Israel is in a fierce fight to protect its country and its citizens. There are thousands of Hamas-driven rioters on the Gaza border demanding entry. They are using children as political pawns, taking a page out of the Syrian opposition's recent playbook. The Palestinians in Gaza launched Operation "Right of Return" several weeks ago in which tens of thousands of Palestinians have rioted, threatening to cross over. These rioters are minutes from residential homes. What the media doesn't show you is you can see these homes from the border where the rioting is taking place. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu recently unveiled absolute proof that Iran has nuclear weapons and has had a nuclear program for years. The Israeli Special Forces, The "Mossad," were able to retrieve 55,000 pages of documented Iranian nuclear plans. These documents were hidden in a dilapidated warehouse. Inside the warehouse were Iran's top secrets regarding their nuclear program. Iran is embarrassed. They are also nervous with the release of these documents proving how they are violating the nuclear agreement-a bogus agreement from the start despite claims from the former Obama administration officials and Obama himself. God told us, "For there is nothing hid, which shall not be manifested; neither was anything kept secret, but that it should come into the open." As the IDF protects its border from this threat of invasion, the real human-rights crimes are going unreported. The media shows images of children being brought to the planned riots, but nobody questions why children are anywhere near the violence. The answer is obvious, and I've said it before. The death of one Palestinian child is worth all the dead children in the Middle East. Yasser Arafat would be so proud of the myth and lie he helped create-the Palestinian people. One of the major claims from Palestinians is "we just want the pre-1967 borders." Yet, when they had these borders prior to 1967, Israel was still under constant attack. There is no right to return to Israel for anyone but the Jewish people. Christianity has more of a claim to the holy land then the Palestinians. After all, they also have a PROVABLE 2,000-year presence in Jerusalem. Originally Jordanian, the Palestinian people were invented in the 1960's by anti-Semites in an effort to once again delegitimize the Jewish people and their ancient homeland. After the second temple's destruction in 70 AD by Titus Flavius and the Roman 10th legion, the Jewish people that survived were taken from Israel and were enslaved. They built the massive coliseum in Rome, which was a house of horrors for Christians and Jews. Christian men, women and children were slaughtered by the thousands, all in the name of sport and to show Rome's power and greatness. The arch the Romans built, glorifying their defeat of the Jewish people, still stands today in Rome. It depicts fresco carvings and paintings showing that the Jews, all of their temple gold, golden menorahs etc., were dragged into Rome. A Roman coin from the period depicts a Jewish woman chained to a tree, weeping, with a Roman soldier standing before her. Tens of thousands of Jewish men and women were massacred and thousands more enslaved. It historically happened, and it's part of the Jewish people's history. Their roots are in Israel. Israel does not belong to the Palestinians; it belongs to GOD, and He gave it to Jacob (named Israel) through His covenant with Abraham! "Abram fell facedown, and God said to him, 'As for me, this is my covenant with you: You will be the father of many nations. No longer will you be called Abram; your name will be Abraham, for I have made you a father of many nations.'" One of those nations is Israel. Israel is the apple of God's eye. As these Muslim nations keep poking Israel, they are poking God in the eye. It's not a smart thing to do. "For thus hath the LORD of the hosts said; After the glory he shall send me unto the Gentiles which spoiled you, for he that touches you touches the apple of his eye.'" There are an estimated 80,000 Iranian soldiers in Syria, and Israel is supposed to stand down and be OK with this. NO! Enough! Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu are a formidable force together. Donald Trump is not Obama - our relationship with Israel is once again strong! Our alliance is unbreakable. Why? The United States was founded on the blood, sweat and tears of our founding fathers, who not only had a fear of God but submitted to God. Our founding fathers were Christian men. We worship the same God as the Jewish people: Jehovah; the Alpha and the Omega; the beginning and the end; the God that knows all things; the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. That is why our bond and alliance is so strong. God will bless those that bless Israel and curse those that curse Israel. Our forefathers came here escaping religious persecution. This nation was founded on religious freedom. It defends liberty. It also does something else. The U.S defends Israel like no other. If the US, a PERMANENT member of the UN, didn't veto the numerous accusations and resolutions against Israel, they may not even exist today. The UN certainly will not help Israel. The United States was created to spread and protect Christianity, to preach the gospel to the world, and I truly feel to protect the apple of God's eye. Iran is against the wall right now. They are afraid of President Trump. They know he is unpredictable. They know he says what he means and means what he says. When you have Iran against a wall, with Russia as an alliance, that's not a good combo. They will retaliate soon, and Israel is in their line of site. Are they going to strike Israel first? By Benjamin Netanyahu releasing, personally I might add, proof that the Iran deal was packed with deceit and lies, will this anger Iran and Russia to the point of starting a war? Attacking the apple of God's eye? Netanyahu also proved that Iran has indeed been building nuclear weapons, and well before Obama helped them out with cash. That cash helped them speed up their nuclear program and weapons-making capabilities. Iran's main ally, Russia, has warned Israel against any further strikes on Syria, that they will strike Israel if their defense systems given to Syria are hit. All of the end-time countries we were warned of are lined up, ready to strike. "Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem." "And this shall be the plague with which the LORD will strike all the people who fought against Jerusalem: Their flesh shall dissolve while they stand on their feet, Their eyes shall dissolve in their sockets, And their tongues shall dissolve in their mouths" (Zechariah 14:12, NKJV). This can only be describing nuclear war. It's on the horizon. The question again is, who will blink first? Who will strike first? We don't know the timing, but we know it's all happening right on Israel's border, just as prophesied. It's Easy to see a two-hundred-million-man army when you consider Recep Tayyip Erdogan calling for ALL Muslims to unite and invade Israel. Just as God said it would happen, it's happening. Is it possible that Israel comes under such an attack and invasion that their only option is nuclear? Israel's nuclear arsenal is better known as the "Samson Option." In Judges 16:28, Samson begged God to allow his strength to return to him one last time! God granted Solomon his strength. With his renewed strength, Solomon destroyed the house of the Philistines. He not only killed himself but took 3,000 Philistines with him. Israel's Samson Option is a last resort if they are being overrun, and the Bible tells us they will be overrun. Israel is well-known to have a large nuclear arsenal. It's estimated at around 400 nuclear warheads. This makes Israel the third largest nuclear power in the world, behind Russia and the U.S. "Then Samson called to the LORD, Almighty LORD, please remember me! God, give me strength just one more time! Let me get even with the Philistines for at least one of my two eyes." When Israel chose the name "the Samson Option," they were notifying the world that if they go down, all of their enemies who struck them will go down right with her. They will have nothing to lose if they use this Samson Option. Israel is surrounded by Muslims that want to kill them. They will rape the women and enslave them. They will murder the young boys and men. Maybe the Samson Option is preferable to what has awaited so many at the hands of enraged Islamic men. This coming persecution and slaughter is nothing new for the Jewish people, but it will be the worst persecution they've ever faced. The Jews have been persecuted and slaughtered for thousands of years, their temple destroyed twice and the people enslaved or exiled. In the 8th century, Muslims forced Jews and Christians (people of the book) to wear identifying clothing. Jews wore a yellow belt or fringes on their clothing under Islamic law. Then, a few years later, Jews were forced to wear a yellow patch in the shape of a donkey, and Christians had to wear a patch in the shape of swine. Beginning around the 12th century, under Holy Roman Byzantine rule, Jews were forced to identify themselves by a yellow star patch they had to wear on their breast. Adolf Hitler simply reintroduced branding of the Jews in the twentieth century; he reintroduced the yellow star. The Spanish Inquisition was a terrible time for Christians, but it was no better for the Jews. The Inquisitions did not start in Spain; it was under the Roman Emperor Pope Innocent III where Jews were first burned alive. The mass slaughter of Christians then easily led to the slaughtering of the Jewish people-all done in the name of "religion." In 1288, the first burning of Jews on the stake happened in France. In 1481, the Inquisition started in Spain. In 1660, people across Europe suffered with what we know as the "Black death" or "bubonic plague." The Jewish people were blamed for this. In reality though, the Jewish people by following God's customs and laws were much cleaner, and this was why they were less likely to become sick. Simply washing hands (as we know today) helped prevent the spread of this disease. So their cleanliness is what spared so many, earning scorn and hatred. Meanwhile, the Europeans' water and sewage system in the Middle Ages wasn't even as sophisticated as the Roman and Greek water systems a thousand years before. Sanitation was primitive. In Europe, the sewage disposal was in the middle of the street, which lead to the spread of the killer disease. Adolf Hitler tried to systematically eliminate the Jewish people altogether, like so many antichrists through time before him. The holocaust lead to the slaughter of over six million Jews. Throughout the centuries, the Jewish people were displaced all over. In 1948, the "remnants of the people" started returning to their homeland in droves and by the grace of God. No more "wandering," looking for a home of their own. After Israel once again became a nation, it was also no longer a barren desert; it became a flower in the desert just as God said it would be. "The wilderness and the wasteland shall be glad for them, And the desert shall rejoice and blossom as the rose; it shall blossom abundantly and rejoice, Even with joy and singing." Mark Twain wrote the following about Jerusalem when traveling in 1867: "A desolate country whose soil is rich enough, but is given over wholly to weeds... a silent mournful expanse.... a desolation.... we never saw a human being on the whole route.... hardly a tree or shrub anywhere. Even the olive tree and the cactus, those fast friends of a worthless soil, had almost deserted the country." He also did not take note of this mythical "Palestinian" people. Remember, Israel's name was changed by a Roman Emperor, Hadrian, to disconnect the Jews that did return. (More about that here: http://www.raptureready.com/2018/01/09/palestinian-people/.) It was the Jewish people that made Israel bloom, by God's hand-nobody else. Fulfilling prophecy! There is a time of trouble coming to Israel. Jesus told us this was going to be a time of trouble and persecution that this world has never seen. BUT Israel will be saved by God. Jeremiah tells us, "Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob's trouble; but he shall be saved out of it." Jesus tells us the tribulation will be a terrible time. God will destroy the nations that attack Israel. "Though I completely destroy all the nations among which I scatter you [Israel], I will not completely destroy you. I will discipline you but only with justice; I will not let you go entirely unpunished." The Jewish people broke God's covenant. They were without a homeland for 1,900 years. They were persecuted, mocked and scorned from Nebuchadnezzar to Hitler. After Hitler, we heard "never again," but anti-Semitism is once again on the rise. The persecution coming will cause the Jewish people to cry out to God, and He will hear them - saving them and restoring them into His everlasting covenant. "Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah-not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, though I was a husband to them, says the Lord." God will make a new covenant with the Jewish people, through His son Jesus Christ. The old covenant was written on stone and easily broken. The new covenant is written in our hearts. God will not only remove the hardening but give them new hearts. The Holy Spirit will dwell in them, and they will no longer cry out for their temple but cry out in praise of Jesus. "I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws." This new everlasting covenant is through the shed blood of Jesus. When Jesus was here, he instructed the disciples to go and share His message, first to the Jew, then the Gentile. When the Jewish people rejected the Messiah, God sent His message to the Gentiles. But He did not forget the Jewish people. He did not forget His covenant with Abraham. "Because of unbelief they were broken off, and you stand by faith. Do not be haughty, but fear. For if God did not spare the natural branches, He may not spare you either." Has the hardening of the Jewish people's hearts against Jesus started to soften? God has not abandoned the Jewish people but has kept His promises to bring Israel back to its land in the last days. God does not break covenants. And soon all of Israel will know who the Messiah truly is. In the last century, there have been thousands of Jewish people converting to Christianity. Their eyes are being uncovered and their hearts unhardened. "I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers and sisters, so that you may not be conceited: Israel has experienced a hardening in part until the full number of the Gentiles has come in, and in this way all Israel will be saved" (Romans 11:25-26). With this un-hardening of the heart also comes great tribulation. "It will come about in all the land,' declares the Lord, 'that two parts in it will be cut off and perish; but the third will be left in it. And I will bring the third part through the fire, refine them as silver is refined, and test them as gold is tested. We are living on borrowed time. People have been saying "the end is near" for almost 2,000 years, but we are actually living in the last generation. Jesus told us specifically what the signs of His coming would be. Those signs are becoming clearer every day. Israel needs the United States right now like no other time in the last 70 years. Thank God we have a president that once again protects Israel and her people. As Christians we are to spread Jesus Christ's message; this includes to the Jewish people! In the last days, Christians are needed more than ever. Israel needs your support more than ever. We must not get comfortable and not vote in November. Israel was pushed out and left on her own under the Democratic Party. Don't let them poke God in the eye again! As we get closer to the return of the Messiah, things will get worse. The Jewish people are not the only people that will face persecution. The persecution against Christians has started, but it's only going to get worse. There is comfort in God's word though. "Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak." The spirit is indeed willing to stand for Jesus and proclaim His name, but our flesh is weak in that we will fear our fate whether it's mockery, ridicule or scorn. In other parts of the world it's death! Spiritually we are ready without question or fear. Physically, In the face of persecution or death, we must stand firm, we must be strong in our faith. Never deny Him. If you deny Him before men, He will deny you before His Father. This life is nothing compared to what He has in store for you! "But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven." "And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth" (John 1:14). Jesus prayed to God for strength when He was in the garden. He feared what His flesh was going to experience. His spirit was willing to do whatever God told him. He asked God if it was possible to let this pass. THEN HE DID GOD'S WILL. HE LISTENED TO GOD. "And He was withdrawn from them about a stone's throw, and He knelt down and prayed, saying, 'Father, if it is Your will, take this cup away from Me; nevertheless not My will, but Yours, be done.' Then an angel appeared to Him from heaven, strengthening Him. And being in agony, He prayed more earnestly. Then His sweat became like great drops of blood falling down to the ground." He willingly was led to the cross like a lamb being led to slaughter. FOR YOU. He died for our sins. Don't let your flesh decide your spiritual fate; let the Holy Spirit within you lead you. Jesus came in the flesh, God's word made flesh as an example of how we are to live. Don't live for the world; live for God. He came to divide, like a harvester divides the good wheat from the bad. So will Jesus separate us, the good from the bad. Which side do you want to be on? "But why do you call Me 'Lord, Lord,' and not do the things which I say? Whoever comes to Me, and hears My sayings and does them, I will show you whom he is like: He is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock. And when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently against that house, and could not shake it, for it was founded on the rock. But he who heard and did nothing is like a man who built a house on the earth without a foundation, against which the stream beat vehemently; and immediately it fell. And the ruin of that house was great." Israel Goes on High Alert Over Syria As Trump Quits Iran Nuclear Deal - http://www.prophecynewswatch.com/article.cfm?recent_news_id=2239 Syrian state media accused Israel of launching missiles at a target near Damascus on Tuesday, shortly after US President Donald Trump announced he was quitting the Iranian nuclear deal, a move that had prompted Israel to go on high alert. The Israeli military said that, upon identifying "irregular activity" by Iranian forces in Syria, it instructed civic authorities on the Golan Heights to ready bomb shelters, deployed new defenses and mobilized some reservist forces. Israel's top general, Gadi Eizenkott, canceled a scheduled appearance at an annual security conference and was conferring with Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman and other national security chiefs, officials said. Trump's hard tack against the nuclear deal, while welcomed by Israel, has stirred fears of a possible regional flare-up. Within two hours of the White House announcement, Syrian state news agency SANA reported explosions in Kisweh, south of Damascus. Syrian air defenses fired at two Israeli missiles, destroying both, SANA said. A commander in the regional alliance supporting Syrian President Bashar al-Assad told Reuters that Israel's air force had struck an army base at Kisweh without causing casualties. Asked about those statements, an Israeli military spokeswoman said: "We do not respond to such foreign reports." Iran and Lebanon's Hezbollah have been helping Assad beat back a seven-year-old rebellion. Israel has carried out repeated air strikes against them, hoping to stop the formation of a Lebanese-Syrian front to its north. An April 9 strike killed seven Iranian military personnel at a Syrian airbase. Iran blamed Israel and vowed to retaliate. Israeli media said Tuesday's order to prepare bomb shelters on the Golan was unprecedented during Syria's civil war. Israel has posted Iron Dome short-range air defenses on the Golan, local media said, suggesting that the anticipated attack could be by ground-to-ground rockets or mortars. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made a televised address lauding Trump's Iran policy and alluding to the tensions over Syria. "For months now, Iran has been transferring lethal weaponry to its forces in Syria, with the purpose of striking at Israel," Netanyahu said. "We will respond mightily to any attack on our territory." On Twitter, Lieberman said he had spoken to his US counterpart James Mattis and "updated him on regional developments." Proverbs 21:1 (The Israel Bible™) Prophecy and politics are quickly converging as US President Donald Trump on Tuesday withdrew US involvement in the nuclear deal with Iran, known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), while a conflict between Israel and Iran looms imminent in Syria. As pundits scratch their heads over this political Gordian Knot, Rabbi Pinchas Winston, an end-of-days expert, suggests that "prophetic reverse engineering" makes the solution and outcome of this political dilemma crystal clear. In background, Trump announced that the US is withdrawing from the deal concerning Iran's nuclear program signed in 2015 with the five permanent members of the United Nations Security Council plus Germany. In his speech, the president identified Iran as "the leading state sponsor of terror." "No action taken by the regime has been more dangerous than its pursuit of nuclear weapons and the means of delivering them," the president said. "In theory, the so-called Iran deal was supposed to protect the United States and our allies from the lunacy of an Iranian nuclear bomb... In fact, the deal allowed Iran to continue enriching uranium and, over time, reach the brink of a nuclear breakout." He said that at the heart of the Iran deal was "a giant fiction: that a murderous regime desired only a peaceful nuclear energy program. Today, we have definitive proof that this Iranian promise was a lie." The president based his statements on findings presented last week by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in what is being dubbed the "Iran lied" speech. "It didn't bring calm, it didn't bring peace, and it never will," Trump said. "America will not be held hostage to nuclear blackmail... We will not allow a regime that chants 'Death to America' to gain access to the most deadly weapons on earth." After the announcement, the president signed a memorandum reinstating the high level of economic sanctions that were lifted as a result of the JCPOA. The president also threatened that any country that aids Iran may also be sanctioned. The announcement comes three days before the May 12 deadline the president set for the other countries to renegotiate the terms in a manner that would better safeguard Iranian compliance. The reaction to Trump's decision was immediate. The Iranian Parliament held an impromptu ceremony in which a US flag was burned while politicians chanted "Death to America." British Prime Minister Theresa May, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, and French President Emmanuel Macron released a joint statement saying the decision was a matter of "regret and concern." The Russian Foreign Ministry released a statement calling Trump's decision "a new confirmation of Washington's incompetence." In stark contrast, the response from Israel to Trump's announcement was overwhelmingly positive. Netanyahu's praised Trump's "courageous leadership" in making "a historic move," underscoring the strength of the alliance between Israel and the US. "Israel fully supports President Trump's bold decision today to reject the disastrous nuclear deal with the terrorist regime in Tehran," Netanyahu said in a statement broadcast live from his office directly after Trump's announcement. "The removal of sanctions under the deal has already produced disastrous results," said Netanyahu. "The deal didn't push war further away, it actually brought it closer. The deal didn't reduce Iran's aggression, it dramatically increased it. We see this across the entire Middle-East...and mostly in Syria where Iran is trying to establish military bases from which to attack Israel." As both Trump and Netanyahu stated, the three years since the signing of the JCPOA have seen an increase in Iran's disruptive influence in the region. In a timely illustration of that point, the US withdrawal from the agreement was followed by a missile attack against an Iranian base in Syria. "Nine fighters belonging to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps or pro-Iranian Shiite militias have been killed," Rami Abd el-Rahman, director of the Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, told AFP. Though the Israeli government did not comment on the strike or its origins, northern Israel has been on high-alert in recent days due to "abnormal Iranian movements in Syria," as described in an IDF tweet. The IDF told the press that missile defense batteries had been deployed in northern Israel and there is "high preparedness" of IDF troops for an attack. On Sunday, broadcast media warned Israelis that an Iranian attack was expected in retaliation for an airstrike in Syria last month that killed seven Iranian military personnel. "Israel has recently identified with certainty Iranian preparations to fire at the north," Channel 10 said. "We are not on the eve of war with Iran... but Iran is very determined to carry out an attack." Prophetic Implications Though the situation seems complex, involving many nations with diverse interests, Winston, a prolific author on end-of-days subjects, described a relatively straightforward technique for understanding the developing political situation. "We just have to employ prophetic reverse-engineering," Rabbi Winston told Breaking Israel News. "It should be easy since we already know what the end is going to be: Moshiach (Messiah). Now we just have to understand how these pieces of current events fit into the plan the prophets already laid out." "When you look at it that way, everything is connected," Rabbi Winston said. "It is no coincidence that Trump withdrew from the Iran deal at the same time Iran is confronting Israel in Syria." Rabbi Winston noted that so many disparate current events are actually connected at the Messiah endpoint. "Even though it is not directly connected to the Iran deal, moving the embassy to Jerusalem is an essential part of the geula," Rabbi Winston said. "The embassy is political and not part of the Temple but it is clearly a step in the process. On a political level, it is entirely incongruous but in a geula context, it makes total sense." The nascent Sanhedrin, an initiative to reinstate the 71 elders in a Biblically mandated high-court, had high praise for Trump. "President Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu are emissaries from Hashem [God] sent to save Israel from another Holocaust that all the other nations of the world were into on carrying out," Rabbi Hillel Weiss, the Sanhedrin's spokesman, told Breaking Israel News, citing a verse in Psalms that he felt best described the JCPOA. They say, "Let us wipe them out as a nation; Yisrael's name will be mentioned no more." Unanimous in their counsel they have made an alliance against You- Psalms 83:5-6 "His withdrawal from the counsel of the evil nations reinforces our belief that Trump is following in the footsteps of the Persian King Cyrus who ended the Babylonian exile and helped the Jews build the Second Temple," Rabbi Weiss said. "Whether or not there will be a war, Trump foiled these plans. This day should be a day of joy and giving thanks to God." (2 Timothy 3:1-5) We have looked at each individually and collectively. Paul's description of how humanity will be while the wrap-up of the Age of Grace nears its end has proven to be stunningly accurate. Of course, this shouldn't surprise, because the apostle received the descriptive directly from the mind of the Living God. Paul tells us that the nearer the Church Age comes to its conclusion, the more self-centered human beings will become. We have discussed in these commentaries that-in my view, at least, the "selfie" -photos of one's self-is such a manifestation of Paul's prophetic characterization. It is perhaps somewhat of a humorous example, but an example, nonetheless. Combined with social media and the desire of so many to one-up others in lifestyle creation -often fictional-the selfie becomes even more significant in fulfillment of this prophetic element. We have gone over other characteristics of end-times man Paul lays out in this prophetic passage. Another example of these characteristics manifesting in our society and culture today is that men will be "without natural affection." My own view of this prophetic manifestation in our time is, of course, homosexuality and abortion. My wonderment has always been: How can anyone consider sexual relations with a person of the same sex as "natural" activity? How can anyone believe abortion to be "natural" in a mother dealing with a baby in her womb? Yet these are two of the most prominent social and cultural manifestations of our day. We know from our daily news of how "fierce" people can be in dealing with each other. This sort of murderous news seems to be the kind that most interests the viewing public-thus stimulates the news-reporting sources to broadcast it. All we have to do is consider many of our congressional leaders and other governmental "servants"-such as those within our judicial system-to see the truth in Paul's condemning words about mankind being "heady" and "high-minded." These more often than not go against the will of the people in making decisions that "rule," not "serve," we the people. Now we come to the title of the commentary-the characteristic Paul terms "false accusers." This characteristic of end-times man has, in my view, become the most manifest of all for this particular hour while the end of the age draws to its conclusion. The 2016 presidential election has brought this one front and center for all to clearly discern. Any sound-thinking people can-if they simply open their eyes and ears-realize that the effort to destroy this president and his presidency has been the drive of the political left. As a matter of fact, I have characterized it as a satanic rage by both human and demonic minions that come against this administration's efforts to get America back on track. Certainly, America has been derailed, moving farther and farther away from God's directions for life on earth as put forth in His Holy Word. Having been founded on godly principles by the Founding Fathers, it has been Satan's plan to remove all tethers from those spiritual moorings. He has been phenomenally successful in doing so. The former presidential administration and its deleterious achievements are proof of the fallen one's success in that regard. The nefarious work of Satan and the minions continue. They do so through "false accusation." There are so many false accusers and false accusations that one commentary could not begin to cover them. So, we will look briefly at the most obvious of the false accusations. I'm thinking here about Christopher Steele, a former British intelligence agent who, for payment, apparently, by the opponent candidate's campaign against Donald Trump, wrote a fictional dossier, falsely accusing Trump of salacious activity while in a hotel room in Russia. This was done, it has been proven through many months of closely examining the facts, in order to give the FISA judge reason to issue permission to open investigation into Trump's collusion with Russia in the defeat of Hillary Clinton. It is all totally false, of course, but Muller's investigation goes on. This is false accusation manifest for all the world to see. No matter which channel or network that is giving news, this is the number-one story. And, it has proven to be totally "fake news." That, friends and countrymen, is "false accusers" doing their minion work right in our faces. This particular characteristic of end-times man, forewarned by Paul the apostle, threatens to create a constitutional crisis, threatens to tear apart the United States by dividing America in a way not even the Civil War could accomplish. The only comforting thing those who are under the saving grace of the Lord Jesus Christ can take from all this is that seeing all this in our headlines today means that our redemption is drawing near. Daily Jot: Fallout from Trump ditching Iran nuke deal - Bill Wilson - www.dailyjot.com The Iranian-backed Houthi movement fired missiles over Saudi Arabia from Yemen. Israel's military says it identified irregular activity by Iranian forces in Syria, causing bomb shelters in the Golan Heights to be opened to citizens. Iranian lawmakers did the same thing in response to President Donald Trump pulling out of the Iranian nuclear deal as they did when the previous "president" entered the deal-burn the American flag and shout "Death to America." Sounds like a pretty normal day in the Middle East-Islamic led violence against Israel and Islamists trying to kill Islamists with which they don't agree. What's not normal is that the United States is no longer part of empowering the foremost sponsor of terrorism-Iran. AP reports, "Israel's prime minister is praising President Donald Trump for withdrawing the U.S. from the 2015 Iran nuclear deal. Benjamin Netanyahu called Trump's decision Tuesday a "historic move." He says leaving the Iran deal unchanged would be "a recipe for disaster, a disaster for our region, a disaster for the peace of the world." Netanyahu is a leading critic of the deal, saying it did not contain sufficient safeguards to prevent Iran from reaching nuclear-weapons capability or address Iran's other activities across the region. He says Iran's aggression has grown since the deal, especially in Syria, where he says it is "trying to establish military bases to attack Israel."" Siding with Russia's response, AP reports that the previous US "president" who signed the infamous Iran deal, "is calling President Donald Trump's decision to pull out of the Iran deal a "serious mistake" that will erode America's global credibility. ... He said Tuesday that Trump's decision to withdraw is "misguided," especially because Iran has been complying..."The consistent flouting of agreements that our country is a party to risks eroding America's credibility, and puts us at odds with the world's major powers."" AP reported the ex "president" claiming that without the deal, the U.S. "could eventually be left with a losing choice between a nuclear-armed Iran or another war in the Middle East."" Let's look at the obvious. Iran has used the $100 billion the ex US "president" shipped it on pallets to foment war and terrorism, and according to Netanyahu's documentation, continue its nuclear and missile development program. The ex "president," who started all this current unrest with his support of the Arab Spring revolutions across the Middle East, says without the Iranian deal the US would be faced with a choice of a nuclear Iran or another Middle East war. Wow. Isn't that the same choice as with his Iran agreement intact? While the world is worried over the fallout of America abandoning the Iran nuclear deal, we should be more concerned that America is aligned with God's position in the Middle East. Psalm 122:6 says, "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love you."-a good place to start. Coming up behind Jesus, she touched the fringe of his robe. Immediately, the bleeding stopped. -Luke 8:43-44 The people were moving in on Jesus. Everyone wanted a piece of Him as He made His way through the crowd. Then He suddenly stopped and said, "Who touched me?" (Luke 8:45 NLT). One of His disciples said, "Master, this whole crowd is pressing up against you" (verse 45 NLT). But Jesus said, "Someone deliberately touched me, for I felt healing power go out from me" (verse 46 NLT). Everyone denied it, although everyone was touching Him. Then the crowd parted, and there was a woman, falling on her knees before the Lord. The people probably thought Jesus was going to rebuke her. But Jesus didn't want to criticize her; He wanted to commend her. He said, "Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace" (verse 48 NLT). This woman recognized that Jesus could heal her, and she touched Him in faith. We don't know what her ailment was, other than she had some kind of serious problem with bleeding. Whatever it was, it caused continual bleeding for twelve painful years. This was a drawback in their culture due to the stigma and humiliation that came with such a thing. It was second only to leprosy for the shame and rejection that it would bring, because it would have caused her to be declared ceremonially unclean. Because everything revolved around the synagogue, she was alone. She was ostracized. She was in pain. And she had spent all of her money on doctors. But in the midst of the years of disappointment and rejection, she believed God would heal and touch her. You can reach out and touch Jesus right now-not religion or church. Touch Jesus. He can touch you. He can change you. He can help you to be the person that He wants you to be.
