The Pro-America Pro-Israel Trump Era Begins - By Kit R. Olsen - http://www.raptureready.com/2017/01/29/the-pro-america-pro-israel-trump-era-begins-by-kit-r-olsen/
President Donald J. Trump's inaugural address on January 20, 2017 strategically hit upon points that the Judeo-Christian population of the United States and the world have been yearning to hear. His no holds barred message was like no other inaugural speech given by a U.S. president. Unlike his failed predecessor, Barack Hussein Obama, President Trump immediately called out Islamic terrorism for what it is: "Radical Islamic terrorism." In another highlight of his speech he pointed out this very important fact: For too long, a small group in our nation's Capital has reaped the rewards of government while the people have borne the cost. Washington flourished-but the people did not share in its wealth. Politicians prospered-but the jobs left, and the factories closed. The establishment protected itself, but not the citizens of our country. Their victories have not been your victories; their triumphs have not been your triumphs; and while they celebrated in our nation's capital, there was little to celebrate for struggling families all across our land. President Trump also brought Almighty God into his inaugural address. He stated that the United States "will be most importantly protected by God." He finished his speech with these words: "God bless you and God bless America." At long last we have a president who is believably for the people and by the people; a president who places America's well being, prosperity and safety first. A president who has publicly brought the true God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob back into the American dialogue. This country is clearly divided; one group is comprised of low-information gullible people who believe the obnoxious leftist lies, foolishly giving their loyalty to those who undermine freedom and prosperity-under the false narrative of "human rights." And another group that holds to the principles of the U.S. Constitution's law-abiding principles laid out by the Founding Fathers. Human rights should be respected on both sides; that does not mean anything goes for those who are not legally part of America or for those who (viciously) work to undermine the American way of life. The hatred generated by the intolerant left while they are having temper tantrums claiming they are "protesting" (rioting) for "tolerance" reveals their unhinged and psychotic temperaments. I understand firsthand the immigration process. I came here as an immigrant from Austria when I was a young child-legally. I had a green card for many years. My parents went through complicated red-tape bureaucracy to get here. We never once received handouts of any type, and certainly not from the U.S. government. My parents brought with them their professionalism and education. They became Americans while greatly contributing their knowledge and talents to America. Our family eagerly learned English and did not expect or demand special rights. We spoke our European languages only at home, never out in public. When we became American citizens each member of our family had to take oral and written tests in English. We worked hard for our privilege to become Americans. I applaud President Trump for immediately implementing an English only White House website. It's time people of all nations respected our culture and our English language. Unlike Obama and his extremist misfits, we need not apologize for being Americans and for holding to common sense values. The globalists are scurrying and scheming to see how they can destroy our new patriotic president and resume the intended destruction of this great nation. The coming years will continue to be a battle between globalism and patriotism; a battle between good and evil. The battle in the spiritual realm will peak to a very high crescendo; the battle on the tangible physical level will also greatly escalate-as the globalists desperately work to push their despotic will upon those who have rejected their dangerous tyrannical agendas. This is not a time to think that the enemies of God and freedom are going to retreat and stop working to implement their sinister plans. The media all around the world are part of the new world order cabal. I expect we will see continued outrageous lies and more "fake news" (invented news) dominate the press. President Trump will continue to be relentlessly attacked by these enemies of God and country. Every believer and every patriotic American must be vigilant and not take our U.S. Constitutional freedoms for granted. This is the time to pray like never before for God's continued protection for our country and for our president. Far too many people living in America (and around the world) have fallen for the globalist lies of bringing peace and harmony to the world by agreeing to break down borders and internationalizing all the nations. We know the Bible teaches there will be an overt one-world government. But we don't have to step aside and help it manifest. It is especially important at this time to share the gospel and Bible prophecy with others. On President Trump's first Monday in office he quashed U.S. participation in the (anti-U.S. sovereignty) Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) and placed a freeze on hiring federal workers, except for the military and necessary public safety and public health staff. He reinstituted an intermittent policy that prevents federal family-planning money from being sent to international organizations that discuss or perform abortion services. He also signed an executive order stating that the administration's official policy is "to seek the prompt repeal" of the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare), which has proven to be anything but affordable. It has been a terrible hardship on Americans. Of course that was the intention of the plan all along; it was designed to fail and usher in an even more draconian single-payer socialist "health" care system that would enable government control over every man, woman and child. Obama deliberately lied to the American people when he said, "If you like your doctor you can keep your doctor," Of course he did this to further his desired one world government Marxist agenda. Each day we will see President Trump swiftly implement policies that will benefit the American people. He is very savvy, exceptionally experienced and successful when it comes to taking on and completing complex projects. In just one short week in office he has done more for America than any other sitting president in American history (within that amount of time.) He is obviously working intensely to keep his promises to the American people. I don't see that he will slow down as he fully focuses his attention on taking our great country back from the globalist criminals. I see a very courageous man of great resolve and determination. President Trump's pro-America, pro-Israel policies will continue to drive the leftist media and the pompous globalists berserk. These anti-American, anti-Israel puppet masters and their puppets are working relentlessly to make it appear as if the majority of the people are against President Trump, trying to discredit him at every turn. Their propaganda is deeply entrenched in every form of media including social media, even creating fake people with fake anti-Trump narratives by using computer generated messages impersonating humans, to deliberately create an atmosphere of overwhelming anti-Trump opinions-all outright lies and deception. Just hours before leaving office on Friday January 20, former President Barack Hussein Obama quietly released $220 million to the Palestinian Authority; this is American taxpayer money that Republican members of Congress have been blocking because of the tyrannical record of the Palestinians. Obama just had to get in one last jab against Israel and the American people. But glory to God-the payment itself, Obama's gift to the enemies of Israel, has been frozen by the State Department under President Donald J. Trump. We can now breathe a great sigh of relief that the divisive lawless new world order "president" is no longer in the White House. And I thank God that we have a new pro-America, pro-Israel president. President Trump is not going to put up with the race baiting, the victimization mantras, the political bigotry, the incessant fear and scaremongering tactics used by the Democrats. He is not going to put up with the globalist rhetoric by the sold-out establishment Republicans or any other new world order lackeys. Our new president is not going to be intimidated by the incessant lies aided and abetted by the abusively biased and corrupt media. "Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!" (Isaiah 5:20) President Trump is already proving that he will fight for America's sovereignty, as well as Israel's. A stronger America is a stronger Israel. I expect he will soon greet Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu with open arms at the White House and treat him with tremendous respect. We can also breathe a great sigh of relief regarding the future appointment of Supreme Court judges by President Trump. He has already essentially stated that it will be someone whose ideology is to abide by the rule of law and the Constitution of the United States. Now we can rest assured that the vacancy left by Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia will not be replaced by a liberal activist, which would have been very bad for our country. God has shown us His mercy. Nevertheless we must be wise as serpents and gentle as doves (Matthew 10:16), and be aware daily of the escalating deception and malfeasance, the wickedness in high places: "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places" (Ephesians 6:12). In an exclusive interview with The Brody File on Friday, January 27, President Donald Trump said that persecuted Christians will be given priority when it comes to applying for refugee status in the United States. "We are going to help them," President Trump told CBN News. "They've been horribly treated. Do you know if you were a Christian in Syria it was impossible, at least very tough to get into the United States? If you were a Muslim you could come in, but if you were a Christian, it was almost impossible and the reason that was so unfair, everybody was persecuted in all fairness, but they were chopping off the heads of everybody but more so the Christians. And I thought it was very, very unfair." Now we have a president who will place Christian refugees first in line. In my newest book, Israel's Guaranteed Future Glory, I have documented that the former Obama Administration repeatedly denied Christian refugees from Syria and other nations from entering the United States. The U.S. resettled 2,192 Syrian refugees in 2015, according to the federal database for refugee resettlement." Here is the breakdown of Syrian refugees by religion: 2,149 Muslims (98 percent) - including 2,089 Sunni, eight Shiite. 31 Christians (1.4 percent). Two atheists. Six Zoroastrians. Two Bahai. One "other." One listed no religious affiliation. With our newly elected president we can see the dawn of a new era in America (and the world) for which so many faithful Christians and Jews have prayed. "God shed His grace on thee," the famous words from the classic song "America the Beautiful"-ring true today. God has shed His grace on America. How Bible prophecy in relation to Israel will specifically unfold now that we have a pro-Israel, pro-America president will be fascinating to watch. A point to keep in mind is this: When the one-world government of Daniel 7:23 comes to power it will become obvious that the Roman type of government never died. At some point it will break into ten divisions and join the Antichrist in ruling the world (Daniel 7:24). Later, in the middle of the Tribulation the Antichrist will take total control. Three of the ten kings (nations) who hinder the Antichrist during the first half of the Tribulation will succeed in putting the Antichrist to death, but his "death" is not permanent. The entire world will be shocked when through Satan's power, the Antichrist is resuscitated back to life. It is then that he will go into the temple of God in Jerusalem and in no uncertain terms declare himself to be God (as prophesied in 2 Thessalonians 2:4-5). Many commentators have speculated that the United States has no place in Bible prophecy. I say, think again. It is possible, and conceivable that one of the three kings (nations) that reject and do not go along with the one world order (government) and ultimately the Antichrist-could be the United States of America. We can see glimpses of that already with the new direction President Trump is taking our country. According to Daniel 7, the civil governments of three of the kings (nations) will be destroyed by the Antichrist after he is resuscitated by Satan's power. (But all true believers will have been taken up to heaven in the Rapture by then.) "And as for the ten horns, out of this kingdom shall ten kings arise: and another shall arise after them; and he shall be diverse from the former, and he shall put down three kings." (Daniel 7:24) Be sure your seatbelts are fastened. It is going to be a wild and tumultuous ride to fend off the elitist powerbrokers who are hell-bent on destroying the United States and Israel. I am including below a list that gives just some of the President Donald J. Trump's plans for America (which he intends to initiate as soon as possible.) He is getting off to an outstanding start. And be of good cheer, Jesus has overcome the world (John 16:33). Making America Great Again Immigration

Education President Trump's proposal calls for using $20 billion in federal funds to incentivize the states to start (or expand their existing) school choice programs. From there, "if the states collectively contribute $110 billion of their own education budgets toward school choice," said Trump, "on top of the $20 billion in federal dollars, that could provide $12,000 in school choice funds to every K-12 student who today lives in poverty." "The money will follow the student," he said. "That means the student will be able to attend the public, private, charter, or magnet school of their choice - and each state will develop its own system that works for them." President Trump reportedly has added home schools to the proposal Is This Really Happening??? - A.V. Rauf - http://bibleprophecyfortoday.com/2017/01/28/is-this-really-happening/
It has been said that the new administration in charge has accomplished more in one week than the last eight years combined. Of course, it depends on your view point. However, from a Biblical perspective, I just might have to agree. Newly appointed Director of the Central Intelligence Agency, said Christians need to pray, fight, and understand that "Jesus Christ our Savior is truly the only solution for our world." That's a very bold statement if you ask me. I am not stating that the government at any level is to usurp its authority to advance the Gospel of Jesus Christ. History shows what happened as a result of that when Constantine declared Christianity the supreme religion. Of course, the Kingdom of God is not of this earth, but one day it will reign on earth during the Millennial Reign of Christ. Needless to say, I do highly support of individuals who are in submission to Christ holding key positions within the government. Amen to that! As I have mentioned before, regardless of who is in authority , we need to pray. Ultimately, if our prayers don't affect them, something else will. I have heard before that principalities operate through personalities. But that is another message for another day. I Timothy 2:1-3-I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; 2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. 3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Although it can be said that President Trump may lack governing experience and may not have any national security experience, what is interesting to note is that he has quickly assembled good Bible-believing people to assist him and these individuals are advising him. The Vice President himself is a professing Born-Again believer. Just this week, and for the very first time in the history of the Annual March for Life in Washington, D.C. , a vice president of the United States, Mike Pence, spoke at the demonstration. Proverbs 29:2-2 When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn. The purpose of this post is not necessarily to elaborate on this transition and the strong influence of Biblical values that are held by many of President Trump's advisors. That in itself is a answered prayer. You see, We have witnessed the hand of God on this election. God's will was for Donald Trump to be the 45th President, despite the fact that ALL efforts to stop him failed. I have also mentioned in regards to Bible prophecy, and the the study of eschatology that Jerusalem will become the world's focal point or center of attention. Ezekiel 5:5-Thus saith the Lord God; This is Jerusalem: I have set it in the midst of the nations and countries that are round about her. Joel 3:2-I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land. Zechariah 12:1-3-The burden of the word of the Lord for Israel, saith the Lord, which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him. 2 Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem. 3 And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it. President Trump's plans to move the U. S. embassy to Jerusalem, means Trump agrees with God, and we know that Jerusalem belongs to God's chosen people. Could it be that before the Rapture of the church, God Almighty wants the world to know that Jerusalem belongs to Israel, His chosen people? If so, has President Trump the man chosen to do this? Also, it must emphatically be stated that according to Holy Bible all the nations of the world will come up against Israel in the end times. Let us also consider that after the Rapture of the Church, governments around the world will have no Christian presence. Israel will not have any Christian ally nations. May I suggest that even the United States will not have a Christian presence. Can the Rapture of the Church indeed be the harbinger toward God's appointed time of dealing directly with Israel and the issue of Jerusalem?? Let me present to you a rather interesting scenario that could possibly come to fruition. The doctrine of the Rapture has come under much attack as of late and it can be said that is a rather controversial one. The Rapture of the Body of Christ clearly ends the dispensation of the church, or the Church Age. As a result, with a new dispensation will begin immediately. This new one is called the Seventieth week of Daniel, or the Time of Jacob's trouble, or the seven year tribulation. These terms are all for the Nation of Israel and Jews and not the church. Jeremiah 30:1-7--The word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord, saying, 2 Thus speaketh the Lord God of Israel, saying, Write thee all the words that I have spoken unto thee in a book. 3 For, lo, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will bring again the captivity of my people Israel and Judah, saith the Lord: and I will cause them to return to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they shall possess it. 4 And these are the words that the Lord spake concerning Israel and concerning Judah. 5 For thus saith the Lord; We have heard a voice of trembling, of fear, and not of peace. 6 Ask ye now, and see whether a man doth travail with child? wherefore do I see every man with his hands on his loins, as a woman in travail, and all faces are turned into paleness? 7 Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob's trouble, but he shall be saved out of it. Romans 11:1-5-I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. 2 God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew. Wot ye not what the scripture saith of Elias? how he maketh intercession to God against Israel saying, 3 Lord, they have killed thy prophets, and digged down thine altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life. 4 But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal. 5 Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace. Romans 11:25-32-For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. 26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: 27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins. 28 As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the father's sakes. 29 For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance. 30 For as ye in times past have not believed God, yet have now obtained mercy through their unbelief: 31 Even so have these also now not believed, that through your mercy they also may obtain mercy. 32 For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all. Again, we need to understand that the above-mentioned verses relate to Israel, but as I said, the rapture begins the dispensation of the "Seventieth Week" which is for Israel. Perhaps one of the biggest reasons that so many oppose anything to do with the rapture and tribulation start is because it is all about judgement, and believe me, no one wants to talk about judgment. Furthermore, in the many churches that have been deceived by Replacement Theology, there is apparently an outright rejection of any future fulfilment for the Jews. When the tribulation period begins, many will turn against God in a blaspheming rage of bitter hatred. Emptiness of spirit and soul will be magnified and multiplied. DOESN"T ANYBODY SEE THAT THIS IS ALREADY BEGINNING TO HAPPEN??? Whether or not the current president is re-elected, we have four years that can possibly become eight years under the current administration. If you recall that I mentioned earlier in this post that many of the newly appointed advisors for the president are Bible-believing Christians. So at the Rapture of the Church.........they too will be gone. Who or what will fill that void in the Oval Office only remains to be seen!!! During his very first week in office, President Trump has begun to own up to what he said he would do. Now comes word that the moving of the U.S. Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem may will not happen right away. It is being reported that they are not going to move on Jerusalem for quite some time, because they want a peace deal in the Middle East which really is the top priority. Could this be the peace deal spoken of in Daniel chapter 9? If so, exactly who will confirm this Peace deal?? Daniel 9:24-27-24 Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy. 25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times. 26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined. 27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate. We shall find out very soon. The President is right to protect the homeland from Radical Islam - Joel C. Rosenberg -
https://flashtrafficblog.wordpress.com/2017/01/30/the-president-is-right-to-protect-the-homeland-from-radical-islam-but-this-executive-order-was-poorly-drafted-and-mishandled-it-can-should-be-fixed-then-trump-should-work-closely-with-our-mod/ But this Executive Order was poorly drafted and mishandled. It can & should be fixed. Then Trump should work closely with our moderate Muslim allies and seek the counsel of their leaders. President Trump triggered a firestorm of domestic and global confusion and protest over his new Executive Order issued on Friday. First let me say that I am grateful for an American Commander-in-Chief who finally recognizes the threat posed by followers of Radical Islam and is willing to take bold and decisive action to protect the American people. There is a real and serious threat that ISIS or groups like it will try to launch massive terror attacks inside the territory of the United States. There are FBI investigations of ISIS in all 50 states, and the ISIS ideology is metastasizing like cancer, recruiting and radicalizing new ISIS loyalists and future terrorists inside the U.S. FLASHBACK: "Exclusive: US May Have Let 'Dozens' of Terrorists Into Country As Refugees" - ABC News headline, November 20, 2013 If such threats are not taken seriously, and dealt with firmly and effectively, Americans could be attacked without warning. That said, we must be honest: this Executive Order has been mishandled by the new administration. It is not a "Muslim Ban," as it is being portrayed by its critics. But it feels like one. It does not ban Muslims from the largest Islamic nations like Indonesia or India. It does not ban Muslims from our trusted Sunni Arab allies like Jordan and Egypt. It does not ban only Muslims - Christians, Zoroastrians, and other religious groups in these countries are also affected. The fact is, this Executive Order merely requires a temporary, several month delay of visitors to the United States - Muslim, Christian, or otherwise - from seven countries where Radical Islam and jihadi activity have been very serious. It also temporarily suspends the ability of refugees from such high-risk countries to enter the U.S. until the administration has more time to improve our vetting procedures. These are laudable goals. The problem is that this presidential directive was poorly drafted. It is being poorly executed. And it is being even more poorly communicated. As a result, damage is being done to America's reputation. In pursuit of defending America from Radical Islam, the administration has inadvertently handed the jihadists a talking point they can use to recruit and radicalize more people, that America is at war with all of Islam. This is not true, but to many in the Islamic world it feels true. This is dangerous. Changes to the Executive Order need to be made immediately. Changes to the White House's communications strategy need to be made as well. The last thing we should do in a hot war with the Islamic State and other jihadist forces is to alienate our moderate Muslim allies. But that's what is happening. What we should be doing is strengthening our alliances with friends like Jordan, Egypt, the Gulf States, Indonesia, and other Muslim countries who want to work with America. We should be listening to their leaders, getting their counsel, and finding ways to work together to confront and defeat a common enemy. The President has a strong national security and legal team around him. He can fix this. And he should. Here are a few suggestions: The President and his team would be wise admit they've made some mistakes here while defending their goals and objectives. Humility will go a long way in building trust with the American people and our allies. The administration can and should work hard to fix the document. It needs to be crystal clear, for example, that legal permanent residents of the U.S. (i.e., green card holders) are not affected. There has been a great deal of confusion about this matter. It needs to be clear why there is a 90 day ban on anyone coming from these seven particular countries (Iraq, Syria, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and Yemen) and not other countries. UPDATE: We do have an answer as to why the 7 countries were included. They were singled out as "countries of concern" by the Obama administration (some in 2011, then more in 2016). Due to the "threat of foreign fighters" trying to infiltrate the US, the Obama administration's Department of Homeland Security determined that people from these seven countries were NOT eligible for the "Visa Waiver Program." In other words, they would need visas, and thus vetting, before being allowed to visit the U.S. Why, for example, was Afghanistan left off the list when we have been at war with al Qaeda and the Taliban there since 9/11? Why was Saudi Arabia left off the list when Osama bin Laden was born and raised in Saudi, and 15 of the 19 hijackers on 9/11 were from Saudi? Why was Lebanon left off the list when Hezbollah, a major terrorist organization backed by Iran, has essentially created a country within a country in Lebanon? Why not Nigeria (home of Boko Haram) or Gaza (home of Hamas)? This is not to say each of these or other countries should be on the list - but the rationale for each country needs to be made clear by the administration. The administration should seek wise counsel and advice from a range of experts in and out of government to achieve the desired end: the protection of the American people and homeland. Hastiness isn't helpful. UPDATE: It would be helpful to know if all of the President's relevant Cabinet officers and senior advisors had been fully briefed on the Executive Order, had the time to study it carefully, and had been able to provide input, ask questions, and recommend clarifications. UPDATE: The New York Times is reporting that John Kelly, the Secretary of Homeland Security, learned the Executive Order was going into effect because he saw the news on TV, and that the White House "had not asked his department for a legal review of the order." UPDATE: The Times is also reporting that Defense Secretary James Mattis "did not see a final version of the order until Friday morning, only hours before Mr. Trump arrived to sign it at the Pentagon." UPDATE: "Mr. Mattis, according to administration officials familiar with the deliberations, was not consulted by the White House during the preparation of the order and was not given an opportunity to provide input while the order was being drafted," the Times reported. Are these reports accurate? If not, then shame on the Times. But if they are, they suggest the President is not making good use of the excellent team he has just brought on board. Let's find out the facts. The President would be wise to consider addressing the nation on television from the Oval Office. He could use the address to explain very carefully and thoroughly what the threat to the homeland is, and how best to deal with the problem. He could also use the address to answer people's questions and calm people's fears. The President needs to explain to the nation clearly and often that while the followers of Radical Islam do pose a grave threat to the American people and our allies, this does not mean that all Muslims are a threat, or that Islam itself is the threat. As I have explained before, the data indicate that upwards of 90% of Muslims do not hold violent views or seek to attack us. However, between 7% and 10% of Muslims tell pollsters that they do support suicide bombings and other forms of violence against "infidels." It is critical that our leaders make these distinctions and educate the public about the nature of the threat. We want the broader moderate Muslim world to be partners in defeating the dangerous actors in their midst. Yes, Mr. Trump called for such a ban during the campaign, and he was highly criticized for it by many people (myself included), and rightly so. Banning people from entering the U.S. based on their religious views would be both unconstitutional and morally repugnant. To be fair, it should be noted that Mr. Trump backed down and sought advice on how best to protect the country from the threats of violent jihadists trying to enter the homeland. Protecting the American people from all threats, foreign and domestic, is absolutely the most important job of the President of the United States. So is abiding by the American legal tradition of commonsense and fair play. The new President and his team need to remember that this is not just a "kinetic war," one fought with bullets and bombs. This is also a "war of ideas," an ideological battle fought for hearts and minds. We have seen some unforced errors on a matter of high national importance. They can and should be corrected and lessons should be learned. Winning the fight against Radical Islam will be a long and difficult mission. But with wise, humble and dedicated leadership - in Washington and around the world - we can prevail. The Lessons of Roosevelt's Failures - Caroline B. Glick -
http://www.jpost.com/Opinion/The-lessons-of-Roosevelts-failures-480065 The current media and left-wing uproar over the executive order US President Donald Trump signed on Saturday is extraordinary on many levels. Is U.S. President Donald Trump the new Franklin Delano Roosevelt? Does his immigration policy mimic Roosevelt's by adopting a callous, bigoted position on would-be asylum seekers from the Muslim world? At a press conference on June 5, 1940, Roosevelt gave an unspeakably cynical justification for his administration's refusal to permit the desperate Jews of Nazi Germany to enter the US. In Roosevelt's words, "Among the refugees [from Germany], there are some spies... And not all of them are voluntary spies - it is rather a horrible story but in some of the other countries that refugees out of Germany have gone to, especially Jewish refugees, they found a number of definitely proven spies." The current media and left-wing uproar over the executive order US President Donald Trump signed on Saturday which enacts a temporary ban on entry to the US of nationals from seven Muslim majority countries is extraordinary on many levels. But one that stands out is the fact that opponents of Trump's move insist that Trump is reenacting the bigoted immigration policies the US maintained throughout the Holocaust. The first thing that is important to understand about Trump's order is that it did not come out of nowhere. It is based on the policies of his predecessor Barack Obama. Trump's move is an attempt to correct the strategic and moral deficiencies of Obama's policies - deficiencies that empower bigots and fascists while disenfranchising and imperiling their victims. Trump's order is based on the 2015 Terrorist Travel Prevention Act. As White House spokesman Sean Spicer noted in an interview with ABC News' Martha Raddatz Sunday, the seven states targeted by Trump's temporary ban - Syria, Iraq, Sudan, Iran, Libya, Yemen and Somalia - were not chosen by Trump. They were identified as uniquely problematic and in need of specific, harsher vetting policies for refugee applications by former US president Barack Obama. In Iraq, Syria, Libya and Yemen, the recognized governments lack control over large swaths of territory. As a consequence, they are unable to conclude immigration vetting protocols with the US. As others have noted, unlike these governments, Turkish, Saudi Arabian and Egyptian officials have concluded and implement severe and detailed visa vetting protocols with US immigration officials. Immigrants from Somalia have carried out terrorist attacks in the US. Clearly there is a problem with vetting procedures in relation to that jihad-plagued failed state. Finally, the regimes in Sudan and Iran are state sponsors of terrorism. As such, the regimes clearly cannot be trusted to properly report the status of visa applicants. In other words, the one thing that the seven states have in common is that the US has no official counterpart in any of them as it seeks to vet nationals from those states seeking to enter its territory. So the US must adopt specific, unilateral vetting policies for each of them. Now that we know the reason the Obama administration concluded that visa applicants from these seven states require specific vetting, we arrive at the question of whether Trump's order will improve the outcome of that vetting from both a strategic and moral perspective. The new executive order requires the relevant federal agencies and departments to review the current immigration practices in order to ensure two things. First, that immigrants from these and other states are not enemies of the US. And second, to ensure that those that do enter the US are people who need protection. Trump's order requires the secretary of state and the secretary of homeland security to ensure that the new vetting processes "prioritize refugee claims made by individuals on the basis of religious-based persecution, provided that the religion of the individual is a minority in the individual's country of nationality." Under the Obama administration, the opposite occurred. Christians and Yazidis in Syria for instance, have been targeted specifically for annihilation by Islamic State and related groups. And yet, they have made up a tiny minority of visa recipients. According to Christian News Service, during 2016, the number of refugees from Syria to the US increased by 675%. But among the 13,210 Syrian refugees admitted to the US, only 77, or 0.5% were Christians and only 24, or 0.18%, were Yazidis. Similar percentages held in previous years. On the second issue, of blocking potential terrorists from entering the US, Trump's order calls for measures to be taken to ensure that those who ascribe to creeds that would endanger the lives of US citizens are barred from entering. Specifically, the order states, "The United States cannot, and should not, admit those who do not support the Constitution, or those who would place violent ideologies over American law. In addition, the United States should not admit those who engage in acts of bigotry or hatred (including 'honor' killings, other forms of violence against women, or the persecution of those who practice religions different from their own) or those who would oppress Americans of any race, gender, or sexual orientation." Whether or not the Obama administration's failure to give top priority to Christian and Yazidi refugees being targeted for genocide, enslavement and rape was driven by political considerations, the fact is that the current US refugee system makes it all but impossible for US officials to give priority to vulnerable minorities. As Nina Shea, director of the Hudson Institute's Center for Religious Freedom pointed out in an article in National Review in November 2015, the US has relied on the UN High Commissioner on Refugees to vet potential immigrants from these countries. The UNHCR accepts applications for resettlement primarily from people who reside in its refugee camps. Members of the Christian and Yazidi avoid UN camps because UN officials do not protect them. As Shea noted, human rights groups and media reports have shown that at UN camps, "ISIS, militias and gangs traffic in women and threaten men who refuse to swear allegiance to the caliphate." The situation repeats itself in European refugee centers. Shea noted that in Germany, for instance, due to Muslim persecution of non-Muslim refugees at refugee centers, "the German police union recommended separate shelters for Christian and Muslim groups." The UNHCR itself has not been an innocent bystander in all of this. To the contrary. It appears that the institution colludes with jihadists to keep persecuted Christians and other minorities out of the UN refugee system, thus dooming them to remain in areas were they are subjected to forms of persecution unseen since the Holocaust. Questioned by Shea, the UN High Commissioner for Refugees António Guterres said that he opposes the resettlement of persecuted Christians from Syria. Despite the fact that in 2011 Pope Francis acknowledged that Syrian Christians were being targeted for genocide, Guterres told Shea that he doesn't want Christians to leave Syria, because they are part of the "DNA of the Middle East." He added that Lebanon's former president asked him not to resettle the Christians. Invoking the Holocaust, in recent days US Jews have been among the most outspoken critics of Trump's executive order. Speaking to Britain's Independent, for instance, Mark Hetfield, the executive director of HIAS, the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society, slammed Trump's executive order as the "lowest point we've seen since the 1920s." Forward editor Jane Eisner wrote that Trump's move is immoral and un-American and that all Jewish organizations are morally required to stand up to his "anti-Muslim" policies. Writing at Vox.com, Dara Lind drew a direct connection between Trump's executive order and the Roosevelt administration's refusal to permit the Jews of Europe to flee to the US to escape annihilation in the Holocaust. This then brings us back to Roosevelt's immoral policies toward the Jews of Europe and to the question of who has learned the lessons of his bigotry. The American Jewish uproar at Trump's actions shows first and foremost the cynicism of the leftist Jewish leadership. It isn't simply that left-wing activists like Hetfield and Eisner cynically ignore that Trump's order is based on Obama's policies, which they didn't oppose. It is that in their expressed concerned for would-be Muslim refugees to the US they refuse to recognize that the plight of Muslims as Muslims in places like Syria and Iraq is not the same as the plight of Christians and Yazidis as Christians and Yazidis in these lands. The "Jews" in the present circumstances are not the Muslims, who are nowhere targeted for genocide. The "Jews" in the present circumstances are the Christians and Yazidis and other religious minorities, whom Trump's impassioned Jewish opponents and Obama's impassioned Jewish champions fail to defend. Trump's executive order is far from perfect. But in making the distinction between the hunters and the hunted and siding with the latter against the former, Trump is showing that he is not a bigot. Unlike his critics, he has learned the lessons of Roosevelt's moral failure and is working to ensure that the US acts differently today. Nearing Midnight: The Establishment Is Out to Get President Trump - Todd Strandberg - http://www.raptureready.com/category/nearing-midnight/
Donald Trump has an endless number of enemies. The liberal media hates him. Hollywood hates him. The academia crowd hates him. The Washington, D.C. government bureaucracy hates him. They are all doing their very best to sabotage Trump's presidency. This mob of cry babies has tried every imaginable tactic to stop Trump from taking office. Most of their efforts have had no legal ground on which to stand. When Rosie O'Donnell tweeted that martial law should be declared to block Trump from becoming president, the press blindly repeated her crazy idea with no comment on the negative consequences of such an insane suggestion. The Women's March that took place the day after President Trump's inauguration is solid proof that the people on the left are being consumed with madness. I think the organizers as well as the participants need to be checked to see if they have that brain eating amoeba in their skulls. The gathering was the most bazaar pointless event I've ever seen. One speaker after another endlessly compared Trump to the former leader of Nazi Germany. They said he is Hitler because he acts like Hitler, he does Hitler like things, and he has a Hitler agenda. Singer Ashley Judd gave this rambling bit of wisdom to the crowd, "I am not as nasty as a swastika painted on a pride flag and I did not know devils could be resurrected but I feel Hitler in these streets! Nazi's electro-conversion therapy! Gas chambers! Turning rainbows into suicide!" The most ironic thing about this entire display of deranged hysteria was having the hijab-clad Muslim, Linda Sarsour, as a speaker. Everything Ashley Judd mentioned in her rant was actually everything Islam espouses. What has me most concerned is the possibility that the establishment is moving to pin a stock market collapse on Trump. The economy has been on life support since the 2008 financial crisis. The Fed has kept the financial system stable by pumping in trillions of dollars. To trigger a crash all they need to do is stop printing new money. Another way financial chaos can be created is to simply start telling the truth about our nation's economic health. I've been tracking the national debt the past several months, and I've noticed we kept coming close to the $20 trillion milestone, but we never passed it. It's miraculous that Obama managed to balance the federal budget for the last four months. Up until then, we had been averaging a shortfall of $100 per month. This smoke and mirrors method of numbers crunching is very clear in the unemployed statistics. The press cheered when "Initial Claims" crashed to a 44 year low. However, it has now come to light as of last week that the continuing claims data showed over 700,000 more people have been claiming unemployment benefits prior to President Trump's election. The unemployment rate is at 4.7% because the Labor Department started counting part-time jobs as full-employment. If you sell more than $100 worth of stuff on Ebay each month, you're not considering jobless. The poor folks who gave up looking for employment are considered outside the workforce. There can be no doubt that in the coming months that the national debt is going to edge up, and unemployment numbers are going to better reflect reality. Then, the mainstream media will suddenly discover how bad things are in America. Even though all of this happened under Obama's watch, the goal is to have people think "Greater Depression," when they think "Donald Trump." The establishment has openly proclaimed their plan to defeat Trump through impeachment. Media Matters founder, David Brock, claims to have more than 20,000 hours of video, 289 candidate research books, and the largest available archive of Trump research in the Democratic Party. Brock launched a "Trump War Room," with a team of over 40 workers that will scrutinize everything Trump does for the goal of forcing him out of office. The guy that should have been examined for impeachable offenses is Barack Hussein Obama. The former president repeatedly overstepped his authority. The U.S. Constitution clearly states that Congress controls the spending of money. Just hours before Obama left office, he openly defied Congress by quietly releasing $221 million to the Palestinian Authority. Bookies are giving favorable odds that President Trump will soon find himself in a heap of trouble. The online betting site Paddy Power has placed the odds of Trump failing to complete his first term at 7 to 4. The odds of Trump getting impeached in the first six months stand at 4 to 1. The site doesn't have a good track record with Trump. Paddy Power prematurely paid out nearly a million dollars to those who betted in favor of a Hillary Clinton victory, a move that resulted in a $5 million loss for the site when she eventually lost. It has become quite amazing to see the magnitude of the hatred aimed at Trump. There is no other time in American history that can compare to this level of lunacy. People are almost foaming at the mouth over a man who has only been in office for a few days. If he were to suggest we bring back school prayer, this mob would have a collective brain aneurysm. I think the massive opposition against Trump is a strong indication that he has been set in place by God to fulfill His will for the last days. The devil and his minions may rage but the end result will show that the Lord is in total control of world events. If Trump is able to beat the odds, I think his triumph could be the peace and safety window that will occur before the Rapture. "Now, brothers, about times and dates we do not need to write to you, for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. While people are saying, 'Peace and safety,' destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape" (1 Thessalonians 5:1-3).
My Review of "Rapture Ready...Or Not?" Over the last 35 years, I have literally read hundreds of books on Bible Prophecy and End Time signs. I especially enjoy books on the Rapture, and I have read almost every Rapture-related book published. In all those years, devouring thousands of pages, and millions of words, I have not read a better book on the Rapture than, Rapture Ready...Or Not? Terry James might be physically blind, but he is spiritually sharp and well discerning beyond most authors. In "Rapture Ready...Or Not?" Terry has nailed the pre-trib Rapture, and removed any doubt what so ever about the Church going through the Tribulation. With great insight and Godly discernment, Terry explains with simple, yet profound words, why and how that he has come to believe the ways he does about the Rapture, the Tribulation, and the End Times scenario. I think after reading "Rapture Ready...Or Not?" you too will believe as Terry does, and be Ready for the Rapture like never before! - Randy Thomas - Publisher / Editor - Prophecy Update For more information and or to get your copy of "Rapture Ready...Or Not?" use this link: http://www.raptureready.com/terry/book35.html 2016 In Review: Christian Persecution In Crisis - http://www.prophecynewswatch.com/article.cfm?recent_news_id=974
Once again, 2016 has broken records for Christian persecution across the world. From terrorist attacks and mass killings to increasingly oppressive laws targeting Christians with imprisonment and excessive fines for practicing their faith, the wave of violence continues to swell. The atrocities of the Islamic State, the genocide committed by Boko Haram in Nigeria, hundreds of new church burnings in India and the 2016 Easter Sunday bombing in Lahore, Pakistan which killed 74 and injured 320 are all just a few examples of the violence and fear Christians around the world must endure each day. Several new studies were recently published that track the nature and extent of persecution using varying methodologies, but there is little doubt that the world is growing increasingly hostile to Christians. To gain a more accurate idea of the dangers faced by Christians, just this month Open Doors USA published its annual World Watch List of the 50 worst countries for Christian persecution. Both Gordon-Conwell's Center for the Study of Global Christianity and the Turin-based Center for Studies on New Religions have published their own annual reports on killings and persecutions of Christians which largely agree in quantitative terms. Though the exact totals diverge due to different data gathering methodology, all the research agrees that the trend, especially in the past three years, has seen an increase in persecution. Open Doors identifies 2016 as the worst year on record after steadily increasing violence since 2014. Though confirmed martyrdom cases total 1,200 deaths, this fails to account for thousands more in active combat zones such as Iraq, Syria and places in Africa where data is difficult to confirm. The Center for the Study of Global Christianity and Center for Studies on New Religions both offer a more liberal estimate of 27,000 Christians killed for their faith with an additional 63,000 Christians killed over tribal or territorial conflicts, primarily throughout Africa. North Korea once again tops the Open Doors' list (for the 16th consecutive year) as the most oppressive country for Christians, but Somalia is a close second. "If a Christian is discovered in Somalia, they are unlikely to live to see another day. Just the suspicion that someone is a Christian can lead to a rushed beheading," said Lisa Pearce, CEO of Open Doors UK and Ireland. Afghanistan, Pakistan, Sudan, Syria, Iraq, Iran, Yemen and Eritrea round out the top ten worst nations. The full list can be found here WWL 2016 with not only the ranking, but also individual analysis of each country. All the countries after North Korea in the top ten are majority Muslim countries and Islam is in fact the primary source of persecution in 35 out of the 50 countries found on the list. The total number of Christians facing high, very high or extreme levels of persecution is estimated at 215 million. In the world's largest democracy, Christianity has increasingly become a target of harsh new laws, violent mobs and systematic killing at the hands of Hindu nationalists. These Hindu nationalists use discrimination and non-violent oppression first on minority Christians, who are largely from the lower social castes, but have increasingly turned to church burnings and campaigns of murder of Dalits and other poor, Indian Christians. "This year there is a clear pattern of rising religious intolerance across the Indian sub-continent which affects many millions of Christians," said Lisa Pearce. Iran, coming in at number eight on the list, has refrained from the mass killings and mob violence seen in Pakistan, Syria, India and elsewhere, but has instead embarked on a campaign of social control of churches, arbitrary arrest and torture along with the widespread use of crippling fines for practicing Christian beliefs that amounts to a mass seizure of wealth. Although it may be easy for those who live in developed nations to forget or ignore the suffering taking place in distant lands, it is important to keep in mind the plight of our brothers and sisters in Christ. For the millions living in fear and worshiping in secret, the price of their faith can be very high indeed. So, take a moment to keep these persecuted Christians in your prayers, in your politics and consider supporting an aid organization trying to make a difference such as Open Doors. Daily Jot: Trump stand against terrorism exposes dangerous shadow government - Bill Wilson - www.dailyjot.com
The media frenzy and anarchist globalist visceral over President Donald Trump's executive orders limiting immigration, visas, and refugees from nations of known terrorist activities exposed something far more dangerous to the American Republic than the rights of non-citizens and illegal immigrants-the emergence of a possible Marxist Islamist shadow government. The former "president" issued a divisive, seditious, and inflammatory statement against Trump's orders and his mouthpiece, the Huffington Post, printed it. Trump even had to fire acting Attorney General, Sally Yates a holdover from the previous "president" until Trump's Attorney General is approved, for refusing to legally defend his executive orders. The office of the ex-"president," whose policies and legacy were soundly rejected by Americans in the November 2016 elections, issued the following statement through the Huffington Post:[sic] the "president" is heartened by the level of engagement taking place in communities around the country. In his final speech as President, he spoke about the important role of citizens and how all Americans have a responsibility to be the guardians of our democracy-not just during an election but every day. Citizens exercising their Constitutional right to assemble, organize and have their voice heard by their elected officials is exactly what we expect to see when American values are at stake...the "president" (quotations added" fundamentally disagrees with the notion of discriminating against individuals because of their faith." The ex-"president" is right in one respect: that American citizens need to be vocal, especially Christian citizens who see the common sense in enforcing the law, which the past "president" selectively did and the current President is trying to do. Notwithstanding, President Trump is not singling out Muslims because of their faith, he is preventing for a limited time visits of people from states known to harbor terrorists. He is taking measures to protect each of us from the murderous effect of terrorism. The ex-"president" would appear to be trying to stir up division and rebellion by protecting possible terrorists in the name of American civil rights. Never mind, he did similar acts that the media hardly noticed. As for the American people-a recent Rasmussen Poll suggests that some "57% of Likely U.S. Voters favor a temporary ban on refugees from Syria, Iraq, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and Yemen until the federal government approves its ability to screen out potential terrorists from coming here...Similarly, 56% favor a temporary block on visas prohibiting residents of Syria, Iraq, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and Yemen from entering the United States until the government approves its ability to screen for likely terrorists." As 1 Samuel 15:23 says, "For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness (insubordination) is as iniquity and idolatry." This is a dangerous time for America as a seditious shadow government of Islamic Marxism supported by globalist anarchists may be in the making. Pray and act. Daily Devotion: When Sorrow Is Good - Greg Laurie -
www.harvest.org For the kind of sorrow God wants us to experience leads us away from sin and results in salvation. There's no regret for that kind of sorrow. But worldly sorrow, which lacks repentance, results in spiritual death. -2 Corinthians 7:10 C. S. Lewis said, "Repentance is no fun at all. It is something much harder than merely eating humble pie. It means unlearning all the self-conceit and self-will that we have been training ourselves into for thousands of years." We read of people in the Bible who were sorry, but they weren't repentant. For example, a hardened Pharaoh admitted his sin. In Exodus we read, "Pharaoh quickly summoned Moses and Aaron. 'This time I have sinned,' he confessed. 'The Lord is the righteous one, and my people and I are wrong.'" (9:27). Yet Pharaoh went on to deliberately sin against God and His people. An insincere king Saul admitted his sin, saying to Samuel, "I have sinned. I have disobeyed your instructions and the LORD'S command" (1 Samuel 15:24). But that didn't stop Saul from going on a collision course with judgment. The rich young ruler came to Jesus and asked how to have eternal life. When Jesus told him, he went away sorrowful but not repentant. He wasn't willing to change. These people were experiencing what the apostle Paul called "worldly sorrow, which lacks repentance, [and] results in spiritual death" (2 Corinthians 7:10). There is a difference between remorse and repentance. This is important to understand. People are sorry when their sin catches up with them. They are sorry when they begin to reap what they sow. But that doesn't necessarily mean they are repentant. If you are truly sorry in a godly way, then you not only will have remorse for what you have done, but you also will change your behavior. This should be a warning to us not to take spiritual truth for granted. Let us not sit by passively and listen without any real intent to apply it to our lives. FROM THE HEART
