John 18:37-38 Unlike the Pharisees who were blinded by religious externalism, when Pontius Pilate comes face to face with the Truth (John 14:6), his question exposes the reality of his spiritual blindness by moral relativism. Moreover, this battle over truth has been going on since the beginning of time. While spiritual ignorance in the forms of paganism and idolatry has existed for almost just as long, what we see now is an acceleration and amplification of it through technology and mass communication. So what has the Left turned to again in these last days? Moral Relativism. Leftism's ultimate aim is to destroy and/or corrupt the truth. We know Satan is the source of this corruption (John 8:44). Thus, since Leftism (in all its varying shades) corrupts the truth, we can know without a shadow of doubt that when introduced, no matter how well intended, the end state always becomes antichrist (1 John 2:22). In order for the left to cement these changes into the framework of our Judeo-Christian based society, they have to a) destroy the traditional family unit, and b) target the next generation (i.e....the children). This is why they have been so adamant about incorporating Common Core, Darwinian Evolution, multiculturalism, "progressive" aberrant sex education, globalism, etc. into preschool and elementary level schooling through education, cartoons, and pop culture. In their mind, children are impressionable and the younger they can reach them, the better. Even better for them, is if these children come from impoverished and broken homes. (See doctrines of devils again) Add in the onslaught of prescription mood ameliorating behavior drugs, safe-spaces, micro aggressions, revisionist history, and the normalization of homosexuality, marital infidelity, abortion, gender "dysphoria," (et. al.) into the mix, and you have the most confused generation to have ever lived. This is intentional. This is by design. However, if you mention the reality that LGBTQ is targeting children, you will immediately be labeled a hateful bigot and persecuted to the fullest extent the left can dish out. Yet time after time, we see pedophilia rear its ugly head in scandal after scandal whether we are talking about Hollywood, Pizzagate, "elitist" circles, and so on. In a bit of what I think is divinely inspired irony, there is a movement afoot today to add a "P" to the LGBTQ acronym. The "P" would stand for Pedophilia, or as that term is being redefined to MAP (Minor Attracted Person). I say "divinely inspired" simply because the Left has for so long denied that children were their primary target. Now, even this is bubbling to the surface and it is as if God had put a spotlight revealing where their true ambitions lie. Understandably, many within the LGBTQ community are not comfortable with this arrangement with the pedophilia group being added, but their alignment was the most expected conclusion to their rainbow coalition from the beginning. When you look at how their goals centers around ignoring basic biology and mandatory tolerance, what other conclusion could this have led too? For example: If a grown man can identify as a woman and use a women's restroom or play sports as a female, why can't he also identify as a 9-year old? If an adult is willingly ignoring biological truths such as sex or gender, why is it then such a stretch to willingly ignore age? Or Ethnicity? Or even our humanity? Do you see the conundrum? You cannot on one hand excuse homosexuality and transgenderism as normal by ignoring genetics and biology, and then deny that same exception to those who are "Minor Attracted Persons" without playing the hypocrite. This is why at some point; pedophilia will be normalized just as transgenderism was. Anytime one departs from the Biblically sanctioned positions of either abstinence or marital fidelity (one man married to one woman), then everything following simply becomes shades of a spectrum on a downward spiral to sexual deviancy. This is in part, is why I believe ALL children under the age of accountability are taken up in the Rapture. When the world gets past the tipping point (the normalization) of where they begin openly targeting children for sexual and ritual abuse (ex. pizzagate), as well as corrupting them to the point where they are spiritually scarred forever, the Lord will come. This (amongst other things like genetic manipulation) is what Noah and Lot's day had in common; evil (wickedness) was normalized. Pedophilia is the last rung on that sexual deviance ladder. Some might ask the question, well, what about abortion? The left successfully enshrined the murdering of the most innocent among us for over forty-years now through Roe v. Wade. Granted, abortion had been legal in certain states before 1973, but with the Supreme Court's decision, abortion became a hallowed rite of passage for the political left. Not just here but in Israel as well (legal since 1977). Since then, over sixty-million babies have been killed in the womb. Why hasn't God already judged us for that and other sexual deviancies decades ago? If we look back to the days of Noah, God stated that the whole world had become corrupt and wicked (Gen. 6:5, 12-13). Either all flesh had already become completely corrupted 100 years before Noah finished building his ark (Gen. 6:12), or through God's omniscience, stated it soon would be as a matter predictive certainty. Either way, by the 600th year of Noah's life, the ark was complete, the animals had begun converging onto the Ark, all of Noah's sons were married, and their patriarch Methuselah had died. The bottom line is that all these events seemed to converge in one year (the 600th). Although we do not know the day or hour, we can see all the prophetic markers converging in our day: sin has become fashionable, the legalization/enshrinement of abortion as a constitutional right, the acceptance of homosexuality and other deviant lifestyles, and finally the normalization of transgenderism and pedophilia. However, simply using Noah and Lot (Luke 17:26-30) to show how this generation is about to be judged seems counterintuitive to my article since they too dealt with that same kind of sexual deviancy in their day (circa 2400BC). Nevertheless, these deviant lifestyles have been a part of the human story since Adam and Eve were first expelled from the Garden. Where we see judgment fall, is not necessarily when these things occur, but when the surrounding community embraces it as normal. Then a collective judgement falls. This is why the rise of leftist-ideology has been so instrumental in destroying the west and accelerating their date toward divine judgment. Leftism promotes an incremental hardening of the heart by perverting the truth, and even go so far as to penalize those who would speak the truth. It is an all-out satanic ideological device which prevents anyone under that system, from ever coming to the knowledge of the truth as to be saved (1 Thess. 2:16). For this very reason... ...the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Professing to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things. Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen. For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful; who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them. Romans 1:18-32 Conclusion I believe we are in the last stages of being "given over." If we add in all the other markers we see today: The rebirth of national Israel, the reunification of Jerusalem, the geopolitical posturing of the gentile nations, the rise of apostasy, the rapid advancement of technology, the decline of Christendom, and blurring the lines between truth and lies, we can see we are close. We are in that proverbial 600th year, and the world is too far-gone to ever recover from our impending date with judgment, despite what anyone has to say. Even within most of Christendom, Christ has been placed on the outside by an increasingly apostate church, and He is currently knocking on the door seeking those from this generation who are still willing to sup with Him (Rev. 3:20-22). The problems conservatives and Christians face today, is deep-rooted and multifaceted. We are facing a generation that has been dumbed down and told they are nothing more than cosmic accidents that came from monkeys. Furthermore, they have been fed cultural and moral relativism for the better part of a century. Adding fuel to that fire is the rise of liberal theology, which diminishes Christ, the cross, and the resurrection (i.e., the Gospel) in favor of social justice, materialism, and a whole host of faulty, aberrant theology. Make no mistake, Leftism (as a social and political ideology) is wholly INCOMPATIBLE with true, Biblical Christianity. Moreover, because many have bought into the lies of humanism and Leftism, their hearts are hardened and increasingly given over to the spirit of antichrist (1 John 4:3, 2 John 1:7). This willful ignorance is no longer being ignored nor tolerated. Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent, because He has appointed a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness by the Man whom He has ordained. He has given assurance of this to all by raising Him from the dead." Acts 17:30-31 God has provided His Son as payment for mankind's sin. God has provided His apostles and prophets, most of whom were martyred for their faith. God has given us proof for our faith in Scripture, in history, in archeology, by His Holy Spirit, and throughout Creation itself as a testimony. In other words, man no longer has an excuse. If man continues on the path he is going (he will), then the only place left to go, is into the arms of wrath, judgment, and damnation. Although these days are growing darker and darker, God has not left us (His Church) here abandoned to our own devices. Whether death comes at one's last breath, or at the Rapture, God will deliver His own just as He delivered Noah and Lot in their days. It is not my opinion this will happen, it is straight from God's word. Even though God is longsuffering and patient, His patience towards evil is not limitless. God will not be mocked. Judgment is coming. "The non-intervention of God bears very heavy interest, and He is greatly to be feared when He does nothing. He moves in long orbits, out of sight and sound. But He always arrives. Nothing can arrest the judgment of the Cross; nothing shake the judgment-seat of Christ" (PT Forsyth in The Justification of God) The Stakes in Syria Continue to Rise - Caroline Glick - https://www.breitbart.com/jerusalem/2018/07/30/caroline-glick-the-stakes-in-syria-continue-to-rise/ The threat that Iran will choose to initiate a devastating war in the Middle East, from its perch in Syria, continues to rise. Last Thursday, forces wearing Syrian military uniforms along the Syrian side of the border with Israel at Quneitra in the Golan Heights hoisted the Syrian flag at the border crossing. It was the first time the regime had asserted its control over the border zone since 2014. The regime's reconquest of southwestern Syria, along the borders with Jordan and Israel, in recent weeks has been accompanied by repeated penetration of Israeli territory by projectiles from Syria. Last Tuesday, Israel shot down a Syrian Air Force Sukhoi 22 that crossed into its territory. Last Wednesday, so-called Islamic State (ISIS) forces in southern Syria shot two missiles into Israel that fell into the Sea of Galilee just a few dozen yards from beachgoers. The Israeli navy located one of the missiles, but is still looking for the other one, which reportedly failed to detonate. Israel deployed its David's Sling ballistic missile defense system for the first time this week against projectiles launched from Syria. The system failed to intercept a Syrian missile, which was eventually shot down by a Patriot missile battery. Aside from the ISIS missiles, which Israeli security officials believe were shot to pull Israel into the Syrian civil war, military officials believe that the other penetrations of Israeli territory from Syria were errant events caused by navigation and firing errors, and Israel's close proximity to battle areas. Israel shot down the jet to secure its deterrence by making clear all violations of its sovereignty will be met with force and counterattack. While it is not easy to know what the future holds, it is clear enough that for now, the bad guys have won the war in Syria. Syrian President Bashar Assad, who deliberately and brutally murdered hundreds of thousands of his own people and caused 6 million of his countrymen to flee their homes, has survived despite promises by the Obama administration and its partners that he would not survive the war in power. Assad owes his survival to two outside powers: Iran and Russia. Iran has directed Assad's war effort, including his mass killing from the outset of the war in 2011. Through its Revolutionary Guards Corps and its Hezbollah and Shiite militia proxies, Iran supplied the ground forces to secure Assad's control of territory. Assad needed these forces because over the years, at least half of his armed forces deserted their posts. Today, Assad still lacks the manpower to hold the territories he is reclaiming. Iranian-controlled forces still comprise the bulwark of the "Syrian regime forces." As Iran supplied Assad with his army, Russia has served as his air force since 2015. Had Russian President Vladimir Putin not sent his bombers to Syria, Assad and his Iranian controllers would probably have lost the war. In exchange for saving him, Assad gave Putin the Khmeimim air base and the Tartus naval base. This outcome is deeply problematic for the U.S. and for Israel. Russia's position in Syria has made it both the most powerful actor in Syria and a major power broker in the Middle East as a whole. So long as U.S. and Russian positions are unaligned, particularly in relation to Iran, Russia's empowerment comes at America's expense. For Israel, Russia's appearance in Syria ended the air superiority it has held since 1982. Once Putin stepped in, any thought of Israel helping to overthrow Assad disappeared. Israel's primary interest in the war has from the outset was to prevent Iran from transferring precision weapons to Hezbollah forces in Lebanon through Syria. Since it became clear that the Iranian-controlled Assad regime would defeat its opponents, Israel's goal has been to end the Iranian presence in Syria altogether. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has worked avidly to forge an operational partnership with Putin in the hopes of diminishing Russia's commitment to Iran generally, and to Iran's control over the Syrian regime more specifically. To Putin's credit, he has opted to avoid confrontation with Israel and to accept Israel's right to attack his Iranian partners. But his strategic ties to Iran remain significant and present a major challenge to Israel and the U.S. This is the case because Iran's position in Syria poses a massive threat to Israel. Unlike the Syrian regime, which avoided direct conflict with Israel after Israel destroyed its air force in 1982, Iran is interested in a war with Israel. Iran's Hezbollah proxy army has exerted effective control over Lebanon since 2008. Hezbollah has 150,000 missiles pointing at Israel. Its forces have now gained massive combat experience through their participation in the war in Syria. Hezbollah also has effective control over the U.S.-armed and trained Lebanese Armed Forced, (LAF). Iran's control over the Syrian ground forces increases the prospect of war not only against Israel, but against U.S. forces in the Middle East and against Saudi Arabia. Iran's threats against oil shipments through the Straits of Hormuz in the Persian Gulf and the Bab el Mandab at the mouth of the Red Sea - the two sea lanes that control all seabound oil shipments from the Middle East - cannot be seen in isolation from its presence in Syria. There is a possibility that Iran may choose to begin a major war against the U.S. and its allies by attacking Israel from Syria and Lebanon. Add to that the fact that Iran controls the Hamas regime in Gaza as well, and we are looking at the prospect of a war breaking out along any one of these Iranian-controlled fronts, which could easily become a regionwide war. This week, Saudi Arabia was forced to suspend its oil shipments through the Bab el-Mandab when Iranian-controlled Houthi forces in Yemen attacked two oil tankers traversing the narrow strait. Given this state of affairs, the main question is: how can Iran be contained? From a military perspective, the U.S. and Israel have limited assets in Syria. Israel is willing to deploy its air force against Iranian targets throughout Syria. But Israel will not deploy ground forces to Syria unless it is forced to do so in the framework of a major war. The U.S., for its part, has 2,000 special forces in Syria on the eastern side of the Euphrates, and air assets at Tanf air base located along the Syrian border with Jordan and Iraq. The U.S. can call up significant forces as well in Iraq. President Donald Trump said Wednesday that the U.S. has no intention of removing its forces from Syria so long as Iran threatens the region through its deployment in Syria. But it is fairly clear that U.S. public opinion and Trump's own disposition rule out any major deployment of additional U.S. forces in Syria. Over the course of America's campaign against ISIS in Syria, the Kurdish-dominated Syrian Democratic Forces have served as America's ground troops. If the U.S. provided them with proper guarantees, the Kurds would probably be willing to assist in operations against Iranian-controlled regime forces in order to secure their territory in northeastern Syria. Then there are the Sunnis. National Security Adviser John Bolton has spoken about eventually replacing U.S. forces in Syria with allied Arab forces. While a combined Saudi, United Arab Emirates, and Egyptian force could be helpful in providing ground troops, it is doubtful that they could succeed in a mission to contain or defeat Iran without U.S. command-and-control and air support. The U.S. also has major economic leverage. Its sanctions against Iran, which will begin to go into effect in August and will go into full effect in November, will paralyze Iran economically. Iran is already in the grips of the worst economic crisis in decades. The return of U.S. sanctions against it will render the regime incapable of providing basic services, and significantly expand the prospect of a major effort by the Iranian people to overthrow the regime. While this is the desired endstate for the U.S., Israel, the Sunni Arab states, and most of the nations of the world, the Iranian regime may decide to go to war with its back to the wall simply to try to bring down its enemies with it. And the implications of such a war for the world economy could be devasting. Just as Hezbollah has 150,000 missiles pointed at Israel, Iran has thousands of missiles pointed at Saudi Arabia's oil platforms. Given the limited nature of U.S. and Israeli assets in Syria, and the possible military implications of bringing the regime to the brink of collapse economically, diplomacy must form a major component of any strategy whose goal is to coerce Iran to leave Syria without provoking a major Middle Eastern war. To achieve any diplomatic goals, it is necessary to work with Putin. Trump's summit with Putin on July 16 in Helsinki was organized in large part to achieve an agreement regarding Syria. It is still unclear what the two leaders agreed to, but what is clear enough is that a follow-on meeting between Netanyahu and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov on July 23 failed to achieve meaningful results. In response to the U.S.-Israel demand that all Iranian forces be removed from Syria, Lavrov offered to withdraw Iranian forces to a distance of 100 kilometers from the Israeli border. Netanyahu and Israel's security leadership scoffed at the offer, pointing to the fact that Iranian, Hezbollah, and Shiite militia forces are all operating along the Israeli border in Syrian uniforms. Netanyahu reinstated Israel's demand that all Iranian forces and Iranian-controlled forces withdraw from Syria and added three new demands. He insisted on the closure of Syria's borders with Iraq and Syria; the destruction of the Iranian precision-guided missile factories operating in Syria; and the removal of the surface-to-air missile batteries now protecting the missile factories. Lavrov in turn, rejected the Israeli demands. It is not clear whether Russia is facilitating Iranian operations in Syria because the Russians cannot prevent them, or if Putin is simply waiting for an offer from the U.S. and Israel that he cannot refuse. What is absolutely apparent is that Special Counsel Robert Mueller's probe of alleged Russian interference on behalf of Trump in the 2016 elections - and the brutal onslaught against Trump by the media, the Democrats, and former Obama administration officials in the aftermath of his summit with Putin - make it impossible for the Trump administration to pursue a diplomatic course with Russia. This, despite the fact that such a move is critical to prevent war. Israeli military officials assess that Assad and Iran will not rush into a conflict with Israel. And Russia has made clear that it will not support their operations against the Jewish state. But the danger lurks and grows with each passing day. It is clear enough that given the enormous stakes in Syria, as events unfold, all U.S. and Israeli assets in relation to Iran/Syria - military, economic and diplomatic - should be deployed in a coordinated manner to eject Iran and its proxies from Syria while avoiding a major war. It is a major setback that due to the Mueller probe, and the U.S. media's mobilization on its behalf, America is blocked at this critical juncture from seeking a diplomatic accord with Russia that would contribute significantly to the achievement of this vital goal. But for many years, Turkey has been on the wrong side by being an ally of the West and an enemy of Russia. However, on July 8, 2018, America's ambassador to NATO warned that Russia is trying to draw away Turkey (and it is working). Second, according to the Bible, Iran (Persia; Ezek. 38:5) and others will attack Israel in the latter days and latter years. Iran and others may strike Israel first, or they may do it as retaliation for Israel attacking Iran. Anyway, on July 13, 2018, it was reported that the U.S. and Israel have set up a joint U.S.-Israeli task force called "Project Iran" to coordinate and implement a potential attack on Iran. "Project Iran" will oversee four Command Groups: one will focus on nuclear targets in Iran; a second will focus on missile storage and launch sites in Iran; a third will focus on Iranian targets in other nations; and the fourth will focus on attacking Iran's economy. Third, according to the Bible, the Antichrist will come out of the EU (Dan. 9:26) and Satan will empower him to head up a one-world government during the Tribulation Period (Rev. 13:3-7). On July 16, 2018, Pres. Trump and Pres. Vladimir Putin met; and it has been reported that they vowed to destroy the New World Order (world government), and the EU quickly urged them not to. Opposing the coming satanic one-world government is a good thing, but they will fail. Fourth, according to the Bible, the False Prophet will head up a global religion and conspire with ten political leaders (Ten kings) to enrich themselves, persecute and kill those who become believers during that time (Rev. 17:1-6). A writer named Baxter Dmitry recently reported that a Bishop that lives at the Vatican (Athanasius Schneider) told a newspaper (La Repubblica, date not given, but around July 10, 2018) that the Vatican has been infiltrated with globalist leaders that are determined to eradicate Christianity in Europe and the West. According to Bishop Schneider, "One of their key tactics involves flooding European countries with migrants in order to dilute the Christian base and radically change national culture and identity." The article said Pope Francis is one of those leaders, and Bishop Schneider suggested that the globalists at the Vatican are being paid by George Soros. Pope Francis and the religious globalists at the Vatican are conspiring with New World Political leaders to establish an antichrist world religion. Fifth, according to the Bible, the Antichrist and False Prophet will be able to track all buying and selling during the Tribulation Period (Rev. 13:15-18). On July 14, 2018, it was reported that several Baseball stadiums have started using fingerprint scans to allow visitors to pass through security faster. Fans can pay for technology that allows them to enter the stadium by scanning their fingertips. In the future, a face scan will get them in. Along this same line, China expects to have facial recognition software soon that can recognize any face, anywhere, anytime. Sixth, according to the Bible, the Jews will rebuild the Jewish Temple and resume the animal sacrifices before the middle of the Tribulation Period (Dan. 9:27). On July 3, 2018, Prime Min. Netanyahu relaxed some of the rules regulating visits by government officials to the Temple Mount. The number of Jews visiting the Temple Mount is small but growing. They have always failed on both fronts. American peace plans are bound for failure because they tend to discount the complexities of the violent Arab-Muslim reality and because they are wedded to oversimplified solutions, wishful thinking and quick fixes. The plans have been plagued by a never-ending clash between the West's desire for short-term agreements for the sake of convenience and the need for arrangements that serve real national security interests over the long haul. The plans have been undone by the volcanic eruptions in the Arab-Muslim world since the seventh century: a violent tribal-religious-ideological fragmentation, intolerance, a lack of regional and local coexistence, minority-led regimes that deny human rights, unstable governments and flawed agreements. Other factors that doomed those plans include misguided insights that frame the Arab-Israeli conflict as a Middle Eastern conflict, and trace the regional terrorist activities to the Palestinians issue because it is "the root of the conflict." The so-called Arab Spring, which had nothing to do with the Arab-Israeli conflict and the Palestinian issue, led to the collapse of these insights. The focus on the Palestinian issues, when the U.S. and its allies face much greater threats, has eroded America's deterrence, as well as its regional and global status. U.S. peace plans have always tried to make Israel make far-reaching concessions that undermine its very existence while rewarding systematic violence. This is why they only further encouraged terrorism. They have always drawn an immoral equivalency between the Arab/Palestinian aggressor and the Israeli victim; between Islamic terrorism and the Israeli counterterrorism measures; between America's most reliable ally and the Palestinians, who have consistently allied themselves with America's enemies and adversaries (Nazi Germany, the Soviet bloc, Iran, Saddam Hussein, Osama bin Laden, North Korea, Cuba and Venezuela). All of the peace plans have made the Palestinians become even more radicalized, making peace even harder to achieve and only hurting the United States and turning it into a preferred target for Islamic terrorism, despite the heavy American pressure on Israel. William Rogers, Henry Kissinger, Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush and Barack Obama, as well as others, all tried and failed. But despite the serial failure on this front, the United States has played a vital role in the peace agreements with Jordan and Egypt, and in promoting cooperation between Israel and pro-American Arab states in the Persian Gulf. America must learn the lessons of its failures. It must not present another version of its past plans. It would be well-served by leveraging its game-changing influence and capabilities in a way that promotes strategic initiatives for direct ties between Israel and its neighbors, which would help counter the regional turbulence and bolster Israel's national security. Many believe we are in the midst of a revolution, even a civil war. The lack of civility among friends, family, neighbors and others over the current President continues to increase as the news media and the regressive left vehemently criticize everything the man does. John Nolte of Breitbart News, for example, has documented some 538 acts of violence against supporters of Donald Trump since the 2016 election. The name calling, the labeling, the animosity is worse than many of us have ever seen it. Not to worry. Christians, take heart. We are to overcome evil with good and not grow weary in doing it. Every phone call you make. Every letter you write. Every email you send. Every word you speak. Be encouraged. The Lord said in Isaiah 55:10-12, "For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, and returns not thither, but waters the earth, and makes it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goes forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands." Neither be offended. The Lord says in Ezekiel 3:17-19, "When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and you give him not warning, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand. Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul." No matter how long, no matter how difficult things become, do what the Lord tells you to do. As you do these things unto the Lord, you have made a transfer, so to speak, from yourself to others. It is now on them to act responsibly with the information. You have done your part. God sent his only begotten Son to die on the cross for our sins that we might have life everlasting. It's up to us to share the many facets of living out our salvation. 2 Corinthians 4:7-10 exhorts: "But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body." Keep going. Keep doing. You never know when your action may be that last full measure needed to advance God's plan. Never give up. It doesn't have to be that way. The problem is that for many, the Great Commission is perceived more as the Great Suggestion. For others, the Great Commission is the Great Omission. Who is called to go into all the world and preach the gospel? We are. In Matthew 28, Jesus said, "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you" (verses 19-20 NKJV). And in Mark's gospel, Jesus said, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature" (Mark 16:15 NKJV). From these verses, we see that every Christian is called to go into the world and proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ, and, to the best of his or her ability, lead people to Christ. I believe that for us to not go into all the world and preach the gospel actually can be a sin. There is the sin of commission, which is doing what you should not do, but there is also the sin of omission, which is not doing what you should do. The Book of James says, "Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin" (James 4:17 NKJV). We have the gospel. We have the way for people to change their eternal address from Hell to Heaven. Yet many of us won't leave our comfort zones. We will not go and talk to someone who has never heard about Jesus. We need to get over our reluctance, because we're commanded by Christ to preach the gospel.
