In a previous column, I mentioned the interaction between Putin and Netanyahu. Putin informed the Israeli Prime Minister that this wasn't 500 BC. In other words - despite its rhetoric - Iran wasn't planning another Jewish genocide. Putin was brazenly protecting his assets. Russia and Putin have come a long way. One analysis article recently called Vladimir Putin, the New Boss of the Middle East. His leadership presence suggests this to be the case. We can partly thank the Obama Administration for looking the other way and handing him the position. At the time of writing, Russia's Foreign Ministry supposedly summoned the Israeli ambassador to Moscow "to explain an exchange of fire last week between Israeli jets and Syrian government forces." The exchange involved an alleged mission by Israel to destroy a weapons convoy en route to Iranian-proxy Hezbollah. Note: Hezbollah means "Party of God." It is a Lebanese organization of Shiite militants which opposes Israel. It seeks to create a Muslim fundamentalist state modeled on Iran, in Lebanon. Hezbollah describes itself as an "Islamic struggle movement." It opposes the "Zionist occupation of Palestine" and any legitimacy for the existence of Israel. It wouldn't be the first time Israel has struck at Hezbollah-bound convoys. Israel has learned (the hard way) that its survival largely depends on pre-emptive measures. In fact, even the very 500 BC Persian incident alluded to by Putin involved pre-emptive action to prevent Haman from realizing his genocidal plan. But (at least according to Haaretz) the New Boss is now putting his Russian boot down: Russia has sent a clear message to Israel that the rules of the game have changed in [ally] Syria and its freedom to act in Syrian skies is over, Syria's ambassador to the United Nations said on Sunday night. (Emphasis mine) Note that Israel has since denied that this is the case. The Syrian civil war began in 2011 with no resolution yet in sight. The I AM SYRIA website reports that up to 470,000 civilians have died (including 55,000 children) to date. Some estimates are higher. Getty Images give some idea of the massive destruction in Syria. Be warned that some of these are graphic and disturbing. A good summary on the state of affairs and complex nature of the Syrian conflict has been presented by USA Today's Foreign affairs reporter Oren Dorell. He ties in the main players: Russia, Iran, Syria; the ever-fluid position of Turkey, the Kurds, al Qaeda and ISIS. Whether or not Putin warned Israel isn't the real issue, the last thing he wants is Israeli military presence in the Syrian mess he's trying to iron out. Neither does he want an Israeli strike against Iran. Unfortunately, Putin's allies aren't content to focus solely on solving regional conflict. Part of the Iran-Syria-Hezbollah coalition's "multi-tasking effort" is - and always has been - to eradicate Zionist Israel. To that end, could Russia's allies take advantage of Putin's regional ambitions and use them against Israel? They know he will ultimately back them. If the Obama administration facilitated Russian expansionism, Putin could be indirectly facilitating his allies' anti-Zionist goals. For different reasons, Eastern Europe has expressed concerns as well. Late last year Putin announced plans to "move nuclear-capable missiles closer to Europe in response to NATO's expansion in the Baltic states." Even traditionally neutral Sweden responded that they were "dusting off their own Cold War-era weapons to boost defenses on the Baltic coastline." The Haaretz article linked to above also reports of moves to establish an Iranian port in the area of Tartus and Latakia in Syria, and the construction of plants in order to manufacture rockets for Hezbollah in Lebanon. This project helps circumvent Israeli strikes on Syrian truck convoys bound for Hezbollah. It also raises the ante. Not only does this worry Israel, but the port alarms the European Union. Russia and Syria have entered into agreement to build up this Naval Base together. Considering the criticism often leveled at tiny Israel's pre-emptive measures to protect itself, there has to be some irony in Europe's concern over Russia and Iran. As far as Bible prophecy is concerned, there continue to be a number of dynamics spinning around like jigsaw puzzle bits waiting to be placed on the board. How will Israel's oil and gas discoveries affect future scenarios involving Russia and company? How will Islamic expansion into Europe and changing demographics play into all this? Will some leader emerge to save Europe from itself and Russia? How will Israel respond to future existential threats from Hezbollah, Syria and Iran? What will Putin do to defend Russia's interests? Nearly every day brings something new and foreboding. No one has a solution to these compounding problems. Regardless of how one views the Gog-Magog conflict, or end-time players' identities - the Big Picture appears (to me) to be rapidly taking shape. What we're seeing aligns with a literal prophetic understanding of a future conflict involving Israel, before Christ's Second Advent. Could we be surging forward to that event? For the moment, Putin seems to be calling the shots. However, he enjoys this position because God sovereignly allows it. The same is true of the other world leaders. Whatever political aspirations current leaders have in the region, there is only one true King. And He is coming. Jesus Christ is King of kings and Lord of lords (Rev 19:16). All knees will eventually bow to Him, whether in heaven, on earth, or under the earth (Phil 2:10). Shout joyfully before the LORD, the King. Let the sea roar, and all its fullness, the world and those who dwell in it; Let the rivers clap their hands; Let the hills be joyful together before the LORD, for He is coming to judge the earth. With righteousness He shall judge the world, and the peoples with equity. Psalm 98:6-9 Have we placed our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ for the redemption of our sins (John 3:16-18)? How do we think we'll be judged when the King comes (or if we die first)? Time is running out.

What can be done about Iran? In Israel, a dispute is reportedly raging between the IDF and the Mossad about the greatest threat facing Israel. IDF Chief of General Staff Lt.-Gen. Gadi Eisenkot thinks that Hezbollah is the greatest threat facing Israel. Mossad Director Yossi Cohen thinks Iran's nuclear program is the greatest danger facing the Jewish state. While the media highlight the two men's disagreement, the underlying truth about their concerns has been ignored. Hezbollah and Iran's nuclear program are two aspects of the same threat: the regime in Tehran. Hezbollah is a wholly owned subsidiary of the regime. If the regime disappeared, Hezbollah would fall apart. As for the nuclear installations, in the hands of less fanatical leaders, they would represent a far less acute danger to global security. So if you undermine the Iranian regime, you defeat Hezbollah and defuse the nuclear threat. If you fail to deal with the regime in Tehran, both threats will continue to grow no matter what you do, until they become all but insurmountable. So what can be done about Tehran? With each passing day we discover new ways Iran endangers Israel and the rest of the region. This week we learned Iran has built underground weapons factories in Lebanon. The facilities are reportedly capable of building missiles, drones, small arms and ammunition. Their underground location protects them from aerial bombardment. Then there is Hezbollah's relationship to the Lebanese Armed Forces (LAF). For more than a decade, the Americans have been selling themselves the implausible claim that the LAF is a responsible fighting force capable and willing to rein in Hezbollah. Never an easy claim - the LAF provided targeting information to Hezbollah missile crews attacking Israel in 2006 - after Hezbollah domesticated the Lebanese government in 2008, the claim became downright silly. And yet, over the past decade, the US has provided the LAF with weapons worth in excess of $1 billion. In 2016 alone the US gave the LAF jets, helicopters, armored personnel carriers and missiles worth more than $220 million. In recent months, showing that Iran no longer feels the need to hide its control over Lebanon, the LAF has openly stated that it is working hand in glove with Hezbollah. Last November, Hezbollah showcased US M113 armored personnel carriers with roof-mounted Russian anti-aircraft guns, at a military parade in Syria. The next month the Americans gave the LAF a Hellfire missile-equipped Cessna aircraft with day and night targeting systems. Lebanon's President Michel Aoun is a Hezbollah ally. So is Defense Minister Yaacoub Sarraf and LAF commander Gen. Joseph Aoun. Last month President Aoun told Sen. Bob Corker, the chairman of the US Senate Foreign Affairs Committee, that Hezbollah serves "a complementary role to the Lebanese army." And yet the Americans insist that it continues to make sense - and to be lawful - to arm the LAF. You can hardly blame them. Denial is an attractive option, given the alternatives. For the past eight years, the Obama administration did everything in its power to empower Iran. To make Iran happy, Obama did nothing as hundreds of thousands of Syrians were killed and millions more were forced to flee their homes by Iran and its puppet Bashar Assad. Obama allowed Iran to take over the Iraqi government and the Iraqi military. He sat back as Iran's Houthi proxy overthrew the pro-US regime in Yemen. And of course, the crowning achievement of Obama's foreign policy was his nuclear deal with the mullahs. Obama's deal gives Iran an open path to a nuclear arsenal in a bit more than a decade and enriches the regime beyond Ayatollah Khamenei's wildest dreams. Obama empowered Iran at the expense of the US's Sunni allies and Israel, and indeed, at the expense of the US's own superpower status in the region, to enable the former president to withdraw the US from the Middle East. Power of course, doesn't suffer a vacuum, and the one that Obama created was quickly filled. For decades, Russia has been Iran's major arms supplier. It has assisted Iran with its nuclear program and with its ballistic missile program. Russia serves as Iran's loyal protector at the UN Security Council. But for all the help it provided Tehran through the years, Moscow never presented itself as Iran's military defender. That all changed in September 2015. Two months after Obama cut his nuclear deal with the ayatollahs, Russia deployed its forces to Syria on behalf of Iran and its Syrian and Lebanese proxies. In so doing, Russia became the leading member and the protector of the Iranian axis. Russia's deployment of forces had an immediate impact not only on the war in Syria, but on the regional power balance as a whole. With Russia serving as the air force for Iran and its Syrian and Hezbollah proxies, the Assad regime's chances of survival increased dramatically. So did Iran's prospects for regional hegemony. For Obama, this situation was not without its advantages. In his final year in office, Obama's greatest concern was ensuring that his nuclear deal with Iran would outlive his presidency. Russia's deployment in Syria as the protector of Iran and its proxies was a means of achieving this end. Russia's alliance with Iran made attacking Iran's nuclear program or its Hezbollah proxy a much more dangerous prospect than it had been before. After all, in 2006, Russia supported Iran and Hezbollah in their war against Israel. But Russia's support for Iran and its Lebanese legion didn't diminish Israel's operational freedom. Israel was able to wage war without any fear that its operations would place it in a direct confrontation with the Russian military. This changed in September 2015. The first person to grasp the strategic implications of the Russian move was Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Netanyahu recognized that with Russian forces on the ground in Syria, the only way for Israel to take even remedial measures to protect itself from Iran and its proxies was to drive a wedge between President Vladimir Putin and the ayatollahs wide enough to enable Israel to continue its raids against weapons convoys to Hezbollah and other targets without risking a confrontation with Russia. This is the reason that Netanyahu boarded a flight to Moscow to speak to Putin almost immediately after the Russian leader deployed his forces to Syria. Israel's ability to continue to strike targets in Syria, whether along the border on the Golan Heights or deep within Syrian territory, is a function of Netanyahu's success in convincing Putin to limit his commitment to his Iranian allies. Since President Donald Trump entered the White House, Iran has been his most urgent foreign policy challenge. Unlike Obama, Trump recognizes that Iran's nuclear program and its threats to US economic and strategic interests in the Persian Gulf and the Levant cannot be wished away. And so he has decided to deal with Iran. The question is, what is he supposed to do? Trump has three basic options. He can cut a deal with Russia. He can act against Iran without cutting a deal with Russia. And he can do nothing, or anemically maintain Obama's pro-Iran policies. The first option has the greatest potential strategic payoff. If Trump can convince Russia to ditch Iran, then he has a chance of dismantling the regime in Tehran and so defusing the Iranian nuclear program and destroying Hezbollah without having to fight a major war. The payoff to Russia for agreeing to such a deal would be significant. But if Trump were to adopt this policy, the US has a lot of bargaining chips that it can use to convince Putin to walk away from the ayatollahs long enough for the US to defuse the threat they pose to its interests. The problem with the Russia strategy is that since Trump defeated Hillary Clinton in the presidential race, the Democrats, their allied media outlets and powerful forces in the US intelligence community have been beset by a Russia hysteria unseen since the Red scares in the 1920s and 1950s. The fact that Obama bent over backward to cater to Putin's interests for eight years has been pushed down the memory hole. Also ignored is the fact that during her tenure as secretary of state, Clinton approved deals with the Russians that were arguably antithetical to US interests while the Clinton Foundation received millions of dollars in contributions from Russian businessmen and companies closely allied with Putin. Since November 8, the Democrats and their clapping seals in the media and allies in the US intelligence community have banged the war drums against Russia, accusing Trump and his advisers of serving as Russian patsies at best, and Russian agents at worst. In this climate, it would be politically costly for Trump to implement a Russian-based strategy for dismantling the Iranian threat. This brings us to the second option, which is to confront Iran and Russia. Under this option, US action against Iran could easily cause hostilities to break out between the US and Russia. It goes without saying that the political fallout from making a deal with Russia would be nothing compared to the political consequences if Trump were to take the US down a path that led to war with Russia. Obviously, the economic and human costs of such a confrontation would be prohibitive regardless of the political consequences. This leaves us with the final option of doing nothing, or anemically continuing to implement Obama's policies, as the Americans are doing today. Although tempting, the hard truth is that this is the most dangerous policy of all. You need only look to North Korea to understand why this is so. Seemingly on a daily basis, Pyongyang threatens to nuke America. And the US has no good options for dealing with the threat.

Syria was most likely pressured by Iran to fire surface-to-air missiles at Israeli aircraft carrying out strikes in Syrian territory over the weekend, an Arab intelligence official told Breitbart Jerusalem. On Sunday, Israel confirmed attacking Syrian targets, with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu explaining the strikes took out weapons bound for the Iran-sponsored terrorist group Hezbollah. AFP reported on the strike: Syria's military said it had downed an Israeli plane and hit another as they were carrying out pre-dawn strikes near the famed desert city of Palmyra that it recaptured from jihadists this month. The Israeli military denied that any planes had been hit. The Syrian government has made similar unfounded claims in the past. The Arab official said that despite Syria's wish to change the balance of power vis-à-vis Israel - "whereby Israel attacks Syria repeatedly without retaliation" - according to intelligence estimates from the region "it's not a good time for [President Bashar] Assad to rock the boat." "The [Syrian] regime's best interest is to keep waging counterattacks on the rebels in the big cities, along the shoreline and the border regions with Iraq, Turkey, Jordan and Israel," he said. "Therefore, we believe that Assad was pushed into retaliating by Iran." By firing at Israeli aircraft, he contended, Iran wants to send Israel a message that it should think twice about attacking convoys carrying weapons to Hezbollah. "Iran sees the renewed rapprochement between Saudi Arabia and the new American administration, and realize that they are in the crosshairs, and Hezbollah may be too. That's why Iran is keen to step up weapons shipments and bolster its foothold in Lebanon, which is essentially Iran's foothold, and firing at Israeli aircraft is meant to create some sort of deterrence that would benefit the smuggling operation," he said. However, he added that "no Syrian fire would deter Israel. There is another war in Syria, led by Israel, to prevent it from becoming an Iranian outpost, and prevent Hezbollah's armament. Iran not only understands it, they experience it as well. That's why they're adamant about adding Syria into the equation, despite Assad's best interest, which is to focus on defeating his domestic enemies." "We estimate that Assad, once his victory and survival are guaranteed, would not object to restricting Iran's clout, despite all the reports of his gestures to them," he said, referring to claims of an Iranian naval base being built in Latakia with Assad's permission. "Ultimately, the naval base in Latakia may be an advanced payment to Iran for having saved Assad, but consolidating Hezbollah's status in Lebanon is definitely not on his agenda. Therefore undoubtedly he was coerced into changing his policy vis-à-vis Israeli attacks," he said. "No less than Iran, Assad seeks to maintain Egypt's support and capitalize on Jordan's recent warming to him, which positions him at the forefront of the international war on terror," the Arab official concluded. "A conflict with Israel is the last thing he (Assad) needs right now, even though he said that when the war ends he will resume his efforts to liberate the Golan Heights."

The end of it shall come with a flood. And until the end of the war desolations are determined. And he shall make a firm covenant with many for one week. But in the middle of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the offering to cease. And on the wing of abominations shall come one who makes desolate, until the decreed destruction is poured out on the desolator (Dan. 9:26b-27). The book of Daniel has many references to end-times prophecy. One of these, found in Daniel 9:26b-27, refers to a special event at the end of days. Before Jesus comes back, there will be a seven-year treaty formed with many nations. This is often called Daniel's 70th week of prophecy. In the middle of this seven-year period, the temple of God will be defiled; sacrifices will be ceased. Interestingly enough, no temple stands in Israel today. No animal sacrifices are taking place. This means that for the verses in Daniel to come to pass, this temple must be rebuilt. What will surprise you is that the heart of the Jewish people is turning towards the restoration of the Temple. At the end of 2016, UNESCO ruled that the Temple Mount has no connection to Judaism. This has caused outrage on both sides of the political spectrum in Israel. Last week, some in the Israeli Parliament decided to respond. Leaders in the Likud party put forth a proposal to create a new foundation that would educate people about the powerful connection between the Temple Mount and Judaism. The plan calls for the US equivalent of $550,000 to be directed towards this effort. The creation of this special foundation is just one of several events that have been preparing the way for the third temple. In 2015, the Temple Institute declared that they reconstructed the Altar of Sacrifice for the Third Temple. Last month, the Sanhedrin announced that they were reinstituting the temple tax of half a shekel of silver found in Exodus 30:11-16. Arrangements have been made for Jewish people across the world to pay the tax. This will allow funds to be set aside for construction of the third temple. The reconstruction of the third temple is a necessary event for the fulfillment of Daniel's 70th week. This year is particularly special because it is the Jubilee, or 50th year since the Jewish people retook the Temple Mount at the end of the six-day war (June 7, 1967). The efforts to bring awareness to the significance of the Temple Mount are a reminder that we are just that much closer to seeing God's Word come to pass.

Contrary to the predictions of many observers, Geert Wilders did not win the election for Prime Minister of the Netherlands last week. His party, the Dutch Party for Freedom, had the momentum and many of the country's voters were fed up with the current liberal immigration policies. They are fearful of the chaos they see in Sweden, France, England, and Belgium descending on Holland. Then, the President of Turkey gave the Prime Minister of the Netherlands a gift! In the days before Holland's election, Recep Tayyip Erdogan (the Turkish politician who is trying desperately to overthrow the longtime secular government of Turkey and install in its place an Islamic Theocracy like Iran) "forced" the Dutch government into a showdown. Turkey is holding a national referendum on its constitution in mid-April. The net effect will be to concentrate more power in Erdogan's hands so that he can accelerate the rush toward an Islamic Theocracy. Turkish law allows Turks who are living in other nations to vote in national elections held in Turkey. Many countries do this. However, Erdogan was sending members of his government to other European nations to campaign among the Turks living there on behalf of his proposed changes to Turkey's constitution. Well, in the days leading up to the national election in the Netherlands -- coincidentally, an election many analysts predicted the sitting liberal Prime Minister would lose -- Erdogan decided to send two very high-ranking members of the Turkish government to campaign in Holland. The current Prime Minister, Mark Rutte, decided to get tough (though he had apparently not done it before). He refused to let the Turkish officials appear at the campaign rallies. In fact, Rutte wrote an open letter to Turkish immigrants living in the Netherlands (and placed it as campaign ads in newspapers across Holland). Among other things, he told them: "Act normal or go away... go back to Turkey!" Rutte's refusal to let Turkish government officials campaign in the Netherlands "infuriated" the Turkish President. He blasted Holland's Prime Minister. Erdogan ordered his ambassador to return to Ankara. He said that Holland was no longer Turkey's friend. He threatened to flood Europe with migrants. One of his senior officials implied this snub might cause a "holy war!" The net effect was that, suddenly, Holland's formerly liberal, pro-European Union Prime Minister appeared to be Rambo, defending the traditional values of the Netherlands and protecting its native citizens. Exit polls showed that, at the last moment, many Dutch voters decided that current Prime Minister Rutte wasn't so bad after all. And since he was standing up to the Islamic migrant invasion, maybe they shouldn't take a chance on electing Geert Wilders, the far-right, anti-Islamic nationalist with the wild shock of blond hair! So Rutte won. But his party lost. Apparently, Dutch voters felt that even though they didn't want Wilders as Prime Minister right now, he is on the right track and many of his concerns and solutions are relevant. So they gave 20 seats in the Parliament to the Dutch Party for Freedom. That makes it the second largest bloc in Parliament. (Up from one seat just two elections ago!) On the other hand, though they returned Rutte to office, his formerly dominant party was only able to hold on to 33 seats in the Parliament, just barely keeping it as the largest party. That will force it to create a coalition with other parties to continue governing. In other words, Dutch voters declared that even though they were not fully comfortable with Geert Wilders as Prime Minister, they definitely wanted him and his policies to play a major role in Holland's future decisions regarding Islamic immigration. Wilders is just one element in the turmoil now convulsing the European Union. The United Kingdom recently decided to leave the EU ("Brexit"). Five other nations are seriously considering following suit. Sweden is quickly descending into chaos as Muslim migrants gain an almost unmanageable hold on several Swedish towns and cities. Many are predicting that the far-right nationalist candidate for president in France may well win the upcoming election. She, too, is opposed to the continued Islamic migrant invasion of Europe. Some observers believe that the one-two punch of "Brexit" and the shocking election of Donald Trump as U.S. President, is fueling the unrest among European nations. Instead, I think those two developments have given hope to many Europeans who feel they are losing their national identities and sovereignty to faceless, unelected EU bureaucrats who are using the overwhelming Islamic migrant invasion to "fundamentally transform Europe" into a single superstate. And they don't want that to happen. So, if America and the UK can stand up to the globalist-elites, then maybe they can, too! In the West, we are seeing a surge in "nationalism." It challenges the recent tsunami of "globalism" that has threatened to engulf our planet. It is oxymoronic that we are witnessing both -- a concurrent rise in "globalism" and its antithesis, "nationalism." But, the Bible predicts that in the last days of this age, this is precisely what will happen. In fact, it will be the rise of these competing movements that will cause the re-shaping of the world alliances to enable the ascension of the Antichrist. It will also set the stage for the power blocs that confront each other during the Tribulation. Folks, this is Bible prophecy unfolding before us. Also on the show this week, I will be discussing the recent attempt by a United Nations commission to label Israel as an "apartheid" state. I know this is becoming old news, but something different happened this time. The UN Secretary-General rejected the report and forced the commission to withdraw it. Some will say this is a miracle. Some will say it's a byproduct of the new administration in Washington. Whatever the reason, procedural or ideological, it's a good thing. For now. But it further emphasizes the constant attacks upon Israel as a nation and the Jews as a people. Again, just as the Bible prophets predicted for these days. Finally, when I wrote Satan is Alive and Well on Planet Earth back in 1972 (45 years ago), Satanism, witchcraft, and the occult were a dangerous novelty. Today, they are mainstream. The Daily Mail of London reports: "The demand for exorcisms has skyrocketed across the country and priests are struggling to keep up with it." Even Pope Francis has urged Catholic priests to immediately call for exorcists when they encounter this increased Satanic activity. I thought a priest in Indianapolis put his finger on the problem. Fr. Vincent Lampert said, "The problem isn't that the devil has upped his game, but more people are willing to play it." Over the last few years we have witnessed an exponential increase in the exaltation of evil in our society. Our media is happily flooded with programs that focus on the Satanic and the occult -- often glorifying and glamorizing it. "Lucifer" even got his own show! Churches and pastors have failed to effectively highlight and counter the rising influence of this evil even in the lives of their congregants. As a result, between false religions like Islam and humanism and "accepted" Satan-influenced societal practices like unrestricted abortion and ever-degenerating sexual lifestyles, we are almost overwhelmed by sheer evil. What can we do? How can we respond? How can we survive? There is only one way. Call upon the name of Jesus. There is more power in the name "Jesus" than in any other word ever uttered from the lips of God or man (Philippians 2:9-11). When we use His name in prayer, God, the Father, knows all that that name encompasses. My Review of "Rapture Ready...Or Not?" Over the last 35 years, I have literally read hundreds of books on Bible Prophecy and End Time signs. Since president Obama has left office and the manifestation of his secular agenda has "seemed" to have diminished, many evangelical Christians have felt at ease about the rise and threat of national and social secularism. and have been encouraging themselves and focusing on president Trump's presidential post Obama agenda and the restoring of America. Now don't get me wrong, we should do all we can to help promote our founding father's view for America in every way, for we live in time and this is our earthly realm (Psalm 34:14, Heb. 12:14); but NEVER at the expense of putting the Gospel of Jesus Christ or the proclamation of the abundance of current prophetic events, which are EXPONENTIALLY teeming with the manifestation of the very soon coming of the Lord on the back burner. To my surprise since January 20th, I and others have personally found that prophetic interest among evangelicals has dramatically dropped and has slowed way down since president Trump has taken office. This complacency is not good for God's people and is a demonic straw man and deception to distract and lull God's people into a state of false security and idleness, while the enemy moves his demonic agenda forward (Rev. 13). While God's people seemingly are currently distracted by the temporal and earthly of this vain life, they are neglecting Almighty God's present will for their lives and the ETERNAL Kingdom watchmen duties which we are to seek first (Matt. 6:10, 33). Now dear friends, hear me out if you please. We are not to be running round as "Chicken Littles" causing inaccurate unbiblical fears and falsely spiritualizing current events creating confusion, for that is what Almighty God has called us NOT to do (1 Cor. 14:33, 40). On the other hand, we are to be with ALL biblical discernment and wisdom to be firstly watching, waiting, serving, glorifying and proclaiming God's ETERNAL glory and goodness. No matter how things may seem to be moving in Washington in light of our present hour this does not replace the REALITY that Almighty God's Day of global wrath is indeed very nigh as global events clearly tell us (Rev. 6-19) and His return and Kingdom are even at the door! As Almighty God's watchmen we have found - with in the last two months - that sound biblical prophetic interest has now been replaced by temporal earthly agendas such as the false anticipation of the restoration of America, pro-Americanism, over turning Obama-care, undoing Obama's secular policies, closing our borders, removing illegals, fighting global Islamic terrorism, creating American jobs, religiously following conservative talk radio, holding Republicans and Democrat's feet to the fire, watching Fox News 24/7, fighting for America's personal survival, supporting the pro- Trump agenda, fighting for pro-life social causes, protecting American sovereignty and interest etc...etc. Now hear me my dear friends, I am totally for all of these things and have been greatly encourage by Almighty God's grace and mercy to this nation. Also, I have even been a little encouraged by president Trump, his agenda, the fight against American communism, progressivism, secularism and globalism. However, I am NOT trusting at all in any of man's sincere attempts to restore America in light of our EXPONENTIAL LAWLESS day. I am personally seeking ONLY Almighty God's will in such an hour for His ETERNAL glory firstly and greatly rejoicing in Almighty God's grace and mercy for this nation; which (our nation) even now is at the precipice of the global ash heap and heading straight into the Day of the Lord (Rev. 6-19). It would seem to me and some others that Americanism is now taking first place among evangelicals; who just a few months ago were very eager to hear and who were daily keeping an eye on our world's prophetic events leading to the Lord's trumpet blast and the Day of the Lord (1 Thess. 4:13-18, Rev. 6-19). My dear friends hear this one watchmen of the Lord if you please. We were NEVER so close to losing this nation and its global retraining power as we were in November and since then - by Almighty God's grace - He has spare our nation for a brief moment for His people to seek Him with ALL our hearts, to get out His ETERNAL Word of redemption and to blow the shofar of warning that the Day of the Lord is at hand! How can we ever think and deceive ourselves that we can save this nation when it is moments from its end! We here at the IFB have been zealously praying for president Trump for Almighty God's saving grace, wisdom and guidance in such days; but he or any of our founding fathers - if they were here today - can NEVER nor could EVER save this sinking Titanic of a nation, for we are EXPONENTIALLY past the point of no return; for globally the Day of the Lord is at hand! I pray to Almighty God that you have the spiritual eyes to see that, for if you do not you will be totally opened and in a place to be deceived by the god of this world (2 Cor. 4:2-4, Eph. 2:1-2). How can any society survive when moral absolutes are hated, scoffed at and demonized by millions of Americans and both political parties? The answer is, "It will not! nor will it EVER!" Thus, we now see the final sad state and coming downfall of our once great and highly respected nation as the Day of the Lord is rapidly approaching (Psalm 11:3, Prov. 14:3). Tragically, it will be this complete abandonment of moral absolutes that will be America's final demise and my dear friend we are already there! This nation - due to her abandonment of moral absolutes and the soon coming Rapture of the body of Christ - will finally implode on herself, thus opening the door to the entrance of the Four Horsemen and the dreaded Day of the Lord (Rev. 6-19). My dear friends, it is absolutely crucial for all of Almighty God's people to keep Almighty God first and His ETERNAL purpose first in such days. My friend, if you are one who knows NOT the Savior please be sure that you personally DO (John 1:12, 3:16-17, 1 John 5:10-13). This world is headed into the final showdown between demonic and human lawlessness verse the ETERNAL RIGHTEOUSNESS of Almighty God; between Lucifer the fallen angelic creature verses the ETERNAL GOD and CREATOR of ALL (Rev. 16:13-16)! Be sure that you are on your Creator's side, who loved you and died for your transgressions and to be your propitiation and Savior (John 1:12, 3:16-17, Rom. 10:4, 1 John 4:10). My dear friends, the Kingdom of Heaven is TRULY at hand!

James Rosen of Fox News reports that Capitol Hill sources claim " The intelligence is said to leave no doubt the [Sic] former administration, in its closing days, was using the cover of legitimate surveillance on foreign targets to spy on President-elect Trump, according to sources. The key to that conclusion is the unmasking of selected U.S. persons whose names appeared in the intelligence, the sources said, adding that the paper trail leaves no other plausible purpose for the unmasking other than to damage the incoming Trump administration." This information comes on the heels of a news conference by House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes, (R-CA), documenting the ex "president" spied on the President-Elect. Nunes dropped a bombshell saying, "I recently confirmed on numerous occasions the intelligence community incidentally collected information about US citizens involved in the Trump transition. Details about US persons associated with the incoming administration, details with little or no apparent foreign intelligence value, were widely disseminated in intelligence community reporting...I have confirmed that additional names of Trump transition team members were unmasked...None of the surveillance was related to Russia, or the investigation of Russian activities, or of the Trump team." In other words, the ex "president" and his minions spied on President-elect Donald Trump and shared the information across many intelligence agencies. Now Fox News sources claim the ex-"president" intended to damage the incoming presidency. This entire ruse that Russia somehow colluded with the Trump campaign to alter the election is ridiculous. Americans voted and the Russians did not hack voting machines to change election results. This ruse is being used to accrue very publicly reported investigation after investigation insinuating that Trump and Russia have some plan to undermine America. The real intent is for Trump opposition to incrementally reduce his credibility with the public and prevent him from governing as elected. If you look at who had pre-election deals with Russia, Hillary Clinton and the ex-"president" would be poster children. Hundreds of millions of dollars exchanged hands between Russia and the Clinton Foundation when Clinton was Secretary of State in the ex-"president's" administration, and these deals were supported by the ex-"president." A short list while Clinton was Secretary of State: Nuclear grade uranium to Russia scoring $145 million to the Clinton Foundation, Bill Clinton's $500,000 speech in Moscow, Clinton campaign Chairman John Podesta's $35 million energy deal with Russia, Clinton Foundation receipt of $2.35 million in donations from Ian Telfer, head of Russia's uranium company, and the list goes on and on. The more the ex-"president" and his minions deny spying on the Trump transition team, the more we will find they spied. The more they push Russian ties with Trump, the more deals they did with Russia themselves. This is all an effort to foment rebellion and inability to govern. As said in 2 Timothy 3:13, "But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived." This is some of the worst deception of this generation.

He is despised and rejected by men, a Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him; He was despised, and we did not esteem Him. -Isaiah 53:3 Jesus Christ was, according to the Bible, a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. He knows and understands the pain and hurt deep inside your soul when you have lost someone you love. John 11:35 tells us, "Jesus wept." Tears rolled down His cheeks, tears of sympathy for Mary and Martha for all the sorrow that is caused by sin and death. And in that sense, Jesus has wept with us as well. Death never was God's plan in the beginning. But now, because of the entrance of sin into the human race, all of us will die one day. Some will live longer than others, but we all will die. And we think the greatest tragedy is when someone dies young. While this is an extreme tragedy, I don't think it is the ultimate tragedy. I think the ultimate tragedy is when a life has been lived to its entire length and has been entirely wasted and squandered on sin. I think of the words of Jim Elliot, who was a modern-day martyr of the faith, put to death as he tried to bring the gospel to a tribe in Ecuador known at the time as the Aucas. Jim was lanced through with a spear, and wrapped around that spear was one of the gospel tracts he and missionary pilot Nate Saint had dropped over their village from the air. In his journal Jim Elliot had written, "I seek not a long life but a full one like Yours, Lord Jesus." We think that length of life is the ultimate goal. And yes, it's good to live long. But what is more important is to live right, to do what is right before God. What is more important is to live a life that is pleasing to Him.
