Dangers of the Hebrew Roots Movement (Part 2)

Here is an article she wrote on the Hebrew Roots movement which was originally to be submitted after finishing her 4-part series: --------- ERROR #4: Hebrew Roots cult leaves Gentiles out of salvation. The Hebrew Roots movement promotes a dual lie wherein they claim to be Jews (but are not) and then attempts to claim that GENTILES are LEFT OUT OF SALVATION. The Hebrew Roots movement erroneously teaches that no Gentiles can be saved! What does God's word say about this? Acts 28:28 "Be it known therefore unto you, that the salvation of God is sent unto the Gentiles, and that they will hear it." Romans 10:12-13 "For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." The Hebrew Roots movement would say that only those of Israel can be saved (and they somehow falsely believe they have replaced Israel). Their version of replacement theology is even more demonic than most other erroneous replacement theology lies. They claim to BE Jews, but are not! The Bible disproves this falsehood all throughout the New Testament. First, we see that God's word addressed these liars who claim to be Jews but are not: "Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee" (Rev.3:9). The Hebrew Roots cult is part of the "synagogue of Satan," according to God's word. Flee from this satanic cult! God's word also addresses (numerous times) that many Gentiles would come to Christ during the age of grace/church age: Galatians 3:14 "That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith." Now we can see yet another reason they attempt to THROW OUT Paul's epistles, among other New Testament scripture. They prefer to believe that THEY have replaced Israel, that only Jews can be saved (and they erroneously want you to believe that THEY are the Jews, and yet deny Jewish people are actually Jews... PREPOSTEROUS). It's the exact opposite of scriptural truth! And the errors don't stop there. There are so many more! ERROR #5: USING BOOKS OUTSIDE OF THE BIBLE The Hebrew Roots movement erroneously uses other writings of mankind and tries to place those writings on par with, or even above the Bible! So, not only do they reject most of the actual New Testament scripture, but then they add their own nonsense to replace it. Not only have they tried to erroneously claim to be Jews (but aren't), but they also replace scripture with lies. This double replacement theology is even more dangerous than most already out there today. The Bible is complete and inerrant. God has preserved His word from generation to generation. Each of the sixty-six books of the Bible makes the sum of God's word which He has given us. We are NOT to go looking for "extra-biblical" writings of mankind. God tells us how important His word is to Him. In Psalm 138:2: "...thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name." He says He places His word ABOVE His very name! That should show us how important God's word is to Him! Next, only the writings in the Bible contain God's word... not mankind's opinion, but only what God has given man as they were moved of the Holy Ghost to write. 2 Pet. 1:21 tells us God's word "came not by the will of man, but by holy men of God who spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost." The Bible is complete, and not the word of mankind. We cannot tamper with, add to, or delete (take away from) God's holy word. There is no fear of God with this Hebrew Roots cult as they have done all three. The Holy Spirit no longer moves on prophets today because there are no modern-day prophets (even though many erroneously claim to be). God will again (during the tribulation) pour out His Spirit upon remnant Israel, and they will prophesy then (as God directs). But during this current time period we reside in (the end of the age of grace/ church age), there are no longer modern-day prophets. And the Hebrew Roots cult is NOT Israel anyways. They claim to be prophets also, but do lie. The last book of the Bible (Revelation, written by John on the isle of Patmos as the Holy Spirit moved upon John and dictated each word to write) was the last revealing of scripture given by God. Scripture is complete now. Scripture is NOT to be taken away from NOR added to! God gives mankind a VERY SEVERE WARNING not to tamper with His word (Rev. 22:18-19). Yet, the Hebrew Roots movement does BOTH. They ADD to scripture by attempting to promote other Jewish books (written by mankind, NOT under God's guidance), and they TAKE AWAY from scripture by omitting HUGE AMOUNTS of scripture as well. They claim that Paul's writings are a mistake! (HERESY). As we can easily see, they do NOT revere God, nor do they revere God's word. They've not heeded God's severe warnings, and thus have no fear of God Himself! Even worse... they've "made up" their own false "Bible." Much like the cults of Mormonism and the Jehovah's Witness cults, the Hebrew Roots movement attempts to promote unbiblical writings of mankind. The best way to NOT be deceived by these types of cults is to KNOW the Bible; KNOW the Lord who is revealed IN the Bible. And if you know God and know God's word well, you will be able to QUICKLY SEE how dangerous and WRONG the Hebrew Roots movement is, as with all other cults and false doctrine. ERROR #6: Hebrew Roots movement has made themselves a FALSE "god" and has replaced Jesus as merely the successor of Moses! The Hebrew Roots movement has made themselves a different "god" and a different "jesus" than is revealed in the Bible. This is blasphemy! Mankind cannot attempt to make God someone or something they feel more "comfortable" with. God's character is revealed to us in His word. ALL of His word (not just the parts which please the flesh). Jesus stated "I and my Father are one" (John 10:30). He also stated He is the "I AM." The Old Testament reveals the importance of this statement. Moses asked God to tell him whom he should tell the children of Israel that He is (Exodus 3:13). God replied: "And God said unto Moses, I Am That I Am: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I Am hath sent me unto you" (Exodus 3:14). The Jewish people of that time (of those who were blinded) came to Jesus inquiring who He was. They could not see that He was of God, because they were carnally minded and of the devil (John 8:44). Those (of the blinded Jews) prided themselves on being of the lineage of Abraham... they were counting on that heritage and lineage to save them. But their true Messiah, Christ Jesus, was standing in front of them and they didn't even recognize Him! Had they been focused on God's word rather than the customs and traditions of men, they would have known He was foretold to come and would have recognized Jesus immediately for who He really is. Jesus answered them saying: "Before Abraham was, I am" (John 8:58). This infuriated them because they knew Jesus was claiming to also be God. (And He is! See Colossians 2:9 also.) We discussed above in other parts of the article how that the Hebrew Roots movement has attempted to change Jesus' name to either "Yehoshua" or "Yeshua" (and why this was wrong as they don't mean Christ, but instead a replacement of Moses). And now we see WHY they want to do that. Just like EVERY CULT there ever was... a cult will try to lie and claim (falsely) "only we have the secrets to salvation." Yet we know this is NOT TRUE. The Bible presents the gospel so clearly and specifically that even a child can comprehend. John 14:16 "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." Acts 4:12 "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." As we can clearly see, Jesus is not just the successor of Moses (as the Hebrew Roots would have you believe). Jesus is the ONE and only way of salvation. He is our only mediator between God and mankind (1 Tim 2:5). Jesus is the only advocate and propitiation for our sins (1 John 2:1-2). No amount of monkeying around by the Hebrew Roots movement can change that fact. Jesus is the ONE and ONLY Savior. Of all the grievous errors of the Hebrew Roots movement, this one is the most blasphemous and dangerous teaching. It is SO DANGEROUS AND WRONG that God's word calls these types of cults (such as the Hebrew roots movement) antichrist! 1 John 2:22 "Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son." ERROR #7: Hebrew Roots movement falsely claims that only "Rabbis and Priests" can understand scripture. This is a control mechanism to force people to listen only to their false "Rabbi's and Priests." They also use this lie to try to convince you that you can't study God's word yourself. What does God's word have to say about this? Matthew 23:8 "But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren." First, we see that Jesus said mankind should no longer use the title "Rabbi," because we are all brothers (and sisters) in Christ. The Hebrew Roots movement would try to make you believe Jesus' words are false. That is blatant heresy! We also know that God's word tells US to study individually ourselves, not to just sit under a teacher (and especially not a FALSE teacher such as the Hebrew Roots movement). Next, we see that we can indeed comprehend scripture when we have believed on Christ alone for salvation: 2 Tim. 2:15 "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." 1 John 2:27 "But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him." This is why we learn so much when we study God's word. Yes, it's a wonderful thing to sit under good pastorship and hear sound doctrine (if it can be found in these perilous last days). But we grow so much more in Christ when we take time to thoroughly study God's word ourselves. The Hebrew Roots movement would also do away with the purpose of the Holy Spirit as well. We know that God gave us (believers) the Holy Spirit to SEAL us unto the day of redemption (Eph. 4:30). This is our positive assurance that we are eternally secure in Christ. There is NOTHING we can do to lose our salvation! We also know that He gave us the Holy Spirit to help us discern scripture when we fully allow God to lead and guide WITHIN HIS WORD (not within some false cult's teaching, or sitting under unsound doctrine). When we read and study the Bible for ourselves, God leads and guides a believer with the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit so that we can see TRUTH in God's perfect preserved word, the Bible (John 4:24; John 14:17; John 15:26; John 16:13; Eph. 1:13; 1 John 5:6, et al). Why does the Hebrew Roots movement NOT see the error of their ways? The Holy Spirit only indwells those who have believed upon Jesus ALONE for salvation. The Hebrew Roots are trying to "work their way" to salvation. They are putting THEMSELVES on par with God! They've trusted in an extremely false gospel. It's no wonder they can't comprehend scripture (and expect others not to either), because they themselves aren't saved. They haven't trusted in Christ alone for salvation. Without salvation in Christ, they have no indwelling Holy Spirit to lead and guide. "For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God" (1 Cor.1:18). "But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned" (1 Cor.2:14). "We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error" (1 John 4:6). Here we see why WE (truly born-again believers who have believed on Christ alone for salvation) can discern the errors of the Hebrew Roots movement (as well as all other cults). We first should know God's word well enough to quickly see the errors of the false cults. And next, the indwelling Holy Spirit (which is given to all believers the moment they believe) will prove the TRUTH of God's word. Those who have NOT believed on Christ alone for salvation (and are trying in vain to work their way to heaven, like the Hebrew roots cult) do not have the Holy Spirit guiding and leading them into truth. This is so important to understand; they can't recognize truth because the truth is not in them! ERROR #8: Hebrew Roots movement propagates the lie that claims the actual Jews are not really the Jews! The Hebrew Roots movement erroneously teaches that the Jewish people are not Israel, but they believe THEY have replaced Israel. The devil is pleased with this type of antisemitism. This type of nonsense is what spurred on the holocaust and other horrific crimes committed against the Jewish people throughout the centuries. Replacement theology (often called "covenant theology" or "reformed theology") was a horrific precursor to the holocaust! This issue of the Hebrew Roots movement is horrific. MUCH scripture would again have to be omitted and twisted to arrive at this erroneous theory! Isaiah chapter 10 tells of how the Lord would regather Israel to her land. Ezekiel 37 also tells of this momentous feat. Many Jews made Aliyah to Israel (moved back or immigrated to the land of Israel), and within those Jewish people are the remnant God foretold of. 1948 saw prophecy fulfilled when the nation of Israel declared themselves a sovereign state. Isaiah 66:8 "Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children." Again, it would take quite a bit of length here to discuss that one issue fully. But be aware that the Hebrew Roots movement does not understand that prophecy has been fulfilled in the regathering of Jews back to Israel in 1948 (and since then). Also be aware that they (Hebrew Roots movement) will attempt to twist historical facts to claim that OTHER ethnic people are supposedly the "only Jews." Not only is that a grievous error, but again it's a total lack of understanding of God's literal word! SUMMARY: There aren't enough hours in the day, nor space on the internet to fully discuss ALL of the Hebrew Roots movement's lies, heresy, false teachings, and blasphemy! This was a LONG article... but these are just the brief basics of the errors of the Hebrew Roots cult. While it IS interesting to learn of the Jewish customs and traditions (and there is nothing wrong with that), the DANGER comes in when we allow those false teaching of the Hebrew Roots cult to sneak into our churches, or into our homes (by watching their false teachings on TV or the internet or even in person). The Hebrew Roots movement is one of the WORST cults there is, and sadly, one of the quickest growing cults as well. As always (and as with ANY cult), your BEST DEFENSE against these heretical and blasphemous lies is to know God's word YOURSELF. God holds us each (individually) accountable to Him to study his word like a workman (2 Tim. 2:15). Flee from this cult of evil, the Hebrew Roots movement. Iran's Hand Behind the Latest Flare Up in Gaza, Israel - Matthew R.J. Brodsky - https://freebeacon.com/national-security/irans-hand-behind-the-latest-flare-up-in-gaza-israel/ Iran meddling in Palestinian affairs, intensifying conflict The violent spasm from Hamas-run Gaza isn't just another episode in the ongoing Palestinian-Israeli conflict or merely another incident in a cycle of violence in which the Palestinians are given no agency. It is a significant escalation that tests the prevailing rules of the game with Israel where Iran is demonstrating its ability to intensify the conflict by meddling in Palestinian affairs. Despite the ceasefire previously hammered out by Egypt, a sniper from Iran's proxy-the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ)-opened fire across the Gaza fence wounding an Israeli officer and soldier on Friday. The attack is all the more brazen as it took place as Hamas and PIJ leaders were in Cairo finishing an agreement to ease the tensions in Gaza and Israel's south. The IDF responded to the initial incident by targeting a Hamas outpost, killing three Hamas terrorists. Beginning around 10 a.m. the next morning, the first of hundreds of rockets were fired by Hamas and PIJ into Israel, with around 700 launched toward Israeli homes and infrastructure by Sunday evening, killing four civilians and injuring dozens. Hamas-affiliated Shehab News Agency posted video of a salvo of rockets fired from Gaza. This latest escalation is significant for several reasons. First is the deliberate increase in range in the rockets fired from Gaza. Hamas and PIJ began by targeting Israeli communities in the Strip's periphery, such as Sderot and Ashkelon. According to the IDF, after the Home Front Command instructed residents living within 40 km of the Gaza Strip to consult with local authorities and remain near protected spaces, the terrorist groups turned to rockets with increased ranges of up to 70 km. By Sunday, several longer-range projectiles were fired, growing to encompass Ashdod further north. On Sunday, city officials opened bomb shelters as far up the coast as Netanya, which lies north of Tel Aviv. The kinds of weapons used by terrorists in Gaza are also noteworthy. Interrupting a short lull in the rocket fire, terrorists fired a guided Kornet anti-tank weapon, targeting a car and killing a civilian in Israel. According to the IDF, militants in Gaza also tried carrying out an attack using a rocket-propelled grenade (RPG) attached to a drone, which landed on a tank but failed to detonate. The IDF, working with Israel's internal security the Shin Bet, also thwarted a Hamas cyberattack against Israeli infrastructure and responded by destroying the building housing the headquarters of the terror group's cyber unit. It was the first such attack while fighting was ongoing. Of the 700 or so rockets fired from Gaza through Sunday, most landed in open fields, 90 failed to make it out of the strip, and Israel's Iron Dome missile defense system intercepted more than 170 with a success rate of over 80 percent. Despite propaganda attempts by Hamas and its own Health Ministry to blame Israel for the death of a Palestinian woman and her unborn baby, Israeli officials are adamant in refuting that claim. IDF spokesman Brig. Gen. Ronen Manelis wrote on Twitter that the death was "the terror organizations' propaganda at its finest." Jonathan Conricus, the foreign press spokesman at the IDF told journalists they were "now confident" that the deaths were not due to an Israeli strike. "Their unfortunate death was not a result of (Israeli) weaponry but a Hamas rocket that was fired and exploded not where it was supposed to," Conricus said, citing Israeli intelligence. Nevertheless, several rockets managed to make it through, killing four Israelis and wounding several dozen more. The first Israeli fatality was Moshe Agadi, a 58-year-old father of four who was killed when a rocket struck his home in Ashkelon. A 47-year-old Bedouin man, Ziad al-Hamamda, was killed Sunday by shrapnel after a direct strike on a factory, also in the city of Ashkelon. Moshe Feder, a 68-year-old man killed was killed by the Kornet anti-tank missile. A 23-year-old Israeli, Pinchas Menachem Prezuazman was also killed Sunday due to shrapnel injuries he sustained while running to a shelter in Ashdod. In these border communities, there is often less than 15 seconds of warning time between a red alert and a rocket's impact. Israel's response was also significant as it holds Hamas responsible for the situation in Gaza, especially as the precipitating event during this round occurred at the weekly Hamas-sponsored riots along the Gaza fence that have taken place for over a year. The IDF targeted approximately 320 terror sites in Gaza, including observation control rooms, underground offensive terror tunnels underground infrastructure, weapon storage facilities, military compounds, launch sites, weapons factories, and observation posts. They also targeted an underground Hamas rocket manufacturing site, weapons manufacturing facilities inside a Hamas battalion HQ, and Hamas military intelligence and security offices. Israel's navy also struck several targets. More significant is that Israel targeted dozens of private homes belonging to Hamas and PIJ commanders, including the office of Hamas' interior minister and head of Hamas security services, Twafiq Abu Naim. Moreover, Israel returned to its policy of targeted assassinations as confirmed by the IDF Spokesman. Its first targeted assassination carried out since 2014 struck a vehicle and killed 39-year-old Hamed Ahmed Abed Khudari who was in charge of large-scale money transfers from Iran to terror groups in Gaza. While Israel's usual response was to target terrorist infrastructure and assets in the economy section, these latter targets suggest an upgrade. Israel has also enhanced its air defenses in terms of personnel and equipment and augmented the capabilities of its Air Force. Israel's chief of staff ordered the deployment of the 7th armored brigade to prepare for a ground operation in Gaza if needed, along with the Golani brigade. Aside from serving as a reminder that Hamas remains as wedded as ever to its charter, which calls for the destruction of Israel as part of its "struggle against the Jews," this latest escalation also highlights the regime in Tehran's ability to impact to the situation in Israel and Gaza, which is likewise devoted to goal of wiping Israel off of the map. The latter's impact can be seen by the subversive role played by the PIJ as they often operate behind the back of Hamas leadership. As the former head of Israel's Military intelligence's Research Department, Yaakov Amidor put it, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, unlike Hamas, is a completely owned and operated Iranian subsidiary, "established by Iran, financed by Iran, and does what Iran wants it to do." A former national security adviser and current senior fellow at the Jerusalem Institute for Strategy and Security (JISS), Amidor explained, Hamas was dragged into the current escalation by PIJ, who first tried to deny their responsibility for the attack. Iran would consider it a benefit if Israel were bogged down in a major operation Gaza, which would give Iran a freer hand to continue its entrenchment enterprise in Syria. Amidor believes agreements with Hamas are unlikely to hold if PIJ acts independently and "if Hamas does not take control and do what it should as an organization that is control of the Gaza Strip." It was the PIJ who ignited this latest round even if Hamas was quick to join in. Taking credit for the strikes that reached Ashkelon, PIJ claimed it fired a new type of missile at the city and said, "what is coming next is greater." As of Sunday night and early Monday morning, Egyptian intelligence officials along with United Nations Middle East Envoy Nickolay Mladenov were reportedly mediating talks aimed at securing a ceasefire. Qatar, who actively supports Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood, has hosted Hamas external leadership, and pays Hamas civil servant salaries in Gaza, also offered to help negotiate a ceasefire. Descending Darkness - By Daymond Duck - https://www.raptureready.com/2019/05/05/descending-darkness-daymond-duck/ The Tribulation Period is called a "day of darkness" in the Bible (Joel 2:1-2; Amos 5:18; Zeph. 1:15). It is not hard for some Christians to believe that spiritual darkness is descending on Israel, the U.S., the world and the Church. First, in Israel on April 22, 2019 (the day after Easter Sunday in the U.S.), an estimated 100,000 Jews went to the Wailing Wall at the base of the Temple Mount to receive the annual Passover blessing from Jewish priests. On the same day, Jewish priests from the Temple Institute sacrificed a lamb without blemish at a location in sight of the Temple Mount. They chose a location in sight of the Temple Mount because there is no Temple, but the article said "the Temple Institute is dedicated to rebuilding the Temple on Mount Moriah (the Temple Mount) in Jerusalem." All of these things (trained priests, blessings, a growing number of worshippers, an animal sacrifice, etc.) are moving toward a rebuilt Temple and Israel going back under the Law (descending into spiritual darkness) during the Tribulation Period. Thankfully, all Israel shall be saved, so Christians should support Israel (Rom. 11:26). God will bless those that bless Israel (Gen. 12:3). For whatever it is worth, some Bible prophecy teachers think the Temple should be rebuilt at a freshwater spring called Gihon near, not on, the Temple Mount. Notice that the Temple Institute is dedicated to rebuilding the Temple on Mount Moriah in Jerusalem, not at the Gihon spring (see II Chron. 3:1). Second, in the U.S., the spiritual darkness is growing on a daily basis (terminating babies after they are born is a good thing; Rep. Ilhan Omar said Jesus is a Palestinian; Mayor Pete Buttigieg believes he is gay because God created him that way; the Boy Scout "Perversion File" shows 12,254 victims of sexual abuse, etc.). The U.S. has the Word of God, but foolish hearts have been darkened; and professing themselves to be wise, many have become fools (Rom. 1:21-32). Third, in the world on Apr. 21, 2019 (Easter Sunday), Muslims blew up eight churches and luxury hotels, killing about 250 people and injuring almost 500 in Sri Lanka. This story made the mainline news for days; but most of these stories don't get reported, or if they do, the fact that Muslims are often involved is omitted. Anyway, Open Doors USA said an average of 105 churches and/or Christian buildings are burned or attacked every month (an average of more than 3 per day), and this is expected to escalate all over the globe. God loves His Church, and the gates of hell will not prevail against it (Matt. 16:18). He has given real Christians a message of hope and light (the Gospel) that is a cure for the descending darkness that this article is documenting, but the world is persecuting and killing the messengers just like Jesus said they would (Matt 24:9). Fourth, in Canada on Apr. 25, 2019, it was announced that the Royal Canadian Mint has unveiled a new one-dollar commemorative coin with the image of two men kissing. Canada's Federal Finance Minister said, "We should all recognize that we are not at the end of this path - We have more to do." I started to write that he is sticking his finger in the eye of Canadian Christians; but no, he is sticking his finger in the eye of God, deceiving others and deceiving himself (II Tim. 3:1-5, 12-13). The only thing that will change this is the judgment of God, and that will come. Fifth, in France, a Roman Catholic Cathedral called Notre Dame recently burned, and someone suggested that it be rebuilt with a Muslim minaret on top. A final decision hasn't been made, but French Pres. Macron definitely thinks it should be rebuilt in line with diversity. He is a globalist with a dark desire for world government, open borders, the two-state solution in Israel, and now we can add world religion. The politically correct like to remind the citizens of the world that Arabs are descendants of Abraham (but they don't believe what Abraham believed). Muslims believe in God and Jesus (but not the God and Jesus of the Bible); Muslims believe in peace (but their idea of peace is the death of all non-Muslims and the establishment of an Islamic world government and world religion), etc. The spiritual darkness is great when the leader of a major nation thinks a Muslim minaret on top of an old burned out Roman Catholic church building will promote peace between the religions of the world. It will encourage more Muslim violence, not less, because they will conclude that they are winning. They like to have their Muslim buildings and symbols higher than Church buildings because they think that it shows that their religion is greater. World peace is a wonderful idea, but it will not happen until the Prince of Peace (the Light of the World) comes to deal with the darkness and rule the world. Sixth, in the Church in late April 2019, it was reported that anti-Semitism is rising in the U.S., young people are leaving the Church when they head off to college, a growing number of pastors are afraid to speak out on moral issues, etc. This descent into darkness and departing from the faith fulfills Bible prophecy. It is a new field of study, and the author really digs down into the mindset of the wives and girlfriends of SS men who made it their life's work to murder Jews. Erna Petri was one such person. One day she found six shivering Jewish boys on the side of the road; this was after the rounding-up of Jews was well underway. Petri took them into the forest and shot them in the head. I mention this story-this ghastly story-after reading this week that Israeli ambassador to the UN Danny Danon boldly declared to that corrupt body that the Bible is the Jews' title deed to the Land of Israel. How are these two stories connected? They are connected precisely because the international community has a satanic hatred of the Jews, and always will. "In an unusual speech, Israel's Ambassador to the United Nations Danny Danon defended the Jewish right to the Land of Israel, including the West Bank settlements when he addressed the United Nations Security Council on Monday afternoon." In an astonishing historical lesson, Danon minced no words: "God gave the land to the people of Israel in Genesis, when he made a covenant with Abraham, said Danon. "He held up a copy of the Bible for all the ambassadors present to see and said, 'This is our deed to our land.' "Danon set out his arguments at a time when the international community is bracing itself for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to make good on his preelection promise to annex the settlements. The international community holds that Israel's presence in the West Bank is illegal. "Danon argued that Israel has historical and biblical rights to the Holy Land, including Judea and Samaria. "'From the book of Genesis; to the Jewish exodus from Egypt; to receiving the Torah on Mount Sinai; to the gates of Canaan; and to the realization of God's covenant in the Holy Land of Israel; the Bible paints a consistent picture. The entire history of our people, and our connection to Eretz Yisrael, begins right here,' Danon said." Palestinian Ambassador Riyad Mansour of course took exception to all this. "Mansour warned Israel against taking any steps to annex the settlements in the West Bank, which he said. "'The international community must stop normalizing this occupation,' Mansour said. "'Occupation, annexation and human rights violations can never be accepted as just and normal and can never be accepted as the new normal, no matter the spin or the pretext,' he said. "Israel a 'racist apartheid state under Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu' and warned that the US has emboldened Israel's flouting of the law. "'Israel's expansionist appetite is growing. Just listen to their recent cyclical statements on their intent to annex the illegal settlements' and their 'blatant dismissal of Palestinian rights,' Mansour said." What expansionist appetite? Israel holding its nose just above the sea of Arabs in order to breathe is unacceptable to the Palestinians, themselves a political invention of history. I firmly believe that the same spirit that encouraged Erna Petri to shoot six Jewish children in a Polish forest is the same spirit that animates Mansour's hate-filled diatribe against the tiny state of Israel. I greatly admire Danon for confronting the thoroughly corrupt UN with the truth. In this week of Holocaust remembrance, it is wonderful to know that the skeletal Jews imprisoned behind barbed wire in the 1940s can now defend themselves in their historic homeland. We live in momentous times, and things are coming to a head. The killers and haters of Jews have a rendezvous with Destiny. I thank the Lord that He watches over His people. And I pray He continues to have mercy on those of us who love them, too. Here is the text of my remarks: The state of the nation is a tale of darkness and of light. Never before in history, certainly during my lifetime, have things been so visceral. The forces of darkness label anyone who disagrees with them as haters, bigots, racists, homophobes, Islamophobes, misogynists or any other "phobe" or "ist." All the while this same small army daily demonstrates their own hate, ideological bigotry, and intolerance. They are a minority, but their voices are amplified across their mainstream media propaganda machine. They mock God, demean traditional values, debase morals, and judge Christians as uneducated, gun-toting, Bible-banging bigots. While claiming to be the victims, they victimize all who disagree. Their allies in the deep state worked and are working with them to overturn and do away with the foundational principles upon which this nation was so blessed. These same forces of darkness seek to foment a neo-communist revolution to overthrow this nation and your way of life. And many good people sit back and watch; they go to their churches and think they are doing good; and they are not concerned about this new brand of communism because God is greater and God is in control. Be not deceived. Yes, God is in control, but he chooses to work through his people to make up a wall, and stand in the gap to overcome evil-That is why we pray; that is why we act, otherwise the darkness grows darker, and the light, dimmer. Why is this communism a threat? Have you ever read the Communist Manifesto? The Communist Manifesto says, in part, "But communism abolishes eternal truths, it abolishes all religion, and all morality, instead of constituting them on a new basis; it therefore acts in contradiction to all past historical experience." This is a direct attack on Christianity. It is a direct attack on our Nation. It is a direct attack on the inalienable rights endowed each of us by our Creator. This is a very active and real coup attempt by Democrats, some Republicans, the deep state within the FBI, CIA and State Department, and most of the news media. This is the state of the nation that is the tale of darkness. It should shake us to the very core. You see, the state of our nation is a tale of darkness and a tale of light. We have seen the darkness. But what did Christ say about darkness? He said you are the light of the world and that a candle gives light to all who are in the house. Many I talk to are angry about this situation. They feel helpless to address it. But address it we must. We are charged to overcome evil with good. We are exhorted to love God with all of our heart, and love our neighbor as ourselves. The conversation to change must start somewhere. We have Christ. We have the answer. We must engage. Romans 13:12 says, "The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light." We are the light. We are the part of the state of our nation that is yet to be written. This is my prayer: Father God, let it be written, for those who read about the past, that it was us, those of us here today, who defeated the darkness. Let us speak boldly as we ought to speak. Let us obey God rather than men. Let us pray. Let us act. Let us, having taken on the whole armor of God, and having done all, Let us stand. Let our testimony and good service unto God become the state of the nation. Amen. Remember the Lord, who is great and glorious, and fight for your brothers, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your homes!' - Nehemiah 4:14 The moment Nehemiah and the Jewish people started rebuilding the walls of Jerusalem, attacks came in various forms. Note how Nehemiah responded: "Then as I looked over the situation, I called together the nobles and the rest of the people and said to them, 'Don't be afraid of the enemy! Remember the Lord, who is great and glorious, and fight for your brothers, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your homes!'" (Nehemiah 4:14 NLT). What's very significant is the fact that Nehemiah's words were addressed to the men: "Fight for your brothers, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your homes!" The men were told to fight for their families. Each one, for the most part, was to build the part of the wall that was nearest to his home. If you were building the wall and your house was next to it, do you think you would do a good job of securing the wall? Of course. That is your house, and in that house is your family. Men, if someone were to break into your house, would you defend your wife and children? Of course you would. You would stop the intruder. You would do what needs to be done. But what about a spiritual attack against your wife? What about a spiritual attack against your children or your grandchildren? Would you be there as well? We need more men of God leading their families and setting an example. Men, stop being slackers. Get up and lead. You lead in other areas, so lead in this one. Lead your family in Bible study. Lead your family to church. Lead your family in prayer. Be that man of God. Make your stand in your own home first. You will be so blessed if you do this.
