Apostasy: Part 2 - By Geri Ungurean -
https://www.raptureready.com/2019/04/25/apostasy-part-2-geri-ungurean/ I have decided to devote this entire piece to the false "Social Justice Gospel." When I think of heretical teachings in our churches, the Social Justice Gospel is by far the most dangerous to true Christianity. The majority of people who are attracted to this heresy are young and impressionable, and most of all, NOT grounded in the Word of God. I just wrote an article recently about Taylor University, and how the student body had a complete meltdown when told that Vice President Mike Pence would be coming to speak at the graduation ceremony. If you have not read this piece, I will place it here: 'The Gay Student Who Came Out at Taylor University: Now You'll Read the REST of the Story' <click here to read The Attributes of God God is Love. God is Holy. God is Righteous. God is Just. The student body at Taylor University only sees God as Love. The gay student who "came out" in a letter given to each student was used by Satan. But the students were blinded to the fact that Satan was involved in this at all. The gay student appealed to their emotions. I am going to post this letter in this article because I think that it is so important for us to see the tactics of the evil one. Gay student's Letter: "Dear members of the Taylor Community Forgive me. Forgive me for not being completely honest with you. Forgive me for hiding behind my fear and trepidation. Forgive me for the mask I have worn. More often than not I forget 1 Timothy 1:7, "For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control." This is my story. I have struggled with same sex attraction since middle school, and I thought for a long time that I would be able to change my attractions. I believed that the struggle was just a sin that I was susceptible to and that I could get over it with enough prayer and determination. After coming to college, I tried multiple times to date because I believed that attraction to women would come with a relationship. I tried several times, but eventually realized that the attraction was not going to come to me. That was the point when I finally "came out" to myself. I realized that I am gay. I was not able to change my attractions. So, the question I faced at this junction was, "how does my sexuality play into my faith?" The process has been long and hard, and I have not reached all the conclusions that I want to, nor do I have the answers. I will be the first to tell you that I do not have all the answers! I do, however, have a renewed understanding of God, of struggles, of pain, and of people. There have been points when I have felt like giving up on God and have questioned whether he even exists or not. But through my journey, I have determined to keep living for God and seeking to find out his will for my life. I do not necessarily seek to be happy even though that would be nice. Rather, my focus is searching for the truth and finding joy in truth. Why am I coming out publicly? I do not come out to you, my community, as a way to gain attention - at least not for myself. I do this to help you become aware that same-sex attracted people exist at Taylor, and we all have names and faces. Up to this point you may have only heard anonymous quotes and stories in the Echo.... but do gay people really exist at Taylor? Yes, and I know this because I am one! I am writing this letter to you all for the sake of people like me. We are your roommates, we are your classmates, we eat in the DC with you, we play football with you, we sing with you in chapel, we pray with you in church, we are your friends, and we are your siblings, but most importantly we are children of God created in his image. Many of these people are scared, as I am, of what will happen if and when they come out. I am removing my mask, so that you may know the truth about me. You have probably also heard the quote by CS Lewis: "To love all is to be vulnerable. Love anything and your heart will be wrung and possibly broken. If you want to make sure of keeping it intact, you must give it to no one. Wrap it carefully round with hobbies and little luxuries; avoid all entanglements. Lock it up safe in the casket or coffin of your selfishness. But in the casket, safe, dark, motionless, airless, it will change. It will not be broken; it will become unbreakable, impenetrable, irredeemable. To love is to be vulnerable." I love Taylor and I love the people at Taylor. I love you all too much to lock up my heart; in my comfort I am afraid I will lose my chance and ability to be vulnerable and open with the Taylor community. Honestly, I am afraid right now of all the potential fallout, consequences, and backlash. This fear is what has kept me from coming out sooner. Lastly, but most importantly, my purpose in opening my heart to you is to glorify God. My story, and by default my sexuality, means nothing without God. I hope to glorify God by helping people understand the stories that God has written because each of our stories is precious to God and should be used to shine light on him. How should you react to all of this new information? Reflect on this new information. Rethink how you treat people and how you view the issue of sexuality. Reread Scripture and try to look at it with new insights. Listen to people's stories. Are your words and actions showing that you are safe and open to people sharing their stories with you? Educate yourself on the language surrounding same-sex attraction and the arguments on both sides. Most importantly, respect people and their personal experiences. None of us have everything figured out. I am just Jeffrey. But together, we are a community, willing to take a position of humility to better understand and hopefully work this out together. There is so much more I want to say, but I will wait for a later time and venue. Perhaps we can grab coffee sometime. "The ultimate message of man is not where he stands in the moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy." MLK, Jr. Walking toward Christ together, Jeffrey Neuhouser" Throughout the letter, I could discern the fingerprints of the evil one and could hear him say, "Did God say?" He was appealing to the emotions of these young students. He was basically saying that he loved God too, but that in this case - God got it wrong. Jeffrey went on to "tell" the student body how to respond to his letter. There was not one word about how God would respond, and the only Scripture cited in the letter was this - which I considered to be very ironic: 1 Timothy 1:7, "For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control." Self-control? The gay student used this part of God's Word completely out of context. If the student had "Self-Control," perhaps he would not have acted on his impulses. But he is actually saying that others need "Self-Control" in not condemning his lifestyle. Here is a Scripture which I think is more to the point: "Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ" (Colossians 2:8). Social Justice Gospel (SJG) followers do NOT talk about God's Holiness, Righteousness or that He is Just. They see God as pure love without any of His other attributes. Obviously, the SJG followers do not understand that we are separated from a Holy, Righteous and Just God because of SIN. Rewriting God's Word Brethren, this is exactly what the SJG false gospel is about. It's all about feelings and emotions. It's about accepting sinful behaviors even when God has called such behaviors an abomination to Him! It is saying that people know better than the Creator of the Universe! What if you were sitting in church, and a person came in and said, "Hello, I am a Christian adulterer." Or how about this: "Hello, I am a Christian pedophile." Or maybe this: "Hello, I am the supervisor at the abortion clinic in town, and I just LOVE God!" You might say this is ridiculous. But brethren, how are any of these different from a person who insists on practicing homosexuality and yet wants to be an accepted part of a church? There are many people who struggle with same sex attraction, but they know that it is evil and rely on God to help them to not act on their urges. Danger Ahead One of the main reasons that I said that SJG is most dangerous to true Christianity is this: I believe that the unsaved world is embracing this apostasy, and together they will persecute TRUE Christians. The Social Justice gospel will be considered TRUE Christianity while Bible believing Christians (you and me) will be called the apostate Christians - the phony Christians - the ones who need to be reeducated. Just what the devil wants. Satan knows that his time is short. He is roaming and devouring young minds - minds which do not read the Word of God to keep themselves safe. Minds who believe that they are truly in the faith, when they do NOT know Jesus. It is truly sad to think about these people and what Jesus will say to them: "And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!'" (Matthew 7:23). I do pray that this article finds its way into the hands of those who need to understand about the Social Justice (false) gospel. This is NOT the Gospel of Jesus Christ! It is twisted and changed by the devil himself. Without the Word of God, people WILL be deceived. How Can I Be Saved? Shalom b'Yeshua MARANATHA! [email protected] Articles at grandmageri422.me Are Iran and the United States heading for war? - Yochanan Visser - http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/262315 Reports of US Naval buildup near Middle East as Iran threatens shipping lanes in response to US sanctions. The United States and Iran came one step closer to war this week after the Trump Administration announced it would not renew waivers on sanctions against importers of Iranian oil. The new measure aims to stop Iran's oil exports altogether and will result in a critical loss of revenues since these exports make up 40 percent of the state budget in the Islamic Republic. Trump's decision was welcomed by Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu who thanked Trump and said that the decision was of "great importance in increasing the pressure on the Iranian terrorist regime." "We're going to zero. We're going to zero across the board," Secretary of State Mike Pompeo told reporters in Washington. "There are no (oil) waivers that extend beyond that period, full stop," Pompeo added. Iran reacted furiously to the new American measure and threatened to close the Strait of Hormuz a narrow waterway in the Persian Gulf where 18 million barrels of oil pass through each day. This accounts for 30 percent of the world's oil supply and a closure of the waterway could result in a worldwide economic crisis since the price of Brent crude oil is already at a six-months high. In reaction to the Iranian threats US Special Representative for Iran Brian Hook assured the public that the US military will keep the waterway open at all costs. "The US military will fly, sail and operate wherever international law allows, that's partly to ensure protection of the global commons so that it can be safe for commercial and non-commercial traffic," Hook said during a press conference. Iran's Foreign Minister Javad Zarif later said that the Iranian military top -which is made-up of anti-Israel and anti-US hawks- will decide on the closure of the Strait of Hormuz when the annulment of the waivers comes into effect at the beginning of May. Immediately after the announcement of the new measure against Iran's continuing aggression in the region, reports came in that the US military had started to build-up its forces in the Middle East. The Washington Examiner reported that the Trump Administration sent two aircraft carriers to the Persian Gulf and the Mediterranean Sea this week. The USS Abraham Lincoln left the port of Palma in Majorca and headed for the Persian Gulf while the USS John C. Stennis sailed through the Suez Canal to the Mediterranean Sea where it will cruise in international waters opposite the coast of Syria. The Stennis has 50 F-18 warplanes aboard and the Lincoln will join the USS Kearsarge Amphibious Ready Group a collection of warships which was already stationed in the Persian Gulf. The United States, furthermore, deployed an unspecified number of F-35 stealth fighter planes to the United Arab Emirates and has reportedly a number of submarines in the region. The deployment of the naval forces and the F-35's is the clearest signal to date that the Trump Administration will not hesitate to use force to keep the Strait of Hormuz open and comes after increased cooperation between the Israeli military and the US army over the past few months. As reported on April 15th, the US military recently brought its Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) system to Israel where it was integrated in Israel's multi-layered missile defense systems such as the Arrow a mid-altitude missile interceptor during an unique drill with the IAF. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, furthermore, recently didn't rule out the possibility that the Administration would make use of the 2001 Congress Authorization for Use of Military Force Against Terrorists (AUMF) to start a war against Iran. The law came into effect after Al-Qaeda carried out the largest terrorist attack in world history and destroyed the Twin Towers in New York city. Pompeo, during a testimony on Capitol Hill, said "there is a connection between the Islamic Republic of Iran and al-Qaeda. Period, full stop." Asked by Senator Rand Paul if the Administration contemplated use of the AUMF to start a war with Iran Pompeo ducked the question and responded he would "leave that to the lawyers." Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei , meanwhile, this week decided to appoint Hossein Salami the hawkish deputy commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) as the new head of the organization. Pundits pointed out that "no Iranian commander has threatened the United States, Israel and Europe more than Salami." Salami is a "absolutely obedient commander and a vocal advocate of aggressive military diplomacy and Iran's missile program," Iran expert Reza Haqiqatnezhad told Radio Farda. Salami's appointment makes a military confrontation with the US more likely, experts think. The appointment of Salami came after the Washington Free Beacon reported that Ali Nasiri, a former IRGC brigadier general who once headed Iran's counterintelligence operations had defected to the US. Nasisi fled Iran with "a cache of secret documents said to contain information on Tehran's military plans" according to the news site. The former IRGC commander requested political asylum at an US embassy in one of the Gulf States and his defection could constitute a major coup for US intelligence. News from Hal Lindsey Media Ministries - Hal Lindsey - www.hallindsey.com On September 28, 2016, FEMA, the FCC, and the National Weather Service conducted a nationwide test of the Emergency Alert System (EAS). EAS allows the federal government to take complete control of the content of television and radio stations, as well as cable systems. Broadcasters are required to place the EAS switch between their studios and the station's transmitter. When the government activates the switch, the broadcaster's own sound and picture are replaced by the government's. Only once before had this system been tested nationally. That was in November of 2011. There were several glitches and the system failed to perform adequately. But the 2016 test was a complete success. Ostensibly, EAS will be used to alert the public in the event of an impending natural disaster, probably a catastrophic weather emergency. Maybe even a national defense threat. Who could object to that? I don't. But we've all seen movies where the super-villain somehow interrupts every broadcast in the nation (or the world) to announce his threats or demands. In real life, the EAS system used far too many and varied protocols for that scenario to be even a remote possibility. But EAS is now part of the wider Integrated Public Alert and Warning System (IPAWS). It is based largely on the internet. This wider system not only has the power to commandeer broadcast and cable content, it can also access smartphones. Interestingly, your smartphone gives you control over the kinds of alerts or notifications you receive, such as Amber or weather alerts. But you do not have the ability to disable an alert from the White House. The President's order overrides everything else. In view of what Bible prophecy says about the Antichrist's ability to communicate with the entire world, I noted at the time that this was an interesting development. Someone remarked to me that the EAS was old news. It's been around for years. I replied that every system or tool the Antichrist needs to accomplish his worldwide takeover has been in development for years, decades, even centuries. What makes it interesting is that they are all coming into completeness and full utility now. Just in time for the Antichrist's arrival. Something else makes the rapid emergence of the tools and mechanisms he will need even more amazing. That is the fact that they are all being placed into the hands of global entities and authorities beyond the control of individual nations and states. During the last gasps of Barack Obama's presidency, oversight of the internet was completely ceded to an international agency. The ultimate authority to grant internet domain addresses now rests with a corporation outside the reach of the United States government. That pattern is repeating itself over and over. In his final address to the United Nations General Assembly, President Obama told the United Nations that the United States has too much power and needs to relinquish some of its sovereignty. I know that's hard to imagine, but it's part of a worldwide trend. One of Obama's excuses for ceding portions of our sovereignty to the global interests was to implement the United Nations' 2030 Agenda. That's the program the UN claims will end poverty and pollution by 2030. Its provisions first became active in 2018. Agenda 2030 is an update of the notorious Agenda 21. It passed the UN unanimously in 2015. And it calls for massive changes in all our lives. It is literally a scheme to subjugate mankind under the heel of corporate and international elites. When the Antichrist assumes power, he will need global tools and organizations, as well as incredible technology, to accomplish his purpose. And it looks now like he will have everything he needs. Right on time. Just as the ancient prophets predicted. Speaking of which, this week I want to tell you the difference between the Resurrection and the Rapture. Let me give you a hint. If you are reading this, you don't need Resurrection, you need Rapture! But you can prepare yourself for both, in exactly the same way! Finally, speaking of God's grace and "faith in Christ's saving work and not because of any merit on our part....", this week I want to share with you the story of my personal conversion. Many of you have heard it before -- how I came to learn about Christ's love while reading my childhood Gideon's New Testament on a tugboat on the Mississippi River. But in case you haven't, or in case you have a loved one that you think may never find Jesus, I think my personal experience may give you encouragement for your life or hope for someone else's. The Feast of First Fruits - Jack Kelley - https://gracethrufaith.com/topical-studies/holidays-and-holy-days/the-feast-of-first-fruits/ But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. - 1 Cor 15:20 The LORD said to Moses, "Speak to the Israelites and say to them: 'When you enter the land I am going to give you and you reap its harvest, bring to the priest a sheaf of the first grain you harvest. He is to wave the sheaf before the LORD so it will be accepted on your behalf; the priest is to wave it on the day after the Sabbath. On the day you wave the sheaf, you must sacrifice as a burnt offering to the LORD a lamb a year old without defect, together with its grain offering of two-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil-an offering made to the LORD by fire, a pleasing aroma and its drink offering of a quarter of a hin of wine. You must not eat any bread, or roasted or new grain, until the very day you bring this offering to your God. This is to be a lasting ordinance for the generations to come, wherever you live. (Lev. 23:9-14) Three Spring Feasts Often overlooked because Passover and the Feast of Unleavened Bread overshadow and surround it, I think the Feast of First Fruits is the most important Feast of them all-at least from a Christian point of view. It's easy to miss its importance, since the Gospel accounts don't even mention First Fruits and also seem to use Passover and Unleavened Bread interchangeably. Because of this, it can be hard to tell there were actually three feasts being celebrated at once. Although it's not obvious from the passage above, the Lord was referring to the Sabbath that comes after the Passover. While the Passover can fall on any day of the week which also happens to be the 14th day of the first month, the Feast of First Fruits is always the following Sunday, the day after the Sabbath after Passover. Unleavened Bread begins on Passover and lasts seven days, so First Fruits comes before Unleavened Bread ends. The year the Lord was crucified, Passover fell on a Thursday. Three days and three nights later it was Sunday morning, the Feast of First Fruits. And for several hundred years afterward, the Sunday morning after Passover was known to Christians as Resurrection Morning. What Day Is It? But at the Council of Nicea in 325 AD, Eastern and Western bishops of the Church disagreed over the official date for the Church's most important Holy Day. Eastern bishops favored staying with the calculation involving Passover as Leviticus describes, since many of them were of Jewish origin, and since the Gospels had placed Resurrection Morning just after Passover. Western bishops, being mostly Gentile, favored a date closer to the beginning of spring because there were already a number of pagan festivals held during that time and a religious holiday would fit right in. Perhaps this is when the Western church began referring to Resurrection Morning as Easter Sunday, after the Babylonian fertility goddess Ishtar. The Feast of Ishtar was always celebrated at the beginning of spring and involved eggs and rabbits and other signs of fertility. Even today, you can see how elements of the two have been merged together. Eventually, (due in part to their view that since the Jews had rejected Christ Jewish traditions shouldn't be used in selecting the date for Easter), the Western Church settled on the first Sunday after the first full moon after the spring equinox. Soon Easter Sunday became disconnected from Passover by as much as several weeks. The adoption of the Gregorian calendar (the one we use in the west today) in 1752 did nothing to correct this disconnect, and since the Eastern or Orthodox Church stuck with the earlier Julian calendar, we now have two dates for Easter in most years. (In 2004, the Feast of First Fruits, and Orthodox and Western Easter all came on the same day, a rare occasion.) The Common Practice But back to the Feast of First Fruits. Grains were planted in the fall in Israel. They germinated in the ground through the winter, shot up as soon as the weather got warm, and ripened in the spring, barley first and then wheat. The stalks were cut and stacked in sheaves for the harvesters to collect for thrashing. But harvesting or eating any of the grain was not permitted until a sample sheaf was brought to the Temple at sunrise on the first day after the Sabbath following Passover. This day was called the Feast of First Fruits. A similar ceremony for the wheat harvest took place on Pentecost, also a Sunday, seven weeks later. As you know, the Lord required the first fruits of all their harvest be given to Him, whether plant or animal. (In the case of animals, only the very first offspring of each animal was required, not the first of each season. For humanity, a small ransom was paid at the Temple to redeem the firstborn son. (The Lord expressly forbade any form of child sacrifice.) The priest took the sheaf of grain and waved it before the altar of the Lord as a sample of the harvest. This was called the wave offering. To be sure it was acceptable to the Lord, a year old lamb was also offered, along with about 4 quarts of flour and oil mixture and a quart of wine. The mixing fragrances of the roasting lamb, the baking bread dough, and the steam from the wine made a pleasant aroma for the Lord, and the offering was accepted. The Lord having received His required first portion, the harvest could proceed, and the grain could be ground into flour for their daily bread. The Prophetic Fulfillment At sunrise on the morning of the Feast of First Fruits in 32 AD, as the priests were waving the sheaf of grain before the altar, the women arrived at the Lord's tomb to prepare His body for permanent burial. Remember, there wasn't enough time before sunset on the day He was crucified and the following two days were both Sabbaths, so no work was permitted. (Interestingly, work was allowed on the Feast of First Fruits, although not on Pentecost.) But the tomb was empty. He had risen, the First Fruits of them that slept. (1 Cor. 15:20) Later that day many Holy people from Israel's past were seen in the city of Jerusalem, also having risen from their tombs. (Matt. 27:53) This was the Lord's wave offering, a sample of His harvest of souls. I think the aroma of the Temple offering was especially pleasing to the Lord that morning. The days of substitutes were over; the real thing had come. (Hebr. 10:1) The Ultimate Triple Play For Christ, our Passover Lamb had been sacrificed (1 Cor. 5:7), and on the very day, fulfilling the Passover Prophecy. For seven days beginning on Passover, the Israelites ate bread without yeast in celebration of the Feast of Unleavened Bread, and in fact went to great lengths to rid their homes of any trace of leaven. This Feast symbolized a promise that the sin of man, represented by the leaven, would be completely taken away. The Lord's death fulfilled this one as well, for He's the Lamb of God Who takes away the sin of the world. (John 1:29) And take it away He did, as far as the East is from the West. (Psalm 103:12) And right on schedule, the Lord rose from the grave, fulfilling the Feast of First Fruits. He is the First Fruits of them that slept, and His resurrection confirmed His victory over sin and death. And ours too, for if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. (Rom. 10:9) Selah Daily Jot: Stress, anger and worry - Bill Wilson - www.dailyjot.com Gallup recently conducted its annual poll of the emotional state of people worldwide and found that Americans were more likely to be stressed and worried than much of the world. The poll indicated that the 55% of Americans who experienced stress was one of the highest rates out of the 143 countries studied and that it beat the global average by a full 20 percentage points. Gallup also points out that 45% of Americans worried a lot and 22% said they "felt anger a lot." Among the most angry countries in the world, Gallup reports, are also Islamic-Iraq, Iran, the Palestinian Territories, Morocco, Turkey, Niger, Chad, Libya, and Pakistan. There's a lot of stress, worry and anger in the world-all things we must resist. We get all wrapped up in politics and entertainment and day to day life. The mixture of the three may cause a lot of worry and anxiety. But what does Christ say about this? In Matthew 6:31-34, he says, "Therefore take no thought, saying What shall we eat? Or, what shall we drink? Or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? For after all these things do the Gentiles seek: for your heavenly Father knows that you have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof." Stress, anger and worry are not of the Lord. And, yes, I know full well that they hit us every day full force. This is a matter of focusing on the good and controlling what you can control. The rest will take care of itself. When challenges present themselves, take a breath. Focus on the task at hand. Don't take it personal or get over emotional about it. Then start working on those things that you can impact. It's a matter of renewing your mind and understanding who you are and why you are on this earth. As the Apostle Paul writes in Romans 12:2, "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what [is] that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God." The rest of the world can be stressed, angry and worried. I find it so interesting that Islamic areas of the world are more angry than other cultures. If they were following the one true God, perhaps not only the words of the Holy Scriptures would give them peace, but also the Holy Spirit would guide them personally to not be so angry. We in America have so much for which to be thankful. Our worst living conditions are better than most of the world. But I have seen brothers and sisters in Africa who face tremendous challenges each day, but they are not angry-they have the joy of the Lord and they practice the words of Christ by allowing the morrow to take thought for the things of itself. Have a blessed, and stress/anger/worry-free day today. Practice it. Renew your mind. Find the joy of the Lord and embrace it! Daily Devotion: Why Christians Need Each Other - by Greg Laurie - www.harvest.org In his grace, God has given us different gifts for doing certain things well. - Romans 12:6 With all the technology we have today, we are more connected than we've ever been in human history. At the same time, we are more disconnected than we've ever been. I read recently that Millennials would rather text other people than speak with them personally. So sometimes we don't talk to each other at all. Someone has said, "Coming together is a beginning, staying together is progress, thinking together is unity, working together is success." God has given every Christian gifts from the Holy Spirit. These are not necessarily talents, which are the natural abilities we are born with. These are gifts that are supernaturally given to us from God-spiritual gifts. We find these listed in Romans 12: "If God has given you the ability to prophesy, speak out with as much faith as God has given you. If your gift is serving others, serve them well. If you are a teacher, teach well. If your gift is to encourage others, be encouraging. If it is giving, give generously. If God has given you leadership ability, take the responsibility seriously. And if you have a gift for showing kindness to others, do it gladly" (verses 6-8 nlt). We believers need to put down our phones and talk together, pray together, and work together because we are all part of the body of Christ. We are all part of the church. We are all part of the family of God. We have to find our places in the body of Christ and do the jobs that God has called us to do. Pastor James Merritt has pointed out there are two kinds of people in the church and in the world: workers and shirkers. You are either one or the other. And you decide which one you will be.
