One, I want to start by offering my opinion on something. It is my opinion that the U.S. will be part of the North American Union (NAU; now called the USMCA; the NAFTA replacement agreement that is now scheduled to go into effect on July 1, 2020). This will make the U.S. one of several regional groups of nations, each region will ultimately have a leader, there will eventually be 10 regions and leaders, and the 10 leaders will ultimately be known as the Ten Kings and dominated by the EU. There seems to be no question that the U.S. is becoming morally and economically weaker, and the Rapture will weaken the U.S. more. A weaker U.S. is making the Battle of Gog and Magog more likely, and it could hasten the rise of the Ten Kings, the EU and the Antichrist. Two, my last article said, "on Apr. 22, 2020, it was reported that 19 members of the G-20 held a virtual meeting and called for a document to be signed to strengthen the WHO and put it in charge of a coordinated worldwide response to the Coronavirus Crisis." We can be thankful that Pres. Trump did not sign the document, but if he had signed it, the WHO would already have the power to identify, mark and track everyone on earth (see Rev. 13:15-17). The group plans to hold another meeting on May 4, 2020; and this is so important, I want to go back to it. The WHO wants the G-20 to empower it to force everyone on earth to be identified, vaccinated and tattooed (Marked), and they want to deny those that refuse to be vaccinated the right to leave their house, hold a job, buy, sell, etc. Church leaders should oppose political leaders giving permission to the WHO to decide whether Church members can leave their houses, meet and worship or not. Following guidelines that come down from the WHO is how some officials justify telling churches what to do, arresting pastors, fining Christians that do not obey, etc. The WHO issues a guideline, politicians and the media say we must listen to these "scientists and go by their data," and they try to force Christians to submit without giving Christians a voice in the matter. Why should Christians submit to leaders that are ignoring the Church and obeying unbelievers in the WHO? How can U.S. citizens even consider turning control of their healthcare and freedom of religion over to foreigners in the UN? Gates' dad headed up Planned Parenthood, and Gates holds many of his dad's beliefs. I don't know what will be in Gates' vaccine, but there have been lots of reports that some vaccines use aborted fetal parts. "If the blind lead the blind, they will both fall into the ditch" (Matt. 15:14). Three, on Apr. 28, 2020, it was reported that thermal imaging cameras are already being installed at some businesses. People with a temperature above 100.4 degrees will be asked to leave. Several years ago, it was reported that scanners would be placed in front of the entrance to stores during the Tribulation Period, and the store doors will not open for people that do not have the Mark. Four, on Apr. 30, 2020, it was reported that Knox County, TN, officials released their Phase One plan for reopening places of worship, and they suggested:
Five, On April 30, 2020, it was reported that Bill Gates said people could start being vaccinated with his Coronavirus vaccine as soon as 12 months from now, and he should be able to produce billions of doses by late 2021. As I have said before, the vaccine and tattoo (Mark) that Gates and the WHO are working on are not the Mark of the Beast, but a vaccine with a global ID number and a mandatory, trackable tattoo under the skin is a major step toward the Mark of the Beast (and a major sign that the Rapture is close). It is important to realize that the Mark of the Beast is the mark, name or number of the Antichrist (Rev. 13:17); he is the son of perdition; he is being restrained by the Holy Spirit; he will come according to the working of Satan (II Thess. 2:3, 6-7, 9); he will come out of the bottomless pit (Rev. 11:7); he will blaspheme God (Rev. 13:6); and he will behead people that refuse to take his mark (Rev. 20:4). This does not mean that Gates is the Antichrist, but it does mean that Gates' goal is a stark reminder that Satan's Antichrist is coming. Six, on Apr. 29, 2020, it was reported that Pres. Trump has launched a program called "Operation Warp Speed" and given it the task of trying to produce 300 million doses of vaccine by the end of 2020. Pharmaceutical companies, researchers, government agencies and the U.S. military have been asked to work together at U.S. government expense to rapidly identify, test and produce the most promising vaccines. This could be an answer to prayer, but Fauci is involved; and if it requires a global ID number and a mandatory, trackable tattoo (Mark), it could become a curse to those that are left behind. Seven, on Apr. 30, 2020, Bill Gates wrote, "I know it'll (vaccinating everyone on earth) get done. There's simply no alternative" (notice no alternative). Eight, on May 1, 2020, Pres. Trump issued an emergency use authorization for the experimental drug remdesivir and, to his credit, Fauci said, "it has a clear-cut, significant, positive effect in diminishing the time of recovery," but he called it a "first step." Nine, on Apr. 29, 2020, it was reported that the UN International Labour Organization (ILO) said there are 3.3 billion workers on earth, and almost half (1.6 billion) are in immediate danger of losing their jobs. If this problem is not solved, it will result in the kind of economic collapse, malnutrition, pestilence and death described in the Bible (Rev. 6:5-8). Ten, earlier this year, the Jewish Sanhedrin applied for a permit to sacrifice a lamb on the Temple Mount on Passover. The government turned them down in anticipation of Muslim violence. Currently, Jews and Muslims are not allowed on the Temple Mount because of the Coronavirus lockdown. So, the Jewish Sanhedrin has requested government permission to sacrifice a lamb on the Temple Mount on May 7, 2020. The Torah (first 5 books of Bible) allows those that could not sacrifice a lamb on Passover to make it up one month later (Num. 9:10-11). What the government will do remains to be seen. Eleven, the Arab League held an urgent video meeting on Apr. 30, 2020, and condemned Israel for planning to annex part of Judea and Samaria. Palestinian leaders said Israeli annexation of any part of Judea and Samaria will end the Two-State solution. Israel has been warned not to annex any territory by leaders of several EU nations, but as of now, Netanyahu plans to submit his annexation request to the Israeli Knesset on July 1, 2020. (The U.S. appears ready to recognize what Israel does.) Twelve, on May 2, 2020, it was reported that 28 meat processing plants are now shutdown in the U.S., and Kroger said there will be shortages at some stores. In the Bible, God warned everyone that world government is a bad thing. It is now obvious that globalist policies will fulfill God's Word; destroy the world's economy; create global unrest; and impoverish, starve, and enslave multitudes on earth. Daymond & Rachel Duck [email protected] Will Annexing Settlements Cause World To Turn On Israel? - By Jonathan Tobin/JNS.org - https://www.prophecynewswatch.com/article.cfm?recent_news_id=4034 Just how far can Israel go to assert its rights over disputed territory without doing genuine harm to its vital interests? That's a debate that has divided Israelis since June 1967 when in the course of a defensive war it came into possession of the lands of what the Kingdom of Jordan called the West Bank, and Jewish tradition calls Judea and Samaria. The arguments about whether Israel should have created Jewish communities in both the West Bank and the parts of Jerusalem that were illegally occupied by Jordan between 1948 and 1967 are now moot. The Jewish state's enemies don't recognize the historical, religious and legal arguments that Israel rightly points to as allowing Jews to settle in the heart of its ancient homeland. But the Palestinians have repeatedly rejected such offers, including those that would have given them an independent state provided that they were willing to end their century-long war on Zionism. Had they accepted any one of them over the course of the last 20 years, discussion about the settlements would not even be on the table. So in the absence of a Palestinian desire to recognize the legitimacy of a Jewish state, no matter where its borders are drawn, Israel has three choices. It can repeat Ariel Sharon's 2005 disastrous experiment in Gaza, where he withdrew every soldier, settler and settlement, and pull back as an unsympathetic international community demands to the 1967 lines and let the Palestinians create whatever kind of lethal terrorist state they wanted in the West Bank and reap the bloody consequences of such folly. The second option is to accept the status quo and wait, as Israel has been for the last 50 years, for the Palestinians to come to their senses and negotiate an end to the conflict. That's the policy that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has followed until now as he tried to manage a conflict that cannot be solved, though doing so hasn't won him applause from his country's critics. The third option is for Israel to annex some, most or even all of the settlements by applying Israeli law in the territories as laid out in the Trump administration's peace plan unveiled earlier this year. For supporters of the settlements, the need to act now--while the most pro-Israel administration in history is still in office--is imperative. If Israel waits, a possible change in power in Washington next January will end a historical opportunity to put facts on the ground that, like every other achievement in Zionist history, will endure whether the Jewish state's foes like it or not. That's a prospect that is opposed by both those who still hold onto the failed "land for peace" formula in which the overwhelming majority of Israelis no longer believe because of Palestinian rejectionism and terror. This week, however, a significant conservative voice has been added to those urging caution on Israel's government. In a surprising op-ed published by The New York Times, Daniel Pipes, the president of the Middle East Forum, has laid out what he considers to be six good reasons for Israel to hold off on extending its law to the areas where settlements exist. Pipes is an eminent scholar and an important pro-Israel voice, so he cannot be accused of seeking to undermine or harm the Jewish state. But though his arguments should be taken seriously, they aren't persuasive. The first point Pipes makes is that annexation may infuriate President Donald Trump if it's is not done in the context of his "Peace to Prosperity" plan, which calls for such a step to be taken only as part of a negotiation in which a Palestinian state would be created. But as David Friedman, America's ambassador to Israel, has stated in a recent interview in Israel Hayom, Trump is on board with Netanyahu's plans, so there seems no chance of the presidential tantrum Pipes fears. Second, Pipes says that a move on the settlements will alienate and weaken the diminishing number of friends Israel has in the Democratic Party and Europe. There is some truth to this since both Democrats and Europeans are infuriated by the idea of Israel acting in such a way as to render even a theoretical two-state solution impossible. It's also true that Israel should do what it can to strengthen those Democrats and Europeans who remain supporters. But it's incorrect that implementing this aspect of the Trump plan will make a two-state deal impossible. Moreover, the idea that refraining from annexation will alter the anti-Israel drift on the left is a delusion. The Palestinians can have a state, but Trump's scheme is right to signal to them that it cannot mean a full Israeli retreat to the suicidal 1967 lines. Those who claim to be Israel's friends need to also acknowledge this truth. The third argument is that annexation will end the growing cooperation between Israel and Arab states that look to it as a tacit ally against Iran. Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Egypt may oppose annexation. But they didn't like Trump's recognition of Israeli sovereignty over Jerusalem and the Golan Heights either, and it didn't stop them from pursuing policies towards Israel that benefited them. The Arab world is no longer interested in enabling Palestinian intransigence, and measures that make it clear to the Palestinian Authority and Hamas that the cost of their refusal to negotiate for peace is going up isn't likely to cause the Arab states to stop dealing with Israel. Fourth, Pipes claims that annexation will infuriate the Palestinians and destabilize Jordan, the West Bank and Gaza, leading to carnage that will cost Israel dearly. However, the Palestinians have shown little appetite for another self-destructive intifada that would, as in the past, cost them far more than it would Israel. Moreover, the implementation of the Trump plan would, like the U.S. gesture on Jerusalem, not affect Palestinian lives much. And neither the P.A. nor Hamas want to risk losing everything they have to gain nothing in return. Fifth, Pipes says annexation will alienate the Israeli left, causing it to abandon Zionism and the country. The problem with this argument is that the Israeli left has been largely destroyed as a political force by Palestinian intransigence with few who believe in the idea that there is a viable partner for peace. The overwhelming majority of Israelis have rejected more concessions to the Palestinians until they are ready to make peace. The huge majority in the new Knesset in favor of annexation would have been unimaginable 20 years ago. Most Israelis remember the fatal consequences of Oslo and the Gaza withdrawal, and have drawn appropriate conclusions. Sixth, Pipes puts forth that extending sovereignty over the settlements will create more Arab citizens of Israel, thereby causing more demographic issues for the Jewish state. But the joint Israeli-American committees drawing up the maps for annexation are minimizing this problem. While one can argue that the borders they draw will be unmanageable, the plan will not create the problem he's worried about. The best argument for annexation is that it actually fits in with the clever theory of the conflict that Pipes and the MEF has championed in recent years. Anything that signals to the Palestinians that it's time for them to give up their fantasies of destroying the Jewish state and acknowledging its "victory" is a good idea. Rather than a "self-indulgence that will bolster the Palestinian cause," the move on the settlements will make it clear to the Palestinians that time is not on their side. Extending Israeli law into the settlements with the support of the United States tells Palestinians that their dreams of a return to the 1967 lines, like their fantasies about destroying Israel altogether, is never going to happen. Just as the warnings about Trump's Jerusalem move burning down the Middle East were false, so, too, are predictions of post-annexation doom. Friends of Israel need to reject Pipes's advice about joining with ill-intentioned Obama-administration alumni and BDS supporters to try to deter Israel from acting to assert its rights. Instead, they should do as the Trump administration appears to be doing--listening to the Israeli people and their elected representatives, and supporting their decisions. As The World Is Distracted By COVID-19, A Series Of Large Earthquakes Is Rocking "The Ring Of Fire" - by Michael Snyder - http://endoftheamericandream.com/archives/as-the-world-is-distracted-by-covid-19-a-series-of-large-earthquakes-is-rocking-the-ring-of-fire Within the past several days, large earthquakes have been striking all along the outer rim of the Pacific Ocean, and many are wondering if all of this activity could potentially be building up to something really big. Those that follow my work on a regular basis know that I have been deeply concerned about seismic activity on the west coast for a long time, and scientists assure us that it is just a matter of time before "the Big One" hits us. According to Wikipedia, approximately 81 percent of all large earthquakes take place along the Ring of Fire, and of course the west coast of North America accounts for a large stretch of it. As you can see from this map, the California and Alaska coastlines have been absolutely peppered by quakes in recent days, but nobody is really talking about these quakes because everyone is so focused on COVID-19 right now. Yes, this pandemic deserves our attention, but I would submit that all of the unusual shaking that has been happening certainly deserves our attention as well. You may not have heard about it yet, but a magnitude 4.5 earthquake rocked San Diego on Sunday afternoon... A 4.5 magnitude earthquake originating in Imperial County rocked San Diegans from East Village to Lakeside on Sunday afternoon, according to the United States Geological Survey. The quake struck at 3:07 p.m. in Imperial County about 10.5 miles southeast of Ocotillo Wells, according to the USGS. It had a depth of 10 kilometers or 6.2 miles. That is a rather large quake for that particular area, and it is just one of hundreds that have been hitting the region. In fact, CalTech says that there have been 1,227 earthquakes in California and Nevada over the last 7 days. Meanwhile, the section of the Ring of Fire that runs along the west coast of South America has also been getting hit pretty hard. A magnitude 5.4 quake struck northern Chile on Sunday, and that really shook a lot of people up. Subsequently, the portion of the Ring of Fire that runs along the coast of Japan was hit by a magnitude 5.8 earthquake very late on Sunday... The quake hit near the east coast of Honshu at 23.58 UTC on Sunday. The earthquake was reported to have a depth of 80km. It also hit 129km north east of Saitama and also 26km south east of Hitachi, according to emsc-csem. USGS tweeted: "Prelim M5.8 Earthquake near the east coast of Honshu, Japan May-10 23:58 UTC" And that unusual event in Japan was very quickly followed by a magnitude 5.6 earthquake in Indonesia. Of course Indonesia sits right along the Ring of Fire as well. There has been so much shaking in Indonesia recently, but most Americans never hear about it. Just a few days ago, Indonesia was hit by a magnitude 6.9 earthquake that was so powerful that it was actually felt in Australia... A powerful earthquake in Indonesia has been felt in the Northern Territory. Residents of Darwin reported online they had felt the shake, which registered as a magnitude-6.9 quake late on Wednesday evening. The tremor hit the Banda Sea, more than 600km north of Darwin, at a depth of 142km. So as you can see, there have been significant seismic events all over the Ring of Fire within the past several days. But it isn't just the Ring of Fire that has been shaking. Big earthquakes have been popping up in diverse places all over the globe, and the magnitude 5.1 quake that just hit Iran really surprised a lot of people... A 5.1 magnitude earthquake hit Iran shortly after midnight on Thursday night with its epicenter 34 miles east of the capital city Tehran. AFP reported that panicked residents rushed into the streets, abandoning buildings in fear they would collapse. Two people were killed and 55 injured in the earthquake. The earthquake was followed by eight more mild aftershocks. And weird earthquakes have been happening in the U.S. as well. Anyone that follows my work on a regular basis knows that in addition to the west coast I am always watching the New Madrid seismic zone very carefully. So when two unusual earthquakes hit southern Tennessee on Sunday morning, it definitely got my attention... Two earthquakes were reported back to back in southern Tennessee early Sunday morning, officials say. Both quakes happened about 4.3 miles southeast of Sewanee, which is near the Alabama border and about 52 miles from Chattanooga, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The first, a 3.1 magnitude, hit at 3:33 a.m. and the second, a 2.8 magnitude, hit at 3:34 a.m. Without a doubt, there is a whole lot of shaking going on right now. That does not necessarily mean that a major event of some sort is imminent, and we should certainly hope that the next major event can be put off for as long as possible. But as I keep warning, the crust of our planet is very unstable, and many have been warning that we should expect that instability to only get worse in the days ahead. Seismologists have warned us over and over that it is just a matter of time before "the Big One" absolutely devastates the west coast. They have told us that the San Andreas fault appears to be "locked and loaded" and that it could potentially "unzip all at once". And if that actually happens, seismologists have warned that the ground level could suddenly decline by up to 3 feet, and that could potentially result in vast portions of southern California suddenly being way below sea level. In other words, we are talking about the sort of disaster that most people don't even want to think about. Of course very few people ever imagined that a coronavirus pandemic would virtually shut down the entire country, and yet here we are. We live in very strange times, and I have a feeling that they will soon get a whole lot stranger... Prophecy of Rain in Current Jewish Month as Sign of Healing: Vindicated with Deathless Sabbath - By Adam Eliyahu Berkowitz - www.breakingisraelnews.com I will grant your rains in their season, so that the earth shall yield its produce and the trees of the field their fruit. Leviticus 26:4 (The Israel Bible™) Israel typically experiences a pronounced rainy season with very little rain falling after Passover but last week, the country was drenched with not one but two powerful rainstorms. As unusual as this was, Jewish tradition teaches that just such a meteorological phenomenon comes to heal the world from diseases that have no cure. RAIN After a five year drought, Israel was blessed this year with prayers for rain being answered, exceeding the annual average by 105% and up to 120% in some regions.The Kinneret (Sea of Gallilee) now stands at 209.61 meters below sea level and less than a meter below full capacity. After a long stretch of seasonally warm and sunny weather, Israel was hit by countrywide rain last Tuesday. Not only was the rainfall quite heavy, adding another centimeter of water to an already full Kinneret, but it was accompanied by hundreds of lightning strikes. The desert surrounding the southern city of Arad was coated in hail. As if that were not enough, more rain fell in northern Israel on Shabbat, filling streams that flowed into the Kinneret. Normally a tourist magnet, the stormy weather aided social distancing by keeping the crowds away from the beaches. RAIN AFTER PASSOVER: BLESSING OR CURSE? Water can be the source of great blessing, but at the wrong times, too much or too little water can also be a curse. This concept of rain falling in the proper season is so strong as to be referred to by the Prophet Ezekiel. I will make these and the environs of My hill a blessing: I will send down the rain in its season, rains that bring blessing. Ezekiel 34:26 The first day of Passover signals the end of the winter rainy season so the thrice-daily prayers are adjusted to reflect this by removing the request for rain and replacing it with a prayerful request for dew. This is done on the first day of the holiday in the hopes that the holiday itself will be free of rain since rain spoils the enjoyment of the Temple celebrations. As the land of Israel is central to Judaism, Jewish prayer reflects this by making the prayers reflect the passage of the seasons in Israel. The time after Passover is the time for the grain harvest and rain will cause the sheaves of grain lying in the field to rot. Though normally the weather can be expected to be sunny and dry until the holiday of Sukkoth when the next rainy season begins, there are, of course, occasional exceptional days when unseasonal rains fall. Jewish tradition (Mishnah: Ta'anis 12b) teaches that rains that fall at the end of the month of Nissan after Passover are considered to be a bad sign for the world and are, in fact, a curse. But rains that fall in the next month, Iyar, do not follow this rule. Rabbi Avraham Yehoshua Heshel, an 18th Century Hasidic leader from Apt in Russia, certainly felt so, teaching that rains in the month of Iyar had a 'segula' (benevolent influence). "Rain that falls in the month of Iyar bring great healing to the world for every ill that has no cure anywhere," Rabbi Heshel wrote in his book Oheiv Yisrael. Rabbi Pinchas Shapiro of Koretz, a Polish-Lithuanian Hasidic leader who was a contemporary of Rabbi Heshel, taught that the benevolent influence of Iyar rain could be accessed by standing bareheaded outside in the rain. He also recommended opening the mouth and drinking the rainwater. DID IT WORK? NO CORONAVIRUS DEATHS Whether due to the healing rains of Iyar or to social distancing, Israel on Saturday morning reported no new deaths over the past day, the first 24-hour period since March 28 in which no new fatalities were recorded. It also marked one week since there were more than 100 new cases in any one day. The segula did not last as the death toll rose by two in the evening to 247. Rabbi Yosef Berger, the rabbi of King David's Tomb on Mount Zion, was unequivocal about the efficacy of the rain. "Rains in this month are clearly having their effect," Rabbi Berger said. "Not only was the rainy season a sign of blessing but having a double blessing of even more rain after the normal season in the month of Iyar is clearly being directed from above. To have this coincide with the time when the coronavirus is beginning to recede is not just a coincidence." PROPHESIED DOUBLE SEASON OF RAIN Though rain out of season may not be desirable, the Yerushalmi Talmud (Taanit parek aleph, halacha chet) teaches that as long as there was enough rain during the winter, rains after Pesach are an additional blessing. This double-dose of rain is hinted at by the Prophet Jeremiah. They have not said to themselves, "Let us revere Hashem our God, Who gives the rain, The early and late rain in season, Who keeps for our benefit The weeks appointed for harvest."Jeremiah 5:24 In fact, the rains in Israel are not entirely set in their seasons and, according to the the Bible, are affected by the actions of the Jews. If you follow My laws and faithfully observe My commandments, I will grant your rains in their season, so that the earth shall yield its produce and the trees of the field their fruit. Leviticus 26:4 Daily Jot: The injustice against Ahmaud Arbery - Bill Wilson - www.dailyjot.com I have watched repeatedly the videos where Travis McMichael and his father Gregory McMichael hunted down and killed Ahmaud Arbery, a black man, in a Glynn County, GA, neighborhood on February 23. Thursday-45 days after this horrible act-the Georgia Bureau of Investigation arrested and charged them with felony murder and aggravated assault-but only after a video surfaced in the public that confirmed in graphic detail this brutal killing. On April 2, after accusations by Arbery's mother of bias and nepotism within the District Attorney's office and the police department, Waycross District Attorney George Barnhill recused himself-But not before he wrote extensively that there were no grounds for any arrest. The police report states that the McMichael's tried to stop Arbery for questioning upon suspicion of robbing a home construction site. Arbery reversed direction and continued jogging. The McMichael's pulled beside Arbery and "shouted 'stop, stop, we want to talk to you'." Then they pulled past Arbery, stopped the truck and Travis McMichael got out of the truck armed with a shotgun. Gregory McMichael was in the back of the truck bed armed with a .357 Magnum handgun. A struggle ensued when Arbery "began to violently attack Travis." The police report never concludes whether Arbery was armed. He was not. The video shows when Arbery ran past the right side of the stopped truck, the truck blocks the view of what happened next, then the two men emerge around the left side of the truck struggling with the shotgun. District Attorney Barnhill's memo says that the McMichael's and "Bryan William" were following in 'hot pursuit' of a burglary suspect, with solid first hand probable cause," continuing that "Under Georgia Law this is perfectly legal." Barnhill then goes into a lengthy dissertation about how the "video made by William Bryan clearly shows the shooting in real time," where Arbery attacked Travis McMichael and during the struggle over the shotgun, Arbery was shot three times, concluding that "at the point Arbery grabbed the shotgun, under Georgia Law, McMichael was allowed to use deadly force to protect himself." Barnhill said there was "insufficient probable cause to issue a warrant arrest at this time." No one deserves the death penalty for suspected burglary. NO ONE. The McMichael's should have called the police and let them handle the complaint. This is outrageous behavior to hunt someone down and kill them over mere suspicions. After Arbery collapsed on the road, Travis McMichael turned his back on him and strutted away with the shotgun in his hand, not even looking back to check on Arbery's condition. This sends a message to every black family in America that our country's neighborhoods are not safe for them to jog or walk. Moreover, vigilante justice is a threat to every American, especially when it is upheld by those entrusted by the people as keepers of the justice system. We all, irrespective of race, religion, or ethnicity, should be furious. It is not only that a man was hunted down and killed for mere suspicion of burglary, but also the systemic and institutionalized bias of those in the legal system that concludes in a lack of probable cause for an arrest. What if this happened to your son? As in Isaiah 59:14 says, "And judgment is turned away backward, and justice stands afar off: for truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter." Christ said in Matthew 24:12, "And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold." The unjust is an abomination to the just. As a Christian man, I want to go on record that I deplore this injustice in the strongest possible terms. I placed a rather complicated order and couldn't help but notice how well the employee handled it all. Then she said, "Oh, you're Greg Laurie!" As we talked a little, I found out she was a Christian. Then I understood even more why she was so cheerful and polite. I asked her if she liked her job. "I love my job," she said. I thought, "That's how we all should be." Whatever you're doing, whether you're working at a fast-food restaurant, serving in church, or working in healthcare, serve well. Here's the mark of a person whom God has called to serve: they recognize a need and then jump in and do something about it. On the other hand, I think some people have the gift of complaining. They just seem content with finding fault-all the things the church is doing wrong in their estimation. But people with the gift of serving see a need and then meet that need because they want to help out. Has God given you this spiritual gift? What a wonderful gift it is. So, if you're checking on your neighbors and praying for them, that is great, and if you're picking up the groceries for them, that is great too. Because whatever you're doing to serve, it matters. The Bible says, "Do not neglect the spiritual gift you received" (1 Timothy 4:14 NLT). Or, as The Message puts it, "Keep that dusted off and in use." Be faithful in the little things, and God will open up greater opportunities for you. Because, as Warren Wiersbe has said, "You can never be too small for God to use, only too big."
