In 1986, a virtually unknown Frank Peretti released his seminal and best to date, fiction book This Present Darkness. In it, he uses a small town as the setting and unfolds for the reader the very real power struggle between a local pastor and the growing, conspiratorial sundry of various agencies that are working in a subversive plot to sabotage and overthrow the Christian faith in various areas of the town by way of New Age religious indoctrination. At the very heart of all New Age agenda is the belief that humans can become as 'gods'. We know that this was the very first lie that was ever mentioned in the Bible, when Satan masquerading as the serpent, presented this half-truth to Eve. But while the book, in and of itself would be worthy of the read, Mr. Peretti also includes the very real unseen struggle between the spiritual forces of good fighting on the side of God, and the spiritual forces of the wicked one we know as Satan. It is in the second arena I wish to take you, the reader on for a trip down the unseen lane. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12 (ESV) The Apostle Paul, by way of inspiration of the Holy Spirit, breaks down the real war that goes on every second of every day here on earth. The battle over the soul of men isn't fought with swords and bullets, its fought by something much more power...ideology. As humans, we are unique in all of creation, in that we are first and foremost, created in the image of God. We are given the ability to think, to create, to dream, and to question things beyond our limited understanding. All of these are what has propelled the human race forward in regards to the accumulation of knowledge, and the advancements in technology. Along the way, man has come to the point of his understanding that he began to pervert his knowledge of God. This isn't some new thing, but dates back to the time of the first family. First, with Eve and Adam's fall in the garden, but more evident with the willful rebellion of the first son, Cain; And in the process of time it came to pass that Cain brought an offering of the fruit of the ground to the Lord. Abel also brought of the firstborn of his flock and of their fat. And the Lord respected Abel and his offering, but He did not respect Cain and his offering. And Cain was very angry, and his countenance fell. So the Lord said to Cain, "Why are you angry? And why has your countenance fallen? If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin lies at the door. And its desire is for you, but you should rule over it." Genesis 4:3-7 We all know the story, and how it ends. But the lead up is of unique significance in that God is dealing directly with Cain and Abel. At this point, Cain ignores what he knows and goes with what he thinks is worthy of an offering...which is subsequently rejected causing Cain to allow evil to fester in his heart. At this point in Scripture, the only tradition that can even be alluded too, is that of the covering of skin that God provided Adam and Eve after their fall. (Gen. 3:21) In order for God to have provided skins for them, something living would have had to die in their place. So although not spelled out implicitly, it is demonstrated here through action and the principle that life is in the blood, and that innocent blood must be shed in order to atone for (or before Christ, cover) the sins of fallen man, is a concept that is carried forward throughout the rest of the bible. (Gen. 9:4; Leviticus 17:11; John 6:54) For the rest of human history, tragedy and wickedness have been an ever-present companion along man's journey on the earth. By the time Noah comes along (some 1,600 years after Adam), fallen angels had so corrupted mankind that God had to destroy mankind in order to save a remnant of them. (Gen. 6:1-13) So it is, that in the Bible alone, hundreds of stories play out where men, influenced by evil desires, seek to overthrow good. In certain places, we get a peek behind the curtains if you will, to see that along the lines of national boundaries, there are also spiritual boundaries, in which angelic forces, both good and evil, work to influence men. The book of Daniel records one such incident where an angel (presumably the angel Gabriel) came to speak to Daniel, who by this time, was an old man; Then he said, "Do you know why I have come to you? And now I must return to fight with the prince of Persia; and when I have gone forth, indeed the prince of Greece will come. But I will tell you what is noted in the Scripture of Truth. (No one upholds me against these, except Michael your prince. Daniel 10:20-21 Gabriel here, referring to the other angels (good and bad) as 'princes', who hold territorial sway over certain areas, certainly piques the interest of we, the readers. Could it be that our world is broken down into angelic strongholds and that these strongholds, rally forth ideologies that damn men's eternal souls? Absolutely yes. Simply look across the world and see areas where particular religions hold sway, and understand that these aren't just geographical and cultural nuances. There is power in these beliefs, and where it not so, they would have died out many years ago. Most of the non-Christian world embraces their religious and philosophical beliefs as one and the same, and it impacts every area of their life. Here are just a sampling of the predominant views in each area; India- Hinduism, Jainism, Buddhism China- Buddhism, Confucianism, Taoism Japan- Shintoism Iran- Shia Islam Middle East- Sunni Islam Africa- Tribal Religions, Christianity, Islam Europe- Paganism, Roman Catholicism, Eastern Orthodox South/Central America- Roman Catholicism North America- Protestant, Roman Catholic Christianity, Secular Humanism Assessment The struggles these days, are not necessarily inside the strongholds, but on the fringes, where religious ideology is making forays into areas outside their traditional stomping grounds. For instance, Southeast Asia (Pacifica) is a clash of cultures between the tribal, Islamic, and Roman Catholic worldviews. Enclaves all around the Middle East are fighting between Sunni and Shia Islam with each trying to gain the territorial advantage. Paganism, secular humanism (or atheism), Wicca, Hinduism, Buddhism, and Islam are all pressing hard into what was once considered "Christian" nations of Europe and North America. But everywhere we look we see competing ideologies burgeoning forth for dominance. These ideologies all have one thing in common, in that there are spiritual forces behind them, imposing themselves into the realm of man. When Adam and Eve essentially forfeited their rightful claim to rule this planet from Eden when they fell, and handed that "title deed" of the earth, over to Satan. (Gen. 1:28-30) By the time Christ came in the flesh to redeem mankind, this understanding was already well understood. During His temptation, our Lord is confronted by Satan himself who tries to entice Jesus with unlimited authority and a world that would be given back over to Him, at least, superficially... Then the devil, taking Him up on a high mountain, showed Him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. And the devil said to Him, "All this authority I will give You, and their glory; for this has been delivered to me, and I give it to whomever I wish. Therefore, if You will worship before me, all will be Yours." Luke 4:5-7 Jesus responds; And Jesus answered and said to him, "Get behind Me, Satan! For it is written, 'You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only you shall serve.' " (vs. 8) Notice that Jesus doesn't dispute the claim made here by Satan. Satan's offer was legitimate. Had Jesus bowed down to worship Satan, I'm positive that this world we live in, would be 100% "Christian", at least, religiously. Some might ask why though? I mean, wasn't the Great Commission meant to convert the entire world make disciples of ALL nations? (Matt. 28:19-20) Yes. But here, Satan is offering the world to Jesus on a silver platter which circumvented redemption, and simply transferred allegiances that would have gained Christ the world, but lost the souls of every man, woman, and child henceforth. This is why Christ rebukes him for it. Again, this goes back to the principle of Genesis 1:21 and 9:4, and the law as found in Leviticus 17:11...and that man can only be redeemed by the shedding of innocent blood. Christ had to die first in order to be that final, perfect, innocent sacrifice who would satiate that completely holy and perfect justice God the Father demanded...once and for all time (Hebrews 10:10-14). This was the only means that could redeem a fallen man, back to a completely holy and righteous God. Although I'm pretty sure Satan wasn't entirely sure of what Jesus's intentions were in regards to the Cross, I think he meant only to offer a shortcut which would gain Christ the "Kingdom", but damn mankind to an eternity in hell. Had Satan known, I'm sure he would have done everything possible to make sure Christ wasn't crucified. However, we speak wisdom among those who are mature, yet not the wisdom of this age, nor of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing. But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory, which none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. 1 Cor. 2:6-8 The real battle isn't over geographical territory, the real battle in the world today is over the souls of men. And this is why all the world's religions, to include the religion of Christianity, comes up short in offering what man so desperately seeks...which is redemption. Religion cannot save a man. Salvation can only be found through a personal relationship with the one and only, living God...the Man, Christ Jesus. Eternal salvation and redemption only comes to a man when he or she comes to the broken-hearted realization that they cannot save themselves through good works, religious traditions, money, wealth, power, philosophical reasonings, secret knowledge, or any other 'thing' or 'ism'. Salvation is found in no other name than Jesus Christ. (Acts 4:10-12) This is why Satan has spiritual boundaries. This is why Satan has the world divided up into powers, rulers, authorities, and wickedness in high places. He has to keep the world suppressed and in darkness, to prevent the 'salt and light' from overthrowing the illusion he's so carefully crafted. This is why the world will tolerate drugs, false religions, homosexuality, abortion, racism, euthanasia, pornography, rape, murder, violence, cults, corruption, greed, pollution, abuse, slavery, and every other vile thing that enslaves and destroys mankind, but viscerally hates the name of Jesus Christ. What we are seeing in this current present darkness, is a satanic world system whose value system is flipped on its head. This is where evil is called good, and good, evil. They (spiritual forces of darkness in high places) realize that their time is running short, and they are in full panic mode. Satan is throwing out all the bells and whistles, and for a brief, brief period of time, God is increasingly allowing it, but only because it serves His purpose, which is to remove the Church, chastise and ultimately redeem Israel, and destroy the world system Satan has spent millennia crafting and suppressing. (Daniel 9:24-27, Jeremiah 30:7-11, 1 Cor. 15:51-56) Think about it this way, if God is true and the Bible is true, then any narrative that the world presents as 'truth' and conflicts with what the Bible says must be a lie because they can't both be true. For instance, IF the universe and all therein came from an accidental 'Big Bang', then the Genesis account can't be true. IF man came from apes (or Darwinian Evolution model), then man was not created by God in His own image. IF there is no afterlife, and when we die, we just drift off into eternal blackness of nothingness then there cannot be heaven and hell. IF all paths lead to God, then the Bible can't be true. IF man can earn his own salvation through good works, then the Bible can't be true. WHY NOT? Because the Bible states that it is only through the finished work of Jesus Christ's death, burial, and resurrection, that man can be saved. Therefore, any narrative that conflicts with Scripture is a lie then Satan MUST construct a myriad of lies to help prop up that false narrative. Because once you start peeling away the lies, the whole false narrative starts to fall apart rather quickly. This is why he has suppressed the world into spiritual kingdoms of darkness. Since he himself is a created being, he has to rely on his lesser demons to do his bidding. How exactly their rank structure works, I'm not sure. But know this, that even though he currently holds sway over the earth, he is about to be evicted. Known to the Father, is that point in which He will direct the Son, Jesus Christ, to remove His ambassador's from the earth. (Philippians 3:20-21) He then will present Jesus as the Lamb of God, and the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, who is the only ONE worthy to redeem the earth and all therein. Here is where we pick up the story in Revelation 5:6-10... And I looked, and behold, in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as though it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent out into all the earth. Then He came and took the scroll out of the right hand of Him who sat on the throne. Now when He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints. And they sang a new song, saying: "You are worthy to take the scroll, And to open its seals; For You were slain, And have redeemed us to God by Your blood Out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, And have made us kings and priests to our God; And we shall reign on the earth." Even So, Maranatha!

President Vladimir Putin turns aside all Israel's complaints about Russian arms supplies to Iran's Lebanese proxy, Hezbollah, whenever he talks to Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu - roughly every week-to-ten days. The issue is also raised without results by Israeli officials on trips to Moscow, including the visit by Yossi Cohen, Director of the Mossad, to the Russian capital on July 1. Nonetheless, Netanyahu persisted in complaining again about the Russian arms reaching the Lebanese terrorist group in his latest phone conversation with Putin on Saturday, July 23. He made the call, debkafile military sources say, primarily to raise another topic at issue, the UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) flights from Syria into Israeli airspace on July 17. After their conversation, the Kremlin issued a bland statement saying that the two leaders discussed issues related to the war on terrorism, and that both agreed to continue the ties between the countries at "various levels." Our military sources report that the conviction gaining ground now among IDF intelligence (AMAN) and Air Force chiefs is that the drone was not Iranian or Hezbollah's but Russian. They take a grave view of the episode - especially when the unmanned aircraft, which hovered for some hours over the Golan and northern Israel, appears to have been a "Searcher," the reconnaissance drone developed by Israel and manufactured by Russia as "Forpost" under Israeli license. Moscow is making use of the sophisticated Forpost UAV for surveillance and intelligence-gathering in Syria, Ukraine and terrorist targets in the Caucasian mountains. If IDF chiefs are correct, then a Russian drone developed by Israel was used to spy on Israel after it was launched from an Iranian or Hezbollah base in the Syrian Qalamun Mountains. This action crossed more than one Israeli red line. Adding insult to injury, the drone's electronic jamming devices were activated to disarm the missiles and aircraft Israel scrambled to intercept it. This issue is a further irritant on top of the Russian arms supplies to Hezbollah, which elude Israel's efforts to interrupt them by two covert tactics: 1. Russian weapons consignments to the Syrian army are in excess of the recipient's requirements; the surplus is secretly diverted to the Hezbollah. Israeli air strikes only smash the Iranian and Syrian weapons convoys known to be heading out of Syria to Lebanon on the strength of data provided by Israeli military intelligence (Aman). But the traffic missed by Aman goes through to its destination. By this tactic, our military sources report, Hezbollah has succeeded in basing most of its fighting units, not only in Syria, but also in Lebanon, on Russian weaponry - last year, at a battalion level; by June 2016, including company level. Their hardware is not limited to personal side-arms from Russia, but also anti-aircraft and anti-tanks missiles. Where do they come from? 2. The Russian military industry is the main supplier of raw materials for Syria's arms manufacture, including missiles. Without this assistance, the Assad regime would not have been able to manufacture the Scud C mid-range ground-to-ground missiles or the Fateh-110 missiles. Some of these made-in-Syria missiles are quietly consigned to the Hezbollah. Our sources have found that Putin habitually acts surprised and feigns ignorance whenever Netanyahu raises the issue of the Russian weapon supply to the Hezbollah. He then promises to look into Israel's complaint and get back to him with an answer. Weeks go by and the Russian president informs the prime minister that the thorough examination he ordered found no evidence of any Russian military or civilian body supplying Hezbollah with weapons. Netanyahu shows his disbelief and continues to raise the issue each time he speaks with Putin.Meanwhile, the Russian arms supply to Hezbollah goes on with Israel constrained from interfering. debkafile: These occurrences demonstrate that the military and intelligence relations between Israel and Russia are in fact a far cry from the entente cordiale presumed in Israel and Western capitals. Indeed, working relations are handicapped by the effect of such incidents to erode even the limited understanding the two leaders reached to coordinate military intelligence and air force operations in the Syrian arena.

What to Make of Erdogan's Proposal for a 'Turkish-Iranian-Russian Alliance' In a telephone conversation with Iranian President Hassan Rouhani on Tuesday, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan expressed his willingness to cooperate closely with Iran and Russia "to settle regional crises and restore peace and stability to the region." But what do Russian political analysts make of the Turkish leader's proposals? As expected, the main topic of discussion between the Iranian and Turkish leaders during Tuesday's phone call was the failed military coup attempt that rocked Ankara on Friday night. Rouhani emphasized that Iran welcomed the return of stability in Turkey, and praised "the great maturity of the Turkish people, who showed during this coup attempt that strong-arm tactics have no place in our region." But the two leaders also touched on the situation in the Middle East as a whole, and seem to have come to a consensus that there are global forces who are not satisfied with the idea of tranquility in the region. For his part, President Rouhani noted he has no doubt that together with the terrorists, there are also "some superpowers" trying to destabilize things. Commenting on the conversation, Svobodnaya Pressa columnist Svetlana Gomzikova wrote that "it was not difficult to guess that Rouhani was referring to the United States, which has left quite a mark on the region over the last two decades." "Perhaps even more surprising was the proposal by the Turkish president to establish a tripartite alliance consisting of Ankara, Tehran and Moscow," she added. President Erdogan, she recalled, thanked Rouhani for his call and indicated that Turkey is "even more determined to work hand-in-hand with Iran and Russia to resolve regional issues and to strengthen our efforts to return peace and stability to the region." "What was this?" Gomzikova asked. "Is the Turkish President really ready to cooperate with Iran, with which Ankara has always had serious disagreements, in spite of the US? Or has the vector of Erdogan's interests really changed following recent events? And in general, how can such an alliance change the regional picture in the context of the Syrian crisis?" For answers, Svobodnaya Pressa turned to Middle East experts Stanislav Tarasov and Vladimir Yurtaev. Tarasov, the director of the Middle East-Causasus Research Center, indicated that this may very well be a genuine attempt by Erdogan to try and shift his country's foreign policy vector. The first inkling of that shift was witnessed before the coup, when Ankara initiated moves for a rapid rapprochement with both Israel and Russia. "After that, a strange series of events occurred," Tarasov noted. "A terror attack struck the international airport in Istanbul. Then, information appeared about a planned meeting between Erdogan and the Russian president, possibly at the G20 forum in China. Then the schedule was changed, and suddenly, there was this incomprehensible and completely inconsistent coup attempt." There are numerous versions regarding the coup, the analyst noted, including the one being pushed by Ankara that the rebelling officers had ties with Fethullah Gulen, the billionaire religious leader residing in self-imposed exile in the United States. Until very recently, Tarasov noted, Erdogan's 'neo-Ottoman' policy had amounted to "trying to strengthen Turkey's regional influence 'on the wings of NATO'." That strategy would eventually end up failing spectacularly, with Ankara dragged into the regional conflict in Syria and Iraq, and facing the consequences, including two million refugees flooding into Turkey. "Then there's the Kurdish factor, and the fact that they are now supported in Syria by the Americans. Since then, the Kurds have also risen up in rebellion in southeast Turkey," posing a threat to Turkey's own territorial integrity. Essentially, the analyst argued, it's likely that Erdogan "realized long ago that he had been trapped as a result of Western policy." As a result, "knowing that the Americans will not hand over Gulen, Erdogan is deliberately, for tactical reasons, provoking the aggravation of Turkish-US relations, in order to play the 'eastern card'." "The Turks used a similar scenario when they sought to join the Shanghai Cooperation Organization," Tarasov recalled. "Turkey had received the status of a dialogue partner, and then Erdogan said that 'if Turkey was not accepted into the EU soon, it might join the SCO instead." Now, the analyst noted, with Turkey's allies in the West hitting Erdogan with a barrage of criticism following the wave of repression that followed the coup, "he is beginning to build a kind of political alternative - giving him bargaining power with the West." The central problem for Moscow, according to Tarasov, is that much of the Western policy establishment genuinely seems to support the fragmentation of the entire Middle East, Turkey included. For Russia, such a nightmare scenario would have disastrous consequences. "We would receive additional hotbeds of tension across our southern borders. In this scenario, Russia would find it impossible not to join a kind of alliance with Erdogan." Furthermore, the expert pointed out, if Ankara is genuinely considering the foreign policy U-turn that partnership with Moscow and Tehran would imply, "this means that on the Syrian track, Erdogan must recognize the authority of the Assad government, and negotiate in the appropriate format. This opens up the prospect of resolving the crisis in Syria." As things stand, however, Turkey does not recognize Assad's legitimacy. In fact, Tarasov noted, given the harsh statements which continue to be made by Turkish authorities, even following the coup attempt, he had not seen "even a note of sympathy for the Syrian leader." In any case, given a situation post-coup where Ankara faces pressures both inside and out, "it is entirely understandable that Ankara will be looking to create or join some tactical alliances. The government is trying to enlist the support of would-be allies who could act as a counterweight to the strained relations with the West." Ultimately, the analyst noted, "it's difficult to say what will happen next. Next month Erdogan is scheduled to meet with Putin. Perhaps these issues will be worked out there. And then a certain clarity will appear. Personally, I get the impression that Turkey is genuinely trying to change its geopolitical orientation." For his part, Vladimir Yurtaev, a member of the European Society of Scholars of Iran, took note of the model of diplomacy involved in Ankara's proposal - featuring three partners. "This so-called 'triangular diplomacy' has been found very productive by Tehran in particular. It was first implemented between Russia, India and China by [former Russian Prime Minister] Yevgeny Primakov [in the 1990s]. I refer to it as the 'Primakov triangle'. And the Iranians, more than any other country in the region, appreciate this approach very much, and use it to effect." Ultimately, Yurtaev suggested that "with regard to how beneficial or useful such an alliance may be for Russia, I cannot judge. [However,] there is no historical precedent for such cooperation in the region" between these three countries. If Ankara is serious, Moscow should seriously consider the offer, not least because it may help resolve the Syrian crisis, and provide Russia with a conditional voice within the NATO bloc, the analyst concluded. There is a Russian saying, popularized by the legendary film White Sun of the Desert, saying that "the Orient is a delicate matter." Nowhere is this concept more relevant today than in Russia's diplomacy vis-à-vis Erdogan's Turkey.

Psalms 95:1 (The Israel Bible™) The Hebrew Bible contains the words to ten songs that mark the most significant occurrences in human history. Known in Hebrew as the Ten Shirot (Songs), these are Biblical songs that Biblical figures sang in praise to God. The tenth song, known as Shir haGeula, the song of the redemption, or Shir haMoshiach, the song of the Messiah, has yet to be sung. Its words come from the Book of Isaiah, chapter 26. Some say that it will be introduced by the verses in Isaiah 9:2-7. On one level, the verses in Isaiah 9:2-7 refer to King Hezekiah, the 13th king of Judah. Hezekiah was a 15th generation descendant of King David and had the potential to become the Jewish Messiah. Despite the great spiritual revival that existed in those days, Hezekiah failed to reach the level of the Messiah. On another level, the prophet Isaiah is speaking of a messianic salvation even further in the future, when the Jewish people will be held in the highest esteem by the nations of the world. God will yet do remarkable miracles for the Nation of Israel. These verses describe this future as a time of great joy, similar to joy that accompanies dividing the fruits of the harvest or the spoils of war. In this future messianic era, God will remove the harshness of the enemies of Israel and will appoint a powerful and imposing leader, a descendent of King David, who will be known as the Prince of Peace. The first verse of chapter 26 mentions the song that will be sung at the time of the final Redemption, after the war of Gog and Magog, to praise God for the ultimate salvation of Jerusalem and the Jewish people. In that day shall this song be sung in the land of Yehudah: We have a strong city; walls and bulwarks doth He appoint for salvation. (Isaiah 26:1) The first nine Biblical songs that precede the Song of the Messiah are: 1st - Mizmor Shir l'Yom Ha-Shabbat (A Psalm for the Sabbath Day) was sung by Adam when Creation was completed. The text is Psalm 92, which is part of the Jewish prayer service that inaugurates Shabbat every Friday at sundown. 2nd - Shirat haYam (Song of the Sea) was sung by the newly freed Israelite slaves after the Egyptian army drowned in the Red Sea. Its text is Exodus 14:30-15:19. 3rd - Shirat haBe'er (Song of the Well) was sung when the well of water that accompanied the Jews through the desert mixed with the blood of the enemy Amorites. The text is found in Numbers 21:16-18. 4th - Ha'azinu (to hear or to listen) was sung by Moses as his final message to the Jewish people. The text of the song is Deuteronomy 32:1-32:52. 5th - Shirat haGivon (Song of Givon) was sung when, in response to Joshua's prayer, God made the sun stand still until the battle against the Canaanite king of Jerusalem was won. It is referred to in Joshua 10:12-15. 6th - Shirat Devorah (Song of Deborah) was sung by the prophetess Deborah after she led the Jews to victory over the armies of Canaan, led by Sisera. The text is Judges 4:4-5:31. 7th - Shirat Chana (Song of Hannah) was sung by the prophetess Hannah when God granted her a child (the prophet Samuel) after years of infertility. Its text is I Samuel 2:1-10. 8th - Shirat David (Song of David) was sung by King David after God saved him from all his enemies, including King Saul. The text is 2 Samuel 22. Another version of the text, with minor variations, is found in Psalm 18. 9th - Shir haShirim (Song of Songs) was written by King Solomon and uses a romantic relationship between a man and a woman as an allegory for the relationship between God and the Jewish people. The text makes up its own book in the Hebrew Bible. The first nine Biblical songs are referred to as shirah, which is the grammatically feminine Hebrew word for song. According to classical Jewish Bible scholars, this is because, just as women give birth to future generations, the first nine Biblical songs were followed by significant events. The Song of the Messiah, which will be sung after the final salvation, represents the end of every ordeal of Jewish history. Therefore, it is referred to as a shir, which is the grammatically masculine Hebrew word for song.

Hillary Clinton was not on my mind when I checked to see if Sean Osborn had posted anything lately (eschatologytoday.blogspot.com). But there was Sean's new article titled "The Failed Coup d'Etat in Turkey" and he said, "The surprising twist comes in a very recent (13JUL16) pre-coup d'etat news report by The Daily Caller that Hillary and Bill Clinton are also closely associated with Fethullah Gulen and his movement. A trove of discovery documents filed with the U.S. Congress detail the ties between the Clinton Foundation and Fethullah Gulen. The Gulen organization and many of its adherents have also donated heavily to the Hillary Clinton presidential campaign." I Googled "Clinton Foundation, Fethullah Gulen" and one of the choices was "Bill Clinton on Fethullah Gulen's Contribution to the World." I clicked on it and watched a short video (http://hizmetnews.com/11982/bill-clinton-fethullah-gulens-contribution/#.V46gUdQrJkg). Bill Clinton praised Fethullah Gulen and his transnational social movement (also called the Hizmet Movement). And Bill closed by thanking Fethullah Gulen for his friendship to Hillary and him. I wondered if Gulen's friendship had anything to do with Sean's above mentioned heavy donations to the Hillary Clinton presidential campaign. I went back to my article choices and saw "Turkey Failed Coup: Ties Emerge Between Hilary Clinton And Mysterious Islamic Cleric Fethullah Gulen." I clicked on it and read that a group called Global Research has posted an article by Chuck Ross that was written for The Daily Caller on 13 July 2016. Mr. Ross wrote that a member of the Gulen Movement (Gokhan Ozkok) raised money for the Clinton campaign and the Clinton Global Initiative. He said, "One Gulen movement Leader, Recep Ozkan donated between $500,000 and $1 million to the Clinton foundation." During all of this, I saw a link to an article titled "Followers Of A Mysterious Turkish Islamic Cleric Have Donated Heavily To Hillary's Campaign And Family Charity." The author was Chuck Ross again and he wrote the article about 8 months ago. This statement caught my attention "As president of the Turkish Cultural Center, Ozkan hosted Clinton at Ramadan celebration dinners in 2006 and 2007 when she was in the Senate." I don't know that Hillary Clinton has done anything wrong in this case, but I know that she is dishonest and she doesn't seem to think that she has to obey the law. These articles reveal that she has been celebrating Ramadan with Muslim groups and that she and her foundation are taking large sums of money from Muslim groups (This is just the tip of the iceberg. Hillary has taken millions more from radicals and others in the Persian Gulf), and she is calling for a massive increase in Muslim immigration into the U.S. Since it has been established that ISIS has infiltrated the Muslim immigrants, I think it is dangerous and irresponsible to not check them out. Hillary could be putting the security of America's citizens at risk again. (She did that with her e-mail system.) Since Hillary is taking large sums of money from a Muslim group and she is opposing Donald Trump's call to check them out it looks very suspicious. And despite the fact that her diplomatic relations with Russia, Iraq, Libya and others demonstrate a total lack of understanding, Hillary presents herself as a very experienced and highly qualified leader. On the other hand, this new scandal shows that her brand of leadership is more self-enriching than intelligent because America may now be caught-up in a diplomatic scandal with Turkey. More than a thousand people have been killed or wounded in the failed coup that Turkey blames on Fethullah Gulen, dozens of military leaders have been jailed and they could be facing death, thousands of people have lost their jobs, Turkey wants the U.S. to extradite Gulen, the U.S. State Dept. has asked for evidence of his involvement, Turkey has supplied materials and the U.S. is evaluating them. I don't trust President Erdogan and the whole thing reeks with deception, but how could crooked Hillary do the right thing as president when she has taken millions of dollars from this man? How can America trust crooked Hillary on Muslim immigration when she and Bill are taking millions of dollars from sheiks in the Persian Gulf? On Wednesday, I was contacted by someone on an ISIS kill list. Of course there are probably lots of people out there that believe that "ISIS is after them", but this particular individual and his wife were actually told that they are on an ISIS kill list by the FBI. Not only are they on the list, but so is their pastor. It turns out that ISIS has apparently been pulling names off of church directories on the Internet, and so now an entire church has ended up on an ISIS kill list. In the past perhaps many of us would have been less alarmed by this, but the attacks in Orlando, Dallas, Nice, and Baton Rouge are all still fresh in our minds. Innocent people are being targeted and killed just to make a statement, and nobody knows who will be next. I would like to share with you a short excerpt from the email that was sent to me. Names and locations have been removed to protect the identity of the individual and his church... Enjoy reading your blogs. Need help. Or info. Please comment if you have info. My wife and I live in *****, ********** just north of ******* We were contacted by the FBI this week. We are on a ISIS terrorist kill list and they wanted to inform us. So is my pastor. It appears a Muslim group is trolling the internet and getting church directories and posting names for anyone to kill. Quite frightening. I have talked to the ***** *** FBI Office numerous times now and they say they do not have suspects but this appears to be a new tactic. Be diligent but go about your normal life. They advised that the threat could be low - but tell that to the widows of all the slain police officers nationwide. This was news to me, so I didn't really have any additional information for this individual. But if something similar has happened to you or someone you know, please let me know so that I can share it with him. Obviously the federal government is trying to keep this quiet, and so we will have to rely on each other for information. One thing that I did find is that apparently Jewish leaders and Jewish synagogues in the United States are being targeted as well... The Islamic State's release on July 3rd of a new "kill list" prompted U.S. Department of Homeland Security officials to brief American Jewish leaders on the possible threat of terrorism to prominent Jewish figures and synagogues. The latest ISIS statement is not the first "ISIS kill list" to target American citizens. News of one broke in early June on the site Vocativ, which reported on a list published online which targeted over 8,000 Americans - including Hollywood celebrities and Silicon Valley executives. Overall, approximately 15,000 Americans are now on various "kill lists" that ISIS has put out, but unfortunately most of the people on the kill lists aren't even aware that this has happened... Over the past few years the Islamic State has posted the names of some 15,000 American citizens from places such as New York, Texas, Florida and California on kill lists. Yet the FBI has not necessarily notified those on these kill lists that they have been marked for death, according to Circa News. The lists are not publicly available, but Circa News was able to obtain samples. Out of 24 people on kill lists they contacted in Texas, 22 of them did not know that they were on such a list. What we do know is that Islamic terrorists, whether they belong to ISIS or not, are not afraid to target innocent people in western Europe and the United States. The attacks in Orlando and Nice made headlines all over the globe, and it seems quite likely that other radicalized Muslims will be emboldened by them. And churches need to start taking security a lot more seriously. Not too long ago, a 21-year-old Islamic radical had purchased a gun and had planned to go into a Detroit megachurch and start shooting on a Sunday morning. The following is an extended excerpt from one of my previous articles... ***** 21-year-old Khalil Abu-Rayyan of Dearborn Heights, Michigan actually admitted to authorities that he had purchased a gun and had intended to take it into a church that can seat up to 6,000 people on a Sunday morning and start shooting. Abu-Rayyan also admitted to authorities that since he could not do his jihad in the Middle East, that he intended to "do my jihad over here". The following is an excerpt from a news report about this potential attack that was thwarted... "I tried to shoot up a church one day," Abu-Rayyan is quoted as saying in court records. "I don't know the name of it, but it's close to my job. It's one of the biggest ones in Detroit. Ya, I had it planned out. I bought a bunch of bullets. I practiced a lot with it. I practiced reloading and unloading. But my dad searched my car one day, and he found everything. He found the gun and the bullets and a mask I was going to wear." Investigators didn't name the church Abu-Rayyan allegedly eyed, but claim the property covers about two blocks less than half a mile from his work and can accommodate up to 6,000 members. He allegedly purchased a gun and told an undercover FBI employee that attacking a church would be "easy." "A lot of people go there. Plus people are not allowed to carry guns in church," the affidavit quotes him as saying. "Plus it would make the news. Everybody would've heard. Honestly I regret not doing it. (If I) can't go do jihad at the Middle East, I would do my jihad over here." ***** The people that attend that particular church in Detroit should be extremely thankful that the authorities stopped that plot in advance, because the carnage would have been off the charts. But without a doubt, there will be more terrorists that specifically target churches. This is already happening all over the globe, and it is coming to the western world too.

There is a pattern with Hillary Clinton and her emails. First, she sets up a private unsecure email server in her home to which FBI investigators say that "possible hostile actors gained access," that she was "extremely careless" with top-secret documents, and that there was "evidence of potential violations of statues." Now, the Democratic Party's Chairman, Clinton's close friend, fellow socialist, and associate, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, is stepping down because of emails documenting that Clinton and Shultz conspired to undermine socialist Bernie Sanders' presidential campaign and post a fake Craigslist job ad depicting rival Donald Trump as a boss that sexually molests his female employees. What pattern? This pattern indicates that Clinton is not qualified to be president because she continuously uses emails, which are able to be documented, to do things that she thinks are secret. She has placed America's national security in jeopardy with her careless violation of policies, procedures and laws. And she and her cohorts have exposed her campaign to the public, revealing the scurrilous details of how dirty politics is played. Just a reminder for those Christians who claim that they cannot in good conscience vote for Trump: not voting or voting for a third candidate may make one feel like they have stayed their "principles," but in reality this is a vote for Clinton . There is, however, even a greater pattern. Clinton's scandals are too numerous to list in this Daily Jot. Her choice of a running mate is also embroiled with scandal. Vice Presidential choice, Tom Kaine, has been investigated for receiving lavish gifts from those hoping to gain his favor while he was Lt. Governor and Governor of Virginia. Kaine also is in lock-step with Clinton in advancing radical Islam. As governor, he appointed Muslim American Society President Esam Omeish to Virginia's Immigration Commission. The Muslim American Society, according to federal prosecutors, was "founded as the overt arm of the Muslim Brotherhood in America." He was also head of the Muslim Students Association and served on the Islamic Society of North America's board-all named co-conspirators in the 2008 Holy Land terror funding trial. There is no "Yeah, but they do it, too" argument for this repeated behavior that lacks character. It is a lifelong pattern of Hillary Clinton and she chooses people who have the same lack of character and honesty. As Christ said in Matthew 7:15-16, "Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. You shall know them by their fruits." While Clinton is no prophet, she is coming to the American public in sheep's clothing, and her track record is that of a ravenous wolf. We can recognize her by her fruits. The Democratic Party seems to attract candidates who are counter to traditional American values. Their emails and their actions have recognizable patterns.

Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. -Matthew 7:7 There never has been a prayerless revival in history. Revival starts with prayer. God said, "If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land" (2 Chronicles 7:14). Notice God said, "Pray and seek My face." We should not only pray, but we also should seek His face. There is a difference. We can pray like this: "Lord, send revival. Amen." Now let's get lunch. Or, we can pray, "Lord, we are seeking You. . . . Lord, we are calling out to You. . . . Lord, we are desperate for You. . . . Lord, we need You. Send an awakening to America." It is effectively a prayer that doesn't take no for an answer. Are we being presumptuous when we pray that way? No, because Jesus said, "Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you." (Matthew 7:7). Another way to translate this would be, "Keep asking, keep seeking, Keep knocking." Jesus goes on to say, "For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened." (verse 8). When we are praying for revival, we are praying according to the will of God. When we are praying for the salvation of a loved one, we are praying according to the will of God. We need to press forward in our prayers and seek His face, not backing down. We cannot organize a revival, but we can agonize for one in prayer. Perhaps we can prepare the ground. Better yet, we ought to "preprayer" the ground. Press on.
