The rapture of the Rapture - By Randy Nettles - https://www.raptureready.com/2021/01/16/the-rapture-of-the-rapture-by-randy-nettles/
First published on 7/10/2015 as “Enraptured by the Rapture.” Updated for 2021 According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary, the word “rapture” has three basic definitions. 1) Ecstatic joy, bliss, euphoria, or delight. 2) The carrying away of a person to another place or sphere of existence. 3) The final assumption of Christians into heaven during the end-time according to Christian theology. As a believer in Christ, can you imagine the joy (rapture definition #1) one will experience when we, as the bride and soul mate of Jesus, are “carried away“ (rapture definition #2) into the air to meet with Jesus, our Savior, Lord and King? He will then escort us to our new home in heaven… (rapture definition #3); where we will be with Him forever. The English word “rapture” is derived from the Latin word “rapio,” which means “to carry away,” or “to catch up.” Although the word “rapture” is not found in the Bible, it is based on Biblical scripture. Jesus never fully explained the Rapture to his disciples before his crucifixion, although he hinted at it a few times (Matthew 24:36-44; Luke 17:26-36; John 14:1-4). The Rapture was a mystery until God revealed it to Paul many years after Jesus’ death. The timing of his revelation is unknown. Perhaps it was when Paul went into Arabia (Galatians 1:17) after his Damascus experience and conversion or later when he returned to Damascus. Some have suggested this revelation occurred when Paul was caught up to heaven as per 2 Corinthians. “It is not expedient for me doubtless to glory. I will come to visions and revelations of the Lord” (2 Corinthians 12:1). The details of the Rapture regarding the resurrection and transformation of all dead and living believers in Jesus Christ was first given by Paul to the Church in Thessalonica in about A.D. 51. “But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep (dead), that you sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord” (1 Thessalonians 4:13-17). The Greek word for “caught up” is “harpazō” and means “to seize, or carry off by force” or “to snatch away.” About 5 years later, in 56 BC, Paul reinforced the concept of the rapture to the Church of Corinth. “Behold! I tell you a mystery. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed. For this perishable body must put on the imperishable, and this mortal body must put on immortality” (1 Corinthians 15:51-53). Another famous scripture regarding the rapture was given by Jesus himself and recorded by the disciple John many decades later. “Let not your heart be troubled: you believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there you may be also” (John 14:1-3). At the moment of the Rapture, all living believers in Jesus as Lord and Savior, as well as all deceased Christians since the giving of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost in AD 33, will receive new spiritual bodies that are made for heaven and eternity. We will retain our souls which have been cleansed of sin, and our spirits will be in perfect alignment with God, the Holy Spirit. Here are a couple of Old Testament prophecies that hinted at the mystery of the Rapture, which is to come before the Great Tribulation (Day of the Lord): “Come, my people, enter your chambers, and shut your doors behind you; hide yourself, as it were, for a little moment, until the indignation is past. For behold, the LORD comes out of His place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity; the earth will also disclose her blood, and will no more cover her slain” (Isaiah 26:20-21). “Before the decree is issued, or the day passes like chaff, before the Lord’s fierce anger comes upon you, before the day of the Lord’s anger comes upon you! Seek the Lord, all you meek of the earth, who have upheld His justice. Seek righteousness, seek humility. It may be that you will be hidden in the day of the Lord’s anger” (Zephaniah 2:2-3). The unbridled bliss we will experience when we are together with Jesus and all of our saved relatives and friends will be unimaginable. It will be the ultimate family reunion of the ages. We will experience perfect love and happiness. Never again will we experience the negative emotions of fear, hate, envy, greed, sorrow, uncertainty, lust, selfishness, and pride. “God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore; for the former things have passed away” (Revelation 21:4). “In Your presence is fullness of joy; at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore” (Psalm 16:11). The will of the Father shall become the will of all humans and angels in heaven. We will never again experience the sorrow of sin in our lives. Our sin nature, inherited from Adam, will no longer be with us, for we will be made holy and righteous after Christ. Our mortal bodies will be transformed into immortal bodies that will be suited for eternity in the new heavens and earth. “For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality, then shall it be brought to pass the saying, that is written: Death is swallowed up in victory” (1 Corinthians 15:54). We will have a spiritual body like Jesus’ resurrected body. “Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it does not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that when He shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is. For everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as he is pure” (1 John 3:1-3).) It will be a glorious body similar to Jesus. “So also is the resurrection of the dead. The body is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption. It is sown in dishonor; it is raised in glory. It is sown in weakness; it is raised in power. It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body. And so it is written, The first man Adam became a living being. The last Adam (Jesus) became a life-giving spirit… And as we have borne the image of the man of dust, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly Man” (1 Corinthians 15:42-44, 49). “For our citizenship is in heaven; from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall transform our lowly body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able to subdue all things unto himself” (Philippians 3:20-21). Our bodies will not be as glorious as Jesus’, for He is God; but it will be similar. What does Jesus’ glorious body look like? In the book of Revelation, John had a vision of Jesus Christ in His glory: “Then I turned to see the voice [a loud voice, as of a trumpet] that spoke with me. And having turned I saw seven golden lampstands [theophany of the Holy Spirit], and in the midst of the seven lampstands One like the Son of Man [Jesus Christ], clothed with a garment down to the feet and girded about the chest with a golden band. His head and hair were white like wool, as white as snow, and His eyes like a flame of fire; His feet were like fine brass, as if refined in a furnace, and His voice as the sound of many waters; He had in His right hand seven stars, out of His mouth went a sharp two-edged sword, and His countenance was like the sun shining in its strength” (Revelation 1:12-16). For more descriptions of Yahweh (pre-incarnate Jesus) and God the Father, see Can You Imagine? – PROPHECY UPDATE Even before Jesus’ resurrection, he had supernatural abilities, such as walking on water, turning water into wine, feeding the multitude with little food, slipping through a murderous crowd unnoticed, and, of course, his many healings. After the resurrection, Jesus entered through a locked door where the disciples were hiding in a room and stood in their midst, according to John 20:19-20. Jesus’ ascension into heaven forty days after his resurrection was another supernatural event as recorded in Acts 1:9-11. In our spiritual bodies, we will have supernatural abilities and senses, compared to our current carbon- based earthly ones. What an upgrade it will be! “But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary: and they shall walk and not faint” (Isaiah 40:31). Our knowledge will greatly increase as we will be able to use 100% of our brains. “For we now know in part and we prophesy in part. But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away. When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things. For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known” (1 Corinthians 13:9-12). All transformed believers in Jesus will become children of God and will be co-heirs with Christ throughout the Millennium and Eternity. “The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together. For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us” (Romans 8:16-18). “But as it is written, Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for them that love him” (1 Corinthians 2:9). God’s kingdom will consist of the new heavens (universe) and earth; including the eternal city… the New Jerusalem. Here is John’s description of our new home: “And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal; And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel: “On the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the south three gates; and on the west three gates. And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. And he that talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof. And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. “The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal. And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel. And the building of the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass. And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious stones. “The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald; the fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolyte; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, a topaz; the tenth, a chrysoprasus; the eleventh, a jacinth; the twelfth, an amethyst. And the twelve gates were twelve pearls: every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass. “And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it. And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof. And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it. “And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there. And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it. And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life” (Revelation 21:10-27). Oh, the rapture of the Rapture! Does this sound like an event you want to miss? If you miss the Rapture train, you will have to face the train wreck known as Daniel’s 70th week, otherwise known as the 7-year Tribulation. It would be a shame to miss it because of not making a decision for Christ. Even if the Rapture doesn’t happen relatively soon (although I believe it is very near) or if you miss it, no person knows when he or she might pass from this life into the next one. The next life will be for eternity… do you want to spend it in Heaven (the New Earth and New Jerusalem) or Hell (the Lake of Fire)? The first article I wrote for R.R. was about this subject. See: Scary, Isn’t It? :: By Randy Nettles – Rapture Ready Choose Jesus and live forever as a royal son of the most high God. Make your decision today, for we are not guaranteed tomorrow. “But God said unto him, you fool, this night your soul shall be required of you; then whose shall those things be, which you have provided for yourself” (Luke 12:20). “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover, whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified… For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 8:28-30, 38-39). Even so, come, Lord Jesus. Randy Nettles [email protected]

Our Glorious Future – Jonathan Brentner - https://www.jonathanbrentner.com/https/jonathan-brentner-g8fgsquarespacecom/config/2021/1/18/our-glorious-future
Perhaps you wonder why I’m writing about glory amid the turmoil swirling around us today that point to difficult days ahead for the followers of Jesus. The spewing of demonic hatred at the highest levels of our government and in the media toward President Trump and his supporters is something that should greatly alarm even those who do not like the President or his supporters. It spells trouble ahead for all of us who hold to the truths of Scripture. As I write, there are upwards of thirty thousand heavily armed soldiers and special forces in Washington, DC that have orders to use lethal force if necessary. Is this part of a last second plan by President Trump to restore our republic and keep America from falling into the hands of a Marxist regime via a stolen election? Or, is the military expecting something far greater than a domestic uprising? We just do not know. How do we deal with such uncertainty? At times, I do not respond well when I read about the vile and evil agenda that Biden plans to set in motion during his first days in office. I know all to well that it takes a steady dose of God’s Word, time in prayer, and the Holy Spirit keep us focused on our hope before us. And even then I blow it at times and find myself coming back to the Lord for mercy and strength to wait upon Him. I believe that a focus on the glory that awaits all of us who know the Lord as our Savior is something that can encourage us and even cheer our hearts regardless of what we face in the perilous days ahead for us in this world. WHAT DOES THE WORD “GLORY” SIGNIFY? We see or hear the word “glory” so often that we rarely stop to consider what it means or signifies. More times than I would care to admit, I gloss over the word without slowing down to consider its implications for my life or my future in eternity. A proper examination of the word “glory” would fill a large book, so this will be a brief discussion. In the Old Testament, the Hebrew word denotes something weighty or someone who is worthy of great honor and reverence such as befitting a great king or God. Glory further depicts the luminous manifestation of the Lord’s presence, beauty, power, and character. When the Lord’s glory filled the temple, the priests could not enter it because of the dazzling brightness of God’s presence (2 Chron. 7:1-3). Creation also displays the Lord’s glory. Psalm 19:1 says, “The heavens declare the glory of God, / and the sky above proclaims his handiwork.” Today we know the universe above contains trillions of stars, all of which God named, and we see beautiful, stunning pictures of our universe via the Hubble telescope. God’s glory includes His matchless beauty and His power displayed throughout His creation. The Old Testament characterization of glory as God’s majesty, character, radiant presence, and exaltation carries over into the New Testament in the person of the Son. In John 1:14 we read, “And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.” Jesus reveals the God of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, and all the prophets to us. Hebrews 1:3 says that Jesus “is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature.” Jesus is not only the One to whom all of the Old Testament points, He is the precise representation of God the Father and possesses all His glory. In John 14:9 Jesus said, “Whoever has seen me has seen the Father.” He showed us the character and power of God the Father during His first coming; when Christ comes for His church, we will see the full extent of His glory. THE REVEALING OF JESUS’ GLORY TO US So, what does God’s glory mean for us as followers of Jesus who face affliction, suffering, and uncertain days? Paul provides the answer in Romans 8:18, “For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us.” For the apostle, the anticipation of seeing the full display of God’s glory far outweighed his personal afflictions, which we know were severe and exceedingly painful. Despite the beatings and scourgings, he anticipated a future unveiling of God’s glory that would make all his intense sufferings in this life seem insignificant by comparison. Wow! I believe this great unveiling of glory starts with the rapture, as Paul refers to it later in the same passage (Rom. 8:23-25). Please stay with me as we go back to the Jesus’ words in the Upper Room as He spoke to His disciples as leaders of the church that would come into being on the Day of Pentecost. Jesus said this in John 14:3, “And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also.” The Lord is talking about a time when He takes us to “Father’s house” so that we might be where He is at now. In John 17:24, Jesus reveals a key reason for taking us to the “place” where He now resides, “Father, I desire that they also, whom you have given me, may be with me where I am, to see my glory that you have given me because you loved me before the foundation of the world.” Jesus prayed that we would someday be with Him, where He is at in heaven, so that we would see the full extent of His glory. In 14:3, Jesus says He will take us to where He is at and in 17:24 He prays for this to happen so that we will see the glory He possessed before the world even existed. Jesus longs to take His bride to His Father’s house in heaven so we can see the glory He possessed before the creation of the world. We are not the only ones looking forward to the rapture. Don’t let the scoffers and naysayers deter you from your glorious hope in these troubling last days. We will someday, perhaps very soon, see Jesus in all His spectacular brilliance, power, and beauty. Notice the words of Paul in Colossians 3:4, “When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.” Do you really see what this verse tells us? When Jesus appears, we do not remain on the earth, but we “appear with him in glory;” we depart from this earth to be with Jesus, where He now resides, and witness His glory. This is the rapture! As one of the first disciples, John spent three and a half years with Jesus on earth. He saw Him on multiple occasions after His resurrection and watched Him ascend into heaven. So, what happened when John saw a vision of his glorious Savior on Patmos Island? John says, “When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead” (Rev. 1:17). It never ceases to amaze me that one who knew Jesus so well on earth would respond that way when seeing Him in His glory. What will it be like when we see Jesus in all His glory? WE WILL EXPERIENCE GLORY FOR OURSELVES The news gets even better for us. There is a sense in which we will not only see Jesus’ in all His glory, but also experience it through our resurrected bodies. Romans 8:30 ends with this promise, “. . . and those whom he justified he also glorified.” I believe this relates to what the apostle wrote in Philippians 3:20-21, “But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself.” Until our faith becomes sight, we can bask in the wonder of the change we will experience when the Lord exchanges our perishing bodies for those that will never grow old or die and when we see Jesus in all the glory He possessed before the incarnation. “Behold! I tell you a mystery. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed. For this perishable body must put on the imperishable, and this mortal body must put on immortality” (1 Cor. 15:51-53). 1 John 3:2 says this about the moment Jesus comes for us, “. . . what we will be has not yet appeared; but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he is.” Notice John’s reference to seeing Jesus “as he is.” We must not divorce the rapture from the Gospel; it’s the substance of our “blessed hope” (Titus 2:11-14) as so many do today. Our ultimate hope is not in earthly outcomes as desirous as they might be, but in the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, the Lord Jesus. The appearing of Jesus to take us to His Father’s house in heaven is the substance of the hope of the Gospel. The apostle Paul, in speaking of the the “redemption of our bodies,” the rapture, said, “For in this hope we were saved” (Rom 8:23-24). If the tremendous suffering and afflictions that the Apostle Paul experienced were “not even worth comparing with the glory” that Paul anticipated at Christ’s return for him, how much more should our hope of future glory comfort us during these most uncertain times? Regardless of what we experience in the coming days and weeks, we know that glory awaits us at the imminent return of Jesus to take us home. Sometimes I try to image what it will be like to suddenly set foot in glory with my resurrection body, see Jesus, reunite with family members who have gone before me, and see the place He has prepared for me. I am sure that my imagination falls far short of what life will actually be like in heaven, but it does help focus my mind on things to come. Featured Article: Dark Days - By Daymond Duck - https://www.raptureready.com/2021/01/17/dark-days-by-daymond-duck/
The 2020 U.S. Presidential Election was the most contentious and corrupt election in the history of America (it has been reported that almost 80% of Republicans, about 30% of Independents, and 17% of Democrats believe there was fraud). The shadow government and globalist elite have used an illegal election to replace a president that wanted to put America first with a president that will push world government, and these people are now closer to their long-cherished goal of a one-world government, economy, and godless global religion than they have ever been. In my last article, I reported that Dr. James Dobson said the Republican loss of the two Senate Seats in Georgia will lead to the loss of “government of the people, by the people and for the people” because the Democrats will add more Senate Seats (Washington, DC, and Puerto Rico) and more judges to the U.S. Supreme Court. The Republicans lost both seats, so if Dr. Dobson is right, the election fraud has cost America “government of the people, by the people and for the people.” The shadow government and globalist elite have gained control of every branch of U.S. government through the Democrat Party, and there will be no way to stop the surrender of U.S. sovereignty. Demonic forces have taken over America, and our nation will never recover. Faithful students that study Bible prophecy on a regular basis are not surprised: We have long taught that the Bible prophesies the following: · the nation of Israel will be re-established (it has), · the Church will grow lukewarm (it is), · there will be global pandemics (worse than Covid), · persecution of Christians (lockdowns, pastors arrested, churches fined), · global economic problems (trillion-dollar stimulus packages, the economy of many nations near collapse), · global famine (unemployment and hunger are spreading), · gross immorality and abominations to God (abortion, LGBTQ, etc.), · deceit will increase (censorship, lying, etc.), · the technology to track all buying and selling (coming on the scene now), · the elimination of cash (digital currencies are now going into use), · the arrival of 10 kings in the world (this could be approved at “The Great Reset” soon), · that the U.S. must decline (this appears to be happening now), · a world government (Biden plans to push it), · an antichrist religion (Democrats have removed God from their party platform), etc. This is a spiritual war; America is no longer a Christian nation; Biden and Harris have indicated that they will greenlight globalization, rejoin the World Health Organization, push the Green New Deal, open America’s borders, and more. Fraud has turned America into a one-party nation; voting was worthless; fear, frustration and concern are spreading; many pastors are silent; their church members are like sheep without shepherds in front of a pack of wolves; it is not an easy time for Christians and patriots; this is probably America’s last stand; citizens are upset; and there is a lot of uncertainty about what the future holds for us, our children, our grandchildren, etc. This has prompted me to offer these thoughts: · God is not surprised, He is still in control, the Church has been told to watch for these things, prophecy is being fulfilled, and these things indicate that this present generation could be the terminal generation (Matt. 24:32-34). · Jan Markell said, “Things are not falling apart; things are falling in place,” and Rev. J.D. Farag said, “God isn’t trying to make you happy. God is trying to get you ready.” · This world is not the Christian’s hope or home; the Christian’s hope is not an anti-Christ world government, corrupt politicians, politically motivated judges and courts, or anything except the Rapture of the Church (John 11:11; Titus 2:13). · The purpose of the Rapture is to give Christians knowledge and comfort about their future and that of their deceased loved ones (I Thess. 4:13-18). · Christians are not alone (John 14:16). · The Gates of Hell will not prevail against the Church (Matt. 6:18). · Nothing can separate Christians from the love of God (Rom. 8:38-39). · Christians should set their affections on heaven, stand firm, live by the Word of God, keep the Judgment Seat of Christ in mind, and know that our sins will find us out (Col. 3:2; Matt. 4:4; II Cor. 5:10; Num. 32:23). · A lukewarm attitude, the silence of pastors, and Church members that know very little Scripture signify the end of the age (Rev. 3:15-18). · People who are not saved should quickly and sincerely put their faith in Jesus (not baptism or joining a church) for the forgiveness of their sins (Prov. 3:5-7; John 3:16; 14:6). · Christians should love others, do good works, attend Church, get the gospel out (to everyone, but especially to their family), pray often, pray for the peace of Jerusalem, and more (Heb. 10:24-25; Mark 16:15; Psa. 122;6). · Christians should watch the signs and pray that God will consider them worthy to be Raptured before the Tribulation Period arrives (Luke 21:36). · Know that God raises up leaders and God brings down leaders. He had a reason for putting Trump in office, He has a reason for removing Trump, and a reason for putting Biden in office. I tend to believe God is ready to let world government advance, and Trump would have been in the way. · God’s prophecies must be fulfilled, and good will come from every situation (Rev. 1:1; Rom. 8:28). Here are more of my thoughts along a different line: · On Jan. 6, 2021, an angry mob stormed and breached the U.S. Capitol building, and tragically, 1 person was killed almost immediately, several others died, several police were injured, and there was property damage. · Politicians and pundits immediately blamed Trump, but Congress, the FBI, CIA, the Media, and the U.S. Supreme Court must share the blame (also there have been reports that Antifa and Black Lives Matter were among the protesters and responsible for some of the violence; On Jan. 7, it was reported that 2 members of Antifa had already been identified by facial recognition technology. Some officials deny it, but they proved untruthful in the Russian Collusion hoax). · Barack Obama and Chuck Schumer have boasted that they will fundamentally change America, and they have been involved. · The House tried to dump Trump for 4 years, falsely accused him, impeached him for nothing, and ignored the crimes of the Bidens and Clintons. · The FBI, CIA and others lied and falsely prosecuted people because they wanted to dump Trump, and little to nothing has been done. · A Special Prosecutor was appointed to investigate the Clintons and the Russian Collusion hoax, and the public has been promised a report for years, but it has never been released, and it will probably be covered up. · Politicians, the Media, and some police claim that we are a nation of laws, but they have ignored 4 years of Antifa and Black Lives Matter rioting, looting, burning, injuring people, and attacking the police. · Despite overwhelming evidence of voter fraud, judges have refused to hear the evidence, the U.S. Supreme Court has done nothing, and some people think violence is the only answer (God is the only answer). · Pundits immediately started saying “we must come together,” but it will not happen because the left’s definition of “coming together” is that the right must totally submit. The left will never agree to restrictions on abortion, sexual perversion, drug abuse, etc. (Rev. 9:20-21), and true Christians will not totally surrender. Simply put, violence is wrong, but Washington is corrupt and broken; frustration started building before Trump ran for President. Millions of people do not want mob rule, one-party rule, their voice to go unheard, to open America’s borders, to surrender America’s sovereignty, to let unsaved diplomats at the UN tell the U.S. what laws we have to pass, different voting rules for different people, the crimes of the Clintons and Bidens ignored, the police attacked, the police defunded, and judges that ignore the law and rule in favor of their own political party. It saddens me to say it, but I do not believe Congress will listen. According to Bible prophecy, abortion, perversion, drug abuse, and globalism will explode; freedom of speech and freedom of religion will decline; persecution of believers and anti-Semitism will increase; violence will increase; there will be no revival in the Church; and God will soon send the Tribulation Period to deal with godless government in America and the world. On the other hand, I rejoice to say that God is listening to the grievances of His people. The world is dark, but light is coming, and these tragic events are reasons for hope (I Thess. 5:4-9). The Christian’s future is glorious, and the nearness of world government and the Tribulation Period implies that the Rapture of the Church is close. I don’t know how to define close, but I honestly believe the appointment of 10 people to rule over a world government in the next 4 years is a distinct possibility. Here are some more stories that made the news: One, concerning false accusers, Democrats praised and bailed out rioters, looters, and arsonists in some cities, but on Jan. 7, 2021, Biden called those that stormed the capitol “rioters, insurrectionists and domestic terrorists.” Some reports said hundreds of thousands of people attended the March to Save America, and about 40-50,000 went to the capitol. Thus, most of those that went to Washington were not involved in the violence. Violence is wrong, and if the Democrats want to “come together,” they should recognize that most of those that went to Washington have legitimate grievances that must be addressed and admit the truth about the involvement of Antifa and Black Lives Matter. Sadly, there is every reason to believe that hypocrisy, lying and deceit will prevail. Two, one TV commentator said the reason Pelosi, Schumer, Ilhan Omar and others want to remove Trump from office with less than 2 weeks to go is because removal from office will disqualify him from running for President 4 years from now. They obviously do not know that they have no control over who will run for President 4 years from now because God raises up our leaders. As I see it, the President of the U.S. could very well be one of the Ten Kings under the rule of the Antichrist 4 years from now (I am not setting a date for the Rapture). Incidentally, saying the election was stolen is not an impeachable offense. Three, concerning the Battle of Gog and Magog, on Jan. 4, 2021, Iran announced that it is now enriching uranium to 20%. Israeli Prime Min. Netanyahu said Iran is trying to develop nuclear weapons, and Israel will not let them do it. I have been saying it for a long time, but the latter days, latter years Battle of Gog and Magog could be close (Ezek. 38:8, 16). Four, on Jan. 6, 2021, Rev. Franklin Graham said, “We (America) are in trouble. I believe God’s judgment is coming, for the sins of our nation are great, and they are a stench in the nostrils of our Creator.” Five, concerning famine, on Jan. 7, 2021, Bloomberg reported that global food prices hit a 6-year high in Dec. 2020, and they are likely to go higher in 2021. The higher cost of food is expected to increase inflation. Six, the place that is believed to be the site where John the Baptist baptized Jesus is in an area between Israel and Jordan that was designated a war zone more than 50 years ago. Land mines were laid in the area, and people were warned to stay away. Two years ago, Israel started removing the landmines, and the area has now been declared safe. On Jan. 10, 2021, it was reported that a group toured the area and held a baptism ceremony there. Seven, concerning the censorship of Trump, and Christian and conservative websites, on Jan. 10, 2021, it was reported that Biden has at least 14 current or former executives of Amazon, Apple, Facebook, Google, and Twitter ready to serve in his administration or advising his transition team. In my opinion, one of the primary reasons for censorship is to silence anyone that opposes the surrender of America’s sovereignty to a world government. Eight, on Jan. 10, 2021, it was reported that a post on Biden’s website says he has plans to defeat the NRA and “end our epidemic of gun violence.” There are not a lot of specifics, but the NRA is saying Biden will make “a concerted attack on the rights of gun owners. Finally, God loves you, and if you have not done so, sincerely admit that you are a sinner; believe that Jesus is the virgin-born, sinless Son of God who died for the sins of the world, was buried, and raised from the dead; ask Him to forgive your sins, cleanse you, come into your heart and be your Saviour; then tell someone that you have done this. Prophecy Plus Ministries, Inc. Daymond Duck [email protected] 2021: Revolution, Resolutions or Fulfillment of Prophecy? – Olivier Melnick - https://www.newantisemitism.com/antisemitism/2021-revolution-resolutions-or-fulfillment-of-prophecy
Usually, when we start a new year, there is a sense of renewal, a fresh start and new resolutions to get us going on the proper footing. Let’s be realistic, there is nobody on this planet who doesn’t want 2021 to be better than 2020. The pandemic, the race riots, the economic rollercoaster and the presidential elections have made last year a memorable one, and not so much from a positive perspective. And yet, for several reasons, January 2021 is looking like an extension of 2020. The upcoming changing of the guard at the presidential level is currently punctuating every aspect of American life. People have never been so polarized since the Civil War and there doesn’t seem to be much of a light at the end of the tunnel. Many people are being silenced, crippled and isolated. Where is this going? When I look at the current exponentially growing censorship of conservatives by Big Tech, I am immediately taken back to what happened to my family in the 1930s and 40s in France. I know that some will be tempted to accuse me of using ghetto and Holocaust analogies flippantly when the topics should be left alone. Truly, too many people are using Holocaust comparisons cheaply to make their case more dramatic, but when the shoe fits! I still remember my father telling me how his father–who fought the Great War of 1914-1918 as a French citizen– was one of many Jews being asked to bring their bicycles to the nearest Paris police station. Most of them, including my paternal grandfather, complied quietly, and self-imposed a forced limitation of their movements within their country, and it worked well for the Nazis. Next, the Jews of France were asked to bring their transistor radios to the same police stations. Again, most of them complied and soon found themselves staying home with no means of knowing what was going on in the world. This was a time when exiled General Charles De Gaulle was broadcasting information from the United Kingdom on a daily basis. The next step was to isolate the Jews even further by grouping them in ghettos, so that they could be concentrated in a specific area, with almost no way to communicate with the outside world. It worked very well for the enemies of the Jews. It still wasn’t enough as it led to Kristallnacht in Germany and the “Final Solution to the Jewish question” all over Europe. Yes, I absolutely see some similarities between the times we live in and the 1930s and 40s. Christians and conservatives are being silenced and censored with a final agenda of isolation with almost no possible communication. Glenn Beck accurately compared where we are today to the era of World War Two when he said,“This is like the Germans with the Jews behind the wall, they would put them in the ghetto. This is the digital ghetto. ‘You can talk all you want, Jews, do whatever you want behind the wall’…And that’s where we are. That’s where millions of Americans will be.” It does appear as if we are being forced into a “digital ghetto.” While most Jewish people lean more towards liberal, progressive views; we are usually the first ones to suffer and often for different reasons that are not connected to the economy, politics or a pandemic. We are targeted because we are Jewish, and even though it is incredibly irrational, Jews have been accused of bringing the virus to the world–strangely reminiscent of the Black Plague libel. We have also been accused of controlling the banks and the economy–also reminiscent of the Middle Age libel about Jews being greedy and controlling European wealth. What about the vaccine? how many people will not want to take it? Will we have a choice? It is hard to tell this early in the game, but we cannot ignore the Bill the state of New York is working on, known as Bill A416. It is currently only at the committee level and has a long way to go before it becomes law, if it ever does. The gist of it is simply the establishing of a system by which the Governor of the state of NY has the right to isolate people he deems dangerous to the health of other people, and place them in detention centers until they are assessed and deemed fit to re-enter society. No wonder quite a few people are feeling like a revolution is brewing in America. Our liberties seem to be at stake, but now is supposed to be the time when we all make new year’s resolutions, not new year’s revolution, so which is it? Frankly, America might very well be on the cusp of a new revolution, and yet, I strongly believe that it is still the appropriate time to make new year’s resolutions. I need to confess that I have been pulled down into the cesspool of the current political debate for a good share of the last few months. I went from amazement to frustration to anger to resentment to bitterness. As a result, I completely lost my focus on what God has really called me to be, an ambassador of the Good News to the Jewish people and also to the Gentiles, as well as a watchman and soldier against antisemitism of all sorts. New resolutions are not easy to make; and this is why people make them and often break them soon after. Going on a diet, quitting smoking or changing any habit or addiction requires sacrifice and self-discipline. As believers, we also can rely on the Holy Spirit to convict us and enable us to stick to our resolutions. Things might change. Only time will tell; but for now, I believe that new resolutions may be more important to believers in Yeshua than a new revolution. For the time being, I desire to commit to the only agenda worth my time as a modern disciple of Yeshua, and that is the furthering of His kingdom on earth. This doesn’t necessarily mean that I will become a hermit, ignore the news and put my head in the proverbial sand of ignorance. I am a legal citizen of the United States of America for the remainder of my time on earth, and I have to respect that and the laws that come with it. Yet, if I am forced to do things that boldly go against what Yeshua teaches, I will be forced to make a choice. Mine is already made. How about yours? There is plenty to do for those of us who can focus on what the Lord would have us do. I will continue to fight antisemitism the best way I can in writing, speaking, preaching and educating; because I know beyond the shadow of a doubt that it is one of the burdens that God has given me. I also believe that it will continue to open doors for me to share the love of Yeshua. I might be a legal citizen of the United States, but I am also a citizen of heaven who was purchased by the blood of Yeshua at His sacrificial death 2000 years ago. My citizenship in heaven should always be my focal point, as I am reminded by the great prophet Moses in Psalm 90 (the only psalm written by Moses) where he said, “As for the days of our life, they contain seventy years, or if due to strength, eighty years, yet their pride is but labor and sorrow; for soon it is gone and we fly away…. Let Your work appear to Your servants and Your majesty to their children. Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us; and confirm for us the work of our hands; yes, confirm the work of our hands.” Furthermore, our time here is but a breath or a vapor as James 4:15-17Open in Logos Bible Software (if available) tells us, “Yet you do not know what your life will be like tomorrow. You are just a vapor that appears for a little while and then vanishes away. Instead, you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we will live and also do this or that.” But as it is, you boast in your arrogance; all such boasting is evil. Therefore, to one who knows the right thing to do and does not do it, to him it is sin.” We as believers have been entrusted with the propagating of the Good News of Yeshua the Messiah. It would be wise to remember that those who started following Him at the onset of His ministry in Israel, did so – no strings attached and without worrying about their legal rights. Again, I am not advising that believers give away all their rights as per the US Constitution, but some things are worth fighting for while others are not. At the end of the day, fighting so that we can share the Good News is of the utmost importance. However, we also need to realize that some of the most successful evangelists were those who were persecuted, imprisoned and/or went underground. Prophetically, the Bible promises much turmoil during the end times. It doesn’t predict an American revolution (America is not even mentioned in the Bible). We are promised that the Lord will never forsake us, but that we will also suffer persecution because of Him. 2021 promises to propel us even closer to the final pages of the Bible. To be honest, sometimes I feel like the prophetic future isn’t so future anymore. Even if time is of the essence, the Good News is still the best message to be shared. So, if I must spend any time focusing on the future, let it be because I care about those who do not have theirs secured in Messiah’s embrace. Is God trying to get us on our knees? That is entirely possible and that shouldn’t scare us because it is when we are on our knees that we are the closest to Him! I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Messiah Yeshua. (Philippians 3:14) End of the Age and the Eternal City of God - By Pastor Mike Taylor - https://pastormiketaylor.blogspot.com/2021/01/end-of-age-and-eternal-city-of-god.html
“And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed there was no more sea. 2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. 4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.” (Revelation 21:1-4) Finally, the end of this present world passes away. We have seen down through the ages of the reign of mankind, that it has been fraught with evil and mankind's inability to rule themselves with any given success. Jesus came to rescue those who would believe on His Name and come to Him in faith for Him to apply mercy and grace. This lasted for 2000 years or the Age of Grace, until the Tribulation started and the finishing of the age of the law, known as Jacob's trouble. We have believed that God will separate His chosen Bride away from His coming wrath and bring us to heaven. We have seen the destruction and the rebellion of mankind against God's Anointed, God's Only Son. Until mankind was given a brief respite from all the evil found in this world for a Millennium. As we saw in the last study of Revelation 19 and 20, Jesus came and was victorious over the Beast power, the last dictator of the world, the false prophet who deceived the whole of the nations, and laid waste to the vast army gathered into the Valley of Jehoshaphat or commonly called Megiddo/Jezreel and blood rose up about 5-6 feet deep and in a valley that is 184 miles long and 5 miles wide. But that was not the end of it, because Satan was loosed for a little season and deceived those who just could not stand to be ruled, even righteously by a sovereign Lord God on earth and came against the Holy City of God's Throne in Jerusalem and fire came down and destroyed them all. We saw where Satan was again grabbed by strong angels and cast into the Lake of Fire, no more to deceive mankind, and God has changed all who dwell on the earth found in Jesus Christ into Spirit being of flesh and bone, just as was when He appeared to His apostles nearly 3000+ years ago and from this point we start the coming chapters that speak of the glory that is coming for all who have received grace through faith from God and our Lord Jesus Christ. THE NEW HEAVENS AND THE NEW EARTH If you read the above verses slowly and meditate on what the word picture John is attempting to convey, it is beyond the scope of our imagination and no one at this point in this mortal life can fully comprehend the spectacular view the apostle John sees and witnesses, and now becomes real to all who stand back and watch God in action. Can you even envision the power that will be displayed, when God wipes away this old rock we have lived on for many ages in the past, and rolls the heavens back like a scroll, and creates everything brand new?? The earth was made for mankind, and the Garden of Eden was a paradise, but this coming New World and heavens are for the Saints of God, including His bride and all who have believed on our God, in faith, and the glory is beyond anything we can fully comprehend. The prophets down through the ages have spoken of this time in particular that we will see with our own eyes. “For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; and the former shall not be remembered or come to mind. But be glad and rejoice forever in what I create; for behold, I create a Jerusalem as a rejoicing, and her people a joy.” (Isaiah 65:17-19) “Of old, You laid the foundation of the earth, and the heavens are the work of Your hands. They will perish, but You will endure; yes all of them will grow old like a garment, like a cloak You will change them, and they will be changed. But You are the same, and Your years will have no end.” (Psalm 102:25-27) “Looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat . . . Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for a new heaven and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.” (2 Peter 3:12-13) It’s worth remembering that the new heaven referred to doesn’t mean the heaven where God is enthroned. The Bible uses the word heaven in three senses. The first heaven is the earth’s atmosphere, the “blue sky.” The second heaven is outer space, the “night sky.” The third heaven is the place where God lives in glory. When the Scriptures speak of a new heaven, they mean a new “blue sky” and a new “night sky,” not a new heaven where God dwells. WHAT IS THIS NEW HEAVEN AND EARTH? New heaven . . . new earth: The ancient Greek word translated new here (kaine) means “new in character, ‘fresh’.” It doesn’t mean “recent” or “new in time.” This isn’t just the next heaven and the next earth; this is the better heaven and better earth replacing the old (the first earth had passed away). There are those who disagree, thinking this old earth will never pass away, but God says that He will make all things brand new, not revise it, but completely burn up with fervent heat of what was, so that He may bring to pass what the ancient Hebrew word for “create” (bara) means to “create out of nothing,” instead of re-fashioning existing material that the Old Testament prophets spoke of. THE SAINTS FUTURE HOME John sees the Holy City, the New Jerusalem coming down out of heaven, and the city is adorned in glory, as a new bride before her husband. Never has God the Father been on this earth since, at least I believe, Adam and Eve committed sin, but now that is all changed. The Tabernacle of God comes down from heaven, and the Ancient of Days, our ABBA Father takes His place among His adopted children and there will be no more pain, suffering, sorrows or tears, as all things of this mortal age has passed away. 5 “And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. 6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. 7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.” (Revelation 21:5-7) God the Father and God the Son, will reign eternally from the New Jerusalem, and both are of the beginning and the end. Remember that Jesus said that God the Father and the Son “Are ONE”....They have always been and the mortal mind cannot comprehend the infinite with the finite mind, but we will some glorious day coming. I have contemplated the Divine and tried to understand how God and the Son were One from eternity. It's to me, and I could be totally wrong, as I am limited just as you are, but mankind is body, soul and spirit, just as God is Father, Son and Holy Spirit but as we are one within ourselves, He is One within Himself. I am reminded of what John wrote in the Gospels concerning who Jesus is and was.. “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.” (John 1:1-3) What are we to make of this? Jesus who is God everlasting, was with God and they both were God. Note that God is Spirit and it speaks of the seven spirits of God meaning in its completeness. God spoke and it was done. God stepped out of eternity and His spirit became flesh lowering Himself to be a servant for the suffering of death for our salvation. Jesus was a brand new man when He arose from the dead. He was not like Adam to be perishable and mortal, but an entirely new “prototype” of a New Man that we will be as well. 2 “Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. 3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.” (1st John 3:2-3) And when He returned to the Father who sent His Spirit to indwell inside Mary and live till He died at 33.5 years old on Roman cross of torture and death, then Jesus returned to be what He had always been, but different, as He now was a Spiritual “Man” who was fully God and reclaimed His glory that was from the beginning. Like I said, it is beyond my scope and ability to fully comprehend. As the Prophet Isaiah wrote under Holy Spirit direction: 8 “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. 9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.” (Isaiah 55:8-9) That is my feeble attempt to comprehend God the Father, God the Son who is God the Holy Spirit and they are ONE, but three. We can't make heads or tails of the belief, but God said it, and He will explain it in the sweet by and by. 8 “But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. 9 And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb's wife. 10 And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,” (Revelation 21:8-10) Verse 8 is self explanatory, as there will NEVER be evil on the new earth or the new heavens, as they have all been cast into the Lake of Fire and will never be let out of their separation from God or their torment. It is their second death. But here the angels that were responsible for unleashing the wrath of God in the bowl judgment beckon John to show him the New Jerusalem. The text speaks of the Lamb's wife, but to me, it is a metaphor of the glory that it shines as a New Bride on her wedding day. She will be the home eternal of God's children and the Bride of Christ. 11 “Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal; 12 And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel: 13 On the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the south three gates; and on the west three gates. 14 And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.” (Revelation 21:11-14) The description is beyond belief, as the city is adorned with jewels of the color of the rainbow, and is laden with gold. The gates are one huge pearl each, that is mostly like pure white and the foundation the names of the twelve apostles who started where Jesus left off and spread the Gospel far and wide where it spread as a wild fire over the whole earth. This is the Jerusalem of hope (Hebrews 12:22), the Jerusalem above (Galatians 4:26), the place of our real citizenship (Philippians 3:20). 15 “And he that talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof. 16 And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal. 17 And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel. 18 And the building of the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass. 19 And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald; 20 The fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolyte; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, a topaz; the tenth, a chrysoprasus; the eleventh, a jacinth; the twelfth, an amethyst.” (Revelation 21:15-20) The size of this city of God is, for a lack of a better word, HUGE. It is 1500 miles long, 1500 miles wide, and 1500 miles high. Some say it would be covering the land mass from Florida to Maine, and Charlotte to St. Louis, if they were still present, and rise 1500 miles high. Some have suggested that it will be a low flying satellite to orbit the new earth, but we don't even know how big this new earth will be, and there will be no more land divisions of seas. And we don't need oxygen to breath, as we are spirits and the universe will by our oyster. What a glorious thought. John attempts to describe the beauty that will be present and the colors of precious stones will adorn the walls, line the streets of pure gold and the gold will be so pure that it will be near transparent, like crystal. “This is the greatest glory of heaven, and the ultimate restoration of what was lost in the Fall. “I do not think the glory of Eden lay in its grassy walks, or in the boughs bending with luscious fruit-but its glory lay in this, that the ‘Lord God walked in the garden in the cool of the day.’ Here was Adam’s highest privilege, that he had companionship with the Most High.” (C. Spurgeon) So shall we, the children of God and we will inherit all things. 21 “And the twelve gates were twelve pearls: every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass. 22 And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it. 23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof. 24 And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it. 25 And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there. 26 And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it. 27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life.” (Revelation 21:21-29) John continues with the description of this Holy City, trying to impress on the reader the grandeur, the glory, and the eternal nature of this city. It will be a new star in the heavens, as the light of God will be its light that is brighter than many suns. It is done! God’s eternal purpose in Jesus is now accomplished. 9 “Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself: 10 That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him: 11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will: 12 That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ”.(Ephesians 1:9-11) This has all been fulfilled: as the verses above testify, that in the dispensation of the fullness of the times He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven and which are on earth; in Him. At this point, all things have been resolved or summed up in Jesus – it is done! This city is beyond earthly description. She has room for everyone that ever believed on the Name of our Lord. That is how big she is. There will be no temple, no church, no place of worship, save the throne of God as the Father and the Lamb of God are the glory within this city and their light shines to the end of the universe and back. CHAPTER 22: THE RIVER OF LIFE AND THE TREE OF LIFE “And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. 2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. 3 And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him: 4 And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.” (Revelation 22:1-4) The description of what is in store for the children of God is beyond glorious. Here the river of life, and the tree of life, that was in the Garden of Eden is restored to God's people. A pure river of water of life: Through the Old Testament, prophets used the picture of a river as a powerful expression of richness, provision, and peace (Isaiah 48:18, Zechariah 14:8, Ezekiel 47:1-9). Or, as expressed by the Psalmist in Psalm 46:4-5: “There is a river whose streams shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacle of the Most High. God is in the midst of her, she shall not be moved; God shall help her, just at the break of dawn.” From the throne of God and of the Lamb: This river of provision comes right from God’s throne. Because it comes from God, it cannot be anything other than pure and abundant. Ezekiel saw a glorious river (Ezekiel 47) flow down from the temple in Jerusalem and into the sea, but that river belongs to the millennial earth. It is perhaps the final preview of this heavenly river. This is a better river with better trees. “One of the gladdest things on earth is water. There is nothing in all the world so precious to the eye and the imagination of the inhabitant of the dry, burning and thirsty East, as a plentiful supply of bright, pure, and living water.” (Seiss) Matthew Poole wrote that this idea of this river was “To let us know, that in heaven there shall be no want of any thing that can make the saints happy.” Verse 4 reveals that sin will be eradicated, as there is no more tempter of the people. And we will not have the ability to sin and submit to the will of the deceiver or to our prior evil ways. “Henceforth, eternal praises to his name, the throne of God is the throne of the Lamb. It is a throne of righteousness, but no less a throne of grace. There, on the throne of the Almighty, mercy reigns. According to the merit of the sacrifice and the virtue of the atonement all the statutes and decrees of the kingdom of heaven are issued. The altar and the throne have become identical. From that throne no fiery bolt can ever again be hurled against the believer, for it is the throne of the Lamb as well as the throne of God.” (Spurgeon) We will gladly submit to the will of God. And God will be among His people and His name shall be in their foreheads. Does this mean that it will be a brand, or that the thoughts of God and His glory will be foremost in our minds?. Everything will and always has been about Him. Here we will concentrate all our efforts to be the children, the obedient children of a wise and Living God as we will see His face, and we will have a personal one on one relationship with Him. NO barriers, no limitations, and no hindrances to come into His presence, as He will never tire, and since He never tires, neither will we. We will be as Paul said: 16” The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: 17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. 18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. 19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.” (Romans 8:16-19) As John describes what he sees, it is something hard to understand and visualize, as the street has a river going down it, much as the canals of Holland have flowing water, but this water will be beyond anything we have seen in this life. There will be trees lining this street that will produce fruit every month. I see them be diverse and being better than apples, plums, or orange trees. Etc., but a fruit that will make the people of God gloriously happy and the water will be clear as crystal and we will never thirst. Some people wonder if we will eat in heaven. The best answer is that we can eat, but will not have to. In His resurrection body, Jesus enjoyed food (Luke 24:41-43, John 21:12-14). Angels ate with Abraham (Genesis 18:6-8). The great heavenly reunion between Jesus and His people is described as a marriage supper (Revelation 19:9). Even though man fell by what he ate, God will still allow us to eat in heaven. Like the golden table of showbread which ever stood in the ancient Tabernacle and Temple for the priests to eat, so the Tree of Life stands in all the golden streets of the New Jerusalem, with its monthly fruit for the immortal king-priests of heaven. We shall be able to enjoy food, because we will be flesh and bone, just as Jesus was, as He had no blood and needed none, as His life force was the Spirit of God. It will be the new source of our life as well. 5 “And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever. 6 And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to shew unto his servants the things which must shortly be done. 7 Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.” (Revelation 22:5-7) The world we will live on will be totally different than the one we see now. There will be no sun for heat and light, as God will be the Light of our world and our universe. We shall reign with God forever and ever and one would be unable to even imagine what our duties will be in this new world. We will be able to go from planet to planet, or star to star in a flash. The universe will be our oyster and I don't believe there will be any limits to what we as God's Children will be able to accomplish. Who knows what other worlds there are out in the cosmos. Does anyone think that an eternal God has only created one species of life found only on our planet? God has always been and is always creating. Will He also allow us to help Him create and manage the affairs of other worlds?? This is questions that cannot be answered just yet, but God will not be idle, and neither will we. The idea of sitting on a cloud strumming a harp is foolishness, as we will never tire and we will live forever. What can be accomplished in all of eternity. Does that make anyone get a little excited about the promise of our future? I know it does me. 8 “And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things. 9 Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God. 10 And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand.” (Revelation 22:8-10) Thus God is closing down this apocalyptic book and gives warning and admonitions to those who read these words. John falls down to worship the one who is showing him these things, as just as he had before, this elder admonishes him not to do so, as he is a fellowservant and of they brethren the prophets. This elder is a glorified man who has been showing John what is in store for those who believe on Jesus Christ and are adopted into the the family of God and it is almost too much for him to handle and he worships out of turn, and the elder says “Worship God”. 11 “He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. 12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.” (Revelation 22:11-12) It is a warning to all those who read this book, no matter what part of time they inhabit and when and how they come to read this passage. But God says that He is coming quickly and will reward all those who have done works for the Kingdom of God and for His Son, Jesus Christ. It reminds me of the Bema Judgment seat of Christ when Jesus gives rewards for those things done in His Name and they stand forever. But everything else will be burned up. 10 “According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon. 11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12 Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; 13 Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. 14 If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. 15 If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.” (1st Corinthians 3:10-15) Each man and woman will receive reward for service in His Name, and some will rule many cities, and some just a community based on their service. But we all we be rewarded eternal life and would not anyone think that is a reward enough? The rest will be gravy and beyond our scope of understanding. It will be that glorious that no one, not even John could fully use the words enough to describe what is in store for us. The Amplified Bible uses adjectives that flesh out the King James version to describe this: “But, on the contrary, as the Scripture says, What eye has not seen and ear has not heard and has not entered into the heart of man, [all that] God has prepared (made and keeps ready) for those who love Him [who hold Him in affectionate reverence, promptly obeying Him and gratefully recognizing the benefits He has bestowed].” (2nd Corinthians 2:9) 13 “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. 14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. 15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie. 16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.” (Revelation 22:13-16) As Jesus told John at the very beginning, it is He who is doing the revealing of what will be the final reward of the righteous, right along with the wicked. God will eradicate from His presence all wickedness and separate them from Him for all eternity. Some call that hell, or the Lake of Fire. But to have no hope, and nothing that anyone can call good for all eternity, is beyond the description of hell. It is the second death. Jesus is the bright and morning Star and He has revealed to all of us what is coming. From the beginning of the Tribulation, to the Millennial reign, to the beginning of eternity that will have no end. I find the closing verses of this chapter most revealing of who it is that Jesus speaks to and who will be preeminent in the New World. As The Bride of Christ along with the Spirit of God beckons to all who read this message. 17 “And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely. 18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: 19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. 20 He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. 21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.” (Revelation 22:17-21) The Bride of Christ is already in heaven, even before the foundation of this world. God knew who would be His bride, who would love Him and come to Him, and who would do His commandments, because of this love for our Bridegroom and our Savior. Each beckons to all who will not be the bride YET, but can be part of that heavenly body before the end of this Age of Grace which is close at hand. Would you like to experience all the blessings that I have described in these last two chapters? Or would you rather experience the horror, the wrath, and eternal destruction from a God who takes vengeance against all unrighteousness? The choice is definitely up to each individual. No one can coerce anyone to accept anything, as each of us have our own free will. Choose today who you will serve. Either the gods on the other side of the flood, (paganism), or serve the Living God? As Joshua said “ 15"If it is disagreeable in your site to serve the LORD, choose for yourselves this day who you will serve: whether the gods which your fathers served which were beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you are living; but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD." (Joshua 24:15) The choice is yours, my friend, but the ability to choose life is so easy that a child can do it...it comes down to two simple passages, not counting all the others that say the same thing. 16” For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” (John 3:16-18) Let that confession flow into all the world and make others know that Jesus has become your Lord. As God will proclaim those who do not deny His Name to the Father in heaven, but deny those who do. 8 “But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; 9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.” (Romans 10-8-11) This is pastor Mike Taylor, witnessing to you that this earth in its evil form is about to be consumed. God bless you all, TILL WE MEET AT JESUS FEET A Microscopic Picture of End-Time Reality - By Gene Lawley - https://www.raptureready.com/2021/01/08/a-microscopic-picture-of-end-time-reality-by-gene-lawley/
Jesus painted a word picture of how conditions will be in economic, social and spiritual terms when He is “revealed” in the last days, according to Luke’s report in Luke 17:26-30: “And as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man: They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all. Likewise as it was also in the days of Lot: They ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built; but on the day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all. Even so will it be in the day when the Son of Man is revealed.” A parallel passage in Matthew 24:36-44 deals only with conditions in Noah’s time, but for the purpose of this article, the passage in Luke that tells of Lot’s situation more closely aligns with today’s end-time scenario. In Genesis 18-19, the account of Lot and his situation in Sodom are told. In Genesis 18, three men show up at Abraham’s tent whom he recognizes as angels from heaven. Two of them are on their way to Sodom, a city that has attracted God’s attention because its citizens have become saturated with sexual immorality. Homosexuality ran rampant in the city, and God had come to judge its people. The one who stayed behind with Abraham was the pre-historic Christ, the Son of God in the form of a human being. Abraham and the Lord “bargained” over the number of righteous people in the city that it would take for the Lord to hold back His judgment. They stopped at ten, but there were only four—Lot, his wife and two daughters. Even the daughters’ betrothed husbands-to-be were not among the righteous. Let’s draw a comparison with the world today, and specifically, the United States, because it is the citadel of all that is left of freedom and righteousness in the public world today. The steady encroachment of sexual immorality of all kinds, identified by their own label, LBGTQ+P (my addition, for “pervert or perversion”). It is reported that the potential Biden administration is being demanded to allow the sexual revolution to have full sway in his selection of leaders and regulations for his new presidency. In every direction there is compromise with ungodliness, moral degradation and pure evilness. The Bible sums up their evilness in Romans 3:10-18 with the conclusion that “there is no fear of God before their eyes.” Isaiah 5:20 defines the mindset of the unrighteous: “They call good evil and evil good….” It is not surprising, however, for Satan, who empowers the left who are in bondage to him, is said to come as a thief, “only to steal, kill, and destroy” (John 10:10a). It is impossible for Satan and those in his camp to accomplish anything good, let alone godly, for there is not one ounce of goodness in them. Their works are of no merit in the Lord’s eyes. It is interesting how the demons that Jesus encountered dwelling in human beings pled with Him to “not send them back to the abyss, but send us into that herd of pigs” (Luke 8:31). While they did not like to be back in the abyss, their place in hell, they could not be happy dwelling in the man living among the tombs, for they made him into a creature of destruction. It was the same conditions of all of the demon-indwelt people whom Jesus healed. Their presence in those individuals always brought great misery to each one. Thus, the obvious conclusion is that those who do not fear God are without hope, for Solomon’s wisdom tells us that “the fear of the Lord is to hate evil,” and “the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom” (Proverbs 8:13 and 9:10a). Look at the ultimate result of the sexual revolution as it appears to God, in Romans 1:18-32: “For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Professing to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man—and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things. “Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen. “For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due. “And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful; who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.” The city of Sodom is a picture of the whole world, then, and the person of Lot pictures the likeness of the broad, end-time church. It is made up of a mixture of immature, uncommitted believers, dedicated followers of Christ, and even civil people who are not saved. Lot argued with the two angels, not wanting to leave the city, and they practically dragged him and his family out of Sodom. The participation of believers in the partying and business-as-usual atmosphere described in Luke 17:28-30 is apparent today, for it seems few have been “watching,” as Jesus warned us, that the signs of the times might not take us by surprise when the trumpet sounds for His coming. The two angels represent “He who restrains” against the encroaching evil, told of in 2 Thessalonians 2:2-8, when they reach out and take Lot away from that lust-driven crowd of men, pulling him inside the house and blinding the men of the city so that they could not employ their evil intentions upon Lot and the two angels. We see in Lot the desire to compromise with those men by offering his two daughters to them instead of the two angels, but they would have nothing to do with it—they wanted those “men.” It tells us much of what Lot was like, and it is comparable to the broad “church” of today, as well as the civil world. Compromising the truth always diminishes its power and influence. Except for what Peter wrote in 2 Peter 2:7, we might not know that he was really a believer: “… and delivered righteous Lot, who was oppressed by the filthy conduct of the wicked.” When the US Supreme Court issued its opinion on a 6-3 vote recently that updated the 1965 ruling that made discrimination on the basis of sex unlawful, they ruled that sex meant any sexual activity, not just male versus female. The obvious conclusion of that has required that morality and immorality are equal in the sight of the law, a position that will result in the destruction of society. The two opposites are totally unable to exist side-by-side, for where evil is allowed to reign, it seems righteousness is overwhelmed. Thus, the judgment of God is hovering over this nation with impending disaster. Thus, as the body of Spirit-indwelt believers today are protected as the embodiment of “He which restrains,” likewise was Lot protected until the time came for him and his family to be taken completely out of the judgment to come upon the city. This compares with the account reported in 2 Thessalonians 2:2-8: “…Not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come. Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God. “Do you not remember that when I was still with you, I told you these things? And now you know what is restraining, that he may be revealed in his own time. For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way. And then the lawless one will be revealed whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming.” It is very apparent that evil is banging on our doors, demanding to be let in, demanding recognition and equality with righteousness. Those who want to compromise with evil are ready to do so, surely knowing God hates evil. But “There is no fear of God before their eyes.” When will these things come to pass? The “times and seasons” tell us that He is coming to “take away” the redeemed from judgment, but the Scripture makes clear that “today is the day of salvation.” When Jesus answered those who wanted Him to take control over the Roman rule, He would say, as He did in John 7:6, “My time has not yet come, but your time is always ready.” Contact email: [email protected] On the Brink of The Rapture & World Government - By Daymond Duck - https://www.raptureready.com/2021/01/10/on-the-brink-of-the-rapture-and-world-government-by-daymond-duck/
In last week’s article (World Government Looming), I listed some of my opinions about what is going on in the U.S. today. Here are some things I left off the list: · The purpose of censorship, lying and deception is to control the information we read. Globalists do not want us to believe things that contradict what they say. They are trying to silence all opposition to their New World Order (NWO). Most of the media owners are part of the globalist movement, or at the very least, catering to it. · The purpose of gun control is to disarm U.S. citizens that might fight to keep our sovereignty. · The purpose of the “Defund the Police” movement is to replace police departments that may not arrest citizens that might fight to keep our sovereignty with a private police force that is controlled by globalist officials. · No one knows the day or the hour of the Rapture, but if a world government is looming, the Rapture is looming because the Christian’s blessed hope (Titus 2:13) will occur before the world government can appear (II Thess. 2:5-8). One, wickedness, lying and deceit are signs of the end of the age. Here are some things that have been reported about the election: · Following an evaluation of the Nov. 3, 2020, Pennsylvania presidential election, 17 Republican lawmakers said 6,760,230 people voted in the state and 6,962,607 votes were counted (Simply put, there were 202,377 more votes than voters). According to one congressman, Pennsylvania officials should not have certified an election with 202,377 fraudulent votes. Several Pennsylvania representatives said they will contest their state’s electors. · On Dec. 29, 2020, it was reported that Georgia law requires ballot transfer forms to be filled out, dated, signed, the time recorded, and the number of ballots sent by officials to document how many ballots were sent to counties. County officials are also required to fill out a ballot transfer form to document how many ballots they received. Records show that about 600,000 absentee ballots were mailed out, but only 140,000 were accounted for. Put another way, there is no documentation for about 460,000 ballots even though the law requires it. In the past, ballots that did not comply with the law could not be counted, but they were counted this year. Trump contends that he won the election in Georgia because 460,000 votes were illegally counted, and most were given to Biden. · Based on address changes in the U.S. Postal Service National Change of Address database, the election board in two Georgia counties wanted people that had moved out of the counties removed from the voter rolls before the state’s Jan. 6 Senate election, but a federal judge blocked it. The judge is a sister of a prominent Biden supporter, and officials said the judge should have recused herself, but she refused to do it. · On Dec. 30, 2020, prophecy teacher Tom Hughes reported that there are about 133 million registered voters in the U.S., and Trump got about 74 million votes. Biden should have received about 59 million votes (133-74 = 59), but it was reported that he received about 81 million votes. According to this, there were 22 million more votes in the U.S. than registered voters. · On Dec. 30, 2020, it was reported that a poll of Georgia voters conducted by SurveyUSA found that 55% of very conservative voters that have no plans to vote in the Senate runoff election say they do not intend to vote because the election is rigged. · On Dec. 30, 2020, it was reported that a Dept. of Defense official filed a lawsuit in Arizona alleging that illegal ballots were offloaded from a plane in Arizona and taken to Maricopa County where they were counted. The lawsuit has been struck down in two Arizona courts and appealed to the U.S. Supreme Court. · According to commentator Dave Hodges on Dec. 30, 2020, Stew Peters, host of The Politically Correct Radio Show, claims to have documents, videos photos and audio recordings that will prove the existence of illegal, fraudulent ballots on planes that landed in Phoenix, Arizona, on Nov. 7, 2020. According to the article, Peters said almost 800,000 votes were laundered in Arizona. · On Dec. 30, 2020, a Georgia Senate subcommittee was told that officials in Georgia were hacked into a Dominion voting machine over the Internet in Fulton County, Georgia, at that very moment and that these officials could change the vote counts over the Internet if they wanted to. This prompted the Georgia Senate subcommittee to pass a motion to audit the Fulton County ballots. Here is a link: https://www.brighteon.com/397287a5-e5bb-4a86-bbfb-982d42e5da05 Here is another link about Dominion involvement (treason) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qZ_ks_sNITg The next day, on Dec. 31, 2020, it was reported that moving trucks went to the warehouse where Fulton County, Georgia, ballots were stored, the ballots were removed, and in the process of being shredded so they could not be audited. Here is a link to the report: https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2020/12/breaking-big-jovan-pulitzer-says-georgia-destroying-fulton-county-evidence-supposed-scanning-video/ · On Dec. 31, 2020, Sen. Lindsey Graham was calling for an investigation, but Democrats were opposing it (If there was no fraud, why are they opposing an investigation?). · On Jan. 2, 2021, 7 U.S. senators and 4 U.S. senators-elect asked Congress to appoint an Electoral Commission to hold a 10-day audit of the election. It has been reported that Vice-Pres. Pence has the authority to approve it, but what he will do is a matter of speculation (Note: On Jan. 4, 2021, this was up to 16-18 U.S. senators, including the 2 from Georgia). · On Jan. 2, 2021, Trump called Georgia Sec. of State, Brad Raffensperger, and asked him for an honest tabulation of the ballots in that state. Raffensperger said Trump “repeatedly asked him to alter the outcome of the presidential vote in the state.” The Washington Post said a transcript of the call shows that Raffensperger’s claim is false. · On Jan. 3, 2021, it was reported that Pres. Trump’s percentage of black and Latino votes doubled over 2016. · Democrats, the Media, and big tech say Trump has presented no proof of voter fraud, but the U.S. Supreme Court has refused to look at the proof in every case that has come before it (and the same is true of most of the lower courts). · Democrats have not won this election; the shadow government has rejected the people’s choice and appointed a winner because they want a president that will support “The Great Reset,” to go along with dividing the world into 10 regions with 10 leaders that will later approve the appointment of a godless person to rule over the whole earth. This will take a little time, but they are preparing to speed things up, and the Rapture will cause them to go to warp speed. It is important to understand the globalist three-phase plan: 1) Divide the world into 10 regional trading blocks of nations (an economic or financial NWO; EU, USMCA, etc.), 2) Convert the 10 regional trading blocks of nations into 10 political blocks of nations (a political NWO), and 3) Merge the 10 political blocks of nations into a godless one-world government. Originally, the goal was to do this by 2030, but I have seen unofficial reports (prophecy teachers, etc.) that they have decided to speed it up. God often causes sin to backfire (Psa. 7:14-16; Gal. 6:7-8). I pray for the truth to prevail, but if the truth does not prevail, the day may come when U.S. citizens refer to the Trump presidency as the “good old days.” Know that my articles are usually submitted to the Rapture Ready editor about 4 or 5 days before they are posted, and at the time of this writing, it is being reported that Trump plans to release a massive amount of voter-fraud data in the next few days. Two, on Jan. 3, 2021, it was reported that a highly respected Christian leader and host of “Family Talk” on more than 1,300 radio stations, Dr. James Dobson, is saying the Republican loss of the two Senate Seats in Georgia will lead to the loss of “government of the people, by the people and for the people” because the Democrats will add more Senate Seats (Washington, DC, and Puerto Rico) and more judges to the U.S. Supreme Court. If the shadow government gains control of every branch of the U.S. government through the Democrat Party, there will be no way to stop the surrender of U.S. sovereignty. Three, as I understand things I am reading, under “The Great Reset”: · There will be a world government. · The Constitution of the U.S. will be null and void. · Global leaders will be appointed, not elected. · There will be no national symbols (flags, national anthems, etc.). · The government will own everything (no private property). · Children will be the property of the state. · There will be no freedom of religion (the global ethic will be the only acceptable religion). · There will be no freedom of speech (saying mother, father, etc., will be illegal). · Drugs, abortion, and immorality will be legalized and thrive. · Everyone will be spied upon and tracked. · The world’s leaders will be so powerful, it will take the intervention of God to stop it. For those that doubt it, listen to Biden’s own words on Jan. 4, 2021, “It is time to change America.” Four, Global pestilences will kill multitudes during the Tribulation Period, and on Dec. 29, 2020, it was reported that World Health Organization medical experts are warning that Covid-19 will mutate into strains that are more dangerous than the current strain. Three new mutations have already appeared in other countries. Five, an increase in the frequency and intensity of earthquakes is a sign of the end of the age (Matt. 24:7), and volcanic eruptions are always accompanied by earthquakes. On Jan. 3, 2021, it was reported that 46 volcanoes are currently erupting or spewing gas. Six, on Jan. 1, 2021, it was reported that the Palestinian Authority has notified the Biden administration that it is ready “to resume negotiations (on a peace treaty) with Israel as soon as possible through American mediation and without preconditions.” The PA cannot be trusted; some pundits believe the PA thinks it can get Biden to push Israel into a peace treaty that will favor the PA and harm Israel, but there will be a worthless peace treaty at some point after the Rapture. Seven, on Jan. 3, 2021, Democrat Rep. Emanuel Cleaver, an ordained Methodist preacher that should know better, ended a prayer in the House of Representatives with “amen and awoman.” Dr. Franklin Graham pointed out that the Bible says, “God created them male and female” (Gen. 1:27). Paul said people will have “a form of godliness” in the last days (II Tim. 3:5). Jesus taught that the church will be “lukewarm” (Rev. 3:16) at the end of the age. With multitudes of U.S. citizens sick and dying from Covid, millions out of work, the nation being torn apart by election fraud, millions wondering if they should get vaccinated for Covid, and many other problems, this ordained pastor prayed to the false god “Brahma (probably the 4-headed Hindu god) and many gods in many faiths,” and to make it even worse, other Methodist pastors defended him. According to the Bible, God gives people over to a reprobate mind (Rom. 1:28), and if this pastor’s prayer (and the defense of other pastors) is not an example of reprobate thinking, what is? I personally know many faithful and dedicated Methodist pastors and Church members, but some will be spued out and left behind if they do not repent before it is forever too late (and it is all denominations, not just the Methodists (Rev. 3:16). Finally, God loves you, and if you have not done so, sincerely admit that you are a sinner; believe that Jesus is the virgin born, sinless Son of God who died for the sins of the world, was buried, and raised from the dead; ask Him to forgive your sins, cleanse you, come into your heart and be your Saviour; then tell someone that you have done this. Daymond Duck [email protected] The Biblical Indictment of America - by Bill Salus - http://prophecynewsstand.blogspot.com/2021/01/the-biblical-indictment-of-america.html
Note: This article was originally posted by Bill Salus back in May of 2016 but, it prophetically speaks to our present day! World history confirms what the Bible boldly declares: The establishment and future of a city, territory, nation or empire, is determined by the Lord. Concerning the creation of a nation, we are told in Acts 17:26, “And He (God) has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their preappointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings.” The prophet Jeremiah explains how the future of a nation is determined. “The instant I speak concerning a nation and concerning a kingdom, to pluck up, to pull down, and to destroy it, if that nation against whom I have spoken turns from its evil, I will relent of the disaster that I thought to bring upon it.” (Jer. 18:7-8) “And the instant I speak concerning a nation and concerning a kingdom, to build and to plant it, if it does evil in My sight so that it does not obey My voice, then I will relent concerning the good with which I said I would benefit it.” (Jer. 18:9-10) This article takes a look at the epic tales of two infamous cities, Nineveh and Jerusalem. These comparisons are made to determine which one of these locations best characterizes America’s current spiritual condition. If such a historical comparison can be applied now, then the relevant question is: Should Americans find hope in Jeremiah 18:7-8, with the story of Nineveh at the time of Jonah, or feel despair in the story of Jeremiah 18:9-10, which describes Jerusalem at the time of the Babylonian conquest? To determine the answer, I propose the examination of two principles that I call “The Nineveh Principle” and “The Jerusalem Principle”. THE NINEVEH PRINCIPLE “I think in many ways America is like Nineveh. The wickedness of Nineveh was so great that God effectively said it was recognized up in heaven – ‘the sin of Nineveh has come before me’ – and I believe America is at such a state.” (Senior Calvary Chapel Pastor and Evangelist Greg Laurie.) The Nineveh Principle has its origin in the 8th century BC before Jeremiah 18:7-10 was written. It is rooted in 2 Chronicles 7:14; “If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” Although these verses primarily dealt with the Lord’s response to King Solomon’s petition for the protection of the nation of Israel around 957 BC, they apparently also laid the groundwork for the Lord’s treatment toward other nations. The Assyrian city of Nineveh at the time of Jonah about 760 BC evidences this. Nineveh, the capital city of the Assyrian empire, was ultimately destroyed around 612 BC; however the empire had become exceedingly evil long before it came to its end. At the height of its wickedness, the Lord sent Jonah, a prophet, to warn of Nineveh’s fast approaching destruction. “And Jonah began to enter the city on the first day’s walk. Then he cried out and said, “Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown!”” (Jonah 3:4) Jonah’s warning was well received by the king and the people of Nineveh. They took it upon themselves to turn from their evil ways and Nineveh received a stay of execution. “Then God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God relented from the disaster that He had said He would bring upon them, and He did not do it.” (Jonah 3:10) Although it can be argued that the Assyrians at the time were not classified as “My people,” the fact that they repented and turned from their evil ways changed their spiritual standing with the Lord. With the historical precedents of 2 Chronicles 7:14 and Jonah 3:10 already in place, Jeremiah 18:7-8 reinforces this Nineveh Principle: if an evil people repent and turn from their wicked ways, the Lord will relent from bringing disaster upon them. THE JERUSALEM PRINCIPLE In sharp contrast to the Nineveh Principle, is the Jerusalem Principle. The Jerusalem Principle applies when a nation reaches a point of no return and the Lord determines that its destruction will not be postponed. This happened to the city of Jerusalem and the Southern Kingdom of Judah about 2700 years ago during the time of the Hebrew prophet Jeremiah. Three times Jeremiah was told to stop praying for the people of Judah. “Therefore do not pray for this people, nor lift up a cry or prayer for them, nor make intercession to Me; for I will not hear you. Do you not see what they do in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem?” (Jer. 7:16) “So do not pray for this people, or lift up a cry or prayer for them; for I will not hear them in the time that they cry out to Me because of their trouble.” (Jer. 11:14) “Then the LORD said to me, “Do not pray for this people, for their good. When they fast, I will not hear their cry; and when they offer burnt offering and grain offering, I will not accept them. But I will consume them by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence.”” (Jer. 14:11-12) After Jeremiah received his instructions to quit praying for the people of Judah, he forewarned them of their impending judgment. The people were captured and transported into Babylonian captivity where they remained for seventy years. Their homeland sat desolated during that period. In His foreknowledge the Lord knew that Judah would not have a Nineveh or 2 Chronicles 7:14 moment. Jeremiah’s intercessory prayers on behalf of Judah would have no effect on the Lord’s decision and he was told to cease praying for the people. The Lord explained why: “Therefore you (Jeremiah) shall speak all these words to them, (in Judah) but they will not obey you. You shall also call to them, but they will not answer you.” (Jer. 7:27) In essence, Jeremiah was informed that the people of Judah would not respond to his warnings in the similar way that the people of Nineveh did to Jonah’s forewarnings. As per the provision of forgiveness given in Jeremiah 18:7-8, if Judah would have repented, like Nineveh did, then the Lord would certainly have relented from judgment. However, due to their evildoings and disobedience the Lord implemented the provision of judgment in Jeremiah 18:9-10, which was ultimately executed through the Babylonian conquest. The people of Judah forsook their God Jehovah and became idolatrous. Jeremiah 19:4-9 provides the indictment of; and verdict for, Judah. These verses paint a graphic picture of despair and they are summarized below. The INDICTMENT of JUDAH (Jeremiah 19:4-5) • The people forsook the Lord and alienated Him from Judah. • They worshipped false gods instead. • They sacrificed the innocent blood of their children to the false god Baal. • Child sacrifice appalled the Lord. The VERDICT of JUDAH (Jeremiah 19:6-9) A judgment in the form of a slaughter would come as sequenced below. • The counselors of Judah would provide foolish counsel. • The people of Judah would be killed by the swords of their enemies. • Their corpses would be eaten by the vultures and carnivorous animals. • The land would be desolated and contaminated with plagues. • The survivors would become cannibals in order to survive. • They would even eat their own sons and daughters due to their despair. It is important to note that the Lord told Adam and Eve in Genesis 1:22, 28 and Noah and his three sons in Genesis 9:1, 7 to be fruitful and multiply upon the earth. The goal was to populate the earth with godly offspring. Contrary to the Lord’s command, the people of Judah were murdering and ultimately reduced to eating their children! The Jerusalem Principle depicts what has historically happened when judgment and destruction occurs to an evil people who forsake the Lord. AMERICA’S INDICTMENT “We have taken God out of the public debate…I want to put Him back in.” Evangelist Franklin Graham. America has crossed every forbidden biblical boundary and in so doing has forsaken God. Throughout history nations and empires have been judged and destroyed for transgressing these biblically defined moral and spiritual boundaries! Boundaries such as: • SEXUAL PERVERSION, like that of Sodom and Gomorrah at the time of Abraham around 2000 BC. • IDOL WORSHIP, which in its worst conditions led to child sacrifice, which resulted in the destruction of the Northern Kingdom of Israel in 722 BC and the Southern Kingdom of Judah in 586 BC. • WICKEDNESS AND MORAL DECADENCE, which caused the ultimate destruction of the Assyrian empire about 612 BC by the Babylonians and Medes. • ANTI-SEMITISM, which led to the destruction of the Egyptian army at the time of Moses about 3500 BC. The treatment of Israel by a nation is reciprocated upon that nation according to Genesis 12:3. This policy pertains to Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and their descendants, the Jews today. Blessings are in store for those who treat Israel favorably, but troubles are guaranteed to them that curse Israel. In every instance the destructions caused unbearable sufferings and hardships to everyone, including believers in God and unbelievers that did not heed the prophetic warnings given in advance by the Hebrew prophets. (Tombstone image quotes Daniel 5:24-28 – MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN. God has numbered your kingdom, and finished it; You have been weighed in the balances, and found wanting; Your kingdom has been divided). (June 26, 2015 is when the Supreme Court approved same sex marriages). AMERICA IS IN THE DANGER ZONE Over the past fifty years, America has transgressed over all of these dangerous boundaries. This is attested to by the Supreme Court decisions listed below. • 1962 – Engel v. Vitale: the removal of Prayer in public schools by the Supreme Court. • 1963 – Abington School District v. Schempp: the removal of Bible reading in public schools by the Supreme Court. • 1973 – Roe v. Wade: legalized abortions by the Supreme Court. Since then, America has performed over 58 million abortions. Presently about 1 million abortions occur every year in America. This law means that about 1 million children annually will not be able to grow up, populate the earth and potentially become Godly offspring. • 1980 – Stone v. Graham: in this case the Supreme Court ruled that a Kentucky statute was unconstitutional. The statute in question required the posting of a copy of the Ten Commandments on the wall of each public classroom in the state. The Court ruled that because they were being placed in public classrooms they were in violation of the First Amendment. • 2003 – Lawrence v. Texas: This was the landmark decision by the United States Supreme Court that struck down the sodomy law in Texas, which by extension, invalidated sodomy laws in 13 other states. • 2013 – United States v. Windsor: the case that the Supreme Court struck down the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA). DOMA stated that one man should be married to one woman. DOMA was biblically supported according to Genesis 2:24, which says; “Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.” Marriage is the ordained relationship through which a man and woman can become fruitful and multiply the earth with godly children. • 2015 – Obergefell v. Hodges: the Supreme Court case that ruled in favor of Same Sex Marriages, which is unbiblical according to Romans 1:27 and elsewhere. Same sex couples are unable to procreate naturally. Therefore, it is humanly impossible for them to be fruitful and populate the earth with godly kids. • 2015 – The present White House Administration has turned its back on Israel. As an example, Obama believes the Iran JCPOA nuclear deal is good, but Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu believes it’s the worst deal imaginable. A recent poll conducted by the “Panels Politics in Tel Aviv” confirmed the concerns that Israelis have about U.S. President Barrack Obama. The poll overwhelmingly rated him as the worst president for Israel in the last 30 years. The Lord has provided ample warnings to Americans that the country is headed for destruction. These forewarnings have come in the forms of remedial judgments, prophetic voices, and ultimately by giving them the ungodly leaders they deserve. For instance, U.S. President Barack Hussein Obama is the most pro-abortion, pro-homosexual, and anti-Israel president in America’s history! AMERICA’S VERDICT Which of these two cities does America most resemble today, forgiven Nineveh or judged Jerusalem? Most would agree that once upon a time the Lord planted, built up and blessed this nation. This would connect the USA with Jeremiah 18:9, which says, “And the instant I speak concerning a nation and concerning a kingdom, to build and to plant it.” It appears safe to also suggest that from the Supreme Court decisions provided above, that America has, as Franklin Graham stated, “Taken God out of the public debate.” Thus, if the Lord’s voice is not even in the public debate, then how can we be obeying the Lord’s say-so in the important matters of this country? If we are not obeying the Lord’s commands then we are doing evil in His sight. This would connect the USA with Jeremiah 18:10a, which states, “if it (a nation) does evil in My sight so that it does not obey My voice, then…” Then what? “Then I will relent concerning the good with which I said I would benefit it?” (Jer. 18:10b). Let’s substitute America for Jerusalem and Judah in Jeremiah 7:16 to see if the shoe fits. “Therefore do not pray for this people, nor lift up a cry or prayer for them, nor make intercession to Me; for I will not hear you. Do you not see what they do in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem?” (Jer. 7:16) This verse is paraphrased below for potential American application. “Therefore do not pray for Americans, nor lift up a cry or prayer for them, nor make intercession to Me; for I will not hear you. Do you not see the forbidden biblical boundaries their Supreme Court has crossed over in the city of Washington D.C., the sale of aborted baby body parts by Planned Parenthood of the Pacific Southwest, and the LGBT Gay Pride Parades in the streets of San Francisco and San Diego?” WILL AMERICA HAVE A NINEVEH OR JERUSALEM EXPERIENCE? Is it possible that the historical example of Nineveh could be repeated in America? If indeed America is headed for a disaster, could America receive a similar pardon from the Lord? The answer is yes, but the Lord does not issue “get out of jail free” cards like in the game of Monopoly. Americans and their leaders must sincerely emulate the actions of Nineveh in order for the Lord to relent from destroying the nation. I’m not saying that Americans should stop praying for their country, nor am I suggesting that Americans will become so desperate that they will someday eat their sons and daughters. In fact, Ezekiel says that was a one-time episode for Judah that wouldn’t be repeated. “And I will do among you (Jerusalem) what I have never done, and the like of which I will never do again, because of all your abominations. Therefore fathers shall eat their sons in your midst, and sons shall eat their fathers; and I will execute judgments among you, and all of you who remain I will scatter to all the winds.” (Ezekiel 5:9-10) What I am asking Americans to consider is does America have a national repentance forthcoming in the near future? If the answer is yes, then America will most resemble forgiven Nineveh and Jeremiah 18:7-8. If the answer is no, then… Then what? Then, at the very least, the Lord will no longer bless this nation and America’s greatness will never return! Only God, who knows the end from the beginning, knows America’s final verdict! “Remember the former things of old, For I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like Me, Declaring the end from the beginning, And from ancient times things that are not yet done, Saying, ‘My counsel shall stand, And I will do all My pleasure.’” (Isaiah 46:9-10) |
