The Times of the Signs - Part Two - By Ed Wood -
https://www.raptureready.com/2019/07/03/times-signs-part-two-ed-wood/ In Part One of our exploration of the prophecies Jesus gave in the Olivet Discourse, we discovered that one had been fulfilled, namely the destruction of the temple in 70 A.D., and that the following are already under way: 1) The appearance of False Prophets. 2) Wars (and rumors of wars) of which the Twentieth Century was the worst in that regard so far. 3) Famine. 4) Earthquakes. 5) Natural Disasters. 6) People getting worse. 7) Christians being persecuted. 8) The access and preaching of the Gospel to virtually every part of the world. 9) Strife among families. We will now look at the next two events in the prophetic timeline. The final prophecy to be fulfilled before the Tribulation begins. THE RAPTURE Matthew {24:37-41} But as the days of Noe [were,] so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Two [women shall be] grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left. (Jesus is the speaker.) It's likely that the people of Noah's time, much like today, were becoming increasingly desensitized to the evil growing around them. Like now, they were also unaware that their own "End Times" would soon be upon them. Though the Bible doesn't provide details of Noah's interactions with the people around him, common sense dictates that they must have wondered about his seemingly irrational activity of building a huge ship in a place where none was obviously needed. As if that wasn't enough, he eventually started collecting pairs of animals to load aboard. It seems reasonable to assume they asked him about all this. Obviously, they didn't take him seriously or else they would have been making their own preparations to survive. It seems safe to assume that they regarded him as a raving lunatic. So what about today? In the passage above, the Bible tells us that Jesus said the conditions at the end of the age would parallel those of Noah's time, and, indeed, they are doing just that. The presence of evil is growing and, as was the case with the Flood, most of the world, even much of the modern church, doesn't expect the return of Jesus for his followers, either. When it does happen, it'll be just as big a surprise as the Flood. The only difference is that Noah's society didn't have time to speculate about the Deluge afterwards as today's will after the Rapture. Now the problem some have in accepting the passage above as a true Rapture verse is the 50/50 ratio of those taken and those left behind. I suggest that it might not refer to a literal 50% division, but may be a figure of speech to illustrate the point of people being taken away from their daily routines quite unexpectedly while the others left behind are totally baffled. This theme of "unexpectedness" appears several times in Matthew, chapters 24 and 25. If we consider that everything the Bible has to say is important, it follows that the more often something is repeated, the more we should pay attention. A good example of this occurred regarding Joseph's interpretation of the repetitive aspects of pharaoh's dream in Genesis, chapter 41. Now let's see what Paul describes in an unambiguous Rapture passage: 1 Corinthians {15:51-54} Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal [must] put on immortality. So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. Much has already been written about the Rapture, pro and con, some of the adherents to the latter doing so vehemently and, quite frankly, unpleasantly. Just to make it clear, I am of the former persuasion because only the occurrence of the the Rapture can reconcile the passages like those above which indicate an initial time when Jesus' return coming as a complete surprise with believers being gathered to him in the air (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18) which will mystify those left behind and a second which will be his unmistakable return that the whole world see and which will conclude the seventh year of the Tribulation: Matthew {24:27} For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. (Jesus is the speaker.) The specific timeline for Jesus' Second Coming to Earth can be found in Daniel 9:24 - 27. The concluding verse reveals that the time of the Antichrist's "covenant with many" would last one week (seven years), based on the 360 day length of a Jewish year. Though the entire Tribulation, which will certainly mark a dreadful time for the world, begins when the Antichrist ratifies his "covenant" and lasts seven years, the final half will be even worse. It will finish when Jesus personally comes to put an end to the most horrific despot that has ever lived and destroy his armies at Armageddon (Daniel 7:11-14; Revelation 19:7-21). From the halfway point, when the Antichrist abrogates the covenant, the exact time of the Second Coming of Jesus is given as 1260 days (symbolically described in Revelation 12:1-7. See also Genesis 37:1-9 which identifies the parties in the Revelation passage), which is also the amount of time Israel is given supernatural refuge by God in the wilderness after the treaty is broken. We now have two definite markers in time for Jesus' Second Coming. The Rapture has none. The only way to explain this is that they are two different events. We also do not know is how soon after the Rapture the Tribulation will begin. It may follow closely, since the sudden and unexplained disappearance of millions of those who have accepted Jesus will send unprecedented shock waves across our planet. I have no doubt that Satan will exploit this time of global fear and confusion to bring his "man of sin" onto the world stage and ultimately into a position of authority that no other human being has ever attained before. The Beginning of the Tribulation Let's look at a possible scenario of how these last seven years might begin. The Rapture has come and gone, millions of people have vanished. Theories are rampant as to what has happened as the human race reels in fear. How will people react? Looking at post-World War 1 Germany may give us valuable insight into that question. It was a time when that nation was a complete mess on every level. It's economy was ruin, unemployment was high, and its people demoralized. Into this scene appeared a young, intense, charismatic man, whom some described as having literally a spellbinding effect on his associates and, ultimately, on the masses of Germans looking for someone who could give them the answers and a hope for the future that they could not find anywhere else. I'm sure you already recognize this description of Adolf Hitler, the German Chancellor whose wickedness cost the lives of millions in his mad dash for global domination. History has shown that desperate people do desperate things and I believe that the Antichrist will come to power following this dark blueprint from the past. Since humanity never seems to learn from history, the Antichrist, like Hitler, will be welcomed with open arms. Into the Dark Times It may very well be that with the along with ascent of the Antichrist to power, people will buy into his promises that a golden age is just ahead. I expect he'll come up with a multi-spectrumed plan to stabilize the global economy and to attempt to deal with the increasing distresses that Bible Prophecy has told us will characterize the Tribulation. Perhaps his most significant action will be his confirmation of a Middle East peace treaty which had already been mapped out before his ascent to world leadership. It will initially succeed where previous peace plans have failed. It will also start the seven-year Tribulation countdown clock. Paradoxically, despite an overall deterioration of conditions on Earth as God's judgments are being poured out, the Middle East, Israel in particular, may experience relative "peace and safety" (1 Thessalonians 5:3) for the next three and a half years. The reason the Antichrist gives his approval to this peace treaty may be twofold: First, to raise his stature in the eyes of the world. Second, to get as many Jews back to Israel so he can get most of them into one place for future extermination (Zechariah 14:1-2; Revelation 16:13-14). The confirmed covenant may possibly include a provision that allows for the rebuilding of the Jewish Temple on its original site, yet another powerful incentive to get the Jews to come home. That the temple must exist at some level of completion is a necessary element in the prophetic timeline and integral to the Antichrist's plans when he goes there to declare himself "God" three and a half years later, as we will soon see. Most people, excepting those who come to believe in Jesus after the Rapture, Jews and Gentiles alike, will apparently believe in this "Answer Man" so much that they'll embrace his ultimate claims of deity without resistance. That will initiate the final three and a half year countdown when world conditions get a lot worse. As far as Israel goes, it, along with the Tribulation Christians, will become the prime targets of his retaliation. Into the Darkest Times THE ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION Matthew {24:15, 21} When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) . . For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. (Jesus is the speaker.) What is this "Abomination of Desolation?" In order to set the stage for that, here is what must happen first: Daniel {9:27} And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make [it] desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate. 2 Thessalonians {2:3-4} Let no man deceive you by any means: for [that day shall not come,] except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition*; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. *The Antichrist Without the temple being rebuilt, these prophecies could not be fulfilled because it is needed for the Mosaic system to be reinstituted - and then disrupted. The next prophecy after the Antichrist's usurpation of the temple is the creation of the "Abomination of Desolation." Daniel actually mentions two instances of this taking place: Daniel {8:13-14} Then I heard one saint speaking, and another saint said unto that certain [saint] which spake, How long [shall be] the vision [concerning] the daily [sacrifice,] and the transgression of desolation, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot? And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed. This first incident involved the desecration of the temple by Antiochus IV Epiphanes in 168 B.C. At that time, he installed in it his own altar, a statue of Zeus with his face on it and offered up swine - an animal declared by God as unclean. Three years later, the Maccabees successfully regained control of the temple and purified it. Chanukah annually celebrates this victory and the miracle of a one-day supply of sanctified lamp oil lasting instead for eight days. Concerning the apparent discrepancy of the length of time noted by Daniel as being twice as long as the actual length between the defilement (Kislev 25, 168 B.C.) and purification of the temple (Kislev 25, 165 B.C.), according to the Zondervan Study Bible (copyright 2002), the term "days," as used by Daniel, was actually the total of mornings and evenings. That brings us to 1150 twenty-four hour days, or about 3 years and two months. The extra two months are attributed to the interval between Antiochus' removal of the Jewish altar and replacing it with his own. Now here is the account of the future version, first from Daniel, then from Revelation: Daniel 9:27 {9:27} And he* shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week** he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make [it] desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate. *The Antichrist. ** Note that the length of time Daniel gives for this second desecration is three and a half years. Here we have one week equaling seven years, four months longer than the amount of time regarding the first "abomination" by Antiochus IV. Revelation {13:14-15} And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by [the means of] those miracles which he* had power to do in the sight of the beast**; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. *The False Prophet, the Antichrist's second in command and spokesman. **Antichrist Where Antiochus had placed an ordinary statue in the temple, the passage above indicates that his "abomination" will be animated somehow by the False Prophet. With the level of electronic technology available today, this does not at all sound far-fetched. There may be even more to it than mere technology, perhaps a supernatural component, at which we can only guess now. Whatever the nature of this "abomination" is, I suspect that most of the world will willingly worship it, especially after the miraculous "pseudo-resurrection" of the Antichrist himself by the devil himself (Revelation 13:3). This will begin the time at which things get indescribably worse. The California Earthquakes and The Last Great Global Earthquake of the Day of the Lord! - David Pepe - https://www.theignorantfishermen.com/2011/03/last-great-earthquake-of-day-of-lord.html In light of the recent California earthquakes, many in that state are gripped with fear asking themselves, " Is the "Big One" just around the corner?" There is nothing as fearful and gripping as an earthquake and in California, the inhabitants of that state always live with the thought, is the Big One just one earthquake away? In a day predestined by Almighty God coming up in the near future, near the end of the Great Tribulation time period (Rev 6-19), just before the Lord Jesus Christ's returns to planet earth to destroy the demonically driven global armies of the Anti Christ (Zech. 12:8-9, Rev. 16:13-16; 19:11-21), a GLOBAL EARTHQUAKE so EXPONENTIALLY unimaginable will ABSOLUTELY ravish the world's topographical landscape beyond ALL comparison! So EXPONENTIALLY great will this earthquake be, so EXPONENTIALLY catastrophic, that ALL of the world's islands and coasts will be forever more removed from off of the face of the earth (Rev. 16:18-20)! At this time, these global tsunamis' brought about by the GREATEST EARTHQUAKE will wipe out whatever coastal and island populations that have survived this horrendous seven year time period (Rev. 6-16). Continental landscapes will be upturned and rivers diverted beyond ALL recognition! The remaining forests, plains and lakes (Rev. 8:7) will be absolutely wiped out, scattered abroad and rent! The GREAT MOUNTAINS of the world (the Himalayas, Appalachian, Andes, and the Rocky Mountains, etc.) will be brought down to dust and will not be found (Rev. 16:20)! Whatever remains of the world's once GREAT cities and their inhabitants (Paris, London, Hong Kong, New York, Rome, Moscow, Beijing, New Delhi etc.) will ALL be finally and utterly wiped out and buried beyond all recognition (except Jerusalem "that Great city") (Rev. 16:19). It will be at this time - before Christ's Second Coming - that Almighty God will finally say to little finite godless and rebellious man, ENOUGH is ENOUGH (Isa. 24:5-6, Hag 2:6-7, Rev 16)!!! By this GLOBAL EARTHQUAKE shall EVERY fault line and tectonic plate be move out of its place and will absolutely transform the present continental landscapes as we know them to a wasteland of carnage, destruction and a catastrophic heap! This EXPONENTIAL quake will obliterate all resemblance of this present world and obliterate any works of splendor that mankind has designed and created since the Tower of Babel 4300 years ago (Gen. 11 - Rev. 18). Just as Almighty God used the Genesis flood to obliterate the godless and EXPONENTIALLY violent Enochian (City built by Cain) pre-flood world's society and culture (Gen. 4:16-17; 6-7, 2 Peter 2:5; 3:6, 1 John 3:12, Jude 1:10-11), so also shall this EARTHQUAKE wondrously accomplish Almighty God's will in bringing to naught mankind's godless achievements and accomplishments (Rev. 16:18-20)! What is even more sobering and unimaginable than this EXPONENTIAL CATASTROPHIC EARTHQUAKE is that the surviving inhabitants of the Anti Christ's 666 global state will seek with ALL their godless vindictive being to grope and crawl with ALL of their innate hatred and hardened hearts to war with Almighty God at the Battle of Armageddon (Psalm, 110, 2 Thess. 2:10-12, Rev. 16:21)! Oh, my dear friends, how hard the heart of fallen man will get in that day towards the RIGHTEOUSNESS and ETERNAL LOVE of ALMIGHTY GOD the Creator (John 3:16-17)?! Not even this EXPONENTIAL GLOBAL EARTHQUAKE will slow down fallen man's godless demonic quest to war with their ETERNAL RIGHTEOUS Creator at the Battle of Armageddon (Rev. 16)! What words can we find or use to even try to begin to describe these EXPONENTIAL calamities and judgments which will be unleashed by Almighty God on rebellious mankind during this time (Isa. 24:5-6, Rev. 6-16)! WONDROUS, EXPONENTIAL, STUPENDOUS, AWESOME, MIND BLOWING utterly fail to describe what Almighty God will do unto the godless inventions and rebellion of unregenerate and hard-hearted man (Rom. 1:18-32)! These WONDROUS judgments are done not to just judge mankind for their wickedness, but to wake up godless man to repent and be saved (return and be delivered) to their Creator and Savior (John 3:16-17, Rom. 2:4, 1 Peter 3:20, 2 Peter 3:9, 15)! The awesome and horrific footage of the Japanese earthquake and tsunami a few years back is just but a finite picture of what will be on a global scale just before Christ returns to destroy the Anti Christ's remaining armies at Armageddon (Zech. 12:8-9; 14:2-4, Rev. 16:13-16)! Are you ready to stand in His HOLY AND RIGHTEOUS PRESENCE? The Big Picture and Heart of the Matter My friend, Almighty God is absolutely RIGHTEOUS and JUST in ALL that He does and allows (Gen. 18:25, Job 34:10, Psalm 119:160, Rom. 9:11, Rev. 15:3; 16:7; 19:2). We my friends are the ones who are in the wrong (Rom.3:23)! We are the ones who have violated and transgressed Almighty God's ETERNAL laws and moral absolutes (Isa. 24:5-6, Rom. 3:23; 6:23)! We are the ones who have created this delusional godless global world order which rejects and violently shuns the ETERNAL sovereignty and presence of Almighty God our Creator and substituted a lawless delusion to replace Him (Isa. 1:18; 55:6, Rom.1:18-32, 2 Thess. 2:10-12). The ETERNAL BIG picture is that we All must give an account to Almighty God's RIGHTEOUS Person (Rom. 10:2-4, Heb. 9:27, Rev. 20:11-15). This little fallen broken world is but a moment and must answer to ALL ETERNITY. This world is a stage for temporal mankind to display what he will do with the Person of Almighty God and His laws of nature and ETERNAL laws of RIGHTEOUSNESS. The absence of man's adherence to the ETERNAL laws of RIGHTEOUSNESS and moral absolutes have ravished this world's inhabitants since the fall in the Garden of Eden (Gen. 3-6). There is only ONE WAY out from mankind's destructive nature and depraved paths of fallen humanity (Rom. 7:24-25). That way is found ONLY in the Person of Almighty God's Son, the Lord Jesus Christ! "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name (Jesus) under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved" (Acts 4:12) "Who (Jesus) gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father" (Gal. 1:4) "Who (Jesus) delivered us from so great a death, and doth deliver: in whom we trust that he will yet deliver [us];" (2 Cor. 1:10) The ETERNAL EXPONENTIAL LOVE of Almighty God! Almighty God in His GREAT ETERNAL EXPONENTIAL LOVE towards mankind sent His Son to rescue us, not just from this fallen world and human nature but from the ETERNAL DAMNATION which is to come. My friend, I do not know how to say anything more wonderful than that! Will you trust the Lord today as your Savior? You will NEVER EVER EVER be the same! The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand! Nearing Midnight: Deeper Understanding of Deep State's Doings - Terry James - https://www.raptureready.com/category/nearing-midnight/ While the demonic activity blatantly bursts forth as the end of the age nears, there comes forth, in my view, sparks of God-revealed enlightenment. Such enlightenment flashed, I believe, in recent disclosures surrounding the 2016 presidential election. A major reason the unveiling is so obvious is that it involves what is considered the number-one signal by most who hold to the pre-Trib view of Bible prophecy. The matter is at the heart of the so-called Deep-State machinations as the internecine battle rages in this nation and worldwide. The global agenda, as we've seen numerous times in these commentaries, was dealt a stunning blow by the 2016 presidential election. Reverberations from that blow continue to quiver and shake like loosely congealed Jell-O. The globalists are in a rage, desperate to regain their geopolitical equilibrium. Bible prophecy foretells that they will, for a time, accomplish their satanically inspired goal. Britt Gillette has written perhaps the best piece I've read on the globalist madness. He writes, correctly, that we are in a time of backlash against the never-ending assault on national sovereignty. However, that assault bores full-speed ahead. Gillette indicates that the fact is that the youth of today-the Millennial generation-because of luciferian education (my term) will provide the overwhelming basis for the globalists ultimately accomplishing the satanic mission. Gillette gives the basis for his conclusion: The Millennials embrace: 1) Freedom of movement (open borders); 2) Climate change (Millennials' greatest fear); and 3) Global government (Millennials trust in strong, central government to provide largesse, the surveys show). Excerpts from Britt Gillette's commentary follow. Current voters may reject the globalist agenda, but according to several surveys, future voters don't. Globally, the Millennials (those born between 1981 and 1996) outnumber both the Baby Boomers and Generation X, and they believe the concept of being a citizen of a single country is outdated. To them, global citizenship is the way of the future... While recent political developments show a backlash against globalism, all they've done is slow the inevitable march toward global government. Why All This Matters So why should you care? You should care because we're on the cusp of a new era. Ever since the Tower of Babel, tribes and nation states have governed the world. Nations meant well-defined borders, language, and culture. Many people dreamed of global government, but that's all it was-a dream. Such a government would never work in reality. Local interests and values would triumph, and administering a global government would be an expensive, bureaucratic nightmare. But this generation is tearing down all the obstacles to global government. ("The Unhindered March Toward Globalism" By Britt Gillette, https://www.raptureready.com/2019/06/20/unhindered-march-toward-globalism-britt-gillette/ ) As promised, we'll look more closely at the very heart of the present insanity raging against President Donald Trump and all that seems rational. It is rage, most of all, against the God of Heaven, who mandated the founding of nations and borders in the first place, as seen, for example, in Genesis chapter 11. Generating mischief at this black heart is the entity that has become known as the Deep State. It is both a loosely knit entity that crosses all international lines and a tightly configured cabal that festers within the most secretive places within the top echelons of America's and Britain's intelligence services. The Deep State threatens the very foundation of constitutional America. These eloquently documented, written borders the Founding Fathers set up-under the guidance of Providence-must be removed in order to bring about the devil's desired platform-the platform from which he can launch his Antichrist regime. We get to the very nucleus of the Deep-State efforts through an excerpt of a recent news item. The story exposed, through the American Center for Law and Justice, how the Obama administration top official laid out a basis for doing harm to the incoming administration's ability to govern. The official, it appears, colluded with a 60 Minutes producer to set up the resistance to the Trump administration. Newly uncovered documents show that Samantha Power, ambassador to the United Nations under Barack Obama, while submitting 260 unmasking requests seeking surveillance information about the incoming president and his campaign, was simultaneously engaged in "a move to undermine the incoming administration."... [Power wrote to] Bill Owens, the Executive Editor of 60 Minutes: "We're still reeling here, as you might imagine. My mission to the UN is a cabinet agency under President Obama, but will be demoted to something very different in January. Notwithstanding this, Tuesday's results have given us an even greater sense of urgency to get our work done in our last few months. 70 good long days left!" The documentation shows, ACLJ said, the Obama administration "was fully engaged in attempts to do whatever they could to undermine the conservative agenda and the will of the American voters." ("Obama's Top U.N. Official Part of 'Hate Trump' Campaign" - WorldNet Daily, Thursday June 27, 2019) The real agenda of the so-called Deep State, for the most part unwittingly, is identical to that of Satan's agenda. It is a most profound effort by the fallen one as part of the Ephesians 6:12 struggle. At the center of that struggle-the globalist agenda-is the rabid desire to destroy God's chosen people, the Jews-Israel. As we proclaim constantly, the Bible presents the case that Israel is the number-one sign of where this generation stands on God's prophetic timeline. The news excerpt further exposes this agenda: [Samantha Power] also raised complaints in a email through an article headlined "Donald Trump isn't even president yet and he's already making waves at the U.N." Power complained about Trump's opposition to a U.N. proposal that Israel be sized down to its 1967 borders. ACLJ explained it earlier had expressed concern "the Obama administration was intentionally attempting to undermine the state of Israel through a cowardly act at the U.N. Now we know, they were at the same time displaying their utter disdain for the incoming president. (Ibid.) The key thing to take from this commentary is that God's primary action/purpose in seeing to it that the 2016 election came out as it did, rather than as experts predicted and hoped, was in defense of His chosen nation. It certainly is considered a miraculous turn of events by many-myself included. Those involved within Deep-State intrigues likely haven't a clue as to what really drives them. Perhaps I am naïve, thus underestimate Satan's dark, deluding, power to so obviously make manifest his agenda through such a humanistic consortium. It could be there are those of the human sort who fully know what they are about on Satan's behalf. Regardless, all indications are that things are shaping for the moment when Christ will withdraw restraint and the diabolist globalists -both human and supernatural, will get the one world order they seek. Thankfully, it will very soon be brought to an end by the returning King of all kings and Lord of all lords. You want to be a part of that returning heavenly army (Revelation 19:11). You don't want to be left behind to face what is now on the immediate, end-time horizon. Again, here's how you can become part of that returning, heavenly army and not be among those on earth who will suffer untold horrors: "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation" (Romans 10:9-10). Western security officials claim the Iranian initiative in Africa has been launched in response to the Trump administration's decision to withdraw from the controversial nuclear deal signed between Tehran and the world's leading powers in 2015. The objective of the African-based terror network, Western security officials say, is to establish a group of so-called "sleeper cells" that can be activated to attack Western targets if tensions between Iran and the West result in a serious escalation in hostilities. US, British, French and other Western bases in the region are the most likely targets for future terrorist attacks, and a number of Western governments are understood to have responded by ordering their military and diplomatic missions in the region to upgrade security arrangements. The discovery of the African network follows recent revelations of Iran's attempts to expand its terror network in Europe, as well as other parts of the globe including Latin America and the Middle East. Intelligence officials say the new terror network has been established on the orders of Qassem Suleimani, the head of the Quds Force, the elite section of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps that has responsibility for overseas operations. The Iranian cells are said to be active in a number of African countries including Sudan, Chad, Ghana, Niger, Gambia and the Central African Republic. As one senior Western security source recently told me, "Iran is setting up a new terrorist infrastructure in Africa with the aim of attacking Western targets. It is all part of Tehran's attempts to expand its terrorist operations across the globe." Intelligence officials say Iran has been working on the new terror network for the past three years since signing the nuclear deal on freezing its uranium enrichment activities with the US and other major world powers in 2015. The operation is being organised by Unit 400, a highly specialised section of the Quds Force which is run by Hamed Abdollahi, a veteran Revolutionary Guard officer who, in 2012, was designated by the US as supporting terrorist activity. Overall command of the African cell is said to be run by Ali Parhoon, another senior Iranian officer in Unit 400. Details of the terror cell's existence were uncovered following a series of arrests in Chad in April. Investigators found that Iran was behind the recruitment and training of men between the ages of 25-35 with the aim of committing terror attacks against Western targets on the continent. There are estimated to be around 300 militants who have been recruited by the Revolutionary Guard and have undergone rigorous training at Iranian-run training camps in Syria and Iraq. The last batch of recruits were trained at an Iranian base in the southern Iraqi city of Najaf. Iran's attempts to establish a new terror operation in Africa follow recent revelations that British security officials caught terrorists linked to Iran stockpiling tonnes of explosives on the outskirts of London. The British authorities believe this cell was also set up in 2015 after Iran signed the nuclear deal. Last month, The Jerusalem Post, quoting from an intelligence report from the German state of Hesse, claimed that Iran was one of the main state actors involved in espionage in Germany. It said Iran was involved in the illicit procurement of technology for weapons of mass destruction. The revelation that Iran is setting up a new terror network in Africa comes at a time of rising tensions between Washington and Tehran, and Iran's decision to resume work on enriching uranium, a key material in the production of nuclear weapons. Tehran also has been accused of stoking tensions in the Gulf after Revolutionary Guard commanders confirmed that they were responsible for shooting down a US military drone operating close to the Strait of Hormuz. In addition, Iran has been blamed for carrying out attacks on a number of oil tankers operating in the Gulf that were damaged by mines. Agbeti says, "Coup makers in Ghana belonged to one, part or all of the following categories of persons: disgruntled leaders, power-drunk individuals, stoogies fronting for organized criminals, over-ambitious adventurers, ex-heads of state with unfinished agendas, opposition members who have created a shadow government, die-hard individuals with sympathetic ears to foreign powers desirous of entrenching and superimposing their interests (or way of life) on a nation. Master minds, employing state oppression as an excuse, using mainstream mass media, institutions, and instigating groups of people to pour out into the streets to create well-organized mass revolts, easily paved the way for successful coups. These master minds belonged to shadow governments with hidden agendas." While the Mueller report did not specifically point to a coup in progress by the Democratic Party leadership, the deep state within the bowels of government, and Republicans who oppose President Donald Trump, there is no doubt of a blatant effort to overthrow a duly elected president. This ongoing coup attempt shows no signs of slowing despite the exonerations of the Mueller Special Counsel report. The news media, though partially repentant and at first admitting it got it wrong, today continues to cover the coup-makers in the Democratic Party as if they had some magical pixi-dust to undo what Mueller submitted and make real all their wildest hate-filled dreams of Trump. Christ said in Matthew 24:4, "Take heed that no man deceive you." Do not be deceived. Agbeti, says, "The whole probe thing looks like the well known tactics that coup makers employ: key accusation(s) they level against a ruling party happen to be the most feared practices they themselves are involved in and want to cover up. Once they accuse the ruling party of such practices, then the likelihood of being accused of the same practice is totally wiped out. With this approach, they never let the issue rest! That will be too dangerous for them!" Agbeti has reported on and studied coups and counter coups. He thinks America is looking into the face of an ongoing coup attempt by the Marxist left.
