The Black Swan - Pete Garcia - http://www.omegaletter.com/articles/articles.asp?ArticleID=8408
Probably the three most contentious points of scripture are the Creation, Jesus Christ's first advent, and His Second Advent. These are under more attack, by more agencies both inside and out of Christendom than almost any other. The truth is, very few people believe in an actual literal return of our Lord and Savior. It is more akin to that bumper sticker I've seen from time to time that states: "Jesus is coming back, look busy". The "Black Swan Event/Theory" was put forth by a man named Nassim Taleb, who is a Lebanese American that studies randomness and probability. His book, "The Black Swan" is listed as one of the top 12 most influential books since World War II. He applies statistics and mathematics to the probability of events that have occurred and/or to the likeliness that they could occur. I came to understand it (in laymen's terms) to be an unexpected event that should have been seen coming, but couldn't because nothing like it had ever happened before. From Wikipedia: The black swan theory or theory of black swan events is a metaphor that describes an event that is a surprise (to the observer), has a major impact, and after the fact is often inappropriately rationalized with the benefit of hindsight. The theory was developed by Nassim Nicholas Taleb to explain:
An example I've seen used in this: there is a turkey that, for a 1000 days is fed, sheltered, and cared for. On the 1000th day, he (the turkey) finds himself on the chopping block, because that 1000th day just happened to be Thanksgiving. So to the farmer, it was a 'white swan' event because he knew all along that this was the fate of that turkey; to the turkey it is a 'black swan' event because he didn't see it coming. In the Scriptures, we can see this played out in the life of Noah and the prophetic event known as the Flood. Out of the millions (possibly billions) of people on the planet at the time, not one person outside of his family believed him. Can you imagine the faith and perseverance that he must have had to continue to build decade after decade on an enormous boat, warning them about a coming judgment in the form of rain, in which no one had ever seen before. To the world that was then, this was the mother of all 'black swan' events, but only because they rejected God's message and His messenger. The Apostle Peter ties that event (the flood), with the return of Christ and the same type of mentality people have concerning both events. ...knowing this first: that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts, and saying, "Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation." For this they willfully forget: that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of water and in the water, by which the world that then existed perished, being flooded with water. 2 Peter 3:3-6 The King James Version has the underlined phrase "they are willingly ignorant of" which paints a clearer picture of the type of mindset that those who reject God's word, have to become. They have to purpose in their heart to ignore, pervert, or outright reject the message of warning because they don't want to deal with it. See, there are no 'black swan' events to God. God, who exists outside of space and time, can simultaneously see the beginning and the end and all that is in between. So back to the original statement, in that the three most contentious points in Scripture. Let me preface this by saying, that the first thing that had to go out the window was the Inerrancy of Scripture. Once supposed theologians (change agents) were able to insert some doubt into God's word as to what we can take literally and what is 'questionable', the rest was down hill. It began by attacking the Genesis account of Creation. The western civilization was just entering the 'Age of Reason' and neither the Roman Catholic nor the Protestant churches were able to answer the hard questions pertaining to our beginning. The next resurgent attack came on the personhood of Jesus Christ and whether He really was who He said He was. The current popular heresy floating around now days is that Jesus was really a woman named Judith Christ. And there are groups of supposed theologians out there that have debated as to what Christ really said, and what others have attributed Him to saying. There are the 'Red Letter Christians' who selectively pick and choose that which they consider the real Bible, while ignoring Paul's and the other Apostle's teachings as 'too divisive' to be useful. Lastly, there is the eschatology and return of Jesus Christ. There was though, a movement in the 1800's called the "Dispensationalists" who, based solely off of taking a literal reading of God's word, could and did accurately forecast what would have to happen before we entered that 'last generation'. Men like Darby, Scofield, Larkin, and Chafer viewed the unfulfilled prophetic passages as 'futuristic' since there had been no prior fulfillment of these events in historical records. One of those events was the reestablishment of Israel as a nation. To the rest of the world, this was a 'black swan' event since Israel had not been a nation in almost 2,000 years. But, since these 'Dispensationalists' were taking God at His literal word; it wasn't a matter of 'if' it could happen, but when. Again, the Apostle Peter reassures us that we have a 'more sure word of prophecy' in His word, than even Peter himself who had seen Christ's Transfiguration first hand. For most of the Age of the Church (from Augustine until 1948), both majorities of Protestant and Catholic churches were Amillennial...i.e....that there was no future millennial reign of Christ on the earth as stated in Isaiah 65, Daniel 2, Psalm 2, and Revelation 20. So when Israel became a nation again, it forced these churches to address their traditions in light of current events. For many who adhered to Amillennialism embraced 'Replacement Theology'. In doing so, they became 'willingly ignorant' of God's promises to the nation of Israel and of the distinctions between Israel and the Church. Aside from the outright rejection of Israel as a sign that the end of the age is drawing to a close, there have been numerous 'theories' as to when and how Christ should (or not) return for His Church. I think this is part of a 'divide and conquer' method of attack by Satan on the Church at large, to introduce confusion and ultimately, disillusionment with the nearness of His return. I've talked to a large number of Christians who have heard so many different viewpoints about when and how Christ will return, that they've just thrown their hands up in the air and said "Whatever". They've become 'pan-millennialist' in their eschatology (it will all pan out in the end, so why bother). It is a sad state of affairs when a large portion of the professing Church either doesn't know or doesn't care when their Savior is set to return. But concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need that I should write to you. For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. For when they say, "Peace and safety!" then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape. But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief. You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness. 1 Thessalonians 5:1-5 Notice the shifts between the second person and third person grammatical usages of 'you', 'they', and 'them'? We, who have been born again into the Body of Christ can take solace and comfort in the fact that our God has not left us to wade wearily into an unknown future. We can know what is coming, because He has put it in His word to us. The Rapture of the Church will be the ultimate 'Black Swan' event for this world because they too have rejected God's message and His messengers. Like the doomed Antediluvian world, that day and hour will come like a 'thief in the night' and will wreak havoc on an already stressed system. But we, as instructed, should watch, and be ready so as not to be caught off guard. And even though we don't know the exact day and hour, we should know the season we are in because of the signs of the times. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day -and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing. 2 Timothy 4:8 (NIV) IDF Chief of Staff: Next War Will Be with Hezbollah - By Ilana Messika - https://www.breakingisraelnews.com/85297/idf-chief-staff-next-war-will-hezbollah/#9E7e4h4x2k7UVbib.97
"A time to love, and a time to hate; a time for war, and a time for peace." Ecclesiastes 3:8 (The Israel Bible™) IDF Chief of Staff Gadi Eizenkot said Sunday that Israel's next war would be fought against Hezbollah, the Lebanese terror group that currently operates in in the Bekaa Valley, the southern suburbs of Beirut and southern Lebanon, adjacent to the Israeli border. Speaking at a ceremony marking the transfer of leadership over the IDF Northern Command from Maj. Gen. Aviv Kochavi to Maj. Gen. Yoel Strick, Eizenkot said the IDF was not fooled by the recent silence from Hezbollah and that the IDF continues to follow developments in Lebanon and Syria with extreme vigilance. "The Hezbollah group continues in its efforts to mobilize and arm itself with increasingly precise and deadly weaponry in order to harm the Israeli heartland. We endeavor to protect the security interests [of Israel] and operate in order to prevent transfer of advanced weapons to Hezbollah, and we will continue to do so in the future," Eisenkot said. In 2006 the two sides fought a 50-day war after Hezbollah kidnapped three Israeli soldiers in a cross-border attack. The Israeli air force destroyed much of Hezbollah's military capability during the fighting but the group has steadily increased its strength over the ensuing years. More recently, the terror group has kept the border with Israel quiet, but military officials in Israel view Hezbollah as a well-trained, well-equipped army. The group has taken an active role in the Syrian civil war, with Hezbollah forces fighting to keep President Bashar al-Assad in power. At the same time, Iran has helped the group expand its missile capability, both in terms of quantity and quality, and Hezbollah members have gained valuable combat experience in Syria. Eizenkot's remarks followed a report yesterday (Sunday) by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights confirming that Israeli warplanes bombed a car on a road last Friday near the Syrian town of Quneitra, located in the Golan Heights near the Israeli border. The driver was killed in the attack, but neither Damascus nor Jerusalem has responded to the report. Also last week, IAF aircraft attacked and destroyed a shipment of what has been reported as a strategic weapons shipment destined for Hezbollah. The IDF spokesperson confirmed the attack, but did not release any information relating to the target. The attack was in response to the Arrow missile defense system successfully intercepting incoming Syrian missile as an apparent message to Russian President Vladimir Putin that Israel will act to block weapons shipments and will not tolerate Iranian involvement near the Syria-Israel border. Netanyahu met with Putin on March 9 to discuss Iran's aspirations to establish dominion over parts of Syria, including plans to construct a naval base at Latakia, following the conclusion of the civil war. Netanyahu told Putin that Israel does not oppose any political arrangement for Syria as long as doesn't include the permanent presence of Iran or one of its proxies near the Israeli border. The prime minister and Defense Minister Liberman have repeatedly stated that Israel will not permit Iran to transfer advanced weaponry to Hezbollah and would act to defend the country's security. Incoming Maj. Gen. Yoel Strick stated that the reality in the north continues to shift at a very rapid pace and that the IDF will continue to enhance deterrence capabilities to prevent war. But added that if war should be break out the army would respond with determination and force. Kochavi also emphasized a turbulent Middle East, but also said that Israel strives to maintain a unique balance of military strength with humanitarian concern. "On one hand, [we] thwart enemy cells, and on the other [we] bring wounded civilians and children from an enemy country to Israel for medical treatment," Kochavi said. Kochavi will be promoted to deputy Chief of Staff. Syria And Israel - One Missile Away from Conflict - http://www.prophecynewswatch.com/article.cfm?recent_news_id=1106
The firing of S-200 missiles by Syria at Israeli air force planes on Thursday night marked a significant escalation in the ongoing conflict between the two nations, who are technically still at war. Over the past few years there has been several airstrikes carried out by Israel against targets in Syria, most believed to be related to weapons transfers to Hezbollah. Both Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman have stated publicly that Israel will do whatever is necessary to prevent "game changing weapons" getting into the hands of this terrorist group. Israel does not usually confirm or deny such attacks, but it was forced to do so this time by the circumstances of the incident, including the firing of the Arrow defense system. The Arrow's first-ever operational interception was the result of Syria's air-defense forces launching a long-rane S-200 missile in an attempt to shoot down Israeli planes. Syria's military has claimed it downed one of the Israeli planes and hit another, however Israel denies any of it's planes were hit. The loud explosion that many residents of the region heard as far away as Jerusalem was the interception by the Arrow 2 missile, which was forced to fire due to the long rang missile endangering civilian populations. The Syrian retaliatory missile launch occurred when IAF aircraft had already passed into Israeli airspace and had now become a direct threat to civilian populations. Parts of the missile have been found in Jordan which also forced Israel to issue an official explanation for the event. Many analysts believe the firing of the missile demonstrates a new confidence by Assad in the region after winning several key battles with rebels and ISIS, including the important city of Aleppo. Perhaps even more important is the strategic backing of Russia which seems to guarantee his survival as Syria's continued leader. With this being the most serious incident between the two countries in many years, the big question is what happens next time? Arms shipments to Hezbollah are unlikely to stop and neither is Israel's response to what it says are "red lines" that can't be crossed. Israeli Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman may have already answered the question when he responded to the incident on Sunday threatening to destroy Syrian air defense systems should they fire on Israel again. How Russia Is Turning Syria into a Major Naval Base for Nuclear Warships (and Israel Is Worried) - Michael Peck - http://nationalinterest.org/blog/the-buzz/how-russia-turning-syria-major-naval-base-nuclear-warships-19813
During the 1970s, the Syrian naval base of Tartus became a major port servicing warships of the Soviet Union's Fifth Mediterranean squadron. The Soviet Union is gone, and so is Syria as a unified nation. But Russia is back, and it's building up Tartus again as a naval base that can handle Russia's largest nuclear-powered ships. Already, Israel says the Tartus base is affecting its naval operations. U.S. and NATO operations could be next. Under the forty-nine-year agreement inked late last year by Russia and Syria, "the maximum number of the Russian warships allowed at the Russian naval facility at one time is 11, including nuclear-powered warships, providing that nuclear and ecological security rules are observed," according to Russia's RT news site. Russia will also be allowed to expand port facilities to accommodate the vessels. The specification allowing nuclear-powered warships means that Russia wants to be able to base in Syria large surface ships, namely Kirov-class nuclear-powered battle cruisers, as well as nuclear submarines. In addition, the treaty allows "Russia is allowed to bring in and out any kind of 'weaponry, ammunition, devices and materials' to provide security for the facility staff, crew, and their families throughout the territory of the Syrian Arab Republic 'without any duties or levies,'" according to RT. Expansion of the port will take about five years, according to an anonymous source cited in Russia's Sputnik News. "The source added that the works would focus on dredging operations to allow cruisers and even possibly aircraft carriers to use the facility's infrastructure," Sputnik News reported. "According to the source, Russia also needs to develop the facility's ground infrastructure, through construction of canalization, electricity generation facilities and barracks for the servicemen." Sputnik News also listed other provisions of the agreement. These include: * Russia will be responsible for sea and air security of the base, while Syria handles the land defenses. * Russia can deploy "temporary mobile outposts" beyond the base, as long as they coordinate them with the Syrians. * Russia can renovate the base at will, including underwater construction, and build offshore platforms. * Upon Syrian request, Russia will send specialists to service Syrian warships, conduct search and rescue in Syrian waters, and organize the defense of Tartus. * Syria agrees not to "make any objections related to the military activities of the base, which will also be beyond Damascus' jurisdiction." * "Syria also pledges to solve any conflicts that may arise if a third party objects to the activities of the base." The Tartus deal is significant on several levels. For starters, the explicit mention of Tartus servicing nuclear-powered ships suggests that Russia may operate its biggest ships in the eastern Mediterranean, such as the nuclear battle cruiser Peter the Great. At the least, it indicates that nuclear submarines could be based at Tartus. That Russia can put deploy outposts beyond the base suggests that Russia will take an expansive view of defending Tartus against rebel attacks. Russia will also be responsible for sea and air security at Tartus. Yet since the Syrian rebels don't have a navy or air force-but the Americans and the Israelis do-this indicates that Moscow is eyeing Tartus through the lens of a possible conflict with outside powers. However, the agreement also contains two contradictory provisions. On the one hand, it bars Syria from objecting to Russian military activities at the base, which will not be under Syrian jurisdiction. So, if Russian ships and aircraft ever decide to harass NATO and Israeli forces in the Mediterranean-just as Russia has done in the Black Sea-then Syria can't stop them. On the other hand, Syria is obligated to "solve any conflicts" if a "third party" objects to the activities at the Tartus base. If this means that the United States or Israel complains, then Syria must resolve the problem-even though it has no jurisdiction over the base or operations conducted from there. In any event, Israel has gotten the message. "There have been instances in which we assessed the situation and changed or chose not to carry out operations," Rear Adm. Dror Friedman, Israeli Navy chief of staff, told the Jerusalem Post. "You see their activities in the field and you see them putting down roots, you see their activities in the Port of Tartus and you understand that this isn't the activity of someone who is planning to pack their bags and leave tomorrow morning." Preaching Only a Part of the Counsel of God - By Daymond Duck - http://www.raptureready.com/2017/03/19/preaching-only-a-part-of-the-counsel-of-god-by-daymond-duck/
God opened the door for me to speak on the subject of Bible prophecy at a small church in northwest Tennessee. A good friend who is a retired university professor showed up. He attends a very large nearby mainline church. Prior to the service he asked me if I knew his pastor. My answer was, "Yes, he graduated from seminary about 40 years ago and has held several important positions in your denomination." My friend said: I have learned many things from the Bible by teaching Sunday school for almost 50 years, but if I ask my pastor about the Rapture, the Tribulation period, the Millennium and things like that, he doesn't know what I am talking about. How can a supposedly educated preacher know absolutely nothing about these Bible teachings? The scribes and the Pharisees thought they found a way to ignore what the Scriptures say about honoring their parents without losing the respect of others in the community. Their solution was to tell everyone they were going to give their possessions to God (Matt. 15:1-5). Jesus accused them of making the Commandment of God of none effect and He called them hypocrites (Matt. 15:6-7). I think He said this because they were rejecting some of the Scriptures and they wanted to cover it up by pretending to be devoted to God. Put another way, these religious leaders were unwilling to accept all of the counsel of God. But they didn't want to be condemned by the public for just accepting part of it. There is a good possibility that the time will come when they will regret this. On his last trip to Ephesus Paul said, "I take you to record this day, that I am pure from the blood of all men. For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God" (Acts 20:26-27). He was determined to preach all that God said because he didn't want to be held accountable for preaching just part of it. If people don't know about the Rapture, the Tribulation period, the Millennium and things like that, it is not Paul's fault and it is not God's fault. It is the fault of preachers and others that are shunning these things in the Bible. Jesus told them to watch, but they refuse to be watchmen (or watchwomen). They refuse to admit that the modern watchman is the preacher. They refuse to preach on some subjects or to condemn some politically "correct" sins. They prefer to ignore some of what God said and try to cover it up by pretending to be broadminded, loving and non-judgmental. In some cases one can almost hear their false piety gushing forth. Not long ago, about fifty pastors read verses from the Koran and sang Muslim songs in their worship services. I am not their judge, but I would hate to be in their shoes or to be responsible to God for what they have done in those churches. It is likely that they deliberately broke the First Commandment in their churches (Exodus 20:3). It is even possible that some not only don't know that the King is coming they also may not know the King as their Savior. They are in danger and they are placing their members in danger. Reading from the Koran or singing Muslim hymns in a church may not have the effect on Jehovah's ears that it has on the ears of the politically correct. We should not ignore God's admonitions to be faithful to the entirety of His teachings found in His Holy Word: "Wherefore I testify unto you this day, that I am pure from the blood of all men. For I shrank not from declaring unto you the whole counsel of God" (Acts 20: 26-27). Prophecy Plus Ministries, Inc. Daymond & Rachel Duck [email protected]
My Review of "Rapture Ready...Or Not?" Over the last 35 years, I have literally read hundreds of books on Bible Prophecy and End Time signs. I especially enjoy books on the Rapture, and I have read almost every Rapture-related book published. In all those years, devouring thousands of pages, and millions of words, I have not read a better book on the Rapture than, Rapture Ready...Or Not? Terry James might be physically blind, but he is spiritually sharp and well discerning beyond most authors. In "Rapture Ready...Or Not?" Terry has nailed the pre-trib Rapture, and removed any doubt what so ever about the Church going through the Tribulation. With great insight and Godly discernment, Terry explains with simple, yet profound words, why and how that he has come to believe the ways he does about the Rapture, the Tribulation, and the End Times scenario. I think after reading "Rapture Ready...Or Not?" you too will believe as Terry does, and be Ready for the Rapture like never before! - Randy Thomas - Publisher / Editor - Prophecy Update For more information and or to get your copy of "Rapture Ready...Or Not?" use this link: http://www.raptureready.com/terry/book35.html Watchman Warning: Envoys of Christ - By Hal Lindsey - http://www.hallindsey.com/ww-3-17-2017/
We rarely associate the Lord God Almighty with the term "Public Relations." PR is generally a shallow and vain pursuit - and there's nothing shallow or vain about God. But many scriptures in both the Old and New Testaments show God's unique interest in the topic. Don't misunderstand. God doesn't measure Himself by our opinions. To do so is the very definition of human vanity and lostness. It is nothing like God. He doesn't judge Himself by "job approval" numbers, or His popularity among human big-shots. He obviously wasn't trying to impress the elites when He sent His Son to be born in a stable, or to die on a cross. So why would God feel any concern over what people think of Him? I'll tell you why. Because He loves us. The quality of each human life - now and forever - depends on each person's relationship with God. Since He loves us, He naturally wants us to experience the benefits of knowing Him. We will never have the joy, peace, fulfillment, purpose, and meaning He designed us to experience, unless we are in a right relationship with Him. And from our vantage point, that relationship begins with how we think of Him. Studies show that if you love your human father, odds are far greater that you will never go to prison, and that you will live a happy, productive life. It's the same with your Heavenly Father, only more! What people think of God has a huge impact - not on His quality of life - but on theirs. God's love for humanity compels Him to field an army of PR men and women across the globe. They're known as Christians. Collectively, they're known as the Church. In Matthew 5:14-16 (NASB), Jesus said, "You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do men light a lamp, and put it under the peck-measure, but on the lampstand; and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven." The good works of God's people bring honor to Him. Don't confuse this with salvation. Good works don't save you, but they are important. Ephesians 2:8-10 says, "For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, that no one should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them." That verse shows us that our good works are a byproduct of His good workmanship in us. It's not a matter of trying to make yourself impressive so people will think well of God. It is a matter of living in full fellowship with Him, so that His light will shine through us. Trying to make people impressed with you is a trap. It will tempt you to bend (or even break) His word in an attempt to make it conform to the moral fashions of the moment. Trying to make the Gospel politically correct will always be futile because political correctness changes with the times, but God's word remains forever the same. Our job is not to make people impressed with us, but to live according to His will and His word. If you want to be a good PR person for Christ, follow Philippians 2:15. "Prove yourselves to be blameless and innocent, children of God above reproach in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you appear as lights in the world." Conversely, when the people of God do not live in accordance with His will, it brings reproach on His holy name. Ezekiel 22:26 speaks of the actions of Israel's priests causing God to be profaned. "Her priests have done violence to My law and have profaned My holy things; they have made no distinction between the holy and the profane, and they have not taught the difference between the unclean and the clean; and they hide their eyes from My sabbaths, and I am profaned among them." After David's sin of adultery and then murder, the prophet Nathan said to him, "By this deed you have given occasion to the enemies of the Lord to blaspheme." (2 Samuel 12:14) But even after those unthinkably terrible sins, God forgave David. If you're His, then He has forgiven you of your sins also. If you have not accepted His gift of salvation in Christ, you can. Now is the best time. The Bible does not call us God's PR people. It uses a more noble term. 2 Corinthians 5:20 calls us "ambassadors for Christ." We can be good ambassadors, or bad. We never want to do as David did and give "occasion to the enemies of the Lord to blaspheme." That's one of the reasons it is so important that we follow the admonition of 1 Thessalonians 2:12 - "Walk in a manner worthy of the God who calls you into His own kingdom and glory." A Harvard classmate of the ex "president" and nominated to the court by the ex "president," Hawaii US District Court Judge Derrick Watson was the one who ruled against President Donald Trump's revised travel ban on terrorist sponsoring nations. The ex "president" reportedly made an unexpected trip to Honolulu two days before Watson ruled, causing widespread speculation of a backroom deal. Watson's ruling postulates that Hawaiian universities and tourism overrules security concerns. Pearl Harbor victims might have something to say about that. Watson also infers that Muslim clerics have the Constitutional right to bring anyone they want into the US, whether they have visas or not. But there is more. Central to Watson's ruling was consideration to the plaintiff, who claimed, discrimination to his family in violation of both the Constitution and the INA, denying them their right among other things, "to associate with family members overseas on the basis of their religion and national origin." The plaintiff is Dr. Ismail Elshikh, a local Hawaiian Imam whose mother is a Syrian national "without a visa, who last visited the family in Hawaii in 2005." She would be barred from entering the US unless granted a waiver. Further, Watson said the state of Hawaii's universities would "suffer monetary damages and intangible harms" and the state would lose revenue "due to a decline in tourism" because of the executive order. Watson admitted that Trump's executive order contains no express reference to any religion, nor does it "contain any term or phrase that can be reasonably characterized as having a religious origin or connotation." But Watson says, "The illogic of the Government's contentions is palpable. The notion that one can demonstrate animus toward any group of people only by targeting all of them at once is fundamentally flawed." The judge also cited instances when Candidate Trump said he would ban Muslims until they were fully vetted. So the judge included in his decision to issue a restraining order on the ban because Trump, before he was elected, referred to the action as a Muslim ban. Watson contends by his statements that non-US citizens living abroad have US Constitutional rights. Overall, he ignored the law. The Immigration and Nationality Act of 1952 specifically states in Section 212: "Whenever the President finds that the entry of any aliens or of any class of aliens into the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the United States, he may by proclamation, and for such period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens as immigrants or nonimmigrants, or impose on the entry of aliens any restrictions he may deem to be appropriate." The Lord said in Luke 16:10, "...he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much." Judge Watson has undermined the law and the Constitution. He should be removed from his position. "But you would not listen to me," says the Lord. "You made me furious by worshiping idols you made with your own hands, bringing on yourselves all the disasters you now suffer." -Jeremiah 25:7 Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were Jewish teenagers who ended up as captives in ancient Babylon. Through the years, their people had a propensity to turn to false gods. So the Lord raised up prophets again and again to warn them, but they didn't listen. God even raised up the prophet Jeremiah to tell them that if they didn't stop their idol worship, He would judge them and allow another nation to defeat them in battle and take them captive. Not only did God tell them this would happen, but He also told them which nation would defeat them. The Israelites persisted in ignoring God's warnings, however, and just as He predicted, King Nebuchadnezzar overtook them and hauled them off to Babylon as captives. Speaking through Jeremiah, God said to them, "Because you have not listened to me, I will gather together all the armies of the north under King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon, whom I have appointed as my deputy. I will bring them all against this land and its people and against the surrounding nations. I will completely destroy you and make you an object of horror and contempt and a ruin forever" (25:8-9). I can't help but think that God has been giving warnings to our own nation as well. How long will people in the United States continue to thumb their noses at God? How long will they continue to mock Christians and mock the Word of God? Do they not think that God could allow another nation to defeat us? Do they not think that we could reap the inevitable consequences of our sin? We could. I believe the Lord is warning our nation. And I think we have two options before us in the United States: judgment or revival. I hope it's the latter. FROM THE HEART

But don't be discouraged or disillusioned. The coming turmoil will provide us unrivaled opportunities to share the good news of the Gospel. So be ready to share your faith and your hope with those who need Christ. We still have time to reap a great harvest of souls for God's kingdom!" - Hal Lindsey 1) We need your prayers!- We proclaim the Truth of the Word of God and we are under constant spiritual and sometimes even physical attack. 2) We need your encouragement!- We need to hear from you, let us know how the Lord is blessing you through this ministry so that we can share it with others. 3) We need your input! - If you have a prophetic article or story or if there is a news related item we missed, let us know. 4) We need your financial support!- To put it quite simply, without your support, there would be no Prophecy Update. I ask that you would prayerfully consider partnering with us to get the Word out and keep the world informed. Remember, your gift, no matter how small, does make a difference! You will be helping to touch lives, around the world, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, thanks to the internet your generosity carries a global impact! - Thanks! Our Prayer for You- "Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. You will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God. This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of God's people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God. Because of the service by which you have proved yourselves, men will praise God for the obedience that accompanies your confession of the gospel of Christ, and for your generosity in sharing with them and with everyone else." 2 Corinthians 9:10-13 Prophecy Update is a 501 (c) (3) tax exempt - non-profit organization, and all your donations are tax deductible.
