https://www.raptureready.com/2020/08/06/the-final-charge-by-alice-childs/ Beloveds, we are very near the culmination of the great battle of the ages that was begun when Lucifer, Son of the Morning, rebelled against his Creator, and the mystery of iniquity that would result in the fall of mankind was born. Family of God, everything in human history - every conflict, every lie, every act of violence, every theft, every ounce of pride, every cold-hearted and self-loving attitude, every murder, every torture, every war - ALL have been the result of man following Satan's lies in rebellion against Creator God. This is the crux of the entire fallen, sin-wrecked, Hell-bound world. All that we are witnessing now and all that is yet to come is a result of the everlasting hatred and rebellion of Satan against Jehovah God. We are living at the terminus of a revolt that was begun before man was created. Tragically for all mankind, Adam, the first man, deliberately chose rebellion, following the lies of the Serpent. Satan has hated those of every generation who have, by God's grace through faith, believed and called upon God the Son for salvation. Satan has ALWAYS hated those who love God. He has persecuted God's people in every generation from Adam's until this very second. We are the final generation. It should come as no surprise to us as this millennia-old conflict reaches its apex that we who are called by Jesus's name, washed by His blood, rescued from eternal death by His blood - like those believers before us - we too in these last closing moments of the great Conflict of the Ages will be mocked, abused, hated, and some murdered and martyred for His namesake. Satan has killed billions throughout the ages. And those he has not killed he has, to one degree or another, persecuted in every way allowed to him. We know that we are at the very end just before the rapture; therefore, we also know that Satan is pulling out all the stops because he knows his time is short. We know that all their masks are off now. We see Satan's agenda clearly among those who are deniers of God's truth and those who are openly hostile to God and His Word. We see all the masks of civility and common decency being ripped away. Behind the facade, the grinning, gibbering, insane hatred of Satan and his demons is being clearly revealed. Believers in the first-century church saw the evil behind the political mask of Rome as millions died a martyr's death because Satan hates God. They saw the demonic hypocrisy of the religious Jews who also hated and denied their own Messiah and persecuted and killed ALL, both Jews and Gentiles, who did believe on Jesus as Messiah and Savior. Millions upon millions saw the glowering hatred behind the false and demonically deceptive piety of the Roman Catholic Church. Those who believed in Jesus alone endured untold horrors at the hands of the Church of Rome in the numerous waves of persecution throughout the centuries, including the spawned-in-Hell savagery of the Inquisition. In every pagan culture that has ever existed, those who have chosen to follow God have faced Satan's wrath and fury. And although Satan tried his best and although billions have lost their earthly lives, they loved the name above all names, Jesus their Savior, more than they loved their own lives. Billions have been killed by Satan and his minions; nonetheless, God ALWAYS has a remnant that Satan cannot touch, cannot silence, cannot eradicate, and cannot defeat. God ALWAYS has a remnant. In our GENERATION, WE are that Remnant. Depending on when Jesus calls us up, not all of us as part of the body/bride of Christ may make it to be alive at that glorious moment, but we WILL "ALL BE CHANGED." Dead or alive, we of this final generation will partake of this glorious event, either by being resurrected from our graves or caught up in the air. Before God delivers His Remnant Church and His final judgment begins, we believers in these end times find ourselves face-to-face with the blazing, demonic hatred of the last generation of reprobate, God-hating, demon-possessed humanity who are rabidly crying out for the one who will be the Antichrist. These demon-possessed God-haters whose ranks even now are swelling to fill the earth are rabidly working to destroy every vestige of freedom and every mention of God, salvation, and the name of Jesus across the earth. We are witnessing their ranks swelling and their hatred and demonic fury rising. They hate us because they hate God. They despise us because they despise the name of the crucified and risen Savior Jesus Christ. They hate His Word as well because it is through the prophetic Word - that has already been fulfilled, is being fulfilled at this moment, and that is shortly to be fulfilled - that Satan and all his horde know their doom is at hand. Prophecy coming will consummate the eternal defeat of Satan. These modern reprobates, just like all who have hated and rejected God's so great salvation, hate the eternal triune God-head. They hate the incarnate Christ. They especially hate His infallible, inerrant, and immutable Word because it records their doom. And finally, they hate each of us who are believers called by His name and cleansed by His blood. They hate us because they hate Him. We are so very close to the deliverance of the Church, both dead and alive, via the resurrection/rapture. Family of God, it is now that we MUST gird ourselves in our spiritual armor. We must wield the Sword of the Spirit effectively as we "earnestly contend for THE faith" (Jude 3). Any moment now, we will hear the sound of God's celestial trumpet. Any moment now, we will hear King Jesus's shout for us to "Come up hither!" Family, we are in the last seconds of the last minutes of the last days just before the Remnant Church is caught up to meet our Lord in the air! Don't get discouraged now! No matter how bad things get here, keep sharing the gospel! Keep warning of coming judgment even if no one is listening. They may not listen now, but after we are gone, many WILL heed and remember. Finally, keep looking up! Brethren, we KNOW Satan's tactics; they have never changed. He uses lies, deceit, discord, depression, fear, envy, pride, and intimidation. Nevertheless, regardless of his wiles and tactics, we KNOW that he is an ALREADY DEFEATED FOE. To the eternally saved and sealed believer in Christ, Satan and all his fallen angelic and demonic horde are nothing more than paper tigers who can do NOTHING to eternally saved and eternally kept believers. Oh, he may kill our body IF the Lord allows him that power, but he can NEVER have our blood-bought, eternally sealed spirits because WE BELONG TO THE ONE WHO BOUGHT US WITH HIS BLOOD AND SEALED US BY HIS RESURRECTION! Family of God, don't be afraid of what's going on around us, no matter how bad it gets or how close it comes to our door. Don't cower in fear; stand in faith! We must pick up our Bibles, bow our heads and hearts before the Lord, and then stand firm upon His Word. As we make our final charge - as we give our final push - let us contend for the faith until the moment that we either draw our last breath, or until our vile bodies are changed from corruptible to incorruptible, from mortal to immortal "in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye." Our deliverance is just barely beyond our line of vision. As the late Jack Kelly used to say, "We can almost hear the footsteps of the Messiah!" Be encouraged, be bold, be wise, be faithful, and be EXCITED because the redemption of our bodies (Romans 8:23) draws (very) near! A joint statement by U.S. President Donald Trump, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan-the crown prince of Abu Dhabi-announcing the "Abraham Accord," a peace deal between Israel and the United Arab Emirates, is the first since Jordan signed such an agreement in 1994. What does this deal include, and what does it portend for the future? Richard Goldberg, a senior adviser at Foundation for Defense of Democracies, told JNS that "the peace agreement paves the way for full normalization of diplomatic, trade and travel relations between Israel and the UAE." But this is apparently only the start of a broader relationship between Israel and the Persian Gulf states. Trump hinted as such during his statement to the press when he said, "I think you'll be seeing some very exciting things, including ultimately with the Palestinians." Netanyahu also hinted at future diplomatic ties during his press conference when he said, "I believe there is a good chance we will soon see more Arab countries joining this expanding circle of peace." Joshua Krasna, an expert on strategic and political developments in the Arab world at the Jerusalem Institute for Strategic Studies, as well as a senior fellow in the Foreign Policy Research Institute, told JNS that "over the last few years, there has been a slow, but steady buildup in relations between Israel and the Gulf states. Israeli businessmen have been going back and forth for a while, and Israeli ministers have attended conferences." For example, former Transportation and Intelligence Minister Yisrael Katz visited Oman in 2018. Former Minister of Culture and Sport Miri Regev also visited the UAE that year. "Since 2007, there has been a steady drumbeat of a message that Israel is improving its relations with moderate Arab countries," said Krasna. But the big change came in 2018 when Netanyahu went to Oman. At the time, there was a great deal of talk that a diplomatic breakthrough was expected imminently. The joint statement said that the three leaders had "agreed to the full normalization of relations between Israel and the United Arab Emirates," and Krasna noted that the United States and Israel seem to be touting full normalization as a closed deal. Still, Bin Zayed wrote on Twitter that the deal means "cooperation and setting a roadmap towards establishing a bilateral relationship," which is much softer and more ambiguous language. Saudi Arabia has 'biggest decision to make of all' The Arab Peace Initiative, a 2002 Saudi-led proposal that called for Israel's full withdrawal from the disputed territories in exchange for normalization with the Arab world as a starting point, has now been tossed out the window as clearly normalization has now come first. According to Goldberg, Saudi Arabia now has "the biggest decision to make of all." If presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden wins the U.S. election in November, Goldberg said "there are pro-Iran, anti-Gulf voices in the Democratic Party who will work to cut off U.S. arms sales to Riyadh next year." If so, he noted, Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman will be "worse off politically if the UAE has a peace treaty with Israel and Saudi Arabia doesn't." Goldberg even warned in an Aug. 7 Newsweek article of the consequences for Saudi Arabia and the UAE if they don't sign historic peace deals with Israel. He wrote, "A Biden administration will be tempted to re-enter the Iran nuclear deal, returning to the Obama-era strategy of seeking a balance of power between the Islamic Republic and its Sunni Arab neighbors." He also wrote that "with Iran once again flush with cash from U.S. sanctions relief and importing advanced conventional arms from Russia and China, MBS [Bin Salman] and MBZ [Bin Zayed] will have only one true ally in the Middle East: the State of Israel." "Arab-Israel regional integration is critically important to isolate Iran," he added in his comments to JNS. "Iran's hold on the region will continue to weaken as its neighbors grow stronger both economically and strategically." 'A strong win going into the elections' According to Krasna, this is a win for both the UAE and Israel as "the UAE can claim it got annexation taken off the table. Netanyahu can claim a major achievement on the wider Arab-Israeli conflict front. As opposed to the joint agreement that says annexation has been "suspended," Bin Zayed wrote on Twitter that "an agreement was reached to stop further Israeli annexation of Palestinian territories." During his press conference, Netanyahu emphasized that annexation is still on the table, and that he plans to go through with it. But according to Krasna, the current political climate doesn't allow Netanyahu to go ahead with it anyway, so with this deal, he "gets an elegant face-saving and significant reward for something he wasn't going to be able to do anyway. He wasn't going to be able to push the annexation, certainly not before the U.S. election." Krasna said this is also a win for the United States as it gives Trump a major foreign-policy achievement ahead of the U.S. elections. "It will give him a very strong win going into elections," he said. Circling back to whether other Arab-world nations might follow suit and sign peace agreements with Israel, Goldberg said that over the last few years, "most people thought Bahrain would go first since they led the way on warming relations with Israel." He predicted that Bahrain will be next to make peace with Israel. "We should expect an announcement from Manama at some point soon," said Goldberg, adding that he presumes other nations will follow suit. Mabruk AND Mazol Tov!!! - A.V. As we press into the second half of this rather volatile and challenging year, something amazing and unheard of has just taken place. In light of what is already shaping up to be a HOT month, with several fires occurring daily worldwide and the major announcement of Democratic Presidential candidate's running mate VP candidate Kamala Devi Harris in lieu of the upcoming elections in the United States and despite the COVID Epidemic gripping the world's economies......THERE IS PEACE IN THE MIDDLE EAST!!! President Donald Trump has successfully brokered full diplomatic relations between the Nation of Israel and the United Arab Emirates. Ever since its inception in 1948 (which was 72 years ago), only two other nations have made similar agreements with Israel: Jordan and Egypt. This announcement makes the United Arab Emirates the first Gulf Arab state to have active diplomatic ties with Israel. Moving forward it is very possible that more Arab and Muslim countries will follow the UAE. My guess is Bahrain, but who knows. I can't imagine Turkey joining this group unless, well that would have to be discussed in another post. Interestingly enough, this initiative is being referred to as the ABRAHAM ACCORDS! The key issue here from a prophetic standpoint is that this deal will most likely halt Israel's annexation plans and the building of settlements on lands sought by the Palestinians. This was land that is not to be given up according to God's covenant with Israel. That ultimately will lead to the Day of the LORD: Joel 3:1-2- For, behold, in those days, and in that time, when I shall bring again the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem,2 I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land. Let me also make this very clear: This is NOT the Peace Deal or "Covenant with many" spoken of by the Prophet Daniel in Chapter 9 in the Book of Daniel: Daniel 9:27-And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate. However, could this a pre-cursor to the covenant of many that the coming world leader otherwise known as the Antichrist confirms for a period of seven years?? That in itself is yet to happen. The Bible also tell us that the coming World Leader will be a "Little Horn." In other words, someone who rises to prominence and emerges on the World scene. Daniel 8:9-11- And out of one of them came forth a little horn, which waxed exceeding great, toward the south, and toward the east, and toward the pleasant land.10 And it waxed great, even to the host of heaven; and it cast down some of the host and of the stars to the ground, and stamped upon them.11 Yea, he magnified himself even to the prince of the host, and by him the daily sacrifice was taken away, and the place of the sanctuary was cast down. Now, one can argue that the UAE is and of itself a federal constitutional monarchy made up from a federation of seven hereditary tribal leaders. So perhaps this could be that covenant but is is yet to be confirmed. Perhaps when that happens you will also hear about Jerusalem as well as the building of the third temple which I believe is not too far off in the near distant future. It was interesting to note that just this week practically the entire government of Lebanon resigned after the explosion near the port of Beirut. There is a void of leadership in Lebanon as of now. The area of Syria, Lebanon and the Golan Heights in Israel is important to monitor in the very near future. Could this Little Horn emerge from this area in the very near future?? In reference to Daniel 8:9-11- And out of one of them came forth a little horn, which waxed exceeding great, toward the south, and toward the east, and toward the pleasant land... if the "pleasant land," Is Israel and we know historically all invasions against Israel came from the North, if one is looking from that trajectory, then Lebanon (as does Syria) falls into that periphery. But for now, what has happened today is historic in the sense that it brings peace between two of the world's most forward leaning, technologically advanced states, let alone two of the oldest nation that sprung forth through the Seed of Isaac and the Seed of Ishmael. Nonetheless, the accuracy Of God's prophetic Word has a track record of 100% accurate. What has happened today is yet another piece of the puzzle that is unraveling in the Middle East as the Church Age is rapidly coming to its conclusion and the onset of the Tribulation Period, otherwise known as the Time of Jacob's Trouble is not far ahead. Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem and even more importantly obtain the free gift of salvation that comes through Jesus Christ!!!! Maranatha!!! Devices and Dementia - By Terry James - https://www.raptureready.com/2020/08/12/devices-and-dementia-by-terry-james/ This commentary will, I anticipate, meet with considerable eye-rolls and head-shaking. What a fuddy-duddy, I can imagine the thinking will be behind the eye rolls and the head shakes. (The very fact that I use the term "fuddy-duddy" makes me a candidate for the very dementia to which I, at least cursorily, link their beloved devices.) By the term "dementia," I refer to a spiritual condition rather than a physical-mental one. Although medical studies put forth that total absorption in the cyberspace of the devices that are everywhere we look can cause organic disturbances, the spiritual damage might be, in my view, incalculable. Smartphones and the many other devices that demand all but total allegiance to their human automatons are used by the powers and principalities in high places in their wicked endeavors. That is, the observably, highly addictive instruments turn the already-fallen minds of people, young and old, to directions other than toward God, who created humankind to fellowship with Him and to be His family for eternity. We're seeing the results of Satan having brought about the Twitterverse-a generation of social media-transfixed people who now have or are rapidly moving toward thinking in any direction other than God. Of course I'm not referring to everyone in social media. Not every user of Facebook, Twitter, or other social media venues engage within the arenas of anti-God thinking. Many ministries use these as tools to put forward teachings from the Bible and the saving gospel message (that is, if their posts or tweets or whatever aren't banned or taken down). However, the vast majority of device users are held in what seems to be inescapable gravity. Those caught in the grip of cyberspace, by and large, think and communicate in terms that encompass anything but things of God and the Bible. The result is fulfillment of Bible truth. When people get away from principles of how to live God's way, upside-down or reprobate thinking becomes the norm. The devices have evolved from instruments for entertainment to those designed to evoke and cultivate a collective mindset that more and more embraces anti-biblical actions and activities. I believe it explains, at least in part, the insanity we are witnessing in every direction we look. Again, here are the apostle Paul's words that frame the matter. It's an all-encompassing and powerful indictment from on high, to be sure. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful. (Romans 1: 28-31) Just like in the case of any human invention, the devices are not in themselves evil. In my teenage years, I heard all the warnings that TV would be the ruination of the nation with entertainment from the devil-influenced minds in Hollywood. Well, I'm not so certain that those warnings weren't well placed. I sure didn't think so at that time. Neither, I'm sure, will the youth or even the more mature device users of today agree with my thoughts here. But to anyone who looks around and is honest, this world suffers from a dementia that grows progressively worse. It has brought about a divide, a schizophrenia, within the culture in America. I maintain that it is the electronic device instrumentalities that have at least exacerbated, if not engendered, the cultural and societal divide I propose it is the all-pervasive electronic devices that are culpable in the matter of the reprobate mindset that has developed in this time so near the end of the age. I was recently sent an article that, in my estimation, helps explain how Satan and his minions, both human and demonic, have been able to induce anti-God thinking through the ubiquitous electronic devices of our time. The article was by a person who worked within mental institutions of earlier times. What is happening today in the West increasingly reminds me of what I saw in that long-stay mental hospital many decades ago, but is less humane. Today, when a person displays signs of deviating from political correctness, the cultural overseers leap into action and denounce the behavior and the culprit, whose guilt is incontestable. If confession, contrition, and penance are not instantly forthcoming, the only sentence is to be declared a "far-right bigot," with the likely result that the mainstream news media will then pick up the story and try to ruin what is left of the pitiful target's life. Only the most courageous and resourceful will stand fast to their values and principles and defy the modern Maoist cultural revolutionaries of the radical progressive liberal-Left. The task of enforcement by the latter is, however, made considerably easier by the almost ubiquitous Smartphone, which makes social conditioning extremely easy. The Smartphone functions as a virtual Skinner box. The original Skinner box was constructed of clear Perspex inside which a hungry pigeon pecked at a lever. A reward of grain was delivered only for the desired behavior. Today the box is virtual, as humans tap the keys of their smartphones. Usage of social media from these smartphones appears to be highly addictive, and can turn even previously well-adjusted people into obsessive narcissists who crave 'likes' and will leap onto any bandwagon in an attempt to increase their virtual popularity. Combine this with the credulousness and gullibility of willingly impressionable youth and one has the ideal material for social conditioning. Hence the smartphone as a virtual Skinner box. The radical progressive liberal-Left have-with great enthusiasm-seized upon this opportunity to socially-condition the young and anyone else with high suggestibility, and are intent on turning tens of millions of people into compliant instruments of their political will. The astonishing feature of all this is that the involuntary but mostly compliant subjects of this vast experiment in social engineering appear to lack any insight into what is being done to them. They have surrendered their critical faculties to invisible minders who program them to feel emotions, think thoughts, deliver utterances, and commit acts at the behest of hidden controllers who can avoid taking any responsibility for what ensues. And, perhaps most alarming of all, these cultural automatons are voluntarily giving up their cultural history, allowing it to be replaced by political propaganda which misrepresents the past. The result is that such people live in a present that is created and controlled by someone else, as is their future. Their lives are no longer their own, yet they are oblivious of this. Even the person chosen to be its presumptive candidate in the upcoming presidential election is front and center in exhibiting the reprobate thinking. And I don't mean to be cruel with my assessment. The proposals and rhetoric of this particular political party go against practically every former rationale in the political process for appealing to Americans who love and want the best for their nation. This proves, I'm convinced, the degree of reprobate thinking that now infects their ranks. That party's leadership apparently insanely believes that a majority of Americans now want to tear down the nation's founding and rebuild with ideology and structure of a socialist/Marxist sort. I don't think it to be taken out of context to use the following in the matter of devices and dementia. Neither do I mean it to be taken as a pun or tongue-in-cheek. God's Word is truth. Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices. (2 Corinthians 2: 11) Daily Jot: The Farm Chronicles: Tricks of the Trade - Bill Wilson - www.dailyjot.com Tricker was the family pony. We all had to start out riding him. He was a black and white pinto with four white socks and a triangle of white on his rump, just over his tail. He was ornery as the day was long. He would try your patience and literally play every trick on you that he knew to chase you around the field so he didn't get caught, or make like he was going to kick you, or when you were riding him he would find a nice low branch to try to get you off his back. There were many times when Tricker would be cantering along on a trail and for no reason at all, make a sideways jump and off you would go, only to look up and see him snorting, shaking his head, and bucking as he galloped off, not even caring to look back. That's how we learned to ride. One of my earliest memories was sitting on Tricker as a baby, not even walking yet. I kid you not, we were in the back yard and I remember my brother Chuck setting me up on Tricker and held me while Dad led us around the yard. It is key to my claim that I was riding horses before I could walk. It's true. One day, my buddy Sonny came over and I asked him if he wanted to take turns riding Tricker. He was quite excited about the idea, but first we had to catch him. We took the halter and a bucket with some grain out and approached him. "Here Tricker, Tricker, Tricker," I said while slyly showing him the grain in the bucket by picking it up and letting it slip back in through my fingers. Tricker would play the game for a bit. Ears up, nose forward, he sweetly acted like he was taking the bait. Then suddenly, ears back and mouth open ready to bite, he rushed us. We dropped the bucket and ran, Tricker chasing behind us head down, bucking and farting until he knew we were far enough away from the bucket. Then he calmly trotted back and ate the grain. We were at an end of what to do when I asked my brother Larry to catch him. Like usual, Larry just went out there and called him. Tricker came up to him and lowered his head, let Larry put the halter on him and lead him to the barn. Larry had to go somewhere and he was running late so he told us we would have to saddle Tricker ourselves. Once again, the pony was up to no good. He acted like he wanted to bite us. Then he acted like he wanted to kick us. Then, as we persisted through the struggle, we got the saddle on and led him out of the barn, not noticing a small detail. I went to put my foot in the stirrup and lo and behold the saddle was actually on backwards. We had to start all over again. Finally, we got to ride Tricker a few rounds before Sonny's mom came to pick him up. I'm sure the brother of Jesus, James, knew about ponies like Tricker when he used the example of controlling our tongues. In James 3:3, he wrote, "Behold, we put bits in the horses' mouths, that they may obey us." It's the getting the bit in the mouth of that unruly horse that may be the biggest challenge. And so it is with us as humans, too! Each time there are new features, but all I really want is a phone that has enough battery life to get me through the day. I don't care about the color of the phone or all the extras, because those things don't help me when I'm constantly plugging in, recharging, plugging in, and recharging. In the Christian life, however, we want to stay permanently plugged in. We want to stay plugged in to Jesus Christ. The Bible tells us, "Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might" (Ephesians 6:10 NKJV). But the Devil doesn't want that. He wants to get you as far away from God as he possibly can. So, here's what you need to do: Start your day with the Lord. When you get up in the morning, don't start your day with social media. Don't start your day with checking your emails or texts or the news-especially these days. Instead, start your day with the Word of God and with prayer. That will equip you to deal with all the stuff that comes your way during the day through your emails, texts, and everything else. And remember this simple statement: "He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4 NKJV). In other words, God is more powerful than the Devil and all the demons. That's why I stand in the Lord and in the power of His might. I don't stand in myself and the power of my own might, because I can quickly collapse-just like you can. Stand in the Lord and in the power of His might. And keep as much distance from the Devil as possible.
