Nothing in the Christian's life is happenstance. Being a writer and constantly researching, I have found myself having a desire to understand Kabbalah and the Jews who follow this mysticism. There is a website called "Chabad.org," and this is the one-stop shop for all things Kabbalah. I visit this site regularly, but I have never subscribed to it or left my name or email anywhere on it. However, recently I have been receiving emails from Chabad.org. A few days ago, I received an email from them telling me that I could ask the rabbi a question. They said that they have many rabbis, and if I asked a question, one would get back to me within 48 hours. Here is what I asked: Question: Do the Rabbis in Israel believe that Rebbe Schneerson will come alive again and that he is our Moshiach? And will the Noahide Laws be implemented in the future? The Rabbi's answer: "Shalom and thank you for your email to Chabad.org. I'm sure there are those in Israel who believe this, but this is not necessarily Chabad's stance here or in Israel. When Moshiach comes, the knowledge of G-d will be so pervasive, that all will want to do only what G-d wants. For a Jew, this means observing the 613 Mitzvot; for a non-Jew, this means the observance of the Seven Laws of the Children of Noah. Please don't hesitate to write back if I can be of any further help. Best wishes, Simcha Bart" Chabad.org I found it very interesting that this rabbi said: "When Moshiach comes, the knowledge of God will be so pervasive, that all would want to do only what God wants." My Mind Went Immediately to Antichrist The rabbi also said this: "For a Jew, this means observing the 613 Mitzvot; for a non-Jew, this means the observance of the Seven Laws of the Children of Noah." So, when Antichrist makes his appearance, the 613 Mitzvot (the WHOLE Law) will be once again observed by Jews. For the non-Jew (Gentiles), this means the observance of the Seven Laws of the Children of Noah (Noahide laws.) I would like to add this: The Jew goes back to strict observance of the Law; the Gentiles will be forced by Antichrist to observe the Noahide laws. Will the reader please allow me to say that this, by deduction, is an unspoken expectation by the rabbis that Christians believing that Jesus is the Messiah (Tribulation Saints) will be considered "Idol worshipers" because they believe in the Trinitarian Godhead? We know that there is but One God. However, our God has three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit; yet He is ONE GOD. But the rabbis see us as worshiping a different God. I believe that this is what will prompt Antichrist to hunt down "Trinitarian Christians" during the Great Tribulation and will slaughter them. From chabad.org The Noahide Laws. This is straight from the Chabad.org website: The 7 Noahide Laws: Universal Morality What Are the Seven Noahide Laws? The 7 Noahide Laws are rules that all of us must keep, regardless of who we are or from where we come. Without these seven things, it would be impossible for humanity to live together in harmony. 1. Do not profane G-d's Oneness in any way. Acknowledge that there is a single G-d who cares about what we are doing and desires that we take care of His world. 2. Do not curse your Creator. No matter how angry you may be, do not take it out verbally against your Creator. 3. Do not murder. The value of human life cannot be measured. To destroy a single human life is to destroy the entire world-because, for that person, the world has ceased to exist. It follows that by sustaining a single human life, you are sustaining an entire universe. 4. Do not eat a limb of a living animal. Respect the life of all G-d's creatures. As intelligent beings, we have a duty not to cause undue pain to other creatures. 5. Do not steal. Whatever benefits you receive in this world, make sure that none of them are at the unfair expense of someone else. 6. Harness and channel the human libido. Incest, adultery, rape and homosexual relations are forbidden. The family unit is the foundation of human society. Sexuality is the fountain of life and so nothing is more holy than the sexual act. So, too, when abused, nothing can be more debasing and destructive to the human being. 7. Establish courts of law and ensure justice in our world. With every small act of justice, we are restoring harmony to our world, synchronizing it with a supernal order. That is why we must keep the laws established by our government for the country's stability and harmony. These laws were communicated by G-d to Adam and Noah, ancestors of all human beings. That is what makes these rules universal, for all times, places and people. Laws made by humans may change according to circumstance. But laws made by the Creator of all souls over all of time remain the same for all people at all times. If we would fulfill these laws just because they make sense to us, then we would change them, according to our convenience. We would be our own god. But when we understand that they are the laws of a supreme G-d, we understand that they cannot be changed, just as He does not change. Why Are the Noahide Laws Especially Important Today? Today, we are on the verge of a new era for humankind, a time when we will finally live together in peace, and the world will be filled with divine wisdom. Those who keep these basic rules will have a share in that world, since, after all, they took part in making it possible. Although these teachings were recorded in the sacred Jewish texts, for many centuries Jews were not able to speak about them to the people they lived amongst. But in recent times, the foremost rabbi of the Jewish people in the 20th century, Rabbi Menachem M. Schneerson, of righteous memory, encouraged Jews to publicize these teachings, so that the world can prepare for the times of peace and wisdom that are swiftly approaching. Why Are They Called the Noahide Laws? These are called the Noahide Laws because they are the heritage of humanity from our oldest ancestors. Since all humanity are descendants of Noah, who survived the Great Flood, all people today are Noahides. Jewish tradition tells that six of these laws were given to the first human being, Adam. A seventh law, the prohibition against eating the limb of a living animal, was given to Noah when humankind was permitted to consume meat. More Noahide Laws These seven principles are general ones. Many other teachings, all intuitive to the upright human mind, branch out from these. These include the practice of charity and acts of kindness, honoring and respecting parents, prayer to G-d and contemplation of His wisdom and greatness. This also means not acting recklessly towards the magnificent creation that has been entrusted to our stewardship. Who Keeps the Noahide Laws? Nobody needs to convert or join a particular church or temple to keep these principles and laws. But it is important to keep them because this is what the supreme G-d wants of every one of us, and not only because they are wise and good laws. Anyone who keeps these basic rules for that reason-regardless of race, nationality or culture-is considered a righteous person and granted eternal life upon leaving this world. Brethren, did you see the first of the seven Noahide Laws? Let me post it again; and please let this sink in: 1. Do not profane G-d's Oneness in any way. In a previous ruling, the 8th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals said the Establishment Clause of the Constitution doesn't force the government to purge itself from all religious reflection. "Precluding general references to God would do exactly that," the federal appeals court ruled. In Canada, the government has been more than willing to communicate politically correct progressive messages by means of what is being called the "Gay Loonie". Canada's gold-colored $1 coin is affectionately called the "Loonie" from the Loon bird that adorns its cover design. However, the Canadian mint has now released a commemorative Loonie to mark the 50th anniversary of the decriminalization of gay sex in Canada. Perhaps recognizing the challenge of how to memorialize legal sodomy on a coin, the Mint opted to celebrate this milestone with a more coy "stylized rendering of two overlapping human faces . . . the two faces will form one whole face in front view composed of two eyes with eyebrows, a nose, a mouth and two ears with a small hoop earring on the left ear." There are also rays emanating from the men that give the image a "holy aura". No doubt, we are to assume they are rainbow rays. Conservative Canadian Christians have called the new coin a highly offensive attack against God, and protests were previously set up at the Canadian Mint in Ottawa to try to stop its introduction. The protesters argue "the politicization of our coinage and the aggressive push of the LGBT agenda on all Canadians needs to stop". Such political messages on currency remind us of the passages in Revelation 13 which warn us that one day currency and the ability to conduct commerce will be directly related to both religion and politics. Whereas there is a lot of debate about the technology that will be behind the "mark of the beast" such as digital currency, microchip implants, etc., the clear message of Revelation is that this mark is a merging of commerce, religion, and politics. Only those who worship the Antichrist will get the mark and only those with the mark will be able to buy or sell. There has been growing concern in the Conservative and Christian community over the potential for blacklisting by the financial community. Similar to how Facebook, YouTube and Twitter have taken to banning organizations that disagree with their left-leaning policies, we now have credit card services, banks and other financial services under pressure to do the same. Although MasterCard's board says it is committed to the principle of allowing "all lawful purchases," online payments platform Patreon says that MasterCard asked it to withdraw service from Islam critic Robert Spencer, founder of JihadWatch.org, in August 2018. Mastercard also pressured a payment processor to cut off service to the conservative activist and think tank founder/author David Horowitz. Although this action took place last year, the processor later reinstated service following pressure from Breitbart News and other conservative media. Imagine that you are a store merchant who relies on credit card processing but MasterCard and Visa decline your account for promoting "hate". Without the ability to process credit cards, you would be out of business overnight. Or your personal PayPal account is shut down for doing business with organizations that PayPal rules to be "extremist". Realize that the CEO of PayPal has revealed the multi-billion dollar service partners with the leftist organization Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) to decide who should be blacklisted from their company. Using "company corporate values" as their defense, PayPal has taken intentional steps to deny access to conservatives. This is a big concern for Christians because the SPLC has taken an anti-Christian slant in recent years, targeting groups like James Kennedy Ministries and the Family Research Council just because they hold Biblical views about sexuality and life. Such irony! They argue "values" as their defense, all the while denying conservative Christians the same "values" argument. Crowdfunding services such as GoFundMe have already shown how easy it is to shut down those they disagree with when they closed the account of Christian Rugby player Israel Folau who was raising funds to fight his legal battle with Rugby Australia, having been fired for criticizing homosexuality on Instagram. Folau's campaign had raised more than $750,000 from several thousand donors before the site closed the account and refunded all donations. With Facebook now looking at introducing its own digital currency, the Libra... Imagine if the use of such currency were directly linked to your Facebook profile. If Facebook will ban your posts critical of homosexuality or abortion, will they also ban your ability to use their instrument of commerce? In other words, you could be restricted in your ability to use this currency based on your religious or political views. The interesting thing about Facebook's new currency is that unlike Bitcoin, which is an open system, Libra is closed and will be highly gate-kept. Facebook announced the currency in partnership with 27 other major corporations, firms, and non-profits, including Visa, MasterCard, Spotify, Lyft, Uber and eBay. These Founding Members make up the Libra Association, which will be in charge of processing transactions for the network and maintaining its version of the blockchain. By the coin's tentative launch in 2020, the project hopes to expand to roughly 100 members. So, bear in mind: this is not just Facebook but a conglomerate of some of the biggest players in the world, essentially launching its own entirely new monetary system controlled by corporations instead of the government. This is a very significant development, not unlike China's Social Credit System that monitors and punishes citizens who do not 'toe the line'. A centralized network like Libra loses all of the features we associate with cryptocurrencies. The Association will be able to blacklist users they don't want to serve, they will be able to rollback transactions they don't like, and like a bank, they will have total access to all your financial information: who you paid, when you paid, why you paid, and how much you paid. Given Facebook's reputation for mismanaging user data and its flippant approach to privacy, an understandable concern from the community and even lawmakers has been, "Can we trust Facebook with our money and its related data?" Many of us can live without Facebook but few of us could live without our credit cards for a week. Thus far, Mastercard, Visa and most banks have not given into the blacklist pressure, but it is just getting started. An extreme event may be just the catalyst needed to move them to take more drastic action. In fact, following the Hegelian dialectic, they just might provoke that 'extreme event' themselves. With respect to world religions, only Christianity is being challenged legally. Only Christians and the one true God are being marginalized. Only Christians and the one true God are being isolated. We should expect to see a 'change-up' in these legal challenges in the not-too-distant future as Satan inspires the next step in his tripartite assault: elimination. The elimination of God will effectively be accomplished simply by changing the definition of God, followed by changing His identity. Bible believers know this to be the case as we are plainly forewarned: "Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there shall come an apostasy first, and that man of lawlessness be revealed, the son of perdition; who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God, or that is worshiped; so that he, as God, sits in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God." (II Thessalonians 2.3, 4) Psalm 2 anticipates our present circumstances: "The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers (of industry?) take counsel together, against the LORD, and against His Anointed (His Christ) saying, 'Let us burst their bonds apart and cast away their cords from us'." (Psalm 2.2, 3) So long as it is in the world, the Church is a restraining force in society. It is these "bonds and cords" that provoke the antagonism of the world, not simply because of their restraint, but because of He Who has ordained them, "the Lord's Anointed". For those lacking discernment, those who fail to see the 'change-up' that is to come, they're going to be 'fanned'; their reaction will be a 'swing and a miss'. The prophetic merging of commerce, religion and politics is happening slowly and subtly, but surely. The prophet Habakkuk states it like this: "For still the vision awaits its appointed time; but at the end it shall speak and not lie. If it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come and will not delay." (Habakkuk 2.3) These societal changes could prove to be some of the most dangerous and prophetic developments of 2019. Nearing Midnight: Orwellians Waging War - Terry James - https://www.raptureready.com/category/nearing-midnight/ Perhaps it is misnomer to call those principalities and powers, both human and otherworldly, "Orwellian." Certainly, it is unfair to George Orwell, the author of the dystopian novel 1984 to link him in such a way to things taking place in these closing days of the age. He was determined, even while suffering severely debilitating illness, to forewarn of dark, evil forces capable of enslaving mankind. "Orwellian," however, is exactly a term that best encapsulates the technologies and their applications assaulting this generation. Citizens of the United States today are almost as closely watched as the people of Orwell's fictional dictatorships or the people of present-day Britain. One can't move around while shopping or for other purposes without being caught on cameras that stare down from a number of vantage points. It is fascinating to watch documentaries featuring policing agencies as they investigate crimes. They use surveillance cameras to study the forensic evidence, putting together increments of time with various locations to retrace criminals engaged in murders or whatever. I long ago wrote a novel about how such a society would develop, leading up to the Rapture and beyond. While Jacob's Trouble 666 (CLICK HERE) might have been considered "far out there" when I wrote it way back there, it probably would seem behind the times to today's readers. The same with the novelistic endeavors of George Orwell, Aldous Huxley (Brave New World), and others who have written in the dystopian genre prior to the developments we see all around us today. As it's said: Life imitates art. The imagination has turned into reality and has gone far beyond. We are witnessing what most surely will eventuate in the Antichrist system of control being implemented in the not-too-distant future. Recently, a friend sent me an article he thought was the best he had read on what's happening with regard to surveillance in these last of the last days. I agree that it is an outstanding piece, covering in depth the many aspects of an Orwellian world in the making. I recommend that you read it. The writer says, in part, the following: We have arrived, way ahead of schedule, into the dystopian future dreamed up by not only Orwell but also such fiction writers as Aldous Huxley, Margaret Atwood and Philip K. Dick. "If liberty means anything at all, it means the right to tell people what they do not want to hear." - George Orwell... What once seemed futuristic no longer occupies the realm of science fiction. Incredibly, as the various nascent technologies employed and shared by the government and corporations alike-facial recognition, iris scanners, massive databases, behavior prediction software, and so on-are incorporated into a complex, interwoven cyber network aimed at tracking our movements, predicting our thoughts and controlling our behavior, the dystopian visions of past writers is fast becoming our reality. Our world is characterized by widespread surveillance, behavior prediction technologies, data mining, fusion centers, driverless cars, voice-controlled homes, facial recognition systems, cybugs and drones, and predictive policing (pre-crime) aimed at capturing would-be criminals before they can do any damage. Surveillance cameras are everywhere. Government agents listen in on our telephone calls and read our emails. Political correctness-a philosophy that discourages diversity-has become a guiding principle of modern society... We are increasingly ruled by multi-corporations wedded to the police state. What many fail to realize is that the government is not operating alone. It cannot. The government requires an accomplice. Thus, the increasingly complex security needs of the massive federal government, especially in the areas of defense, surveillance and data management, have been met within the corporate sector, which has shown itself to be a powerful ally that both depends on and feeds the growth of governmental overreach. In fact, Big Tech wedded to Big Government has become Big Brother, and we are now ruled by the Corporate Elite whose tentacles have spread worldwide. They have used technology and clandestine shenanigans in their high places to try to pull off a coup d'état because of election results they could not abide. Their efforts have not abated, nor will they as we progress toward the presidential election of 2020. As pointed out a number of times, we are in the Ephesians 6:12 battle not only for the U.S. presidency and governmental control, but for the very souls of men, women, and children. The technological march to electronically enslave all of mankind proceeds at a level forewarned by the prophet Daniel (Daniel 12:4). It will all come to culmination in the marks-and-numbering system of Revelation 13:16-18. The Orwellians are waging war indeed! It means we are nearing the midnight hour of human history. The Lord is restraining these who are in an insane rage. They will ultimately pay the price for their rebellion. The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying, Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision. (Psalms 2:2-4) Daniel's Astounding Prophecies, Part 2 - By Hal Lindsey - https://www.hallindsey.com/ww-7-16-2019/ I said last week that the interpretation Jesus gave to the Book of Daniel would take your breath away. His method of interpretation was, in short, to take Daniel at face value. Why is that breathtaking? Let's look at it. Modern critics say that the book was written by an unknown person or group of people around 165 BC. Jesus said Daniel wrote the Book of Daniel (Matthew 24:15). If Daniel wrote it, that puts the date back to where the book itself claims to have been written - around 540 BC. Critics say it was written around the time of Antiochus Epiphanes. That's the mad king who famously defiled the Temple in an attempt to humiliate the Jews and end the worship of Jehovah. They claim that the Book of Daniel's description of the "abomination of desolation" refers to this event. They say it was not prophetic, but had already happened. And so, they date the book to that time. But according to Jesus, Antiochus did not fulfill Daniel's prophecy of the "abomination of desolation" (Daniel 11:31 and 12:11). He said it would be in the future. During His famous discourse on the Second Coming, Jesus said in Matthew 24, "Therefore when you see the abomination of desolation which was spoken of through Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place... let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains; let him who is on the housetop not go down to get the things out that are in his house; and let him who is in the field not turn back to get his cloak.... for then there will be a great tribulation, such as has not occurred since the beginning of the world until now, nor ever shall." Daniel said that the abomination of desolation would take place at the mid-point of the 70th week. Last week I talked about the 70 weeks of years prophesied by Daniel. Here's that prophecy from Daniel 9:25-26. "You are to know and discern that from the issuing of a decree to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until Messiah the Prince there will be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks; it will be built again, with plaza and moat, even in times of distress. Then after the sixty-two weeks the Messiah will be cut off and have nothing, and the people of the prince who is to come will destroy the city and the sanctuary." Seven weeks of years plus 62 makes 69 - at total of 483 years. Messiah Jesus presented Himself to Israel 483 years to the day after the decree went out to restore Jerusalem. Those 483 years happened consecutively. But there is a pause between the first 69 weeks of years and the 70th. The pause was not added later by Bible teachers trying to make things fit. Rather, the pause was written into the prophecy itself. The prophecy tells us exactly when the 69 weeks end and when the last one begins. Verse 27 says that the last seven years would be initiated when the coming prince makes a covenant (or treaty) with Israel. From other scripture, we know that the covenant will seem to bring peace to the Middle East and the world. In the New Testament we learn another title for "the prince who is to come" - Antichrist. The prophecy requires a gap between the end of the 69th week when Messiah presents Himself to Israel and the beginning of the 70th when Antichrist makes his covenant with Israel. Between those events, "Messiah will be cut off," meaning killed. Jesus presented Himself as Messiah on Palm Sunday which was the end of the 69th week. A few days later, He was crucified. The other event that must take place in the pause is that "the people of the prince who is to come will destroy the city and the sanctuary." That happened in 70 AD. That's one of the verses that lets us know that the Antichrist will be part of a revived Roman Empire. The "people" who sacked Jerusalem in 70 AD were the Romans. The pause continues today. In it, God has granted the world a reprieve from the days of judgment and wrath promised for the 70th week. That reprieve will not last forever. The Bible teaches a great deal about the 70th week, and the world is clearly poised to fulfill the events of that time. The Rapture will take place before Daniel's 70th week. So, it must be extremely soon. This is the time to be more zealous than ever to tell everyone the Good News of salvation in Jesus. President Donald Trump tweeted that Democratic Congresswomen Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (NY), Ilhan Omar (MN), Rashida Tlaib (MI) and Ayanna Pressley (MA) hated the United States and Israel and should leave the country if they are not happy here. Trump also said they could go back where they came from, although the media points out that only one is from a country other than the US. Trump picked a fight with the Marxists. Trump said, "These are people that hate our country, They hate it, I think, with a passion. Now it's possible I'm wrong. The voter will decide. But when I hear the way they talk about our country - when I hear the anti-Semitic language they use, when I hear the hatred they have for Israel - and the love they have for enemies like al Qaeda - then you know what? I will tell you that I do not believe this is good for the Democrat Party."Trump did not refer to or demean these congresswomen's gender or race in his tweets. He most certainly could have used different words, and have checked his facts about their countries of origin, but at the end of the day, his point was that these Congresswomen did not love America. Notwithstanding, these congresswomen held a news conference. They did not deny that they hated America and Israel, but they labeled Trump a "blatant racist." And the news media is backing them. This underscores the Marxist doctrine of twisting words, ignoring the charges, and accusing others to advance the agenda. Because all four of these US Representatives are women of color, and Trump called them out on their remarks against America and Israel-which have been many-they characterize him as a racist. If you disagree with someone on what they say or do or believe, you risk being labeled. This is the lowest common denominator of modern politics. It's a textbook page from Marxist and Fascist propaganda. NBC reports that Omar said in the news conference, "This is the agenda of white nationalists, whether it is happening in chat rooms or happening in national TV. And now it's reached the White House garden." So every time Trump opens his mouth about the hateful remarks of Omar regarding Israel, it is the white nationalist agenda? Isn't what she said in of itself a bigoted remark? This is so ridiculous that there is no opportunity for civil debate on how to solve the nation's problems. There is no safe place for respectful dialogue. Its scorched earth lunacy. As is written in Isaiah 5:20, "Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!" I'm glad that when we go through fiery trials as believers, God doesn't get distracted, forget about us, and leave us there. David wrote in Psalm 23, "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for You are with me" (verse 4). We must remember to cast our problems on the Lord, turning them over to Him in times of need. When the people were griping and complaining about Moses, the Bible tells us that Moses cried out to the Lord. When Hezekiah received an intimidating letter from a king who was threatening to destroy him, he spread the letter out before the Lord. When Mary and Martha saw that their beloved brother Lazarus was sick, they sent word to the Lord. When trouble comes your way, cast it on Him. Spread it out before Him. Call on Him. As the Scriptures say, "Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you" (1 Peter 5:7). Most of us would like to avoid the valleys of life, so to speak, but there are some lessons we learn there that we cannot learn anywhere else. God doesn't promise to keep us out of all trouble. But He does promise to be with us in the midst of it. It's a great thing to know that when the Lord lets His children go through a fiery trial, He always keeps an eye on them and an eye on the thermostat.
