Payday Someday - By Alice Childs - http://www.raptureready.com/2018/01/10/judgement-day-payday-someday/ Judgement Day Like everyone who understands the lateness of the hour, and all of us who mourn the condition of our once beloved America, I pray every single day that all of the evil people in our corrupt government, media, entertainment industry, and education system will at last be exposed and removed from power and position. I pray especially that those in political positions who are guilty of treasonous offenses will be arrested, prosecuted, convicted, and jailed (even executed where warranted) for their crimes of treason; but I have serious doubts that they will be, at least in this lifetime. However, there is an appointed time when each and every one of these people will stand before the bar of justice facing the One who is JUSTICE incarnate. When that time comes, there will be NO place for them to run or hide, no political maneuvering that will save them, no media to lie or cover up their crimes or to shield them from their offenses being made known. There will be no shady deals made behind closed doors in secret chambers that will keep them from their appointed rendezvous before Almighty God. There will be no corrupt lawyers to circumvent or hide the truth, no more billionaire cabals with deep pockets to bribe wicked men and women to twist the truth or rewrite history to suit their agendas. There will be no one able to shield those who have no value for life, those whose only "god" is money, prestige, fame and power. One day, each one of these who currently wield the reins of power here in America and globally as well, will stand naked in spirit; each and every crime they have ever committed or abetted will be completely revealed, made known and exposed before the Judge of All the Earth. These elite power brokers, who now reign with impunity in insulated freedom in every facet of global power, may or may not receive justice long delayed in the here and now; but oh, one day they will. Many years ago, the great Southern Baptist preacher, R.G. Lee, gave his most famous sermon called "PAYDAY SOMEDAY." His text was from 1 Kings 21:18, 19 & 23. This most powerful sermon focused on the judgment of wicked King Ahab and his even more wicked wife, Queen Jezebel. I urge each of you to listen to this sermon, or at least read the text of it. It is one of the most powerful sermons ever given and is more apropos today than it was when it was first preached. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TNoMuCspTKE&t=3s You see, the point of this passage of scripture is that God KNOWS the depth and breadth of evil in any given era. It is HE who will be the final arbiter. HE will be the final dispenser of justice. HE will have the final say. It will be HE who will bring about the final payday for ALL of the wicked, reprobate rebels who scoff at God's grace and trample the mercy and pardon of salvation underfoot, trading their immortal souls for the steaming mess of corrupt, putrid porridge that is the power and prestige of this wicked, fallen world. There IS coming a "Payday Someday" for ALL these who have consciously and willingly shaken their fists in the face of God, for all who have sold out and brutalized their fellow human beings for their own greed, avarice, and thirst for power. There is a day of reckoning coming that will be swift, just, and eternal when the final sentence is passed. Of course, God is willing to save and pardon from sin ANY and ALL who are willing to repent - to acknowledge and confess their sinful state (Romans 3:22-24; Romans 10:9-10), all who choose to believe on Jesus Christ alone for their salvation (1 Corinthians 15:1-4; John 3:16-18); because the brutal truth is that we are ALL vile, guilty sinners, justly condemned, born under the curse and condemnation of sin (Romans 3:23; Romans 6:23; Romans 10:9-10). ALL of us are in need of a Savior. None of us are righteous, "no not one" (Romans 3:10). Hard as it is for us to fathom, God is willing to save even those as wicked as George Soros, the Obamas or the Clintons. "For God is not willing that any should perish (eternally) but that all should come to repentance" (2 Peter 3:8-10). That mercy is His heart and the very essence of His nature. Jesus, who is MERCY incarnate, wrapped Himself in human flesh and came to earth the only God/man-God in flesh who died in mankind's place to pay in full the price for the sins of the world so that the JUSTICE God demanded be satisfied. God is both able and willing to save from the "uttermost to the guttermost." However, God's mercy does not extend forever. His justice will be satisfied. But if one refuses MERCY at the foot of the cross, then one will surely face JUSTICE at the foot of the throne. There is a decision line for each person drawn in eternity that only God sees and knows. Should anyone choose to continue in their rebellion, continuing to refuse so great a salvation, then one day each one, who has chosen to continue in their sins by eschewing God's free pardon of grace, runs the risk of crossing God's final deadline for salvation and will be, from that point on, "given over" to the evil of their reprobate hearts (Romans 1:27-29). This is the sobering reality that we all face and why God repeatedly states that TODAY is the day of salvation (Hebrews 3:15; 2 Corinthians 6:2). Once "given over" these doomed persons will have sealed their eternal fate in Hell as surely as if they were already there. The reprobates, once "given over" to remain in their sinful state, will by their own choice continue on in their sins, growing more and more hardened of heart - more and more conscience-seared - more and more wicked and depraved (Revelation 22:11). As the Bible says in Hebrews 10:31, "It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God." There IS a day of reckoning coming, and all of Soros's billions, all of the Clinton's power plays; all the might of their evil dynasty, all of the Obama's smug machinations and blatant lies, all of those who openly revel in the murder and Satanic sacrifice of innocent babies on the altar of money and greed, all who flaunt their sinful sexual perversions openly and wantonly, all who force those perversions down the collective throats of our innocent young children in order to pervert them and kill their innocence... Unless they repent (acknowledge their sinful condition) and believe in Christ Jesus alone for salvation, ALL of these will stand without excuse and without hope when they appear soul-bared before the One who eyes are as a flame of fire - the holy One who is able to divide soul from spirit, the One whose eyes see all and know everything. Justice WILL be served. Justice IS COMING. There WILL be a PAYDAY SOMEDAY. Count on it. Flu, Plagues and the Times - J.L. Robb - http://www.omegaletter.com/articles/articles.asp?ArticleID=8572 So far, it has been a bad flu season in the United States and Canada; and the killer strain this year is the H3N2 virus. This strain is also killing people in Australia. Is this unusual? Not really. Flu is an every-year occurrence and kills an estimated 23,000 people per year in the U.S. if we go back as far as 1976 in figuring the average. However, if we go back only 10 years, to 2007, the annual average jumps to 32,000 deaths. The 2003-2004 flu season was more deadly with a toll of 48,000. That is a lot of death for a single country, and why is death increasing? According to Medical News Today, influenza is the 8th leading cause of death in the United States; and most cases occur in the winter, though the cause of this is unknown. It is highly contagious and is airborne. If you hear someone at the grocery store cough or sneeze, you may want to avoid that aisle for 30-minutes or so. However, one can contract the flu in other ways. Grab a door knob after someone with the flu goes out the door, and you will pick up a few flu germs. Flu is much more than a really bad cold and can be one of the world's deadliest diseases. Just last week, a mother of three, a runner of marathons, got H3N2 flu and was dead within 15-hours after going to the Emergency Room. SAN JOSE, California -- Katie Oxley Thomas just celebrated her 40th birthday a few weeks ago, but over the weekend nearly 500 people gathered to mourn her sudden death from the flu. Katie was the mother of children 17,15 and 8. The 8-year-old daughter hopes to someday hug her mom in Heaven. I hope so too. The Bible is full of plague, disease and pestilence used as judgements against mankind. In Revelation, it comes upon mankind through the fourth horse of the apocalypse and bowl judgments: I looked, and there before me was a pale horse! Its rider was named Death, and Hades was following close behind him. They were given power over a fourth of the earth to kill by sword, famine and plague, and by the wild beasts of the earth. Revelation 6:8 NIV When the angels are called to empty their bowls of judgment, one-by-one, on the earth, the first bowl judgment is disease and sounds a bit like smallpox. It affects only those who have taken the Mark of the Beast in the last days so they could purchase goods and sell their wares, and worship the antichrist. I am not sure how a virus or disease could be specific enough to affect only those with the mark, but it can happen. The first instance of Passover happened when a plague was so selective it killed the Egyptian firstborn children and animals while passing over the Hebrew people who painted lamb's blood as a mark on the door, at God's instruction. This fatal plague, like the flu, happened in less than a day. Is this a disease that has a part in the final act of Revelation? The Bowl 1 plague: The first angel went and poured out his bowl on the land, and ugly, festering sores broke out on the people who had the mark of the beast and worshiped its image. Revelation 16:2 NIV The Two Witnesses bring plague: They have power to shut up the heavens so that it will not rain during the time they are prophesying; and they have power to turn the waters into blood and to strike the earth with every kind of plague as often as they want. Revelation 11:6 NIV Could the Black Death revive? The black death killed as many as 200,000,000 in Europe and Asia in the 14th century, 25% of the world population, and then virtually disappeared. Until recently. A report August, 2017, has the following warning for citizens of New Mexico: "Take precautions." Bubonic Plague has been found in insects and rodents. A Navajo County official posted on Facebook: "Navajo County Health Department is urging the public to take precautions to reduce their risk of exposure to this serious disease, which can be present in fleas, rodents, rabbits and predators that feed upon these animals. "The disease can be transmitted to humans and other animals by the bite of an infected flea or by direct contact with an infected animal." Madagascar has the most recent resurgence of Black Death, as indicated by an article in The Sun, October 22, 2017. NO ONE IS SAFE Brits warned as BLACK DEATH plague outbreak intensifies on Madagascar and kills 100 on holiday island Madagascar currently has 80% of the world's bubonic plague, and the current breakout is not over. We should not take disease for granted. It can resurge and strike at any moment, and the result can shake your world. I get flu shots but only in recent years. I have actually had the flu a couple of times in my life, and each time I promised I would never miss another flu shot; but I did anyway. I am fortunate that I never got one of the really bad ones, like H1N1 in 1918-1919. The flu pandemic of 1918 killed more people than World War I with estimates as high as 50,000,000-100,000,000 dead in a two-year period. Medical researchers have cited the Spanish Flu as the most devastating epidemic in world history. In only one year, more people died from the Spanish Flu than from four years of Black Death in Europe, 1347-1351. The flu was especially hard on the 15-34 age group, 20-times higher than in previous flus. There is a story of four women playing bridge late one night. The next morning, three of the four had died. One would get the flu and die within a few hours. One physician at the time recalled that the influenza patients "died struggling to clear their airways of a blood-tinged froth that sometimes gushed from their nose and mouth." In Washington, DC, 1918, William H Sardo, Jr. recalls pine caskets stacked in the family living room of the funeral home. The epidemic in the U.S. was so bad that church services were banned, and most businesses were closed. People would get symptoms in the morning and die by night. We better pay attention. God is sending plenty of signs our way. The world is sick and in need of a doctor, and the Doctor is on the way. I am sure. Jesus told the apostles, when telling them about the very last days, that had he not returned at this time in history, everyone would be dead. It just cannot be that long. Hopefully. China's Role in the Great Tribulation - By Christian Evidence - https://www.christianpost.com/voice/chinas-role-in-the-great-tribulation.html "Then the sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates and its water was dried up, so that the way of the kings from the East might be prepared." (Rev 16:12) America's role as the world's only superpower is on the decline - which is to be expected since the US is absent from the Book of Revelation, and from Bible Prophecy. On the other hand, nations, such as Russia, Europe and China, are rising to power, replacing America's status. The verse above (Rev 16:12), speaks of a time when, the "kings from the East" (whom many associate with China, and as some form of Chinese army, or Chinese-led coalition), will take advantage of the removal of a natural barrier and sweep westward to meet up with the forces of the Antichrist. The "kings from the east" in Revelation chapter 16 verse 12 has been a silent topic for many years. However, this changed when the communist took-over China during World War II. Since then it has become clear that this largest of all countries in the world has a prophetic role, as you will soon find out. No longer is China content to stay within its vast borders, and live pretty much to itself, as it has been for almost five thousand years. Recent years have seen a dramatic rise in China's power and influence. Napoleon once predicted that "when China wakes, it will shake the world." That is exactly what is happening today. Here's some recent statistics: As America and the big European powers reduce their defense spending, China looks likely to maintain the past decade's increases of about 12% a year. The country is on course to become the world's largest military spender in just 20 years or so. Its army is already estimated to contain about 2.5 million soldiers, making it the largest standing army! China also has the world's second largest navy. China employs sophisticated precision weapons, high-tech information and communications technology. While global arms spending rose 4 percent in 2008, China's grew by 10 percent to an estimated $84.9 billion. China's per capita gdp rose from $439 in 1950 to $7,578 in 2014! Its GDP has increased by an average of almost 10% a year for the past 30 years (Pam Woodall, The World in 2010, 2009). No other nation's economy has grown so fast for so long. After 35 years of almost uninterrupted growth by some measures, such as purchasing power, China has made an unprecedented leap from being the world's tenth-biggest economy to becoming number two (following America). China holds the majority of the United States' debt and, in just one click of a button, can economically cripple the US. It is the world's second largest consumer of oil (following America), with proven oil reserves of about half that of the United States ("BP Statistical Review of World Energy," June 2009). In 15 years, China is expected to surpass the US as the world's largest spender on oil and natural gas ("ExxonMobil to Boost Mainland Sales," China Daily, Nov. 12, 2009). China's high growth rate, low labor costs and a huge emerging market have attracted the world's highest levels of direct foreign investment. China's population of 1.3 billion makes it the most populous nation on earth with a fifth (20%) of the world's people. It is estimated that by 2025, China will have the world's largest middle class" (Foreign Policy, March/April 2008). An enormous population is the building block of a superpower. Revelation 9:13-19 tells us that a massive 200-million-man army will arise from the region east of the Euphrates River. Right now China is the major power east of Jerusalem, and an army of 200 million (Revelation 9:16) fits with China's capability of equipping such an enormous army. In addition, the description and the huge numbers of deaths mentioned (verse 19) may indicate the use of modern weapons of mass destruction. China spends a large percentage of its annual GDP on the military and possesses nuclear and other weapons of mass destruction. Remember, this is speculative and this verse may not be referring to China. Many other characteristics of China have not been listed such as; their aggressive demand for Hong Kong, Taiwan and the Sprately Islands (which proves they have a strategy to control all of Asia), their aggressive rhetoric on the world stage, and the persecution of Chinese Christians. All these characteristics of China make it easy to imagine that the "kings from the East", who one day march into Israel, will include China. However, the term "kings of the east" does mean "kings of the rising sun" which would include Japan and possibly other Asian countries. So it is impossible to know for sure if the Eastern confederacy of the end times will include China; though, it seems very likely that China will be involved, for the above reasons. Nevertheless, the world geopolitical conditions are shaping up for the worlds last great conflict described over nineteen hundred years ago by the Apostle John! When Things Go Wrong - Nathele Graham - [email protected] It can be easy to get down in the dumps when things go wrong in life. Everybody goes through hard times that cause us to worry and sometimes cause we become very angry at our situation. There seems to be a feeling among many Christians that by accepting Christ for salvation we should somehow be protected from the afflictions of this life. That would be nice but it's just not the way things work. When by faith a person accepts Christ for salvation it doesn't mean that life on earth becomes perfect and trouble free, but it does mean that our faith protects our eternity. When a Christian dies, he or she will be with God forever and ever. "Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord: (for we walk by faith, not by sight:) We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord." 2 Corinthians 5:6-8. Being "home in the body" means that our flesh is subject to disease and temptations. Knowing that our true Home is in Heaven with the Lord is a blessing that only Christians can be assured of and that faith should give us strength to face any trial we face. Even though our eternity is sealed we still live in a fallen world. Because of that fact our physical body is subject to the second law of thermodynamics, which is called entropy. That means everything breaks down. Our cars rust, our roofs need replacing, and our bodies eventually wear out. Entropy is a direct result of sin which originated in the Garden of Eden. In that garden there was no death or suffering. There was one protection against death and that was obedience to God. God told Adam not to eat the forbidden fruit or else he would die. "But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die." Genesis 2:17. Of course, Adam ate the fruit. He didn't fall over dead but he could no longer live in the perfect place God had made for him and entropy became a part of life. God always knows best, but Adam chose to disobey God and all of creation fell because of that one act of disobedience. The afflictions in life cause us pain, but if the blame is to be put anywhere it must be put on that old serpent the Devil. Satan and his lies beguiled Eve to eat the fruit that God specifically said not to eat and Adam made his own choice. Death entered the world along with all the pain and suffering we experience. Sin brings death...eternal death...but there are two ways to avoid eternal death. We can live absolutely perfect and righteous according to God's standards (not human standards) or we can look to Jesus. His shed blood takes our sin away and His righteousness allows us to live eternally in Heaven. Humans can never live perfect lives, so the only way to live eternally with God is by accepting Jesus Christ for you salvation. "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." Romans 10:9. Don't wait for things to go wrong; place your faith in Him today. When illness strikes or the death of a loved one breaks our heart, many Christians ask why. Nowhere in God's word are we promised a shield to protect us from tragedy and loss. The way we handle the trials that come our way depends upon our relationship with Christ. Do we trust Him? When He stepped into His creation He chose to become human. That means He also felt pain and knew the sorrow that comes when someone close to us dies. How Did Jesus react when his friend Lazarus died? "Jesus wept." John 11:35. It's okay to shed tears, but don't blame God. It isn't always easy to see things in a positive light, but in good times and bad it's important to focus our thoughts on heavenly things. "Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think of these things. Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you." Philippians 4:8-9. These thoughts won't cure our problems but they give hope and a cushion for pain. Our attitude in times of testing will make a difference in our peace of mind and spirit. If we focus on the disease or the tragedy we will become bitter and blame God. We have a choice in how we face adversity. Whether it's your own disease or you're watching your child suffer, keep your heart and mind tuned to the things of God. Pray for healing, but trust God to be with you through all of life's problems. A question that comes up quite often is "If God is so loving, why does He allow pain and suffering?" That's a valid question and the answer lies in the fact that God IS love. He loves us so much that He didn't make us to be robots but He gave us the blessing of free choice. Adam and Eve were placed in a perfect place...the Garden of Eden. If God hadn't given them a choice as to whether or not they wanted to love and obey Him, then that wouldn't have been real love. Adam and Eve chose sin, but that didn't destroy God's love. Today we still have a choice and the temptations that come our way can cause suffering and even death. Be careful what you choose in life. Following satanic lies will always bring sorrow. "Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul" 1 Peter 2:11. Fleshly lusts are opposed to God and bring disease into our lives. Are you angry with God because you have liver problems even though you chose to allow alcohol to control your life? Have you contracted AIDS or some other sexually transmitted disease and blame God because you chose not to follow His one man/one woman marriage plan? It isn't His fault but He does love you and is willing to forgive your sin but you still have to bear the consequences of your actions. The consequences of sin are a burden, but are a result of our own choices. Sometimes our troubles come by way of an accident instead of a choice we've made, but God is still there to see you through. Never give up in times of trouble because miracles take place every day. The power of the Holy Spirit is unmatched by any other power in the universe. He is powerful, but remember that Jesus referred to Him as "The Comforter". "Nevertheless I tell you the truth; it is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart I will send him unto you." John 16:7. God in His infinite wisdom may choose to allow healing when illness strikes, or He may choose to allow the one suffering to go Home. No matter what He chooses, the Comforter will bring peace. The way a Christian handles the problems in life can be a huge witness to the lost people around us. Pray and ask God for healing, but remember that physical healing isn't always the best answer. Trust God and thank Him for everything. "Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7. It isn't easy to watch a loved one suffer through a disease, but as Christians we have the assurance that God hears all prayer and His peace will be there no matter what His answer is. When my husband died a huge part of me died too. It's been almost five years since he died and I still occasionally have a good cry because I miss him so much. It's during those times that I also thank God for every moment Ron and I had together. I know that Ron is safe in Heaven because he loved and served Jesus. Everyone faces trials, and everyone needs help through those times. Our attitude in adversity may help to win a lost soul to Christ or it may also strengthen a fellow Christian's walk. The Holy Spirit is always there to comfort and guide. There can be no greater peace in times of trouble than to know where you and your loved ones will spend eternity. The only way to spend eternity in heaven with God is to place your faith in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. When (not if) I die my children can be certain that I am with Jesus. My husband is there already, as are many people I have loved. Like me, they had faith in the forgiveness of sin that comes only through Jesus' shed blood. "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." John 14:6. Every person will one day face death but God won't force anyone to spend eternity with Him. If you don't want to obey Him now then you probably won't be willing to obey Him for eternity. God has given us the choice of accepting Him or rejecting Him. That choice has to be made during this life. Don't wait until it's too late. When things go wrong you need to lean on someone. Be sure that Someone is Jesus Christ. Get to know Him when things go right so that you will trust Him when things go wrong. Everything is characterized from the lens of racism, homophobia, misogyny, Islamophobia, bigotry, and scare tactics about how the economy is going to tank under President Donald Trump. These soldiers of "resistance" spend a great deal of time spinning narratives, using partial facts and slanting coverage of events in an attempt to brainwash the public into thinking that America is bad, white Americans are bad, and that anyone who supports the President or even parts of his agenda are terrible, even deplorable, people. There are a lot of myths being spun that don't mesh with the facts. The President, through the Republican Party website, has listed the Top 11 "fake news" stories of 2017. The New York Times, ABC News, Time, CNN, the Washington Post, and Newsweek made the list, some of them several times. Early on, the talking points of the fake news media were that the stock market and economy would never recover from the Trump election. The racist narrative was promoted by TIME by falsely reporting that Trump had removed a bust of Martin Luther King, Jr. from the Oval Office. The Washington Post took pictures of a sold out Trump rally before it started and reported that the arena was empty. There were several stories that had to be retracted about the Trump "Russian connection." While these stories were played and re-reported throughout the days and weeks to millions upon millions, they were all false. Notwithstanding, they served to whip up a frenzy among those who present themselves as educated and informed against the rest of the nation who they consider deplorables. The facts are a different, less reported story. Just today, unemployment numbers are reported the lowest since 2000 and perhaps since the 1970s. The economy has created some 2 million jobs and generated $8 trillion in wealth since the inauguration. African Americans and Hispanics are employed by the largest numbers since these statistics have been recorded. There are many more positive accomplishments by the Trump Administration while over 90% of the media coverage has been negative or spinning yarns of untruths. What president has recognized Jerusalem as the capital of Israel? We also haven't heard much about the Islamic State's murderous activities-could it be because Trump's military has killed them off? From Supreme Court and lower court nominees to regulation reduction to cutting funding for the terrorist operation called the Palestinian Authority, Trump has delivered. Yet the media and leftists remain an Isaiah 59:6-7 people, "...their works are works of iniquity, and the act of violence is in their hands. Their feet run to evil..." Let's seek the truth and believe it instead of believing those who seek to ruin others with their lies spun as truth. But the question I would ask is, "Did he ever have it to begin with?" Really, the only way to tell if a person is a genuine Christian is whether that commitment stands the test of time. So how can you tell if you are really saved? Here are some questions to ask yourself. Is Jesus Christ Lord? (See 1 John 4:15.) Christianity is Jesus. And if you don't have a relationship with Jesus Christ, then I don't know what you are. You may be religious, but you're not a real Christian. Do I obey Christ's commands? (See 1 John 5:3.) This doesn't mean that if you are a Christian, you will be sinless. But it does mean that if you are a Christian, you will sin less . . . and less . . . and less. Am I unhappy or miserable when I'm sinning? (See 1 John 3:9.) If you continue in a pattern of sin without remorse, without conviction, then one would have to ask whether you really are a Christian. Do you keep yourself from the devil? (See 1 John 5:18.) Or, are you sort of going as close to the edge as you can get? A really bad question to ask is, "How much can I get away with and still be a Christian?" Do I love other Christians? (See 1 John 5:1.) When you love God, you will love His children. If you find yourself not wanting to be around other Christians, it's an indication that something isn't right. The true test is where a person winds up. And a true believer always will come home.
