People called globalists, the Global Elite, the Shadow Government, and various other names want to create and run a New World Order. A New World Order implies the demise of the current world order. The slogan of many globalists (including the Biden Administration, the UN, and Pope Francis) is “Build Back Better,” but to build back, the current world order must be destroyed first. To Build Back Better implies a better world, but globalists are really trying to gain total control of everyone on earth (our religious system, our political system, our economic system; what we buy, what we sell, what we say, what we own, where we live, where we work, who we worship, and more). In 2021, they will be seeking global approval to bring about their New World Order through the Davos Dialogues, the Great Reset, World Bank, IMF, G-7, and G-20 meetings. Notice that all of these meetings are gatherings of elite globalists and not gatherings of people that have been elected by ordinary citizens. At two meetings in 2019 (the UN and the World Economic Forum), Pres. Trump said, “The future does not belong to globalists. It belongs to patriots.” Trump’s patriotism and nationalism are in direct opposition to the New World Order globalism. I may be wrong, and if I am, I ask God to forgive me, but here is my opinion on some of the things that are happening: · The purpose of the election fraud (should I call it treason) is to remove Trump, bring down the current nationalist world order, and empower people to replace the current world order with the New World Order. It will take most of 2021 for “The Davos Dialogues” (Jan. 25-29), “The Great Reset” (May 18-21), the IMF, World Bank, and other meetings to be held, proposals to be adopted, dates set for new laws to go into effect, etc., but the inauguration of a president that intends to push this signifies that a world government is on the way. · The purpose of small business lockdowns is to impoverish owners and their employees to make them dependent upon government for a check so these people can be forced to obey the New World Order. If you do not think the U.S. government would do this to U.S. citizens, please explain why the first version of the recent stimulus bill proposed more money for pork projects (museums, Pakistan, Lebanon, Egypt, Burma, Sudan, etc.) than it proposed for unemployed citizens in the U.S. Please explain why it proposed nothing for restaurant owners, Gym owners and others in the U.S. · Why aren’t American taxpayers put first? (Trump signed the bill but sent it back to Congress with instructions to cut the amount of pork and increase the benefits to U.S. citizens. Also, know that the trillions that are being spent on bailouts are setting the stage for hyper-inflation and an economic collapse during the Tribulation Period.) · The purpose of Church lockdowns is to weaken the Church and silence most of the opposition to world government. · The purpose of the Coronavirus is to initiate a program that will eventually be used to number and track everyone on earth. It is currently being used to desensitize people to the Mark of the Beast. When that is enacted, people will not be allowed to live the way they want to live. People will be forced to live the way the elite tell them to live or they will be removed from the earth. (The Mark of the Beast is a minimum of 3 ½ years from now). · The purpose of Climate Change is wealth redistribution (Your wealth, not the elite’s wealth. You won’t own anything, but they will be very rich) and support for a world government that says natural disasters are a global problem that needs a global solution. · The purpose of enticing multi-millionaire athletes to kneel during the national anthem, enticing rioters to destroy statues, etc., is to convince citizens that the U.S. is a bad nation and capitalism must be replaced. · The censorship, lying and deception of most of the media is because many of the rich, elite owners are part of the shadow government or, at the very least, are catering to it. · The purpose of abortion, the gay agenda, euthanasia, etc., is to slow population growth in the world. · The opposition to a wall on the U.S.-Mexican border is because the globalists want a borderless world. · The globalist desire to divide Israel is because they ignore or don’t believe the Bible (a big mistake). · God put Trump in office as a roadblock because the time had not arrived, but at some point in time, God will permit the globalists to establish and control a wicked world government for 7 years. · Trump was spied on, falsely accused of colluding with the Russians, impeached by the House, ridiculed by the media for four years, and some of his friends were prosecuted, but nothing has been done to Hillary, Obama, Biden, Comey, Brennan, or any of the Democrats. The U.S. government has three divisions: Executive, Judicial, and Legislative – and under a Biden administration, all of them will be corrupt. Even if the Republicans control the Senate, there are enough corrupt Republicans for the corruption to continue unabated. My opinions can be summed up this way: It looks like a world government is looming (The reason is sin and the abandonment of God in America). Here are some recent reports on current events: One, on Dec. 23, 2020, it was reported that a subcommittee of the Georgia Standing Senate Judiciary Committee issued a report that says the election was “chaotic and any reported results must be viewed as untrustworthy.” They called for the Legislature to carefully consider its obligations under the U.S. Constitution, for the governor and the entire General Assembly to convene, and if the majority of the General Assembly agrees with the subcommittee’s findings, they should rescind the certification of the election. According to the article, the General Assembly can do this when there is evidence of election fraud. I have not seen a report on what they will do. Two, it has been reported that Ron Raffensperger, the brother of Georgia’s Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, is employed by a Chinese government-owned company called Huawei Enterprise Storage Solutions. Brad is an avid anti-Trumper, and some believe he has been heavily involved in Georgia’s apparent election fraud. Three, The Trump Campaign has asked the U.S. Supreme Court to rule on several election fraud issues before Jan. 6, 2020, the day that Congress counts and certifies the electoral votes. The court responded by setting the hearing for Jan. 22, 2021, two days after Biden is sworn in on Jan. 20, 2021. On Jan. 22, 2021, the court is expected to say the hearing is not necessary because the election is over and Biden has already been sworn in. This is one more indication that the U.S. Supreme Court is controlled by the Shadow Government and is no longer serving in the best interests of the U.S. citizens. What is the purpose of having a U.S. Supreme Court when the results are determined before a case is heard by judges doing things like this? What is the purpose of having elections if they are not honest? Why vote if corrupt individuals are going to be allowed to determine who wins. Four, on Oct. 2019, Joe Biden said if he is elected, “No one in my family will have an office in the White House, will sit in on meetings as if they are a cabinet member, will, in fact, have any business relationship with anyone that relates to a foreign corporation or a foreign country.” On Dec. 24, 2020, Fox News reported that a company solely owned by Hunter Biden (called Skaneateles) owns a 10% stake in a Chinese equity firm called Bohai Harvest RST (BHR). Two days before this, the Wall Street Journal reported that one of BHR’s financiers is the Bank of China. According to the report, Hunter says he is trying to sell his interest in the Chinese company, and Joe’s transition team will not discuss it. Many believe a special counsel needs to be appointed to investigate this matter. Five, on Dec. 23, 2020, a judge in Arizona refused a request by the Arizona State Senate to examine the voter machines in Maricopa County. He will let them refile their case, but it will probably be too late to do anything by then. Six, readers have sent me reports that say the building that was destroyed in the Nashville Christmas day bombing housed a shadow government super-computer system and election voting machines that were scheduled to be audited this week. A second report said a Christmas Day fire destroyed a printing company in Rochester, New York, that is believed to have printed hundreds of thousands of fraudulent election ballots. I cannot confirm some of the information in the articles, but if they are true, two disasters with ties to the election on the same day in different states looks suspicious. Seven, concerning the prophesied growth of Israel at the end of the age, on Dec. 27, 2020, it was reported that Israel believes a Biden administration will oppose settlement construction on the West Bank, so Israel plans to approve more settlements before Biden is inaugurated. Eight, on Dec. 22, 2020, Israel’s unity government led by Netanyahu and Gantz collapsed. By law, another election must occur 90 days later (Mar. 23, 2021). This will be Israel’s fourth election in less than two years. Ultimately, the Messiah must occupy the Throne of David in Jerusalem and rule over Israel as the King of kings and Lord of lords. Nine, on Dec. 27, 2020, our Baptist Sunday School lesson was about a devout man named Simeon who was waiting for the day the Messiah would bring consolation (comfort) to Israel, and it was revealed to him that he would not die before he had seen the Messiah (Luke 2:25-26). It occurred to me that Christians are waiting for the day the Messiah will bring consolation (comfort; the Rapture; I Thess. 4:13-18) to the Church, and it has been revealed that the generation that sees the return of Israel will not die before everything is fulfilled (Matt. 24:32-34). Finally, God loves you, and if you have not done so, sincerely admit that you are a sinner; believe that Jesus is the virgin-born, sinless Son of God who died for the sins of the world, was buried, and raised from the dead; ask Him to forgive your sins, cleanse you, come into your heart and be your Saviour; then tell someone that you have done this. Daymond Duck [email protected] How elites are leveraging COVID to 'Reset' the world - By David Kupelian - https://www.wnd.com/2021/01/elites-leveraging-covid-reset-world/ Looking back at 2020, it’s undeniable that this has been one of the strangest years in American history – from January’s sham presidential impeachment, to the coronavirus pandemic and economy-destroying national lockdown, to widespread hysterical demands to “defund the police” while Marxist mobs burned and looted American cities, to Big Tech scandalously suppressing journalism it doesn’t like, to Big Media openly siding with the senile and corrupt Joe Biden while portraying President Donald Trump as a mentally ill, racist would-be dictator, to November’s breathtakingly rigged election – likely the most crooked and corrupt in our history. In between these wall-to-wall crises, blue-state mayors and governors still found time to close churches while keeping strip clubs open, destroy as many small businesses as possible while encouraging rioting, and threaten law-abiding citizens with arrest and imprisonment for having too many people in their home for Thanksgiving or Christmas. The widespread anxiety, confusion, distrust, and most of all, anger and fear resulting from these events all but guarantees ongoing division and violence throughout America, if not outright civil war. It’s been well over a century since American national politics was this ugly and explosive. Yet what is happening in our nation today cannot truly be understood by looking at it through a political lens. It’s often said “politics is downstream from culture” – that is, a society’s political life reflects its citizens’ deeply held cultural values. But culture in turn is downstream from religion, which represents the “unseen realm” of ultimate issues like good and evil, sin and redemption, the origin, meaning and purpose of life, and where we spend eternity. This all-important moral-spiritual dimension in which human beings uniquely dwell is the only frame of reference by which one can really comprehend what is happening in America right now. For the great war in which Americans are engaged is not left versus right, Democrat versus Republican, or Trump supporters versus Biden supporters. Rather, it is one of good versus evil. And as usual, it features a great evil masquerading as noble and good, while accusing what is good and decent of being immoral and reprobate. It’s a classic case of projection – evil pretending to be good while condemning good as evil. Which brings us to the “Great Reset.” What we cryptically call “the left” is, of course, always trying to “reset,” “reform” or “transform” the world, as it is a fundamentally revolutionary worldview. Barack Obama, just prior to being elected president in 2008, famously said, “We are five days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America.” Today, Joe Biden likewise insists he wants to “transform” America. Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, breathlessly anticipating the upcoming Georgia runoff races that will determine control of the U.S. Senate, announced with a flourish: "Now we take Georgia, and then we change America!" Are global elites using COVID to 'Reset' the world? Yes No What are they all talking about? In a world of very deeply flawed human beings, America has already been blessed with the most enlightened, noble, moral, compassionate and liberty-preserving political and economic system in world history. Superficially, those on the hard left claim they want a socialist utopia (though most avoid the word “socialist”) where justice and equality prevail. But that’s not the prize they truly seek. Let’s take a closer look. ‘Build back better’ In the case of the “Great Reset,” global elites, including right here in America, are intent on leveraging the coronavirus pandemic into a completely new world system. The first and most pivotal phase of the Great Reset plan under cover of COVID is, of course, winning the 2020 presidential election through a dizzyingly multifaceted attack on the integrity of the U.S. election system itself, on top of a unified campaign by Big Media and Big Tech to elect Joe Biden at all costs. Whereas Trump, as president, has represented “America First” and all the traditional moral and constitutional underpinnings of genuine American greatness, Biden is fully on board with the “Great Reset.” In fact, Biden’s campaign chose as its official campaign slogan the seemingly innocuous phrase, “Build Back Better.” “Build Back Better” is literally the slogan of the “Great Reset,” coined by its originator and main advocate, World Economic Forum founder Klaus Schwab. Under cover of the COVID-19 pandemic, Schwab insists the entire world must “act jointly and swiftly to revamp all aspects of our societies and economies,” meaning, as he explains, “we need a ‘Great Reset’ of capitalism.” In other words, socialism. Indeed, right now, the elite class in America and around the world is planning – in fact, openly bragging about – the “Great Reset,” whereby they intend to leverage the COVID era’s widespread public fears and government’s rampant emergency powers to “reset” the world’s economic, social and governmental systems to institute a “more just” global socialist utopia – run by them. Schwab, patriarch of the “Great Reset,” explains: “The level of cooperation and ambition this implies is unprecedented. But it is not some impossible dream. In fact, one silver lining of the pandemic is that it has shown how quickly we can make radical changes to our lifestyles. Almost instantly, the crisis forced businesses and individuals to abandon practices long claimed to be essential, from frequent air travel to working in an office.” “Every country,” insists Schwab, “from the United States to China, must participate, and every industry, from oil and gas to tech, must be transformed.” Prince Charles is a key advocate for the Great Reset, as is International Monetary Fund chief economist Gina Gopinath, U.N. Secretary General António Guterres, as well as heads of many major corporations, including Microsoft. Former Secretary of State John Kerry is all in, recently exclaiming: "The notion of a reset is more important than ever before. I personally believe ... we're at the dawn of an extremely exciting time." In fact, during a World Economic Forum panel discussion in mid-November, Kerry – who figures to be a special presidential envoy for Biden on climate issues – publicly affirmed not only that the Biden administration will support the Great Reset, but that it “will happen with greater speed and with greater intensity than a lot of people might imagine.” Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is remarkably frank about the subterfuge under which the global Reset elites are operating: “This pandemic has provided an opportunity for a reset. This is our chance to accelerate our pre-pandemic efforts to reimagine our economic systems that actually address global challenges like extreme poverty, inequality and climate change.” Many might ask, what’s wrong with combatting poverty and inequality? What many Democrat Party voters – especially younger millennials – naively fail to comprehend is twofold: First, not only doesn’t socialism cure poverty – in fact, it creates it – but socialism also necessitates turning a society into a totalitarian dictatorship; after all, radical wealth redistribution only occurs when the brute power of government compels it. But even more fundamentally, the world’s elites do not really want equality for everybody. Historically, from Stalin to Mao to Chavez, Marxist/socialist leaders have never been truly interested in everyone being equal. That’s just happy-talk to seduce the masses. They want, first and foremost, power, they want wealth and privilege for themselves, they want glory, they want revenge on their enemies, and they want worship. In a word, they want to be gods. Which brings us to the nuclear core of the issue: The original temptation in the Garden of Eden was, “Ye shall be as gods.” (Genesis 3:5) But when humans try to become gods, they turn into devils. Indeed, from abortion up to the moment of birth to the celebration of transgenderism to mandatory gun confiscation to the outright suppression of free speech, today’s Democratic Party increasingly is promoting policies and agendas that are either insane or evil – or both. Evangelist Franklin Graham recently urged Georgia voters to reject what he called the "demonic” agenda of the Democratic Party in the two January elections to determine the majority in the U.S. Senate. "I hope the church and all Georgians will see through this demonic-driven abortion agenda," he said. "This is not just a political issue, it is a moral and biblical issue. We need leadership in our nation that sees the wisdom in defending life." Graham, the CEO of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and Samaritan's Purse, noted that Senate candidate “Rev.” Raphael Warnock had tweeted his support for "reproductive justice." “Justice”? What an ironic term to use, when abortion represents the biggest and most significant injustice of our time, and perhaps in all of American history – the genocide of tens of millions of innocent human babies. Summarizing America’s current state, Los Angeles mega-pastor John MacArthur recently told Laura Ingraham: “America's in a moral free fall. … You murder the babies in the womb. If they survive the womb, you try to seduce them into transgender sexual deviation when they're young. If they survive that, you corrupt them with a godless education. If they survive that, you have divorce in the family. And if they grow to be adults, we drown them in a sea of pornography. This is a nation so far down in the sewer of immorality and wickedness that nothing surprises me.” Barring a spiritual-cultural turnaround in the United States of America, where is all this leading? A barcode for every human on the planet? Since the coronavirus originated in China, and since Joe Biden is profoundly compromised with regard to China because of his family’s corrupt financial activities with that nation, and since Big Tech and so many U.S.-based mega-companies are in total thrall to China both for its vast retail markets and its cheap labor pool, it is reasonable to wonder: How exactly does China fit into the plan to “reset” the world under cover of COVID? That’s easy: China is the leader. Recently, in a chilling story headlined “Give Everyone a Barcode? China Trying to Use COVID Fears to Launch Global Tracking System for Humans,” the Christian Broadcast Network reported: “China's communist leader Xi Jinping is calling for countries across the world to accept a global COVID-19 tracking system that uses QR codes in an attempt to expedite international travel.” It was during a Nov. 21 virtual G20 leaders' meeting that Xi proposed the "global mechanism" to deploy an electronic barcode that would help determine travelers’ health status. "China has proposed a global mechanism on the mutual recognition of health certificates based on nucleic acid test results in the form of internationally accepted QR codes. We hope more countries will join this mechanism," Xi said, according to the CBN report, which explained: The system provides users with a color code based on their risk of exposure to the coronavirus and the QR codes, or bar codes can be read on mobile devices. A green code indicates that someone is safe to travel, while an orange or red code signifies the need to quarantine for up to two weeks. Xi didn't elaborate on the type of app or QR code system that would be used and who would design it. Not everyone is thrilled with a brutal communist dictator, one openly bent on ruling the entire planet, launching such a new surveillance and people control system. As CBN reported, Human Rights Watch executive director Kenneth Roth tweeted, “Beware of the Chinese government's proposal for a global QR code system. An initial focus on health could easily become a Trojan Horse for broader political monitoring and exclusion, akin to the dangers associated with China's social-credit system." And according to some Christians, the report concluded, such technology-driven measures and tracking systems look a lot like “another step toward the fulfillment of the End Times ‘Mark of the Beast’ prophesied 2,000 years ago in the biblical book of Revelation.” Revelation 13:16-17 famously warns: "It also forced all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads, so that they could not buy or sell unless they had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of its name." Conclusion Is “The Great Reset” inevitable? Not in America – unless 74 million American adults who voted for Donald Trump throw up their hands and resign themselves to a rapid decline and ultimate loss of the nation they labored to build, and in many cases fought and bled to defend. America is still home to tens of millions of praying, Bible-believing, freedom-loving, right-thinking Americans. Rage and violence are not the answer, but boldly – as happy warriors – standing up for truth and for the nation that has blessed us all is now the order of the day, and will remain so for a long time to come. America indeed needs a great reset, but not one envisioned by deluded, power-obsessed, sociopathic elites. Rather, the reset we truly need is a repentance-fueled revival that will invite God’s renewed blessing on us and restore our nation to its former greatness and goodness. As for the angel of the covenant that you desire, he is already coming.” Malachi 3:1 (The Israel BibleTM) WE ARE WITNESSING GOD’S FINAL BATTLE AGAINST EVIL For those struggling to find spiritual meaning in the turmoil through which we are living, the recent words of Rabbi Alon Anava, speaking from the holy city of Tzfat in northern Israel, are intended to bring clarity. “You can clearly see that the force of evil and darkness is trying to annihilate the force of good,” he stated. “The reality is that we are facing annihilation any way you look at it.” Anava advised his listeners not to be stressed, depressed or lose hope because, “at the end of the day, it’s all the orchestra of the Kadosh Baruch Hu (the Holy One, Blessed is He). The Master of the Universe is preparing it all.” He emphasized that worry is a waste of time, since this is all part of God’s final battle against evil. Much like a seed disintegrates in the ground or an old building must be demolished before a new building can be constructed, Anava reminded his listeners that, “In order to move into a new beginning, the old reality has to be destroyed. [There] has to be a destruction. We’re just asking that the destruction not be so big.” ONE WORLD GOVERNMENT Turning his attention to the plan for a one world government, which he says is a plot of those on the side of evil, Anava suggested that they are, ironically, actually preparing for the universal rule of the Messiah. “How can Moshiach (Messiah) control if there’s going to be governments? So they are actually doing the job for Moshiach. “Either way, we aren’t going to have any governments anymore. There’s going to be a King [for] the entire world and all the Nations will have to bow down to this same King. There’s going to be one King and one government. “Moshiach is for the rest of the world. It’s not just for Jews. That’s a misconception. Moshiach is for the entire world. He’s going to be the King of the world. “What we see in front of our eyes is Hashem (God) doing it in His kind way. It looks like darkness is becoming stronger [but in reality] it’s darkness diminishing. The evil is diminishing.” FEELINGS OF LOSS OF CONTROL ARE NORMAL While reminding his listeners that there is more destruction coming, to make way for the messianic era, he also reminds people not to stress over their feelings of loss of control. “You know what a lot of people stress over? That they don’t have any control. Don’t worry. You’re going to lose even more control. The point is that Hashem is trying to bring you to a situation that exactly what our Sages said 2,500 years ago, ‘We have nobody to count on but the Master of the Universe!’ “Hashem is breaking our reality [so we realize that we] have zero control. You can’t count on your livelihood, you can’t count on the government, you can’t count on the police. You can’t count on anyone. You can only count on the Master of the Universe. “So Hashem is breaking the rules of the universe so you will humble yourself, then you will understand it’s all in the Hands of the Kadosh Baruch Hu.” PRAYER IS THE ANSWER Once someone accepts that we have no control and that God is running the entire show in order to prepare for the end of days, what is left for us to do? Anava offered this advice: “Pray. Pray to the Kadosh Baruch Hu. We pray to sweeten the judgement. “There is no place to fall into sadness and despair because either way you’re looking at it, you have zero control. Better to humble yourself in front of the Master of the Universe. Hashem runs the show. You have nothing to be afraid of. “The Yetzer Hara (evil inclination), the descendants of Aisav (Esau), Amalek, the evil forces, call it however you want. Their agenda is to make you under stress and fear, because when you are in fear, you can be easily controlled.” Anava quotes the 14th century Jewish sage Rabbeinu Behaye, “If you’re afraid of the One, you don’t need to be afraid of anything. If you’re not afraid of the One, the Master of the Universe, you’ll be afraid of everything that moves.” While emphasizing the importance of accepting that we don’t have control, that God runs the world and that prayer is our only hope for sweetening the judgement, Anava is careful not to promise that redemption will come smoothly “with a lot of confetti in the air. The redemption is not coming like that. It’s going to come with a show and a half. The production that we’re about to see is way bigger than you can imagine. It’s better to prepare now so you’re not going to lose your mind when you see it. “Finally, after 3,000 years, the Master of the Universe is going to show His face in the world. This time, it’s going to be the Big Show. Fasten your seat belts and get ready. The only way to get ready is if you connect yourself to the Master of the Universe and you fear Him.” He urged people not to discount the power of prayer. Study the Hebrew Scriptures. Read Tehillim (Psalms). “People ask, ‘What can we do to stop this madness?’ Nothing. You can’t. Leave it to the Master of the Universe. It’s His show. Sit back. Relax. Focus on acts of kindness. Focus on elevating yourself and refining yourself. Don’t fall into sadness, depression, arguments, disagreements. See the reality in front of your face. You can’t do [anything]. You can pray to the Master of the Universe. Non-Jews also have to pray to the Master of the Universe, not to false idols,” he asserted. Anava concluded by reminding his listeners that prayer is not only asking God for something. It’s also expressing praise and gratitude to God. It was real, visceral. You could feel it and taste it. The world shifted toward the reign of antichrist and the terrors of tribulation. The signs of our times point to a brief reign for the antichrist, then an eternal reign for the Lord of Lords and King of Kings. Even those who will be raptured will experience increased difficulties before it happens. In this midst of fearful times, never forget what Jesus said in Matthew 28:20. “Lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” So, as we look at the darkness of the times, don’t forget to keep your eyes on the Light of the world. A terrible despair has fallen over much of planet earth. During October of 2020, there were 2,153 suicides in Japan. That resulted in more deaths in one month than all the Japanese who had died of Covid from February through October. Even before Covid, there had been a worldwide increase in suicides, especially among industrialized nations. Those numbers exploded in 2020, and they are the tip of the iceberg. Billions of people are now living in quiet despondency. One reason is financial hopelessness. Imagine spending most of your life building a business only to see that business fold because of government restrictions. It’s depressing to say the least. If you are employed by a business that closed, you also understand economic despair. We will not have official figures for a long time, but a study by Yelp found that over 160,000 businesses closed between April and September of 2020. And after September, things got worse. Covid restrictions have been highly profitable for online retailers. Scott Kelliher, Head of Brand Ads & Partnerships at eBay said, “We saw that consumers immediately shifted their online buying habits with roughly 75% of our consumers at eBay buying more items online.” Perhaps more significantly, he said, “Almost 85% of them plan to keep this new higher level of e-commerce… for the foreseeable future.” That shift coincides with the globalization of commerce and the move away from cash. Prophecy teachers have been predicting a cashless society for years. Still, most of us did not expect it to be caused, in part, by people afraid they will catch a disease from their money. A November article in “Money Under 30” said, “There are forces at play that may ultimately result in a cashless society” — something the article seemed eager for. The pandemic hurt education in major and probably lasting ways. Across the world, it increased people’s dependence on government for the sustenance of life. It gave us our first glimpse in a long time of killing off the elderly in favor of the young and pliable. It destabilized the global economy in ways that can easily lead to global government and totalitarian rule. In 2020 we saw more clearly than ever the end of journalism and the beginning of a new era of propaganda. It was a rough year. Jesus warned that just before His return, the world would go through birth pangs like a woman in labor. After a heavy contraction, the woman in labor gets a reprieve. 2021 may be such a reprieve. I don’t know. But I do know that contractions tend to get stronger and come closer together — while the reprieves grow shorter. But don’t despair. Look up! Even in times of confusion on earth, God remains sovereign. Daily Devotion: Threats to your religious freedom - Part 1 – Bill Wilson – www.dailyjot.com While there will be many stories, counter-stories, conspiracy theories and lies told in the next few days, no matter what happens with the electoral college, there are certain threats to your freedom that will remain both domestic and foreign. Here in the United States, the constant drone of anti-Christian rhetoric by Democratic Party leaders, including the deconstruction of familial terms and class warfare already documented in the House Committee on Rules. Led by Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), the Democrats are introducing new “visionary rules” that reflect the “views and values” of the Democratic majority and priorities as “a Country.” This presumption is only part of what will limit your freedom. In a news release, Pelosi outlines all the rules changes for the House of Representatives. Among them are to “require standing committees to include in their oversight plans a discussion of how committee work over the forthcoming Congress will address issues of inequities on the basis of race, color, ethnicity, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, age, or national origin; honor all gender identities by changing pronouns and familial relationships in the House rules to be gender neutral.” This means that all biblical familial names will be deconstructed by the House across all committees and House hearings. It is an excellent example of how communism calls for the abolishment of the family. The rule states that the words to be done away with are: “father, mother, son, daughter, brother, sister, uncle, aunt, first cousin, nephew, niece, husband, wife, father-in-law, mother-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in- law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, stepfather, step-mother, stepson, stepdaughter, stepbrother, step-sister, half brother, half sister, grandson, or grand-daughter.” Words to be used instead are: “parent, child, sibling, parent’s sibling, first cousin, sibling’s child, spouse, parent-in-law, child-in-law, sibling-in-law, stepparent, step-child, stepsibling, half-sibling, or grandchild.” This level of “wokeness” by Congress may seem to some a proper progressive adjustment, but take heed that this is just another step toward limiting your religious freedom. The Holy Scriptures show us that the Lord holds family and family order in high esteem. He is not gender-neutral in describing the functions of family and relationships between family members. The words Husband and Wife are often used, as are Son and Daughter. Ephesians 6:2-3 says, “Honor your father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise: that it may be well with you and you may live long on the earth.” Doing away with these terms are teeth in a gearbox to deconstruct the core strength of this nation—the family—and create an atmosphere where those who cling to biblical terms and beliefs are ostracized, further restricting religious freedom by virtue of social pressure, soft tyranny. Interestingly, a local zoo owner who came to pick up the snake told a reporter that it had been stalking the dog for days. “The family that owned the dog had actually seen it in the dog’s bed,” he said, “which was a sign it was out to get it.” That would have been the first clue: “Wow, look at that large python in our dog’s bed! This could pose a problem down the road.” However, we can be the same way with the Devil. He will essentially plop himself into our beds, so to speak, and we pay no attention to him. We think, “Oh, he won’t be back. I can handle this.” We underestimate his power and allow our minds to be open to things that actually can hurt us. The Bible tells us, “Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect” (Romans 12:2 NLT). In other words, we need a good brainwashing. I’m not speaking of the traditional meaning of the word where we’re not able to think for ourselves. Rather, I’m talking about cleaning out all the junk that fills our minds and then replacing it with godly information. The Apostle Paul wrote to Christians in Philippi, “And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise” (Philippians 4:8 NLT). We need to guard our minds. What are you filling your mind with today?
