The Coming New World Order
- By Pastor Mike Taylor - http://pastormiketaylor.blogspot.com/ v. 4 "And they said, "Come, let us build ourselves a city, and a tower whose top is in the heavens; let us make a name for ourselves, lest we be scattered abroad over the face of the whole earth." v. 5 But the LORD came down to see the city and the tower which the sons of men had built. v. 6, And the LORD said, "Indeed the people are one and they all have one language, and this is what they begin to do; now nothing that they propose to do will be withheld from them." (Genesis 11:4-6) In another day and age, there was a demonic dream by a dictator to rule the world. His name was Nimrod and he gathered all the people of the earth on the plain of Shinar to build a tower to reach to heaven. This was after the Noahic flood and man thought they could build a tower higher than any flood and if God brought another one, they would have a tower above the waters. They failed to remember that God said He would not send another flood and put a rainbow in the sky as a promise never to do likewise. 9:11 Thus I establish My covenant with you: Never again shall all flesh be cut off by the waters of the flood; never again shall there be a flood to destroy the earth." (Genesis 9:11) But that really wasn't the real intention of the people during this time. The tower was an affront to God and His command to disperse and repopulate the earth. This was another era that men wanted to stay as one people and with one language and to disobey God's command. And to become a God unto themselves and worship themselves and their dictator who ruled them. Multiculturalism and Globalization Fast forward to this generation and the two words that men are promoting, just as Nimrod promoted in this ancient time period is a one world government and a one world religion. Globalization means the destruction of any nation/state that make any author of globalization traitors to the nation of their birth. These individuals have sold their allegiance to foreign powers to absorb their country in a pipe dream, much as Nimrod did in the tower of Babel. Take the United States for example, we have nothing in common with African nations such as Kenya or Somalia, save they are nations on opposite sides of the planet. But according to the United Nations Globalization Plan, a vote from Washington DC would carry no more weight in decisions affecting foreign policy that a warlord in Africa, whoever the warlord happens to be at any given moment. In the UN's misguided vision, to promote "good will toward men" wishes that nations in Africa enjoys the same living standard, say of my home state of Missouri, even if means lowering the living standards of Missouri to be equal to the living standards of Kenya or any other African nation. Both will live in squalor. It will steal from the rich and give to the poor, or so they say. 'Multiculturalism' means having no individual national culture at all. The UN's vision of multiculturalism demands a common language (other than English, the language of the hated West) something along the lines of Esperanto, a nonsense language made up by globalists so that the whole world can be confused at the same time. THE U.N. NEFARIOUS SCHEME In the U.N.'s plan on globalization to promote a One World government, they are using the words "globalization and multiculturalism" to disguise a plan to destroy the Western Nations of the world and become the New World Order on the scale of what was envisioned back in the time of Nimrod and the Tower of Babel. If you have studied the effects of Agenda 21 that has morphed into Sustainable Development and Agenda 2030 proposed by this international body of misfits, it is designed for all people and nations to become one with a common language and claims of a utopian society, but in reality it is designed to control every human being on this planet in their buying and selling, their movements, and even their reproduction rates to a "sustainable level" to guard the environment and save the planet. What does that mean? It means genocide of all non essential individuals that do not contribute to the well being of the collective society. Meaning the old, the disabled, the mentally challenged, and the inferior races. It is the plan of the Third Reich of Hitler on steroids. History has a habit of repeating itself, and according to the Bible, the city of Babel on the plains of Shinar was both globalized and was multicultural, in that everybody followed the same leader (can you say Anti-Christ?) and shared the same culture. (Can you say "Mark of the Beast") In Genesis chapter 11, gives us a glimpse of both who is behind this globalization/multiculturalism and what its purpose really is. First, Scripture tells us, "And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech." It is worthy of note that in the EU's early days, its promotional literature outlined its early goal of 'reversing the Babel Effect.' This seems ironic, but fascinating as the EU is officially a godless state, but on the other hand, its promotional literature openly mirrors the Bible's story in both its application and its intent. By application, the residents of Babel, under the sole dictatorship of Nimrod, attempted to circumvent God's judgment by building a tower 'whose top may reach to heaven' as a refuge -- should God again judge the world by flood. "And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do." (Genesis 11:6) God was hardly afraid that mankind would challenge His Authority. Rather, He knew they would try and what the solution to such a rebellion would result in. It will result in the whole world being under the sway of the coming Anti-Christ dictatorship. Nimrod and by extension, the Anti-Christ attempts to stand in place of God and the "protector" of the human race. Both men of history of mankind, past and future, want to take the place of God, demanding worship as if they were God. This is the rebellion that God was aware that would happen, if left unchecked. God intervened by His will, in the historical example of the tower of Babel and confused the languages of those who were in rebellion to His command to scatter and repopulate the earth, and were making themselves a god, in Almighty God's place. But God doesn't intervene in the Tribulation period to save mankind from himself, the way He did at Babel. At the tower of Babel in Nimrod's time, Jesus had not been crucified on the cross for a choice between good and evil, in shedding His own blood for the payment of mankind's sin. Today, the cross and its provision of forgiveness of sin by mercy and grace is in place, and God will allow men to reverse the "Babel effect" and let human nature run its course. The end result will be the same as it would have been at Babel, had God not intervened early and human history would have been cut short on the plains of Shinar. Having allowed mankind one last, unimpeded effort at rebellion against His Authority, the Bible says that during the Tribulation the armies of the world will gather for a final battle on the plains of Megiddo during which they will turn their weapons of war against the Creator of the Universe Himself. "And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon Him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He doth judge and make war. . . . And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him that sat on the horse, and against His army. . . . And the remnant were slain with the sword of Him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of His Mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh." (Revelation 19:11,19,21) What does reversing the Babel Effect mean? The depravity of mankind virtually SCREAMS "rebellion" while the biblical imagery makes it clear that it is deliberate, it is calculated and it is directed against the God of the Bible. I have people who argue about the coming tribulation and the end of the age, but if what is coming upon the earth is not clear to them and what end time prophecy is addressed to , no amount of logical or scripture persuasion will convince the reprobate mind to understand what God is saying is coming upon the earth. We have signs and seasons and the clear words found in your Bible, that indeed we are living in end of the age of mankind's rule upon this earth. I call it "willful ignorance" that is a willful and deliberate choice NOT to believe the truth to avoid the conflict of conscience that accepting the truth would demand. If you go to any Christian forum, you will find many debaters that infiltrate the discussion and try to seize on any inconsistency in the scriptural proof found in God's Word. There is no inconsistency, but in their own minds, to confirm their chosen perspective of self denial and go away comfortable in their unbelief. If anyone of us look closely at our environment, either politically, physically and most assuredly spiritually, we can see an evil taking over the affairs of this world and its population of earth dwellers. It is the phenomenon described by the Apostle Paul which comes to fruition following the Rapture, but we can already see it coming together in its final form on this side of the Tribulation Period. 6 "And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. 7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. 8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: 9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, 10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved." (2nd Thessalonians 2:6-10) The Anti-Christ is coming and he is standing just off the stage of this world and it not in the spotlight, just yet. But Paul writes when this final "Nimrod" sets up his kingdom of this coming New World Order, he will have the enthusiastic cooperation of the whole world who are ignorant of the dangers of globalization and multiculturalism, blissfully unaware of the demonic deception foisted upon them. 11 "And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness." (2nd Thessalonians 2:11-12) The mystery of iniquity is already at work, and so is the BIG LIE. But still there are scoffers, just as the Apostle Peter wrote about: "Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of His coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation." (2nd Peter 3:4) Peter makes it plain that the reason for their unbelief is a willing ignorance born out of their lust for the things of the world and their choice NOT to believe, no matter how strong the evidence. Peter cites the historical precedent that, several generations later, led to Nimrod's aborted Tower of Babel in the first place, bringing this generation's effort to undo the Babel Effect full circle: "For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished." (2nd Peter 3:6) THE NEW WORLD ORDER IS ON THE HORIZON I find is amazing and it has to be God's timing, that this lurch forward to the New World Order has been put on hold. Note the news that our current POTUS has pulled the USA from the Paris accord that the last POTUS, I call the "idiot in chief" got us into. Climate change is a bizarre attempt to take the bogus claim of man made climate change and turn it into a NEW WORLD ORDER called Sustainable Development, with all nations being equal and the destruction of the western way of life, that the world is jealous of and desires our downfall. OH, it will come, but we pray we have been given a reprieve, for a time, from the evil desires of One World Government proponents that are headed by the richest and most powerful individuals in the world. Some call them Illuminati, or Bilderberg Groups that have a globalist visions of grandeur to their demonic plans for the world's utopian society. When will it come? I make a prediction, and it's set in stone. THE RISE OF THE ANTI-CHRIST In Revelation, we see in the throne of God, a scroll handed to the Lamb of God, who opens each seal. Thus begins the wrath of Almighty God upon the earth. "And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see. 2 And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer." (Revelation 6:1-2) In the following verses, each horse of the four horseman of the apocalypse rides bringing destruction upon the earth. This is the Wrath of God. Some will in error, postulate that this is the doing of Satan and it is his wrath upon the earth. But note who is opening the seals of the scroll? It is the Lamb of God, Jesus the Christ, who makes these events happen. He uses each of these horses riders to enact judgment upon this rebellious earth, much as He used men to bring Israel to judgment by using Assyria and Babylon to bring justice to those who have forsaken Him. God will use Satan and the evil intent of men's heart to begin His act of judgment and wrath upon the earth. As chapter 6 unfolds, the men of the earth know who is bringing judgment upon them. 15 "And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; 16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: 17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?" (Revelation 6:15-17) There is NO question in their minds, who is responsible for this destruction. God's wrath has begun and as the chapter continue the judgment only gets worse by each chapter. This New World Order is going to be judged and those who follow the modern "NIMROD" the Anti-Christ will be found doomed in their rebellion. Two things will happen in this coming horror that comes upon the earth. -Israel will be refined as silver is refined in the furnace. (Malachi 3:3) -all rebellion upon this earth will be extinguished. "Behold, the whirlwind of the Lord goes forth with fury, a continuing whirlwind; it will fall violently on the head of the wicked. The fierce anger of the Lord will not return until He has done it, and until He has performed the intents of His heart. In the latter days you will consider it." (Jeremiah 30:23-24) 19 "And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God. 20 And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlong" (Revelation 14:19-20) Can you imagine this amount of blood that covers the whole valley of Megiddo for 25 miles or so, as deep as the bridle of a horse?? That's called righteous indignation, and total slaughter of those in rebellion. This is the final judgement on this demonic "New World Order" when God will pass His fiery indignation upon those who have followed this new Nimrod, the Anti-Christ. 9 "And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, 10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: 11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name."(Revelation 14:9-11) A LIFE LINE IS THROWN TO US IN THIS AGE OF GRACE Make no mistake, what I have written and confirmed from the pages of God's Word will definitely come to pass. This world will be judged. This NEW WORLD ORDER will be decimated and those who follow this modern Nimrod, this last dictator of the world. He that demands worship of himself. Those that do will be thrown alive into the Lake of Fire burning with sulfur and brimstone. From this judgment there is no escape, forever and ever. Those who pass from this Age of Grace, while the Holy Spirit is still convicting men of their sins, into the Age of the Law, the time of Jacob's trouble, known as the Tribulation, and then the Great Tribulation will have their metal tested like they have been tested before. In all likelihood, many will succumb to staying alive for even a short while, and worship this demonic despot to their own destruction. Those who don't will be martyrs for the cause of Christ, by not taking the "mark of the Beast". How can I give you the vision of what a horrible, devastating time this period will be to all human beings alive that are so unfortunate to have to endure such a time that Jesus said : "21, For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. 22, And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened." (Matthew 24:21-22) I can only paint you a word picture, but the reality of this time will be 1000 times worse than I can explain. But there is a lifeline that is still in force right now, as this very moment: "15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God." (John 3:15-18) "9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." (Romans 10:9) "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. " (John 14:6) Who is the Way, the Truth and the Life? Jesus is the man/God who died on a cross for you, and for me, so that we would not have to experience this coming time of extreme death and suffering. Repent of your sins and ask Jesus to come into your heart and life, and make Him Lord with what life we have left upon this earth. Make your decision for Jesus Christ, or be ready for the destruction that will be found in the NEW WORLD ORDER. TILL WE MEET AT JESUS FEET Can We Know When Jesus Will Return? - By Britt Gillette - http://www.raptureready.com/2017/06/18/can-we-know-when-jesus-will-return/ Can we know when Jesus will return? No. When it comes to the exact timing of His return, we can't know. Jesus Himself said "no man knows the day or the hour of my return, not even myself. Only my Father in heaven knows" (Mark 13:32). Jesus reiterated this concept when He said He would come like a thief in the night "when least expected" (Matthew 24:43-44). This idea, coupled with the statement "no one can know the day or the hour" of His return, has led many Christians to believe they can't know anything about the timing of His return. After all, if Jesus comes like a thief in the night when least expected, how could you know when He's coming? That's a good question. And while it's true we can't know the day or the hour, the idea no one has a clue as to whether it's tomorrow or a 1,000 years from now is just plain wrong. The Bible is clear we can know the general "season" of His return. Like a Thief in the Night Many people who believe we can't know anything about the timing of Christ's return base their belief on the idea Jesus "will come like a thief in the night." Jesus did say He would come unexpectedly, like a thief in the night (Matthew 24:43-44). And Paul said the same thing (1 Thessalonians 5:2). But if you read the rest of Paul's letter to the Thessalonians, you'll see he said something else as well. Paul said those of us who live in the light will not be surprised. While Jesus will come like a thief in the night when least expected, those who know God's Word will not be surprised. Here's the full context of that passage (emphasis mine): "But you aren't in the dark about these things, dear brothers and sisters, and you won't be surprised when the day of the Lord comes like a thief. For you are all children of the light and of the day; we don't belong to darkness and night. So be on your guard, not asleep like the others. Stay alert and be clearheaded. Night is the time when people sleep and drinkers get drunk. But let us who live in the light be clearheaded, protected by the armor of faith and love, and wearing as our helmet the confidence of our salvation." (1 Thessalonians 5:4-8 NLT) How can this be? If Jesus comes unexpectedly like a thief in the night, how is it Christians are not surprised? It's because we know to expect Jesus at any moment, and we obey His command to be alert and ready at all times. We also know the Second Coming of Jesus Christ to establish His Millennial Kingdom comes with many signs. Why Would God Mention Signs? If we can't know anything about the timing of the Second Coming, then why did Jesus tell us to look for signs? When His disciples asked Him to describe the signs of His return, He told them. He didn't rebuke them. He didn't tell them to forget about such things. Instead, He described the signs. Why would Jesus say to look for signs if they don't exist? Why would He mention them if we can't know when He's coming? The answer is clear. We can know the general time frame of His return. We can't know the day or the hour, but we can know the season. Numerous signs precede the Second Coming. Jesus and the prophets told us what those signs are. And Jesus said when you see them, you'll know He's near - right at the door (Matthew 24:33). We see those signs today. So we can know with certainty Jesus is coming soon. A Command to Watch Jesus also commanded us to "Watch!" (Matthew 25:13) This begs the question. Watch for what? Over and over again, Jesus says, "Watch! Don't let me find you asleep when I come back without warning" (Mark 13:35-37). This is a clear command. But what does it mean? Jesus is telling us to be spiritually alert. If we live a life of faithful service to Him, the day of His return won't catch us like a trap. Jesus says a faithful servant lives life expecting His return at any moment (Luke 12:35-38). But Jesus is also telling us to watch for signs of the Second Coming. After all, if there are no signs, what are we supposed to "watching" for? Again, it's clear. Signs will precede the Second Coming. And Jesus expects us to recognize those signs. If He didn't, why would He command us to watch? He wouldn't, because we would have nothing to look for. We're supposed to be watching for the signs. And Jesus says those who are ready and waiting when He returns will be rewarded (Luke 12:37). Recognizing the Signs In reference to His first coming, Jesus told the Pharisees, "You can recognize the signs in the sky and know what type of weather is coming, yet you don't know how to recognize the signs of the times" (Matthew 16:3). The prophets had written extensively about the coming of the Messiah. The Pharisees knew when the Messiah was supposed to come. They knew the Messiah would perform many miracles. Jesus fulfilled these prophecies right before their eyes. Yet the Pharisees still didn't recognize who He was. Just as He did with the Pharisees, Jesus expects us to recognize the signs of His Second Coming. He told us what signs to look for. And the same prophets who wrote about His First Coming also wrote about His Second Coming. Like the Pharisees, we're expected to recognize "the signs of the times." Those signs tell us the Second Coming is drawing near. Conclusion While we can't know the day or the hour of His return, we can know the general season. The Bible tells us what signs to look for. And Jesus Himself said when you see all these signs come together, you know His return is near (Luke 21:28). Today, we see those signs. Israel is once again a nation (Isaiah 11:11-12). The Jewish people are back in Jerusalem (Luke 21:24). And the gospel is being spread to the ends of the earth (Matthew 24:14). These and other signs are out in the open for everyone to see. You can't miss them. For 1,800+ years of Christianity, these signs didn't exist. Today, they do. God said He will hold us accountable for letting others know about the signs (Ezekiel 33:1-6). We're expected to point out these signs to others. We're expected to tell others Jesus is returning soon. If the world ignores us, so be it. But if anyone tells you we can't know the timing of His return, tell them what the Bible says. The truth is we can know the general season of His return. And given all the signs we see today, we can be certain we're living in it. The time is near. Jesus is coming soon! Is Syria Boiling Over? - Bob Eschliman - http://www.charismanews.com/politics/issues/65641-is-syria-boiling-over The Syrian civil war is once again threatening to engulf the entire Middle East in a war between the U.S. and Russia. According to the coalition command of Operation Inherent Resolve: At approximately 4:30 p.m. Syria time, June 18, Pro-Syrian regime forces attacked the Syrian Democratic Forces-held town of Ja'Din, South of Tabqah, wounding a number of SDF fighters and driving the SDF from the town. Coalition aircraft conducted a show of force and stopped the initial pro-regime advance toward the SDF-controlled town. Following the Pro-Syrian forces attack, the Coalition contacted its Russian counterparts by telephone via an established "de-confliction line" to de-escalate the situation and stop the firing. At 6:43 p.m., a Syrian regime SU-22 dropped bombs near SDF fighters south of Tabqah and, in accordance with rules of engagement and in collective self-defense of Coalition partnered forces, was immediately shot down by a U.S. F/A-18E Super Hornet. Ja'Din sits approximately two kilometers north of an established East-West SDF-Syrian Regime de-confliction area. The Coalition's mission is to defeat ISIS in Iraq and Syria. The Coalition does not seek to fight Syrian regime Russian, or pro-regime forces partnered with them, but will not hesitate to defend Coalition or partner forces from any threat. The Coalition presence in Syria addresses the imminent threat ISIS in Syria poses globally. The demonstrated hostile intent and actions of pro-regime forces toward Coalition and partner forces in Syria conducting legitimate counter-ISIS operations will not be tolerated. The Coalition calls on all parties to focus their efforts on the defeat of ISIS, which is our common enemy and the greatest threat to regional and worldwide peace and security. The Russian Defense Ministry is disputing the claim that coalition forces used the de-escalation hotline, and called the incident a violation of international law. In a statement sent out via its Russian-language outlets, but not on its English-language website, the ministry said it was shutting down the hotline and threatened to shoot down any aircraft in Syrian airspace not allied with Bashar al-Assad's regime. The matter has not yet been discussed by the United Nations Security Council, but it's very likely it will meet Monday, setting the stage for yet another tense exchange between the U.S. and Russian ambassadors. Syria has been a matter of major contention between the two nations throughout President Donald Trump's presidency. There are real dangers of war breaking out in this situation, and we should be praying over it intensely. Islamic State Supporters Celebrate Jerusalem Attack: 'Allah Will Give Us The Heads Of The Jews' - by Aaron Klein and Ali Waked - http://www.breitbart.com Despite skepticism from both Israel's security establishment and Palestinian organizations regarding the claim that the Islamic State terrorist group was behind the deadly Jerusalem attack Friday night, IS members and supporters celebrated the attack in an internal Telegram chat and threatened that more would be coming. Breitbart Jerusalem obtained access to correspondence posted in the closed chat group that utilizes the encrypted Telegram messaging service. The group serves as an internal Twitter of sorts for IS jihadists and sympathizers, and has been used in the past to issue IS communications. Three Palestinian terrorists attacked Israeli officers and passersby with knives and automatic rifle fire near Jerusalem's Damascus Gate on Friday, killing a 23-year-old policewoman and wounding two others before Israeli security personnel killed all three. Palestinian media reported that two of the assailants were members of the People's Front for the Liberation of Palestine, a nationalist Marxist group and partner in the PLO, and that the third was a member of Hamas. But on Saturday morning the Aamaq news agency, which operates under the auspices of the Islamic State group, published a statement in which the organization claimed responsibility for the attack in Jerusalem. The group even released the organization's names for the attackers it claims came from within its ranks: Abou Albaraa Almaqdesi, Abou Hasan Almaqdesi and Abou Rabah Almaqdesi. IS also threatened in its statement that, "The Jews should expect their country to be wiped out by the soldiers of the Caliphate." IS's official claim of responsibility moved its members and supporters on Telegram to celebrate the attack and threaten more. IS member Abi Ayman Alordani (the Jordanian) wrote, "May you be blessed, strengthened and may Allah promote your rank, you soldiers of the Caliphate who shook the enemies of Allah in every place. "Allah will reward you as long as you strike from Tehran to Jerusalem, in Europe, America and the Philippines and with the help of Allah you will open the gates of Rome crying Allah is great. Allah will bless the grave of our mujahedeen brothers in the holy land who committed a suicide attack in the heart of occupied Jerusalem." IS member Omar Almaqdesi wrote, "The threats and promises aren't in words, but in action. Not so long ago, our Caliph, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, threatened the Jews with a war the likes of which they've never seen and today the soldiers of the Caliphate are marching the path he promised and shaking the enemy in the heart of Jerusalem. "Like our brothers always say - we are what you see, not only what you hear. Today, we are striking in Jerusalem as we struck in Tehran. The lying factions called national factions tell lies about our mujahedeen brothers, but they know well that they are lying. The Muslims in Palestine will see what their brothers will do for the Caliphate." Abi Huzaifa Alraqawi wrote, "Allah blessed the soldiers of the Caliphate as they attack the enemies of Allah. They left as they fasted, thanked Allah, certain of his victory and shook the cradle of the infidels. Palestine is part of the land of the Caliphate. This is a promise from Allah. "Allah will give the Mujahedeen the heads of the Jews. Our brothers went forth with the evening prayer to attack the enemies of Allah and struck them. With the help of Allah and as our brothers said, this will not be the last act and the Jews should expect more attacks with the help of Allah." IS member Jund Abi Baqer ("the soldier of Abu Bakr") wrote, "They said we are the agents of the Jews and Iran, that we are the creation of America, the West and Russia. Today we give our answer. We have not left one place without striking it. We will strike the enemies of Allah with an iron fist. There is no place for Jews, Christians, Shi'ites and Muslims ... and all those who support them. "Everyone will lose and Islam will win. This is the promise of Allah to the faithful and the mujahedeen who implement his sharia over the land. Wait, for we are waiting with you. We attacked in Jerusalem, Tehran, Russia, Europe, America and other places. You will die of grief, enemies of Allah." Nearing Midnight: Conditional Security and Rapture - Terry James - http://www.raptureready.com/category/nearing-midnight/ Truth about what God promises those who are "saved" continues to be mistaught and misunderstood. Nothing is more important to lost humanity than truth regarding the disposition of the soul in relationship to Jesus Christ and to God the Father. Religionists of the world teach a variety of pathways through life. These propagate many false teachings about how to attain their various ideas of life after death. Most such ministers advocate conducting one's life in a way that displays good works. A social gospel of works is perhaps the most common thread found throughout this sort of religiosity. Good works, however, like is said of beauty, are in the eye of the beholder. Good works are one thing to someone who is a Hari Krishna devotee. Good works mean something quite different to a follower of Allah who holds strictly to Sharia Law. One might hold out flowers to another person in his or her version of peace and love in an attempt to evangelize. The other too often whips out a scimitar and threatens decapitation if the one being witnessed to doesn't bow the knee to Allah. Point is, each effort to make new converts is, in that religion's view, considered "good works." But it is the erroneous teaching on the topic of salvation within Christianity that is the most problematic to the true believer in Christ's death, burial, and resurrection, as I see it. Most of God's children-those who are truly saved-can recognize the cults and isms of the world's religions as false. Christians who fail to study and pray over the Holy Scripture, however, are, sadly, all too often easily misled about doctrinal truth found in the Bible. Even otherwise solid teachers of biblical truth are sometimes egregiously wrong when teaching on salvation and the security of the believer. Again: Nothing is more important than our soul's relationship to Jesus Christ and to God the Father. While one who teaches conditional security of the believer isn't necessarily in the same classification as the false religionists of the world who preach and teach "another gospel" than Jesus Christ and Him crucified, their error is very serious. Theirs is serious error because it, like the false religions of the world, holds up works as necessary for salvation. They teach that believers, after accepting Christ, as given in Romans 10: 9-10, must then work to maintain their salvation. They must live holy lives throughout their remaining time in this flesh. They must, through their own devices-assisted by constantly being filled with the Holy Spirit or Holy Ghost-hold on to the salvation or else risk losing it. Thus their salvation-in this system of teaching-is conditional upon the work of the believer. Living a life of being holy and of being filled with the Holy Spirit is, of course, ideal. We must all aspire to live such a life as Christians. But, we all sin, and we are told in 1 John 1:6-8 that if we say we don't sin we are liars. The truth is not in us. We certainly should constantly repent of wrong in order to be cleansed of all unrighteousness, we are told in 1 John 1:9. But nowhere in Scripture are we told that, once saved, we can lose our salvation through sin and then be reborn again. Rapture Not Conditional Like in the matter of salvation, the believer is unconditionally secure, in that he or she will go to be with Christ in the Rapture. This is true no matter the Christian's walk with the Lord at the time of that great event. Some years ago, I wrote the following in this regard. Going to Christ when He calls as Paul outlines in 1 Corinthians 15:51-55 and 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, and given by John in Revelation 4:1-2, is a salvation matter. We know that from the overall gospel message and from the total context of God's dealing with His family. Remember when Jesus prayed that beautiful prayer to His Father, as the Lord faced the cross (John 17)? Read it again, and you will see that it is absolutely clear that born-again believers are forever secure in the Father's hand, based upon what Jesus did on the cross. We know with absolute certainty that we are once and forever in God's family because of the words of the One who created all that exists: "My Father, which gave [them] me, is greater than all; and no [man] is able to pluck [them] out of my Father's hand" (John 10:29). Paul confirms that the Rapture is a salvation matter as follows: "For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him. Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do" (1 Thessalonians 5:9-11). The Rapture will be Christ keeping us from the hour of temptation or Tribulation (read Revelation 3:10). The Tribulation is the time of God's wrath-to which Paul tells us we are "not appointed." However, there are many who insist that Christians who haven't properly confessed their sins will go through that time of God's wrath (and the entire seven years of the Tribulation will be God's judgment and wrath). These use the following verse to make their case: "Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man" (Luke 21:36). The key word they hold forth as relevant here is the word "worthy." Does this word not mean that we as born-again believers must be good enough to stand before Jesus in that raptured throng? Does this word not mean, therefore, that if we fail to live up to God's standards while on this Earth, we will (at some point in God's holy view of what it takes to fall from being Rapture ready) lose our ticket in that translation moment, thus not be taken when the shout is heard, "Come up hither!"? Like in examining the issue of salvation itself, we now look at the word "worthy." What does it mean to be "worthy," as given in this Rapture example? Again, the answer is wrapped up in the same name as before: "Jesus." Jesus is the only person "worthy," in God's holy eyes, to be in the heavenly realm. Remember what Jesus said to a man who addressed Him as "Good Master"? "And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? none is good, save one, that is, God" (Luke 18:18). Jesus, the second Person of the Godhead, was not seeking to chastise the man for addressing Him in this way. The Lord was confirming through this question that He is indeed God, the only good, the only righteousness. Righteousness is the only ticket to Heaven-either through the portal of death, or through the Rapture. Only through Jesus-being born again into God's family through belief in Him-can a person enter the heavenly realm. Jesus spoke to this all-important matter by addressing Nicodemus: "Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God" (John 3:3). God's Word says about fallen mankind: "As it is written, There is none righteous no not one" (Romans 8:10) and, "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23). So, Jesus is the only person "worthy" to enter Heaven. It is through Him that any of us are worthy to stand before Him in that heavenly realm. That is the truth found in the Scripture in question. On a less magnificent scale, the word "worthy" in this passage means that we should be in a constant mindset of prayerful repentance. We should always want to be found "worthy"-cleansed of all unrighteousness, as stated in 1 John 1: 9, so that we will hear our Lord say to us on that day, "Well done, good and faithful servant" (Matthew 25:23). That said, if you have in your heart (deepest reaches of your spirit/soul) believed in the death, burial, and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ and have confessed with your mouth that He is your Savior, your salvation is sure. You're going to be with Him when He calls-either through death or in the Rapture. That is certain. Ezekiel's Prophesied Promise Coming to Pass in Israel in Vivid Way - Jonathan Feldstein - http://www.charismanews.com/opinion/standing-with-israel/65654-ezekiel-s-prophesied-promise-coming-to-pass-in-israel-in-vivid-way Until I moved to Israel, the closest I got to farming was knowing where to get good produce at a farmers market. Since living in Israel, I see how the simple act of eating and growing produce is a fulfillment of God's promise and Ezekiel's prophecy, which impacts and moves me personally. "I will make them and the places all around My hill a blessing. And I will cause the showers to come down in their season. They shall be showers of blessing. The tree of the field shall yield its fruit, and the ground shall yield its increase, and they shall be safe in their land" (Ezek. 34:26-27). When we bought our house in Israel, it was important to landscape our yard, not just with beautiful trees, but with ones that would demonstrate the blessing of the land. Israel is the only country in which there were more trees at the beginning of the 21st century than at the beginning of the 20th century. We have a cherry, apricot, lemon, lime, apple and plum tree and a grapevine. At this time of year, we see the fulfillment of that promise about which Ezekiel prophesied. No sooner have we picked and devoured the fruit of our cherry tree when it's time to harvest the apricots. This year, our apricot tree produced more than 1,000 sweet gems. And in two months, it will be time to pick the grapes and plums. But not to let any blessing go to waste, our grape leaves have been picked and used to make a middle-eastern favorite: stuffed grape leaves. Because lemon trees blossom and give fruit twice a year, rarely does a week go by that my wife doesn't pluck a fresh juicy lemon to use in cooking or squeeze into tea. But none of this is because I suddenly became a great farmer. And always when I pluck fresh fruit from my yard or simply walk into the house passing the apricots and grapes, I am mindful of the One from whom this blessing is derived. I often get choked up at how the miracle of an ordinary tree so embodies God's blessing of His people in our land. Looking out at the barren land between my house and Bethlehem, I sometimes imagine how this miracle is so vivid, not just in the fruit itself, but in the stark difference between what this area looked like before-barren, rocky and devoid of life. In 1867, Mark Twain visited Israel and wrote his impressions in The Innocents Abroad. He described a desolate country-devoid of both vegetation and people. He called Israel "A desolate country whose soil is rich enough, but is given over wholly to weeds ... a silent mournful expanse ... a desolation ... we never saw a human being on the whole route ... hardly a tree or shrub anywhere. Even the olive tree and the cactus, those fast friends of a worthless soil, had almost deserted the country." If he could only see it now, overflowing with life, with abundance, the modern-day miracle of Israel on a deep, spiritual level personified in our vegetation, in the fruit salad growing throughout my yard. Once, I was hosting a college professor whose specialty is middle eastern and modern Israeli history. In looking out at my neighborhood, he asked how I knew that this land wasn't in fact once owned by Palestinian Arabs. I answered that because I had a great teacher in college, and I learned to look to see what's there and what's not there. Had the land been owned by Palestinian Arabs, it'd likely have been terraced and used for cultivating grapes or olives, as are visible in so much of the Judean hills in which I live. Under Ottoman law from more than a century ago, one who cultivated the land owned the land. In many places, that's still observed here today. A short 50 years ago, these hills were virgin, undeveloped and never cultivated. The miracle of the growth of modern Israel affirms not just God's blessing but embodies Robert F. Kennedy's rhetorical question: "Some men see things as they are and ask why, I dream things that never were and ask why not." Israel received the gift of the land but also saw the promise in the land. Barren mountains and swamps teeming with malaria have become fertile. We have the privilege of not just being the recipients of God's promise but His partners in making this so. But as Israelis and Jews, it doesn't stop there. We affirm the biblical injunction known as the separation of terumah and maaser from produce of the land (Numbers 18). This is based in a time that the temple still stood, and these offerings were distributed in a specified manner to the Kohanim (Priests), Leviim (Levites) and the poor. The temple doesn't stand now, and we don't bring offerings there, so terumah and maaser are no longer distributed or eaten in Jerusalem. Yet the requirement to separate and designate them still applies. In that way, we affirm that even picking and eating apricots or buying potatoes at the grocery store has its source in the God of Israel. And every seven years we observe the shmita year, the biblically ordained sabbatical year, during which the Land is left to lie fallow and all agricultural activity, including plowing, planting, pruning and harvesting, is prohibited. The biblical injunction is mentioned and reiterated multiple times such as "You shall sow your land for six years and shall gather in its produce, but in the seventh year you shall let it rest and lie fallow, so that the poor of your people may eat, and what they leave the beasts of the field may eat" (Ex. 23:10-11). Shmita is also underscored in Leviticus 25:20-22 and Deuteronomy 15:1-6, as well as in Jeremiah, Nehemiah, Kings and Chronicles. Simply making or eating something as mundane as a salad connects us to the land, to the Bible and to God every day. In seeing the abundance of the land as embodied in my own back yard, I cant help but think of the spies Moses sent and the abundant fruit they bore with them along with the report, "And they spoke to all the assembly of the children of Israel, saying, 'The land which we passed through to explore it is a very, very good land'" (Num. 14:7). So through an act as simple as picking one-or a thousand-apricots, we not only literally enjoy the fruit of the land that God promised but also thrive on that and so many other blessings just by being here. Indeed, it feels like the prophet Ezekiel has come to visit and invoked this blessing on us personally. Daily Jot: The weaponization of the left's visceral speech - Bill Wilson - www.dailyjot.com The vulgar and hate-filled rhetoric of the left has resulted in violence across the country, most notably the recent Bernie Sanders supporter James Hodgkinson assassination attempt on Republican Congressmen. When we consider the tone of the news media, leftist entertainers and politicians, and then match that rhetoric with the actions of protestors and organized groups such as Moveon.org, the ex-"president's" organizations Organizing for America (his 2012 campaign organization) and Organizing For Action (his 2008 campaign organization), and Islamic groups, we can conclude they have all teamed up to oppose, obstruct, resist the government-using hate speech, fake news, and lies to foment rebellion and coup. For example, Bernie Sanders said on June 10th, three days before the shooting, "Today in the White House we have perhaps the worst and most dangerous president in the history or our country and we also have not to be forgotten extreme right-wing leadership in the US House and the US Senate." Sanders was parroted by Congressional shooter James Hodgkinson two days later at the garage where he was having his tires checked. AP reported Del Ray Service Center worker Crist Dauberman describing the exchange: "This man was just so passionate and hateful toward (President Donald) Trump, recounting Hodgkinson's profanity-laden tirade. Among other things, Hodgkinson said Trump had screwed up the country "more than anyone in the history of this country."" Sanders can issue an apology all he wants, and he can try to distance himself from Hodgkinson's actions, but doesn't the Hodgkinson situation fit the very definition that the liberals use for hate speech? Hate speech is defined as "spoken words that are offensive, insulting, and/or threatening to an individual or group based on a particular attribute of that person or persons being targeted." Hate crimes are those where an illegal act is committed against an individual or group based on a particular attribute of that person or group. The consideration in the current atmosphere is whether the vulgar visceral rhetoric of the left against Republicans or Trump supporters is causing people like Hodgkinson to take violent action. Professor of Media Arts at the Art Institute of Washington, Dr. John Griffin, tweeted of Republican Congressmen, "They should be lined up and shot." This Democrat Socialist Club of the University of Georgia responded by tweeting, "This is absolutely outrageous! House Republicans should not be shot! They should be guillotined." When called out on it, the professor apologized and the Socialists in Georgia said it was a joke. But it's no joke to people like Hodgkinson. The visceral words of the left are then weaponized, whether or not they are considered hate speech. Jesus said in Matthew 15:11, "Not that which goes into the mouth defiles a man; but that which comes out of the mouth, this defiles a man." We should point out to others that irrespective of their politics, this hateful speech is inappropriate, offensive, and dangerous. Daily Devotion: A Learning Church - By Greg Laurie - www.harvest.org All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching, and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals (including the Lord's Supper), and to prayer. -Acts 2:42 I heard a story about a pastor who wasn't getting much feedback about the sermon he preached. So after the service, he stood in the back of the church to shake hands with people and wait for someone to say something about it. But no one said a word. Finally one woman came by who always had something thoughtful to say, so he asked her, "What did you think of my sermon today? How was it?" "Pastor," she said, "your sermon reminded me of the peace and love of God." He was relieved to hear that. "Wow," he said, "I've never had anyone actually say that to me before. Tell me, how did my message remind of you of the peace and love of God?" "Well, like the peace of God, it passed all understanding. And like the love of God, it endured forever." Far too many preachers today can take the life-changing, power-packed message of the Word of God and somehow make it dull and uninteresting. The early church, the church of the first century, was a Spirit-filled church. It was a strong, vibrant, healthy, living church. This early church had passion. They had excitement. They had commitment. They were living in a first-love relationship with Jesus Christ, and they had burning hearts-not a casual attitude. There was spiritual excitement in what they did. They applied themselves to what was taught from the Word of God. As John Stott said, "The Spirit of God leads the people of God to submit to the Word of God." They believed in the teaching and preaching of the Bible. This is a primary mission of the church today. And if you are a real believer who has been filled with the Holy Spirit, then you will love the Word of God. FROM THE HEART
