When 2024 dawned, now so many months ago, very few could have seen the turmoil that lay ahead. It’s just as well. Only God can handle foreknowledge, and since He knows the end from the beginning, nothing catches Him by surprise. He doesn’t orchestrate chaos, but He allows it so that we can have wake-up calls and keep eternity in perspective. I want to highlight just five scenarios that are what I believe to be turning points in this present year. To a certain degree, they take one’s breath away. Death Is Celebrated The believer loves life and wants to enjoy it forever—and will in a heavenly home. Our number one job is to find as many people as possible who can take this journey with us. We choose life, which culminates in eternal life. At the August Democrat National Convention, very few chose life. Abortion was glorified. With a carnival-like atmosphere, people were encouraged to make themselves extinct by sacrificing children on all sorts of platforms! A mobile abortion clinic awaited in the parking lot of the DNC. A dozen baby lives were exterminated on the spot. The lunacy was staggering with people walking around like they were a birth control pill or an IUD. Clearly, it was demonic. Who could have imagined? Presidential Candidates Removed The summer of 2024 saw both presidential candidates removed, although one survived an assassination attempt, and as of late summer, he is still running for president. The point is, the globalists want to install their candidate for their end-time purposes. They are pressing on towards their one-world government and agenda. Certain people are in the way. God controls the timing of their success but they haven’t figured that out. They are always in a hurry, but they can’t run ahead of God’s time frame. Lauding Paganism—Announcing the Antichrist The 2024 Olympics in Paris celebrated hedonism, paganism, and debauchery, and took an unspeakable swipe at the Lord Jesus Christ. The recent Olympics may be the greatest globalist extravaganza ever. This year’s event made believers glad that we are secure in the love of God and His plan for the end of the age. Christians who are aware of the Olympic antics are righteously indignant at the attack God got on the global stage. Mocking the Lord’s Supper set a new level of indignation towards the One who created the universe and spared humanity from sin’s consequences. Clearly, this event was announcing the Antichrist, who hasn’t actually shown up yet because this isn’t his time! But symbolically, he rode in on a white horse. Again, could you have anticipated such an outrage? Israel is Being Set Up She is being betrayed, even by once strong supporters in Washington D.C. She is isolated and viewed as a burdensome stone (Zechariah 12:3). Almost everyone Israel trusts lets her down. She will drop her guard one more time when the Antichrist comes along to sweep her off her feet. But the set-up is in process. When she was attacked on October 7, 2023, a natural response would have been global support. Just the opposite happened. Global antisemitism enveloped the entire world. It has been so stunning one could not have perceived this level of hate that is actually unique to the 1930s and sadly, to this modern generation. College campuses, marches, and demonstrations globally have reignited the Nazi passion to “gas the Jews.” Again, it has been breathtaking, and the panorama is set to further explode this fall and winter. Jews have been reprogrammed in recent months to run and hide. The Gog-Magog Players are Ready Four of the five major participants to the Russian invasion of Israel, also known as Gog-Magog, are flexing their muscles today. Russia, Iran, and Turkey have united in very recent years with an early foreshadowing of Ezekiel 38-39. Sudan is engaged in a brutal civil war but has Russian soldiers throughout the African country. She could easily participate in the taking of a “spoil” in Israel as outlined in Ezekiel’s passage. Israel’s wealth would be a great relief to impoverished Sudan. And the brutal Sudanese regime would rather steal it than produce it. I have just outlined five scenarios that have serious consequences and a biblical reference. In a sense, no previous generation has observed this kind of alignment and convergence in these areas. Once again, who could have imagined? Really, no one. And there are so many more. Time is short, friends. The world is living on borrowed time. Echoes Of Ezekiel 38 - Turkey Calls for Islamic Alliance Against Israel – PNW Staff - https://www.prophecynewswatch.com/article.cfm?recent_news_id=7288 Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on Saturday called on Islamic nations to ally against "the growing threat of expansionism" from Israel. He made the remarks a day after the death of a dual U.S.-Turkish citizen during a protest near Nablus (Shechem) in Samaria. The Israel Defense Forces is investigating allegations that Aysenur Ezgi Eygi, 26, an activist with the anti-Israel International Solidarity Movement, was shot by Israeli forces. "The only step that will stop Israeli arrogance, Israeli banditry and Israeli state terrorism is the alliance of Islamic countries," Erdoğan said at an Islamic schools' association event near Istanbul. Erdoğan has become increasingly hostile toward the Jewish state and closer to Hamas since the terror group's Oct. 7 massacre in Israel. The Turkish president and his ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP), along with Qatar, are state supporters of the Muslim Brotherhood, of which Hamas is the Palestinian branch. In his speech, the president claimed that Jerusalem aims to conquer Muslim territory, including Turkey, and quoted claims that Hamas was not only defending Gaza but his country and other Islamic lands. "Israel will not stop at Gaza. After conquering Ramallah, it will want the lands of Syria and Lebanon. They will raise their eyes to our homeland, between the Tigris and the Euphrates. They state this openly in every map they show," he said, referring to the "Greater Israel" map displayed by some Israeli leaders. "This is why we say that 'Hamas opposes in the name of the Muslims.' This is why we say that 'Hamas does not only defend Gaza, it defends on the Islamic lands, on Turkey,'" Erdoğan asserted. The Turkish leader went on to state that the latest steps Ankara has taken to improve relations with Egypt and Syria are aimed at "establishing a front of solidarity against the growing threat of expansion" on the part of Israel. Egypt's President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi was in Turkey last week for the first presidential-level visit in 12 years amid warming relations between Cairo and Ankara. In July, Erdoğan said that he was ready to host Syrian President Bashar Assad for talks on renewing relations between the two countries that were severed in 2011 after the outbreak of the Syrian Civil War. Israel's Foreign Minister Israel Katz criticized the Turkish leader's comments in an X post on Saturday evening, saying that he "continues to throw the Turkish people into the fire of hatred and violence for the sake of his Hamas friends. "Today, he calls on Islamic nations to form an alliance against Israel, claiming 'Israel wants to conquer countries in the region, including Turkey.' This is a dangerous lie and incitement. Israel is defending its borders and citizens from the murderers and rapists of Hamas, and from the Shi'ite axis of evil led by Iran. Erdogan and the Muslim Brotherhood alliance have been working for years alongside Iran to undermine moderate Arab regimes in the Middle East. Erdogan should be silent and ashamed." This is not the first time Erdogan has spewed such rhetoric about intervening in Israel. Last year at this time the Turkish leader delivered a speech at an anti-Israel rally in which he told attendees that Israel was responsible for war crimes and framed Hamas as "freedom fighters." He then went further to suggest that Turkey may need to intervene in Gaza, saying Turkey can "come at any night unexpectedly," to an ecstatic reception from the hundreds of thousands of attendees who chanted in response: 'Turkish military to Gaza.' Some experts warn that Erdogan is trying to appear as the champion of Islam, much like Iran's Ayatollah Khomeini in 1989. As such, Turkey has emerged as one of the primary antagonists of Israel in the Middle East over the past few decades. Historically, Turkey has been an ally of Israel and the U.S., and one of the more "moderate" Muslim nations in the world, with a Western-style democracy. Both of those concepts appear to have been thrown to the wind in recent years. Turkey's friendlier posture towards Israel began to shift in the late 1990s and early 2000s. At this time, Islamic factions in Turkey gained a firmer foothold in Turkish politics, eventually leading to the election of now-President Erdogan to the Prime Minister's office in 2002. Erdogan is a fundamentalist Sunni Muslim through and through. He disdains democracy. One of his primary goals is to re-establish Turkey as the leader of a revived Ottoman Islamic Empire. Since coming to power, Erdogan has systematically silenced, jailed, or executed most of his opponents in the military, media, business sector, and academia. The rise of Turkey as a global power and its hostility towards Israel aligns with certain key Bible prophecies related to what will take place in the Middle East before the return of Jesus. In Ezekiel 38-39, Ezekiel specifically predicted that Turkey would become one of the primary geopolitical enemies of Israel in the last days, along with Russia and Iran. There have been several meetings of the leaders of Russia, Iran, and Turkey over the past few years as they draw closer into an alliance. While Turkey is still part of NATO, it has all but given up its push to become part of the European Union after decades of failure to be accepted. If Turkey were to become involved in a conflict with Israel, it would put the United States and NATO in a difficult position of supporting Israel while one of its own members attacks the state. Erdogan knows that going after Israel gets him votes and makes him popular in the Muslim world. While Erdogan may be all words at this point, the expected shift of world opinion against Israel, especially in the Muslim world, will continue to gain momentum. Ezekiel warns that this invading coalition, referred to as the Gog/Magog Coalition, is brought into the region with a 'hook in the jaw,' implying that there are some underlying circumstances that will force them into the region, almost against their will. Much of the speculation over the years has been that it would be Israeli oil discoveries or natural gas that would lure them, or even a retaliatory strike after Israel takes out Iran's nuclear program. The Gaza invasion and worldwide opposition could soon provide that hook that forces this coalition to march. An expanded war including Hezbollah could draw in Iran and eventually their ally Russia. Like GPS a couple of decades ago, a lot of what we see is just cast-off where the technology is old, and so they can let us see what they had. And since it is new to us, it ‘wows’ us. Please think of how cool some of this stuff is, and yet what they are allowing us to see is probably obsolete to them. The kind of research that is going on is often done in obscure labs and their finds published in journals only the PhD and scientist class people read. But in an article in Biotechnology and Health published in March 2021 tells us about the experiments to grow mouse embryos in artificial wombs and then asks the question, who is next? In May 2020, an article in Forbes Magazine talked about experiments to add live brain matter to inorganic silicon chips to help the chips be faster. The brain is the only intelligent entity in the body. They want the chips to process faster; the human brain is the fastest processor ever created. Genetic tampering is the system of Satan and his minions. We can go back to Genesis 6 and see the account there of the ‘sons of God,’ fallen angels who engaged in sexual relations with human women, and the result was giant offspring. They were continually thinking of evil, and God had to intervene to protect the genetic makeup of the human line so that Jesus would not have a corrupted gene pool. His gene pool needed to extend back to Adam so that He, Jesus, could be sacrificed for our sins. The same mindset is at work here. There is genetic manipulation to create something that God didn’t create, nor did He intend to be created. These men are playing God; make no mistake, these experiments will not just stop at mice. Soon, if not currently, they will begin to experiment on us human beings. There is always a good reason to do evil. They must make the point that evil is necessary to help us humans have a better life. AI will work for us, freeing us to live an easy life. AI will do surgeries faster, better, and more efficiently and make fewer mistakes, making our lives better, and on and on we can go. Let us give the vast majority of scientists the benefit of the doubt; however, behind them are the ones who know what is happening and why it is happening. Remember the movie Robocop; this is an old what we would call a Sci-Fi movie from the 1980s. In this movie, a police officer is seriously wounded, and this presents just the right opportunity for the scientists to experiment with merging human tissue and robotic limbs together. These ideas are nothing new as far as movies are concerned, but there are some that are trying to make this kind of thing a reality, and it may be that they already have. In our passage above, the Anti-Christ can deploy his lifelike image. This image will look just like him (verse 14); it will have the ability to speak and breathe and give orders. The False Prophet encourages the masses of the world to worship the beast, the Anti-Christ, and has the power to punish those who refuse to do so. When we first began looking at passages like this when I was in seminary 4 decades ago, no one understood robotics; we imagined a statue and some sort of ventriloquist’s sleight of hand magic at work. But here we are now, and we know better. This image will look like a man, walk and talk like a man, and even appear to breathe and be alive. It will fool billions of people. Robotics and AI are interdependent systems to some degree. In an article published in October 2023 titled “9 Emerging Trends in Robotics and Animation,” one can see how AI empowers robots to learn and how this allows them to be used in many ways, in particular alongside humans. There is a growing trend in medicine to use AI. In the section on humanoid robots, this is what you see:
Beyond their utility in the aforementioned sectors, they also raise profound questions about the future of human-robot relationships. This is the very technology that the Anti-Christ will use to deceive the world and bring a level of destruction to the Jews when they realize that he is not their Messiah. By defiling the new temple in Jerusalem with an idol and claiming to be God (hence the call to worship), the Jews will have their eyes opened and rebel against the Anti-Christ. The ensuing deaths will be catastrophic. All the philanthropic theater will be dispelled with, and the real reason for AI will be seen by the world; that is the destruction of mankind and the control of those under its robotic thumb. An AI who is intelligent, incorporated into all of the world’s systems via the internet, and with electronic access to your cars, banks, grocery stores and hospitals will have the control to make sure no one buys or sells without the mark. These systems are being put in place alongside the rise of AI and the development of robotics as we speak. Those of us in Jesus Christ are seeing this, and we recoil from it; the people of the world system, blinded from the truth of the scriptures by Satan, rush headlong into the darkness, and what they perceive to be a light is actually the freight train of the dark empire coming to kill and destroy. They think that AI will make all better; we know that AI will make all subservient to Satan and ultimately dead. Oh, Lord Jesus, come soon! We see the darkness ahead, and it seems that our warnings fall on deaf ears as we are accused of being ‘party poopers’ or ‘religious idiots.’ Keep watching for the expansion of the AI industry and the development of even more and more ‘human’ robots. The world is about to get crazier; I am sure we will see some of it before Jesus comes to get us. Look up; the trumpet will soon sound. God bless you, Dr. Sean Gooding Pastor of Mississauga Missionary Baptist Church Pastors, Don’t Let Your Churches Remain Unaware of What Lies Ahead - By Jonathan Brentner - https://harbingersdaily.com/pastors-dont-let-your-churches-remain-unaware-of-what-lies-ahead/ If I were to select one word that sums up most people today, it would be “unaware.” Despite the myriad of signs that tell us that the start of the Tribulation period is long overdue, few people are paying attention. Most believers pursue their aspirations with little or no understanding of the times in which they live. Is this not yet another sign that we live in the last days? I believe it is: “For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day when Noah entered the ark, and they were unaware until the flood came and swept them all away, so will be the coming of the Son of Man” (Matthew 24:38-39, emphasis added). The words “they were unaware” in the English Standard Version are literally “they did not know” in the original. Because the people in Noah’s day didn’t believe his warnings about God’s impending judgment, it was as if they didn’t know about it until it started raining. Some versions of the Bible translate the words as “they did not understand.” During the lengthy time required to build the ark, it seems likely that word of such a spectacle would’ve spread to most people living at that time. They saw so many things that were out of the ordinary with the building of a huge ark and the boarding of the animals on it, yet they remained oblivious to the coming flood until it started to rain. Just like in Noah’s day, most people today are unaware that things in the world will suddenly change in perhaps the near future. For decades, they have heard people like me point to the nearness of Jesus’ appearing. Even though they have heard the warnings, they aren’t knowledgeable of what lies ahead and are thus unaware of what’s coming. Because we don’t know the precise timing of Jesus’ appearing, we can’t cease the normal activities of our lives and wait for Him. However, Jesus’ words concerning the days of Noah imply that we can do so with an awareness that He might dramatically intervene in our world at any moment. We may see the end of 2024 and perhaps even the end of 2025. On the other hand, we may not see the end of today, this week, this month, or the next. Why do I believe it’s so close? It’s because the Lord continues to warn us of its nearness by allowing both believers and those outside of the faith to see small yet vivid glimpses of the cataclysmic events described in the book of Revelation. Many pastors, however, ignore the vast number of signs pointing to the nearness of the events described in Revelation. Is it not unbelief that causes them to dismiss the book’s message as having no significance for believers today? It’s because they do not understand the times in which they live that so many in their churches remain unaware of what lies ahead. The Lord’s design for His church was to live with an anticipation of His imminent return. Why else would He instruct His followers to be ready and watch for His return? (Matthew 24:44; 2513). The sense of Philippians 3:20 is that we “eagerly await” Jesus’ appearing. Immediately upon turning to the Lord, the new converts at Thessalonica began anticipating His coming (1 Thessalonians 1:9-10). An additional advantage of such an expectation is that an awareness of what the Bible says about our day calms our hearts and enables us to live with hope. We don’t have to run from the news of our day or pretend that things will get better with time. We know these are biblical times and Jesus is coming for us soon. I’m surprised by how many Christians today remain unaware of the lateness of our day. They talk and plan as though nothing will interfere with either their near-term or long-term aspirations. The problem is not with the planning itself but with doing so without an understanding of the imminent dangers that threaten their livelihood. For many, their unawareness extends beyond that of the nearing Rapture and includes that of the dangers knocking at our day. Globalists plot how to dramatically reduce the world’s population while dire economic conditions seem probable in the not-so-distant future. The threat of World War III has never been greater than it is now. Life between now and the Rapture may become increasingly scary and perilous. Because so many around us are unaware of what’s coming, it’s essential that we remain focused on the prize ahead for us, continue to study Scripture, and be ready to give an answer to those who ask about our hope (1 Peter 3:15). If there ever was a time to obey the Lord’s command to watch for His return, it’s now! Daily Jot: Stupidocrisy: Elected Communism - Bill Wilson – www.dailyjot.com There have been countless violent coups in various countries around the world where communist thugs have murdered leaders and taken control of governments. In fact, communism in the 1900s was responsible for over 100 million deaths. It’s one thing when people are overwhelmed with a brutal military force or anarchic revolution that establishes the dictatorial rule of communism. It’s yet another when a free people willingly go to the polls and vote in a communist regime. When that happens, there never has been a peaceful transfer of power replacing the communist system with a truly free democratic system. It’s kind of like taking the COVID shot. Once it’s in your body, you can’t get rid of it.9/4 This is going to be the case with the presidential election in America this fall. Kamala Harris and her running mate Tim Walz are communists repackaged by the news media and their Democratic Party propagandists as “progressives.” They are bending over backwards trying to convince Americans that they are middle-of-the-road centrists that want to protect the little guy from those who would destroy democracy. Well, it’s their brand of democracy that should be destroyed. They are those who would pry open the lid to tyranny using the screwdriver with a democracy label on it. What these people stand for is a redistribution of wealth—your wealth to their own and their cronies. It can only result in the common American falling prey to totalitarianism. We can point to all the social craziness that these folks support—killing babies in the womb and calling it reproductive health; mainstreaming sodomy and calling it LGBTQ+ rights; grooming children by confusing them on their gender identity and calling it transgender rights; demonizing Christians and Jews and calling it religious freedom; calling for the extermination of the Jewish race by terrorists and calling it humanitarian Palestinian rights. You look at these policies that are written in Harris-Walz Democratic Party platform. They are nothing but the intentional destruction of the fabric of society. This is a destruction of the American ideal rebranded into words that make people think they are just and right. Along comes the Harris-Walz tax policy proposal—90 more taxes—even taxing people on “unrealized gains.” This is a tax on assets’ values. Adam Michel, Director of Tax Policy Studies at the Cato Institute, says, the Harris tax proposal “is not just an attack on the wealthy; it’s an assault on investment, innovation, and economic growth, risking widespread economic damage that will be felt across the entire economy. And it is just the tip of the iceberg—it’s one of more than 90 proposed tax increases and other changes that target the engine of American prosperity.” It’s communism. And voting it in is irreversible. It will make you a slave. Galatians 5:1 says, “Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ has made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.” Electing communism is a heavy yoke. Say it with me, it’s…Stupidocrisy. Daily Devotion: The Worst Thing of All - by Greg Laurie – www.harvest.org For God says, ‘At just the right time, I heard you. On the day of salvation, I helped you.’ Indeed, the ‘right time’ is now. Today is the day of salvation. —2 Corinthians 6:2 https://harvest.org/resources/devotion/the-worst-thing-of-all-2/ - Listen Sometimes, we look at certain sins that people fall into and think it’s the worst thing that can happen to them. But it isn’t the worst thing. The worst thing of all is to have a hardened heart. Even a drug addict, an alcoholic, and an immoral person can see their need for God and turn to Him. Meanwhile, there are people who never go out and do bad things, but their heart gets harder every month and every year. And having a hardened heart is the worst of all. It’s better to be a prodigal and eventually return someday than to never come home. And a hardened heart can cause someone to commit the unforgivable sin, which is blaspheming the Holy Spirit (see Mark 3:29; Luke 12:10). When we read about Moses and Pharaoh in the Book of Exodus, we learn that God hardened Pharaoh’s heart. We may think that Pharaoh didn’t have a choice in the matter. But the Hebrew word for hardened also could be translated “strengthened.” In other words, God responded to Pharaoh’s response. In essence, God was saying, “Make your move, Pharaoh.” And Pharaoh made it. God had shown him miracle after miracle and gave him the opportunity to believe. But Pharaoh still rejected God. So God affirmed Pharaoh in the decision he had already made. God does this with every person. If we choose to believe and trust in Him, then He will strengthen us in that decision. On the other hand, if we choose to reject Him and blaspheme Him, then He will strengthen us in that decision as well. He responds to our response. This certainly doesn’t happen overnight. And before we worry that we have blasphemed the Holy Spirit and committed the unforgivable sin, let’s understand what it is. Blaspheming the Holy Spirit doesn’t mean saying something irreverent about the Spirit of God. Rather, blaspheming the Holy Spirit is a deliberate, willful, continual lifestyle in which we know what is right and have chosen to respond to it with rejection. And by continued exposure to the truth of God and a refusal to obey and trust in Him, we finally go too far and lose all perspective. Interestingly, God said to the prophet Jeremiah, “Pray no more for these people, Jeremiah. Do not weep or pray for them, and don’t beg me to help them, for I will not listen to you” (Jeremiah 7:16 NLT). God was saying that these people had taken it too far. The work of the Holy Spirit is to convict us of our sin and bring us to Jesus Christ. So, to blaspheme and insult the Holy Spirit is to reject the work that He is attempting to do. And when you blaspheme the Holy Spirit, there is no hope for you. The Bible says, “Today is the day of salvation” (2 Corinthians 6:2 NLT). But if you keep putting it off, there will come a time when you will seal your own destiny.
