Throughout the gospels the Lord Jesus Christ prophesied about His Second Coming several times and He said that those days would be like it was in the days of Noah and also as it was in the days of Lot. In Luke chapter 17 it is recorded that the Pharisees had asked Him when the kingdom of God would come and He told them that the kingdom of God does not come with observation but that the kingdom of God is within you (Luke 17:20-21). But then He turned to His disciples and gave them a much more extended description about what to look for when He is about to return. Picking up in verse 28, He said: Likewise as it was also in the days of Lot, they ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built; but on the day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all. Even so will it be in the day when the Son of Man is revealed. In that day, he who is on the housetop, and his goods are in the house, let him not come down to take them away. And likewise the one who is in the field, let him not turn back. Remember Lot's wife. Whoever seeks to save his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life will preserve it" (Luke 17:28-33). Many have mistakenly taken this passage to assume that the Lord was using this comparison as a description of the Rapture based on the next few verses, which say: "I tell you, in that night there will be two men in one bed: the one will be taken and the other will be left. Two women will be grinding together: the one will be taken and the other left. Two men will be in the field: the one will be taken and the other left" (Luke 17:34-36). While those verses sound very much like a description of the results of the Rapture, the next verse describes where those people went that were "taken" proving that this isn't talking about the Rapture. The disciples ask Him, 'Where Lord?' And He answered: 'Wherever the body is, there the eagles will be gathered together'" (Luke 17:37). It is obvious that those that were "taken" were taken to be slaughtered when the Antichrist comes into the Holy Land after the mid-point of Daniel's 70th Week (Matthew 24:15-20; Zechariah 14:2; Daniel 7:21; 11:41). This is a description of an arrest, not a Rapture. Even though the context of this passage is not describing the Rapture of the Church, there is still a warning that Jesus proclaimed that can be applied to the Church today, and that is when He said, "Remember Lot's wife" in verse 32. In fact, a single verse is assigned to just that warning! In the context of that statement, Jesus was warning the Jews not to turn back for anything in their homes when the Antichrist forces invade Jerusalem as Lot's wife had stopped to look back at her hometown that the Lord was about to destroy with fire and brimstone causing her to turn to a pillar of salt due to her disobedience. Since Lot had obeyed the angel's orders to not look back, it is quite likely that Lot's wife was lagging far behind Lot without him knowing it due to her reluctance to leave her hometown. She may have even considered turning and going back at the moment that she was turned to salt. The Hebrew word used in Genesis 19:26 for "look" is "nabat" (Strong's # H5027) and can have an alternate meaning of "to show regard". This may very well reveal Lot's wife's true mindset of her desire to "look" back. She had regarded her old life more than the next life that the Lord was leading them to. For the Christians living in the current Church Age, this same warning can be heeded as to not be so attached to this world that we are not looking for the Blessed Hope of His soon appearing for His bride (Titus 2:12-13). This especially applies to the Church since the New Testament tells us that this world is not our home (Hebrews 13:14), and that we are only sojourners passing through this world (1 Peter 2:11), and that our citizenship is in heaven (Philippians 3:20). Part of becoming a born-again Christian is realizing that we are not of this world and that our lives are a temporary assignment mission as ambassadors of Christ (2 Corinthians 5:20). The first epistle of John warns us that this world is passing away, but he who does the will of God abides forever (1 John 2:17). In the same passage we are warned not to love the world: "Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world - the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life - is not of the Father but is of the world" (1 John 2:15-16). It could very well be that Lot's wife had loved her hometown of Sodom so much that she could not let it go and disregarded the angel's warning to not look back (Genesis 19:17). The real sad part is that her hometown of Sodom was about the most evil territory on the planet at that time. One would have to wonder what was so intriguing that she would want to stay or go back? It could have been that their sons-in-law had ignored the warning to leave and decided to stay (Genesis 19:14). This in itself is an example of the family division that can commonly occur when the Word of God is not taken seriously among family members and also demonstrates how important it is that we witness to our loved ones about the saving grace of the gospel of Christ while there is still time. "How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?" (Romans 10:14). Many of us have taken the steps to witness to our loved ones but they still do not want to listen or believe and sometimes we are even mocked by our own family members. It is interesting to note that the angels took Lot and his family "by their hands" to escort them out of the city, except for their sons-in-law. This is because they had mocked the warning that the angels had given, so the angels gave them what they wanted, and that was to stay! In Luke 17:28-30, Jesus said that it will be like the days of Lot when the Son of Man is revealed. He is speaking about the conditions of the world. The city of Sodom was plagued with sodomy, hence where the word gets its name. Homosexuality is running like wildfire throughout our present world today and has even been used to redefine marriage right here in our own country. I don't think our world could be anymore as it was in the day of Lot than it is right now! When Lot's wife looked back unto Sodom her heart was still attached to the people and things that remained there, even though she had physically left the city and was on her way to safety and refuge from the coming wrath. How many Christians today have this same heart problem? They have their ticket to heaven by trusting in Christ but yet they still cling to the many things of this world that are not of God, or they are complacent with the things that God opposes! "Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy with God" (James 4:4). The wrath of God is approaching this world like a speeding freight train yet the majority of the world is so engaged in their lustful pleasures that not only do they not see it coming but they have no remorse in their sinful lifestyles whatsoever. Homosexuality is being flaunted and celebrated on a global basis and sadly even many Christian organizations are in support of it. They are focused on their flesh and not their eternal souls. The Word of God admonishes us to walk in the Spirit to combat the lusts of the flesh: I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lusts of the flesh. For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things you wish" (Galatians 5:16-17). "But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts" (Romans 13:14). Whether it be homosexuality or any form of fleshly lust, if we are truly following Christ we certainly are not going to condone any sin of the flesh, let alone gloat in it as so many people are now doing in LGBT community, hence the term "gay pride!" We are all born with sinful desires of all sorts and they all need to be combated on a daily basis. That can only be done with prayer and obedience to the Word of God. To praise homosexuality the way that it is being praised is to be at enmity with God. God loves the sinner but hates the sin. Sin is what separated humanity from God and Jesus Christ sacrificed His life on a Roman cross so that we could be reconciled back to God. When we profess to accept His payment for our sin, there is no room for compromise for any sin that may be in our lives and any sexual activity outside of a man and a woman in holy matrimony is sin. Period! Our Lord's warning in Luke 17:32 is an instruction for us to never look back or turn back from our profession of true faith that we have made and to follow Christ and abide by His truths and ordinances. "No one, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God" (Luke 9:62). Lot's wife may have also regretted having being made to leave her hometown. It has been surmised that Lot's wife may have likely been a native of the city of Sodom since Lot did not have a wife when he left Abraham to go settle there (Genesis 13:8-12). Her allegiance was to her hometown more than it was to the Lord or even her husband! This is also an example of the error and the cost of being unequally yoked (2 Corinthians 6:14). Many have wondered why Lot's wife was turned to salt. There are physical reasons as well as symbolic reasons and the Bible provides both. Lot's wife was likely lagging so far behind Lot and their daughters that some of the effects of the city's destruction may very well have affected her. Deuteronomy 29:23 graphically describes brimstone and salt as being an after-effect upon the land of Sodom and Gomorrah after He inflicted His wrath upon it. So it doesn't seem as though Lot's wife traveled very far after leaving the gates of the city. As for the symbolic aspect of her turning to salt, Lot's wife was left behind after Lot had made it to the city of Zoar where the angels told them to go for safety. The angels also clarified that they could not do anything until they got there (Genesis 19:22). In the New Testament Jesus declared that the church is the salt of the earth. "You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled by men" (Matthew 5:13). Salt is a flavor enhancer and a preservative. The Church's role in this dispensation is to enhance the world around us with the Good News of Jesus Christ and help to get new believers preserved for that Day of redemption. When this current Age of Grace ends there will be many people left behind that were "lukewarm" in their acceptance of Jesus Christ as their Savior that will finally realize that He is who He says He is and that the Bible is all truth. Some will perish while some will immediately convert and become believers. Those Tribulation saints will then have to be the salt of the earth after the Church has reached its destination of safety via the Rapture! In that context, Lot's wife may be representative of people that profess to be Christians but their hearts are still tethered to this world and they have not truly surrendered themselves to Christ. The Lord was merciful to Lot's family and Lot's wife had rejected that grace when she regarded her hometown of Sodom above the Lord's mercy and grace. I'd like to point out that just after Jesus said to remember Lot's wife in Luke 17:32, He then said, "Whoever seeks to save his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life will preserve it" (Luke 17:33). This is the same statement He used when He declared that a man has no profit if he was to even gain the whole world: "For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?" (Matthew 16:25-26) This same exact admonishment is given in three out of the four gospels! The other two are found in Luke 9:24-25 and in Mark 8:35-37. It certainly seems as though the Lord wanted this warning to be emphasized for it to be repeated so many times. There is one last thing I'd like to point out about Lot's wife that is not only relative to the Church but also to the Pre-Tribulation Rapture. Many people that hold to a Mid or Post-Tribulation view, declare that the Lord will protect and preserve the Church through the Tribulation period leaving them unharmed from His wrath. However, Lot's wife was not even allowed to "look" at it let alone be preserved through it, so why would the Church, who have been made righteous through Christ, be allowed to even see it? The worldwide cataclysmic events that are going to take place during the Tribulation period are going to be impossible to not see as Christians are scattered all over the world. Not only that, but how many Christians would be tempted to revel and cheer at the destruction of the many ungodly organizations and enemies of Christ? But the Lord told us not to revel at our enemies demise (Proverbs 24:17 and that we are to pray for our enemies (Matthew 5:44). If you are a Christian reading this and you think that the Church is going to have to endure the inescapable horrors of the Tribulation period, I'd like to remind you to remember Lot's wife! The overall message here for Christians today is that we should never place anything above the Lord and the grace and mercy that He has given us through His Son Jesus Christ. There is nothing in this world worth looking back at when He has given us so much to look forward to and our faith in that should be our driving force to abstain from all worldly lusts. "Now the just shall live by faith; but if anyone draws back, My soul has no pleasure in him. But we are not of those who draw back to perdition, but of those who believe to the saving of the soul" (Hebrews 10:38-39).

"Even them will I bring to My holy mountain, and make them joyful in My house of prayer; their burnt-offerings and their sacrifices shall be acceptable upon Mine altar; for My house shall be called a house of prayer for all peoples." Isaiah 56:7 (The Israel Bible™) Since the month of July, 2016 began, Israel appears to be experiencing new energy around the Temple Mount. The funeral for 13 year-old Hallel Ariel who was stabbed to death as she lay in her bed in the Israeli city of Kiryat Arba, not far from the Biblical city of Hebron, took place on July 1. Hallel is the daughter of Rina Ariel, a well-known Temple activist and one of the founders of Women for the Mikdash (Temple). On Tuesday, July 12, just after Hallel's family completed the 7-day mourning period, her parents gathered hundreds of supporters to rename the one gate through which non-Muslims are allowed to enter the Temple Mount in memory of their slain daughter. Hallel's father recited a version of the Priestly Blessing when he ascended the Temple Mount that morning. In between these events, international Bible Code expert Rabbi Matityahu Glazerson released a new Bible Code video he called "Temple will come down to Jerusalem 5776 in bible code." At the 3:15 mark, Glazerson points to a Bible code that translates as "God will inform on the 15th of [the Hebrew month of] Av." This year, the 15th of Av corresponds to Friday, August 19. "We don't know exactly what it refers to," commented Glazerson, but the clear implication is that God will notify us about something important having to do with the Temple on the 15th of Av. What is the significance of the 15th of Av in the Hebrew calendar? Glazerson opens the 5-minute video with a quote from the 19th century Rabbi Zadok ha-Kohen of Lublin who wrote that "the 15th of [the Hebrew month of] Av is the time for building the Beit HaMikdash (the Holy Temple) since on that date the sin of the spies was." The spies Rabbi Zadok ha-Kohen was referring to were the group of 12 sent by Moses to scout out the Land of Israel prior to the Israelites' entry (Numbers 13). Of the dozen men sent to report on the land, ten of them returned with scathing criticisms of the Holy Land. Their speaking against Israel was an egregious sin which is marked each year on the 9th of Av with a day of mourning and a full 25-hour fast. The 9th of Av is also the anniversary of the destruction of the First and Second Temples and a host of other tragedies in Jewish history. As a result of the evil report delivered about the Land, that generation of adult men was sentenced to death. Each year during the 40 years in the desert, on the 9th of Av, a percentage of the men died. On the 15th of Av in the 40th year after leaving Egypt, the annual deaths ceased. To this day, the 15th of Av is a minor day of celebration in the Jewish calendar. Turning to the table at the 1:44 mark, Glazerson points to the code that means the Temple will descend. This is a reference to the idea, expressed in multiple Jewish sources, that the Third Temple will be brought down from Heaven. This code was found right next to the words Moshiach (Messiah) and Yerushalayim (Jerusalem). Nearby, Glazerson points to a clear reference to the current Hebrew year, which ends at nightfall on Sunday, October 2, 2016 ahead of the Jewish holiday Rosh Hashana. Attached to the date, Glazerson points out the code for "it will be shining". Answering the question, "What will be shining?", he identifies the word haShechinah. A difficult word to translate, haShechinah refers to dwelling of God's divine presence in this world. Throughout rabbinic literature, it is associated with the Tabernacle, the First Temple and the Third Temple, which are considered dwelling places for the Shechinah. To make the association between the Shechinah and the Temple even stronger, Glazerson points out the words mihahar (from the mountain). From which mountain will the Shechinah come? In answer to the question, the code for Moriah is right there. Mt. Moriah is the site where King Solomon built the First Temple. Then Shlomo began to build the house of Hashem at Yerushalayim in mount Moriah, where [Hashem] appeared unto David his father; for which provision had been made in the Place of David, in the threshingfloor of Ornan the Jebusite. 2 Chronicles 3:1 Moriah was also the place where the binding of Isaac took place. And He said: 'Take now thy son, thine only son, whom thou lovest, even Yitzchak, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt-offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of.' Genesis 22:2 As always, Glazerson is careful to conclude by clarifying that the appearance of the Temple on Mt. Moriah next month is conditional on the Godly behavior of the Jewish people. Bible codes are not meant to predict, but to indicate that certain times are auspicious, if the conditions are right.

Matthew 24:37 - But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Jesus tells us in the Gospel of Matthew that the conditions of humanity during the times of the end would be very similar to what they were in the time leading up to the catastrophic flood that filled the earth with water pronouncing God's judgment upon humanity for their grievous sins which according to the book of Genesis are described as "The wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually." - Genesis 6:5. The wickedness of men was so bad that even the lord regretted that he created them according to verse 6. When we read Genesis chapter 6 verse 11 we something very interesting! The bible says: The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. This word "Violence" in the Hebrew actually translates to the Hebrew word "khä·mäse" which is actually pronounced as "Hamas". which just happens to the name of sunni-islamic branch of Islam that is constantly attacking Israel in the Mideast. The results of all of these sins was a global judgment that would sweep the earth in the form of flooding and destroy humanity but sparing the righteous in the eyes of the Lord. Fast forward to 2016 and consequently we are seeing some very shocking parallels taking place in the Earth in this very hour! In 2015 We saw record flooding strike the US Midwest impacting over 12 million alone! And this year we have seen "Global Flooding" that has impacted millions around the planet stretching from the USA, Mexico, Russia, China, France, Germany, Belgium, Ukraine and Romania. The German Insurance Association estimated that this week's flooding has caused some $500m in damage in the state of Baden-Wuerttemberg alone. In France Thousands were evacuated as floods threatened homes and businesses across the Paris region. China experienced so much rainfall it caused a football stadium to flood so much the goalposts went under water resulting in it looking nothing more than a giant swimming pool, According to Reports a similar freak weather condition had not been seen for decades, and tens of thousands were evacuated from their homes. So we know that the Lord made a covenant with the Earth that he would never destroy it by a global deluge as he did once before and sealed this promise with the rainbow in the sky! However, I find it incredible that we are witnessing global record breaking flooding taking place more and more in these last couple of years. Secondly, The bible tells us that the wickedness of Men was evil continually and the thoughts of his heart were continually evil. Are we not witnessing this very thing today? Look at the news it is filled with violence and wickedness 24/7! We are witnessing horrific terror attacks nearly on a daily basis and stories that I can't even post here on our main website because the content is too graphic! I believe none of us can even debate this fact. Thirdly the Bible tells us in Genesis Chapter 6 that Angles that fell from Heaven began to have sexual relations with the women of the Earth producing "Hybrids" Half-Man, Half-Angels called "Giants" and their Hebrew names for these hybrids. So there was genetic mutations and gene mixing occurring during the closing hour of the judgment of God. Fast-Forward to 2016 and we are seeing the attempt to produce genetic hybrids continually from scientists. One example came from a recent story where scientists in the US have injected human stem cells into pig embryos to produce human-pig embryos known as chimeras. But, concern has already surfaced that playing God in this way could open the door to pig's developing with human intelligence and too much like us. Or how about the story of 130 scientists, entrepreneurs and policy leaders that held an invitation-only, closed-door meeting at Harvard University to discuss an ambitious plan to create synthetic human genomes. As we can see we are seeing this desire to produce a hybrid on the Earth once again. Now finally I will finish with this interesting observation that I have noticed over the last couple of years. If we are truly in the "Last Days" and the Lord is speaking in this hour and giving humanity it's final warning than wouldn't or should I say "Couldn't he use our modern day technology to speak to a hardened and stiff-necked generation? What better way to speak to this generation than through Holywood and the Media? For example have you noticed how many movies came out recently involving Noah and the Ark and recent discoveries made highlighting "Noah's Ark" - In 2007 the movie "Evan Almighty" was released in which in the plot, God contacts Congressman Evan Baxter and tells him to build an ark in preparation for a great flood. - In 2014 the movie "Noah"was released which depicted a man who is chosen by his world's creator to undertake a momentous mission before an apocalyptic flood cleanses the world. - On April 26th 2016 - USA Today reported how a massive replica of Noah's ark could travel from the Netherlands to Brazil this year. - May 2016 - Archaeologists say writings on an ancient tablet discovered confirm there was a global flood and an ark that carried animals. - July 13, 2016 - Rare Noah's Ark Mosaic Discovered at Ancient Israeli Synagogue - July 2016 - The $100 million, 510-foot-long Ark was built based on dimensions in the Bible and open to the public in Kentucky. The creator of this project said "People are going to come from all over the world," Ham said to thousands of people in front of the ark. Now this is either an interesting list of coincidences or the Lord is sounding the alarm to humanity in 2016! Are we in the "Days of Noah"? Are we about to see the final judgment come to earth once again but in the form of fire and not water? Remember friend Noah was mocked and ridiculed when he began to warn the masses of the coming judgment that was about to come to the Earth as a result of their wicked sins! And consequently enough a report came out recently that sent a chill up my spine. The report indicated that CBS Mocks 'Ignorant' Noah's Ark Attraction, Wonders Why It Was Built? Here is what the Bible tells us of Noah in response to the mocking and ridculing of is faith: Hebrews 11:7 - By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.

Does it not seem as though events are starting to accelerate significantly? Since I warned that something "had shifted" and that things had "suddenly become more serious", we have seen the worst mass shooting in U.S. history in Orlando, we have seen the massacre of five police officers in Dallas, we have seen the horrifying terror rampage in Nice, and now we have seen the brutal murder of three police officers in Baton Rouge. On Sunday morning, the peace and quiet in Baton Rouge were shattered when "dozens of shots" erupted less than one mile from police headquarters. By the end of it, 29-year-old Gavin Eugene Long had killed three officers and seriously wounded three others. It was a crime fueled by pure hatred, and Long specifically waited for his 29th birthday to launch the attack... The shooter who killed three law enforcement officers and wounded three others in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, on Sunday was a Missouri man who launched a deadly rampage on his 29th birthday, police sources said. Gavin Long, who was born on July 17, 1987, was the man who gunned down officers before he was killed in a gunbattle with other officers responding to the shootings. Two Baton Rouge police officers - ages 41 and 49 - died, said Police Chief Carl Dabadie. The gunman also killed a 45-year-old sheriff's deputy and critically wounded a 41-year-old deputy who is "fighting for his life," said East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff Sid Gautreaux. So what motivated Long to commit this horrible crime? Here is what the Daily Caller found... A Youtube account operated by Gavin Eugene Long and discovered by The Daily Caller reveals key insight into what might have motivated the 29-year-old black man who killed three Baton Rouge police officers Sunday morning. Videos on Long's account show that he was a former Nation of Islam member. He also ranted against "crackers" and made references to Alton Sterling, the black man killed by police in Baton Rouge on July 5. Did Long actually believe that gunning down innocent police officers would honor the memory of Alton Sterling? Sadly, it appears that there are a lot of other people out there that feel the exact same way that Long did. In fact, there were a number of people that were openly celebrating the shooting of police officers in Baton Rouge on Twitter and calling for more cops to be killed. This country is starting to come apart at the seams, and from now on it is going to be very, very dangerous to be a police officer in America. Perhaps you may not have heard of this yet, but there was actually another plot to kill police officers in Baton Rouge that was foiled ahead of time... Police in Baton Rouge were on high alert earlier this week after a gang - including boys aged just 12 and 13 - were arrested as they tried to steal handguns as part of a 'substantial, credible threat' to harm police officers in Baton Rouge. Authorities discovered the alleged plot while responding to a burglary at a pawn shop early on June 9. They arrested one suspect - Antonio Thomas, 17 - at the scene with a handgun and a BB gun. During questioning, Thomas said that he and three other suspects stole the firearms and 'were going to get bullets to shoot police,' authorities said. And another police officer was shot on Sunday in Milwaukee while he was just sitting in his squad car... A Milwaukee police officer was shot in a "vicious" attack early Sunday as he sat in his squad car while colleagues investigated a domestic disturbance call, an official said. The suspected shooter, identified by police as a 20-year-old West Allis man with two felonies on his record, was found dead in a nearby yard, they said. The incident began as a response to a domestic disturbance call near South 17th Street and West Morgan Avenue at about 2 a.m. During that investigation, someone fired shots into the squad car, striking an officer "multiple" times," Asst. Police Chief William Jessup said in a morning press conference. Can you imagine the stress that many police officers and their families are feeling these days? Could you imagine leaving home each day realizing that there is a huge target painted on your chest and that you might not make it home that night to see your family? I am sure that a lot of law enforcement officers are having some very serious family discussions these days. And I am sure that a lot of them are actually considering leaving law enforcement altogether. All it takes is a single bullet to change your life forever, and right now there are way too many people out there that want to harm anyone in a police uniform. I think that a recent piece by Scott G. Erickson put it very succinctly... What feelings must resonate within the patrolman who is responding to a call of domestic violence or simple larceny? Am I the next target? Is this really a routine call for service or is it an ambush? No longer can the patrolman simply worry about the reported crime itself but rather he or she must approach these events as though they are potentially walking into the next Dallas or Baton Rouge. And that is no way to function as a police officer. The stress, strain, and uncertainty would be unbearable. And it isn't just police officers that need to be concerned about the rising violence. The Republican National Convention is next week, and it could be a big, fat, juicy target for Islamic terrorists, police haters, or anyone else that is out to make some sort of huge statement. There are going to be thousands of people protecting the convention, but there are still concerns that something unexpected may happen... The sunny celebration butts uncomfortably against a massive security operation that shows the other side of Cleveland's big moment. City and U.S. officials are preparing for the worst, aware that tensions over race relations and police use of force, as well as reaction to Trump's polarizing campaign, could result in violence on the streets. Clevelanders are also aware of the backdrop for their convention: the mass shooting in Orlando that killed 50 people in June, the sniper attack that killed five Dallas police this month, and the truck assault that killed 84 this week in Nice. Let us hope and pray for safety in Cleveland, and let us hope and pray that tensions ease in major cities all over the nation. A dark and distressing time has descended upon the civilized world, and virtually everywhere you look anger and frustration are rising to very dangerous levels. We were warned that this might be a "summer of chaos", and so far that has definitely been the case. Let us hope that things start to cool off before events start to spiral completely out of control.

America is on edge. Racial tensions are rising and terrorism fears abound. Many fear we may be one trigger event away from pushing America into a state of Martial Law. It's a horrifying boiling-point scenario that no one of goodwill would want, irrespective of race or creed. However some observers and pundits are convinced that there are some very powerful people with influence in America and beyond who would like to see just such an outcome - simply because it would protect either their selfish personal interests or serve a wider and more sinister national or global agenda. One person suspected by some to fall into this category is none other than President Obama. In a recent article for Breitbart.com, Neil Munro alleged that President Obama is harnessing the increasing attacks on police -- and the periodic shootings of people by stressed cops -- to push his agenda to federalize state and local police forces. "I want to start moving on constructive actions that are actually going to make a difference," Obama said during his evening press conference in Poland when asked about the Dallas attack. Those actions, he said, would be based on the recommendations of the panel that he picked after the 2014 street riots in Ferguson, Missouri. The panel offered "practical concrete solutions that can reduce - if not eliminate - the problems of racial bias," Obama said. The panel's report urges the federal government to federalize police training and practices, via the use of federal lawsuits, grants and threats to cut federal aid. So far, Obama's deputies have reportedly cajoled and sued more than 30 police jurisdictions to adopt federal rules in a slow-motion creation of a national police system, similar to the slow-motion creation of a federal-run health-sector via Obamacare. Munro maintained that Obama also used the press conference to insulate his federalized police program - and his allies in the Black Live Matter movement -- from popular rejection after the five police were murdered by the anti-cop African-American in Dallas. "The danger is that we somehow think the act of a troubled person speaks to some larger political statement across the country - it doesn't," Obama insisted. "As painful as this week has been, I firmly believe that America is not as divided as some have suggested. Americans of all races and all backgrounds are rightly outraged by the inexcusable attacks on police ... that include protestors, it includes family members who have grave concerns about police conduct, and they've said that this is unacceptable, there is no division there," Obama added. Could he be right, or is he simply in denial? Perhaps the worst possibility is that there is indeed a deliberately contrived and systematic process geared towards provoking chaos and disorder in the United States, and even beyond. Just the make-believe stuff that conspiracy theorists warm up to for some attention- so nothing to lose sleep over, some might conclude. But there are some worrying signs that point to the possibility not being far-fetched or unrealistic. About three months back, Michael Snyder posed the question in his 'End Of The American Dream' blog: "Are We Being Psychologically Conditioned To Accept Martial Law In America?" Snyder observed the following trends worthy of note, and asks the reader to consider if it could all be accidental or coincidental rather than orchestrated and manipulated: " Americans starting to be bombarded images of troops in the streets " The term "martial law" coming up a lot in movies, news broadcasts and even in television commercials. " In recent years, it seems like the solution to almost every major crisis involves bringing in troops, such as in Ferguson in 2014 - protesters were whipped up into a frenzy and, when the riots began, the police were ordered to stand down and not intervene. Finally National Guard troops were brought in as the solution to a crisis that had escalated wildly out of control. " Snyder states that this is the exact same pattern that was witnessed during the Baltimore riots in April 2014 and charges that National Guard troops all over the nation have been training for this exact type of scenario. " These days the threat of civil unrest is causing an increasing number of Americans to embrace the idea of troops patrolling our city streets. " National Guard troops all over the nation have reported to be engaged in something called "civil unrest training" that includes gas mask training and practice with shields and batons. Snyder stated that there are so many instances in which "training" seems to eerily correspond with actual events. That is one of the reasons why so many people are concerned about Jade Helm and all of the other very elaborate military exercises that were being held around the country in 2015. The operation causing rampant suspicions was a new kind of exercise involving elite teams such as the SEALs and Green Berets from four military branches training over several states from mid-July to mid-September 2015. It was planned that about 1,200 special operations personnel would be involved and move covertly among the public. Military equipment would be used to travel between seven Southwestern states from Texas to California. So what exactly would the 'powers that be' stand to gain from triggering race riots and calling in the National Guard? Opinions abound. Some believe that there is a covert plot to extend Obama's presidency term over the mandatory two-term limit, and a sustained national crisis triggered before the November election would provide the perfect excuse for that. Yet others see a New World Order plan to trigger a financial crash to usher in a one world government and currency, starting with the United States and the death of the dollar. This would trigger chaos and anarchy as cash becomes useless, crime spirals out of control and desperate citizens demand food, water, and other essentials. Enter the National Guard fully conditioned by Jade Helm and perhaps other secretive preparations. Some believe that some natural disaster such as a meteorite or other space debris hurtling towards the earth unstoppably - or some major solar flare - is soon going to create unbearable conditions that will require massive crowd and security controls. The speculation is endless but whatever the case, tense race relations may have nothing to do with it at all just a useful trigger; the means to justify a desired end. Given the Obama doctrine, 'never let a crisis go to waste', is it not within the realm of possibility that such crises might be 'created' by sinister design? If any such plans are actually in the works, there are some dark and dangerous days ahead for America. Martial law could soon make "the land of the free, the home of the brave" one giant prison and a hell on earth indefinitely.

You would have to go back to the 1960s to find a time of greater racial strife in America. The killing of two black men and five white police officers are signs that our nation is unraveling. The center of the unrest is the belief that the police are purposely choosing to murder blacks. The sight of white police officers killing blacks looks disturbing because the media coverage is driven by an agenda. When a black man shoots a white cop, the press is silent. When a black man is killed by a cop, it's time for "Breaking News." Anyone doubting the orchestration of events need only observe the media's reaction to the Dallas shooting. In the ambush, five police officers were killed and seven others were wounded, making it the deadliest single incident for U.S. law enforcement since September 11, 2001. The murders should have been a major embarrassment to the liberal media, Black Lives Matters, and the Obama Administration. Instead the tragedy was used to further their agendas. The press gave the standard coverage they would give to any major tragedy. Two short days later, they went right back to where they were before the Dallas attack. The Sunday nightly newscasts led with narratives like this: "Anger grows over the shooting of two black men." I do not know how Obama can spend years as a racial strife arsonist, and then go down to Dallas and say, "We are not as divided as we seem." He should have spoken only about the evil of the shooter and the need to appreciate the daily sacrifice of all police officers. He hijacked the memorial by going after gun-rights and repeatedly defending the protesters. This is a pattern he has established after each tragedy involving blacks or Muslims. This war on law enforcement has had a devastating impact on the morale of local police forces. In most inner cities, cops are quitting in droves while murder rates soar. Officers are abandoning the Baltimore police force, and not many are applying to take their place. At the beginning of 2015, Baltimore had 2,805 officers on its police force. By the end of the year, though, the force had shrunk to 2,634 officers-a drop of 6.1 percent. That decline has only accelerated in 2016, with the force dropping to just 2,445 in June, a decrease of 6.8 percent from January. With fewer police on the streets, there is obviously going to be more crime. Murders in Baltimore surged a staggering 63 percent in 2015, with 344 people killed. The city's pace is somewhat slower this year, but still well above what it was just a few years ago. The city of Chicago has become infamous for its murder rate. During the Independence Day weekend, at least 64 people were shot. Before the holiday, the city officials tried to suppress the carnage by arresting 88 gang members. Homicides were up nearly 50 percent for the first half of 2016 compared to the same period last year. Chicago is on pace to record well over 600 homicides for the year; a bleak yardstick that was last surpassed in 2003. A key factor that is fueling the soaring murder rate is the refusal of blacks to help solve crimes. A detective stated: From patrol to investigation, it's almost an undoable job now. If I get out of my car, the guys get hostile right away and several people are taping (with cell phones). Bystanders tamper with crime scenes and aggressively interfere with investigations. Additional officers may be needed during an arrest to keep angry onlookers away. It's very dangerous out there now. The black community views the police as so dangerous they have "the talk" with their children. The odds of a black person being killed by another black person are roughly 100 times higher than the odds of them being killed by a member of law enforcement. With rampant irrational behavior taking over, the odds will soon be 200, 400 or 1000 times higher. By ignoring these stats the left has been essentially seeking the legalization of black and black crime. These horrendous black crime stats rarely make it to the nightly news. Obama never talks about blacks killing other blacks, and the Black Lives Matter thugs would be pleased to have their communities as "no go zones" for cops. I could predict that crime is going to leapfrog higher in the coming months, but that would be like predicting the sun is going to rise tomorrow morning. It's like trying to cure cancer by destroying a person's immune system. Once people wake-up and realize there is too much crime, they will learn that President Obama does have a (diabolical) answer to the problem. In March 2015, a report, titled "President's Task Force on 21st Century Policing Report," was published. It urges the federal government to federalize police training and practices, via the use of federal lawsuits, grants and threats to cut federal aid. Already, more than 30 police jurisdictions have been forced to adopt federal rules. If we were to have rioting in numerous cities, there would be cries for the creation of a national police system which would lead to more federal government control and the loss of more of our freedoms. God is holding back total lawlessness. A key thing to understand is that the day will soon come when He lets go and every day will become a terrorist nightmare in real time from which no one can escape. "For the secret power of lawlessness is already at work; but the one who now holds it back will continue to do so till he is taken out of the way. And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will overthrow with the breath of his mouth and destroy by the splendor of his coming. The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with the work of Satan displayed in all kinds of counterfeit miracles, signs and wonders, and in every sort of evil that deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness" (2 Thessalonians 2:7-12).

Two events on the world stage in the past week have possibly contributed to the end time prophecy clock ticking forward. Turkey's failed coup and Iran's revelation of a side agreement that allows it to develop a nuclear weapons program sooner than had previously been reported are two events involving nations of the coalition that come against Israel in a colossal end time battle prophesied in Ezekiel 38. Ezekiel 38:2 says, "...set thy face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against them." Magog, Meshech, Tubal are all located in what is now modern Turkey. Verse 5 says, "Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya with them..." Persia is modern day Iran. Associated Press Monday published an investigative story claiming it had obtained a copy of one of the side agreements of the Iranian nuclear deal that gave Iran the ability to enrich uranium in half the time the White House had told America. The story then was pulled and replaced by a much shorter story on how Iran's Foreign Minister bragged about expanding the nation's nuclear program as part of the agreement. A year ago when the "president" was negotiating with the terror state he denied there were side agreements. Iran, however, has continued developing non-nuclear parts of a nuclear weapons system, testing missiles, chanting the mantra "death to America," and claiming it will annihilate Israel. The original AP story that was replaced said "the document is the only secret text linked to last year's agreement between Iran and six foreign powers. It says that after a period between 11 to 13 years, Iran can replace its 5,060 inefficient centrifuges with up to 3,500 advanced machines. Since those are five times as efficient, the time Iran would need to make a weapon would drop from a year to six months. Iran says its enrichment is peaceful, but the program could be used for nuclear warheads. Two diplomats providing the information Monday demanded anonymity because they weren't authorized to do so." The American "president" lied to the world in saying that the Iran deal made the Middle East safer. Turkey's attempted coup will likely accelerate its "president's" desires to ditch democracy for Islamic Sharia rule. The recent Islamic State terrorist attack in that country is an indicator of how Islam works-violence begets solidification. Turkey has been assisting IS since its inception. Currently, Turkey and Iran are rivals as they are positioning for control of the Middle East. We know, however, that Magog (Turkey) eventually leads and Persia follows. These players represent both Shiite and Sunni Muslims who unite against Israel in the "acharit-hayamim," meaning the end of days. God will destroy them with earthquakes, fire and brimstone. Ezekiel 38: 21 says, "...every man's sword shall be against his brother." Tick-tock goes the Prophecy clock.

And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed. -Romans 13:11 I once asked Pastor Chuck Smith if he thought there would ever be another Jesus Movement. He answered, "Well, people were desperate for revival back then. I am not sure people are desperate enough right now." That may be true. How desperate are we? The reality is that often we pray for prosperity in our nation and in our own lives. But the fact is that revival often explodes when there is calamity. The Third Great Awakening happened after the stock market crashed. What is revival? A simple definition is "to come alive again." Revival is the spark, if you will, that starts the engine. And periodically we need a new spark. Revival is like waking up from your sleep. One person defined it as nothing more or less than a new beginning of obedience to God. The great evangelist Billy Sunday once said, "They say that a revival is but temporary. So is a bath, but it does you good." A revival may be only temporary, but we need one right now. We are not praying that nonbelievers have a revival, because they don't need one. They need salvation. The church needs revival. Revival is a church word, and it is for believers only-believers who once, perhaps, were more alive than they are today and need to be revived again. C. H. Spurgeon said, "To be revived is a blessing which can only be enjoyed by those who have some degree of life. Those who have no spiritual life are not, and cannot be, in the strictest sense of the term, subjects of revival. . . . A true revival is to be looked for in the church of God." Revival starts with you and me. Then it affects the church. And then the church affects the nation.
