I felt compelled to write this article because I have heard so many good Christians saying that the election of Donald Trump is a reprieve from God. I have a different perspective. During the past election year, America experienced a very dirty campaign. From the very beginning, the Republican Party was at each other's throats. Establishment GOP were vehemently against the nomination of billionaire businessman, Donald Trump. He was not a politician, therefore, he was not in the same club as the average Washington D.C. politician. Trump was going against the tide and he stood up against the policies from BOTH sides of our government. Mr. Trump was opposed to this mess with illegal immigration and the open border policies of Barack Obama. He was against the TPP, a trade deal that was intended to sell out American jobs to Asia. This was another policy by Barack Obama, that hinted at sabotage against the American worker. Repealing Obamacare was another promise made by Donald Trump and he listed one thing after another that he would change in his efforts to "make America great again". Basically, Mr. Trump made it clear that he intended to undo most everything that Barack Obama and company did during the past eight years of the Obama Administration. During those eight years, the establishment politicians in both parties rolled out the red carpet and allowed Barack Obama to dismantle and destroy many American traditions. Obama is a radical, there is no doubt, and his flippant rule and egotistical manner proved to MANY that he was no friend of America. It certainly appeared that Obama was bent on the destruction of America and he took the side of many ultra leftist groups such as the Muslim Brotherhood, Black Lives Matter and militant gay and lesbian organizations. Barack Obama applauded himself as he gave billions of dollars to Iran, thus helping them toward developing a nuclear bomb. Obama flipped his finger at America as he opened the borders, allowed illegal alien criminals to run free in America, while he ordered the release of terrorists from GITMO. When not playing golf, Barack Obama signed one executive order after another, as he overstepped his authority. Under Obama's watch, the IRS was used as a weapon against Christian conservative groups. With the help of then Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Obama brought war to the Middle East, as one country toppled after another, in the so called ARAB SPRING, which was actually a takeover by the violent Muslim Brotherhood. This led to mass persecution of Christians and many of those countries are now hot bed breeding grounds for terrorism. To sum up the past eight years, America is a different country now after Obama's "hope and change" and we can say that Barack Obama was successful as he fundamentally transformed 'America the Beautiful' into America the divided and nearly conquered. One of the most dangerous acts by Barack Hussein Obama was to stab Israel in the back and the heart. Even though Obama had many Jewish cabinet members working closely with him, such as Rahm Emanuel and Anthony Weiner, Obama made it clear to the world that he was no friend of Israel and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, to whom he treated with extreme disrespect, including meddling in the election process in Israel, to defeat Netanyahu. The Obama Administration took the side of the Palestinians, declaring support for the 'two state solution' and on December 23, 2016, just one day before Hanukkah was celebrated, America abstained from voting on a U.N. resolution that condemned Israel for building houses on God given land. The Presidental campaign was nasty to say the least. Globalist world leaders dismissed the relevance of candidate Donald Trump. He ran on 'America first' and this violated globalists' plans to devise a ONE WORLD GOVERNMENT. Donald Trump's opponent was former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. She was funded by international bankers, Wall Street, Saudi Arabia , China and billionaire Nazi collaborator George Soros. To many real Americans, a President Hillary Clinton would be a disaster for our nation. It was too scary to imagine how Clinton would sell out America to the highest bidder, while those around her were involved in satanic activities such as 'spirit cooking'. How could God protect America, with this kind of evil having a hold on our nation's capital? Hillary Clinton was to be the sweeper after Obama. While Obama broke and destroyed fundamental laws of America, Hillary would have swept up the mess. As Obama demolished America, Hillary Clinton would have thrown out the debris and America would have been brought down to the studs. A once free nation would have become a complete ruin. On November 8, 2016, Donald Trump defeated Hillary Rodham Clinton. Many were stunned at her defeat, but those of us who prayed on bended knee for God's mercy, were not surprised. Our prayers asked for God to forgive America, to have mercy on our nation, and to protect us from the evil to come by the actions of the 'God haters' in our government. Many feel that Clinton's defeat was indeed a reprieve from coming judgement and distruction by God. I have a different perspective about this. The condition of the world now, after Obama and other globalists have done their best to destroy sovereign nations, is very perilous. Islamic invaders have been welcomed into countries throughout Europe. Islam and free nations do not mix. Islam means submission and that clashes with free societies where people have enjoyed free thinking, free expression and free speech. Free open societies are not perfect. As long as laws are respected, people can come and go with freedom to be who they want to be. In an Islamic state, there are severe restrictions and some people have more rights than others. Women are not given freedoms in Islamic states like they have in the West. Islam sees anyone who is not Islamic as being an infidel. Killing an 'infidel' is allowed by the Quran. This mentality completely and utterly clashes with free and law abiding societies. Globalist leaders such as Angela Merkel, have opened their borders to Islamic-so-called-migrants, the excuse being that these countries need more workers. The media has sold this as helping refugees from Syria and Iraq, but few women and children are found among these 'refugees', most of them being men of military age. Those who are opposed to this have viewed these migrants as INVADERS and not workers. Violent crime is on the rise in places where this was not so, just a short time ago. Germany, Sweden, Netherlands, Italy, Belgium, and France have reported an alarming rise in violent crimes like rape. Also, there have been horrible terrorist attacks in Germany, France, and Belgium by these so called refugees. It seems like the leaders allowing this invasion are blinded to the fact that they are inviting, with open arms, the very people that will destroy their countries from within. This Islamic invasion is taking place all over the planet, like seeds being planted for a future purpose. Has America received a reprieve by the election of Donald Trump? One of Trump's promises that has not gotten enough attention is his plan to move the U. S. embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, thus declaring before the entire world that the United States recognizes JERUSALEM AS THE CAPITAL OF ISRAEL. Could it be that this is the reason why God Almighty allowed Donald Trump to become the President? It is a certainty that Hillary Clinton would never have done this. Instead, she would have furthered the backstabbing of Israel. Can we say that God wants the world to know that Jerusalem is the capital of Israel? Will Donald Trump acknowledge the JERUSALEM COVENANT, a document written by Rabbi Menachem Elon, a law professor and Orthodox rabbi, who specialized in traditional Jewish law. The covenant was presented to the Israeli government in 1992 on the 25th anniversary of the reunification of Jerusalem. It has been signed by rabbis, government leaders and thousand and thousands of Israel's supporters. The Jerusalem Covenant "We have gathered together in Zion, national leaders and heads of our communities everywhere, to enter into a covenant with Jerusalem, as was done by the leaders of our nation and all the people of Israel upon Israel's return to its Land from the Babylonian exile; and the people and their leaders will dwell in Jerusalem, the Holy City. Once again, 'our feet stand within your gates, O Jerusalem - Jerusalem built as a city joined together' which 'unites the people of Israel to one another', and 'links heavenly Jerusalem with earthly Jerusalem.' We have returned to the place that the Lord vowed to bestow upon the descendants of Abraham, Father of our Nation; to the City of David, King of Israel; where Solomon, son of David, built a Holy Temple; a Capital City which became the Mother of all Israel; a metropolis for justice and righteousness and for the wisdom and insights of the ancient world; where a Second Temple was erected in the days of Ezra and Nehemiah. In this city the prophets of the Lord prophesied; in the City the Sages taught Torah; in this City the Sanhedrin convened in session in its stone chamber. 'For there were the seats of Justice, the Throne of the House of David', 'for out of Zion shall go forth Torah, and the Word of the Lord from Jerusalem.' Today, as of old, we hold fast to the truth of the words of the Prophets of Israel, that all the inhabitants of the world shall enter within the gates of Jerusalem: 'And it shall come to pass at the end of days, the mountain of the House of the Lord will be well established at the peak of the mountains and will tower above the hills, and all the nation shall stream towards it.' Each and every nation will live in it by its own faith: 'For all the nation will go forward, each with its own Divine Name; we shall go in the name of the Lord our God forever and ever.' And in this spirit the Knesset of the State of Israel has enacted a law: The places holy to the peoples of all religions shall be protected from any desecration and from any restriction of free access to them. Jerusalem - peace and tranquility shall reign in the city: 'Pray for the peace of Jerusalem; may those who love you be tranquil. May there be peace within your walls, and tranquility within your palaces.' Out of Jerusalem, a message of peace went forth and shall yet go forth again to all the inhabitants of the earth: 'And they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning-hooks; nation will not lift up sword against nation, nor shall they learn war anymore.' Our sages, peace be upon them, said. In the future, The Holy One, the Blessed, will comfort Jerusalem only with peace.. From this place, we once again take this vow: 'If I forget thee, O Jerusalem, may my right hand lose its strength; may my tongue cleave to my palate if I do not remember you, if I do not raise up Jerusalem at the very height of my rejoicing.' And with all these understandings, we enter into this Covenant and write: 'We shall bind you to us forever; we shall bind you to us with faithfulness, with righteousness and justice, with steadfast love and compassion.' We love you, O Jerusalem, with eternal love, with unbounded love, under siege and when liberated from the yoke of oppressors. We have been martyred for you; we have yearned for you, we have clung to you. Our faithfulness to you we shall bequeath to our children after us. Forevermore our home shall be within you." When President Trump affirms that Jerusalem is the capital of Israel, the dogs of hell will be unleashed on earth. They will be out for blood. Satan wants Jerusalem for himself. He has his minions on earth desperately trying to cut the city up, steal holy sites away from Israel and give away 'land for peace'. God's name is written on Jerusalem. Satan has no rights to this city but ever since his fall, in defiance of God, Lucifer has wanted Jerusalem for himself where he would be worshipped above God Almighty. Isaiah 14:12-14 (KJV) 12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! 13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: 14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. President Trump's plans to move the U. S. embassy to Jerusalem, means Trump agrees with God, that Jerusalem belongs to God's chosen people. The world will disagree, and this move will unleash Satan's fury not only against Trump, but also against the United States of America. Satan's minions in the news media, our government, and globalists around the world, have been throwing fits of rage ever since Trump won the election. Could this explain the rabid hatred all these radicals have for Donald Trump? We have witnessed the hand of God on this election. Christians on bended knee prayed hard and God heard our prayers. God's will was for Donald Trump to be the 45th President, as all efforts to stop him failed. Is it also God's desire that Jerusalem become the world's center of attention now? Are we approaching God's appointed time? I believe the election of Donald Trump was allowed to happen, not as a reprieve, but as a PROPHECY ACCELERATOR. While many sit back and think we have been given a reprieve, it might be more correct to say that we have entered a new prophetic time frame. Indeed, these could be interesting times. If Trump does fulfill his plan to officially acknowledge the capital of Israel to be Jerusalem, then America must expect the backlash from the world to be fierce, especially from Muslim nations. It could cause terrorist acts in America to seriously increase. We would be in perilous times for sure. This is the time to pray harder than we did before the election. We must pray that God's will be done, and His hand to be upon our nation and President Trump. Many 'watchers on the wall' believe the Rapture, or the calling out of the Body of Christ, will occur around the Jewish Feast of Trumpets, which occurs in the autumn. What if this event were to happen during Trump's time in office? I have heard that he has chosen many born again Christians for key positions in his administration and some have said that Donald Trump himself became a born again Christian during the Presidential campaign. If this is correct, the Rapture could remove the top people from our government, leaving it in total confusion. The Holy Bible says that all the nations of the world will come up against Israel in the end times. After the Rapture, governments around the world will have no Christian presence. Israel will not have any Christian ally nations. The Rapture of the Body of Christ is the CATALYST toward God's appointed time. Zechariah 12:1-3 (KJV) 12 The burden of the word of the Lord for Israel, saith the Lord, which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him. 2 Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem. 3 And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it. Could it be that before the Rapture of the church, God Almighty wants the world to know that Jerusalem belongs to Israel, His chosen people? Is President Trump the man selected to do this? Are we approaching a new prophetic phase during these end times? We will have to wait and see, and it could get a little scary out there. This could be a VERY interesting and challenging year. So, stay faithful, hopeful, and prayed up.

Talk of a "legacy" is in the air. To this end, Barack Obama has been working hard over the past few weeks, attempting to ensure his own legacy is firmly secured. The legacy Barack Obama will be remembered for began back in 2009, when he delivered a truly world changing speech in Cairo, Egypt. In this foundational speech, Barack Obama outlined his vision for the world at the very beginning of his presidency. He outlined his vision for the Middle East, for Israel, and for Islam. It was this vision that would subsequently set U.S. government policy over the next eight years of Obama's Administration. Asked by an interviewer last week, at the conclusion of his second term, if with the benefit of hindsight he would make that same speech again, Obama's response was stunningly simply "Absolutely" he would. Despite all the failures; despite ISIS, despite the horrific genocide of Christians in the Middle East that occurred during his time in office, despite the mass migration of entire peoples and nations from the Middle East into America and Europe; despite Paris, Brussels, Fort Hood, Boston, San Bernardino and Orlando; despite a resurgent and nuclear hungry Iran, despite the successful invasion of the Middle East by Russia; despite the blatant politicization of U.S. institutions such as the Department of Justice and IRS, Barack Obama says resolutely that "Yes," he would do it all over again if he could. It is the mark of a well-developed narcissist to remain so willfully committed to his own failed agenda in the face of such overwhelming destruction, death, failure and corruption. This is because in Obama's mind the strategy he outlined in Cairo has not really failed. Quite the opposite, it has been an outstanding success and has only now, at the very conclusion of his time in power, approached a point of completion. In Cairo, during the first half of his hour-long diatribe, Obama set out the framework for his views on understanding Islam's relationship with the Western world and with the United States. His view, and that of the administration he led, was that Islam had been subject to colonialist type aggression and even racism, from both America and the West. Islam, according to Obama, was being oppressed by the West, by the United States, and by Israel in the Middle East. President Obama's view was that the United States of America and the West were highly prejudiced in the way they had dealt with Islam, and the Islamic nations of the world. He went on to say that this status quo was going to end. How right he was. In the second half of the Cairo speech, Barack Obama detailed how this status quo was going to come crashing down. Firstly, Obama promised to withdraw US forces from Iraq, no matter what the consequence, and this he has now done. We all know, and much has been written, about the subsequent carnage caused by the rise of ISIS, all directly linked to this removal of US power. Secondly, Obama promised to keep U.S. troops in Afghanistan. U.S. troops remain there to this day, all be it with no clearly defined mission or objectives. But then, finally, came the real crux of his speech, what the whole thing had been building up to: the Israeli-Palestinian problem. This was the point, right at the very beginning of Barack Obama's new presidency when the alarm bells truly began to ring. In Obama's vision for resolving the Israeli - Palestinian issue, he felt it necessary to first state his own views on the root causes of this most ideologically intractable of conflicts. In Cairo, Obama proclaimed that Israel was created as a modern nation only as a direct consequence of the Jewish Holocaust. Obama therefore believed that Israel as a nation was not established out of respect for any legitimate Jewish historical national rights to the land. Israel came to be, in Obama's view, because the West and America essentially felt sorry for them, all because of the holocaust. Obama was suggesting that Israel was granted nationhood in 1948, essentially because the world pitied the Jews. The ever so subtle implication of this is that Israel, therefore, has no legitimate historical claim to that land, that they shouldn't be there, but that it was given out of a "guilt" complex. Worse still, and following logically on from this, was the silent implication that the Palestinians are in fact the real indigenous people of the land, which is currently unjustly occupied by the modern State of Israel. Obama was arguing that Israel was created by a modern day form of colonialism, which was motivated by a western post-Holocaust guilt complex, and that therefore the real victims in this whole process are not Jews, but Palestinians. It is a horrendous and thoroughly perverse reinterpretation of history. It makes the guilty out to be the innocent and the innocent out to be the guilty. It is anti-Semitic to its core. Rather than right the wrongs of the holocaust, this ideology will surely see its fulfillment in another Jewish holocaust yet future, because it makes Jews and Zionism out to be "fair game" for the attacks leveled against them: "1948 was a great injustice, therefore the attacks on Israel and the Jews who live there are wholly legitimate" or so this twisted line of thought goes. This is exactly what we see today. This is Obama's legacy to the world. It is Barack Obama's reinterpretation of history, revealed at Cairo in 2009, which has now been taken on by the international community. It will eventually become the ideological backbone for all future Jewish persecution. It will stand against Obama for all time as a lasting legacy of shame. In just ten minutes in Cairo, Barack Obama undermined the entire existence and future legitimacy of the modern state of Israel, and undoubtedly laid the seeds for their coming persecution. He depicted the creation of the modern state of Israel in 1948 as an epic historical mistake. In Obama's narcissistic and messiah complex driven psyche, at the very end of his term in office, he even came to see himself as the man of the hour, attempting to remedy the historical aberration that is called "Israel," at the viciously anti-Semitic United Nations. Resolution 2334, passed on 23rd December, the failed Paris Peace Conference of January 15th, and talk of a possible further UN Security Council resolution before he left office, now fortunately come to nought, should be seen in this light. Obama wanted to divide the land of Israel in favor of the Palestinians. That is what we saw manifesting in the foreign policy of the United States in the final weeks Obama's time in power, something I believe he was working towards from the very beginning. That this did not come about and was thwarted is a great answer to pray, and a blessing. It is also potentially a reprieve. The United States has been standing on the very edge of a gaping abyss, and has only just stepped back from it with the ending of Obama's time in power. All hopes are that the damage caused by Resolution 2334 can now be negated by the Trump Administration. Many nations and powerful empires have tried to destroy tiny Israel throughout time. The Egyptians tried, as did the Philistines, the Assyrian Empire, the Persian Empire, followed by the Greek Empire; then the Romans tried, and the Byzantines, who were followed by the Spanish Empire and then the Crusaders; concluding with the Nazis and most recently the Soviets. The United States, some would say, almost came to be numbered amongst them this past week. All these Empires now share one thing in common; they have all been erased from existence, gone forever. They were all utterly destroyed. Yet little Israel still remains, now a nation increasingly alone, once again surrounded by wolves. At the end of it all, when all the nations of the world have fallen in the wake of the destruction caused by Antichrist, two things will be true. Israel will still be standing because God guarantees her survival, and a Jewish King of the line of David and of the Tribe of Judah, will have come to rule all the nations of this world. His name is Jesus, the Mashiach Nagid, the Messiah, the King. That day fast approaches. "Why do the nations conspire and the peoples plot in vain? The kings of the earth rise up and the rulers band together against the Lord and against his anointed, saying, "Let us break their chains and throw off their shackles." The One enthroned in heaven laughs; the Lord scoffs at them. He rebukes them in his anger and terrifies them in his wrath, saying, "I have installed my king on Zion, my holy mountain." One of the outcomes of Barack Obama's parting shot at Israel in December-when the UN Security Council passed Resolution 2334, condemning Israeli communities built in Judea and Samaria, and the U.S. abstained from the vote-is that Israel is still in a precarious place in the international community. Dotting the land of Israel are thousands of Jewish homes, built in the ancestral land, beginning in about 1977. The initial building phase began under the premiership of Menachem Begin, perhaps the most biblical of Israel's prime ministers. Of Israel's seven million Jewish residents, almost a half-million live in Judea/Samaria ("the West Bank"). Always, American governments have taken a dim view of Israel building in the territories. (As an aside, I am hopeful that the incoming Trump Administration will adopt a new paradigm and jettison the dangerous "land for peace" formula; however, don't expect that Trump or his son-in-law, Jared Kushner, disagree with the two-state solution. We'll see.) Especially under prime ministers like Benjamin Netanyahu, Israel has built in the territories and, let's be honest, they've done it to minimize the possibility of a future Palestinian state. Such a state would have a Swiss-cheese topography, with one Arab town smack-dab next to a Jewish town. In other words, unworkable. The Left rages at anyone who questions land-for-peace, but it is legitimate to ask, as I do, why the Palestinians deserve a state. They have been murdering Jews for generations and at this moment show no capacity for living in peace. Recently, the Knesset gave initial approval for the so-called Regulation Bill, which would make legal around 2,500 "unauthorized" settlements that had been built on private Palestinian land. The government would offer compensation to the Arab land owners. It isn't even a foregone conclusion that the Knesset would pass such a bill; the bill will be met with real force by its opponents. Critics allege that this amounts to an annexation of the West Bank. I'm all for that. The time is now for bold, new thinking. A quarter-century of murder of Jews is not acceptable. To my view, the Palestinians' numerous opportunities to behave in a civilized manner have long since passed. All this is why the U.S. abstention from the UN vote raises the possibility that Jewish residents in Judea/Samaria could be tried as criminals in international court. The International Criminal Court looms over Israel on this point. Coincidentally (I say that tongue-in-cheek), Netanyahu is now under a corruption investigation. By hook or crook, no pun intended, his enemies and the enemies of what might be called the Trump Doctrine. Where this all plays out no one knows. The future will continue to be a test of wills. The evil of Obama is pitted directly against the righteous cause of the Jewish people, in the Land of Israel. What a glorious time to be alive!

Inspired by the inauguration of U.S. President Donald J. Trump, the leaders of Europe's main anti-establishment parties have held a pan-European rally aimed at coordinating a political strategy to mobilize potentially millions of disillusioned voters in upcoming elections in Germany, the Netherlands and France. Appearing together in public for the first time, Marine Le Pen, leader of the French National Front, Frauke Petry, leader of the Alternative for Germany (AfD), Geert Wilders, leader of the Dutch Party for Freedom (PVV), Matteo Salvini, leader of Italy's Northern League and Harald Vilimsky of Austria's Freedom Party gathered on January 21 at a rally in Koblenz, Germany, where they called on European voters to participate in a "patriotic spring" to topple the European Union, reassert national sovereignty and secure national borders. The two-hour rally was held under the banner of the Europe of Nations and Freedom (ENF), a group established in June 2015 by Members of the European Parliament from nine counties to oppose European federalism and the transfer of political power from voters to unelected bureaucrats in Brussels, the de facto capital of the European Union. Referring to the June 2016 decision by British voters to leave the European Union, and the rise of President Donald Trump in the United States, Le Pen said: "We are living through the end of one world, and the birth of another. We are experiencing the return of nation-states. 2016 was the year the Anglo-Saxon world woke up. 2017, I am sure, will be the year in which the peoples of the European continent rise up." Wilders added: "The world is changing. America is changing. Europe is changing. It started last year with Brexit, yesterday there was Trump and today the freedom-loving parties gathered in Koblenz are making a stand. The genie will not go back into the bottle again, whether you like it or not. The people of the West are awakening. They are throwing off the yoke of political correctness." Polls indicate that the political sea change engulfing the United States is fueling support for anti-establishment parties in Europe. In addition to anger over eroding sovereignty, a growing number of Europeans are rebelling against decades of government-imposed multiculturalism, politically correct speech codes and mass migration from the Muslim world. In France, a new Ipsos poll for Le Monde shows that Marine Le Pen is now poised to win the first round of the French presidential election set for April 23, 2017. Le Pen has between 25% and 26% support among likely voters, compared to 23% and 25% for François Fillon of the center-right Republicans party. In December 2016, Fillon held a three-point lead over Le Pen. In the Netherlands, Geert Wilders is now leading polls ahead of the general election scheduled for March 15, 2017. The PVV has the support of between 29% and 33% of the electorate. By contrast, support for the ruling People's Party for Freedom and Democracy (VVD) has fallen to between 23% and 27%. In Germany, the anti-immigration Alternative for Germany party (AfD) has become the third-largest party the country, with support at around 15% percent. The AfD had gained representation in ten of Germany's 16 state parliaments, and the party hopes to win seats in the Federal Parliament (Bundestag) for the first time in national elections set for September 24, 2017. Europe's establishment parties, far from addressing the concerns of ordinary voters, have tried to silence dissent by branding naysayers as xenophobes, Islamophobes and neo-Nazis. In Germany, for example, Vice Chancellor Sigmar Gabriel, in an underhanded effort to silence criticism of the government's open door migration policy, called for German intelligence to begin monitoring the AfD. The German Interior Ministry is now proposing to establish a "Defense Center against Disinformation" (Abwehrzentrum gegen Desinformation) to combat "fake news." Critics have described the proposed center as a "censorship monster" aimed at silencing dissenting opinions. Enter Trump. If sufficient numbers of European voters are inspired by the political transformation taking place in the United States, the balance of European political power may begin to shift in favor of the anti-establishment parties. European political and media elites will therefore surely view Trump as a threat to the Europe's established political order. In a January 16 interview with the Times of London and Germany's Bild, Trump said he believed that Brexit is "going to end up being a great thing." He added that German Chancellor Angela Merkel made an "utterly catastrophic mistake by letting all these illegals into the country." In the same interview, Trump said that the NATO alliance "is very important to me" but he called it "obsolete" for failing to contain the threat posed to the West by Islamic terrorism. He also complained that some countries "don't pay what they should pay." Of the 28 countries in the alliance, only five -- Britain, Estonia, Greece, Poland and the United States -- meet the target of spending at least 2% of their GDP on defense. European commentators roundly criticized Trump for his comments and some accused the United States of being an "unreliable partner." European leaders repeated calls for a pan-European Army, a long-held goal of European federalists, which would entail an unprecedented transfer of sovereignty from European nation states to the European Union. Gatestone Institute Chairman Ambassador John R. Bolton, has provided much-needed context to the debate over NATO. In a recent article for the Boston Globe, he wrote: "NATO has taken intense criticism this year from Donald Trump, evoking howls of outrage from foreign-policy establishment worthies. The worthies know, however, that Trump is simply using his bullhorn to say what they themselves say more quietly: NATO's decision-making is often sclerotic; its mission has not been adequately redefined after the Cold War; and too many members haven't carried their weight financially or militarily for long years.... Trump has emphasized that his complaints are intended to encourage debate about improving and strengthening NATO, not sundering it. The debate is well worth having." Bolton added: "In many respects, France and Germany are proving they do not understand the meaning of Brexit. They are reflexively, almost religiously, following exactly the path that has provoked the EU's current existential crisis: every failure of closer integration by the 'European project' leads only to calls for more integration. Whether it is establishing a currency without a government; pledging military capabilities that collectively the EU never achieves; or pretending to an EU role in world affairs that no one outside of Brussels takes seriously, 'more Europe' is always the answer."

Questions pour in these days from those who have consistently read these commentaries over the years. Although the questions are all phrased differently to one extent or the other, the tone and thrust are the same. Those who are serious students of Bible prophecy -particularly from the pre-Trib perspective- view geopolitical matters taking place at present as profoundly significant. They see the red, flashing lights of alert. "What do you think this means?" The queries most all ask this in one form or another. Developments last week in Paris, France stirs intensive interest among those who observe the times in light of Bible prophecy. Israel being at the heart of the matters involved generates the inquiries I receive almost hourly. I am in complete agreement with those who email me. Things transpiring at the moment is like seeing the flashing, red lights at train-tracks you might be about to cross. Imminent danger exists. -Time to pay close attention! Seventy-two nations -most overtly antagonistic to Israel- gathered during the past, inaugural week, ostensibly to determine the Jewish nation's fate. Their intent, in the opinion of many who are observant Bible prophecy students, was to force Israel into giving up all claims to the land upon which the nation resides. Intervention by the incoming Trump Administration seems to have preempted full implementation of the anti-Israel agenda. Great Britain also added its conference-dampening input. Israel, with its constant vigilance against ever-present attempts to destroy the nation reportedly has managed to thwart much of its U.N. enemy efforts in the Paris conference matter. United Nations globalists' agenda, under the Resolution 2334 rubric they want to establish, is to declare Israel an occupier -the oppressor of the Palestinians who -the Israel antagonists say- have legitimate claim to the land. While angry losers in America's presidential election continue to sniffle and sob, and in some cases rage, that Donald J. Trump is illegitimate occupier of Obama's White House, the U.N. Israel haters go through their own sort of whining and moaning. We have been witness to a constant diatribe of last days antics, orchestrated by Satan himself, I'm convinced, in order to try to rearrange the geopolitical and socio-economic landscape. Pope Francis, in meeting with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, intruding into the Israeli-Palestinian land for peace thrust by the U.N., also, I believe, made observable Satan's hand being inserted into the religious arena in his attempt to set the international stage for Antichrist's eventual rule. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called the Paris peace conference, devised by the Palestinian Authority and hosted by France, a "fraud." He said the conference was "anti-Israel." He warned the phony summit "will further lead to the adoption of anti-Israel positions." Critics of the so-called Paris summit for peace between Israel and the Palestinians say that the conference and U.N. R2334 constituted an effort to lock Israel into the borders as they were in 1949. A document produced as a result of the meetings might, it was feared, have meant that Israel would have no claim to the Temple Mount, Mount Olivet, and all other of the sites revered as holy by Jews and Christians. Such a document would, it was thought, be designed to give the territory to the new Palestinian state if the so-called two-state solution comes to fruition. Representatives of Israel weren't part of the conference. Netanyahu has vowed to ignore anything coming out of the "summit." It remains to be seen what will be the ramifications of this attempted globalist grab in Middle East power politics. Immediately upon release of information about R2334, U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry made his now infamous, obviously anti-Israel statement as part of his speech. Kerry said that Israel could be either Jewish or Democratic, it cannot be both. The Trump Administration will undoubtedly have much to say in changing America's course as stated by Kerry. However, the secretary of state's utterly audacious declaration thus laid out for the world to see the fact that the Obama Administration views Israel as an oppressive regime intent upon treating Palestinians cruelly if the Jewish state doesn't go along with allowing the Palestinians all they want and deserve. Ignoring all the atrocities and terrorism spawned on a daily basis by enemies who are vowed that they will destroy Israel, Kerry went on to imply America would recommend punitive repercussions for Israel's refusal to make peace under terms of the Paris meetings. Even though the conference in France seems to have been neutralized in large part, such statements by America's (now former) top representative on the world diplomatic stage raises red flags -and sets those red lights flashing to be sure. The thoughts of students of Bible prophecy immediately go to Genesis chapter 12 about those who bless Israel and those who curse Israel. The cogitations carom around within the spiritually-attuned gray matter. Zechariah chapter 12 and 14 and Joel 3:2 and many other prophetic passages involving God's pronouncements about Israel at the end of the age leap at us. The red lights flash brightly. There are no more powerful signals to be found in Scripture on the nearness of Christ's return at Armageddon following the seven-year Tribulation period. We know, according to God's Word, too, that Christ will call all believers into Heaven at least seven years before His Second Advent at the time of Armageddon. Israel, the false peace process -all nations turned against God's chosen nation -these are flashing, red lights to be sure. However, my sense is that like the Lord's obvious Intervention into so much of the globalist agenda, for the moment, God's mighty hand has again intervened in this matter of the deck being stacked in favor of the Palestinians against God's chosen people.

The Trump administration is undecided about relocating the U.S. Embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, a campaign promise that carries historical and symbolic significance to Israelis, Palestinians and the broader Middle East. On Monday, White House press secretary Sean Spicer said there are "no decisions" on relocating the embassy to Jerusalem, a move that previous Republican and Democratic presidents have also promised to do, but decided against to avoid taking sides over who controls the ancient and holy city. As President Donald Trump's administration decides whether to break that tradition, observers of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict say this president appears serious about moving the embassy, based on his consistent campaign rhetoric and his decision to pick David Friedman as ambassador to Israel. Friedman has opposed a two-state solution, and upon being nominated, said he looked forward to working "from the U.S. Embassy in Israel's eternal capital, Jerusalem," rather than Tel Aviv. "What's interesting is that many presidents have made this same promise during campaigns and failed to follow through," said Jonathan Schanzer, a scholar in Middle Eastern studies and vice president of research at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies. "This time, it looks like things may be different, given Trump's selection of Friedman as ambassador and the statements both of them have made," Schanzer told The Daily Signal in an interview. Because Jerusalem is a contested city, the U.S. Embassy's location in Tel Aviv, the commercial and cultural hub of Israel, has long been a diplomatic challenge for American and Israeli leaders. U.S. policy officially says the embassy should be moved to Jerusalem. A 1995 U.S. law passed by bipartisan margins and signed by President Bill Clinton declares Jerusalem to be Israel's capital and requires the embassy to be moved there. Yet since its passage, Clinton, and Presidents George W. Bush, a Republican, and Barack Obama, a Democrat, have chosen not to implement the move, using a presidential waiver every six months that the law allows for national security reasons. The latest waiver expires June 1, and it's unclear if Trump could move the embassy before then, experts say. Israel's parliament, Supreme Court and seat of government are already located in West Jerusalem, which is majority Jewish. Indeed, Israel is the only nation in the world where the U.S. doesn't keep an embassy in the host government's preferred capital. But in the 1967 war between Israel and its Arab neighbors, Israel took control and annexed East Jerusalem-which is predominantly Arab-and expanded the boundaries of what it calls its "eternal capital." The U.S. and most other countries have refused to recognize the annexation and kept their embassies in or around Tel Aviv. Moving the embassy to Jerusalem, experts say, could please Israeli Jews, who believe it would signal that the U.S. recognizes Israel's claim to the entirety of the city. It could also reassure the right-wing government of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu after the Obama administration allowed the adoption of a United Nations Security Council resolution that condemns Israel's settlement construction. For Palestinians and supporters in the Arab world, however, moving the embassy to Jerusalem would prejudge Palestinian claims to a capital in the city's east and supersede a final resolution to the conflict with Israel. In addition, the move could increase the risk of violence as Palestinians look to defend Jerusalem. "It would bolster Israel, the closest U.S. ally in the Middle East, but it also may make it harder for some Arab governments to openly cooperate with the U.S. on some security issues because it is likely to trigger a spasm of anti-American protests and riots," said Jim Phillips, an expert on the Middle East at The Heritage Foundation. Yousef Munayyer, a nonresident scholar at the Middle East Institute, fears that moving the embassy would taint the U.S. as a mediator in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. "Nonrecognition has been a pillar of U.S. peace process policy," Munayyer told The Daily Signal in an interview. "If that pillar crumbles, there will be a question of the U.S.' ability to uphold its credibility in carrying that out. When you combine that with Israel's recent settlement activity, it's impossible to see how these things make prospects for a peaceful resolution more likely." Schanzer counters that if the Trump administration were to move the U.S. Embassy, it would likely relocate it to West Jerusalem-which has been a part of Israel since its inception and would continue to be under any realistic peace deal. So, Schanzer says, such a move should not limit negotiations of a peace deal even if East Jerusalem is eventually ceded to the Palestinians as their capital. "There is no reason why you couldn't still negotiate a peace plan," Schanzer said. "After all, moving an embassy does not change any of the core issues in the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. These are still bilateral issues that have to be resolved."

Approximately half a million women marched on Washington, D.C. to protest losing the election, the new President Donald Trump, and the possibility of losing the right to kill their own babies in the womb. www.womensmarch.com spoke volumes of what the media neglected to report. The sponsors included Planned Parenthood, the Human Rights Campaign, and the George Soros-funded moveon.org. The list of partners looked like a who's who of anti-American activists and included the Communist Party USA, Democratic Socialists of America, Council on American Islamic Relations, Democratic Party groups, and the National Education Association (you know, the ones who teach our children in public schools). The website says that in light of the election results, these groups are "hurt and scared." The website clothes these groups' anti-American actions in human rights, equity, and social justice. This was about all the groups who oppose traditional morality and justice by the law. Many of them openly advocate the overthrow of the Republic. Interesting that Muslim women, the most oppressed in the world by their own theocratic system, participated side by side with the very people their religion says to kill-homosexuals. The website says, "We support the advocacy and resistance movements that reflect our multiple and interesting identities"--In other words, rebellion against the US. They are united by their hate of America. In the end, it's all about the possibility that the Trump administration will defund Planned Parenthood, overturn elements of the socialist health care law that fund abortion, and that a Trump-appointed Supreme Court will overturn Roe v. Wade. A star-studded Hollywood cast of left wing communists adorned the stage shouting vulgarities about and sexually explicit insults at President Trump while the crowd cheered in agreement. It was hardly a lady's forum. Many were wearing hats that represented vaginas. The entire event showed a tremendous lack of respect-not only for our country, our incredible form of government, but for the women themselves. Quite frankly, it was an embarrassing travesty to see grown women behave in such a degrading fashion. Many of these groups say they are against hate, but they are saying hateful things about those with whom they disagree. They say they are "hurt and scared." To them, this excuses their hateful ways. But this is a sad state of affairs. First, they are being used by those forces that seek to destroy America and her freedoms. But even more, they do not know the love of God. 1 John 4:18 says, "There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear: because fear has torment. He that fears is not made perfect in love." 2 Timothy 1:7 says, "For God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." There is no greater indication that these people are tormented and need the love of God than their actions at that women's march. Torment, fear, lack of a sound mind-may the Lord show us how to reach them.

Then Simon Peter, having a sword, drew it and struck the high priest's servant, and cut off his right ear. The servant's name was Malchus. -John 18:10 In the flurry of activity in the Garden of Gethsemane, very few noticed the last miracle in the earthly ministry of Jesus. He healed the ear of Malchus, which Peter had cut off with a sword. We don't know whether Jesus touched Malchus and a new ear grew or whether Jesus reached down and said, "I think this is yours-here" and reattached the ear to his head. I don't say this with irreverence; I simply don't know how Jesus healed him. Whatever the case, the high priest's servant got his ear back. We don't read in any of the Gospels, however, that Malchus thanked the Lord. But it's interesting to note that the last miracle of Jesus was healing someone who had come to arrest Him. Jesus was still caring for individuals. In the book of Philippians, we are told that Jesus emptied Himself. He "made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant" (2:7). But what did He empty Himself of? He certainly didn't lay aside His deity, but He did lay aside some of its privileges. And one of the privileges that would have been afforded Him would have been angelic deliverance. But Jesus would not take hold of that because of the necessity of paying the price for our sin. We may all come to face Gethsemanes in our lives, if you will. For Jesus, Gethsemane was a time of difficulty, of hardship. It was a time when He had to surrender to the will of the Father, knowing that was the right thing to do. You may come to experiences in life that are similar, when you don't understand why God is allowing a certain thing. You don't know what's ahead. But you can trust your unknown future in the hands of a known God.
