If Not Now - When? - By Dennis Huebshman -
https://www.raptureready.com/2020/09/20/if-not-now-when-by-dennis-huebshman/ Matthew 24:36, "But concerning that day or hour, no one knows; not even the Angels in Heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only." Matthew 25:13, "Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour." (any emphasis mine) First, being part of the Trinity, Jesus had every right to know the exact second He would call His church (believers) to keep us from the wrath. While He was on this earth, He became fully human (Hebrews 2:9), and was totally submissive to the Father. He led by example as to how we should live. As He did His healings and other miracles, He gave all praise to the Father, and was in prayer to Him often. At the moment He was raised from the dead, I'm sure He was again totally God, and reclaimed His Omniscience (All Knowing). To sit down at the right hand of the Father was a sign of completion. Hebrews 10:12, "But when Christ had offered for all time a single sacrifice for sin, He sat down at the right hand of God." Romans 8:34, "Who is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the One who died; more than that, who was raised; who is at the right hand of God, who is indeed interceding for us." Colossians 3:1-2, "If then you have been raised [received Him as your Savior], seek the things that are above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of the Father. Set your mind on things that are above; not on things that are on earth." And of course, Hebrews 1:3, "He is the radiance of the Glory of God, and the exact imprint of His nature [He is God]; and He upholds the universe by the word of His power. After making purification for sins [our sins], He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on High." Just as we are certain Jesus lived a sinless life on this earth, was crucified on a cruel cross that we deserve, and was raised from the dead on the third day to conquer sin and death on our behalf, we can be certain that He will come again, as promised, to take us Home. By the way, He didn't "swoon" and not die as some would say. For a Roman soldier to allow someone to come off a cross and still be alive would have meant a death sentence for that soldier. Jesus, being fully human, experienced real death, and just as believers experience today when they die, His spirit immediately was with the Father. How else could He promise the repentant thief that "today, you will be with Me in paradise"? (Luke 23:43). On the other hand, I've used the parable of the rich man and Lazarus numerous times (Luke 16) as an example of what happens when someone takes their last breath on earth. The rich man was out of the will of the Father, and was already in torment, though not yet the Lake of Fire. Lazarus, in the will of the Father, was in paradise, or as stated, "In the bosom of Abraham." Over the past several months, it is very obvious this whole world is going through changes. To believe all this will settle down and go back to whatever "normal" is supposed to be just isn't going to happen. Matthew 24, Luke 21, and 2 Timothy 3 all give us end-time signs and attitudes that will be here near the end of this age. In 2 Peter 3:3-4 we're told that "knowing this first of all, that scoffers will come in the last days with scoffing [mocking, ridiculing], following their own sinful desires. They will say, 'Where is the promise of His coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep [died], all things are continuing as they were from the beginning of creation.'" Thing is, Satan is convincing many that everything is "normal" and that the problem lies with all believers. He is getting the way prepared for his ultimate evil antichrist and false prophet to appear. Sadly, a majority of the earth's population is falling prey to him and his demons. Christians are being labeled as "haters," and the persecution is just beginning. Things are not continuing as they were before. Satanic influence is obvious, and his followers are out in the open as never before. For believers, this is a sign we are close to experiencing one of the last remaining major prophecies to be fulfilled. Starting with 1 Corinthians 15:51-53; "Behold, I tell you a mystery. We shall not all sleep [die], but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed. For this perishable body must put on the imperishable, and this mortal body must put on immortality." Follow this up with 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17; "But we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers/ sisters, about those who are asleep [already dead], that you may not grieve as others do who have no hope [all unbelievers]. For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with Him those who have fallen asleep [believers' souls that have been with Jesus]. For this we declare to you by a word from the Lord, that we who are alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep. "For the Lord Himself will descend from Heaven with a cry of command; with the voice of an archangel; and with the sound of the Trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then, we who are alive, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will be with the Lord." Please note, the Trumpet in these passages is not one of the Trumpet Judgments of the wrath. Also, only the dead in Christ will rise up and be joined with their spirits to be given a forever imperishable heavenly body. Those who are alive will have their bodies converted on the way up to meet Jesus. No more pain, suffering of any kind, and no more death forever. Of course, there's a second side to this event that involves all from the beginning of creation, and all to the end of the millennial reign of Jesus that were, or will be, unsaved. They too will receive imperishable forever bodies at the Great White Throne Judgment of Revelation 20:11-15 that will be designed to last forever in the Lake of Fire. There will be no relief from their individual punishment, and even though they would want to cease to exist, this will not happen. Knowing that the unknown day or hour is rapidly approaching, why would anyone want to take a chance and put off calling on Jesus to be their Savior? I realize that many are totally "hooked" on what this world supposedly offers, and they don't consider the future of their eternal souls. It has become a "Me, Right Now" society. Jesus said we would know the season by what is taking place, just not the day or hour. "Twinkling of an eye" is instantaneous - less than one second. Being prepared beforehand would be very advisable. So, if you haven't accepted the Savior, but believe you will "a bit later," are you willing to gamble that He won't come today? Satan would love for you to keep putting it off. Therefore, the question remains; If Not Now - When? After the Rapture, it will be possible for people to be saved because Revelation 6:9-11 tells about those killed during the tribulation/wrath. However, to avoid the tribulation/wrath altogether would be the best and wisest choice you could ever make. Call today - He's ready to prepare a place for you. Shalom! [email protected] There is Peace, and then there is PEACE! - by Olivier Melnick - https://www.newantisemitism.com/featured-post-1/there-is-peace-and-then-there-is-peace Don't quote me wrong, I have no intention of minimizing the event that took place at the White House on September 15, 2020. It was truly historic! Considering the geopolitical crisis that has punctuated the Middle East since Israel's birth as a modern nation on May 14, 1948, any Israeli/Arab peace treaty is a monumental achievement. There had only been two in 72 years. Egypt was the first in 1978 at Camp David under Jimmy Carter and between Anwar El Sadat and Menahem Begin. It was followed by Jordan in 1994, at the White House under Bill Clinton and between King Hussein and Yitzhak Rabin. Then came the 2020 negotiations in the Middle East under Donald Trump and his team, and the impossible took place; the United Arab Emirates declared that they would normalize relations with Israel and soon after them, Bahrain followed suit. While nobody knows the details of what is to happen next, President Trump hinted at the fact that 5-6 other Arab nations are lined up to normalize relations with Israel. This is truly changing the entire dynamics of the Middle East. The Abraham Accords (Abraham being the father of both Jewish and Arab nations), as they are being called, are truly history being written in front of our very eyes. The positive aspect of such an event is most definitely welcome in 2020, a year that until now, could have been renamed "The year of all tragedies." In an exclusive interview with Vice President Mike Pence, Joel Rosenberg confirmed that the current administration desires to go the extra mile to strengthen US/Israel relations after they had been strained by the previous administration. Pence called Israel,"our most cherished ally" and said that "the president had decided from the very beginning of his administration that he was going to do everything he could to strengthen the U.S.-Israel alliance and try to advance peace." What a departure from the shaky relations that the US had under Barack Obama! Incidentally, Pence also mentioned that it was Democrat President Harry Truman who recognized Israel literally moments after Ben Gurion had declared independence in Tel Aviv. The Peace Treaties that were signed are very special because they open the door to more countries in the region, and that is a good thing. Additionally, they put Iran and the Palestinian Authority on notice. When more countries like Saudi Arabia, Oman, Sudan and others decide to normalize relations with Israel, the Middle East as we have known it for the last several decades will be a thing of the past. Iran, already weakened by major US sanctions, is seeing its hegemony of the region erode by the day. As to the Palestinians, their response to the peace deals was still typical of their ideology and agenda; they sent missiles onto Israel from Gaza. The consensus from the Palestinians is that "there will be no peace until Palestine is free." For now, the Palestinian Authority has decided to dig its heels in the sand, but with a weakened Iran increasingly unable to finance Hamas and Hezbollah, the tide might turn soon. The Palestinian narrative might become irrelevant. Wow, I never thought I would say that in my lifetime! We are truly living as critical history is being written. It is about peace. But there is peace and there is PEACE! Again, I do not wish to brush aside the momentous event that took place days ago, but I also want to bring some biblical perspective if I may. From a human perspective, nobody can argue that peace is good. The Bible tells us to get along with our fellow men whenever and however possible in Romans 12:18Open in Logos Bible Software (if available), "If possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all." We are also told not to seek revenge or hold a grudge in Leviticus 19:18Open in Logos Bible Software (if available), " You shall not take vengeance or bear a grudge against the sons of your own people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the Lord." So, there is definitely a biblical precedent for seeking peace with our neighbors. What about Israel? Does the Bible give us clues as to peace in the Middle East Region and the safety of Israel? I believe it does. The first thing we must understand is that, from our limited human perspective, peace is simply the absence of war. This doesn't make peace not worth seeking, but that is not the whole story. The peace we should be seeking is the one that comes from the Prince of Peace, Messiah Yeshua as He is called by that name in Isaiah 9:6Open in Logos Bible Software (if available) "For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us; And the government will rest on His shoulders; And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace." Yeshua the Prince of Peace will return in the future to establish His messianic kingdom on earth as He promised. Isaiah goes further in describing what life will be in the messianic kingdom, under the just rule of Messiah, the Prince of Peace, in Isaiah 11:6-10Open in Logos Bible Software (if available) we read, "And the wolf will dwell with the lamb, And the leopard will lie down with the young goat, And the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; And a little boy will lead them. Also, the cow and the bear will graze, Their young will lie down together, And the lion will eat straw like the ox. The nursing child will play by the hole of the cobra, And the weaned child will put his hand on the viper's den. They will not hurt or destroy in all My holy mountain, For the earth will be full of the knowledge of the LORD As the waters cover the sea. Then in that day The nations will resort to the root of Jesse, Who will stand as a signal for the peoples; And His resting place will be glorious. We are told that the whole earth will be full of the knowledge of the Lord and that the wild will fellowship with the tame as never seen before. The prophet Ezekiel (Chapters 40-48) also tells us with great details about that future time in history when a beautiful Jewish Temple will be rebuilt in a New Jerusalem. That is what real PEACE will be all about, and anything but that is a thin veneer of "pretend peace" painted over a lost world in need of a Savior. The Bible also tells us that a false peace will exist, and while I recognize the incredible events of the last few days, biblically speaking, I still see the region undergoing turmoil. The door has been open for more peace in the Middle East and for Israel to start feeling more secure. Israel will have to feel more secure in order to let her guard down and agree to sign a seven-year treaty with a charismatic new world leader that the Bible knows as the Antichrist. At first, the world will become mesmerized by this new figure. He is known by many names like "the little horn" (Daniel 7:8Open in Logos Bible Software (if available)), "the prince who is to come" (Daniel 8:23Open in Logos Bible Software (if available)), "the one who makes desolate" (Daniel 9:27Open in Logos Bible Software (if available)) and "the man of destruction" (2 Thessalonians 2:3Open in Logos Bible Software (if available)) to name just a few. He will rise to power very quickly (Revelation 17:13Open in Logos Bible Software (if available).) Possibly his biggest achievement in the eyes of men will be the covenant he will sign with Israel to bring complete peace to the region. This will allow the resumption of Jewish sovereignty on the Jerusalem Temple Mount (Daniel 9:27Open in Logos Bible Software (if available).) Needless to say, that this area of Israel is currently sitting on a powder keg with a very short fuse, so when he brings "false" peace, it will be received by many as real peace. That is not the end of the story, but soon after-three and a half years to be exact-this will be the end of peace on earth, as he will claim to be god and will require to be worshipped (Revelation 13:4-8Open in Logos Bible Software (if available).) The antichrist will also gather all the nations against Jerusalem as seen in Zechariah 14:1-3Open in Logos Bible Software (if available), "Behold, a day is coming for the LORD when the spoil taken from you will be divided among you. For I will gather all the nations against Jerusalem to battle, and the city will be captured, the houses plundered, the women ravished and half of the city exiled, but the rest of the people will not be cut off from the city. Then the LORD will go forth and fight against those nations, as when He fights on a day of battle." and also in Revelation 16:16Open in Logos Bible Software (if available), "And they gathered them together to the place which in Hebrew is called Har-Magedon." and yet, this is still not the end of the story. The false peace that the antichrist will bring to the world will come to an end, but so will the antichrist's career of lies, abuse and rebellion against God. Finally, he will fight against Messiah when He returns to earth and he will be completely defeated (Revelation 19:19-20Open in Logos Bible Software (if available).) Additionally, he will be thrown in the Lake of fire and brimstone forever (Daniel 7:11Open in Logos Bible Software (if available); Revelation 19:20Open in Logos Bible Software (if available).) So, truly, there is peace and there is PEACE! What we are seeing right now in the Middle East should be exciting from a human perspective, but even more so from a prophetic perspective since it opens the door for the rest of God's program to unravel and for the return of the Messiah to rule the earth. I recommend that we all keep one eye in the Word of God and one eye in the sky because Yeshua is coming soon to rapture the believers before the antichrist steps onto the world stage. Will you be coming with us or will you be left behind? Don't wait too long to decide. In the meantime, L'Shanah Tovah for a prosperous New Year! Is Saudi Arabia about to go nuclear with China's help? - Israel Kasnett - https://www.jns.org/is-saudi-arabia-about-to-go-nuclear-with-chinas-help/ The recent normalization deals between Israel, the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain have fundamentally shifted the region's alliances. Both Gulf countries maintain close ties with Saudi Arabia, and speculation abounds as to whether or not the Saudis will be the next country to formalize ties with the Jewish state. While Israel may be on the verge of cementing a close alliance with major Sunni Arab states in the face of a common enemy with Iran, at the same time, concern is also growing about a possible nuclear race in the region with China's help. A recent report in The Guardian indicates that Chinese geologists say Saudi Arabia may have enough uranium ore reserves for the domestic production of nuclear fuel. At the same time, a Wall Street Journal report said that Western officials have grown concerned about nuclear cooperation between China and Saudi Arabia in the construction of a facility for extracting uranium yellowcake from uranium ore. This facility is being built with the assistance of two Chinese companies. Similarly, The New York Times reported that Western intelligence agencies are "scrutinizing" the Saudi's work with China to develop nuclear expertise as a cover towards the development of a nuclear weapon. Dore Gold, president of the Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs, told JNS that the Saudi-Chinese relationship has existed for many years already. In the 1980s, Saudi Arabia reached out to China because it wanted to obtain Chinese missile technology. "They acquired from China some of the longest-range ballistic missiles in the Middle East," he said. "So we have been there." But Saudi nuclear capability, even if for peaceful purposes, could still place the Saudis at the threshold of nuclear military capability, which has Israel greatly concerned. Gold said "one of the challenges for diplomacy is to try and make some of the moderation in Saudi behavior more permanent, and I don't think we've done that. As much as Saudi interests have changed, it is a reversible change. We have to make sure that it has a higher degree of permanence." While Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman (MBS) has demonstrated an interest in moderation by creating distance from the extremist Wahhabi ideology of many of Saudi Arabia's top clerics, it remains unclear whether or not his influence will hold. According to Gold, Israel and Saudi Arabia "need to take the mutual threat we both face and create a basis for a quasi-alliance, but I'm not sure we are there yet. Relationships with countries you don't have diplomatic relations with are usually held very tightly in the hands of whoever is the leader. The question is how you make it permanent." That question could be answered soon if reports are true that Saudi Arabia will eventually sign a normalization agreement with Israel. Making such diplomatic relations permanent "could be an agenda item for the U.S. and Israel to work on after the American elections," said Gold. 'Chinese companies less hostile' towards developing nukes So why did the Saudis turn to China, of all countries, for assistance with its nuclear program, especially since China has helped Pakistan and Iran in the past? According to Saeed Ghasseminejad, a senior Iran and financial economics adviser at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, the Saudis probably have two reasons to go to Chinese companies. "First," he told JNS, "if they decide to move towards military nuclear capabilities, China and Chinese companies will be more accommodating or at least less hostile towards such a move." "Second, the Kingdom is trying to diversify, if not realign, its strategic foreign partnerships," said Ghasseminejad. "Working with China on this strategic project is another sign that China and Saudi Arabia are strengthening their bond." Bin Salman has said that he would not pursue the nuclear option unless Iran achieved the bomb, which it still has not; however, he has started working on nuclear capability nonetheless. Why? "In 2015, [former President Barack] Obama signed a deal with Tehran that gave Tehran a patient pathway to a nuclear bomb and gave it an industrial large-scale nuclear capacity, which could quickly turn into a military program," recounted Ghasseminejad. "The Democratic Party still insists that the [the deal] is the golden standard of nuclear non-proliferation agreements, and they want to go back to it. Saudi Arabia, as a longtime U.S. ally that does not chant 'Death to Israel,' obviously wants at least what Iran got." "Also," he added, "for decades, Riyadh and Washington had a deal where Saudis bought U.S. goods and weapons, and helped Washington in managing the oil market, and Washington defended Saudi Arabia." However, Ghasseminejad said that recent U.S. actions by both the Obama and U.S. President Donald Trump have made the Saudis more cautious of solely relying on the United States. "Obama actively tried to undermine the Saudis in favor of Tehran, and Trump did nothing when the clerical regime targeted the heart of Saudi's oil industry," he said. He went on to explain that if an administration run by 2020 Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden "will offer Tehran the same patient pathway to a nuclear bomb, and neither Republicans nor Democrats guarantee Riyadh's security, then the kingdom probably perceives that having nuclear capability is an option, if not the best option, to deter the Islamist regime in Tehran from further and more severe aggression in future." Saudi Arabia is having a 'Shah-moment' Israel is naturally concerned after it warned the Obama administration that the nuclear deal with Iran would start a Middle East arms race, that now its worries are coming to fruition. Now, Saudi Arabia believes that it needs nuclearization to counter Iran. Who is to say tomorrow it won't be pointed at Israel? "Israel is right to be concerned," said Ghasseminejad. "The Middle East today is full of unstable governments, radicalized societies, apocalyptic militants and messianic politicians." Ghasseminejad noted that while the Saudis may currently be a friend of Israel, "MBS is having his Shah-moment." As Ghasseminejad described, in the 1960s, the Shah decided that "modernizing the country required weakening the monarchy's traditional allies and broadening the middle class as the support base for a modern monarch. It was an absolutely successful plan that modernized the country at a fast rate but led to a political disaster. Two decades later, the clergy turned on him and the middle class left him alone and joined the revolution." "MBS is following the same plan," observed Ghasseminejad. "He may succeed in avoiding the Shah's fate, but it is also possible that he won't. As a result, it is essential to make sure the conservative kingdoms of the region will not be replaced with a radical Islamist regime, and if they do, their successor will not get their hands on nuclear weapons." What happens when the Middle East goes nuclear? Will there be a way down from the ladder at that point? "A nuclear Middle East will be a ticking nuclear bomb," said Ghasseminejad. "Some may hope that the imminent threat of a nuclear Armageddon will curb the apocalyptic urges of religious fundamentalists in the region. That is a gamble no sane person should accept." Nearing Midnight: Paul Speaks to Us - Terry James - https://www.raptureready.com/category/nearing-midnight/ Bombardment every waking moment, through constantly churning news cycles, presents an ominous unfolding that can't be missed by the truly spiritually attuned Christian. We're well into the "end of days," as the secular writers and other pundits like to term it. We're seeing in geopolitics the powers and principalities in their high places of wickedness doing all within their considerable abilities to bring about global government. Satan's one-world effort to establish his Antichrist regime is well underway. Only God's restraining hand has kept the devil from being able to complete his prophesied task-to bring to earthly power the first and second beasts of Revelation chapter 13. In these commentaries, we've talked about this luciferian effort and the Lord's staying hand at work to delay its implementation. The effort at that implementation has been especially aggressive within the United States. Attempts to bring down the American president who is anti-globalist in every respect has been almost beyond description or even belief. In the religious realm, we've seen a marked refusal to stand up against the evil going on within society and culture. There is well underway an apostasy of the first order. The "falling away," in terms of departure from faith among a growing number of Christian ministries, is made clear in the lack of opposition offered from the pulpits to that proliferating evil. The current pope has endorsed the apostate declaration that all will eventually be in Heaven for eternity, no matter whether saint, agnostic, or atheist. He has embraced climate change as part of the growing trend toward the worship of Mother Earth. Whether Catholic or Protestant, many of the clergy in what is called Christendom are either totally in for, or totally silent on, the issues within the social justice movement so in vogue today. Regarding those social justice issues, the apostle Paul's words of forewarning can almost be heard echoing down through the corridors of this eerie time in history. Perilous times are indeed with us-again-every waking moment while we get the hourly and even minute-by-minute news reports from the nation and from around the world. Paul, in 2 Timothy 3, is, it seems to me, speaking directly to this generation when he says: For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof. Let's look at a few of these characteristics of end-times humans as the great apostle gives them and as we think on our experience as of late. "Blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy" Video and audio of the rioters in the various cities they have destroyed, burned, and looted contain some of the most blasphemous language imaginable. They are so vulgar, so blasphemous, that one hears almost a constant beeping the news organizations use to keep from violating broadcast etiquette and regulations. Many of these are pampered Millennials who are college students that have never been disadvantaged in any way. They directly disrespect parents and rules of civil comportment. They exemplify Paul's terms "unthankful" and "unholy." "False accusers, incontinent, fierce" The anarchists who join the likes of Black Lives Matter and Antifa are traitorous to the nation that gave them the privileges they now violently protest. These are Communist/Marxist organizations that hate everything about America and foment its destruction. Those who, like the "useful idiots" Marx wrote about, "falsely accuse" people of America in general and the police across the country of wanting to murder people of color, particularly African Americans. These arsonists and thugs are "incontinent"-that is, they are unwilling and/or unable to control their desires to commit these insane acts of rage. They are "fierce" and launch bricks, bottles of frozen water, and Molotov cocktails at police and even at owners of private property and businesses. All of this demonstrates, I believe we should conclude, that we are in the very last hours of this fleeting age. We must, of course, defend against the forces that want to destroy and even kill to do the service of their master, the devil. But, even though it is difficult to understand all involved in His Instruction, Jesus has an even stronger defense for us to follow while we guard against those who would do us harm. We must obey Him no matter what, and leave all the consequences to Him. But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you, Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you. (Luke 6: 27-28) Daily Jot: Mail-in deception - Bill Wilson - www.dailyjot.com Several weeks ago we received this stack of oversized letters in the mail. It seemed as if there were five or six of them. I should have kept them for proof, but I threw them away. They were mail-in ballots. I was so disgusted with the thought that the government was encouraging people to stay at home and vote by mail, that I missed the point: We seemed to have received more ballots than we have voters in our household. Since then, I have heard first hand stories from friends, neighbors and acquaintances that they received several more mail-in ballots than the number of voters in their households. In fact, this is common among people who I know and trust would not lie about it. So what gives? We know that Democratic Party oppression of the vote was so big after the Civil War that there were local and state laws prohibiting black people from voting. When finally, President Ulysses Grant stepped in and all but eliminated the Ku Klux Klan in the south-which included Democratic Party officeholders, doctors, lawyers, even clergy-blacks were able to safely vote again for a time. Then the Black Codes and Jim Crow Laws that were passed by democrats once again suppressed the vote all the way into the 1960s. Somewhere along the way, the Democratic Party decided that it would make an issue of suppressing the vote and blame it on the Republicans every time they tried to update the voter rolls. The result is that myriads of dead people get to vote. People who move to other locations get to vote in their former precincts. Those who are registered to vote, but don't vote, get to vote-someone else votes for them. Democrats have fought tooth and nail even the simplest of updating the voter rolls-removing the dead from voter rolls. What do you think is going to happen when someone that received three mail in ballots, votes three times and the election clerk doesn't "catch" it? The same thing that happens when a dead person votes. These crooks know how to work the system. If someone hasn't voted by a certain time, the local party people know it. And they send someone else in their place. What made our system of voting so unique and effective was that there was one day to vote. If you couldn't vote on that day, you got an absentee ballot. This whole idea of mass mail in ballots, and how the authorities will verify the votes, and how long it will take them after the election, is a slippery slope to tyranny. If people can be encouraged to protest and riot in close quarters without concern for COVID 19, then people can go to their polling place and cast their votes in a safe and orderly manner. The justification has no weight. As in Ephesians 4:14, let us not be tossed to and fro by the "sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive." This doctrine of mail-in ballots has its roots in deception. Daily Devotion: Get Up and Keep Running - by Greg Laurie - www.harvest.org Don't you realize that in a race everyone runs, but only one person gets the prize? So run to win! -1 Corinthians 9:24 When I was in high school, I went out for the track. I was a pretty good runner in the short-distance events. But I got killed on long-distance runs. I would take off at the beginning of the race and leave everyone in my dust. I would be ahead of the crowd and feeling good. But then I would start getting a little fatigued. And pretty soon people started passing me. I think the apostle Paul must have been something of a sports fan, because he used athletic analogies quite often, especially the analogy of running a race. Writing to the church in Corinth he said, "Don't you realize that in a race everyone runs, but only one person gets the prize? So run to win! All athletes are disciplined in their training. They do it to win a prize that will fade away, but we do it for an eternal prize" (1 Corinthians 9:24-25 NLT). And in Philippians 3:14 Paul wrote, "I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us" (nlt). Paul was saying in effect, "I'm like a runner in the last stretch, and it hurts. But I'm going to make it. I'm determined." A lot of Christians start out their spiritual race with a bang, much like the way I started my races in high school. They are so excited about the Lord. They take off running and leave everyone else in their dust. Then they collapse and fall. The Christian life is a race, but it isn't a sprint. It's a long-distance run. There will be times when we collapse and fall. And all we can do is get up again and keep running until we cross the finish line. FROM THE HEART

"Folks, it's all beginning to unravel. America is in more danger of falling than at any time in its history. But I believe Bible prophecy predicts this very decline. From this point on, we believers have to get serious. We are going to face discouragement, disillusionment and, most certainly, persecution in the time between now and the Rapture. But don't be discouraged or disillusioned. The coming turmoil will provide us unrivaled opportunities to share the good news of the Gospel. So be ready to share your faith and your hope with those who need Christ. We still have time to reap a great harvest of souls for God's kingdom!" - Hal Lindsey 1) We need your prayers!- We proclaim the Truth of the Word of God and we are under constant spiritual and sometimes even physical attack. 2) We need your encouragement!- We need to hear from you, let us know how the Lord is blessing you through this ministry so that we can share it with others. 3) We need your input! - If you have a prophetic article or story or if there is a news related item we missed, let us know. 4) We need your financial support!- To put it quite simply, without your support, there would be no Prophecy Update. I ask that you would prayerfully consider partnering with us to get the Word out and keep the world informed. Remember, your gift, no matter how small, does make a difference! You will be helping to touch lives, around the world, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, thanks to the internet your generosity carries a global impact! - Thanks! Our Prayer for You- "Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. You will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God. This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of God's people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God. Because of the service by which you have proved yourselves, men will praise God for the obedience that accompanies your confession of the gospel of Christ, and for your generosity in sharing with them and with everyone else." 2 Corinthians 9:10-13 If you have been blessed by Prophecy Update and would like to help support this ministry financially.
