Unidentified flying objects are part of our culture from childhood, and they have been and are today used to influence our thinking whether we realize it or not. From childhood cartoons to motion pictures and TV, they mold how we see and even feel about them. The 1950's through the early 2000's had us labeled as being a touch crazy if we dared to believe in them; they were anything but real - cloud formations, swamp gas - anything, but not real. During that time, the media kept filling our subconscious with imagery of what they should be. Friendly little beings and/ or spooky critters to be avoided were the two views topping the list, but still they were not supposed to be real. At some point after 2005, the media, governments and executives determined it was time to bend our thinking once again with the idea that they are now, not just real, but also they are our distant brother race that should be looked to for the answers. This is a higher civilization, was the message which came from the flood of data released by country after country from the secret files they had compiled over the years. All of a sudden it's public information. The veil of Top Secrecy had been dropped; the files are now in the public domain - well let's say one part of them, because when you look below the surface they only released a portion of the data and have withheld areas that will remain in the conspiracy theory realm to this day. Let me mention the secretive areas without going into detail: D.U.M.B. (Deep Underground Military Bases), RFID Implants, Missing People - abductions, missing hardware (ship and planes), and of course entire groups of people being taken at once with no explanation or follow-up investigation. The information we were allowed to have consists of files verifying sightings and diverse races, but the character and nature of the beings was left up to others with some type of status for them to color in as to whom or what these beings actually could be. The Pope, famous scientists, and even actors play a part in how we are to see these suddenly real beings and the craft they pilot around the planet. My, my, how a little time can change a situation..., or does it? Within 70 years, we've gone from being crazy for believing into, yes, you should believe, but only if you see it our way. No other explanation required, and you're expected to accept this as is. No deeper digging please; it's not necessary. The authorities will fill in the blanks as required, so don't worry; everything is fine and under control. They are a higher power looking to help us with the many problems and troubles we have today. They will have the answers, but we alone will ask the questions. It is important to see the coincidental timing of those events and the timing of Israel becoming a nation in 1948. Israel is key for keeping track of God's timetable concerning end-times events. The tail end of Revelation 12:12 says, "...for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time" (KJV). Timing is key; and it becomes clear to see the powers behind UFO/alien events are also very aware of timing and exactly when things should be released to the public. "For there shall arise false Christs, and prophets, and they shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect" (Matthew 24:24). Before our eyes, we are seeing the development of the largest deceptive move ever taken against mankind. A plan so deep and widespread it could stand to fool even the strongest of believers among the Christian community. While UFO's and aliens are now a part of the mainstream entertainment cycle, it must be noted that the people releasing the information are also forming the things we believe about them; they have reserved that right and expect you to abide by whatever it is they dictate as facts. I need to make a notation here, and we need to understand UFO's and aliens are not unique for spreading the lies; but they are only one part of many means used to communicate false beliefs and demonic doctrines. The message from these so-called "other worldly" beings are cousins to Ouija Boards, Tarot Cards, Palm Readers, Telephone Psychic's, Séances and even Satan Worshipers; it all depends which size and flavor appeals to you. They have something to meet almost every curiosity and level of interest. Remember, these beings have been at this for a very long time and have truckloads of experience on how to pull you in and deceive even the finest biblical student. Use Caution; use extreme caution, remembering that the only true means of protection comes through God's Holy Spirit and remaining grounded in the Full Armour of God (Ephesians 6:11-18). Within one lifetime, we've gone from "don't you dare believe" into "yes, believe, but only what we tell you." From death threats if you speak of it into openly published documents for all to review. How can this be? Has anyone wondered how it could change so much in so short a time? Seeing how the official narrative for UFO's has not stayed on track, let's take a look at something that never changed and has never wavered, shall we? Our observation and diligent study are required in order to remain stable and grounded. We are to seek out knowledge and be informed.
(All scriptures referenced to KJV) Time after time we are told to be aware, to have knowledge and not to reject the evidences that are right in front of us. It is our duty to know and, likewise, to tell others and not to act lazily but to search out a matter. The greatest act of deception, so far, has been setting its stage to collect the masses, and it clearly is up to Christians living by The Word to spread this knowledge before the deception is fully employed and official disclosure is made. I will leave it to YouTube and other web pages for you to search out the evidence on the subject-and we have no shortage of those; it could keep you busy for weeks. Most of these are well thought out and insightful, but you'll still need to use some discretion. Simply search YouTube for "great deception" and you'll be showered with a cascade of information. Try to stay with the Christian point of view such as Steve Quayle and LA Marzulli. They do a fine job exposing the subject using evidence which is the fruit of their own research; so they have proved it out for themselves, not depending on a supposition but, rather, based on factual evidence. If you're aware of this deception, please make sure others within your circle know of it also. If not, please take the time to study it. This is a major event coming to mankind, and it can't be far off. When we see the other events happening globally and the patterns of how they follow a biblical outline, it becomes obvious we are the last generation which will experience this global deception. If you're born-again, it will not include you; but it will impact others you may know that are not yet saved. It is up to you to tell them and warn them of this scheme before it happens so they have an educated chance for survival during the toughest time the earth will ever know. The Destruction of Iran: Jeremiah 49 - Joel - http://www.christianevidence.net/2018/06/the-destruction-of-iran-jeremiah-49.html "Behold, I will break the bow of Elam, the chief of their might" (Jeremiah 49:35) There is another prophecy concerning Iran that possibly precedes the Gog and Magog scenario outlined by Ezekiel. In Jeremiah 49:34-39, we are told that Elam will come under the judgement of God for conspiring to launch an attack against Israel in the "latter days". Modern day Iran is comprised of ancient Elam (about one-tenth) and Persia. This prophecy concerning Iran has not yet been fulfilled, but seems to align with Iran's current nuclear aspirations! Let's see the prophecy in Jeremiah 49:35-39... 35 Thus saith the Lord of hosts; Behold, I will break the bow of Elam, the chief of their might. Jeremiah predicts that Elam will be struck at the foremost place of its strength. Today, this could infer an attack upon Iran's growing nuclear program. One of Iran's most strategic and vulnerable nuclear targets is the Bushehr nuclear reactor, located in the heart of ancient Elam (see map below). Jeremiah also predicts that Iran will suffer the fate of a broken bow. When your bow is broken, you cannot load the arrows from out of your quiver, or in a modern sense, the missiles out of your silo. This might imply that the IRGC (Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps) will be unable to launch scores of its missiles (arrows in modern warfare are missiles) at its enemies. 36 And upon Elam will I bring the four winds from the four quarters of heaven, and will scatter them toward all those winds; and there shall be no nation whither the outcasts of Elam shall not come. Jeremiah then warns that after the attack the affected populations are forced to scatter from the area. This could be the result of Iranian's attempting to flee from an isolated nuclear disaster. Should the Bushehr nuclear reactor be struck, this becomes a very real possibility because the facility is loaded with Russian supplied fuel rods. John Bolton, former US Ambassador to the UN, said in 2010, "Israel's got a problem, because once the fuel rods are inserted into the reactor, an attack ... would almost certainly release the radiation into the atmosphere". Several other studies conducted of the safety of the Bushehr nuclear site have concluded that an accident at the facility could result in such a disaster. The radioactive mess would cause a mass exodus of peoples in the surrounding area (a worldwide dispersion of the Iranian people just as prophesied)! 37 For I will cause Elam to be dismayed before their enemies, and before them that seek their life: and I will bring evil upon them, even my fierce anger, saith the Lord; and I will send the sword after them, till I have consumed them: From the scripture we can derive the Lord is angry with Iran which results in some disaster in Iran. 38 And I will set my throne in Elam, and will destroy from thence the king and the princes, saith the Lord. 39 But it shall come to pass in the latter days, that I will bring again the captivity of Elam, saith the Lord. Jeremiah's prophecy also points out the Lord will set His throne in Elam. Iranians who accept Christ in advance of His second coming will be returned from global exile into the restored fortunes of their historic homeland in Elam. Interestingly, for the last few years Iran has been experiencing one of the largest revivals on earth. From approximately 500 believers in 1979 [the year of the Iranian Revolution], to several million today, Iran is the fastest-growing evangelical population in the world! Christianity is burgeoning so rapidly that the rogue Islamic regime has instituted harsh policies to curb its growth. The most likely fulfillment of this prophecy will occur when the nuclear reactor is destroyed, either by the Israelis or by an earthquake, releasing radiation that will force the evacuation of the whole area. Take note that the region where Bushehr is located in Elam is active earthquake country and it sits on a tectonic plate. The Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant is physically separated from greater Iran (Persia) by the Zagros Mountain range.The rapid elevation change due to the Zagros Mountain range would likely protect most of Iran from the meltdown allowing them to attack as one of the nations of Magog another day. Interestingly, Ezekiel was familiar with Elam, according to Ezekiel 32:24-25, but he did not include Elam in the lineup of invaders in Ezekiel 38, perhaps because it is destroyed by then. Written more than 2,600 years ago, Jeremiah may have predicted the fate of Iran's nuclear program and today's spiritual showdown in Iran! What are the odds of that? News from Hal Lindsey Media Ministries - Hal Lindsey - www.hallindsey.com It's been almost two weeks since the historic summit meeting between President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un. Most of the mainstream media has already dropped any mention of it. Some have continued in their relentless criticism of it. Reuters recently noted the "stunning concession" that President Trump made to Kim by offering to halt the joint military exercises with South Korea. They said it "baffled allies, military officials, and lawmakers from his own Republican Party." To be kind, I think the writers at Reuters were engaging in a bit of hyperbole. It was not a stunning concession. It was an offer. And war games can be quickly resumed. Further, our force level in South Korea has not been diminished and our best leverage, sanctions, have not been weakened one bit. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo affirmed it by saying, "We're going to get denuclearization. Only then will there be relief from sanctions." Reuters also declared that the offer to suspend the military exercises is "sure to rattle close allies South Korea and Japan." Wrong again. South Korea and Japan are thrilled with the talks and support them fully. They are not rattled or baffled. As I said last week, remember that nothing discussed is set in stone. The joint declaration was simply a starting point with the real negotiations to follow. We don't know yet if Kim will even keep his preliminary promises. That all remains to be seen. Don't do what the media and the political Left are doing -- getting the cart before the horse! I don't know about the mainstream media and our friends on the Left end of the political spectrum, but for most of us, the fact that President Trump and Kim Jong-un are talking is welcome news. We prefer conversation rather than nuclear war! I suspect, though, that what they really hate is not peace, but any prospect of success for the President. If you are a regular viewer of The Hal Lindsey Report, you are familiar with these words: "Yesterday's prophecies; today's headlines!" That's how each week's program begins. Every once in a while, I like to take a quick "snapshot" of how those words are unfolding before us. Not an exhaustive look at how today's top news stories are fulfilling the words of the ancient prophets, but a brief glimpse at a few of the prophetic signs and how current events -- oftentimes unreported or overlooked by the mainstream media -- are making those prophecies come alive. In other words, it's way past time to get ready for this Age of Grace to end. Speaking of the Age of Grace, we are truly blessed by God to be living in these days. Why? Because all mankind is under the sentence of God's perfect justice, but because of His unfathomable mercy, we can be the recipients of His boundless grace. The Harlot Rahab - Nathele Graham - [email protected] Have you ever looked into your family history? We all want our ancestors to be pillars of the community with squeaky clean reputations, but that isn't always the case. Years ago my father found out that there were horse thieves in the family tree and we were all a little surprised. Even the genealogy of Jesus has some surprises. Matthew's Gospel begins by giving the family tree of Jesus. This genealogy establishes that He was legally from the bloodline of King David. Both Mary and Joseph's bloodlines were through King David, but Mary's came through David's son Nathan while Joseph's was through Solomon. Joseph wasn't the biological father of Jesus, but He was the step-father and therefore, by human terms, the legal father. Matthew includes some interesting people in the genealogy. He names five women: Thamar (Tamar - Matthew 1:3a), Rachab (Rahab- Matthew 1:5a), Ruth (Matthew 1:5b), Bathsheba (indirectly named as "her that had been the wife of Urias - Matthew 1:6b), and of course Mary (Matthew 1:16). Jewish genealogies usually don't include the mother's name, but Matthew saw the need to include them. Tamar, Rahab, and Ruth were Gentiles, and Tamar, Rahab, Bathsheba, and Mary were women who would cause gossip and raise eyebrows. Let's take a closer look at Rahab. After years of wandering in the wilderness it was time for the Israelites to enter the Promised Land. Moses had died and it was up to Joshua to lead the Israelites in the conquest of the land. The first place to conquer was Jericho, which was a heavily fortified city with a strong army. Joshua decided to first send in two spies rather than just storming in for the conquest. "...And they went, and came into an harlot's house, named Rahab, and lodged there." Joshua 2:1b. It's no secret what Rahab's profession was. She was a prostitute. Even though her way of life was not honorable, Rahab heard things and believed that the one true God was with the Israelites. She had heard about the miracle of how God had dried up the Red Sea in order for them to pass in safety. She had also heard how the Israelites had defeated King Sihon and King Og, which were also miracles from God. "And as soon as we had heard these things, our hearts did melt, neither did there remain any more courage in any man, because of you: for the LORD your God, he is God in heaven above, and in earth beneath." Joshua 2:11. Rahab was a pagan prostitute but knew more about the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob than most of the Hebrews who had left Egypt. Had they trusted God 40 years earlier they would have entered the land, but they feared the giants there. Rahab understood that God had done miracles and knew that she wanted to leave Jericho and sin behind and go with the Israelites and embrace God Almighty. Rahab made a deal with the two spies. She would help them escape if they promised not to destroy her or her family when they destroyed Jericho. Rahab had faith. She knew that Jericho would be destroyed and she knew that she could trust these men who represented the true God to save her and the ones she loved. Rahab's trust was not misplaced, but she must have wondered about the battle plan. The gates of Jericho were shut tight against the Israelites but God's plan was that every day for six days they would walk behind the Ark of the Covenant and circle the city. On the seventh day they would do this seven times, then when there was a long blast on the shofar they were to let out a mighty shout. That's when the walls would fall. "And it came to pass at the seventh time, when the priests blew with the trumpets, Joshua said unto the people, Shout; for the LORD hath given you the city. And the city shall be accursed, even it, and all that are therein, to the LORD: only Rahab the harlot shall live, she and all that are with her in the house, because she hid the messengers that we sent." Joshua 6:16-17. The shofar blew, the shout went up, the walls fell and the two spies went in and brought out Rahab and her family. Jericho was destroyed, but a pagan prostitute and her family were saved because of her faith in God Almighty. What was there about Rahab that protected her? She had all the earmarks of a person who was condemned by sin. She lived in a very pagan culture and that should have been enough to blind her to God, but when she heard the accounts of what God had done to save the Israelites, she believed. Rahab worked in a very sinful profession but didn't want to die in that lifestyle. When she had the opportunity, she acted on her belief in God by protecting the Hebrew spies and helping them to escape. In return she asked them to help her escape from certain death. "Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she received the messengers, and had sent them out another way?" James 2:25. Instead of just believing the stories, she had faith. She put that faith into action. "By faith the harlot Rahab perished not with them that believed not, when she had received the spies with peace." Hebrews 11:31. The harlot Rahab didn't just give God lip service, but she chose to change her life and move away from her sin. We can learn a lot from Rahab. How often do we state that we're Christians but don't put our faith into action? Many people throughout the ages have heard about Jesus, but something stops them from accepting Him. A good example is King Agrippa. When Paul was pleading his case before Festus, King Agrippa came for a visit. He knew Jewish history well and his family had been involved in many ugly dealings in the Jewish community. His great-grandfather had ordered baby boys under 2 years old to be murdered in an attempt to kill the baby Jesus. It was his grandfather who had John the Baptist beheaded and his father was the one who had the Apostle James martyred. King Agrippa knew about Jewish Laws and traditions as well as about Christian ways. This knowledge should have made him receptive to Paul's testimony. After Paul testified before Agrippa, Festus accused him of being out of his mind. Paul said "For the king knoweth of these things, before whom also I speak freely: for I am persuaded that none of these things are hidden from him; for this thing was not done in a corner. King Agrippa, believest thou the prophets? I know that thou believest." Acts 26:26-27. Agrippa had all the evidence he needed in order to come to salvation, but he refused. He knew about Jesus, but he wouldn't turn to Him in faith. Unlike the harlot Rahab, Agrippa wanted to stay in the sinful state he was in. "Then Agrippa said unto Paul, Almost thou persuadest me to be a Christian." Acts 26:28. Almost isn't enough. There can be no fence-sitting or gray areas. Either you believe and give your life to Jesus, or you condemn yourself to eternal death. The decision to accept Christ is a personal decision. A parent cannot decide for a child. If you think you're a Christian because you had been baptized as a baby, then you haven't made your own decision. Baptism doesn't bring salvation but understanding that you're a sinner and only the shed blood of Jesus will take that sin away will. "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast." Ephesians 2:8-9. Rahab acted upon her faith and because she did, she and her family didn't die in Jericho. She went on to live out her faith and became a part of the most important genealogy in history. She turned from her sin, married Salmon, and is listed as the great-great-grandmother of King David, and more importantly as an ancestor of Jesus. What happened to King Agrippa? He rejected Christ and is now regretting that decision. Most people today have a general idea about Christ. Some even claim to know Him but embrace a religion that is far from the truth. Be sure that you truly know Christ. The Harlot Rahab lived long before Jesus walked this earth, but she knew the true God and changed her lifestyle. Rahab has gone down in history known in human terms as "the harlot Rahab", but she didn't remain a harlot. Be like Rahab and reach out in Faith to the one true God...reach out to Jesus. Daily Jot: Technology and mental disorders in children - Bill Wilson - www.dailyjot.com The World Health Organization has recently classified "gaming disorder" from playing too much video games as a mental health condition. Medicalxpress.com reports, "The statement confirmed the fears of some parents but led critics to warn that it may risk stigmatizing too many young video players." Meantime, England's National Health Service head Simon Stevens told a June 13 conference in Manchester that Britain's children were experiencing a double epidemic of mental illness and obesity related to social media and online gaming. The UK Telegraph reports that NHS is calling for Facebook, Google and online gaming firms to have a statutory duty of care to protect children from mental health issues and addictive behavior. The international do-gooders are recognizing the ill effects of too much technology on children and are starting to do something about it, but what about the kids in America? Are video games, social media and violence on streaming video channels impacting America's kids? Are school shootings and bullying at least partially the result of too much of the wrong content on various technology platforms? What about the obesity problem among children here in the US? Washington Times Contributor Robert Knight has some specific examples in a revealing column "Taking Aim at Young Targets." Knight expertly points out the violent culture of video games and content available on phones, tablets, computers, and TVs. Knight writes, "The "Active Shooter" video game is a diabolical instrument created by Anton Makarevskiy, a 21-year-old Russian... Players in "Active Shooter" can be a mass murderer terrorizing a school or a SWAT team member responding. As the game progresses, civilian and police death totals are tabulated on the screen." Knight aptly points out: "We don't know exactly the impact of violent video games. The media trot out psychologists who assure us that there's no causal relationship to real-life violence. In fact, a recent study claims that 80 percent of mass shooters had no interest in video games. Before we take leave of common sense, we need to ask: If viewing has no effect on behavior, why do merchants invest billions of dollars on ads to influence people's buying choices?" Knight rhetorically asks if Hollywood liberals think their gun-heavy, ultra-violent content has no effect. He points to "13 Reasons Why," a fictional Netflix show about why a teen took her life, as an example. He quotes Tim Winter of the Parents Television Council: "Millions of children watched; the Google search term for how to commit suicide spiked 26 percent; and there were news reports of children literally taking their own lives after the series was released." According to CDC, suicide rates among girls aged 10-14 have tripled over the past 15 years. Proverbs 22:6 says, "Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it." As a parent/grandparent/uncle/aunt/brother/sister, we all need to double down on our efforts guide children toward Christ and away from the evils of some technology and its content. Daily Devotion: A Question for Husbands - By Greg Laurie - www.harvest.org In the same way, you husbands must give honor to your wives. Treat your wife with understanding as you live together. She may be weaker than you are, but she is your equal partner in God's gift of new life. Treat her as you should so your prayers will not be hindered. -1 Peter 3:7 Guys, let me ask you a question. Have you ever wondered why your prayers sometimes don't seem to go anywhere? Could it be that you haven't honored your wife as you should, and it has actually hindered your prayer life? The Bible says that can happen. First Peter 3 tells us, "You husbands must give honor to your wives. Treat your wife with understanding as you live together. She may be weaker than you are, but she is your equal partner in God's gift of new life. Treat her as you should so your prayers will not be hindered" (verse 7 NLT). Peter was saying you need to understand how important your wife is. If you don't, if you aren't united with her as you ought to be, then your prayers will be hindered. I believe that husbands hold the key to a successful marriage. Why single out husbands? Because God has called them to be the spiritual leader in the home. God has called the man to be the initiator. What are men told to do? They are told to love their wives as Christ loves the church. Why does the church love Christ? Because He first loved us. The wife's respect, the wife's submission, comes as a response to her husband's loving servant leadership. Just as we became Christians because Jesus won us over with His undying love, with His everlasting love, so the husband can win over his wife by the way he loves her and by the way he serves her. Sadly, in too many relationships the husband is not the spiritual leader. In fact, the wife is often the spiritual leader in the home. The husband is passive at best and sometimes hostile at worst. Husbands, be the leader God has called you to be.
