Trump in the hospital for testing positive for Covid-19, it seems like most of the media has ignored the Middle East this week. Nevertheless, here are a few items that seem to be related to prophecies in the Bible. One, during former Vice Pres. Joe Biden's debate with Pres Trump on Sept. 29, 2020, Biden said, "I am the Democratic Party right now." That is very questionable, but if it is true, Biden is responsible for no mention of God at the Democrat Party Convention and in the Democrat Party Platform. Two, in late Sept. 2020, U.S. Sec. of State Mike Pompeo warned the Pres. of Iraq that the U.S. will close its embassy in Iraq if he doesn't do more to stop Iranian-backed terrorists from firing rockets at America's embassy. Some officials believe Iran has decided that Trump will defeat Biden in the election, and they want to embarrass Trump to possibly defeat him. Iran wants to defeat Trump because officials think they would have a better chance getting the sanctions against Iran dropped, continuing their nuclear weapons program, winning a war with Israel (Gog and Magog), etc., if Biden is President of the U.S. Iraq's foreign minister said he hopes the U.S. will reconsider the move. Three, concerning deception and lying, on Sept. 29, 2020, it was reported that National Intelligence Director John Ratcliffe sent a letter to Lindsey Graham, Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, saying the U.S. has obtained unverifiable Russian intelligence information alleging that the Russian Collusion scam (that cost the U.S. about $40 million and counting) was made up by Hillary Clinton to draw attention away from her e-mail scandal. It is now being reported that Obama, Clinton, Brennan and Comey knew that it was a scam and have been trying to cover it up (lying about it). It is also being reported that this is just a tip of the iceberg, but the CIA is trying to block the public release of other information because they believe the truth will damage their organization. FBI Director, Christopher Wray, appears to be trying to dodge testimony before the U.S. Senate because documents show he has not told the truth on other occasions. Four, the Bible says that God will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling and a burdensome stone for the whole world at the end of the age (Zech. 12:2-3). On Sept. 30, 2020, the UAE made it plain that their peace treaty with Israel does not mean that the UAE has abandoned its demand that East Jerusalem be made the capital of a Palestinian state. The peace treaties are not changing what God said about Jerusalem. Five, on Oct. 4, 2020, it was reported that the European Central Bank (ECB) will begin consultations on Oct. 12 on the release of a digital currency. ECB officials said a move toward a digital currency will compliment cash, but not replace it. Many prophecy teachers believe the world will go to a digital currency to facilitate the tracking of all buying and selling during the Tribulation Period. Six, concerning natural disasters, wildfires in California have burned more than 6 million acres this year (6,250 square miles; more than double the old one-year record). This is in addition to wildfires in Washington, Oregon, and other states. More than 31 people have been killed and more than 8,400 structures have burned. Also, as I am writing this article, the tenth named storm (the most ever in one year) is in the Gulf of Mexico and bearing down on the U.S. So, we have the worst wildfires ever and the most named storms ever to hit the U.S. in the same year (like birth pains). Seven, Jesus listed deception as one of the signs of His coming, and it is a subject that covers many things. Anyway, Gov. Newsom of Cal. (Nancy Pelosi's nephew) recently signed a law that requires corporations to place a minimum number of people from underrepresented communities (black people, women, Hispanics, Asians, etc.) on their board. However, the law allows board members to self-identify (a man can self-identify as a woman, a white person can self-identify as a black person, etc.). I don't know if this is an effort to deceive black people, women, Hispanics and others; the thinking of a reprobate mind, demonism or what, but it doesn't seem worthy of a high government official. God loves you, and if you have not done so, sincerely admit that you are a sinner; believe that Jesus is the virgin born, sinless Son of God, who died for the sins of the world, was buried and raised from the dead; ask Him to forgive your sins, cleanse you, come into your heart and be your Saviour; then tell someone that you have done this. During the interview, the prince, a former Saudi ambassador to the US, said that "the Palestinian cause is a just cause, but its advocates are failures, and the Israeli cause is unjust, but its advocates have proven to be successful." He accused the Palestinians of cozying up to Saudi Arabia's foes, Iran and Turkey, and criticized them for accusing the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain of betrayal for agreeing to establish relations with Israel." He also accused the Palestinians of "ingratitude or lack of loyalty" toward Saudi Arabia and other Arab countries that supported them for decades. After the interview, many Saudis and other Gulf citizens expressed support for Prince Bandar bin Abdulaziz's criticism of the Palestinians, with some saying the time has come for a new Palestinian leadership that prioritizes its people's interests and does not pocket the financial aid sent to them by the Arab countries and the West. "I believe that the time has come to form a permanent Arab committee under the umbrella of the Arab League to manage the Palestinian issue and conduct face-to-face dialogue with Israel," said Emirati columnist and political analyst Abdullah Nasser Al-Otaibi. "Today, after this very revealing and frank talk (by the Saudi prince), I strongly believe in the need for the Arabs to find a way to manage the Palestinian issue." Al-Otaibi is one of several Arab commentators who have recently talked about the need for the Arab countries to take matters into their own hands and try to solve the Israeli-Arab conflict without involving the failed and corrupt Palestinian leadership. This is a demand that no Arab has dared to make in the past few decades. It demonstrates that a growing number of Arabs believe that there can be no solution to the Israeli-Arab conflict as long as the current Palestinian leadership remains in power. Saudi political analyst Fahim Al-Hamid noted that over the past several decades, the Palestinians have missed many opportunities to find a solution to their conflict with Israel. Referring to the ongoing power struggle between the Palestinian ruling Fatah faction in the West Bank and Hamas in the Gaza Strip, Al-Hamid accused the two parties of 'trafficking" in the Palestinian issue. "When Israel withdrew from the Gaza Strip in 2005, it was possible for the Palestinians to seize the opportunity to achieve more gains," he wrote. "Hamas, however, refused to unite the Palestinians and established the foundations for the beginning of the division between the Palestinians. Instead, Hamas sought to raise funds from Turkey, Qatar and Iran." Praising Prince Bandar's statements, Al-Hamid added: "It is unfortunate that the Palestinian brothers have traded in their issue for more than 60 years and insisted on not compromising, sabotaging negotiations and rejecting all peace initiatives. The time for trafficking in the concerns of the Palestinian people is over. The interest of the people in Gaza and the West Bank requires the intervention of rational Arabs to achieve comprehensive peace in the region. We tell the Palestinians what (US) President (Abraham) Lincoln said: 'You can fool all the people some of the time and some people all of the time, but you cannot fool all the people all the time.'" Saudi columnist Mohammed Al-Saaed, echoing Prince Bandar bin Abdulaziz's criticism, refuted Palestinian claims that they do not meddle in the internal affairs of Arab countries: "Over the past six decades, the Palestinians have presented themselves as being neutral on Arab issues. However, they [Palestinians] have turned themselves into puppets in the hands of Qatar, Turkey and Iran. The Palestinians have practiced systematic terror against most Arab countries and directed their guns and bombs against the Arabs." Al-Saaed said that the Palestinians have also been engaging in another form of terrorism: extorting money from the Arabs "or else they count you as hostile (to the Palestinians). We must not forget their terrorist operations against consulates and embassies, assassinations of Saudi figures, as well as the hijacking and bombing of airplanes." He went on to accuse the Palestinians of insulting Saudi Arabia by burning its flags and pictures of its leaders and publishing offensive cartoons in media outlets run by members of Fatah and Hamas. Al-Saaed added: "Saudi Arabia only wants (the Palestinians) to stop hurting the kingdom and its citizens. The Palestinians must be aware that the popular mood on the Saudi street is no longer able to tolerate these abuses. The Palestinian leadership must take a rational position before losing Saudi Arabia's support." Saudi political analyst Abdel Rahman Al-Mulhem praised the Saudi prince for exposing the Palestinian leadership failures. "The masks have fallen and the truth has been revealed," Al-Mulhem wrote. "Palestinian leaders could have ended the tragedy of the Palestinian people by accepting United Nations Resolution 242," he said, referring to the November 22, 1967 resolution that talked about "the need to work for a just and lasting peace in which every State in the area can live in security and peace within recognized boundaries free from threats or acts of force." Al-Mulhem said he fully agreed with the Saudi prince's assertion that Palestinian leaders do not want to end the conflict with Israel because they want to preserve their personal interests, and added: "Palestinian leaders missed many opportunities that could have ended the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, but they squandered these opportunities so that they could continue to trade in the Palestinian issue... Palestinian leaders have chosen to align themselves with Iran, the No. 1 enemy of the Arab nation. What has Iran done for Palestine since 1979? Iran is a terrorist country. Terrorism only breeds terrorism. Palestinian leaders stole the aid sent to the Palestinian people and built mansions in Washington, Paris and London, while ignoring the suffering of their people." Commenting on the Saudi prince's statements about the Palestinian leadership's corruption and ineptitude, Fahd Al-Shoqiran, a Saudi researcher and columnist, wrote that the Palestinians "must be reminded that the hundreds of billions of money their leaders received to support their cause from Saudi Arabia throughout its history were capable of building the Palestinians huge cities." Instead, Al-Shoqiran said, Palestinian leaders used the money to buy private planes and luxurious buildings in Europe and the US. "For the Palestinian leaders, the Palestinian issue is just an investment project that generates huge profits," he said. "That's why the talk about the need for an efficient alternative political leadership causes them to panic. The prince's speech was clear, direct, accurate and frank. The speech is a wake-up call. Things have changed, and whoever wants a solution should seek ways to achieve one." Palestinian leaders, meanwhile, appear to be afraid of responding to the serious charges made by Prince Bandar bin Abdulaziz. These leaders have not sent their people to the streets to burn Saudi flags in protest of the criticism made by the prince and other Saudis. Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas and his officials are well aware that, unlike the UAE or Bahrain, Saudi Arabia is a large and extremely powerful country. They also know that losing the support of Saudi Arabia would mean forfeiting the backing of several other Arab countries closely associated with the kingdom. The latest Saudi media onslaught against the Palestinians could be seen as a prelude for Saudi Arabia following suit with the UAE and Bahrain by establishing relations with Israel. What is evident, meanwhile, is that, where Saudi Arabia is concerned, the Palestinians are on very thin ice. In fact, they may wake up to discover that the ice is melting all over the Arab world. Daniel 11:31 (The Israel BibleTM) A prominent Palestinian religious leader slammed the Gulf States for normalizing relations with Israel by claiming that the Abraham Accords are based on the "false Zionist narrative" that the Jewish Temples once stood on the Temple Mount. TEMPLE MOUNT SERMON SLAMMING "ZIONIST NARRATIVE In a sermon on Friday, Sheikh Ekrima Sa'id Sabri, the former Grand Mufti of Jerusalem appointed by Yasser Arafat and the current head of the Temple Mount Islamic council, warned that Israel has been successful in marketing the "Zionist narrative" that the Al Aqsa Mosque is situated on land that was once part of the Jewish Temple. Sabri warned that Israel had succeeded in persuading some Arab leaders to accept the "Zionist narrative" of Jewish Temples once standing on the Temple Mount. Sabri claimed that it was this false narrative that led to the normalization of relations between the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain with Israel. On the other hand, he condemned the incompetence of Muslims in marketing the Islamic narrative by clerics and the media. The Sheikh warned that the "occupation" and the settlers are working to take over specific places in the al-Aqsa. In this statement, Sabri is incorrectly using the term "Al Aqsa' to refer to the entire Temple Mount rather than just the silver-domed mosque at the southern end of the Temple Mount complex. Sabri claimed that Israel did not respect the sanctity of Al-Aqsa, He claimed that Israel is working to sever the ties between Muslims and the site by creating "delusions" among "settlers" (Jews who live in Judea and Samaria). According to Sabri, this illusion was built around a false narrative that "Palestine" was the land that Jews had a right to, and that the Temple will be built on the ruins of the Al-Aqsa Mosque. According to Sabri, Israel's "greed" does not stop and is also reflected in daily "infiltrations" to Al-Aqsa in an attempt to impose a new reality. Again, since Jews are not permitted to enter the Al-Aqsa Mosque, it is clear that Sabri is using the term 'Al-Aqsa' to refer to the entire Temple Mount. FALSE ISLAMIC NARRATIVE Dr. Mordechai Kedar, a senior lecturer in the Department of Arabic at Bar-Ilan University, unpacked Sabri's comments, noting the tenuous connection between Islam and the Temple Mount. "There is no mention of Jerusalem or the Temples in the Koran," Dr. Kedar said, "The Koran does relate that Allah told the Jews to go into the land and they refused. This is, of course, the Biblical story of the spies after the Exodus from Egypt." Though the Jewish Temple are not explicitly mentioned in the Koran, they are undoubtedly the basis for the Muslim presence at the site. "However, Jerusalem is referred to in the hadith as Bayit al-Maqdis, which is the Arabic translation of the Hebrew, 'Beit Hamikdash' (house of the holy, i.e. the Temple), Dr. Kedar said. "No doubt this is what the Jews called the Temple Mount and the Arabs took this and translated it." Islam and Judaism a Dr. Kedar emphasized that the current conflict leading to a Muslim ban on Jewish worship at the Temple Mount was not always the case. "In the seventh century, Jews viewed the beginnings of Islam as a sign the geula (redemption) was coming," Dr. Kedar said. "For hundreds of years, the Byzantine Christians barred the Jews from entering Jerusalem. In the seventh century, the new Muslim religion allowed Jews to come to Jerusalem. Jews viewed Islam in a positive light as it resembled Judaism, having taken many elements including Biblical stories from Judaism. "This positive Jewish attitude was reciprocated by the Muslims as the Jews were not trying to establish a Jewish state on Muslim land. Jews were everywhere in Arab and Muslim countries and the Arabs viewed them as the elite. There is a hadith that relates how Jews were permitted to bring incense to the area of the Holy of Holies on the Temple Mount in the eighth century." Dr. Kedar explained that using the term 'Al Aqsa' to refer to the entire Temple Mount is a recent phenomenon that is entirely based in a flawed political narrative. During the Ottoman Empire, there were periods when Jews not only prayed on the Temple Mount, but the Jews were permitted to burn incense to be burned on the rock inside the Dome of the Rock where the Holy of Holies once stood," Dr. Kedar said. "This was because it was based on Islamic sources. This should have been the status quo." Dr. Kedar explained that the Abraham Accords did not refer to Jerusalem at all, and this is hugely problematic for the Palestinian leadership. "The Jerusalem issue is much less important to the Gulf States, which is a matter of enormous concern for Sheikh Sabri," Dr. Kedar explained. "Jerusalem and the Temple Mount are at the epicenter of the Palestinian story. Without Jerusalem and Al Aqsa, the Palestinian issue has almost no meaning. It is like whiskers without a cat. This is why they keep repeating the allegation that the Jews have no connection to the Temple Mount or Jerusalem even though this flies in the face of all recorded history." "In Islam, religion is used to give legitimacy to political issues. The Saudis do this, as does Iran and Turkey. Religion and politics in Islam are inseparable. At the risk of sounding like I'm saying, "I told you so," I told you so. If you've been reading tea leaves from the news lately, you may have already figured out what's coming at us in the next few months. If so, the following may simply affirm your observations. But I wanted to put this out there so everyone knows what to expect and therefore won't be surprised. My seven predictions for how 2020 comes to an end: Prediction 1: Trump will win the election in a landslide. I know, the media is telling you the polls are tight, but just look around. Trump rallies are packed to the gills while Biden can't fill the bleachers at a high school football field. Trump supporters hold huge boat parades while we see NONE for Biden. Trump supporters hold freeway caravans around that country that take up all lanes of a freeway, while an attempted caravan for Biden in Las Vegas drew only 30 people. Just like in 2016, pollsters today are making it look like it's a close race. This is gaslighting - they're telling you something that runs directly opposite of what your own eyes are telling you, but they're expecting you to believe what they say. Prediction 2: On the evening of November 3, Joe Biden will not concede the election, even though the vote will clearly be for Trump. Hillary Clinton has publicly stated that Joe should not concede, so the seed has been planted in our minds to expect this. And, because we're expecting it, we won't be shocked by it. Prediction 3: Massive mail voter fraud will create confusion and Marxists (e.g. Democrats) will insist that "every vote counts." They know Americans want to be fair so Marxists will play on that. They will cry and wail and plead that every vote needs to get counted, so they'll ask for sympathy for voters who didn't follow confusing new election rules about how to cast their mail-in ballots. That will be their story, but many votes will be fraudulent. As they've demonstrated on America's streets, Marxists don't care about following laws; they care about power. Prediction 4: Because of massive mail fraud ballots showing up late, election results WILL be delayed. The deceptive Mark Zuckerberg at Facebook and the clearly biased Jack Dorsey at Twitter have already announced they will flag any posts or tweets that claim a victory for Trump. They KNOW Trump will have more than enough votes to win, but as Zuckerberg already told us, we should expect results to take "DAYS OR EVEN WEEKS." In other words, Facebook and Twitter are well-aware of the planned mail-in voter fraud, and they're already providing cover for it. The planned vote count confusion will be dragged out as long as possible. The Marxists' intention is to keep confusion swirling at least until December 14 in hopes that the electoral college won't be able to identify a winner. Expect ballots to keep showing up out of nowhere. Prediction 5: If Marxists cannot keep up the façade until December 14, some states will obfuscate the electoral process by choosing not to follow the rules laid out in the 12th Amendment. In fact, both may happen. Either way, by attempting to throw the electoral college into confusion, Marxists (again, the Democrats) will make a push for the electoral college to be eliminated. Believe me when I say you don't want this. Students of the Constitution know that if the electoral college is eliminated, the Republic will be gone. Prediction 6: Expect Nancy Pelosi to be acting all patriotic and concerned about the Constitution during the chaos, but rest assured, it's a passive-aggressive act. She is among the Marxist vanguard in both houses of Congress orchestrating the whole mess. You will also see some Marxist-friendly governors making a lot of noise. Prediction 7: While Marxists in Congress are messing with the electoral process, Marxists on the streets (Antifa and BLM) will intensify their violence by burning, looting, and murdering even more than what we've seen to this point. There's already a movement that seeks to lay siege to the White House. Not only do the puppet masters want all the street chaos to distract our attention from what's going on in the electoral process, the street Marxists see this election as their only chance to either grab power or put up with Trump for four more years. The protestors have been trained to instigate violence, and copy-cat wannabes will want to join in. Street Marxists will view these riots as the fight of their lives: it will get intense. To perpetuate the riots, puppet masters like George Soros will continue pouring money into organizations that fund them. Also remember that Antifa and BLM have threatened to go into the suburbs. Their purpose for doing so is to trigger the Soccer Moms who wants peace at all costs. Marxists will hope that these suburban moms will apply pressure on their elected representatives to give in to the Marxists so the violence will end. Life on American streets will be unpredictable and dangerous. How does it end? The Marxists are desperate, so the fighting will be like nothing the country has ever seen before. I predict we'll see horrific things happening in our cities and on our streets, and traditional media (read: Marxist-friendly media) will be spewing twisted truths and lies about everything listed above. And we can't forget that social media giants favor the Marxists in this revolution, so they will be squelching debate in whatever ways they can. The final months of 2020 will be an emotional roller coaster, but in the end, I predict Trump prevails. It's not going to be pretty, and many who are now thinking life will return to normal after November 3 will be sadly mistaken. They will be wondering what happened to the country they once knew. Whether the Democrats implode or not after all this happens remains to be seen, but it is my prayer that when the dust settles, all the Marxists plotters and schemers be exposed and truth will be recognized as truth. And then ... maybe then ... Trump can get on with his promise to drain the entire swamp. Look at the trend since they have sold America and the world on the fear of flu: Defund Police and replace them with a "civilian led department of community safety and violence prevention"; Wear masks, don't wear masks-Fauci; Wear masks or be fined-many states and cities; Walmart remains open while businesses that sell similar products must close; Government deciding which businesses are essential and nonessential-isn't every business essential to those who own it and work for it?; Defund police and encourage violent protests by Antifa and Black Lives Matter Organizations; Lockdown healthy citizens, and prevent Americans from gathering even in small groups, but encourage protestors in mass numbers; Release prisoners into society who have been exposed to COVID 19; Place citizens under house arrest; Sending COVID 19 positives to nursing homes where high risk people die from being infected; Censor or ban hydroxychloroquine, an effective way to combat COVID 19, because we are waiting on an unproven vaccine to be produced; Antifa and Black Lives Matter organization protesters burning Bibles and the American flag in Portland in the name of anti-fascism, but isn't that what the Nazi fascists did in World War II Germany; The government using big tech-Facebook, Twitter, Google, etc.-to censor dissenting opinions on COVID; Mainstream media censoring dissent against the leftist movement, and only promoting the leftist view and ridiculing or labeling dissent as hate speech, bigotry, racism, etc.; Shutting down church meetings in the name of public health and safety-AND the Supreme Court upholding them; These are just part of a short list. When you look at this from a high level, you can see the strategy in play. And it comes down to you. And these powers collectively believe that you can do nothing about it. Now, what to do? When everyone is against you, who is for you? Romans 8:38-39 says, "Neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor thing to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." Deuteronomy 31:8 says, "And the Lord, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed." YOU are under attack by the enemies of God. Pray for our leaders to have righteous wisdom. Pray for direction. Pray for the action you should take. Then take it. Spurgeon, known as the "Prince of Preachers," recalled a time when a young man approached him for advice. "I have preached in the streets," the young man told him, "and I have seen no converts." "Do you expect people to be converted every time you preach?" Spurgeon asked. "No, sir." "That is the reason you do not succeed," said Spurgeon, "because you do not expect to do so." When I preach the gospel, I expect people to come to Christ-because there is power in the gospel. It impacts people. So I expect it. When we share the gospel, we should expect God to bless it. Speaking to the prophet Isaiah, God said of His word, "I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it" (Isaiah 55:11 NLT). No doubt you know someone who doesn't want to hear about the Lord. They don't want to hear you talk about the Bible. And they don't want an invitation to church. Maybe you've written them off, because every time you engage them in a conversation, it turns into a conflict. But let me ask you something: Will you focus your prayers in particular on those difficult people? They may, in fact, be closer to coming to Christ than you realize. Sometimes, one of the reasons a person will strike out at you when you share the gospel is because they're under the conviction of the Holy Spirit. That very reaction could be a good sign rather than a bad one. So pray for those people. William Carey said, "Attempt great things for God. Expect great things from God." That is what we need to do as followers of Jesus Christ.
