Loosening Grip? - By Terry James - https://www.raptureready.com/2021/01/13/loosening-grip-by-terry-james/
Many are angered, frustrated and greatly disheartened by results of presidential election 2020. My own emotion fits somewhere within that description. Chief among the various disconcerting aspects of the angst we who support a morally based, constitutional republic that the founders gave us is that we are made to look like the progenitors of evil who are inflicting damage to the nation. It is a master stroke by the master of all evil orchestration—Lucifer the fallen one. I’m referring to the fact that all the blame has been placed upon the many thousands of Trump supporters who gathered to protest peacefully. All was, in my opinion, then manipulated to be seen as interrupting congressional proceedings to count votes and to consider recounts. It was a luciferic plan implemented to perfection in my view. The prophetic implications are profound, I believe. I will say, in advance, that I am including personal experience in this commentary. That is, I will include personal experience that I realize many will reject as weirdly ecstatic in nature and extrabiblical. Nonetheless, this is what I believe I’ve been given to write at this moment. Therefore, I will risk the naysayers and ultra-discernment authority critics. More about this a bit later. Everything seemed to change when the election results began to come in during the early morning hours of November 4, 2020. The Trump landslide that was underway suddenly gave way to a tsunami or avalanche of votes for the other candidate. This strange turn of events remains—to those who don’t understand truth—a mysterious thing to this day. The mystery is exacerbated by the fact that nobody in government with authority to examine fraudulent election manipulations will allow the overly apparent irregularities to come under the light of inspection. But in reality things didn’t change. The scriptural truth from God’s Word remains in play to this moment. He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. (Revelation 22:11) This truth will be in play, we are shown through the book of Revelation, right up to the moment Christ returns in power and great glory. That is because, of course, the fallen nature of mankind has not changed. Sin dominates, and those in whom it dwells wield earthly power under the leadership of the prince of the power of the air—Lucifer. Those producing America’s 2020 presidential election fraud, rather than desist in their rage to—for the most part unwittingly—bring Antichrist to power, forge ahead toward the end of the age with their deception and subterfuge. So what about the Lord in all this destructive change being perpetrated? Where is He in light of the millions of prayers pleading that He miraculously intervene in the 2020 election like we believe he did in the 2016 presidential election? Why is He now permitting this destructiveness? It certainly appears God is, as my title implies, loosening His grip. By that, of course, I mean that, to some, God seems to be no longer restraining evil and the rush toward globalist takeover to the same degree as He has up to this point. Yet He cannot lie, and His prophetic Word says the following, as we’ve looked at many times. And now ye know what [restrains]that he might be revealed in his time. For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now [restrains] will [restrain], until he be taken out of the way. And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.” (2 Thessalonians 2:6–10) The promise from the Lord is that He will, through the Holy Spirit indwelling the church (each believer in Christ for salvation) restrain the evil we see rampant all around us at this moment. So even though He might seemed to have loosened His grip a bit, allowing evil to have more leash, He is still restraining the Beast of Revelation chapter 13 from coming forth. He will do so until you and I as believers are removed in the Rapture. Now to get to the part in this commentary of the personal, ecstatic experience of which I forewarned. Most who read these articles have heard of this a number of times. While I don’t deliberately look for reasons and/or situations in which to bring it up, it has once again come to mind in a quite direct impression. I am to use it here is what I believe is the directive. While doing what many of you are doing—thinking on what has just happened in this election—I was questioning, in prayerful attitude. Why weren’t the millions of earnest prayers answered as I thought they should be answered? Why are things suddenly reversed from the way they had begun turning after the 2016 election? From out of that fog of questioning emerged the one scene most powerfully available to replay upon the screen of my memory. And it was in brilliant, dynamic color and electric with energy! It was during the three times I was somewhere in the heavenly realm on Good Friday, April 22, 2011. I flatlined four times, the hospital records show. But three of those times when my heart stopped due to the widow-maker heart attack, I stood before a cheering throng of beautiful, shimmering, young people who looked to be in their middle twenties. They were bidding me to come to them. The third time I went there, I was among them and we were all running toward something wonderful. It was a victory lap, with all the young people thrusting their hands high into the heavenly atmosphere. I was shown over the months following that these were the cloud of witnesses of Hebrews 12:1–3. We were finishing that great race assigned to each believer. We would soon be before the throne of God. But they hit me with the defib paddles yet again. I was back on the cath-lab table, and I, many of the doctors believe, was the beneficiary of a medical miracle—so much so that they gave me my state’s “Cardiologist Patient of the Year” award. So it was that, when thinking deeply on why things had turned so dramatically on the early morning of November 4, the powerful, cerebral video instantly replayed. The young people again were leaping with their hands thrust high. They were laughing and expressing their explosive exuberance as only the youthful can. This, I’ve been impressed many times, was and is Heaven’s approval. It is approval of the pre-Trib view of the Rapture of the Church, which I and many believers champion. It is approval of all who believe, teach, and cling fervently to that blessed hope of Titus 2:13. The replay of that, my one and only ecstatic experience, came instantly to mind, I’m convinced, to make clear the reason these things must happen as they are unfolding. Jesus Christ is on the very cusp of calling all believers to Himself before the Heavenly Father loosens His grip of restraint on this judgment-deserving world. Meantime, we are to be witnessing and working as royal ambassadors for the King of all kings and Lord of all lords, all the while watching, as given in Mark 13:37. For when you see all these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your head, for your redemption draws near. (Luke 21:28) Israel determined to prevent Iran from achieving ‘Syria Project’ – Yaakov Lappin – https://www.jns.org/israel-determined-to-prevent-iran-from-achieving-syria-project/ Israel has struck thousands of Iranian targets in Syria in past years to prevent the rise of an Iranian war machine on its border, yet the latest reported attacks in eastern Syria still appear unusual for a number of reasons. Media reports carried news of intensive airstrikes against Iranian-linked targets in eastern Syria early on Wednesday, attributed to the Israeli Air Force. The alleged strikes in the Deir al-Zour and Albu Kamal areas were the latest in a long series of reported Israeli attacks that are designed to thwart the Islamic Republic’s attempts at building a war machine in Syria. The airstrikes nevertheless stood out in light of the extraordinary comments made by a senior American intelligence official, who told the Associated Press that the bombings were enabled by intelligence provided to Israel by the United States. There appears to be no reason to doubt this version of events, marking what would seem to be an unusual acknowledgment of the close level of cooperation between the American and Israeli defense establishments in combating the Iranian presence in Syria. Strikingly, the same official said that the targeted warehouses also served as a “pipeline for components that support Iran’s nuclear program,” though no further details were immediately available. A second reason that makes the strikes stand out is the unconfirmed report by a Syrian opposition war-monitoring group that at least 57 fighters were killed, including 14 Syrian regime soldiers, in addition to Iranian-backed militia members, as well as dozens more wounded. Although uncorroborated, the claim represents a far higher casualty count than those that usually follow such strikes. The attack is part of an unmistakable increase in airstrikes that have been hitting Iranian targets across Syria, marking the fourth known such incident in the past three weeks. Those incidents include a reported missile attack on Syria’s Scientific Studies and Research Center, also known by its French acronym CERS, north of Damascus. CERS is a facility that is responsible for developing and manufacturing advanced missiles and chemical weapons, and is likely used by both Iran and Syria’s Bashar Assad regime to develop and produce weapons systems, some of which is also destined for Hezbollah’s missile depots in Lebanon. CERS was also bombed in 2018 and 2019. The area surrounding CERS doubles up as a base for Iranian personnel and Iran-controlled militias in Syria. The other recent attacks have hit reported weapons-production facilities and military bases in southern and western Syria. In attempting to understand why the uptick in alleged preventative Israeli attacks has occurred now, Israel’s former ambassador to the United Nations Danny Danon offered this explanation: “Iran is attempting to take advantage of the transition in the United States and in Israel to alter the balance of power. Israel and the U.S. will not allow this. We will act resolutely and as needed.” According to this explanation, Iran is trying to exploit political instability in Israel, which is on its way to its fourth elections in less than two years. That is coupled with the fact that the Trump administration is about to be replaced by the Biden administration, all while Tehran attempts to scale up its efforts to build a military foothold in Syria. Ebb and flow of Tehran’s efforts over the years It is also important to place the latest incidents in the wider context: Israel has struck thousands of Iranian targets in Syria in recent years, according to comments made in 2019 by former Israel Defense Forces Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Gadi Eizenkot. The centerpiece of Eizenkot’s legacy is a low-profile, yet highly effective, campaign of preventative airstrikes to severely dent Iran’s “Syria project” and to roll back Tehran’s attempt to turn Syria into an extension of the attack front that it built in Lebanon, where Iran has helped Hezbollah take hold of some 130,000 rockets and missiles, and point them at Israeli cities and strategic targets. In its annual summary for 2020, the IDF stated that “approximately 50 targets were struck on the Syrian front” in the past year, as well as more than 1,400 battle-formation Israeli Air Force sorties over unspecified areas. These figures reveal a central feature of Israel’s campaign in Syria: It is fueled by the intelligence of Iran’s activities, and the increase and decrease of Israel’s campaign is a direct reflection of the ebb and flow of Iran’s own efforts over the years. The campaign against Iran in Syria has been raging for several years, and often, it is the same sites that are hit over and over again. For example, in March 2020, reports said that unidentified aircraft struck a target in Albu Kamal, the town on the border with Iraq, where Iran had been constructing its Imam Ali military base for the deployment and storage of missiles and fighters. A total of 26 fighters were allegedly killed in that attack. The Iranians had apparently been building a tunnel for hiding weapons at the Imam Ali Base, which replaced an older tunnel also attacked in the past. In June 2020, reports also said that 12 people were killed in an airstrike on an Iran-linked target in Deir Ezzor in eastern Syria, which sits five kilometers (about 3 miles) from the Iraqi border. Deir Ezzor and Albu Kamal are areas that are earmarked by Iran for the construction of a land corridor that would allow Tehran to move weapons, battle formations, and other resources into Syria from Iraq. If the corridor is completed, Iran would have land access all the way to the Mediterranean Sea, connecting Iran, Iraq, Syria and Lebanon along a single network of roads. Israel has no intention of letting that happen, just as it did not allow Iran to fly cargo planes of advanced missiles into Damascus airport with impunity. Military tensions high between U.S. forces, Iran in Gulf Iran’s efforts are being masterminded by its overseas subversion and terrorism unit, the Quds Force, headed by Esmail Ghaani, who replaced the infamous Maj. Gen. Qassem Soleimani after his assassination in Baghdad in January 2020 in a U.S. drone strike. Ghaani appears to be working hard to try and fill Soleimani’s shoes, though with little apparent success to show for it so far. Soleimani’s grand vision was to create air smuggling routes, a land corridor, and naval smuggling routes to flood Syria and Lebanon with precision-guided weapons, bases, missile factories, and militias, and Israel kept that vision firmly in check, just as it is doing with Ghaani’s efforts. Russia, for its part, has no interest in allowing Iran to take over Syria, having earmarked the country for its own long-term military presence and economic reconstruction programs. Still, Moscow is also keen to avoid witnessing an escalation that can threaten the Assad regime, which it spent years protecting from demise together with Iran. Meanwhile, the atmosphere in the region is particularly explosive and unstable, due to Iran’s determination to seek vengeance for the killing of its chief nuclear-weapons scientists, Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, whom Iran blames Israel for assassinating in November, as well as Hezbollah’s own repeated threats to take revenge for the death of one of its operatives, who was killed in an airstrike on an Iranian target in Syria in July. Military tensions between U.S. forces in the Persian Gulf and Iran also remain high with the possibility of miscalculation is very real. None of these factors, however, are sufficient to deter Israel from enforcing its red lines in Syria and doing whatever is necessary to keep Iran from fulfilling its dangerous “Syria project.” What Now, America? - By Hal Lindsey - https://www.hallindsey.com/ww-1-13-2021/ Most American evangelicals supported Donald Trump throughout his presidency. They didn’t always like his rhetoric, boastfulness, or occasional vindictiveness. In fact, they didn’t always like him. But they liked what he did. They liked how he treated Israel and the amazing results of his policies in the Middle East. They liked that he lowered taxes, removed absurd federal regulations, and they liked the economic growth that came because of those things. They liked how the President strengthened the military and worked toward fair trade agreements. They were happy to bring Americans home from unending wars. Most of all, they liked the idea that the most powerful person in the world seemed completely committed to protecting their rights, and the rights of all Americans. Today, a small group of people would like to goad Trump-supporters (evangelical or not) into acts of actual insurrection. They want weapons fired and blood in the streets. They want excuses to crush conservatives — especially conservative Christians. As I write, state capitals across the nation are beefing up security. The FBI and others say they have evidence that armed protestors are planning to march on major government buildings across America. Officials are concerned about protests turning violent before, during, and after the inauguration. Protests are an American right. But violent protests are not. Violent protests are neither American nor Christian. Americans love revolutions, and we have them regularly. We call them “elections.” Sometimes, cheating occurs during those elections. If you share that concern with me, then work to change the process. Work to bring transparency and fairness back into the system. But use your voice and your vote, not your gun. There are people out there who want to provoke Trump-supporters, especially Christians, into showing themselves violent and dangerous. Don’t fall for it. Don’t let your friends or family fall for it. Instead, look to the Bible. Romans 13:1 says we are “to be in subjection to the governing authorities.” Nero was the chief governing authority at the time that scripture was written. He was a horrible man. He persecuted Christians, blamed them for the burning of Rome, and used burning Christians attached to poles to light his garden. Yet the inspired word of God told Christians to be subject to him. The reason becomes obvious when you read Daniel 2:21. It is God who “removes kings and establishes kings.” 1 Peter 2:13-15 and 17 was also written during the reign of Nero. Those verses say, “Submit yourselves for the Lord’s sake to every human institution, whether to a king as the one in authority, or to governors as sent by him for the punishment of evildoers and the praise of those who do right. For such is the will of God that by doing right you may silence the ignorance of foolish men…. Honor all people, love the brotherhood, fear God, honor the king.” There is one crucial exception to our subjection to governing authorities. In Acts 5, Jewish authorities ordered the apostles to stop preaching and teaching about Jesus. In verse 29, the followers of Jesus answered, “We must obey God rather than men.” But even as they obeyed God rather than men, they remained respectful of the governing authorities. Acts says that they did not resist when arrested and taken to court. At the end of the hearing, they were unfairly flogged. Did they plot revenge for such flogging? Did they organize an insurrection? Did they take up arms? No. Verse 41 says, “They went on their way… rejoicing that they had been considered worthy to suffer shame for His name.” Trust in the Lord - Nathele Graham - [email protected] “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him and he shall direct thy paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6. David wrote many psalms, and each one shows that he depended upon God. When he faced trouble and persecution, his faith would not be weakened. We need to learn from his faith. “ In the LORD I put my trust: how say ye to my soul, Flee as a bird to your mountain?” Psalm 11:1. This Psalm begins with a statement that every Christian needs to take to heart. Put your trust in God. Life throws out many problems, and situations can scare us, but if we put our trust in the Lord, we will have a foundation for making correct decisions. David was being persecuted and his friends advised him to run for the hills. David trusted the Lord, so running away wasn’t an option. Persecution always separates the strong from the weak, and David was strong because his strength was in the Lord. “The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.” Psalm 18:2. Is God your strength? Do you trust Him, or have you put your faith in human understanding? Draw your strength from God. He will never fail. David would not be swayed from his faith in God, and he refused to run and hide. Stand strong, brothers and sisters. Our strength is in Jesus Christ, not in this evil world. “For, lo, the wicked bend their bow, they make ready their arrow upon the string, that they may privily shoot at the upright in heart.” Psalm 11:2. There were wicked people in David’s time, just as there are wicked people today. Need I name names? Satan has always given ammunition to people who are willing to work his will. He gives them fiery darts to fling at us, and his weapons will increase in size and power as his evil is allowed to control people. Satan’s arrows are propelled by people who act as his bow…by those who have rejected God’s truth for Satan’s lies. His favorite targets are Christians. His goal is to destroy our faith. God has given Christians weapons and we need to stand and fight. “Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.” Ephesians 6:16. Will you allow Satan’s fiery darts to cause you to run and take shelter in enemy territory? If your faith is in the Lord, then you have a shield of protection. Study God’s word and apply it to your life. In that way you’ll learn to depend upon the shield of faith. Study prophecy and you’ll understand what’s happening today and will make decisions based upon your faith instead of irrationally following Satanic lies. “If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?” Psalm 11:3. Foundations are extremely important to the support of a building. If the foundation cracks, then the building will begin to sag and fall. The liberal masses, led by Satan, are attempting to destroy the foundations of God’s truth. They undermine Biblical authority by mocking God’s covenant of marriage, by forcing the lie of evolution to be taught in schools, and they’re hacking away at the foundations of America by ignoring our Constitution. God will not hold back His wrath forever. “For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;” Romans 1:18. God will pour out His wrath on all who have rejected and mock Jesus Christ as they promote sin and unrighteousness. Christians have given in and believed the lies of the secular world and the foundations of morality have disintegrated. Truth has morphed into a lie. “Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, and change the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.” Romans 1:22-23. Because Christians have allowed the foundations of truth to be corrupted, God has allowed evil to grow strong. That evil is manifest in sin. “Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:” Romans 1:24. Marriage between a man and a woman is a sacred covenant…a basic foundation of humanity. The liberals have destroyed the foundation of marriage and bring Scripture into question. God says not to kill, but abortion kills babies. Those little bodies are used to make vaccines which we allow to be shot into our own bodies and the result is disaster. Health problems, such as ADHD, food allergies, autism, and other major illness is the result. What can the righteous do? We can keep our faith strong and not be swayed by Satan’s fiery darts. God’s truth is the only truth. Stand on His word. “The LORD is in his holy temple, the LORD’S throne is in heaven: his eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men.” Psalm 11:4. The Lord is on his throne and we get a peek at that throne in Isaiah chapter 6 and Revelation chapters 4 and 5. Both Isaiah and John saw incredible sights in Heaven. Living creatures surround the throne which praised Him day and night. What a glorious sight to see. Christians will see that sight. What John saw was after the Rapture and there were 24 elders before the throne, which weren’t there when Isaiah had his experience. “And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold.” Revelation 4:4. The elders represent Christians. I look forward to the day when I’m before that throne praising my Lord and Saviour. The glory and splendor described there is what Jesus left in order to come to Earth to purchase our redemption. When He gave His life for me, He put His own blood in the holy temple that’s also in Heaven. “For it the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?’ Hebrews 9:13-14. When things get frightening and Satan seems to be winning the battle, remember God is on His throne, and His eyes see everything and will judge the wicked. Be sure you’ve accepted His sacrifice before you stand before Him. You want the righteousness of Jesus Christ to cover you. “The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.” Psalm 11:5. David was known as a man after God’s heart. That doesn’t mean he never sinned, but it does mean that he was repentant over his sins. He had his share of testing and trying, but everyone is tested at times. Our attitude in those trials can make us stronger or cause us to grow weak in our faith. God doesn’t ignore the plight of those of us who walk in His ways, but is always with us. On the other hand, the wicked will be made to pay for their wickedness. They have the chance to repent of their sin and accept Jesus for salvation, but they need to let go of their hatred, sin, and wickedness. There’s only one way to be forgiven of sin and find salvation. “I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.” Luke 13:5. No matter how wicked you’ve been, forgiveness is waiting for you if you repent and ask to be forgiven. Only Jesus can forgive your sin. Turn to Him and turn away from wickedness. “Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and an horrible tempest: this shall be the portion of their cup.” Psalm 11:6. So often it seems as if wicked people who are ruled by Satan are winning. They hold high political offices and seem to have everything money can buy. Very soon the wicked will be judged. Fire and brimstone will just be a portion of what will be rained upon the earth and upon everyone who has rejected Christ. God’s wrath will be poured out upon all who have followed Satan. Prior to the Tribulation, Christians will be Raptured. While we are around God’s throne, all Hell will be happening on earth. This is a blessing for Christians, but God doesn’t want anyone to face those final seven years. God wants us to witness to the lost now. It’s our commission, directly given by Jesus, to spread the Gospel. “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” Mark 16:15. Wicked people can turn to Jesus for salvation, but they have to hear the Gospel. Brothers and sisters, spread the Gospel. “For the righteous LORD loveth righteousness; and his countenance doth behold the upright.” Psalm 11:7. This fact guided David. He knew that God saw his actions and he desired to please His Lord. When he stumbled, he went to the Lord and asked forgiveness. As Christians, we need to guard our ways. Our righteousness is only through Jesus Christ. “For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” 2 Corinthians 5:21. Without Him we are as wicked as the worst sinner you can think of. If you’ve accepted Christ, His righteousness has been imparted to you. Out of gratitude you need to serve Him; out of gratitude you need to share the Gospel. We must remember that the enemy we fight isn’t people. The enemy is Satan and his minions. “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” Ephesians 6:12. Study the verses which follow and understand the spiritual weapons which God has given us. Put on God’s armor and do not take it off. As Christians, we know the supernatural world is very real. We serve God and know that He is supernatural and completely good, but Scripture tells us of the dark side of the supernatural world where demonic entities dwell. If allowed, they influence people to do wickedness, just as the Holy Spirit will influence people to do God’s will. As Christians, our fight is against satanic powers and our battle is lost if we fight without the power of the Holy Spirit. Don’t flee as a bird from the fight, but put your trust in the Lord. The world is falling apart. America has been dealt a hard blow from Satan. Those who serve Satan tolerate everything except God’s truth. Christian values are being sorely tested and our faith is being challenged. Study Scripture, including prophecy. Satan has taken control of the weak minded and he will continue to attack the righteous. David would not be swayed from his conviction that the Lord was where he placed his trust. Our strength is in Jesus Christ, not in this evil world. Daily Jot: Redefining insurrection with a warning – Bill Wilson – www.dailyjot.com The House of Representatives voted to impeach the President. This time for “high crimes and misdemeanors” and stating that the 14thAmendment prohibits a person from holding office who has “engaged in insurrection or rebellion against” the US. The Articles of impeachment further outlined that the President “engaged in high crimes and misdemeanors by inciting violence against the Government of the United States.” It can be debated whether the President incited violence. Those on the President’s side, who know the meaning of words, can legitimately say he did not incite violence and the handful who did the violence made their own decisions. Those opposing him argue his remarks were a dog whistle. The political party in control of the House is trying to ensure that Donald Trump never runs for or holds office again. The words insurrection and rebellion do not describe what occurred on January 6. Insurrection is defined as: an act or instance of revolting against civil authority or an established government. Rebellion is defined as: open, armed, and usually unsuccessful defiance of or resistance to an established government. A handful of people, unarmed, is hardly an insurrection or rebellion. But the victor writes the history and solidifies the narrative. Conservatism and Trump will long carry the black mark from this unpeaceful assembly and lawless act by a small group of undiscerning rioters—no matter the facts on who instigated, facilitated or directed it. This is insurrection and rebellion redefined as a grave warning. Consider the past five years of facts that don’t seem to matter. The Democratic Party and its leadership paid for a false dossier on Donald Trump; used it to get a warrant to spy on his campaign; conducted a highly visible and media-charged investigation on Russian collusion that found nothing; put people associated with Trump in jail; repeated the investigative narrative about a non-existent quid pro quo call with the Ukrainian President; impeached Trump on baseless charges resulting from the aforementioned; relentlessly pursued disrupting and obstructing most everything of his administration’s actions; and somehow won an election amid a mountain of election fraud evidence that was systematically suppressed by the mainstream media. Does any of this sound like insurrection? The impeachment is perhaps symbolic of socialist regimes. When socialist regimes take over a country, they usually have kangaroo tribunals resulting in execution of the opposition. With this impeachment, the President was politically executed. It also sends a strong message to all that those in power are politically intolerant of those who dissent or disagree, already evidenced by the coordinated censorship and cancelling of diverse opinion. On one hand, they call for healing. On the other, some 74 million citizens are held in contempt because of their support for Trump. Don’t believe me? Read what they are saying. I wish it wasn’t true. It’s not fair. It’s not American. Proverbs 29:2 says, “When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked bear rule, the people mourn.” Lord, show us your way. Daily Devotion: A Dangerous Denial - by Greg Laurie – www.harvest.org Most importantly, I want to remind you that in the last days scoffers will come, mocking the truth and following their own desires. —2 Peter 3:3 https://harvest.org/resources/devotion/a-dangerous-denial/ - Listen I think it’s a very dangerous thing when you arrive at a theology that tells you Jesus Christ isn’t coming back. There are different views on this topic, but if your so-called theology says to you that Christ is not returning at any moment, then something is wrong with your theology. Jesus warned, “But if that servant says in his heart, ‘My master is delaying his coming,’ and begins to beat the male and female servants, and to eat and drink and be drunk, the master of that servant will come on a day when he is not looking for him” (Luke 12:45–46 NKJV). In contrast to the believer who is watching and working, Jesus was describing an unprepared servant. To me this is probably a description of someone who thinks he or she is a believer but isn’t. Jesus also could be referring to a disobedient believer. Either way, this is someone who isn’t right with God. Not only should we be anxiously waiting for the Lord’s return, but we also should be working. Jesus said, “Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his master will make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of food in due season? Blessed is that servant whom his master will find so doing when he comes” (Luke 12:42–43 NKJV). The word Jesus used for blessed also could be translated as happy. In other words, if you live this way, if you live in constant anticipation of the imminent return of Christ, then you will be a happy person. It’s not a miserable, repressive, or confining way to live as we look for Christ’s return. Really, it’s happy, it’s joyful, and it’s purposeful. It’s the way to live. Watching for the Lord’s return will help us prepare our own lives, but working will assure that we bring others with us. FROM THE HEART

If ever there was a time to invest in God's Kingdom, it's now! What on earth are you doing for Heaven's Sake? "Share in the Blessings and Rewards that will last Forever!" "Folks, it's all beginning to unravel. America is in more danger of falling than at any time in its history. But I believe Bible prophecy predicts this very decline. From this point on, we believers have to get serious. We are going to face discouragement, disillusionment and, most certainly, persecution in the time between now and the Rapture. But don't be discouraged or disillusioned. The coming turmoil will provide us unrivaled opportunities to share the good news of the Gospel. So be ready to share your faith and your hope with those who need Christ. We still have time to reap a great harvest of souls for God's kingdom!" - Hal Lindsey 1) We need your prayers!- We proclaim the Truth of the Word of God and we are under constant spiritual and sometimes even physical attack. 2) We need your encouragement!- We need to hear from you, let us know how the Lord is blessing you through this ministry so that we can share it with others. 3) We need your input! - If you have a prophetic article or story or if there is a news related item we missed, let us know. 4) We need your financial support!- To put it quite simply, without your support, there would be no Prophecy Update. Our Prayer for You- "Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. You will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God. This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of God's people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God. Because of the service by which you have proved yourselves, men will praise God for the obedience that accompanies your confession of the gospel of Christ, and for your generosity in sharing with them and with everyone else." 2 Corinthians 9:10-13 If you have been blessed by Prophecy Update and would like to help support this ministry financially.
