Unelected officials called globalists, the Global Elite, the Shadow Government, and various other names want to create and run a New World Order.
 
A New World Order implies the demise of the current world order.
 
The slogan of many globalists (including the Biden Administration, the UN, and Pope Francis) has been “Build Back Better,” but to build back, the current world order must be destroyed first.
 
To Build Back Better implies a better world, but globalists are really trying to gain total control of everyone on earth (our religious system, our political system, our economic system; what we buy, what we sell, what we say, what we own, where we live, where we work, who we worship, and more).
 
Concerning world government: on July 24, 2024, the Activist Post posted an article by Derrick Broze (journalist, author, radio host, and more) titled “The UN Will Sign the Pact of the Future in 60 Days – Here’s Why It Matters.”
 
Here are just a few things Broze said:
 
·       The Summit of the Future will be voted on at the 79th UN General Assembly meeting in New York City on Sept. 22-23.
·       Member states are expected to declare a planetary emergency as part of the so-called Pact for the Future.
·       The Summit of the Future website says the outcome of the Pact for the Future will be “a world – and an international system – that is better prepared to manage the challenges we face now.”
·       UN member states are also likely to vote to radically alter the UN itself – what some are calling UN 2.0 – and the very nature of how nation-states make decisions regarding the future of the planet.
 
Having said this, I thought I would give you my understanding of how this new international system (the last Gentile world government) will develop.
 
It is my understanding that it will develop in phases or stages (Dan. 7:23-28).
 
Phase 1: A kingdom will devour the whole earth (probably an altered U.N.).
 
·       The U.N. is not a world government now (I have often called it the United Nothing).
·       But many people are working to turn it into a world government.
 
Phase 2: This world kingdom will be divided into ten regions (probably ten political, economic, or health regions with one leader over each region (It will be a G-10).
 
·       It won’t be ten regions in a revived kingdom of Iron (the EU).
·       It will be ten regions in the kingdom of Iron plus Clay (the EU plus others; ten regions in the world, not ten regions in the EU).
 
Phase 3: Each region will appoint a leader or king, giving us ten leaders or ten kings (one leader for each of the ten regions).
 
Phase 4: After the ten Kings or ten regions appear, an eleventh leader (the Antichrist) will rise to power (out of the European region, according to Daniel 9:26).
 
·       This eleventh king will be diverse from the ten (Dan. 9:24).
·       He won’t be one of the ten.
·       He will be the eleventh (the Antichrist).
 
Phase 5: The Antichrist will subdue three kings (forcefully take over three of the ten regions; Dan. 7:24).
 
Phase 6: The heads of the other seven regions will agree to give their power and authority to the Antichrist (Rev. 17:12-13).
 
According to the Bible, the Antichrist will rise to power as a highly respected man of peace, but after he is given control of the entire world, he will transform his government into a Satanic world government (Dan. 9:26:27; Rev. 6:2; 17:11).
 
Phase 7: The Antichrist will blaspheme God and persecute the saints (Jews and those saved after the Rapture; Isa. 45:4; Rev. 12:17) for three and one-half years (Dan. 7:25; Rev. 13:5-7).
 
Phase 8: His dominion will be taken away from him (Dan. 2:34-35; 7:26; Rev. 19:11-21).
 
Phase 9: God will establish the Millennial Kingdom.
 
Phase 10: The Church and Tribulation Saints will reign with Jesus during the Millennium (Rev. 20:6).
 
The harder people try to set up a world government, the more things seem to go to pot.
 
Too many people have their own agendas.
 
Too many are trying to impose their will on everyone else.
 
Anyway, what happens at the Summit of the Future at the 79th UN General Assembly meeting in New York City on Sept. 22-23 could be incredibly significant.
 
Here are some recent reports that seem to indicate that the end of the age is close:
 
One, concerning all nations, including the U.S., turning against Israel at the end of the age: God can bring good out of every crisis, and here is how He is doing it:
 
·       God is teaching the Jews to trust Him, and they are becoming more spiritual.
·       God is causing more Jews to immigrate to Israel.
·       When the U.S. started withholding heavy bombs and slowing delivery of smaller bombs, God inspired Israel to build the facilities it needs to develop and produce the bombs it must have rather than to depend on other nations.
·       God has inspired Israel to greatly expand its inventory of weapons (increase its inventory of tanks, tank ammunition, ships, jets, etc.).
 
(More: On Aug. 25, 2024, it was reported that 600 Jews from foreign nations – 200 from the U.S. and Canada – are expected to relocate to Israel this week.)
 
(More: On Aug. 27, 2024, it was reported that 30,000 Jews have immigrated to Israel in the 11 months since the Oct. 7 Hamas attack.)
 
(FYI: God made an everlasting covenant to give all the Promised Land to Abraham and his descendants through Isaac and Jacob forever; Gen. 17:7-8, 18-21; 28:13. God said He would put the disobedient Jews off the land on different occasions, but He would bring them back before the Tribulation period, and they would never be removed again; Gen. 17:7-8, 18-21; 28:13; Isa. 11:11-12; 54:7-8; 66:7-10; Ezek. 36:24-28; 37:21-22; Amos 9:14-15. The return of the Jews to Israel is God’s doing. Israel must build and expand settlements to provide housing, schools, utilities, water, medical and shopping facilities for them, etc. Those that oppose the building and expansion of settlements are opposing what God is doing, and no weapon formed against Israel shall prosper because God’s promises must be fulfilled; Isa. 54:17. And some of this opposition in the West is due in part to preachers not understanding or talking about what God is doing.)
 
Two, concerning America’s attitude toward Israel: on Aug. 22, 2024, U.S. Vice-Pres. Kamala Harris told the Democratic National Convention (DNC):
 
Let me be clear: I will always stand up for Israel’s right to defend itself, and I will always ensure Israel has the ability to defend itself.
 
At the same time, what has happened in Gaza over the past 10 months is devastating. So many innocent lives lost. Desperate, hungry people fleeing for safety over and over again. The scale of suffering is heartbreaking.
We (Biden and her) are working to end this war, such that Israel is secure, the hostages are released, the suffering in Gaza ends, and the Palestinian people can realize their right to dignity, security, freedom, and self-determination.
 
Richard Goldberg, a senior adviser at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, understood what Harris said this way:
 
Harris just made clear she is for Israel’s defense from terrorists but opposes its offense against terrorists.
 
She will support Israel when the Jews are defending their nation, but she will not support the Jews when they go on offense against their enemies.
 
(On Aug. 23, 2024, it was reported that Abraham Foxman, longtime leader of the Anti-Defamation League, who now serves as director emeritus, said, “After 50 years fighting anti-Semitism in America, I could not have imagined a time Jews would have to meet in secret locations in Chicago at DNC.”)
 
Three, concerning corruption in Washington and the upcoming election: on Aug. 23, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. dropped out of the 2024 presidential race and endorsed former pres. Donald Trump.
 
He said three things caused him to leave the Democratic Party and run as an independent, and now to support Pres. Trump: the Democrat’s attack on free speech, their support for the war in Ukraine, and their attack on our children.
 
Kennedy said the Democratic Party has abandoned Democracy and the American values his father and uncle lived and died for.
 
He said the Democratic Party he described has abandoned its roots as the party of the working class, government transparency, and environmental stewardship.
 
He called Democrats the party of war, censorship, corruption, big Pharma, big tech, and big money.
 
Four, concerning wars and rumors of wars: on Aug. 18, 2024, Global Research posted an article by Peter Koenig titled, “A NATO invasion of nuclear Russia is currently underway, and the world is unaware that it is in World War III.”
 
Koenig asked, “Has President Putin’s Patience Reached Its Limits?”
 
He said, “Step by step, Washington and its NATO partners have been crossing one red line after the other.”
 
·       First, NATO weapons in Ukraine.
·       Then NATO troops in Ukraine.
·       Then F-16 fighter jets in Ukraine.
·       Then NATO soldiers commanding the sophisticated weaponry supplied by the West.
·       Then NATO troops on Russian territories; then NATO drones and aircraft attacking Russian targets on Russian territory – and finally NATO troops attempting to take over an entire Russian district, taking Russian prisoners, killing Russians.
 
Five, concerning wars and rumors of wars: on Aug. 23, 2024, Germany said they have spotted drones (that they believe are Russian surveillance drones) repeatedly flying in a no-fly area over key nuclear plants in Germany.
 
Six, concerning wars and rumors of wars: on Aug. 24, 2024, Russia accused Ukraine of attempting to attack a Russian nuclear power plant with a drone.
 
Seven, concerning wars and rumors of wars: on Aug. 23, 2024, Israeli intelligence learned that Hezbollah was preparing to launch a large number of rockets and missiles at Israel.
 
Israel struck first with about 100 jets attacking thousands of Hezbollah rocket launchers (many in civilian neighborhoods).
 
Prime Min. Netanyahu said, “What happened today is not the end of the story.”
 
On Aug. 25, 2024, Hezbollah fired about 320 rockets and suicide drones at Israel, but Israel destroyed most of them.
 
Hezbollah called this the first phase of its response to Israel for assassinating one of its top leaders.
 
(My opinion: It makes me wonder how many strikes Israel needs and how many phases Hezbollah needs before we call this an all-out war.)
 
(More: In the past, Hezbollah said they will stop attacking Israel when there is a ceasefire in Gaza, but on Aug. 25. 2024, following Israel’s acceptance of the latest ceasefire proposal, Hamas rejected it.)
 
(More: On Aug. 27, 2024, an Israeli military official said Hamas is in shock over how many planes Israel used and how many targets they hit in a brief period.)
 
Eight, concerning wars and rumors of wars, Iran’s effort to destroy Israel, and the failure of the UN: on Aug. 25, 2024, Danny Danon, Israel’s ambassador to the UN, sent a letter to the UN Security Council (UNSC) that said in part:
 
·       The State of Lebanon and the Hezbollah terrorist organization, which is operating under the guidance of Iran, bear responsibility for the deterioration of the security situation on the northern front.
·       Since the day after the October 7 massacre, Hezbollah has launched over 7,500 rockets and hundreds of explosive UAVS at Israel, resulting in extensive damage and the ongoing evacuation of over 60,000 civilians from northern Israel.
·       These actions have been carried out as part of a wider strategy by the Iranian axis aimed at the destruction of Israel through attacks from multiple fronts.
·       The Hezbollah attack against Israel planned for this morning unequivocally demonstrates the presence of illegal weapons in southern Lebanon in flagrant violation of UNSCR 1701 (2006), and serves as a reminder of the threats Israelis have been facing on a daily basis for the past 11 months.
·       This situation highlights the urgent need to demilitarize the area south of the Litani River and achieve the disarmament of Hezbollah and other armed militias operating in southern Lebanon.
·       I call upon the Security Council members to condemn in the strongest terms the ongoing hostilities conducted by Hezbollah and its Iranian patron and their relentless attempts to destabilize the region.
 
(My opinion: U.S. contributions to the UN are a waste of money.)
 
Nine, concerning lying and deceit in the White House and FBI: on Aug. 24, 2024, Meta (Facebook) CEO Mark Zuckerberg triggered a firestorm by sending a letter to the U.S. House of Representatives Judiciary Committee admitting that he caved to pressure from the Biden-Harris administration and censored U.S. citizens’ posts about Covid-19.
 
Zuckerberg also acknowledged that he caved to pressure from the FBI and made information on the Hunter Biden laptop story harder to find during the 2020 presidential election (the FBI falsely claimed that the laptop story was Russian disinformation).
 
(More: On the same day that Zuckerberg sent his letter to the Judiciary Committee, Telegram’s CEO Pavel Durov was arrested in France for not censoring unapproved speech.)
 
(My opinion: Biden, Harris, and the FBI deliberately lying to U.S. citizens and censoring them for trying to get the truth out is a real threat to democracy. Americans desperately need to drain the swamp on election day.)
 
Here is my daily update on the Israel-Hamas war:
 
Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2024 (Day 320): The two-hundred sixty-fifth day of the resumed war. Day 107 of the attack on Rafah.
 
·       The cross-border attacks by Israel and Hezbollah are escalating.
·       Israel’s Defense Min. said Israel has defeated Hamas’ Rafah Brigade.
·       Israel’s Defense Min. ordered Israeli troops to destroy all remaining tunnels.
·       After saying that the thousands of Palestinian deaths following his attack on Israel were necessary sacrifices, Yahya Sinwar demanded that Israel spare his life in any hostage deal.
·       S. officials believe Sinwar is trapped underground, running out of supplies and ammunition, and he wants to strike a deal.
 
Thursday, Aug. 22, 2024 (Day 321): The two-hundred sixty-sixth day of the resumed war. Day 108 of the attack on Rafah.
 
·       In retaliation for the death of Ismail Haniyeh, Hamas announced that it will start killing Jews abroad.
 
Friday, Aug. 23, 2024 (Day 322): The two-hundred sixty-seventh day of the resumed war. Day 109 of the attack on Rafah.
 
·       Israel struck more than 30 targets in Gaza, and troops said they have killed dozens of terrorists in the last 24 hours.
·       Hezbollah in Lebanon fired about 100 rockets at northern Israel.
·       The U.S. assassinated a senior leader of an Al-Qaeda terrorist group in Syria.
 
Saturday, Aug. 24, 2024 (Day 323): The two-hundred sixty-eighth day of the resumed war. Day 110 of the attack on Rafah.
 
·       Israel assassinated a terrorist who made weapons for Hamas.
 
Sunday, Aug. 25, 2024 (Day 324): The two-hundred sixty-ninth day of the resumed war. Day 111 of the attack on Rafah.
 
·       Hamas officially rejected the latest ceasefire-hostage negotiations.
·       The U.S. has joined Israel in the search for Yahya Sinwar.
Monday, Aug. 26, 2024 (Day 325): The two-hundred seventieth day of the resumed war. Day 112 of the attack on Rafah.
 
·       America’s Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff said Israel’s pre-emptive strike on Hezbollah in Lebanon temporarily eased the threat of an all-out war there.
·       Hezbollah launched more cross-border attacks on Israel, and Israel struck back with more cross-border attacks.
·       An Israeli drone blew up a Hamas command center in Samaria and killed 5 Hamas terrorists.
 
Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2024 (Day 326): The two-hundred seventy-first day of the resumed war. Day 113 of the attack on Rafah.
 
·       Israel rescued an Oct.7 hostage that was being held in a Gaza tunnel.
 
Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2024 (Day 327): The two-hundred seventy-second day of the resumed war. Day 114 of the attack on Rafah.
 
·       Israel’s Foreign Minister urged Netanyahu’s government to consider the temporary evacuation of civilians in Palestinian camps in Israel while troops deal with terrorists in those places.
·       Hundreds of Israeli troops conducted counterterrorist operations in several Palestinian locations on the West Bank in Israel (9 gunmen were killed, several wanted terrorists were arrested, bombs were detonated, and weapons were seized).
 
FYI: God does not send anyone to Hell (all of us are born with a sin nature and destined to go to Hell because we sin), but God has provided a way (Jesus) for everyone to go to Heaven (and Jesus is the only way to get there; John 14:6).
 
Finally, are you Rapture Ready?
 
If you want to be rapture ready and go to heaven, you must be born again (John 3:3). God loves you, and if you have not done so, sincerely admit that you are a sinner; believe that Jesus is the virgin-born, sinless Son of God who died for the sins of the world, was buried, and raised from the dead; ask Him to forgive your sins, cleanse you, come into your heart and be your Saviour; then tell someone that you have done this.

(Warsaw, Poland) — As a Polish citizen whose wife is from the Ukrainian city of Donetsk, I have a unique perspective on the Russia-Ukraine war. I saw the panic in Poland when Russian troops entered Ukraine. Some stockpiled supplies and fuel. Others prepared to leave the country, anticipating that Poland would be invaded next.
 
Despite unresolved trauma from the 1943—1944 Volhynia Massacre in which Ukrainian nationalists killed tens of thousands of Polish people, Poland opened its borders to more than 1 million Ukrainian refugees escaping the war. After all, Poland remembers Russian forces invading and ruling Polish lands, first as the Russian Empire and later as the Soviet Union after World War II. Jewish people numbered among the thousands of Ukrainians who escaped when Russia entered Ukraine. The Friends of Israel’s representatives in Poland helped many of them leave Ukraine, provided shelter, and oversaw their departure to Israel.
 
Major Recent Developments from The Russia-Ukraine War
 
The Western public has grown indifferent to and tired of the war in Ukraine, but on August 6, we witnessed something unseen since World War II. Russia, the world’s largest country, lost territory to the much smaller and weaker Ukraine, which invaded Russia’s Kursk region.
 
As a nuclear power, Russia’s weakness against a smaller country encourages the Ukrainians to continue fighting. But, Ukraine is humiliating a nation with the potential to end this world. A few days after Ukraine’s attack, a fire erupted at Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant. Russia had controlled Europe’s largest nuclear power plant for more than two years, and although it denies causing the fire, the message was clear.
 
Israel, Russia, Ukraine, And Iran
 
Israel’s relationships with these warring nations are complex. The State of Israel’s creation was aided by strong Soviet advocacy. On November 29, 1947, the Soviet Union voted in favor of the 1947 United Nations Partition Plan for Palestine, which opened the doors for a Jewish state. Joseph Stalin adopted a pro-Zionist foreign policy, seemingly convinced that the new nation would be socialist and reduce British influence in the Middle East. While the United States first recognized Israel de facto upon Israel’s declaration of independence on May 14, 1948, the Soviet Union was the first nation to extend de jure recognition to the newly established Jewish state three days later. However, during the Suez Canal Crisis in 1957, the Soviet Union, stripped of its socialist dreams for this new country, began supporting the Arab states against Israel.
 
During the Soviet Union’s collapse, Israel saw one of its most significant aliyot (Jewish immigration) from former Soviet countries. Between 1989 and 2018, about 1.7 million Soviet Jews and their relatives left for Israel, transforming parts of Jewish cities into Russian neighborhoods. People spoke Russian, had Russian stores selling kielbasa, and watched Russian television. Many Israeli citizens felt a connection to these lands where they or their parents were born.
 
When the war in Ukraine started, Israel carefully supported Ukraine. Israel understood the pain of a foreign power’s rocket attacks but could not underestimate Russia’s influence in the Middle East. Openly supporting Ukraine could trigger Russia’s S-400 air defense systems stationed in Syria against Israeli planes patrolling the region.
 
Iran’s weapons sale to Russia strained Russia and Israel’s relationship. Israel has been concerned about Iran and Russia’s increased military cooperation, mainly through arms deals and potential joint defense initiatives. The war in Ukraine exposed that Russia must obtain weapons from Iran. Russia understood this would be unacceptable in Israel, clearly indicating that Putin is not afraid to antagonize the two states completely. Although Israel is hesitant to enter full-blown conflict with Russia, Russia has chosen its side, evidenced by its invitation of Hamas leaders to Moscow on October 26, 2023.
 
The Prophetic Perspective
 
Israel and Russia’s conflict may be linked to biblical prophecy. The prophet Ezekiel described the confederation of nations led by “Gog, of the land of Magog, the prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal” (v. 2). Some terminology used in Ezekiel 38 is seen in the table of nations (Genesis 10). Magog, Tubal, and Meshech are descendants of Japheth (v. 2). In The Harvest Handbook of Bible Prophecy, Dr. Mark Hitchcock argues that the Indo-European race descended from Japheth, and the three regions mentioned in Ezekiel 38 (Magog, Tubal, and Meshech) refer to the territories of today’s southern Russia, Ukraine, and Turkey. Magog and Rosh, likely the same territory of southern Russia, are elevated to leadership in their charge against Israel. The main attack will come from a remote nation in the North (Ezekiel 38:6; 39:2, 15). There is no more remote nation north of Israel than Russia.
 
On September 30, 2015, Russia launched a military intervention in Syria after a request by Syrian President Bashar al-Assad’s government, allowing Russia to play an important role in the Near East. And the war in Ukraine, which began with Russia’s invasion in February 2022, has drawn Russia and Iran closer in several strategic and economic areas.
 
It is unknown if Russia and Ukraine’s conflict will lead to this giant attack on Israel from the land of Rosh, but we know God is regathering His people, Israel, in the land. Ezekiel 37 was fulfilled when the State of Israel was born “in one day” (Isaiah 66:8). Ezekiel 38 and 39 come next. We may imagine giant armies from Russia, Iran, Turkey, and many Arab nations, but Israel’s assurance of victory is in the God of Israel. He will destroy its enemies (38:19–22), beginning a new era when Christ will return with His church to rule for 1,000 years in Jerusalem (Revelation 20).

Soon, Audio and Video Feeds Will Capture Everything on Earth…
 
A series of recent news stories have highlighted the massive advances made in the field of artificial intelligence (AI), specifically in regard to facial recognition technologies. For example, according to the BBC, the police used live facial recognition technology to scan the crowd at a recent airshow in the UK, leading to the arrests of three people. Last week, the Transportation Security Administration arrested a woman after facial recognition devices detected her trying to use someone else’s identification and boarding pass at Tampa International Airport. Meanwhile, NBC News reports facial recognition technology is being used at Major League Baseball stadiums across the United States, and Reason magazine says the National Football League is next.
 
Less than two years ago, NBC News detailed the story of Kelly Conlon. Conlin was kicked out of Radio City Music Hall after facial recognition technology alerted security to her presence. She was entering the venue with her daughter and a pack of Girl Scouts to watch the Rockettes. Conlin was an attorney at a law firm suing the parent company of Radio City Music Hall. Even though Conlin wasn’t directly involved in the litigation, the venue pulled her photo from her law firm’s website and added it to their database. Facial recognition technology instantly identified her as she entered, and security personnel showed her the door. This is the world in which we now live. More and more public venues are under constant surveillance.
 
Back in 2018, I wrote about China’s Yitu Technologies, a company that was at the forefront of developing AI and facial recognition technologies. Yitu created a technology called Dragonfly. Dragonfly could search and analyze billions of photographs and locate a single person in a matter of seconds. Connected to cameras in the Shanghai Metro, it identified over 500 criminals in a three-month period. It was so powerful, it could recognize people wearing disguises. It could also identify people using pictures that are more than 30 years old. And keep in mind, that was six years ago.
 
Think of the power this technology gives the Chinese government today. As facial recognition continues to improve and as every camera in the nation is connected to it, criminals will increasingly have nowhere to hide. Unfortunately, no one else will either. Chinese dissidents, political activists, ethnic minorities, Christians, and other “enemies of the state” will also have nowhere to hide. And, as we just read, China isn’t the only entity taking advantage of this technology.
 
The Rise of Big Brother
 
In George Orwell’s novel 1984, we’re first introduced to “Big Brother” – an omnipresent, all-powerful and “well-intentioned” totalitarian regime. The book’s hero, Winston Smith, lives in a world where every citizen is under 24/7 surveillance. Personal privacy doesn’t exist. Government controls every aspect of life. Monitors in Winston’s apartment spy on him when he’s home. Other devices spy on him when he’s not home. Hidden cameras and microphones capture his words, deeds, and even his facial expressions. His mail is opened, and “thought police” search for and arrest any citizens who dare to have thoughts or feelings outside of those sanctioned by Big Brother and the ruling elite.
 
Winston’s world is a place of absolute governmental control. No conversation, movement, or transaction goes unnoticed. The government is watching – always. In the decades since Orwell first released 1984, people have marveled at what they see as great insight into our future. And they’re right to do so. Because 1984 is becoming our reality. And unfortunately, all the examples we just mentioned are just a small part of what’s coming. Why do I say that? Because we’re only in the first stages of the AI revolution.
 
What’s Coming
 
Facial recognition technologies plugged into AI are already becoming commonplace. But these technologies will only become more invasive. In the future, the ability to see and hear everything will be even easier for government. Unfortunately, while most people object to this type of surveillance and invasion of privacy, their everyday actions bring it closer and closer to reality.
 
How? Many people voluntarily reveal the most intimate details of their lives. They upload pictures of themselves and their friends to Facebook, and they tag them so AI systems can recognize them. They reveal personal information on Snapchat and X (formerly Twitter). They set up doorbell cameras connected to the Internet (and sometimes indoor surveillance cameras connected to the Internet). And they set up devices like Siri and Alexa in their homes. These devices respond to voice commands and make life easier. But they also have a downside. By definition, they’re always listening. That means a microphone is in your house listening at all times. And some of these devices feature their own cameras.
 
As time goes by, these devices will become smaller and cheaper. And as they become smaller and cheaper, they’ll become ubiquitous. They’ll be everywhere. How much smaller and cheaper will these devices become? Imagine trillions of HD cameras and microphones – each one the size of a dust particle. Some might be so small, the naked eye can’t see them. These cameras and microphones will constantly record everything. How will they be placed? They won’t be directly placed at all. Like dust, they’ll spread across the earth and settle on every surface. They’ll be everywhere.
 
They’ll settle on your clothes. They’ll come in through the ventilation in your house. They’ll stick to the bottoms of shoes, and they’ll blow through the streets. And this “nanodust” will send raw video and audio content straight to the government.
 
In the past, all this raw video and audio data would be useless. It would take legions of intelligence analysts a century or more to listen to just one day of global conversations. But with AI, humans don’t need to sift through this data. AI will search and analyze everything – not just faces. Already, AI systems search audio recordings on YouTube and other video platforms for specific phrases and “undesirable” language. In this way, they aim to prevent “disinformation” and “misinformation.” In the same way, they analyze video to find specific patterns of movement or behavior. Using the same methods, AI systems can identify common traits shared by enemies of the state. With the ability to process mountains of information at high speeds, AI can analyze information with a much higher level of precision than any human analyst ever could.
 
Once “nanodust” proliferates, it will form a global network with the ability to “listen” to every conversation on Earth. No one will be able to escape the ever-watchful eye of “Big Brother.”
 
The Coming Global Empire
 
So why does all this matter? Because two thousand years ago, the Bible said a single government will rule all the people of the world (Revelation 13:7). It also said the leader of that government will exercise such total control, he’ll be able to decide who can buy or sell anything (Revelation 13:17). Think about those statements. A global government will have total and complete control over all commerce. To achieve this feat requires a police state the likes of which the world has never seen. Was such a state possible in the 1st Century? No. Was it possible in the 20th Century? No. How about in this century? Yes. It will be. And it won’t just be a possibility. It will be reality. Government won’t be able to resist the temptation AI and other advanced technologies offer. It’s just one more sign we’re nearing the end of the present age.
 
Remember, global government isn’t the only sign of the end. But it’s appearing at the same time as the other signs Jesus and the prophets said to look for. Israel is back in the land (Jeremiah 23:7-8)… The Jewish people once again reside in Jerusalem (Luke 21:24-28)… Though small, Israel has an exceedingly great army (Ezekiel 37:10)… Europe is unifying (Daniel 2:31-45)… And the Gospel is being preached to the ends of the earth (Matthew 24:14). These are all signs Jesus and the prophets said to look for. And our generation is the first ever to witness these signs. Think this is mere coincidence? I don’t either.
 
Jesus Himself said, “When all these things begin to happen, look up for your salvation is near!” (Luke 21:28). In fact, He said the generation witnessing these signs will not pass away before He returns (Matthew 24:34). The emergence and convergence of these signs is the #1 indicator the end of the age and the Second Coming of Jesus are near. For the first time in history, we see these signs. They’re all around us. So don’t doubt it. Jesus is coming!

People sometimes forget the darkness of the late 1960s and early 1970s in the United States. Several groups worked toward a violent overthrow of the US government. Terror bombings became all too common. Much of this sprang from the deeply unpopular Viet Nam war.
 
Youthful baby boomers often saw their parents as putting up a façade of hypocrisy around their lives. They wanted something more than that for themselves. They wanted authenticity and meaning. Some put flowers in their hair and turned to drugs. In their search for meaning, many of them threw out the old moral and sexual standards of earlier generations. 
 
Many chose to search in futile, immoral, and highly destructive ways. But when people sincerely seek God, good things happen. Jesus explained this in Matthew 7:7-8 (NASB). He said, “Ask, and it shall be given to you; seek, and you shall find; knock, and it shall be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it shall be opened.”
 
Asking, seeking, and knocking work because we are not alone. God sees the sincere search for things like meaning, truth, and beauty, things only found in Him. And He responds lovingly. Jesus went on to say in verses 9-11, “Or what man is there among you, when his son shall ask him for a loaf, will give him a stone? Or if he shall ask for a fish, he will not give him a snake, will he? If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more shall your Father who is in heaven give what is good to those who ask Him!”
 
Those of us working on college campuses in the late 60s and early 70s witnessed something amazing. Massive numbers of young people began to search for Jesus. They didn’t know at first that they were searching for Him, but He is the truth, beauty, and meaning they sought. Something called the Jesus Movement soon swept the land. It changed the course of history. I think our nation would be a hundred times worse today if not for the spiritual awakening of the young during those years.
 
Today, once youthful baby boomers are collecting Social Security. America needs to hear from heaven afresh. We again need healing in the land.
 
On Saturday, August 24th of this year, something happened at Ohio State University. Former and present members of the Buckeye football team held a rally. Player after player testified, telling how Jesus had transformed their lives. About a thousand people showed up, mostly students. At the end of the meeting, a little over 60 of them asked to be baptized right then and there.
 
After the event, former Ohio State running back, Master Teague III, said on Fox News, “Sin brings about death. And there is but one cure, and that cure is Jesus Christ…. Everybody's looking for peace. Everybody's looking for joy. Everybody's looking for meaning and purpose… but they’re looking in the wrong places. Jesus is the answer, and we desire to share that.”
 
This is one of several reports we’re now hearing of campus revival in the United States. In the early 1970s, what began on college campuses quickly spread to high schools. It went on to impact the whole nation — from homeless encampments to business communities. It can happen again.
 
In Matthew 9:37-38, Jesus said, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Therefore beseech the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest.” The workers are few, so work. A job needs doing — a job with your name on it. But don’t just work — pray! Pray now and expect God to move. Millions are seeking. The rapture can happen at any time, but in the meantime, let us work and let us pray.

In this era of post-truth, people like to think they do not need to be held accountable for the choices they make. How many times have you heard someone say, “It wasn’t my fault” when they are describing something that didn’t go their way? Owning up to our choices is often hard to do, especially when we make bad choices. But we are faced with choices every day. Our choices are important. Choosing the gift of eternal life through Christ Jesus is the most important choice, yet many people refuse the gift. Choosing our spouse is among the most important choices we make, but it also is very difficult considering the divorce rate. All this underscores the importance of being intentional and wise about our choices.
 
Deuteronomy 11:26 begins with, “See I am setting before you today a blessing and a curse—the blessing, if you listen to the laws of ADONAI your God that I am giving you today; and the curse, if you don’t listen to the laws of the LORD your God, but turn aside from the way I am ordering you today and follow other gods that you have not known.” The Hebrew word for see is re’eh, and is in the singular form meaning, “you see!” However, the pronoun in “before you today,” is plural, meaning that each person is to see that the choice of blessing or curse will affect others as well as themselves. God gives each of us the opportunity to choose what path we take, and it is our own responsibility to choose life! (Deuteronomy 30:19).
 
The theme of choosing is repeated over and over in scripture. In Deuteronomy the people will be given a tangible example of this when they enter the land and stand between Mount Girazim (the blessings), and Mount Evial (the curses). It took them 40 years to get to this point, and the blessings they encountered in the land were short lived and will not be completely fulfilled until the time of Messiah. In John 14:15, Jesus said, “If you love me, you will keep my commands.” Herein, is the intersection of obedience and choice–choosing to follow Christ in obedience to his commands leads to a life of peace and blessing. While we may not feel we are at peace or blessed in our lives, the peace of knowing the blessing of eternal life is the ultimate.
 
Deuteronomy 30:19 reinforces the blessing of choosing “I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse. So choose life in order that you may live, you and your descendants.” Joshua 24:15 says, “If it is disagreeable in your sight to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves today whom you will serve: whether the gods which your fathers served which were beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you are living; but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” Our choices can mean life or death, both here on earth and eternally. Our choices can mean blessing or cursing. God has given us the freedom to choose and he has explained the consequences of our choices—bad or good. Let us in all things choose wisely.

Near the end of his life, the apostle Paul wrote to Timothy that he had fought the good fight, he had finished the course, and he had kept the faith (see 2 Timothy 4:7).
 
But then, a few verses later, he wrote this: “Demas has deserted me because he loves the things of this life and has gone to Thessalonica. Crescens has gone to Galatia, and Titus has gone to Dalmatia” (2 Timothy 4:10 NLT).
 
When things got too difficult for Demas, he quit. He didn’t want to be a follower of Jesus if it required anything of him, if it cost him anything, or if he faced persecution.
 
Jesus spoke of the same dilemma in the parable of the sower, a story in which He compared sowing seed to the gospel going into people’s hearts. He said, “The seed on the rocky soil represents those who hear the message and immediately receive it with joy. But since they don’t have deep roots, they don’t last long. They fall away as soon as they have problems or are persecuted for believing God’s word” (Matthew 13:20–21 NLT).
 
There are people who, when trouble or persecution comes, fall away. They give up. They deny the Lord.
 
Of course, one way to deny the Lord is to just say, “I don’t know Him.” But another way to deny Him is by not confessing Him, by neglecting to speak up for Him when the opportunity arises.
 
Have you ever been in one of those situations where it almost seemed as though God had set the scene for you to speak up for Him? Everything fell into place. You knew what you needed to say. You knew the right thing to say. But you didn’t say it. You were paralyzed by fear. And you seriously regretted it afterward.
 
Even Peter had a lapse in which he denied the Lord—not once, not twice, but three times. That same Peter went out afterward and wept bitterly. And then he changed. According to church tradition, Peter was put to death on a cross as he hung upside down. He asked to be crucified that way because he said he wasn’t worthy to die in the same manner that his Lord did.
 
Peter wasn’t happy in the state he was in, and God changed him.
 
Maybe you’re thinking, “Actually, I feel a bit ashamed. I haven’t been speaking up for the Lord. I haven’t been confessing Him. I must not be a believer because I have denied Him.”
 
We’ve all had our moments of doubt. And we’ve all had our lapses in which we’ve denied Him.
 
But you can make a change today. You can begin confessing Him as a follower of Jesus.
 
Do people know you’re a Christian? Do your coworkers and your family members know that you’re a follower of Jesus Christ? We need to speak up for the Lord. Our lifestyle—the way that we live—should be evidence of our faith in Christ. Are you speaking up for Him?
