The Luciferian Candidate - By Stephen Meehan - https://www.raptureready.com/2024/10/01/the-luciferian-candidate-by-stephen-meehan/
After recently watching a remake of the Hollywood film The Manchurian Candidate, I couldn’t help but notice some similarities between the plot of the movie and recent events that have been transpiring around the globe in the lead-up to the Tribulation period. In the film, a sinister corporation – Manchurian Global – schemes how to get their chosen man into the White House to further their worldwide ambitions for global supremacy. In the present prologue, before the final seven years of human government and world judgments take center stage, it is obvious that Satan is working tirelessly behind the curtain to manipulate his agents and operations into position to be instantly ready for action once the Church is gone and his plot can unfold for his world dominancy. The premise of the movie is to have the globalist corporation working with the military and geneticists to enable two unknowing army personnel to be chipped and implanted with devices that allow the conglomerate to control these men to carry out their devious deeds. The men are unaware that they have been programmed to act at a moment’s notice and only go into action after a mysterious phone call triggers their robotic response. In like manner, Satan uses and controls a select few who have been given over to a reprobate mind and who are in positions of power and influence so that the enemy can coerce them into furthering his agenda. They have been ‘chipped and implanted’ to carry out his desires. They make themselves candidates for spiritual wickedness by pushing God out of their lives and promoting devilish doctrines. Do they do it knowingly? “And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient” (Romans 1:28). A key aspect of the film is the way in which one of the army soldiers is groomed to become a leading political figure to assume control of the White House. The route he takes to get there is eerily similar to what has been playing out in the run-up to the American national election. Life can imitate art, but the devil wastes no opportunity to achieve his goals. The soldier has no previous political experience, other than his father once being a former senator. His mother – a definite HRC type, America’s own Jezebel – is also deeply entrenched in politics and is the one heavily pushing – along with Manchurian Global – to get her son into the White House. The path he takes is like the present-day Democratic Party playbook. Although lacking any prior political expertise, he is nonetheless chosen to replace the current Vice-Presidential running mate to position him in place to maneuver into the top spot on the ticket once the election has been won and the newly elected President has been “dealt” with. But that kind of scenario could never play out in real life, could it? When the two win the national election, it is time for the globalist cartel to remove the president and then install their VP as the one running the country. To do this, the president must be assassinated. They attempt to do this by using another implanted soldier to fire a high-powered rifle to kill the more competent president. Does that sound familiar? Recent events have followed a similar plot line. Two attempts have already failed in trying to destroy a former president now seeking re-election. Will the Satanic globalist entity make another attempt to clear the stage for the rise of their weak, incapable candidate? We read in Scripture that before the antichrist assumes power and takes control of the world’s affairs, 10 kings shall arise and will rule for a very short time before they cede their nation’s sovereignty over to the Beast. “And the ten horns that you saw are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but will receive power as kings one hour with the beast. These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.” (Revelation 17:12-13). For that to occur, Lucifer must have his candidates positioned in key nations around the globe and has begun the process of weakening those countries from within so that they will not be an impediment to the antichrist’s agenda once he is revealed. It is obvious that this is what has been occurring globally. Get rid of the strong nationalist leaders and instead put in the devil’s puppets. Luciferian candidates, front and center, please! America has been bushwhacked and weakened under Obama, Biden, and Harris. These three stooges of the Satanic Global cabal have completely sold themselves out and have been ‘chipped and implanted’ to fulfill their master’s program. Everything that they have accomplished during their time in power has been ungodly, unchristian, and un-American. Apology tours; lighting up the White House in the homosexual “pride” rainbow colors; completely sold out to the promotion and funding of the abortion infanticide; sending billions of dollars to Iran to allow them to go nuclear; opening up our borders to allow in those who hate America; stabbing Israel in the back; weakening our military by the WOKE nonsense; promote the “transgender” mutilation of boys and girls and disregard the protests of non-consenting parents; the failed Afghanistan pull out, leaving behind billions of dollars’ worth of military hardware for the Taliban to use; attempts to defund the police; and a myriad of other insane policies that have only one goal – to destroy the United States of America from within and carry out their master’s directives. Where else are we seeing signs of the once great nations of the world capitulating to the Luciferian apparatus? It is not a stretch to include the following nations that are already in the process of ceding their sovereignty to the soon-coming antichrist: Canada, Australia, Great Britain, and most of Europe. Who can deny that these countries are falling/failing? The globalists, including the pope, are strongly encouraging and demanding that most countries open their borders to allow an influx of Muslim immigrants. This kind of activity can only have one outcome and desire by those pushing for it: to weaken the host nations, cause internal strife, and create enough chaos to ripen the conditions needed for the Beast to set up his operations. This is treachery and treason of the highest order. It is satanic. Luciferian candidates must be established in each of the key nations of the world to grease the wheels of the devilish steamroller, flattening away every obstacle in its path for Satan to assume control and carry out his globalist conquest. Nothing will be allowed to stop it. One such candidate is being propelled forward presently in America. She is too incompetent to even be allowed to give press conferences. She has no political expertise. She is weaker than her former boss. The media is covering for her. In debates, they collude with her. She has no business being the Commander in Chief of the richest, strongest, and most influential nation in the world. She is the perfect empty suit for the enemy to control and to hasten the demise of our once great land. She will be robotic to his commands. Will the other candidate then be eliminated before the voting gets underway? Could it happen on election night, as in the film? Or, before stepping back into the Oval Office? It might be in the script. As close as it appears to be before the Rapture happens and the Tribulation starts, it seems that there is not enough time left for the allowance of a second timeout from the trajectory that our nation finds itself on. The inevitable will happen. The foretelling of our country’s demise is hinted at in Scripture. Make America Great Again is not Satan’s nor the Democrats’ goal. They prefer to Make America Go Away. Make us weak. Get rid of the deplorables. Shut down conservatism. Burn the Constitution. Control the media. Open the door for the Beast. Bring on world government. Set the stage for the emergence of Satan’s true Luciferian Candidate – the AC. “For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled” (Revelation 17:17). [email protected] When Christians Don’t Vote, ‘We Open The Door For Every Evil Ideology To Fill The Vacuum’ – Susan Bowdey - https://harbingersdaily.com/when-christians-dont-vote-we-open-the-door-for-every-evil-ideology-to-fill-the-vacuum/ While Kamala Harris’s numbers are starting to come back to earth after a disastrous vice presidential debate, things have never looked better for the Californian’s campaign. As much as people have come to rely on the ebbs and flows of public opinion, longtime strategists know that there’s a better predictor of how Democrats will do — and that’s the evangelical vote. Or, as the 2024 numbers warn, the lack thereof. According to some truly shocking statistics from George Barna at Arizona Christian University (ACU), as many as 41 million Christians plan to sit this election out — more than enough to hand the country’s keys to the eager and radical Left. For Donald Trump’s opponent, the news that one of the Dems’ biggest obstacles to victory is voluntarily shirking their civic duty is cause for premature celebration. Incredibly, the research, conducted between August and September, suggests that 41 million self-described born-again Christians are “unlikely” to vote in the November election. To Len Munsil, president of ACU, that spells disaster. “I see two huge takeaways from this blockbuster report,” he explained. “First, that Christians could be the deciding factor in a bunch of federal and state races — and are choosing not to be. And second,” he continued, “that they are longing for their local church to instruct them on how to think biblically about policy and politics. They don’t want to be told how to vote,” Munsil added, “but they do want to know why they should vote and how to view political issues from a biblical framework.” When Christians were asked to explain their complacency, 68% replied that they aren’t interested in politics, followed by 57% who dislike both presidential candidates, and another 52% who believe their vote won’t make a difference. In a sad sign of where we are as a country, 48% also worry that the election results will be manipulated. Of course, one of the most problematic aspects of this passivity is that November 5 involves a lot more than the White House. In fact, Family Research Council President Tony Perkins argues, many would contend that there are “much more important decisions than the presidency on the state and local ballot. Control of the House and Senate hangs in the balance. Governors, state attorneys general, local school boards, even comptrollers are amassing major victories in protecting children from radical gender ideology, pushing back on corporate America’s woke agenda, fighting the Biden administration’s lawless overreach, and passing sweeping pro-life and pro-parent laws,” he wrote in Decision magazine, “Americans have several other issues to be mindful of as we head to the polls.” In our hands rest “the hopes of soldiers on foreign battlefields, the persecuted church in faraway lands and the peace of God’s chosen nation Israel (Numbers 24:9),” Perkins warned. And yet, this church-wide short-sightedness threatens to leave everyone from our global neighbors to our next-door neighbors without help or hope. “Think about what has happened here in America in just the last 35 years,” Cornerstone Chapel Senior Pastor Gary Hamrick told the Pray Vote Stand Summit on Saturday. “Think about some of these things. There’s been gender confusion. There’s been marriage redefinition. There’s been a disregard for life. There’s become environmental worship, the stripping of parental authority, the deterioration of religious liberties, and the list goes on and on.” How “absurd,” he went on, that in a matter of a generation, “people are now trying to figure out what bathroom to use. Businesses are being sued for not baking cakes or doing graphic designs for same-sex weddings. The nanny state has approved pornographic reading material in many public school systems. … It’s illegal to disturb sea turtles in South Florida, but not illegal to abort babies from a womb. This is complete insanity.” And frankly, Hamrick declared, “We have no one to blame but ourselves.” “There are 90 million self-identified evangelical Christians eligible to vote in the United States of America,” and according to George Barna a healthy slice of them will refuse to. “Let me tell you what happens when we are not involved in the political process,” he said somberly. “We open the door for every evil ideology to fill the vacuum. When we decide we’re going to check out, we’re not going to be involved, we’re not going to be politically engaged, all we do is open the door for more of the same evil agenda and ideology. Why is it that so many Christians are sitting out on the sidelines? Why [is there] such political apathy in our world? Because a lot of Christians think that politics is a dirty word that they don’t want to be involved in. ‘We will leave the world of politics up to the rest of the world,’ they would say, and then wonder why every evil has filled the vacuum.” If you thought the last 35 years was disturbing, imagine the next 35. “…We are one generation away from losing what is valuable and precious and sacred,” Hamrick warned. This trend of political indifference and disgust is in spite of the Scripture’s clear teaching that government — like the family and the church — is an institution created and established by God. “Why is it that when it comes to the family, people are protective of the family, Christians in particular? Why is it when it comes to the church, Christians in particular want to care for the church and defend the church? But then when it comes to this third institution, the second one that God ordained, [and] all of a sudden people say, ‘Well, that one doesn’t need my involvement, that one doesn’t need my participation, that one doesn’t need for me to be engaged.’” Look, church, Hamrick urged, “God has called us in 2 Corinthians 5:20 to be his ambassadors. An ambassador is one who represents another official or dignitary. Our dignitary that we are representing is the Lord Jesus Christ Himself, and He calls us to represent him in every facet and aspect of life. That means we represent him in the job. That means we represent Him in the family. That means we represent Him in the church. That means we represent Him in our neighborhood, where we go to school, where we interact on every level with every person. God calls us to be his ambassadors. We don’t stop being ambassadors because we think, ‘Well, government is a dirty word. Politics is a dirty word. We don’t want to be engaged in all that. We’ll just leave that to other people’ — other people who will continue to take it down the progressive path it’s on right now and destroy this nation.” It’s a point that Calvary Chapel Chino Hills Senior Pastor Jack Hibbs reiterated in his own remarks. “We are citizens of heaven. We are to act like heaven. We are to represent heaven. We are to speak about the things that concern heaven.” Does that mean we have to be excited about the choices before us? Absolutely not. But as God’s people, we should all want a president “that will save more babies’ lives than Kamala Harris,” he argued. That doesn’t mean Donald Trump can save this country. As Hibbs acknowledged, “There’s no politician, including Trump, that can affect the soul of this nation. You’re the only one. The answer is not in the statehouse. And it’s not going to be in the White House. It’s got to be in your own house. It’s got to be in the [house] of God.” If your response is, “Well, I don’t vote,” then “you need to repent,” Hibbs insisted. “Every opportunity God gives us, we are to use it to the advancement of His kingdom. And voting is the easiest. We fire no bullets,” he pointed out. “We don’t pull out any swords. There [aren’t] tanks in the street. We just get up and go vote.” And get over trying to find the perfect candidate, Hamrick admonished. “There is no candidate who is the full package because Jesus is not on the ballot. There is no perfect person running,” he pointed out, “and God has used both righteous leaders and unrighteous leaders all through the Bible to accomplish his good purposes.” But, the Cornerstone leader cautioned, “If we see the rising tide of evil in our land and we decide to do nothing, we are ceding ground to the enemy, and we are being unfaithful to our calling as ambassadors for Christ.” ENTER OUR DONATION DRAWING A Chance to Win a Brand New 24-inch iMac with Retina 4.5K display -- most importantly, you will be helping to Support Prophecy Update! The scariest parable Jesus ever told - By Robin Schumacher - https://www.christianpost.com/voices/the-scariest-parable-jesus-ever-told.html Sometimes what I read in the Bible scares me, and I mean it literally sends a shiver down my spine where I physically twitch. How about you? It happened again just the other day as I was reading through Matthew’s Gospel. I came to chapter 22 and the parable of the marriage feast, which I’m telling you is, hands down, the scariest parable Jesus ever told. Let’s walk through it together and I’ll show you why it floors me every time. Why parables? Before we start, let’s understand what Jesus’ parables really were. They weren’t sermon illustrations or a friendly type of sage-driven storytelling, but rather a form of judgment handed down after Israel’s religious leaders formally rejected Christ and equated His work with the devil. You can read about it in the 12th chapter of Matthew, which is the book’s “hinge” chapter. You also see the same thing in Mark 3. After Jesus’ rejection comes the parables and their reason: “The disciples came and said to Him, ‘Why do You speak to them in parables?’ Jesus answered them, ‘To you it has been granted to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been granted. For whoever has, to him more shall be given, and he will have an abundance; but whoever does not have, even what he has shall be taken away from him. Therefore I speak to them in parables; because while seeing they do not see, and while hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand’” (Matt. 13:10–13). Let’s now dive into this particular one, which can be broken up into three distinct sections: 1. the rejected invitation and its consequences (verses 1–7); 2. the gathering of the other wedding guests (verses 8–10); and 3. the improperly clothed guest (verses 11–14). God’s promises go both ways Jesus spoke to them again in parables, saying, “The kingdom of heaven may be compared to a king who gave a wedding feast for his son. And he sent out his slaves to call those who had been invited to the wedding feast, and they were unwilling to come. Again he sent out other slaves saying, ‘Tell those who have been invited, Behold, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and my fattened livestock are all butchered and everything is ready; come to the wedding feast.’ But they paid no attention and went their way, one to his own farm, another to his business, and the rest seized his slaves and mistreated them and killed them. But the king was enraged, and he sent his armies and destroyed those murderers and set their city on fire” (vv. 1–7). Given what we know now, the first part of the parable isn’t difficult to interpret. The idea of the marriage feast draws a straight line to the one associated with Christ’s eschatological triumph — the marriage supper of the Lamb found in Rev. 19:7–9. We first see the grace and patience of the king [God] in sending multiple messengers calling people to the event. The first envoys represent the Old Testament prophets sent to Israel, while the second group likely denotes John the Baptist, Jesus and his disciples, and those afterward like Paul. This brings to mind what Jeremiah was inspired to say to ancient Israel: “Since the day that your fathers came out of the land of Egypt until this day, I have sent you all My servants the prophets, daily rising early and sending them. Yet they did not listen to Me or incline their ear but stiffened their neck” (Jer. 7:25–26). And what happened to those who “stiffened their neck” at God? This is where things first start to get scary. Scripture tells us repeatedly that there is a limit to God’s patience (Gen. 6:3; Prov. 29:1; Dan. 5:22–31; Matt. 21:40–44; Luke 13:9; Rev. 2:21, 22). We talk a lot about God keeping His promises about salvation, but we can forget He is also a promise keeper when it comes to His judgment. You don’t need a more terrifying illustration of this than 70 AD, which proved that God's judgment does fall, just as Jesus promised in the parable. The historian Josephus says this about the destruction of Jerusalem, which Jesus was referencing: “While the sanctuary was burning … neither pity for age nor respect for rank was shown; on the contrary, children and old people, laity and priests alike were massacred” (VI.271). It’s believed that more than a million Jews perished and afterwards, Israel ceased to exist as a significant nation. God indeed “was enraged, and he sent his armies and destroyed those murderers and set their city on fire,” just as Jesus stated. And if He kept His promise of judgment for them, what about us? Scary to think about? You bet. God’s general call Next, we read: Then he [the king] said to his slaves, “The wedding is ready, but those who were invited were not worthy. Go therefore to the main highways, and as many as you find there, invite to the wedding feast.” Those slaves went out into the streets and gathered together all they found, both evil and good; and the wedding hall was filled with dinner guests (vv. 8–10). I doubt this part is hard for you to figure out. When Israel stiff-arms Christ, others are brought to Him, mostly from the Gentiles (cf. 8:11, 12; 21:41), though other Jews can’t be excluded. This is what Jesus talked about in John when He said, “I have other sheep, which are not of this fold; I must bring them also, and they will hear My voice; and they will become one flock with one shepherd” (John 10:16). This part of the parable isn’t frightening at all but is instead comforting to read: “…and the wedding was filled with guests.” But it isn’t over; don’t miss the fact that those who were brought in were “both evil and good”. Let’s see what happens next. Speechless before God But when the king came in to look over the dinner guests, he saw a man there who was not dressed in wedding clothes, and he said to him, “Friend, how did you come in here without wedding clothes?” And the man was speechless. Then the king said to the servants, “Bind him hand and foot, and throw him into the outer darkness; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” For many are called, but few are chosen (vv.11–14). This part really gets to me. The third section can be thought of as another parable, making this a double-edged statement, which may be why the chapter opens with Matthew saying Jesus spoke to them again “by parables” (plural). Suddenly, the king (God) appears to look over the guests, an act representing the omniscient inspection of every professed believer in Jesus that will occur one day. The fact that “both good and evil” are present at the feast is something seen in another parable — the dragnet — found in Matthew 13:47–50. The king finds a man who isn’t properly clothed for the event and stands “speechless” before the king, who promptly casts him out of his wedding event’s light and into darkness. But wait a minute — why is the king upset that the guy isn’t appropriately dressed? Weren’t all the guests quickly hurried to the feast as they were? Near East historians tell us it was customary for prominent hosts of major events to provide suitable garments for their guests. 2 Kings 10:22 details one such occurrence done even at pagan affairs: “He said to the one who was in charge of the wardrobe, ‘Bring out garments for all the worshipers of Baal.’ So he brought out garments for them”. The only way the man would be without such a provision and still in his own clothes is if he declined the king’s garment. Just like the original guests who turned down the king’s initial invitation and met with terrible consequences, we have a dreadful repeat. The lesson? You don’t come into the presence of the King of kings clothed in your own righteousness. Instead, you want to say with Isaiah: “I will rejoice greatly in the LORD, my soul will exult in my God; for He has clothed me with garments of salvation, He has wrapped me with a robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself with a garland, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels” (Is. 61:10). Paul tells us, “For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ” (Gal. 3:27). And we don’t do this ourselves because, like the parable says at the end, “many are called, but few are chosen” (vs.14). Salvation, then, in the final analysis, is not a human accomplishment but the gift of God’s sovereign grace. To those of us clothed by God, we will hear “Enter into the joy of your Master” (Matt. 25:21). But those who refuse the righteousness offered them will have a different fate: “I will punish the princes, and the king’s children, and all such as are clothed with strange apparel” (Zeph. 1:8). There’s that shiver down my spine again. At the end of the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus didn’t use a parable to get His point across, but plainly said: “On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness’” (Matt. 7:22–23). May we never hear those words. Take the King’s robe now if you haven’t already. We Shall See Jesus! - By Dennis Huebshman - https://www.raptureready.com/2024/10/09/we-shall-see-jesus-by-dennis-huebshman/ Luke 21:25-28; “And there will be signs in the sun and moon and stars, and on the earth distress of nations in perplexity because of the roaring of the sea and the waves; people fainting with fear and with foreboding of what is coming on the world. For the powers of the heavens will be shaken. And then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with great power and great glory. Now when these things begin to take place, straighten up and raise your heads, because your redemption is drawing near” (ESV – all emphasis is mine). Revelation 1:7; “Behold, He is coming with the clouds, and every eye shall see Him, even those who pierced Him, and all tribes of the earth will wail on account of Him. Even so, Amen.” Then, 1 John 3:2; “Beloved, we are God’s children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared; but we know that when He appears, we shall be like Him because we shall see Him as He is.” These are just a couple verses referencing two different times. The Luke and Revelation verses are obviously about Jesus returning to the earth at the end of the tribulation. The John verse is a reference to our being taken up to meet the Savior in the air to be kept from the wrath of God. This is found in 1 Thessalonians 1:10, 1 Thessalonians 5:9-10 and Revelation 3:10. When the Rapture takes place (1 Thessalonians 4:13-17 and 1 Corinthians 15:51-53), only those who were in God’s will prior to the crucifixion of our Savior, and all who will have received and accepted Jesus from Calvary to that moment will be taken up to meet Our Savior in the air. Even though a significant number of people from around the world will disappear, it will be over before those who have not received Jesus could even blink an eye. In 1 Corinthians 15:52, “in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the Trumpet will sound and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed.” Should anyone try to say the trumpet is part of the Trumpet Judgments of Revelation, 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 states, “For the Lord Himself will descend from Heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel and with the sound of the Trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we shall always be with the Lord.” Before there is any misunderstanding about the number of those who will be raptured, Jesus stated in Matthew 7:13-14, “Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction. For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few.” From the very beginning, the “easy” part for humans has been to accept the ways of this world. The hard part is to sincerely believe that: Admitting we all are sinners; Believing Jesus is truly a part of the Holy Trinity who is referred to as God’s Son and who came to this earth as a human to provide the only sinless blood sacrifice for our sins that the Father could ever accept; and finally all who Call on the name of the Lord will be saved. That’s found in Romans 10:9-13. Those who are truly a part of the Shepherd’s flock right now are definitely looking forward to seeing loved ones who have gone on ahead. However, my greatest wish is to see My Jesus for the first time and to bow down to Him and kiss the feet that walked this earth for my benefit. He could have just as easily decided we weren’t worth His efforts and could have left us to fend for ourselves. If that had happened, no one would be able to enter Heaven. However, John 10:18 states, “No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of My own accord. I have authority to lay it down, and I have authority to take it up again. This charge I have received from My Father.” Is it any wonder that all who have received and accepted Jesus are totally looking forward to the day we’re taken off this sin-filled planet? A song written in 1983 by Dianne Wilkinson (1944-2021) was performed regularly by the Southern Gospel Group, The Cathedrals. It is titled “We Shall See Jesus.” 1.) Once on a hillside, people were gathered, hoping to see Him as thousands were fed. He touched the blind eyes, healed broken spirits; He moved with compassion while He raised up the dead. 2.) Once on a hillside, people were gathered, watching as Jesus was crucified. No one showed mercy to the One who had healed them. Yet Jesus loved them as He suffered and died. 3.) Once on a hillside, people were gathered; for Jesus had risen and soon would ascend. Then as He blessed them, He rose to the heavens, and gave them His promise to come back again. 4.) We shall see Jesus, just as they saw Him; there’s no greater promise than this. When He returns in power and glory, we shall see Jesus; we shall see Jesus, just as He is. Our Savior’s sacrifice was for all humans, not just the Jews. John 10:16; “And I have other sheep that are not of this fold. I must bring them also, and they will listen to My voice. So there will be one flock, one Shepherd.” Please note, God’s chosen people, the Jews, do not get a free ride into Heaven. They have the same obligation to receive and accept Yeshua as their true Messiah as everyone else. Those that have already done so are known as “Messianic Jews.” In today’s overall Jewish population worldwide, it’s estimated that only about 2% to 3% are Messianic. At the Rapture, those Messianic Jews will be taken up to be with Jesus along with all other believers from around the world. All of us will receive new immortal and imperishable bodies along with a mindset like our Savior’s. For all non-believing Jews, they will become special people to be persecuted by the ultimate antichrist. In Zechariah 13:8-9, their final outcome is stated as, “In the whole land, declares the Lord, two-thirds shall be cut off and perish, and one-third shall be left alive. And I will put this third into the fire, and refine them as one refines silver and test them as gold is tested They will call upon My name, and I will answer them. I will say, ‘They are My people, and they will say the Lord is My God.'” No one can earn their way into Heaven by doing works, nor can anyone buy their way to get there. Ephesians 2:8-9 is very specific with: “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not your own doing, it is the gift of God, not a result of works so that no one may boast.” One thing that is absolutely certain is that our God will not lie (Titus 1:2). What He has given to us in His Love Letter (Bible) is His promise of where we will spend eternity based on the decisions we make. He will force no one to accept His Son, but will accept all who truly do. Looking at all the “end-of-this-age signs” that are given to us in the Bible, it is obvious that the last major sign to be completed – The Rapture – is almost at hand. The ultimate antichrist cannot appear until the Holy Spirit is removed, as given in 2 Thessalonians 2, and by removing the Holy Spirit, all who are indwelt by Him must be taken up as well. That will be the Rapture, which will open the door on Earth for the appearance of the final antichrist. All who are left behind will go through the absolute worst seven-year period of time this earth has ever experienced. That’s why we try so hard to follow our Savior’s Great Commission to get His word out worldwide about gaining Salvation. We are not guaranteed tomorrow, as the Rapture could occur at any moment. Please, if you haven’t done so yet, consider asking Jesus to forgive you and come into your heart and be your eternal Savior. The only other option is to take your last breath without Him and spend eternity in the lake of fire with Satan and all his demons. Definitely hope to see you at the feet of our Savior when, not if, the time is here. Shalom! (Peace) Maranatha! (Come, Lord Jesus!) [email protected] Daily Jot: The ugly and beauty of Helene—a first-hand account - Bill Wilson – www.dailyjot.com There has been a lot of discussion and back and forth about Hurricane Helene, its devastation and whether the “government” is doing all it can to save lives, assist with rebuilding and restore normalcy. All that aside, my friend Linda Bishop was part of a church group that actually went onsite to assist those in need. She raised money, helped with supplies, and actively participated in recovery operations in Black Mountain and Swannanoa, N.C. Her report is a testament to the nature of true Americans, bonded together as sons and daughters of the one true God, with resilience, tenacity, and kindness. She shared with The Daily Jot some of that beauty she experienced in her ventures to help. Linda writes: “Hurricane Helene left so much devastation, some beyond comprehension. My town was hit very hard and recovery continues. There are still homes without power, but businesses are open and life is getting back to normal. But, how do we process what we’ve seen? How do the people in the devastated areas keep going amongst the devastation, the lives lost, homes destroyed, roads gone, towns wiped out, infrastructures destroyed, and the list goes on? In the midst of this ugly destruction there is also much beauty found in the spirt of those impacted. I’ve witnessed a mountain community of about 100 homes that had at least four large mudslides and trapped people in their homes move from 50% maneuverable roads to 100% in just two days. All because the people in this little community worked hard together. “In this same community, I witnessed the story of people who decided to leave, for now, and give their food to those who have decided to stay. I saw this little community coming together and having meals together, sharing what they have with each other. Declining our offer of supplies saying they had what they needed, they asked us to take them to others in greater need. Despite their own devastation, they were thinking beyond themselves. A woman who lived in another community put many cases of water on her front lawn so those in need could take it anytime. Turning away our supplies, she asked us to find others who needed them more. An 84-year old woman in an assisted-living home was able to get back into her apartment because some guys from another town brought a chainsaw and moved fallen trees away from her place. This woman had been sleeping on her friend’s sofa for a week. “I witnessed a story of some people turning away a gas can full of fuel because they didn’t need it. Again, no hoarding there. That same gas can was used in the car of a young woman who was found sitting on the side of a road because she had just run out of gas. These acts from people in so much devastation and destruction are at the core of how we should live as Christians.” Sometimes disasters bring out the best in people. This is like an Acts 5:32 moment where they “were of one heart and of one soul: No one claimed that any of his possessions was his own, but they shared everything they owned.” While the conspiracy theorists and politicians can argue what’s important to them, the survivors of Helene are giving their best to one another. From the ugliness of Helene comes the beauty of human kindness. Daily Devotion: Why Believers Need a Biblical Worldview - by Greg Laurie – www.harvest.org Don’t let anyone capture you with empty philosophies and high-sounding nonsense that come from human thinking and from the spiritual powers of this world, rather than from Christ. —Colossians 2:8 https://harvest.org/resources/devotion/why-believers-need-a-biblical-worldview/ - Listen Everybody has a worldview—a way of looking at, reacting to, and navigating this life. The question is, do you have a biblical worldview? The way to develop a biblical worldview is to read, memorize, and internalize God’s Word. To fill your mind with the truths of Scripture. As those truths become second nature to you, your thinking starts to change. Your priorities start to change. Your perspective starts to change. Your attitude starts to change. And your actions start to change. As Christians, our worldview should align with Jesus’ worldview as much as possible. And if you want to know what Jesus’ worldview is, read the Sermon on the Mount in Matthew 5–7. Do you want to know what Jesus thinks? Read the sermon. (And by the way, you can read the entire sermon in one sitting.) Do you want to know how His heart really beats? Study the sermon. Do you want to know how He feels about living life in general? Read the sermon. Not only is the Sermon on the Mount the longest recorded message that Jesus ever gave, but it’s also one of the most beautiful and best-known portions of Scripture. In it, you’ll discover that a biblical worldview influences every aspect of the way you live your life. How you express your anger. How you express generosity. How you pray and fast. How you establish healthy priorities and pursue what’s truly important. How you deal with anxiety and uncertainty about the future. How you take full advantage of God’s generosity with a truly grateful heart. How you build your life on a solid foundation. You’ll also find that a biblical worldview influences the way you interact with others. How you repair damaged relationships. How you respond to people who have wronged you. How you treat your enemies. How you judge others. How you avoid being a hypocrite. How you live the Golden Rule. How you ensure that other people see Christ in you. And you’ll discover that a biblical worldview influences the way you react to events. If you have a biblical worldview, you won’t panic when evil seems to be winning. You won’t see a world spinning out of control. Instead, you’ll draw on your knowledge of biblical prophecy. You’ll see that events are unfolding as God determines. You’ll see His hand in the things happening around you. Instead of panicking, you’ll rejoice and prepare as you anticipate the return of Christ and eternity with God.
