Rapture...What If...? - By Terry James -
https://www.raptureready.com/2020/02/28/rapturewhat-if-by-terry-james/ Once-in-a while, my writer's cognition takes me into the realm of imagining what would happen if... Now, I am aware of the bromide of precaution: "'If' is for children." Nonetheless, "what if?" is the conduit through which the imaginations of nonfiction writers as well as fictionists have been transported throughout history. With full recognition and acknowledgment of this precautionary heads-up, I want to think a bit on "what if" regarding a prophetic matter most of us are deeply concerned about. We are, after all, "children of God," so, if "what if" is for children," I feel secure in proposing this "what if" to you. As you see, the title is "Rapture...What If...?" While I know this will be read mostly by children of God, I write it with the hope that readers in this category also know they are royal ambassadors of the court of the heavenlies. Therefore, I hope you will share the thoughts herein offered within your spheres of influence as people charged to carry out the Great Commission. Writing about this "what if" is so important to produce and disseminate at this time because history might well be nearing the prophetic moment that instantaneously dooms millions-particularly in America-because all in this nation will have heard the Gospel. Beyond that stupendous event, some will have no chance to be saved from damnation. They will be lost for all eternity. Most every signal of the colossal, world-rending change that is on the very brink of striking the inhabitants of the planet is flashing brilliant red. Within the past few days, I've received a number of emails listing many such ominous signals bombarding this generation. These are almost identical and come from a number of websites, without any of these sites giving attribution to the original source. The best I can tell, they originate with Michael Snyder, a blogger with whom I'm sure many are familiar (http://endoftheamericandream.com/archives/10-plagues-that-are-hitting-our-planet-simultaneously). (I must note here that Mr. Snyder does not accept that the Bible teaches a pre-Tribulation Rapture.) The following is a very brief list of some of these signals. 1) Locust swarms as large as cities are destroying entire agricultural crops within thirty seconds of alighting. 2) Rampaging weather events are taking place, such as what's going on in Australia. After fires that killed a half-billion animals and many people, rain deluged the area in record amounts. Winds in excess of two hundred miles per hour created dust storms that blotted out the sun. Jackson, Mississippi, received record rainfall and flooding. 3): Major earthquakes are occurring around the globe and increasing in magnitude. Those who keep up with them report that there are too many to record individually at times. 4) Volcanoes are erupting simultaneously around the world. The gargantuan Mount Merapi in Indonesia, for example, sent lava and ashes more than two thousand meters in the air and forced people to stay clear of its zone of devastation. 5) The coronavirus is potentially one of the most devastating diseases the world has experienced. It threatens entire national economies as well as the health of citizenry. 6) African swine fever has wiped out much of the pork sources, which threatens food supplies around the world. 7): The H1N1 swine flu kills people rather than the animals, and has already taken the lives of more people than the coronavirus in China. 8): The H5N1 bird flu, which killed many a few years ago, is said to be recurring and threatens to cause even more deaths than before. 9) The H5N8 bird flu is thought to be more virulent than even H5N1 bird flu. It is appearing all over the world, and experts are surprised by it popping up in Germany recently. My long-time friend and colleague, Dr. Joseph Chambers of Paw Creek Ministries, has weighed in on how near to the Rapture today's flashing-red-light issues and events must surely place this generation. I'm thrilled at the many signs of Christ's soon return. The Rapture is evident, but so are the many great events of the end connected to the Rapture and His return to reign on the earth. Let's look at the times in Scripture where the writers are using the term, "last days." This very term mean, "the last of the last." This is where we certainly have arrived. Let's talk about:
So, with the explosion of prophetic indicators converging at this time, the thought I intend to present in this commentary revolves around "what if" the people of the earth are now about to be catastrophically jolted by the most calamitous event of all time. Specifically, the likely scenarios of post-Rapture America are most troubling to consider. For the moment, I want us to think on one of the situations that would develop in the United States if the Rapture of the Church should take place at this present hour: What if the Rapture happens right in the middle of this presidential election year? As the days leading up to November 3, 2020, pass, the nation becomes more divided than ever in the view of America's future. Should we continue to go the way of socialism? Should we allow the people into the public treasury, thus buying votes for the give-away society and culture that Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio Cortez propose and that the Democrat Party and mainstream media seems to want? Or should the United States embrace getting back to the way the Founding Fathers intended-the Constitutional republic they framed that caused Benjamin Franklin to quip, "We have given you a republic...if you can keep it." By every estimate, it looks as if the president will win the election by, at a minimum, a near landslide. The opposition is so crazed in their abject hatred for the man who occupies the Oval Office that they have gone off track and are headed for a crash. That's the way even James Carville, the Clinton-era Democrat guru who gave us the phrase, "It's the economy, stupid," has described his own party's current condition. But "What if...?" What if, just before the day of the election, the Rapture occurs-catastrophically affecting those who are left behind? More than half of the president's voter base would be gone in that instant. What a thing to consider! There would be no doubt about the outcome of the 2020 presidential election if that scenario played out. The disappearance of most of Trump's supporters would be a dream come true for the "resisters"-the "let's-change-America" masses. It would be an absolute nightmare for those who support bringing America back to the constitutional republic Ben Franklin and the Founding Fathers envisioned. But, the political consequences would be small potatoes compared to the consequences for the individual souls left behind to face the horrors soon to come in America and upon the entire world. And, this is the message I intend to deliver. As I mentioned above, I hope you will convey the message as a real possibility that might come to pass; it is your job as a royal ambassador. As an ambassador for Jesus Christ, according to all the signals, you are about to be called home. So, it is incumbent on you to proclaim the message while you remain on this fallen planet. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God. (2 Corinthians 5:20) Islamic Jihad Looking To Provoke Armed Conflict With Israel - By Steve Emerson/Algemeiner.com - https://www.prophecynewswatch.com/article.cfm?recent_news_id=3876 Despite recent Israeli concessions to Palestinians in Gaza, terrorists escalated attacks against the Jewish state over recent days. On Sunday, two Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) operatives planted an improvised explosive device on the Israel-Gaza border. Israeli soldiers saw them and opened fire, killing one of them and wounding the other. Using a bulldozer, the military retrieved the body to keep as leverage in negotiations for two Israeli men and the bodies of two Israeli soldiers held in captivity. Throughout Sunday and Monday, Gaza-based terrorists -- mainly the PIJ -- indiscriminately launched dozens of rockets at Israel. Following an initial missile onslaught, Israel responded by targeting PIJ terrorist infrastructure in Gaza and Syria. It is rare that Israel targets the Damascus-based PIJ leadership, Iran's main Palestinian proxy. Israel's retaliation can also be viewed as part of its broader campaign to degrade and destroy pro-Iranian elements seeking to entrench their positions in Syria. Israel has been preparing to face repercussions for escalating strikes against Iranian targets in neighboring countries. Israel "will regret" its attacks, which "will not pass without a response," a senior adviser to Iran's supreme leader warned last month. Israel is suspected of recently escalating strikes against increasingly emboldened Iranian proxies and partners around Syria's eastern border and even inside Iraq itself, signaling a major shift in Israel's strategy. Most of Israel's strikes against Iranian allies in the region have focused on Iraqi Shia militias or Lebanese Hezbollah. Targeting PIJ's leadership in Syria sends another strong signal that Israel's adversaries are not immune to retaliation irrespective of where they reside. As PIJ escalated rocket fire, Israel targeted several PIJ bases in Gaza including a team reportedly setting up to fire rockets. Four terrorists were injured as a result. Throughout this flare-up, Israel has carefully targeted militant infrastructure and personnel. Palestinian terrorists, on the other hand, indiscriminately target Israeli civilians in an effort to spread fear across Israeli society. Beyond trying to coerce further concessions from Israel, the PIJ is also driven by internal organizational dynamics. As Israel and Hamas continue to seek a longer-term ceasefire, largely through Egyptian mediation, the PIJ feels sidelined among the wider Palestinian national movement. The PIJ is either trying to strategically spoil ongoing negotiations or force Hamas into a war it does not want to fight or both. Palestinian terrorism against Israelis is often a product of infighting among competing factions -- a competition over who can challenge Israel most effectively in an effort to lead the Palestinian constituency. In November, Israel assassinated the PIJ's de facto leader in Gaza, Baha Abu Al-Ata, after he orchestrated numerous attacks against Israel that year, including a barrage of rockets in May. Unlike Hamas, PIJ is not responsible for governing the Gaza Strip and rejects Hamas' efforts to reach a longer-term deal with Israel. After the targeted killing, PIJ launched more than 360 rockets at Israel. Similar to the previous round of fighting, Hamas chose to stay out of this week's conflict. That decision may erode its image as the main challenge to Israel and exposed Hamas' difficulty in reining in rival Palestinian terrorist activities in Gaza. Beyond challenges from within the Palestinian national movement, Hamas faces growing dissatisfaction with its rule among Gaza's residents, who it actively represses using brutal means. To distract its constituency and challenge Israel, Hamas also sets the tempo for near-weekly border demonstrations that involve violent attacks and terrorist infiltration attempts. The killing of a PIJ operative planning to bomb Israeli soldiers is the latest terrorist fatality at the volatile Israel-Gaza border. From March 2018 through mid-2019, approximately 187 Palestinians were killed at the Israel-Gaza border -- 150 (80%) of whom were members or affiliates of terrorist organizations. About half of those killed are either associated with Hamas or are full-fledged members. Several others were affiliated with rival Palestinian groups, including the PIJ. If the PIJ continues to provoke Israeli retaliations, Hamas leaders may feel as if there's no choice but to join their Palestinian rivals or risk being viewed as Israeli collaborators. A ceasefire was agreed to late Monday night. Minutes later, however, terrorists started firing more missiles at southern Israeli communities. Tensions remain high, as several Israeli leaders warn that a full-fledged war may erupt if rocket fire persists. Israel's Election: What Do the Iranians and Palestinians Want? - by Bassam Tawil - https://www.gatestoneinstitute.org/15646/israel-election-iranians-palestinians The Palestinians are doing their absolute utmost to ensure that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his Likud Party do not win in Israel's general election on Monday, March 2. The Palestinian Authority (PA) in the West Bank, and Hamas in the Gaza Strip, seem to have endorsed the banner of Netanyahu's political rivals in Israel: "Anyone but Bibi (Netanyahu's nickname)." The two Palestinian groups perceive Netanyahu as a major threat to their dream of destroying Israel and as someone who has further strengthened Israel's standing in the international arena. In a last-minute, apparently desperate attempt to undermine the current Israeli prime minister's chances of winning another election, the PA has launched a public relations campaign to explain to the Israeli public why they should not vote for Netanyahu. The campaign, orchestrated personally by PA President Mahmoud Abbas, aims to scare Israeli voters by warning them that casting their ballots for Netanyahu would mean the end of the Middle East "peace process" -- a euphemism for Palestinians retaking territory "from the [Jordan] River to the [Mediterranean] Sea " -- or, in other words, all of Israel, as set forth in the 1974 Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) Phased Plan, which advocates accepting any land one can and then using that as a base from which to acquire the rest. Abbas's latest attempt to scare the Israeli public began earlier this month, when he dispatched 20 Palestinian officials to a meeting with Israeli "peace activists" in Tel Aviv. Organized by a left-wing anti-Netanyahu group called the Israeli Peace Parliament, the meeting was held under the banner: "Two States for Two People" and "No to Annexation." (The "annexation" refers to Netanyahu's plan to apply Israeli law to some parts of the West Bank, particularly the Jordan Valley and several Jewish communities). Abbas sent his officials to Tel Aviv for the meeting not to promote peace with Israel, but evidently to convince Israelis not to vote for Netanyahu. That is what one concludes by listening to the statements of the Palestinians who attended the "peace" gathering. These officials included former Palestinian cabinet ministers and parliament members, as well as senior officials of Abbas's ruling Fatah faction. Although the meeting in Tel Aviv was also held under the banner, "Yes to Peace," the Palestinian (and Israeli) speakers devoted most of their speeches to condemning US President Donald Trump's recently unveiled plan for Middle East peace. The speakers also spent much of their time bad-mouthing Netanyahu and depicting him as a "threat" to peace and stability in the region. The Palestinians who attended the meeting did not offer an alternative to the peace plan. The only "plan" they came with to Tel Aviv is one that sees Israel submit unconditionally to all of Abbas's demands: for the present, a full Israeli withdrawal to the armistice lines of 1949, the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with east Jerusalem as its capital. The message the Palestinians were hoping to send to Israeli voters through the meeting seemed to be: "Vote for a candidate who will accept all of our demands and dictates, or else we, the Palestinians, will make you sorry that you didn't." In yet another attempt to influence the upcoming Israeli election, Abbas ordered his so-called Palestinian Committee for Interaction with Israeli Society, a group consisting of several PLO and Fatah officials and pundits, to invite prominent Israeli (Jewish) journalists to Ramallah, the present de facto Palestinian capital in the West Bank, for a tour of the city and meetings with senior Palestinian officials. Abbas and his associates went out of their way to pamper the journalists and make sure they felt happy and comfortable in Ramallah, to a point where religiously observant journalists were even offered kosher food ordered from a nearby Jewish village. Why did Abbas invite the journalists to Ramallah? To inform them that Palestinians want peace -- and are even ready to sign a peace agreement with Israel within the next two weeks! Ready, that is, if -- and only if -- the Israeli government agrees to Abbas's demands and retreats to the pre-1967 lines, where in 1949, fighting had stopped. Abbas and his officials, in short, are telling the Israelis: "Look, we have a problem here. This man, Netanyahu, will not surrender to us -- and that is why you need to elect a new leader." Although Palestinian officials have not said so openly, they have made it clear that they would prefer to see Netanyahu's rivals in the Blue and White Party in power. The Palestinians are apparently convinced that it would be easier to extort concessions from inexperienced politicians such as Benny Gantz, Moshe Ya'alon and Gabi Ashkenazi. For the Palestinians, Netanyahu is a hard nut to crack. His strong stance against their tactics of intimidation have been a source of concern. Abbas and his officials have made it clear that they want nothing to do with any Israeli leader who calls them out for their lies and double-talk. Abbas, not surprisingly, would doubtless prefer Israelis to replace Netanyahu with a weak leader who would comply with all his demands and take Israel back to the indefensible pre-1967 armistice lines -- a move that would most likely result in Hamas, Islamic Jihad and Iran sitting on the West Bank hilltops overlooking Israel's Ben Gurion International Airport. The Palestinians appear to want an Israeli leader who will also not call them out for paying salaries and stipends to Palestinian terrorists and their families for murdering Jews, and who will not call them out for their continued hostile incitement against Israel. They also appear to want an Israeli leader who will not have such strong and close relations with the US. The Palestinians, in addition, seem to be hoping for an Israeli leader who will not be able to promote normalization between Israel and diverse Arab states -- as Netanyahu has successfully managed to do in the past few years, and who will not boost Israel's standing in the international community or hold close ties with world leaders such as Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump, as Israel's current prime minister does. Similarly, Iran and its Palestinian proxies, Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad, appear desperate to see Netanyahu voted out of office. For them, Netanyahu is a nightmare: he actively and effectively blocks their ongoing attempts to extend their control over the region, in Syria, Yemen, Lebanon and Iraq. The Iranians are angry about Israeli airstrikes on their bases and those of their Hezbollah and Palestinian Islamic Jihad allies in Syria. Netanyahu has been doing his utmost to prevent Iran from taking over Syria and bringing its threat against Israel closer to Israel's border. Iran, it seems, has ordered Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad to resume their terror attacks against Israel from the Gaza Strip one week before the election. The terrorist groups in the Gaza Strip and their masters in Tehran seem persuaded that upgrading their attacks against Israel will terrorize Israelis into voting Netanyahu out of office. By firing dozens of rockets at Israel this week, the Palestinian terrorists apparently sought to send a message to Israeli voters that they need to elect a new leader because Netanyahu cannot provide them with security and calm. Iran and its Palestinian and Lebanese allies in the Middle East appear to think that if a weak leader replaces Netanyahu, they can continue to amass weapons and complete their scheme of expanding their control over Syria, Lebanon and the Gaza Strip. They seem to view Netanyahu as an obstacle to achieving these objectives. Like many Arabs, Palestinians clearly consider Netanyahu a tough leader who stands up to terrorists' threats and attacks, but they dislike that he has managed to garner a great deal of respect in the international community -- even the President of the Sovereignty Council of Sudan, Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, openly met with him in public. The terrorists of the Middle East have always despised Netanyahu. They pray for the day that he is ousted from office -- whether by the ballot box or by the courts, for accepting cigars and champagne from his friends. If that happens, Iran, Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad and Hezbollah will no doubt celebrate -- publicly passing out candies, as they often do each time a Jew is killed or injured in a terrorist attack. The Palestinians' attempt to influence Israeli voters is not only a bid at meddling in the internal affairs of Israel, but also a dangerous attempt to persuade Israelis to choose a weak and inexperienced leader whom they believe they can play for a fool and control through terrorism and threats. It is up to Israel's voters which way they will go. Floods, Coronavirus, Locusts, and Earthquakes: Pre-Purim Wave of Natural Catastrophes Hits Iran - By Adam Eliyahu Berkowitz - www.breakingisraelnews.com King Ahasuerus imposed tribute on the mainland and the islands. Esther 10:1 (The Israel Bible™) Authorities warned residents in the western province of Lorestan to evacuate their homes as heavy rainfalls caused flooding in some towns. Some 37 villages were inaccessible and some 100 villages were cut off from the power grid. Iran is entering its rainy season. Record rainfalls at this time last year caused flash flooding, leading to over 77 deaths and almost 800 injured. An estimated $2 billion of damage was reported. The severity of the floods was greatly increased due to the conversion of flood routes and dry river beds for urban development without providing proper drainage infrastructure. Over two million people were affected by the floods. While western Iran is coping with floods, southern Iran is bracing for an infestation of locusts. The swarms are rampaging across Africa, taking on Biblical proportions that have not been seen in several decades. Many populations already suffering from food shortages are being hard hit. The swarm is spreading and is already at the border of China and now threaten Iran as well. According to the official IRNA news agency, Mohammad Reza Dargahi, the head of the Plant Protection Organization of Iran, has also warned that failure in controlling the locusts will jeopardize billions of dollars of Iranian agricultural products. Mohammad Reza Mir, the agricultural expert in the Plant Protection Organization of Iran, acknowledged that an infestation is imminent but denied that it was a significant threat. "We are well equipped and prepared to fight these pests," Mir said, adding that pesticides have been adequately supplied. These natural catastrophes come in the wake of a Magnitude 5.7 earthquake struck the Turkey-Iran border region early Sunday. The earthquake was followed by three aftershocks between magnitude-4.1 and magnitude-4.4 and eleven hours later by an even larger 6.0 aftershock. The earthquake was widely felt in Iran and 51 people were reportedly injured in the quake. Iranian officials haven't reported any deaths yet. Iran and Turkey sit on top of a major fault line between the Arabian and Eurasian tectonic plates and are among the most earthquake-prone countries in the world. In November 2017 a 7.3-magnitude tremor in the western province of Kermanshah, Iran killed 620 people. In 2003, a 6.6-magnitude quake in southeast Iran decimated the ancient mud-brick city of Bam and killed at least 31,000 people. It did not damage the nearby plant. Iran's deadliest quake was a 7.4-magnitude tremor in 1990 that killed 40,000 people in northern Iran, injured 300,000 and left half a million homeless. Many of these earthquakes are in the Bushehr province in which Iran's nuclear power plant is located, the most recent in January. Iran is the hardest-hit country by the coronavirus outside of China, with the government announcing that 12 people had died from the virus and an additional 61 infections had been diagnosed. The pandemic in Iran has focused on the holy Shia city of Qom. Iranian officials are blaming travelers from China for the spread of the disease. But these data have been questioned. The Guardian and AFP cited the semi-official ILNA news agency that reported the claims of Ahmad Amirabadi Farahani, a government official from the city of Qom, as saying that at least 50 people have died in that city alone. Farahani claimed that 250 people are quarantined in the city. Pakistan, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Armenia have either partially or entirely closed their borders to Iran and at least one crossing point with Kuwait was closed. On Sunday, Pakistan and Turkey closed their borders with Iran due to the rapid spread of the coronavirus in the Islamic Republic and the unwillingness of Iranian leaders to be clear on the extent of the threat. Iraq had already conducted some border closures and bans on Iranians traveling to the country. Afghanistan and Armenia also closed their borders with Iran. It should be noted that all these woes are appearing as the Jews enter the Hebrew month of Adar in which the holiday of Purim is celebrated. Purim commemorates the victory of the Jews over Haman, an Achaemenid Persian Empire official who was planning to kill all the Jews, as recounted in the Book of Esther. The event is usually dated to the 4th century BCE. A Breaking Israel News report last month described how the U.S. drone strike that killed Gen. Qasem Soleimani and ten of his cohorts left behind little to identify his body. Soleimani's death was confirmed by the remains of his arm, still wearing a large red ring he never removed. Haman was also noted for wearing the king's signet ring. Thereupon the king removed his signet ring from his hand and gave it to Haman son of Hammedatha the Agagite, the foe of the Yehudim. Esther 3:10 The Book of Esther culminates in Haman being hanged along with his ten sons, and the Jews successfully defending themselves against their Persian enemies. Daily Jot: The Farm Chronicles-Shredded Birthday Shirt - Bill Wilson - www.dailyjot.com When I was 10, my dad, mom and myself along with some friends went on a trip to Lexington, Ky., to a quarter horse sale in early 1966. This was quite an experience because my parents wanted me to have a good horse for 4-H and showing. Dad spent $825 on My Holly String, a quarter horse mare, who was speed-rated on the track and had 90 days cutting horse training. It was the most we ever spent on a horse and I was so excited to get her home and start training for the show season. She was a quick learner and we began going to the early spring shows. All was fine as we were placing high in the competition and adding different types of classes. But we had a little set back that kind of snow-balled. In a trail class, horses are judged on how they handle obstacles that might be found on the trail. One of such is a 24-inch jump. Holly took the jump like a jack rabbit and probably cleared it by three feet. But when she landed, I landed in the saddle wrong and my belt buckle broke my hand. That was the beginning of a long summer. First, there was the 4-H trail ride. Several of the kids wanted to race up the long gas well driveway in Rootstown to see whose horse was fastest. I tried to talk them out of it, but no, they had to know. I learned that you can take the race horse off the track, but you might not take the race out of the horse. I was a pretty scrawny kid with a broken arm and I did my best to hold her back. They were a couple hundred yards ahead, when Holly broke loose from my grip and beat them all. We all got into trouble for that. With a broken arm, it's difficult to hold a horse that is set on winning a race. It was something we had to work on. So over the next few weeks, we worked on control and also going over jumps. One summer day some of my horse buddies came over to go for a ride. We had over 100 acres with a lot of old trails. There was a path through the woods that was great for galloping. And once again, these friends decided to race to the barn (always a bad idea) and much to my protests, they broke ahead. I held Holly back pretty well. The others had high-tailed up and around the trees into the opening to the field, and I could see them rounding the pond headed to the barn. I was doing the best I could with one hand to hold Holly back. Holly was fighting to run. She reared up and launched like a rocket. At that point, I was just the passenger. Rather than staying on the gallop path, she bolted to the left, nearly threw me, and cut right through a patch of thorn trees. Hanging on for dear life, I was praying to make it to the barn in one piece. When we got back to the barn, everyone was laughing at me. In raking through the thorn trees, my hat was mangled, my face was all scratched up, my jeans ripped, and the cowboy shirt I had recently gotten for my birthday was shredded to pieces. I must have been quite the sight. Well, after a rough start, Holly turned out to win a lot of ribbons and trophies. Proverbs 21:31 says, "The horse is prepared against the day of battle: but safety is of the Lord." I've a lot of stories about horses, and most of them prove this proverb to be very true. Daily Devotion: From Worry to Worship - by Greg Laurie - www.harvest.org But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.-Matthew 6:33 Awhile back I was driving somewhere with my wife when we realized that I lost both my cell phone and wallet. We decided to try the phone using its "find my phone" feature. And sure enough, it showed up at a certain spot. There was my phone, with my wallet next to it. So we scooped them up and gave thanks to God. We sought those items out. We were going to find them, no matter what. That is the idea of putting God's kingdom first. Jesus said, "But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble" (Matthew 6:33-34 NKJV). If you don't want to live in anxiety, fear, and worry, then put matters in God's hands. Don't give up on this. Seek it above all things. How do you do that? Make your faith stronger. Grow in faith by studying and believing the Word of God. Your faith grows by hearing God's Word and acting on it. Romans 10:17 says, "So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God" (NKJV). When we listen to God's Word, it puts everything in perspective. We see God for who He is. And we see life with all of its challenges for what it is. We see everything as we ought to see it. Instead of worrying, put God and His Word first in your life. Seek Him principally above everything else. Give Him priority. All too often we turn to people for help and forget that we need to turn to the Lord. So place it in God's hands, and trade your worry for worship. FROM THE HEART
