disillusioned. The coming turmoil will provide us unrivaled opportunities to share the good news of the Gospel. So be ready to share your faith and your hope with those who need Christ. We still have time to reap a great harvest of souls for God's kingdom!" - Hal Lindsey 1) We need your prayers!- We proclaim the Truth of the Word of God and we are under constant spiritual and sometimes even physical attack. 2) We need your encouragement!- We need to hear from you, let us know how the Lord is blessing you through this ministry so that we can share it with others. 3) We need your input! - If you have a prophetic article or story or if there is a news related item we missed, let us know. 4) We need your financial support!- To put it quite simply, without your support, there would be no Prophecy Update. I ask that you would prayerfully consider partnering with us to get the Word out and keep the world informed. Remember, your gift, no matter how small, does make a difference! You will be helping to touch lives, around the world, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, thanks to the internet your generosity carries a global impact! - Thanks! Our Prayer for You- "Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. You will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God. This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of God's people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God. Because of the service by which you have proved yourselves, men will praise God for the obedience that accompanies your confession of the gospel of Christ, and for your generosity in sharing with them and with everyone else." 2 Corinthians 9:10-13 If you have been blessed by Prophecy Update and would like to help support this ministry financially.
