Life Discovered on Mars - J.L. Robb - http://www.omegaletter.com/articles/articles.asp?ArticleID=8386
Can you imagine the excitement in the scientific community at that news? Life has been discovered on Mars. In a dark crevice on a hillside, that oscillates between extreme cold and extreme heat as the red planet rotates and orbits the sun, a NASA robot has discovered a bacterium. What a story that would be. The U.S. government has spent billions of tax dollars, maybe trillions over the years, to track down a life form of some kind anywhere besides Earth. If NASA doesn't find a bacterium, a virus would probably suffice though it is unsure exactly what kind of lifeform a virus would be. To be alive, something must replicate. A virus can replicate but it has to have a host, like a cell. Bacteria, on the other hand, can replicate without a host. Finding life somewhere out there, somewhere besides Earth, might prove to evolutionary biologists that we really are simply a product of evolution, an ancient accident of sorts. It just happened magically on Earth, and magically on Mars too. Generation of life could become commonplace, even in the most impossible of atmospheres. President Bill Clinton thought we found life on Mars while he was President. On August 7, 1996, because of the discovery of a small meteorite in Antarctica in 1984, President Clinton had this to say: It is well worth contemplating how we reached this moment of discovery. More than 4 billion years ago this piece of rock was formed as a part of the original crust of Mars. After billions of years it broke from the surface and began a 16 million year journey through space that would end here on Earth. It arrived in a meteor shower 13,000 years ago. And in 1984 an American scientist on an annual U.S. government mission to search for meteors on Antarctica picked it up and took it to be studied. Appropriately, it was the first rock to be picked up that year -- rock number 84001. Today, rock 84001 speaks to us across all those billions of years and millions of miles. It speaks of the possibility of life. If this discovery is confirmed, it will surely be one of the most stunning insights into our universe that science has ever uncovered. Its implications are as far-reaching and awe-inspiring as can be imagined. Even as it promises answers to some of our oldest questions, it poses still others even more fundamental. I suppose it was embarrassing when the story was investigated and determined to be untrue. The small meteorite everyone was so excited about, was "thought" to be from Mars and is named ALH84001 after its discoverer, Allan Hills. It was discovered under electron microscopy that some structures of the meteorite resembled possible "bacteria-like" fossils. However, the "lifeform" was smaller than any cell known to man. What do you think the scientific community would think had the Martian robot found a chicken egg? Can you imagine? An egg would certainly be more of a lifeform than a theoretical nanobacterium smaller than any cell ever discovered at this point? Life Found on Mars would definitely be the headline, and should. An egg is certainly a sign of life to the scientific community, at least on Mars, Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune and Uranus. Isn't it odd then, that so many scientists do not consider an egg as life on our own planet? Suppose the Martian robot had found a human fetus on Mars? Now that would be proof of life for sure. Planned Parenthood is the largest abortion provider in the United States. This means they kill more fetuses than any other company, clinic or healthcare (what a joke) group. If they were located on Mars and doing the same, there would be an uproar. Down here on Earth, it's just another day. We have been brainwashed by the left in our society (Hollywood, school teachers and professors, news journalists and our government and universities) into believing that what would be life on Mars is really not life on Earth. It was our Supreme Court that ruled in 1973 that a woman's right to privacy outweighed the life of the lifeform and could thereby kill the lifeform if she so wishes with no penalty. The fetus is penalized though, because they become an ex-lifeform. Our Declaration of Independence does not give citizens the right to happiness but only the right to pursue happiness. It does not say we are all equal, only that we were created equal. If a right to pursue happiness happens to infringe on someone else's pursuit of their happiness, like the baby who is being killed, shouldn't there be pause? Abortion in the United States has decreased the past few years. We are only aborting 1,500,000 human lifeforms a year instead of 2-million. Isn't that nice. Approximately 40-million human lifeforms are killed every year in the world. It has to stop. When the Supreme Court decided in 1973 that fetal life was not supreme at all unless they were alien beings, many in the community, especially the church and synagogue communities, felt agony. They knew God was not going to be happy. Doom and gloom would come, God's wrath would be here any day and the world would finally repent. Then life and lifeforms would go on. But it didn't happen. Forty-four years later, we are still feeding the abortion frenzy. Thanks to our new President Trump, at least we the taxpayer will no longer have to pay for the destruction of the lifeforms. But wait! God's wrath may come and we don't recognize it because it comes slowly. He is very patient, and a day to us is an eternity for Him. Have there been more disasters in the world since 1973 than at other times throughout history? Here is a partial list from CBC News, and the answer is a resounding affirmative:
This is a lot of wrath when the numbers are totaled. Maybe The Almighty thinks differently about fetal lifeforms than mankind? Death is death. For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. Psalm 139:13-16 NIV "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations." Jeremiah 1:5 NIV Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him. Psalm 127:3 NIV When Jesus told us to love one another as we love ourselves, that pretty much ruled out abortion. Will we repent? Doubtful. Will the world repent? Don't think so. Like the people of Nineveh, we keep getting chances; but it seems mankind has eyes that do not see; ears that do not hear. Netanyahu to meet with Trump at White House. How he should prepare Less than a week after he was inaugurated into office, President Donald Trump announced that he had repaired the US's fractured ties with Israel. "It got repaired as soon as I took the oath of office," he said. Not only does Israel now enjoy warm relations with the White House. When Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu arrives in the US capital next week, he will be greeted by the most supportive political climate Israel has ever seen in Washington. It is true that dangers to Israel's ties with America lurk in the background. The radical Left is taking control of the Democratic Party. But the forces now hijacking the party on a whole host of issues have yet to transform their hatred of Israel into the position of most Democratic lawmakers in Congress. Democrats in both houses of Congress joined with their Republican counterparts in condemning UN Security Council Resolution 2334 that criminalized Israel. A significant number of Democratic lawmakers support Trump's decision to slap new sanctions on Iran. Similarly, radical Jewish groups have been unsuccessful in rallying the more moderate leftist Jewish leadership to their cause. Case in point is the widespread support Trump's appointment of David Friedman to serve as his ambassador to Israel is receiving from the community. Whereas J Street and T'ruah are circulating a petition calling for people to oppose his Senate confirmation, sources close to the issue in Washington say that AIPAC supports it. Given this political climate, Netanyahu must use his meeting with Trump to develop a working alliance to secure Israel's long-term strategic interests both on issues of joint concern and on issues that concern Israel alone. The first issue on the agenda must be Iran. Since taking office, Trump has signaled that unlike his predecessors, he is willing to lead a campaign against Iran. Trump has placed Iran on notice that its continued aggression will not go unanswered and he has harshly criticized Obama's nuclear deal with the mullahs. In the lead-up to his meeting with Trump, Netanyahu has said that he will present the new president with five options for scaling back Tehran's nuclear program. No time can be wasted in addressing this problem. Iran continues spinning its advanced centrifuges. The mullahs are still on schedule to field the means to deploy nuclear warheads at will within a decade. Netanyahu's task is to work with Trump to significantly set back Iran's nuclear program as quickly as possible. Then there is Syria. And Russia. On Sunday, Trump restated his desire to develop ties with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Netanyahu must present Trump with a viable plan to reconstitute US-Russian ties in exchange for Russian abandonment of its alliance with Tehran and its cooperation with Iran and Hezbollah in Syria. Here, too, time is of the essence. According to news reports this week, President Bashar Assad is redeploying his forces to the Syrian border with Israel. Almost since the outset of the war in Syria six years ago, Assad's forces have been under Iranian and Hezbollah control. If Syrian forces deploy to the border, then Iran and Hezbollah will control the border. Israel cannot permit such a development. It's not just that such a deployment greatly expands the risk of war. As long as Russia is acting in strategic alliance with Iran and Hezbollah in Syria, the deployment of Iranian-controlled forces to the border raises the real possibility that Israel will find itself at war with Russia in Syria. Then there are the Sunnis. For the past six years, Netanyahu successfully withstood Obama's pressure by developing an informal alliance with Sunni regimes that share its opposition to Iran and to the Muslim Brotherhood. According to sources aware of the Trump administration's strategic plans, the administration wishes to integrate Israel more strongly into Washington's alliance structure with Sunni regimes. Israel, of course, has good reason to support this plan, particularly if it involves extending the US military's Central Command to include Israel. There are, however, significant limitations on the potential of Israel's ties to Sunni regimes. First, there is the fact that all of these regimes are threatened by Islamist forces operating in their territory and on their borders. As Israel Air Force commander Maj.-Gen. Amir Eshel warned this week, Israel is concerned that in the event any of these regimes is overthrown, the advanced US weapons it fields will fall under the control of Islamist forces. Then there is the fact that in exchange for taking their relations with Israel out of the proverbial closet, the Arabs will demand that Israel make concessions to the PLO. This then brings us to the only subject the media is discussing in relation to Netanyahu's upcoming meeting with Trump: Will Trump push Israel to make concessions to the PLO or won't he? The short answer is that it doesn't appear that Trump has the slightest intention of doing so. Over the past week, the administration has made three statements about the Palestinians. First, of course, was the White House's statement about the so-called Israeli settlements that came out last Thursday. Although nearly all media reports on the statement claimed it aligned Trump with his predecessors in opposition to Israel's civilian presence in Judea and Samaria, the fact is that the statement was the most supportive statement any US administration has ever made about those communities. Obama, of course rejected Israel's right to any civilian presence beyond the 1949 armistice lines, including in Jerusalem. In his final weeks in office, Obama joined the international mob in falsely castigating Israeli communities in these areas as illegal. George W. Bush for his part, made a distinction between the so-called settlement blocs and the more isolated Israeli villages in Judea and Samaria. He gave grudging and limited support for Israel's right to respect the property rights of Jews in the former. He rejected Jewish property rights in the latter. Trump repudiated both of these positions. In its statement on Thursday, the administration made no distinction between Jewish property rights in any of the areas. Moreover, the statement did not even reject the construction of new Israeli communities. According to the text of the statement, "the construction of new settlements or the expansion of existing settlements beyond their current borders may not be helpful in achieving" the goal of peace. But, then again, they may be helpful. And then again, they may have no impact whatsoever on the chance of achieving peace. Not only did the administration's statement not reject Israel's right to build new communities, it rejected completely the position of Trump's predecessors that Israeli communities are an obstacle to peace. In the administration's words, "We don't believe the existence of settlements is an impediment to peace." After renouncing the positions of its predecessors on Israeli communities in Judea and Samaria, the administration then refused to say whether its vision for peace includes a Palestinian state. In line with the Republican Party's platform that makes no mention of support for Palestinian statehood, the Trump administration continues to question the rationale for supporting a policy that has failed for the past 95 years. Finally, the administration said it had no comment on the regulations law this week regarding Jewish construction rights in Judea and Samaria. All White House spokesman Sean Spicer would say was that it would be discussed in Trump's meeting with Netanyahu. This brings us back to that meeting, and how Netanyahu should broach the Palestinian issue. Both from statements by administration sources since the election and from the administration's refusal to speak with Palestinian Authority officials since Trump's electoral victory, Trump and his top advisers have made clear that they see no upside to US support for the PLO. They do not want to support the PLO and they do not want to be dragged into fruitless discussions between Israel and the PLO. For the past 24 years, US mediation of those discussions has weakened America's position in the region, has weakened Israel and has empowered the PLO and anti-American forces worldwide. According to sources with knowledge of the administration's position, Trump views the Israeli- Palestinian conflict as an internal Israeli issue. He expects Israel to deal with it and do so in a way that stabilizes the region and keeps the Palestinians out of the headlines, to the extent possible. In this vein, sources with knowledge of administration considerations claim that last Thursday's White House statement on Israeli communities in Judea and Samaria was in part the result of exasperation with Israel's inability to keep quiet on the issue. Had Netanyahu and Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman not announced that they were issuing permits for thousands of building starts in Judea and Samaria, the White House wouldn't have felt compelled to issue a statement on the matter. The administration's desire to disengage from the PLO is well aligned with Israel's strategic interests. No good has ever come to Israel from US support for the PLO. Moreover, Israel has achieved its greatest strategic successes in relation to determining its borders when it has kept its moves as low key as possible. Israel Watch: Filling the Land of Israel - Jim Fletcher - http://www.raptureready.com/category/israel-watch/
What a fascinating time to be alive! Both Good and Evil are flexing their muscles, and this has great relevance for Bible prophecy. In particular, we are seeing both good things in the offing for Israel and perilous times. One day we hear that a new ally has popped up for the Jewish state; the next day a new threat. This week, the news was full of information about both the removal of a "settlement outpost" (Amona, north of Jerusalem) and the announcement of more than 2,000 apartments approved for four communities in Judea and Samaria. The latter, of course, enrages the international community. Amona was established 20 years ago, on a hilltop that was claimed to be Palestinian agricultural land. Lawsuits ensued and it took until this week for an Israeli court ruling to be carried out: Amona was demolished. While this was unfolding, the government of Benjamin Netanyahu approved the construction of homes for thousands more Jews. According to the Jerusalem Post: "All total in the last week, Israel has spoke of advancing or authorizing 5,500 units, including those on Galant's list. "Israel feels free to take such measures because it believes that the new US President Donald Trump will be support of settlement constitution in the blocs and Jewish building in east Jerusalem. "It's part of a series of gesture Netanyahu has made to the Israeli right and to the settlement movement in general to offset the anger over the outpost's destruction. On Wednesday he also announced the creation of a new settlement." Even since the dreadful Oslo Accords of 1993, Israel has managed to house hundreds of thousands of citizens in the biblical heartland, and many more will come. Despite sounds arguments from the best legal minds that the "settlements" (itself a propaganda term devised by the international community) are not illegal under international law, Israel's critics say otherwise. Here we see something important. In advocating for Israel, it does little good to cite these legal opinions, for one reason: the critics hate Israel and Jews, period. One could bring the legal reasoning down from Mt. Sinai, and the nations would rage anyway. They will rage. And, as history often does, things have turned on a dime. No one really knows what Donald Trump really thinks about Israel, but one suspects it's not bad at all. And infinitely better than the Marxist, Barack Obama. So there appears to be time to do some things to benefit Israel. We know that this window will last four or eight years, and then we might well have another Obama in office. In other words, another Haman. For now, more and more Jews stream into their ancestral land. The joy for us is that every new home there proves prophecy. As we read in Isaiah 13:14: "Like a hunted gazelle, like sheep without a shepherd, they will all return to their own people, they will flee to their native land." Many of us are anxious for the Lord to return. But He will return in His time. In the meantime, it is exciting to watch His children come home. Much to the consternation of the nations, who rage. Sadly, this raging also includes key American evangelical leaders. Amona is gone. Four more take her place. The gazelle is running home. [email protected] Throngs to Fulfill Biblical Prophecy in the Holy Land for The New Year of the Trees - By Tsivya Fox - https://www.breakingisraelnews.com/83413/whats-important-praying-messiah-jewish-answer-might-surprise/#4tLyQjIBobBYERm5.97
"I will plant in the wilderness the cedar, the acacia-tree, and the myrtle, and the oil-tree; I will set in the desert the cypress, the plane-tree, and the larch together." Isaiah 41:19 (The Israel Bible™) In 1867, Mark Twain visited Israel and wrote in his travel book "Innocents Abroad" that the land was "a desolate country whose soil is rich enough, but is given over wholly to weeds... a silent mournful expanse.... a desolation.... hardly a tree or shrub anywhere. Even the olive tree and the cactus, those fast friends of a worthless soil, had almost deserted the country." Today, Twain's reaction to the Holy Land would be entirely different. Over 250 million trees have been planted in Israel over the past century, in fulfillment of Biblical prophecies. "Every tree planted in Israel is a testament that God is faithful to His word," shared Rabbi Tuly Weisz, Director of Israel365, an organization highlighting the connection between the Bible and Israel and building bridges between Jews and pro-Israel Christians worldwide. "As it says in Isaiah, 'The Lord will surely comfort Zion and will look with compassion on all her ruins; He will make her deserts like Eden, her wastelands like the garden of the Lord'." (Isaiah 51:3, The Israel Bible) This Saturday, February 11th, marks the Jewish holiday of Tu B'Shvat (the 15th day of the Hebrew month of Shvat). This day is referred to in the Talmud as the "New Year for Trees". It is like a Jewish "Arbor Day" with significant Biblical considerations. "Tu B'Shvat is the premiere time to show appreciation for the beauty, fruits, and health benefits that trees provide, especially in Israel," noted Rabbi Weisz. "So important are planting trees in Israel that the ancient rabbis in the Talmud taught us that if a person is planting a tree and hears that the Messiah has arrived, he should finish planting the tree before going to greet the Messiah!" In Israel it is a universal custom to plant trees in honor of Tu B'Shvat. Over a million Jewish Israelis are expected to take part in Tu B'Shvat tree planting activities this week. Additionally, the Israeli holiday is commemorated by partaking in the seven special foods for which the Bible praises Israel: "It is a land of wheat and barley, grapes, fig trees and pomegranates; a land of olive-trees and dates." (Deuteronomy 8:8, The Israel Bible). This past November, Palestinian terrorists destroyed 130,000 dunams of Israeli forests, making the replenishment of the land an urgent mission. To that end, Israel365 has a Tree Planting Campaign to encourage all lovers of the Holy Land to donate towards its reforestation. Deuteronomy 20:19-20 states, "When you besiege a city a long time, to make war against it in order to capture it, you shall not destroy its trees by swinging an axe against them; for you may eat from them, and you shall not cut them down. For is the tree of the field a man, that it should be besieged by you?" Rabbi Weisz explained that these phrases not only emphasize the holiness of every tree but also compares mankind to a tree. Tu B'Shvat is a particularly good day for people to cultivate strong spiritual roots by increasing their good deeds. "Judaism teaches that the earth belongs to God and we are His partners in preserving the planet and its resources," he said. "I pray that those people who love Israel will join Israel365 in celebrating Tu B'Shvat and plant a tree in Israel to strengthen both their spiritual and physical roots in Israel." Forgotten Dangers - Fukushima Radiation Spikes To 'Unimaginable' Levels - By Michael Snyder - http://www.prophecynewswatch.com/article.cfm?recent_news_id=1007
Radiation inside one of the damaged reactors at the Fukushima nuclear power facility has reached an "unimaginable" level according to experts. Because so much nuclear material from Fukushima escaped into the Pacific Ocean, there are many scientists that believe that it was the worst environmental disaster in human history, but most people in the general population seem to think that since the mainstream media really doesn't talk about it anymore that everything must be under control. Unfortunately, that is not true at all. In fact, PBS reported just last year that "it is incorrect to say that Fukushima is under control when levels of radioactivity in the ocean indicate ongoing leaks". And now we have just learned that the radiation level inside reactor 2 is so high that no human could possibly survive being exposed to it. According to the Japan Times, the level of radiation inside the containment vessel of reactor 2 is now estimated to be "530 sieverts per hour"... The radiation level in the containment vessel of reactor 2 at the crippled Fukushima No. 1 power plant has reached a maximum of 530 sieverts per hour, the highest since the triple core meltdown in March 2011, Tokyo Electric Power Co. Holdings Inc. said. Tepco said on Thursday that the blazing radiation reading was taken near the entrance to the space just below the pressure vessel, which contains the reactor core. The high figure indicates that some of the melted fuel that escaped the pressure vessel is nearby. It is hard to find the words to convey how serious this is. If you were exposed to a radiation level of just 10 sieverts per hour, that would mean almost certain death. So 530 sieverts per hour is simply off the charts. According to the Guardian, this recent measurement is being described by scientists as "unimaginable"... The recent reading, described by some experts as "unimaginable", is far higher than the previous record of 73 sieverts an hour in that part of the reactor. A single dose of one sievert is enough to cause radiation sickness and nausea; 5 sieverts would kill half those exposed to it within a month, and a single dose of 10 sieverts would prove fatal within weeks. And the really bad news is that there appears to be a 2 meter hole that was created by melted nuclear fuel "in the metal grating under the pressure vessel in the reactor's primary containment vessel". The following comes from Bloomberg... New photographs show what may be melted nuclear fuel sitting under one of Japan's wrecked Fukushima reactors, a potential milestone in the search and retrieval of the fuel almost six years after it was lost in one of the worst atomic disasters in history. Tokyo Electric Power Co. Holdings Inc., Japan's biggest utility, released images on Monday showing a grate under the Fukushima Dai-Ichi No. 2 reactor covered in black residue. The company, better known as Tepco, may send in a scorpion-like robot as soon as February to determine the temperature and radioactivity of the residue. If that isn't frightening enough, one Japanese news source is reporting that this melted nuclear fuel "has since come in contact with underground water flowing from the mountain side"... The melted fuel has since come in contact with underground water flowing from the mountain side, generating radioactively contaminated water every day. In order to dismantle the reactor, it is necessary to take out the melted fuel, but high radiation levels inside the reactor had hampered work to locate the melted debris. If this disaster was just limited to Japan, the entire northern hemisphere would not be at risk. But that is not the case. Most of the nuclear contamination from Fukushima ended up in the Pacific Ocean, and from there it was literally taken around the rest of the planet. The following was reported by PBS... More than 80 percent of the radioactivity from the damaged reactors ended up in the Pacific -- far more than reached the ocean from Chernobyl or Three Mile Island. Of this, a small fraction is currently on the seafloor -- the rest was swept up by the Kuroshio current, a western Pacific version of the Gulf Stream, and carried out to sea where it mixed with (and was diluted by) the vast volume of the North Pacific. We don't know if there is a connection, but it is extremely interesting to note that fisheries up and down the west coast of the United States are failing because of a dramatic decrease in fish populations. Just check out the following excerpt from a story that was posted on January 18th... U.S. Secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker today determined there are commercial fishery failures for nine salmon and crab fisheries in Alaska, California and Washington. In recent years, each of these fisheries experienced sudden and unexpected large decreases in fish stock biomass or loss of access due to unusual ocean and climate conditions. This decision enables fishing communities to seek disaster relief assistance from Congress. Things are particularly bad up in Alaska, and biologists are "stumped" as to why this could be happening... In 2016, the pink salmon harvests in Kodiak, Prince William Sounds, Chignik and lower Cook Inlet came in woefully under forecast and stumped biologists as to why. The estimated value of Kodiak's 2016 haul was $2.21 million, compared to a five-year average of $14.64 million, and in Prince William Sound the ex-vessel value was $6.6 million, far less that the $44 million five-year average. The total state harvest was the smallest since the late 1970s. Although state biologists weren't ready to declare a cause for the poor pink salmon performance, the Commerce Department press release attributed the disasters to "unusual ocean and climate conditions." Further south, it was being reported last month that millions of dead sardines are washing up on the shores of Chile. I could go on and on with a lot more examples like this, but hopefully you get the point. Something really strange is happening in the Pacific, and a lot of people believe that there is a link to Fukushima. Not too long ago, I wrote about how the elite of Silicon Valley are "feverishly prepping", but the truth is that all of us should be. Our planet is becoming increasingly unstable, and the Fukushima nuclear disaster is just one piece of the puzzle. But it is definitely a very important piece. The nuclear material from Fukushima is continuously entering the food chain, and once that nuclear material gets into our bodies it will slowly irradiate our organs for years to come. The following is an excerpt from an absolutely outstanding opinion piece by Helen Caldicott that was published in the Guardian... Internal radiation, on the other hand, emanates from radioactive elements which enter the body by inhalation, ingestion, or skin absorption. Hazardous radionuclides such as iodine-131, caesium 137, and other isotopes currently being released in the sea and air around Fukushima bio-concentrate at each step of various food chains (for example into algae, crustaceans, small fish, bigger fish, then humans; or soil, grass, cow's meat and milk, then humans). After they enter the body, these elements - called internal emitters - migrate to specific organs such as the thyroid, liver, bone, and brain, where they continuously irradiate small volumes of cells with high doses of alpha, beta and/or gamma radiation, and over many years, can induce uncontrolled cell replication - that is, cancer. Further, many of the nuclides remain radioactive in the environment for generations, and ultimately will cause increased incidences of cancer and genetic diseases over time. Are you starting to understand the gravity of the situation? Sadly, this crisis is going to be with us for a very, very long time. According to Bloomberg, they are not even going to start removing melted nuclear fuel from these reactors until 2021, and it is being projected that the overall cleanup "may take as long as 40 years"... Decommissioning the reactors will cost 8 trillion yen ($70.4 billion), according to an estimate in December from the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. Removing the fuel is one of the most important steps in a cleanup that may take as long as 40 years. The unprecedented nature of the Fukushima disaster means that Tepco is pinning its efforts on technology not yet invented to get the melted fuel out of the reactors. The company aims to decide on a fuel removal procedure for the first reactor during the fiscal year ending March 2019, and to begin removing fuel in 2021. A lot of people that end up dying as a result of this crisis may never even know that it was Fukushima that caused their deaths. Personally, I am convinced that this is the greatest environmental crisis that humanity has ever experienced, and if the latest reading from reactor 2 is any indication, things just took a very serious turn for the worse.
My Review of "Rapture Ready...Or Not?" Over the last 35 years, I have literally read hundreds of books on Bible Prophecy and End Time signs. I especially enjoy books on the Rapture, and I have read almost every Rapture-related book published. In all those years, devouring thousands of pages, and millions of words, I have not read a better book on the Rapture than, Rapture Ready...Or Not? Terry James might be physically blind, but he is spiritually sharp and well discerning beyond most authors. In "Rapture Ready...Or Not?" Terry has nailed the pre-trib Rapture, and removed any doubt what so ever about the Church going through the Tribulation. With great insight and Godly discernment, Terry explains with simple, yet profound words, why and how that he has come to believe the ways he does about the Rapture, the Tribulation, and the End Times scenario. I think after reading "Rapture Ready...Or Not?" you too will believe as Terry does, and be Ready for the Rapture like never before! - Randy Thomas - Publisher / Editor - Prophecy Update For more information and or to get your copy of "Rapture Ready...Or Not?" use this link: http://www.raptureready.com/terry/book35.html Absent From Heaven - By Grant Phillips - http://www.raptureready.com/2017/02/10/american-women-would-you-enjoy-being-beaten-up-tonight-in-bed-by-pat-franklin-2/
I'm just contemplating today those things that will not be in Heaven that we face daily on earth. What I write will be of no surprise, at least to those who long for our eternal home. Obviously, I could never mention everything that will be absent in Heaven, so I'll just jot down a few things that come to mind. The greatest tragedy though is all the billions of people who will not be in Heaven because they did not take the "narrow road" of life, the road that identifies Jesus Christ as the only way to the Father. "Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it." (Matthew 7:13-14 NIV) First of all, we won't have to worry about ourselves and those we love being afflicted with any kind of disease or illness. Everything from bad colds to cancer will not exist. There will be no broken bones, bruises and cuts. There will be no failing eyesight and hearing. There will be no wheel chairs, prosthetics, and canes. There will be no ambulances, hospitals, or nursing homes. There will be no cemeteries since no one will die. There will be no police force, courts and prisons since there will be no crime. No Cain will rise up to murder his brother. There will be no locks since no one will covet and steal. There will be no lies and deception, no scams from 'snake oil salesmen.' Broken homes, hunger and loneliness will not inhabit our eternal state. There will be no drug-induced children, alcoholic mothers or abusive fathers. There will be no shortage of love; love from our God, and Godly love among all His children. There will be no jealousy, bitterness, or boasting, unless it is boasting in Christ. There will be no reprobate minds, egotism, or pride. There will be no trash on the highway, graffiti on the wall, deadly cold of the Artic or blistering heat of the desert. There will be no junkyards, weeds or smelly swamps. There will be no burned forests, flooded coastal lands or damage from winds. The Bible even pinpoints a non-inclusive list of those things that will not be in Heaven. "Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God." (1 Corinthians 6:9-10 NASB) (emphasis mine) It is important that I pause here and emphasize verse eleven of this same passage. "Such WERE (emphasis mine) some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God." (1 Corinthians 6:11 NASB) One or more of these sins may be attributable to someone now, but they can be permanently removed by the blood of Jesus Christ by simply calling upon Him to be saved. Put your trust in Him, and He will wash you, sanctify (consecrate) you, and justify (render righteous) you in His name and Spirit. They can, through the power of Jesus, no longer be a part of your life if you are willing to trust Him and allow Him to live in you. Moving on, there will be no Satan and none of his demonic followers. There will be no temptation and no sin. There will be nothing unholy or unclean. There will be no false prophets, no tears, and no anxieties. There will be no one breaking any of God's commands. We will all ... "...Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind...Love your neighbor as yourself." (Matthew 22:37, 39 NIV) Because of Jesus placing His cloak of righteousness upon us, we will be able to live in truth and righteousness with sin no longer impeding our walk with Him. "At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you." (John 14:20) "Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. (John 15:4) By Him living in us, we can live for Him as we were meant to in the beginning, not as robots, but as free agents. I have only listed a few things that come to mind of the things that will not be in Heaven. Read the Word and think on these thinks and you will see many more. For the Christian, Heaven is our true home, but what really makes it a 'home' is because we will be with our Creator, God, Savior and Lord, fellowshipping with Him, enjoying His love in worship and praise. Massachusetts Democratic Senator Elizabeth Warren was told to sit down and shut up by the male-dominated Senate when she was reading a 1986 letter from Coretta Scott King opposing the nomination of Jeff Sessions for a federal judgeship. That's how the Democratic Party and the mainstream news media are propagandizing the late-night moment. In reality, Warren, who is a known liar from her days falsely claiming she was part American Indian to get a job at Harvard, was railing against Sessions with personal attacks while reading the letter when the Senate voted to break her visceral filibuster, using Rule 19 that prohibits senators from impugning each other. Now you are seeing fake news at its best. The communist/anarchist propaganda machine fueled by the Democrats and a willing media are crying foul. Warren's words play the female victim of bigotry and chauvinism card: "I literally can't be recognized on the floor of the Senate. I have become a nonperson during the discussion of Jeff Sessions...They can shut me up, but they can't change the truth" Majority leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky, explained, "She was warned. She was given an explanation. Nevertheless, she persisted." And those are the sound bites that the fake news machine are using to say that because Warren is female and opposes Sessions, the GOP is discriminating against her for reading a letter that other senators also quoted from. Truth is, the other senators were not personally impugning Sessions while reading the letter. Sessions was later approved by a 52-47 vote. The incident prompted Senator Marco Rubio, R-Fl, to respond, "I want people to think about our politics here today in America. Because I don't know of a single nation in the history of the world that has been able to solve its problems when half the people in a country absolutely hate the other half of people in that country. Turn on the news and watch these parliaments around the world where people throw chairs at each other, and punches, and ask yourself, how does that make you feel about those countries? It doesn't give you a lot of confidence about those countries. Now I'm not arguing that we're anywhere near that, but we're flirting with it. We're flirting with it in Congress and we are flirting with it in this country.,, "We have become a society incapable of having debates anymore. No one ever stops to say, 'I think you're wrong, I understand your point of view, I get it, you have some valid points, but let me tell you why I think my view is better.' I don't hear that anymore. We are reaching a point in this republic where we're not going to be able to solve the simplest of issues because everyone is putting themselves in a corner where everyone hates everybody." Rubio said that if you disagree, you are immediately characterized as a bigot, racist, or whatever. Rubio is right. We need to find a way to disagree without being disagreeable. He also said it well. As Philippians 2:3 says, "Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem the other better than themselves." It is the missing link to civilized discourse. Daily Devotion: Five Reasons to Discipline Your Child - Greg Laurie - www.harvest.org
Correct your son, and he will give you rest; yes, he will give delight to your soul. -Proverbs 29:17 Just as our children need our hugs and our affirmation, they also need to know what the parameters are, as well as the ramifications for crossing them. That, too, is love. It has been said the cure for crime is not in the electric chair; it is in the high chair. Start early. Love your children by disciplining them. The Bible tells us we should discipline our children. Here are five reasons: 1. We discipline our children to remove foolishness. Proverbs 22:15 says, "Foolishness is bound up in the heart of a child; the rod of correction will drive it far from him." 2. We discipline our children to rescue them from judgment. Proverbs 23:13-14 tells us, "Don't fail to discipline your children. The rod of punishment won't kill them. Physical discipline may well save them from death" (NLT). 3. We discipline our children to give them wisdom. According to Proverbs 29:15, "To discipline a child produces wisdom, but a mother is disgraced by an undisciplined child" (NLT). 4. We discipline our children to relieve our anxiety. As Proverbs 29:17 says, "Correct your son, and he will give you rest; yes, he will give delight to your soul." 5. We discipline our children so they might reflect God's character. Hebrews 12:10-11 says, "For our earthly fathers disciplined us for a few years, doing the best they knew how. But God's discipline is always good for us, so that we might share in his holiness. No discipline is enjoyable while it is happening-it's painful! But afterward there will be a peaceful harvest of right living for those who are trained in this way" (NLT). Know this: God will hold us accountable one day. He has given us this charge, this responsibility. It isn't optional. God has commanded us as parents to bring our children up in the training and admonition of the Lord. FROM THE HEART
