The 2020 U.S. Presidential Election was the most contentious and corrupt election in the history of America (it has been reported that almost 80% of Republicans, about 30% of Independents, and 17% of Democrats believe there was fraud). The shadow government and globalist elite have used an illegal election to replace a president that wanted to put America first with a president that will push world government, and these people are now closer to their long-cherished goal of a one-world government, economy, and godless global religion than they have ever been. In my last article, I reported that Dr. James Dobson said the Republican loss of the two Senate Seats in Georgia will lead to the loss of “government of the people, by the people and for the people” because the Democrats will add more Senate Seats (Washington, DC, and Puerto Rico) and more judges to the U.S. Supreme Court. The Republicans lost both seats, so if Dr. Dobson is right, the election fraud has cost America “government of the people, by the people and for the people.” The shadow government and globalist elite have gained control of every branch of U.S. government through the Democrat Party, and there will be no way to stop the surrender of U.S. sovereignty. Demonic forces have taken over America, and our nation will never recover. Faithful students that study Bible prophecy on a regular basis are not surprised: We have long taught that the Bible prophesies the following: · the nation of Israel will be re-established (it has), · the Church will grow lukewarm (it is), · there will be global pandemics (worse than Covid), · persecution of Christians (lockdowns, pastors arrested, churches fined), · global economic problems (trillion-dollar stimulus packages, the economy of many nations near collapse), · global famine (unemployment and hunger are spreading), · gross immorality and abominations to God (abortion, LGBTQ, etc.), · deceit will increase (censorship, lying, etc.), · the technology to track all buying and selling (coming on the scene now), · the elimination of cash (digital currencies are now going into use), · the arrival of 10 kings in the world (this could be approved at “The Great Reset” soon), · that the U.S. must decline (this appears to be happening now), · a world government (Biden plans to push it), · an antichrist religion (Democrats have removed God from their party platform), etc. This is a spiritual war; America is no longer a Christian nation; Biden and Harris have indicated that they will greenlight globalization, rejoin the World Health Organization, push the Green New Deal, open America’s borders, and more. Fraud has turned America into a one-party nation; voting was worthless; fear, frustration and concern are spreading; many pastors are silent; their church members are like sheep without shepherds in front of a pack of wolves; it is not an easy time for Christians and patriots; this is probably America’s last stand; citizens are upset; and there is a lot of uncertainty about what the future holds for us, our children, our grandchildren, etc. This has prompted me to offer these thoughts: · God is not surprised, He is still in control, the Church has been told to watch for these things, prophecy is being fulfilled, and these things indicate that this present generation could be the terminal generation (Matt. 24:32-34). · Jan Markell said, “Things are not falling apart; things are falling in place,” and Rev. J.D. Farag said, “God isn’t trying to make you happy. God is trying to get you ready.” · This world is not the Christian’s hope or home; the Christian’s hope is not an anti-Christ world government, corrupt politicians, politically motivated judges and courts, or anything except the Rapture of the Church (John 11:11; Titus 2:13). · The purpose of the Rapture is to give Christians knowledge and comfort about their future and that of their deceased loved ones (I Thess. 4:13-18). · Christians are not alone (John 14:16). · The Gates of Hell will not prevail against the Church (Matt. 6:18). · Nothing can separate Christians from the love of God (Rom. 8:38-39). · Christians should set their affections on heaven, stand firm, live by the Word of God, keep the Judgment Seat of Christ in mind, and know that our sins will find us out (Col. 3:2; Matt. 4:4; II Cor. 5:10; Num. 32:23). · A lukewarm attitude, the silence of pastors, and Church members that know very little Scripture signify the end of the age (Rev. 3:15-18). · People who are not saved should quickly and sincerely put their faith in Jesus (not baptism or joining a church) for the forgiveness of their sins (Prov. 3:5-7; John 3:16; 14:6). · Christians should love others, do good works, attend Church, get the gospel out (to everyone, but especially to their family), pray often, pray for the peace of Jerusalem, and more (Heb. 10:24-25; Mark 16:15; Psa. 122;6). · Christians should watch the signs and pray that God will consider them worthy to be Raptured before the Tribulation Period arrives (Luke 21:36). · Know that God raises up leaders and God brings down leaders. He had a reason for putting Trump in office, He has a reason for removing Trump, and a reason for putting Biden in office. I tend to believe God is ready to let world government advance, and Trump would have been in the way. · God’s prophecies must be fulfilled, and good will come from every situation (Rev. 1:1; Rom. 8:28). Here are more of my thoughts along a different line: · On Jan. 6, 2021, an angry mob stormed and breached the U.S. Capitol building, and tragically, 1 person was killed almost immediately, several others died, several police were injured, and there was property damage. · Politicians and pundits immediately blamed Trump, but Congress, the FBI, CIA, the Media, and the U.S. Supreme Court must share the blame (also there have been reports that Antifa and Black Lives Matter were among the protesters and responsible for some of the violence; On Jan. 7, it was reported that 2 members of Antifa had already been identified by facial recognition technology. Some officials deny it, but they proved untruthful in the Russian Collusion hoax). · Barack Obama and Chuck Schumer have boasted that they will fundamentally change America, and they have been involved. · The House tried to dump Trump for 4 years, falsely accused him, impeached him for nothing, and ignored the crimes of the Bidens and Clintons. · The FBI, CIA and others lied and falsely prosecuted people because they wanted to dump Trump, and little to nothing has been done. · A Special Prosecutor was appointed to investigate the Clintons and the Russian Collusion hoax, and the public has been promised a report for years, but it has never been released, and it will probably be covered up. · Politicians, the Media, and some police claim that we are a nation of laws, but they have ignored 4 years of Antifa and Black Lives Matter rioting, looting, burning, injuring people, and attacking the police. · Despite overwhelming evidence of voter fraud, judges have refused to hear the evidence, the U.S. Supreme Court has done nothing, and some people think violence is the only answer (God is the only answer). · Pundits immediately started saying “we must come together,” but it will not happen because the left’s definition of “coming together” is that the right must totally submit. The left will never agree to restrictions on abortion, sexual perversion, drug abuse, etc. (Rev. 9:20-21), and true Christians will not totally surrender. Simply put, violence is wrong, but Washington is corrupt and broken; frustration started building before Trump ran for President. Millions of people do not want mob rule, one-party rule, their voice to go unheard, to open America’s borders, to surrender America’s sovereignty, to let unsaved diplomats at the UN tell the U.S. what laws we have to pass, different voting rules for different people, the crimes of the Clintons and Bidens ignored, the police attacked, the police defunded, and judges that ignore the law and rule in favor of their own political party. It saddens me to say it, but I do not believe Congress will listen. According to Bible prophecy, abortion, perversion, drug abuse, and globalism will explode; freedom of speech and freedom of religion will decline; persecution of believers and anti-Semitism will increase; violence will increase; there will be no revival in the Church; and God will soon send the Tribulation Period to deal with godless government in America and the world. On the other hand, I rejoice to say that God is listening to the grievances of His people. The world is dark, but light is coming, and these tragic events are reasons for hope (I Thess. 5:4-9). The Christian’s future is glorious, and the nearness of world government and the Tribulation Period implies that the Rapture of the Church is close. I don’t know how to define close, but I honestly believe the appointment of 10 people to rule over a world government in the next 4 years is a distinct possibility. Here are some more stories that made the news: One, concerning false accusers, Democrats praised and bailed out rioters, looters, and arsonists in some cities, but on Jan. 7, 2021, Biden called those that stormed the capitol “rioters, insurrectionists and domestic terrorists.” Some reports said hundreds of thousands of people attended the March to Save America, and about 40-50,000 went to the capitol. Thus, most of those that went to Washington were not involved in the violence. Violence is wrong, and if the Democrats want to “come together,” they should recognize that most of those that went to Washington have legitimate grievances that must be addressed and admit the truth about the involvement of Antifa and Black Lives Matter. Sadly, there is every reason to believe that hypocrisy, lying and deceit will prevail. Two, one TV commentator said the reason Pelosi, Schumer, Ilhan Omar and others want to remove Trump from office with less than 2 weeks to go is because removal from office will disqualify him from running for President 4 years from now. They obviously do not know that they have no control over who will run for President 4 years from now because God raises up our leaders. As I see it, the President of the U.S. could very well be one of the Ten Kings under the rule of the Antichrist 4 years from now (I am not setting a date for the Rapture). Incidentally, saying the election was stolen is not an impeachable offense. Three, concerning the Battle of Gog and Magog, on Jan. 4, 2021, Iran announced that it is now enriching uranium to 20%. Israeli Prime Min. Netanyahu said Iran is trying to develop nuclear weapons, and Israel will not let them do it. I have been saying it for a long time, but the latter days, latter years Battle of Gog and Magog could be close (Ezek. 38:8, 16). Four, on Jan. 6, 2021, Rev. Franklin Graham said, “We (America) are in trouble. I believe God’s judgment is coming, for the sins of our nation are great, and they are a stench in the nostrils of our Creator.” Five, concerning famine, on Jan. 7, 2021, Bloomberg reported that global food prices hit a 6-year high in Dec. 2020, and they are likely to go higher in 2021. The higher cost of food is expected to increase inflation. Six, the place that is believed to be the site where John the Baptist baptized Jesus is in an area between Israel and Jordan that was designated a war zone more than 50 years ago. Land mines were laid in the area, and people were warned to stay away. Two years ago, Israel started removing the landmines, and the area has now been declared safe. On Jan. 10, 2021, it was reported that a group toured the area and held a baptism ceremony there. Seven, concerning the censorship of Trump, and Christian and conservative websites, on Jan. 10, 2021, it was reported that Biden has at least 14 current or former executives of Amazon, Apple, Facebook, Google, and Twitter ready to serve in his administration or advising his transition team. In my opinion, one of the primary reasons for censorship is to silence anyone that opposes the surrender of America’s sovereignty to a world government. Eight, on Jan. 10, 2021, it was reported that a post on Biden’s website says he has plans to defeat the NRA and “end our epidemic of gun violence.” There are not a lot of specifics, but the NRA is saying Biden will make “a concerted attack on the rights of gun owners. Finally, God loves you, and if you have not done so, sincerely admit that you are a sinner; believe that Jesus is the virgin-born, sinless Son of God who died for the sins of the world, was buried, and raised from the dead; ask Him to forgive your sins, cleanse you, come into your heart and be your Saviour; then tell someone that you have done this. Christians are being slaughtered all across Africa, they are being taken to concentration camps in North Korea, thousands of churches have been brutally shut down under a new wave of persecution in China, and millions of believers throughout the Middle East must live knowing that each new day may be their last. Of course most Americans have never heard about any of this because the mainstream media won’t cover it. Thankfully, there are organizations that do keep track of what is happening to Christians around the globe, and one of them is Open Doors USA. According to the group, the number of Christians that were killed for their faith was 60 percent higher in 2020 than it was in 2019… The watchdog organization Open Doors USA says levels of Christian persecution are at a record high around the world. Open Doors reports that levels of Christian persecution are at a record high, revealing that the number of Christians murdered for their faith rose 60 percent in 2020. A 6 percent rise in a single year would be bad. A 60 percent increase is a nightmare. Open Doors USA also just released the 2021 World Watch List in which they named the top 50 nations that are persecuting Christians the most. Here are the top 10… North Korea Afghanistan Somalia Libya Pakistan Eritrea Yemen Iran Nigeria India North Korea is definitely deserving of the number one spot on the list. Most people tend to think of “concentration camps” as something that happened during World War II, but the truth is that North Korea has been running concentration camps for decades. Right now, hundreds of thousands of prisoners are enslaved in these camps, and most of those that get sent to one of them are never heard from again… Two North Korean families prayed silently on the prison floor—making certain to keep their eyes open. Another detainee, a veteran of Kim Jong-il’s gulag system, asked them if they were afraid. “No,” one of the mothers replied. “Jesus looks over us.” The detainee began to cry, knowing the fate that awaited them. The next day, they were sent to Chongjin Susong political prison camp, and have not been heard from since. When people describe North Korea as “evil”, they are not exaggerating one bit. Sadly, Afghanistan also deserves their spot in the top 10. Many of those that convert to Christianity face death, and the government that was installed following the U.S. invasion is extremely hostile to the Christian faith. If this was the end result, why in the world did the U.S. sacrifice so much to bring “freedom” to that nation? Thousands of U.S. soldiers died, countless more were injured, and we spent trillions of dollars fighting that war. And now they are one of the most oppressive countries on the entire planet. According to Open Doors, other nations such as India have been using COVID as an excuse to ramp up persecution of believers… And the pandemic has even been used as an excuse to increase that persecution. “The big surprise on the World Watch List 2021 is that extremists and governments are using COVID-19 as a justification to increase persecution against Christians and we see this in several places,” Curry told CBN News. “In India, where local governments are using pressure on Christians to withhold food and medical care – over 115,000 incidents of this that we can document,” explained Curry. “It’s also extremists like in northern Nigeria. Boko Haram which is attacking Christian villages, knowing that there is nowhere for them to go and they’re taking food and medical supplies. We’ve documented this. This is happening more and more and that’s on top of the other incidents of persecution. So, there’s this level of intensity that’s been added to because of COVID.” In Africa, mass slaughters of Christians are happening on a regular basis, but the mainstream media in the western world hardly ever mentions them. For example, Ethiopian troops recently attacked a historic church in Tigray that is rumored to hold the Ark of the Covenant… On Tuesday, 15th of December, Ethiopian federal troops and Amhara militia approached the Mariam of Zion cathedral in the Tigrayan city of Aksum. It is possible that they thought that Tigrayan troops were sheltering in the church – taking advantage of the ancient right of sanctuary. According to a number of sources the church was full, with some saying that up to 1,000 people were in the building or the compound surrounding it. The advancing soldiers caused consternation: a chapel in the compound is believed by Ethiopians to house the biblical Ark of the Covenant. Only a monk – appointed as its guardian – may see it. There was a huge commotion. Amhara soldiers are reported to have shouted that “the Ark belongs in Addis Ababa!” but this cannot be confirmed. Those inside the cathedral came out to try to defend the sacred object. Those inside the church were determined to protect the Ark that was sitting inside, and Ethiopian troops opened fire. In the end, “as many as 750 people” were mowed down… A confrontation ensued. Everyone in the compound was forced into the square outside the cathedral. As the crowd milled around, there was further shouting and the troops opened fire on the protesting crowd. As many as 750 people are reported to have been killed. News of the massacre has only gradually reached the outside world. People walked over 200 kilometres to the regional capital, Mekelle, and from there the story gradually filtered out – despite the clamp-down on the media in Tigray. But have you heard anything about this from the mainstream media in the western world? Of course not. They are way too busy talking about what just happened at the U.S. Capitol to focus on anything else. For the record, I do not believe that the real Ark of the Covenant was there. Instead, I believe that what the Mariam of Zion cathedral in Aksum was protecting was a replica of the Ark that was brought back by the Queen of Sheba after she visited the land of Israel during the reign of King Solomon. But even though it is not the real article, it is still an irreplaceable part of history. Over in China, the persecution of Christians now resembles something out of a dystopian science fiction novel. As I have written about previously, thousands of churches have been permanently shut down, Bibles are being regularly burned in public, and countless numbers of church leaders have been “disappeared”. For those churches that are permitted to remain open, technology is used to carefully watch every move… Curry explained, “There’s 100 million Christians right now in China, and they (the regime) are using their technology to surveil the church. They’re watching their every move. They’re seeing when they go into church. They’re using facial recognition. They’re looking at their searches online. They have a massive surveillance system which is monitoring religious practice in China and it is absolutely chilling, and I think it poses the greatest threat to human rights.” Of course animosity toward Christians is rapidly rising all over the western world as well, and what we have witnessed so far is just the beginning. Every single day, the Christian faith is being demonized on television, in the movies, in our education system and by many prominent voices in our society. Sadly, it is just a matter of time before the same level of persecution that we are seeing in China and elsewhere happens here too. If you are a Christian, you better know what you believe and why you believe it, because the years ahead are going to test you greatly. We "fight" for healthcare, justice, human rights, entitlements, civil rights — even peace. The criminality of Hillary's outlaw email server, the phony Russia Hoax, the fake Ukraine Impeachment, FISA Warrant abuse, the politically contaminated and compromised FBI — that all gets a "pass" — but Trump telling supporters to fight for their country — THAT is impeachable? We are witnessing and experiencing a perverse and dangerous effort to purge America of all things Trumpian — but more importantly — the conservative, traditional values of millions of Americans. It is not only about erasure, but criminalization. Ordinary Americans who support President Trump — and at least 75 million that voted for him — are being targeted with a barrage of efforts to sensationalize and marginalize their beliefs. The professional political and media classes of America's East and West Coasts are striking hard and fast to eliminate Trump. Capitol Police officer Brian Sicknick's death is tragic. So is the death of unarmed Air Force veteran Ashli Babbitt. Other "public" deaths in the last nine months have resulted in huge public protests and cities such as Portland burning for weeks. No such reaction to the Sicknick and Babbitt deaths. One wonders why. Where are Antifa and BLM now? Why so quiet? No justice, no peace! — right? Maybe not. Meanwhile, many are clamoring for Donald Trump's immediate removal from office. Trump gave a speech stating: "if you don't fight like hell you're not going to have a country anymore." That remark is supposed to qualify as "incitement to insurrection." What a pathetic, transparent lie! Think of the number of times innumerable politicians have invoked "fight" to express encouragement for active public policy engagement. We "fight" for healthcare, justice, human rights, entitlements, civil rights — even peace. The hypocrisy is breathtaking — and dangerous. Trump supporters are supposed to be rhetorically beaten into silent submission, erased from public discourse, and subject to a new sort of bill of attainder, criminalizing all they believe in and support — because Trump succeeded in disrupting official Washington DC, but was not quite savvy enough to win a second term. The criminality of Hillary's outlaw email server, the phony Russia Hoax, the fake Ukraine Impeachment, FISA Warrant abuse, the politically contaminated and compromised FBI — that all gets a "pass" — but Trump telling supporters to fight for their country — THAT is impeachable? For some people, even raising these points for discussion is "scary." They would rather "wait for things to settle down," or "see how the inauguration and the opening days of the new administration go," before raising objections to the bulldozing of Trump supporters' civil rights. Well, that is too little and too late. Many critics are overplaying their hands. They sense weakness and seek to snuff out, permanently, any idea that Trumpism could manifest itself again on the American political landscape. It's time to institute the Uniparty and get consensus. They want to roll the clock back and return to the old rules of the DC game. They are even having an "event" to symbolize it. Ironically, it is a wreath-laying at Arlington Cemetery featuring The Establishment. Everything and everyone Trump fought against. Former presidents of both parties. There are many Americans who want nothing to do with those former presidents and what they represent. Biden did not win in a landslide. Many feel disenfranchised. Erasing and criminalizing those Americans will only exacerbate the deep divisions in America. The Die Is Cast - By Grant Phillips - https://www.raptureready.com/2021/01/16/the-die-is-cast-by-grant-phillips/ This article is a follow-up to my earlier article called “What’s Next?” Today is January 7, 2021. Today we know that the Democrats control the White House, the House of Representatives and the Senate. Is there anything remaining that will not be under their control? Not that I can think of, but let’s not kid ourselves; most of the Republicans are just as corrupt. Some Republicans are already making plans to recover at least the Senate in two years and the White House in four years. Frankly, I wouldn’t hold my breath. If you have been listening closely, you would have heard the sound of the most blessed nation in history, apart from Israel, going down the proverbial drain. The dark clouds of God’s judgment are positioning overhead, and His wrath is soon to come — not just on our nation, but all the world (the Tribulation). Our 44th president (Obama) was the most anti-God President we have ever had in the White House. His actions were so anti-God and anti-American, many decent citizens of this land were like the deer caught in the headlights of an oncoming train. He can be credited for moving Satan’s plan forward several notches, but what we have coming next will put everything in high gear. Our new political leaders now have the keys to the candy store, and nothing will be denied them. I have little doubt that we will see changes made in the next two years that will make his legacy look like child’s play if that were possible. A brother in Christ reminded me to read Habakkuk. I have read this book many times, but I read it again. I didn’t refer to it when writing, “What’s Next?” I just didn’t think about it at the time. I love the way Habakkuk is written. Habakkuk is complaining to God in chapter 1:1-4. God responds to him in chapter 1:5-11. Habakkuk complains again in chapter 1:12-2:1, and God answers him again in chapter 2:2-20. Finally, in chapter three, Habakkuk offers a prayer to God. If this doesn’t prove that history repeats itself, then I don’t know what does. Please read this book. It isn’t very long, and the key verse is chapter 2:4. “Behold the proud, His soul is not upright in him; But the just shall live by his faith” (Habakkuk 2:4). Also, take note of these Scripture passages in the New Testament. “For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, ‘The just shall live by faith‘” (Romans 1:17). “But that no one is justified by the law in the sight of God is evident, for ‘the just shall live by faith’” (Galatians 3:11). “Now the just shall live by faith; But if anyone draws back, My soul has no pleasure in him” (Hebrews 10:38). Folks, it really doesn’t matter who is in control of the White House, the House of Representatives, the Senate, the Supreme Court, or any other governmental agency. GOD IS IN CONTROL OF THEM! God will only allow them to proceed so far, just as He would not allow Satan to take Job’s life. Does it mean that life could get “uncomfortable” under these tyrants? Yes, it does. Just as life was uncomfortable for Job for a while, and think of the apostle Paul. Satan hated Paul and threw all the fiery darts at him he could, but don’t you think Satan was “pulling his hair out” and “gritting his teeth” while Paul and Silas were singing praises to God while in prison (Acts 16:25)? You bet he was! Will circumstances get that difficult for us before Jesus takes us out of here? I have no idea, but I do know “the just shall live by faith.” My brother in Christ also sent me a video to watch of Dr. David Reagan. Dr. Reagan’s message was, “What Is God Doing in America?” It is less than 30 minutes and would be well worth your time to watch it. We in America have never known anything but being comfortable and having a rewarding life in most cases. The truth is, the next few years will probably be uncomfortable, not so much for those who would compromise God’s Word, but those who refuse to compromise. Knowledge of the future belongs only to God. Life may get bad, or it may not. The Lord Jesus could remove us (true Christians) at any time. I don’t know when, but the point is, that same faith we used to trust Jesus to save us and give us eternal life is the same faith we use to trust Him now. In my opinion, those who are the most anxious about this whole sordid political affair are the very ones who are not faithful in the Word. As a Christian, get in the Word, now. Read your Bible. Could it be this is one reason, among others, that God is allowing this to happen? Maybe He wants his own children to learn how to lean on Him. He’s done it before. As a nation, we are on the fast track to judgment. The “glory days” are gone and will never return. There will be no national revival. We have passed the point of no return. We are just like Judah. God pleaded with them time and time again until He said enough is enough. God judged Israel, the northern kingdom. He judged Judah, the southern kingdom. He has judged other nations, and we are now under judgment. BUT individually, we have everything to shout about if we know Jesus! As believers, our Redeemer is another day closer to snatching us away in the Rapture and taking us to the Father’s house. For unbelievers, they can ask Jesus to save them now and have the same promise in their lives. In my opinion, I know we are in the season of our Lord’s return. I know He can come at any time. I know it “could” be today. I think it will be soon. Jesus told us He has gone to the Father’s house to prepare a place for each of us and that He will keep us from the hour of trial (the Tribulation). “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. There are many outrageous stories circulating among conservatives weaving a little bit of truth to make a better lie, sowing false hope and confusion. There are even a number of so-called “Prophets” making claims about the inauguration. There are very many similarities between what we are facing as a nation in this specific instance and the prophecy by Christ in Matthew 24, but understand clearly that Christ was not talking about the United States, rather very specifically about the end of days. Christ’s first warning to his disciples in verse 4 was, “Take heed that no man deceive you.” He said there would be rumors and pestilences and many coming in his name and deceiving many. He spoke of people being offended, betrayed and hated. And of false prophets deceiving many. He said that because lawlessness shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. Sounds a lot like today’s situation, especially with the pestilence of COVID; the false prophets in news and religion; the betrayal of many; the lawlessness we have seen; and the deception. Much of this has conditioned many well-intended people to advocate for precedent-setting tyrannical actions that are in themselves unlawful and unconstitutional. There are so many conspiracy theories, false narratives, and prophecies circulating among conservatives and the Christian community that people are having a difficult time knowing what to believe and what to do. These are creating a delusional sense of denial for some, and anxiety and fear for many. This is not of the Lord. As in 2 Timothy 1:7, “For God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” 1 Corinthians 14:33 says that God is not the author of confusion, but of peace. And 1 Peter 5:8 warns, “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walks about, seeking whom he may devour.” Among the current authors of these predictions are manipulators and usurpers representing principalities who are testing the appetite for heavy-handed and tyrannical tactics. They are riling up and instigating, mixing lies and truth, based on the very real psychological paradigm that people will believe what they want to believe. Mark these words: There is no savior apart from Christ. Thinking otherwise will lead to great disappointment and perhaps even greater calamity. Remember 1 Kings 19:12, “and after the earthquake a fire, but the LORD was not in the fire; and after the fire a still small voice.” The Lord is not likely found in all these grand rumors and quaking theories and fiery false prophecies. Listen to His still small voice and you will find Him—it is the voice of truth, peace, courage, love, and clarity. I think we could make a pretty good case for finding China in Bible prophecy. And we certainly could make an airtight case for finding Iran in Bible prophecy—and Israel as well. But we cannot find the United States of America. How is it that the reigning superpower on the planet today doesn’t seem to be mentioned? No one knows the answer, but let’s consider an option. What if the Rapture were to take America out of its lead role? There are approximately 328.2 million people in the United States. For the sake of illustration, I’ll round that number to 300 million. I don’t know how many are followers of Christ, but I read recently that 65 percent of Americans identify as Christians. To be very conservative, let’s say that 10 percent of the people in the United States of America are Christians. Now, imagine for a moment what would happen if 30 million people suddenly were to leave Planet Earth in the Rapture—people who work in industry, government, the military, and every area imaginable. Do you think that would affect our nation? Of course it would. Effectively, America would collapse overnight. I don’t know the reason our nation isn’t mentioned in Bible prophecy, but I do know this: Jesus Christ is returning. The Bible says, “This is all the more urgent, for you know how late it is; time is running out. Wake up, for our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed” (Romans 13:11 NLT). If you’re believer who’s living a compromised life, you need to repent and get right with God. And if you don’t have a relationship with Jesus Christ, then you’ve got to wake up and get right with God. Wake up. Jesus is coming. Are you ready?
