http://raptureready.com/soap2/ungurean108.html As I read the agenda for the 2015 Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations, I believe that the Lord opened my eyes and allowed me to see with clarity that this meeting and its agenda was to prepare the way for the coming Antichrist I have placed excerpts from the agenda in this article. Those readers with discernment will likely see what is happening here without my commentary. For those who may be a bit confused, I will add my words to further explain. The excerpts from the UN agenda will be italicized. We will seek to build strong economic foundations for all our countries. Sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth is essential for prosperity. This will only be possible if wealth is shared and income inequality is addressed. Marxism in its purest form - the sharing of income and wealth. We recognize the positive contribution of migrants for inclusive growth and sustainable development. We also recognize that international migration is a multi-dimensional reality of major relevance for the development of countries of origin, transit and destination, which requires coherent and comprehensive responses. We will cooperate internationally to ensure safe, orderly and regular migration involving full respect for human rights and the humane treatment of migrants regardless of migration status, of refugees and of displaced persons. Such cooperation should also strengthen the resilience of communities hosting refugees, particularly in developing countries. We underline the right of migrants to return to their country of citizenship, and recall that States must ensure that their returning nationals are duly received. (emphasis mine) Many people in the world have wondered about the forced migration of Muslims to Europe and America. Where was this decision sanctioned? Well, I believe it is clear that the Sustainable Development agenda of the U.N. in 2015 was behind this plan. Did you read "Strengthen the resilience of communities hosting refugees, particularly in developing countries?" I can't name even ONE third world country which is being bombarded with so-called Muslim refugees! We envisage a world free of poverty, hunger, disease and want, where all life can thrive. We envisage a world free of fear and violence. A world with universal literacy. A world with equitable and universal access to quality education at all levels, to health care and social protection, where physical, mental and social well-being are assured. A world where we reaffirm our commitments regarding the human right to safe drinking water and sanitation and where there is improved hygiene; and where food is sufficient, safe, affordable and nutritious. This excerpt screams of eugenics!! "Behavioral, developmental and neurological disorders, which constitute a major challenge for sustainable development." They are in essence saying that people with these afflictions are creating a tremendous pull on society! You will see throughout this agenda that they speak of eradicating hunger on the earth. If you have read my articles on Bill Gates and his foundation, you will remember that the vaccine program which bears his name, has been exposed as a way to sterilize and even kill people in third world countries. His foundation was sued by India when scientists analyzed the vaccines and found harsh chemicals in them. Many young women had gotten terribly ill after being given the vaccines. Depopulation is the hidden "agenda." The new Agenda is guided by the purposes and principles of the Charter of the United Nations, including full respect for international law. It is grounded in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, international human rights treaties, the Millennium Declaration and the 2005 World Summit Outcome Document. It is informed by other instruments such as the Declaration on the Right to Development. We reaffirm the outcomes of all major UN conferences and summits which have laid a solid foundation for sustainable development and have helped to shape the new Agenda. You will see the phrase "International Law" in much of what comes out of the United Nations. Their goal is a One World Government, and they are not hiding it. We are meeting at a time of immense challenges to sustainable development. Billions of our citizens continue to live in poverty and are denied a life of dignity. There are rising inequalities within and among countries. There are enormous disparities of opportunity, wealth and power. Gender inequality remains a key challenge. Unemployment, particularly youth unemployment, is a major concern. Global health threats, more frequent and intense natural disasters, spiraling conflict, violent extremism, terrorism and related humanitarian crises and forced displacement of people threaten to reverse much of the development progress made in recent decades. Natural resource depletion and adverse impacts of environmental degradation, including desertification, drought, land degradation, freshwater scarcity and loss of biodiversity, add to and exacerbate the list of challenges which humanity faces. Climate change is one of the greatest challenges of our time and its adverse impacts undermine the ability of all countries to achieve sustainable development. (emphasis mine) Wow! They sure packed a lot of their propaganda in that excerpt, did they not? Glaring Marxism, Terrorism (but not Islamic - they must be politically correct) And of course they slipped in their all-time favorite "Climate Change." Pope Francis became the spokesperson for "Climate Change" at the September 2015 meeting of the U.N. Almost fifteen years ago, the Millennium Development Goals were agreed. These provided an important framework for development and significant progress has been made in a number of areas. But the progress has been uneven, particularly in Africa, least developed countries, landlocked developing countries, and small island developing States, and some of the MDGs remain off-track, in particular those related to maternal, newborn and child health and to reproductive health. We recommit ourselves to the full realization of all the MDGs, including the off-track MDGs, in particular by providing focused and scaled-up assistance to least developed countries and other countries in special situations, in line with relevant support programs. The new Agenda builds on the Millennium Development Goals and seeks to complete what these did not achieve, particularly in reaching the most vulnerable. (emphasis mine) As you can clearly see, these goals have been spoken of and written about for years at the UN. And oh, that pesky Africa - what will they ever do with them? I'll tell what they will do - they will rid the planet of a great portion of them through vaccines and other means. In case you did not know; "reproductive health" is synonymous with ABORTION. This is blatantly satanic! "And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him" (Revelation 12:9) We are setting out together on the path towards sustainable development, devoting ourselves collectively to the pursuit of global development and of "win-win" cooperation which can bring huge gains to all countries and all parts of the world. We reaffirm that every State has, and shall freely exercise, full permanent sovereignty over all its wealth, natural resources and economic activity. We will implement the Agenda for the full benefit of all, for today's generation and for future generations. In doing so, we reaffirm our commitment to international law and emphasize that the Agenda is to be implemented in a manner that is consistent with the rights and obligations of states under international law. We reaffirm the importance of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, as well as other international instruments relating to human rights and international law. We emphasize the responsibilities of all States, in conformity with the Charter of the United Nations, to respect, protect and promote human rights and fundamental freedoms for all, without distinction of any kind as to race, color, sex, language, religion, political or other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth, disability or other status. Oh yes! A win-win for all. More aptly put: A win-win for Satan and his worker bees. The new Goals and targets will come into effect on 1 January 2016 and will guide the decisions we take over the next fifteen years. All of us will work to implement the Agenda within our own countries and at the regional and global levels, taking into account different national realities, capacities and levels of development and respecting national policies and priorities We will respect national policy space for sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, in particular for developing states, while remaining consistent with relevant international rules and commitments. We acknowledge also the importance of the regional and sub-regional dimensions, regional economic integration and interconnectivity in sustainable development. Regional and sub- regional frameworks can facilitate the effective translation of sustainable development policies into concrete action at national level. Please notice that nothing is said about the rights of the people of the nations of the world. No - it is being made perfectly clear that the U.N. representatives will be dictating to their respective countries what they MUST do to be in compliance with this New World Order. People who are vulnerable must be empowered. Those whose needs are reflected in the Agenda include all children, youth, persons with disabilities (of whom more than 80% live in poverty), people living with HIV/AIDS, older persons, indigenous peoples, refugees and internally displaced persons and migrants. We resolve to take further effective measures and actions, in conformity with international law, to remove obstacles and constraints, strengthen support and meet the special needs of people living in areas affected by complex humanitarian emergencies and in areas affected by terrorism. Here they used the word "empowered" speaking of the most vulnerable people on the earth. I believe this to mean that they will be helped to diminish the population of their countries by empowering them with vaccines and abortion and perhaps mass genocide. The U.N. Sustainable Development agenda is so clearly Satanic. It is the promise of the Antichrist system which will deceive the world. They don't speak of the billions of people who must be slaughtered. They want depopulation, and not in a small way. They would like to see 95% of the world go away. That's billions of people! Again, we see the importance of U.N. controlled migration. They said this twice, so I imagine it is of vital importance to their agenda. We acknowledge that the UNFCCC is the primary international, intergovernmental forum for negotiating the global response to climate change. We are determined to address decisively the threat posed by climate change and environmental degradation. The global nature of climate change calls for the widest possible international cooperation aimed at accelerating the reduction of global greenhouse gas emissions and addressing adaptation to the adverse impacts of climate change. We note with grave concern the significant gap between the aggregate effect of Parties' mitigation pledges in terms of global annual emissions of greenhouse gases by 2020 and aggregate emission pathways consistent with having a likely chance of holding the increase in global average temperature below 2 °C or 1.5 °C above pre-industrial levels. Looking ahead to the COP21 conference in Paris in December, we underscore the commitment of all States to work for an ambitious and universal climate agreement. We reaffirm that the protocol, another legal instrument or agreed outcome with legal force under the Convention applicable to all Parties shall address in a balanced manner, inter alia, mitigation, adaptation, finance, technology development and transfer, and capacity-building, and transparency of action and support. Climate Change is without a doubt, the vehicle to the globalization of the world's economies. Sustainable development cannot be realized without peace and security; and peace and security will be at risk without sustainable development. The new Agenda recognizes the need to build peaceful, just and inclusive societies that provide equal access to justice and that are based on respect for human rights (including the right to development), on effective rule of law and good governance at all levels and on transparent, effective and accountable institutions. Factors which give rise to violence, insecurity and injustice, such as inequality, corruption, poor governance and illicit financial and arms flows, are addressed in the Agenda. We must redouble our efforts to resolve or prevent conflict and to support post-conflict countries, including through ensuring that women have a role in peace-building and state-building. We call for further effective measures and actions to be taken, in conformity with international law, to remove the obstacles to the full realization of the right of self-determination of peoples living under colonial and foreign occupation, which continue to adversely affect their economic and social development as well as their environment. (emphasis mine) Peace and Security! Where have we seen that, brethren? "For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape" (1 Thessalonians 5:3). We pledge to foster inter-cultural understanding, tolerance, mutual respect and an ethic of global citizenship and shared responsibility. We acknowledge the natural and cultural diversity of the world and recognize that all cultures and civilizations can contribute to, and are crucial enablers of, sustainable development. (emphasis mine) Global Citizenship = ONE WORLD GOVERNMENT. Means of Implementation The scale and ambition of the new Agenda requires a revitalized Global Partnership to ensure its implementation. We fully commit to this. This Partnership will work in a spirit of global solidarity, in particular solidarity with the poorest and with people in vulnerable situations. It will facilitate an intensive global engagement in support of implementation of all the Goals and targets, bringing together Governments, the private sector, civil society, the United Nations system and other actors and mobilizing all available resources. The means of implementation targets under Goal 17 and under each SDG are key to realizing our Agenda and are of equal importance with the other Goals and targets. The Agenda, including the SDGs, can be met within the framework of a revitalized global partnership for sustainable development, supported by the concrete policies and actions as outlined in the outcome document of the Third International Conference on Financing for Development, held in Addis Ababa from 13-16 July 2015. We welcome the endorsement by the General Assembly of the Addis Ababa Action Agenda, which is an integral part of the 2030 (emphasis mine) Global partnership - the bringing together of countries under the banner of the sovereignty of the United Nations. What's not clear about that? Sounds like Satan means business. Agenda for Sustainable Development. We recognize that the full implementation of the Addis Ababa Action Agenda is critical for the realization of the Sustainable Development Goals and targets. Millions have already engaged with, and will own, this Agenda. It is an Agenda of the people, by the people, and for the people - and this, we believe, will ensure its success. A better world - did you see that? A better world for whom? I would say the goal is a better world for the system of the Antichrist to flourish in its evil agenda for mankind. We encourage ongoing efforts by states in other fora to address key issues which pose potential challenges to the implementation of our Agenda; and we respect the independent mandates of those processes. We intend that the Agenda and its implementation would support, and be without prejudice to, those other processes and the decisions taken therein. We recognize that there are different approaches, visions, models and tools available to each country, in accordance with its national circumstances and priorities, to achieve sustainable development; and we reaffirm that planet Earth and its ecosystems are our common home and that 'Mother Earth' is a common expression in a number of countries and regions. 'Super-modern vessel' to have sound 'of thunder and its power and speed is that of lightning' A prominent Iranian ayatollah says the Mahdi, the end-times Muslim savior, will come back in a spaceship with the sound "of thunder and its power and speed is that of lightning." Actually, his recent explanation wasn't completely clear. "It is like a spaceship and like other swift and amazing space vessels that are found [only] in stories today, but nobody knows how close [these vessels] come to truth and reality. Maybe it will be like [a spaceship] but in any case it is not a spaceship," he said. His description was discovered in an Iranian news report by the Middle East Media Research Institute, which monitors and analyzes media reports in the region. The comments came from Grand Ayatollah Naser Makarem Shirazi, who operates his own website to promote his views. He was respoinding to a question about the "arrival of the Mahdi - the Hidden Imam who is the equivalent of the Messiah in Shiite Islam," MEMRI reported. "He explained at length how the Mahdi's arrival will be high-tech, as befits the modern age," MEMRI said. "House of War: Islam's Jihad Against the World" conveys what the West needs to know about Islam and the violent, expansionary ideology that seeks the subjugation and destruction of other faiths, cultures and systems of government His comments included: "It was said by Imam Sadegh [the sixth Shiite imam, circa. 700-765 C.E.]: 'When our Lord arrives, the land will be illuminated by divine light, and [God's] creations will no longer require sunlight.' The interpretation of this saying is that the issue of light and energy is expressed in that both in daytime and nighttime powerful lights can replace sunlight." Therefore, God grants him this tool... "Another hadith states: 'A bestial vessel is reserved for your Lord and Friend [the Mahdi]. What is the meaning of 'bestial vessel'? A cloud that is loud as thunder and fast as lightning, upon which he rides. Be aware that soon he will [appear] riding on clouds, and ascending to seven heavens and seven lands.' This does not refer to an ordinary cloud, as clouds are not vessels that can be sailed upon in outer space. [Clouds] travel near the atmosphere that is close to the earth, and they cannot attain great altitudes. Therefore, the meaning here is an extraordinary and very swift vessel that looks like a dense cloud in the sky; its sound is that of thunder and its power and speed is that of lightning. When it moves, it slashes the heart of the sky with extraordinary force, and in this way it can advance to any point in the firmament. Therefore, this is a super-modern vessel, and there is none like it today. It is like a spaceship and like other swift and amazing space vessels that are found [only] in stories today, but nobody knows how close [these vessels] come to truth and reality. Protecting nuke facilities is paramount, says Iran air commander as state TV airs images of Russian-made S-300 launchers Tehran has deployed a recently delivered Russian-made long-range missile system to central Iran to protect its Fordo nuclear facility, state television said Sunday. Protecting nuclear facilities is paramount "in all circumstances" General Farzad Esmaili, the commander of Iran's air defenses, told the IRIB channel. "Today, Iran's sky is one of the most secure in the region," he added. A video showed an S-300 carrier truck in Fordo, raising its missile launchers toward the sky, next to other counter-strike weaponry. The images were aired hours after supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei gave a speech to air force commanders, including Esmaili, in which he stressed that Iranian military power was for defensive purposes only. "Continued opposition and hype on the S-300 or the Fordo site are examples of the viciousness of the enemy," Khamenei said. "The S-300 system is a defense system not an assault one, but the Americans did their best for Iran not to get hold of it," he said. The Russian-made missile defense system is one of the most advanced of its kind in the world, offering long-range protection against both airplanes and missiles. The first shipment arrived in Iran in April. In 2010 Russia froze a deal to supply the system to Iran, linking the decision to UN sanctions instituted because of Tehran's nuclear program. Putin lifted the suspension in July 2015, following Iran's deal with six world powers that curbed its nuclear program in exchange for relief from international sanctions. Israel has long sought to block the sale to Iran of the S-300 system, which analysts say could impede a potential Israeli strike on Tehran's nuclear facilities. Other officials have expressed concern that the systems could reach Syria and Hezbollah, diluting Israel's regional air supremacy. The Fordo site, built into a mountain near the city of Qom has stopped enriching uranium since the January implementation of the nuclear deal. Under the historic accord, Iran would have dismantled most of its estimated 19,000 centrifuges - giant spinning machines that enrich uranium, keeping only 5,000 active for research purposes. Meanwhile, Iran maintains a diverse ballistic missile defense system and conducts regular missile tests. Though not banned by the nuclear agreement, the tests violate United Nations resolution 2231, which calls on Tehran to refrain from ballistic missiles development, including testing, for eight years. Tehran has said it would continue developing its ballistic missile program even after UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon and other world leaders have said the missile tests were not in the spirit of the nuclear deal. Iran has maintained it never sought to acquire nuclear weapons and never will, and the agreement does not prohibit legitimate and conventional military activities.

The Islamic Republic News Agency, a official government-funded news agency of the Islamic Republic, reported Sunday that the Ayatollah Khamenei came out hard against the U.S. during a government meeting and said that Iran will respond to any enemy aggression with "overwhelming blow". The comments were made during a meeting with commanders and officials of Khatam al-Anbia Air Force headquarters of Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Ayatollah Khamenei, referred to as Iranians as the "Supreme Leader", spoke out aggressively against enemies, specifically the United States, who try to hold them down and keep them from building the military power to defend themselves. Khamenei conveyed the importance of the country's Air Force as the first line of defense. The leader of the Islamic Republic praised his own country's defense capabilities while viciously exonerating the U.S. and the Obama Administration for showing hostility towards their nation. The Ayatollah Khamenei said, "Our enemies are made up of the global arrogance and the world Zionism, the dirty natured and deceitful camp with tyrannical ideology. They have resentment to the Iranian religious beliefs, independence and the non-compromisory spirit of Iranian nation." "Once the hostility is represented in the form of the US administration and another day in the form of such tyrannical regime as Saddam;" he continued, "but what's of importance is that we should use many capacity available to the country and identify the stances and plans of the enemy to make right decision to thwart the threats." He continued by speaking about the S-300 Russian missile system that they recently received, claiming that the defensive system could not be used for offense yet the U.S. opposition to their acquisition to the system showcases the American's hostility towards Iran. 'The S-300 system is defensive and not offensive. However, Americans did their best to prevent Iran from taking delivery of such a facility." He said. "We face such an enemy that does not recognize any right of defense for our nation. In fact, it says you should remain defenseless so that when we wish we can invade you." The Ayatollah Khamenei has been outspoken about his opposition to the United States in recent days. Just last week the leader of the Islamic Republic said in a meeting with Iranian President Hassan Rouhani and his cabinet ministers in Tehran that "no U.S. government can be trusted." "This experience teaches us that promises by no US government can be trusted and nothing concrete should be done in lieu of their promises," he said. "My criticism pertains to the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), non-commitment and the evilness of the other side and it has nothing to do with our own officials because the negotiators have made round-the-clock efforts at their best and we appreciate these efforts." After a year of the JCPOA being put into place, the Ayatollah Khamenei continues to build resentment for the U.S. stating that "the Americans want to take everything in return for nothing. Negotiations with such a government mean diversion from the correct path of the country's progress, making repeated concessions and bearing their bullying, violations and disloyalty in practice." Despite criticism from U.S. citizens thinking the Obama Administration has been more than lenient with the Iranians: allowing them to have nuclear capabilities, giving $400 million cash for the release of hostages, etc., the Ayatollah continues to believe that the administration is far too overbearing for the Islamic regime. The comments also come on the heels of Iranian Foreign Affairs Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif's controversial week long trip to Latin America to build relations with America's Southern neighbors.

A major shift has occurred in the balance of power in the Middle East. Following the failed Turkish coup of mid-July, Turkey, a member of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, has become excessively and suspiciously close to Russia. Earlier this month, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan flew to Moscow to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin. The meeting resulted in both nations agreeing to mend the bilateral relations strained after the shooting down of a Russian military jet by Turkey in November. Because Erdogan had already apologized in June for the downing of the plane, the pathway is open for Russia to gradually lift economic sanctions on Turkey, including restrictions on sightseeing trips to the country and an import ban on Turkish livestock and agricultural products. One possible reason why Erdogan has gone from describing Putin as a foe to calling him his "dear friend" is due to the help Russia provided during the coup. It now appears that Russian intelligence tipped off Erdogan just hours before the planned overthrow of his regime. When the coup plotters got wind of the Russian communications with Erdogan loyalists, they moved up their plans several hours. Deprived of the element of surprise, the coup failed, and Erdogan is ready to switch from NATO to the Russian side. The sudden lack of trust between Washington and Ankara has raised safety concerns over nuclear weapons stored at the Incirlik Air Base in Turkey. The European news outlet EurActiv.com, quoting two independent sources, said the Pentagon, has ordered the emergency evacuation to Romania of an estimated 50 B-61s, (which is a tactical nuclear bomb that's carried by fighter jets with a blast yield of up to 340 kilotons). Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim has given Russia the go-ahead to use its Incirlik air base for operations in Syria. Though no official request from Moscow to use the strategic military facility has been made, an upper house member of Russia's Parliament, Igor Morozov has said that "It just remains to come to an agreement with Erdogan that we get the NATO base at Incirlik as our primary airbase." According to the MP, Incirlik would give Moscow a strategic advantage providing for a swifter conclusion to Russia's anti-terrorist operation in Syria. A key reason for the reset is energy. Putin wanted to restart the Turkish Stream Project, which will transport 63 billion cubic meters of natural gas from the Russian Black Sea coast to Turkey and on to Europe. With Russia and Turkey acting as partners, Europe will have little left to do but continue to be dependent on energy coming from Mother Russia. This "kiss and makeup" between Turkey and Russia is important to prophecy watchers. With Iran also part of this lovefest, we now have all the key nations of the Gog Magog invasion in place. The only thing that remains is the "hooks into thy jaws" motivation that triggers the invasion of Israel. I believe the Rapture is the next major prophetic event; the Church's departure may be what gives Putin the confidence making such a daring move. "And say, 'Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal: And I will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed with all sorts of armour, even a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords: Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya with them; all of them with shield and helmet: Gomer, and all his bands; the house of Togarmah of the north quarters, and all his bands: and many people with thee. Be thou prepared, and prepare for thyself, thou, and all thy company that are assembled unto thee, and be thou a guard unto them. After many days thou shalt be visited: in the latter years thou shalt come into the land that is brought back from the sword, and is gathered out of many people, against the mountains of Israel, which have been always waste: but it is brought forth out of the nations, and they shall dwell safely all of them. Thou shalt ascend and come like a storm, thou shalt be like a cloud to cover the land, thou, and all thy bands, and many people with thee.' As you will see below, drug overdose deaths involving heroin and prescription opioid pain relievers have soared to unprecedented levels, and in some areas of the country health authorities are finding themselves absolutely overwhelmed by overdose cases this summer. Law enforcement officials are doing what they can to combat this epidemic, but because Barack Obama has left our borders wide open the gangs are able to transport these dangerous drugs into this country with ease. As a result, we are facing a crisis on a level that we haven't seen since at least the 1980s. Let's start with some hard numbers. The following comes from the official CDC website... More people died from drug overdoses in 2014 than in any year on record. The majority of drug overdose deaths (more than six out of ten) involve an opioid.1 And since 1999, the number of overdose deaths involving opioids (including prescription opioid pain relievers and heroin) nearly quadrupled.2 From 2000 to 2014 nearly half a million people died from drug overdoses. 78 Americans die every day from an opioid overdose. We now know that overdoses from prescription opioid pain relievers are a driving factor in the 15-year increase in opioid overdose deaths. Since 1999, the amount of prescription opioids sold in the U.S. nearly quadrupled,2 yet there has not been an overall change in the amount of pain that Americans report.3,4 Deaths from prescription opioids-drugs like oxycodone, hydrocodone, and methadone-have also quadrupled since 1999.5 And keep in mind that those numbers are two years old. Things have gotten much, much worse since then, and this summer the numbers are off the charts. For example, just check out what is currently going on in the Cincinnati area... With an estimated 78 overdoses Tuesday and Wednesday alone, and an estimated 174 overdose cases in emergency rooms in less than a week, officials are scrambling to attack a heroin crisis of a magnitude they've never had before. "This is unprecedented to see as many alerts as we've seen in the last six days," said Hamilton County Health Commissioner Tim Ingram. He was referring to a surveillance system that alerts the public health department when an unusual number of drug-related emergency-room encounters occur. Elsewhere in Ohio, things are equally as bad. The following is from a report about the overdose epidemic in Richland County... One week in August produced 51 suspected drug overdoses and three deaths in Richland County, providing more fresh evidence the local heroin crisis appears to be rapidly escalating. The almost daily surge in overdoses impacts people well beyond addicts and their families, taking a growing toll on workers on the front line of helping people. Dr. Joseph Bocka, an emergency room physician at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital, said it's not uncommon for people drop off overdose victims and leave, to find patients with a needle sticking out of their arm or to treat same person multiple times. Some are more concerned about losing their high than dying. So where are the front page stories about this on the big mainstream news websites? Can't they stop talking about Clinton and Trump long enough to focus on the fact that countless numbers of Americans are becoming addicted to extremely dangerous drugs and many of them are dying? On the west coast, similar things are happening... In just 12 days, California's Sacramento Valley has seen 42 opioid overdoses resulting in 10 deaths. Even in a country that's watched opioid addiction spread at an alarming pace, this kind of overdose rate isn't normal. At least, up until now. These overdoses weren't caused by the prescription painkiller the users were believed to have been taking, called Norco. Instead, they had taken a street pill disguised to look like Norco that contained a chemical 50 times more potent than heroin: fentanyl. It is said that Fentanyl is up to 100 times more powerful than morphine. Nobody should ever be taking this outside of a medical setting, because the risk of overdose is extremely high. According to Fox News, West Virginia is the state with the most overdose deaths per capita, but New Mexico and New Hampshire are right up there as well... CDC statistics show West Virginia has the highest per capita rate of lethal overdoses in the nation, followed by New Mexico, New Hampshire, Kentucky and Ohio. The drug epidemic has not spared any communities, said Jim Johnson, director of the Mayor's Office of Drug Control Policy in Huntington. "Some 22 million people across the country suffer from substance abuse disorders, resulting in 50,000 overdose death rates each year," Johnson said. "This is right up there on that same level as terrorism and homeland security concerns in our country. That doesn't even count the number of people getting Hepatitis B and C and HIV." Needless to say, wherever there are drug addicts that are also gangs that are eager to make money off of them by selling them drugs. Barack Obama is originally from Chicago, but things have just continued to get worse and worse for the Windy City ever since he entered the White House. I have previously written about how there are now 150,000 gang members living in Chicago, and the violence in the city continues to escalate to new levels. In fact, this year there have been more shootings in Chicago than in New York City and Los Angeles combined. One of the recent shooting victims was a little 10-year-old boy named Tavon Tanner. The following comes from the Chicago Tribune... In the weeks since he was shot in the back, 10-year-old Tavon Tanner has undergone several operations to repair the damage from the bullet that tore through his small body and remains lodged between his shoulder and his chest. The fifth-grader is still in the hospital and still in pain, according to his mother Mellanie Washington. He doesn't talk as much and cries more often. Sometimes he'll ask if police have arrested the person who shot him. Overall, the month of August has been the most violent month for the city of Chicago in nearly 20 years. Here is more from the Tribune... Tavon was among more than 400 people shot in Chicago this month. There have been at least 78 homicides, marking August as the most violent month in the city in almost 20 years, according to data provided by the Chicago Police Department. And there are two more days to go. In the past, you could avoid most of the violence by staying away from the "bad areas" of the city, but now the violence appears to be spreading even to the "good areas"... Chicago's violent crime problem seems to be spreading to the historically safe "north side" neighborhoods. The spike in crime on the north side comes as Chicago's police department has diverted more officers to the city's violent south and west side neighborhoods to fight extreme levels of violence there. As reported by local Chicago news station WGN, violent crime is up 61% in the Loop this year with Near North Side up 50%, Lincoln Park up 42% and Edgewater up 44%. WGN also reports that officers have seemingly lost control of Chicago's streets as they're growing increasingly hesitant to confront people out of fear of being humiliated by the next viral arrest video. Meanwhile, local gangs are reported to be offering incentives to "cop killers." And of course Chicago is far from alone. It is only August, but Baltimore has already surpassed 200 homicides for the fifth consecutive year... Baltimore officially has had 200 homicide victims in 2016 after an autopsy confirmed a 42-year-old man found dead Friday just west of downtown had been fatally stabbed. The victim, identified Monday as Franswhaun Smith, was found Friday about 7:50 a.m. in the 700 block of Murphy Lane, in the Heritage Crossing neighborhood that was formerly the site of the Murphy Homes public housing development. The social fabric of our nation is literally coming apart at the seams all around us, and yet after eight years many Americans still don't know the name of our Vice-President. Great manufacturing cities such as Detroit were once the envy of the world, but now they have become global jokes. Our middle class is dying, poverty is exploding, our borders are wide open and our major cities have become infested with drugs and gangs. Anyone that cannot see that America is in decline is either uninformed or is simply delusional. Our once great nation is in an advanced state of rot and decay, and attempting to deny the obvious is not going to fix anything.

Everyday there is a new poll about the upcoming election. People are concerned when the polls are trending away from their candidates. But don't be alarmed. Polling is a science. The candidates themselves commission the best polls. They usually know the real story. To accurately reflect the situation, polls must be taken from a random sample; the questions must be asked in a way that do not bias the answer; and there can be no leading of the interviewee in any direction by the one asking the questions. The polls taken by the news organizations rarely follow these criteria. Their samplings are biased toward what they perceive as a larger Democratic base and the questions are slanted to lead the interviewee. Last night, I was subjected to a candidate's poll. It didn't even try to mask its bias. The statements it was making about the candidates were incredible. This poll, I believe, was testing how people react to certain attack themes the campaign wanted to employ against its opponent. They were themes along the lines of racism, bigotry, homophobia, putting guns in the hands of the mentally ill, denying a woman's right to an abortion, and so on. The questions started out like this: "Would you be more or less likely to vote for Donald Trump if you knew he has supported racism by..." or "Would you be more or less likely to vote for Hillary Clinton if you knew she supported the unequivocal right of a women to have an abortion?" Some of the themes that were tested were so outrageous that I couldn't help but comment that "while I don't believe that is the case, if it were true, I would be less likely to vote for the candidate." Even the one asking the questions started laughing at some of my comments because, he, too, knew the test questions were extreme. The one thing that I saw from this poll that is interesting to note is that the test themes all had a common theme-anyone who would vote for Trump will be labeled a racist and a bigot. Clinton, from the direction of this poll, appears to be seriously considering cornering the voters and dividing them based on racism and bigotry. If you don't want to be labeled a racist, you better vote Hillary. This is a longstanding political tactic of the Hegelian Dialectic used by communists to move people from what they think to what they want them to think. First, there is the thesis, which is your current way of thinking. Then there is the new thesis, the antithesis which, in this case would be "if you vote for this person you are a racist." Then there is the synthesis, where you think about this and know that you are not a racist, but maybe people think you are, so you vote in a way that you can say you are not a racist. Thesis, antithesis and synthesis-that's what these polls are probing. Discernment is needed to counter these messages so there is no deception. 2 Timothy 1:7 says, "For God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." Exercise your sound mind as led by the Holy Spirit.

Brethren, if a man is overtaken in any trespass, you who are spiritual restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness, considering yourself lest you also be tempted. -Galatians 6:1 Not every person who quotes the Bible is necessarily a believer. Those who quote the Scriptures to condemn others often are the guiltiest of all. Those who are quick to find fault with others often have greater fault in their own lives. The people who are so quick to come down on someone else often are guilty of far worse. This is exactly what Jesus was talking about when He said in the Sermon on the Mount, "And why do you look at the speck in your brother's eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye?" (Matthew 7:3). It's a humorous illustration, but it makes a point. Jesus was saying, "You are so quick to focus on the minutiae in another person's life, yet you are guilty of overt sin." If we know of someone who is falling into sin, our objective should be to confront and restore them, not condemn and destroy them. Galatians 6:1 says, "Brethren, if a man is overtaken in any trespass, you who are spiritual restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness, considering yourself lest you also be tempted." Our objective is to restore, not destroy. I find it interesting that this verse goes on to say, "Considering yourself lest you also be tempted." One day it could be you. One day you could be the person who stumbles and falls. One day you could be the person who makes that mistake, who commits that sin. And hopefully someone will come along in graciousness and boldness and help you get back on your feet again. As the old hymn says, "Prone to wander-Lord, I feel it-prone to leave the God I love." We have to constantly keep our guard up because we all have the potential to fall.
