Zechariah 5 9 Then lifted I up mine eyes, and looked, and, behold, there came out two women, and the wind was in their wings; for they had wings like the wings of a stork: and they lifted up the ephah between the earth and the heaven. 10 Then said I to the angel that talked with me, Whither do these bear the ephah? 11 And he said unto me, To build it an house in the land of Shinar: and it shall be established, and set there upon her own base. The hatred for Donald Trump is intimately tied to the emerging "One World Order.' He has put our America on the path of rejecting this whole idea. I have always believed that America would remain on the sideline of this development for the protection of Israel. We can clearly see that in almost every action of our President. America started in the direction of the "One World Order" many years ago but moved very quickly under President George Bush, the first Bush presidency. He was the first to use the term. President Donald Trump has taken on the whole world and set America apart. Not only are the political liberals angry but the world media is obsessed with hatred. With the Rapture right at the door it's wonderful to see our nation on the side with the Jewish people. It is my prayer that even after the Rapture America will continue to stand with Israel. Please read this entire article and thank God that we have President Trump and Vice President Pence to follow if Jesus tarries. Zechariah prophesied 2,500 years ago of a day when wickedness would fill the earth and when three women representing evil in three forms would move with the speed of the wind to create a Global Civilization. The direction of this prophecy will change the direction of society from west to east and will eventually find its home in the very spot where Nimrod built his false religion. Please note these words from chapter five of this great Bible prophecy: -"This is the curse that goeth forth over the face of the whole earth." (Zechariah 5:3) -"This is a woman (woman number one) that sitteth in the midst of the ephah." (Zechariah 5:7) -"This is wickedness." (Zechariah 5:8) -"Behold there came out two women (woman number two and three), and the wind was in their wings: for they had wings like the wings of a stork (an unclean bird) and they lifted up the ephah (woman one is now in this ephah) between the earth and the heavens. (Zechariah 5:9) -"Whither so these bear the ephah?...To build it a house in the land of Shinar (Babylon)." (Zechariah 5: 10-11) This is one of the Bible's most graphic prophecies. There is no possible past event that fulfills this direct world from God the Holy Spirit. This is a clear picture of a threefold "Global Civilization" that will fill the entire earth, will be insanely evil, and will cause the emphasis of all earthly leadership to change from a western or Bible-centered worldview to an eastern or occultic-centered worldview. We are right now in the stage where the "wind is in the wings" of these harlot led movements and the countdown has begun. The Three Women These three women are types. The first is a type of an economic movement where nationalism is eliminated for the sake of worldview commerce. The Spirit called this movement "wickedness" because of the nature and selfishness it would represent. Men and women will be expendable and sheer slaves in a mad dash of wealth and control. The entire process will prepare an unsuspecting world for a control system that a beastly leader will use to demand unquestioned obedience. Out of this global economy will develop a numbering method that no human power can escape. The second woman will be the "harlot" of Revelation seventeen. She, also, is a type and represents a global religion, a one world system. The third woman arises simultaneously with the second. She is a type of political global system, a one world government: and these two women types totally support each other. They will carry or give power to the first woman type with its global economy. The three will then move at the speed of wind to change all systems and movements to an occultic agenda. Hellish powers will quickly take control of the world's great institutions, governments, banks, and corporations. It's a picture of hell on a rampage. I do not see how anyone can doubt the perfect fulfillment that is developing. Mad Dash for the Rapture I do not set dates. Only God can act in the sovereign exercise of declaring history in advance. The Bible gives us the history without the day, month, or year, but His declarations are unchangeable. We can read the signs and warn of the approach. Never has history moved with the pace of the present. When the Soviet Union staged their breakup, it happened in weeks instead of years. Communist governments fell like dominoes. Every event of our present world seems to move like a flashing comet. Only a sovereign God could orchestrate the maze that even now moves the world forces toward Armageddon. It appears that all three of these women type systems have set the End that we see for global unity. The most potent powers of these third movements is education, the media, entertainment, the arts, and religion. All of these powers are geared to the present that we see. Berit Kjos stated in an article, "The new international education systems, mandated in our nation will assess and track our children's values to make sure they conform." She quotes them as saying, "The time is ripe. Spiritual unity fits the philosophy of our age: everything is changing, so compromise, cooperate, unify and adapt. The only people who can't join the converging streams toward oneness are Christians, who base their faith on the Bible." (From The United Nations to the United Religions, by Berit Kjos) Charlotte, NC, some years ago dealt with a Broadway drama entitled Angels in America. The subtitle was "A Gay Fantasia on National Themes." It is vulgar, obscene, and disgusting, but it has won one Pulitzer Prize and eight Tony awards. The first half is entitled "Millennium Approaches." The homosexual playwright, Tony Kushner, apparently believes he is preparing the way for the present millennium. A review in our local paper stated that Kushner sees this drama as a "...beginning of a new age with the end of the millennium." Religion and the quasi-spiritual forces of the New Age dominate this preparation of a New Age at the beginning of the seventh millennium. Malachi 4 1 For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the Lord of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch. 2 But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall. 3 And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the Lord of hosts. Global Civilization and the "Three Women" Remember, that these three women are types. The Bible must be interpreted literally. That means that we must never spiritualize Scripture, but follow the plain sense. When the Bible uses types or parables we understand those types/parables by a literal interpretation of each. The plain sense of each type will always be found in the Scripture by usage the Bible gives. Over and over the Bible speaks of Spiritual movements with the women types. A harlot woman represents evil on the rampage. A saintly woman or a godly bride represents God's action, His kingdom, and His future bride. These three women types clearly represent the last and final action by the false religions and global movements of satanic powers. The devil is going to be allowed his last hurrah and he (the devil) is going to make the most of it. The three movements within the total picture are economic, religious, and political. Each of these women types represents one of these movements. The First Movement is Economic Going back to Zechariah, we see this picture of an ephah, which is a container of commerce, a measuring device. Zechariah describes it perfectly. "And I said, What is it? And he said, This is an ephah that goeth forth. He said moveover, This is their resemblance through all the earth. And, behold, there was lifted up a talent of lead: and this is a woman that sitteth in the midst of the ephah. And he said, This is wickedness. And he cast it into the midst of the ephah; and he cast the weight of lead upon the mouth thereof." (Zechariah 5: 6-8) There must be a one world economy for this prophecy to be fulfilled. Notice that the prophet said, "This is their resemblance through all the earth." (Zechariah 5: 6b) The woman actually merges into the system and a talent of lead is put in place to close the system. This economic world system is designed in fulfillment of this prophecy to be a closed system that is available only to those who possess the password or the code of entrance. The Global One World Economy that is developing fits this design perfectly. Already the ISO 9000 coding system has been erected. Business were told they would be excluded until they met all requirements and were connected with the proper numbering system. Soon that system will include a numbering device that applies to the individual purchaser. This numbering device will become the tool of Satan and will at the set time be a part of the "Mark of the Beast.' The One World Economy is the first step of the three women types. It will move with the speed of wind as the second and third women types develop. Here is a description of this worldwide system as explained in Terry Cook's book, The Mark of the New World Order: "American Papermaker, June 1992, says, '...it has become the minimum standard required to do business in the worldwide marketplace of the 1990s and beyond...The US Department of Defense, NATO, and the FDA have all announced their intention to adopt ISO 9000...if two suppliers are trying to land the same contract in Europe, the one that has achieved ISO 9000 registration of its quality system may have a clear competitive edge...North American companies that either want to continue or are looking to start exporting goods to the EC will need ISO 9000 certification as their calling card. Moreover, in a growing number of areas of the US and Canada, ISO 9000 certification is becoming, or in some instances, has become, a minimum standard for doing business...(The Mark of the New World Order, ISO 9000, pp. 496-497). The Second Movement Is Religious This second woman type is the harlot of Revelation seventeen. She represents a "one world ecumenical church." That does not suggest a mass one world denomination, but a unity in spirit of all religions: Jewish, Christian, Moslems, Hindus, pagans and other cults. No religion is excluded. This movement has already become a rampage. For years Bible-believing churches knew that the ecumenical efforts were diabolical. That sense of discernment is almost extinct. The World in the Church The first step in any church toward this type of Jezebel influence is to bring the world inside the House of God. The music of the church must be changed before the spirit of the church can be altered to fit the new mold. That change has almost been completed. The new methods of entertainment in the church are mime, choreographed dancing, and multiple types of emotionally packed events. Hype has become the order of the day. Most churches are so high or intoxicated with emotions that they would not recognize a visitation by the Holy Ghost. Almost every congregation of any influence and size is constantly hearing the theme of unity, tolerance, and togetherness. This theme is not geared to unity within the local church or fellowship with Bible-believing neighbors, but a unity that includes a broad base of religious concepts. These churches are being conditioned for the religious woman type of this coming global civilization. Matthew 25 33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. 34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: United Religions An incredible movement was begun in 1995. It is called "The United Religions Organization." This movement has its beginning in the same general location as the United Nations did 50 years ago and is proposed to become the companion and bedfellow of the corrupt organization. The two women types that carry the ephah in Zechariah are soon to be fully united and ready to fly. "Then lifted I up mine eyes, and looked, and behold, there came out two women, and the wind was in their wings; for they had wings like the wings of a stork: and they lifted up the ephah between the earth and the heaven." (Zechariah 5:9) Here is the picture on the front of their brochure and the stated goals and instructions followed by a statement of their agenda: "United Religions will provide the world's religions with a permanent gathering place where, through daily prayer, dialogue, and action, they may use their spiritual and moral resources for the good of all life on this earth. The process to kindle this new light for the world is just beginning. To be successful, it will require a belief that what may seem unimaginable is, in fact, possible; a commitment to participate in a spirit of humility, conviction, and openness; a commitment that calls us to move beyond ourselves to a common ground where the world might be transformed." They stated in their agenda that they would promote: "Prayer for deepening respect and cooperation among religions, encourage other to do the same. Join in this year of prayerful waiting. Create opportunities for prayer, dialogue and cooperation action with people of different religions. Every voice matters." They continued, "Imagine the power of thousands, even millions of voices, from every faith tradition in the world, united in prayer..." (Pray for the United Religious Assembly, flyer dated June 1996-97) They further stated, "Agenda: UN Liaison-Co-operate closely with the UN and its organizations; to complement the UN's political, diplomatic and social mandated; to influence UN policy; to support its programs. (A Proposal for the 50th Anniversary of the Signing of the United Religions Charter at San Francisco, California, June 26, 1995, p.3) Catholic Pope Vies for this Leadership Role There is considerable conflict between the United Nations and the Roman Catholic Pope. Both of these entities want the grand task of leading a one world religion. At some point this conflict will be glossed over and the two will at least agree to share the limelight. They may actually merge with Rome riding the Beast of the Global Systems as believed by Dave Hunt and many others. I rather believe that all religions will share equally with a major personality becoming the religions head. This personality will either be the false prophet or will be followed by the false prophet. Here is a statement by the United Religions Organization, which suggests that these very things are happening already: "The United Religions will support the work of the Temple of Understanding, a Global Interfaith Association based in New York that is organizing a Spiritual Council of eminent religious leaders and thinkers from different religious and spiritual traditions as an Advisory Board to the UN Security Council." (Ibid) The Beast Out of the Earth John the Revelator described this beast of a man that will head the Global Religions, "And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name." (Revelation 13: 11-17) This man will be a false prophet par-excellent. His television personality will be unmatched and he will create an excitement of religion that fills every available arena. He will freely name the name of Jesus and will preach sermons that sound as evangelical as the best. Church members schooled in churches claiming to be Bible-believing will swoon and sway at his presence. He will cause the world to worship the false "christ" and to receive his initiation/baptism. Miracles will reach their zenith and will be far greater and more abundant than during the early church. The only thing absent in these great meetings will be Biblical repentance and holiness living. Those two characteristics are the everlasting signs of true Holy Ghost visitation. Jude 13 Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever. 14 And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, 15 To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him. The Third Movement is Political This woman type is the "Global Political World Government." Daniel spoke clearly of the king that shall rule this system and showed us how vicious and mindless his government would be. His description is as follows, "And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvelous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done. Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all. But in his estate shall he honor the God of forces: and a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honor with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things. Thus shall he do in the most strong holds with a strange god, whom he shall acknowledge and increase with glory: and he shall cause them to rule over many, and shall divide the land for gain." (Daniel 11: 36-39) He will be extremely religious, but it will be a strange and vicious religion purging the world from all resistance to these new concepts. Notice it said he would "speak marvelous things against the God of gods." His eloquence and skill will defy resistance as he blasphemes the true God with a false and blasphemous theology. I believe it will be a religion that has Christian concepts united with all major pagan ideas. It will would marvelous to the seduced church where tolerance has become master. I believe this king (the Antichrist) will be a practicing homosexual that glorifies all acts of sex as one fo the great forms of worship. Daniel stated clearly that he would not "regard...the desire of women." (Daniel 11: 37) His ultimate god will be the "god of forces." This "Global Political Government" will be rich, powerful, sinister and deadly. Nothing has proven to be more dangerous in history than religion that rules the political arena. Influence, yes; control, no! John the Revelator gave us the picture of his political prowess. He will be the culmination of all prior rulers. He will be like a leopard, a bear, and a lion; but will speak for the dragon, which is the devil. "And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority. And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast. And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him? And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven." (Revelation 13: 1-6) Daniel, also, described these four beasts, each representing human government and its leaders. The fourth and last ruler was called "dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces..." (Daniel 7:7) These Three Women Types Will Rule the World I believe we are now in the early stage of this global civilization. The religious and political movements will carry the economical movement to its final triumph and glory. The speed of these movements will defy resistance. It is a Time for Steadfastness We must not plan our lives by the schemes we see with our natural eyes. Look up to the God of Scripture and promise; and live, only by the clear teaching of the Holy Bible. Do not alter your Biblical faith by emotionally perceived events around you. Plain teachings of the Bible have not changed and new theologies are always evident when there are unusual clouds on the world horizon. Keep your soul on the steady course, plainly set in every Word of God. Don't listen to those who spiritualize Scripture or have some new revelation to proclaim. This is Satan's way of beguiling unstable souls that have failed to fill their mind with the Word. Israel & So-Called 'Social Justice' - By Justin Amler - http://www.prophecynewswatch.com/article.cfm?recent_news_id=2642 Social-justice warriors and progressives went berserk this week when Israel exercised its right, as any sovereign nation, to determine who enters its borders. It barred an anti Israeli American student from entering the country and ordered her deported over her alleged support for anti-Israel boycott efforts. There are few places on earth whose very mention causes anger hives to break out, rivers of rage to flow and violent marches of madness to occur, like one small country on the eastern shores of the Mediterranean Sea. That place, of course, is Israel--a country, according to some fanciful media, that is a kind of mammoth superstate that encompasses most of the Middle East, continually gobbling up surrounding lands and expelling its people. It is amazing that there is more time devoted by supposed "human rights" groups, United Nations resolutions and other so-called "freedom" movements, on this country than all other countries on earth combined. That means that North Korea, who starves its people; African countries, who ignore their people; Arab regimes, who execute their people--all fail to garner the kind of outrage reserved only for this tiny Jewish state. A state 19 times smaller than California and a 103 times smaller than Saudi Arabia. Of course, no country is ever above criticism, yet when it comes to Israel, the social justice that so many of its critics say they crave morphs all too easily into anti-social justice. A case in point is the BDS movement who feature the words, "Freedom, Justice, Equality" under their logo, yet fail to pursue any of those goals. They claim to be a group devoted to freedom for "Palestinian" Arabs, yet not once have we ever seen them actually helping the people they are so "devoted" to. Think about it. Have you ever heard of them doing something, anything, positive or beneficial to the very people in whose name they claim to be carrying out their activities? While "Palestinians" are dying in refugee camps in Syria and denied access to jobs, civil rights and equality under every Arab country, this movement is more concerned with disrupting music festivals that feature Jews or Israelis, using massive intimidation, threats, bullying and intense social-media campaigns. Naturally, they will dismiss claims they are anti-Semitic, yet that is easily debunked, such as when they targeted Jewish singer Matisyahu at a Spanish music festival, threatening him and the festival organizers itself if he played--and he isn't even Israeli! Singling out Jews for criticism or holding them to a different standard is one of the fundamental canards of historical anti-Semitism. BDS is a group more interested in taking cherry tomatoes off supermarket shelves than helping ordinary "Palestinians" feed and take care of themselves. Every 'success' of theirs means more suffering for those ordinary Arabs who are just trying to make a living. This was perfectly illustrated when they successfully forced the Israeli company SodaStream to relocate from their Judea and Samaria location, forcing thousands of Arabs citizens of the Palestinian Authority to lose their jobs. The hypocrisy of the leaders and advocates of this movement is so blatant, further evidenced by BDS leader Omar Barghouti, who studied at Tel Aviv University in the same country he wants to boycott! Or how about fierce Israeli critic, Roger Waters, who has no problem playing with great enthusiasm in Russia--not exactly known as the gold standard in human rights. Then there are the rising young stars of the Democratic Party--young and hip and good-looking millennials, whose anti-Israel stance will guarantee their status as social justice warriors. Stars such as Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who openly criticizes Israel for "the occupation of Palestine" yet in a PBS interview admits she actually knows nothing about Israel! Or how about Julia Salazar, the pro-BDS "Jewish" successful candidate, who it turns out isn't even Jewish! With Julia, every day is a new adventure as each lie begins to unravel with the frequency of a day time soap opera scandal. I suppose there's a romantic connotation for someone who fights for justice, someone who fights for freedom, someone who fights for the little guy. And why not? We all like to believe in the common man or the common woman taking on those mighty institutions who would roll over your rights and roll over your freedoms without so much as battering an eyelid. When that justice is so misaligned, so misrepresented and so distorted, it fails to represent real justice, instead becoming a warped reality of a false justice. Israel is the perfect example of this distortion, for there are few countries who contribute more to the well-being of the world in fields such as farming and irrigation and fighting poverty and so many other endeavors than Israel, yet there are also few countries that are scrutinized more, misjudged more and unfairly misrepresented than Israel. Real issues affecting the entire human race are being ignored due to this hateful obsession--an obsession that would rather see the destruction of all of humanity than support for the Jewish homeland. So, now I say it's time ... Time to tackle the lack of human rights in Arab countries. Time to deal with the lack of clean drinking water in African states. Time to account for the lack of accountability for U.S. money spent on despotic regimes. Time to sanction the ongoing terrorism perpetrated by groups such as Hamas, Hezbollah and the Palestinian Authority. But most importantly, it's time for the world to get "unwoke" and wake up instead. The elections that led up to the American Civil War are noted as history's most crucial vote. What makes the 2018 election vitally important is what is at stake: democracy. The people on the left have long suffered from some from illogical thought. What the Republicans face in this race is pure insanity. This mob will do anything to separate us from our liberty. There is no behavior that is too shameful, childish, immoral, or unethical. They are willing to destroy our nation, as long as it means they are left to rule over the carnage. It is understandable that all the network comedy shows were against Brett Kavanaugh. What is shocking is just how vile they were in their attacks. A writer for CBS's "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" celebrated the damage done to Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh's reputation. "Whatever happens, I'm just glad we ruined Brett Kavanaugh's life," the writer, Ariel Dumas, posted on Twitter. The woman should be fired for her comment, but she won't because cruelty and ruthlessness are the key skills required to work in the liberal entertainment industry. The Democrats' fixation on impeachment should concern people of all political persuasions. They have already promised that, if they take control of Congress, they will introduce measures to impeach President Trump. New Jersey Sen. Cory Booker said last Sunday that the possibility of impeaching Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh shouldn't be off the table. The left is constantly talking about how the government needs to be restructured: The Electoral College is outdated because Hillary Clinton would have won under a straight-line vote. They don't like that many red states with a small population have two senators. They also think we need to add more justices on the Supreme Court, which is an old trick that President Roosevelt tried to pull off. The founding fathers of America came up with one of the greatest systems of government when they wrote the Constitution. This document has protected our nation many times from attacks. The founders knew that unless the people remained moral and God-fearing, their effort would be in vain: "We have no government armed with power capable of contending with human passions, unbridled by morality and religion. Avarice, ambition, revenge or gallantry would break the strongest cords of our Constitution as a whale goes through a net. Our Constitution is designed only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate for any other." - John Adams October 11. 1798 "Of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity, religion and morality are indispensable supports. . . . And let us with caution indulge the supposition that morality can be maintained without religion." - George Washington in his "Farewell Address" The reason why a biblical perspective is so important to a civil society is because, without God, man has no moral compass. After the loss of the 2016 presidential race, the last two Supreme Court nominations, and hopefully next month's midterm election, it should dawn on the Democrats that they are moving in the wrong direction. No, they think more of the same action is needed. After failing to stop Kavanaugh's confirmation, Democrats are now wondering if it's time to be more ruthless. Former attorney general under Obama, Eric Holder, said when conservatives "go low" the left should "kick them," and Hillary Clinton said the "time for civility is over... ." In the past two years, a congressman was shot, a senator had his ribs broken in an attack, and the last six times a government official was chased out of a restaurant, the victims were all Republicans. If the Democrats are going to stop being nice, the GOP will need to stock up on bulletproof vests. I do not think there is any way to quell the rage we witnessed last week. The Democrats could get slaughtered at the polls, and they would just scream louder. The left needs to become profoundly more insane if it is to reach the point where the Bible predicts it will be part of the nations that think they are capable of raging war against God himself. Unfortunately, it is ignored by most and even hated by others. The Bible, God's holy word, tells how God's greatest creation, man, rebelled and thereby disqualified all who would be born in the flesh from the portal of Heaven. Adam and Eve, our original Mom and Pop were created by God, and all of us since have been born in the flesh. Adam and Eve sinned against their Creator God and all born from them since inherit their sin nature. Therefore, all are guilty before God and condemned along with Satan and the angels who rebelled against God. Through Adam and Eve a choice was made; either listen to God and obey Him or listen to Satan and rebel against God. The wrong choice was made and all of mankind is guilty before Almighty God and will be judged in the lake of fire along with Satan and his angelic followers. God says, Romans 3:23 - "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God," Romans 6:23a - "For the wages of sin is death..." That's the bad news! The end of mankind! It could end right here, but it doesn't! God also says, Romans 3:24-26 - "and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement, through the shedding of his blood-to be received by faith. He did this to demonstrate his righteousness, because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished-he did it to demonstrate his righteousness at the present time, so as to be just and the one who justifies those who have faith in Jesus." Romans 6:23b - "but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." That's the GOOD NEWS!!! The bad news is eliminated for every individual that accepts the Good News of Jesus Christ. God provided through His Son Jesus the payment for all our sins against Him. All He requires of us is to come to Him through His Son. If we will do that, God will accept the redemption price Jesus paid to buy us from the slave market of sin and adopt us into His very own eternal family. By the way, what was the redemption price? It cost Jesus His own blood to purchase all those who will come to Him to be saved. Every human being throughout history stands in the exact same spot Adam and Eve stood. A decision must be made. Do I listen to God or do I listen to the serpent (Satan)? Each of us must decide for ourselves. Adam and Eve made a decision that affected not only them, but all who were born after them. That decision cast a black cloud over all of mankind, but only for those who refuse to accept God's provision made for us all. There is no black cloud hanging over my life because I made a decision to call upon Jesus to be redeemed by His precious blood. Many of you can say the same, but most are still walking on this earth with a black cloud of eternal judgment hanging over their head. If God required good works of us, most of us would be on that bandwagon. Most people are on that path already, but God cannot and will not accept even one of our works for salvation. Why you say? We must be absolutely sinless and perfect in every way, for God to accept our works. None of us qualify. Only God qualifies, and that is why He sent Himself to pay our debt in the person of His Son Jesus. Think about it. Mankind is under the judgment of God, but God stepped in and took the judgment He proclaimed against us, upon Himself. He provided all who will come to Him through Jesus the only way we can have fellowship with Him. He provided for us salvation. He provided for us a home with Him for eternity, and so much more. All He requires is our faith in Him. If we will use the faith He provides us, and believe in Him, He will guarantee our spiritual growth and fellowship with Him. The entire Bible, from Genesis to Revelation is all about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I am reminded of Jesus' conversation with two of His disciples on the road to Emmaus. "And beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, he explained to them what was said in all the Scriptures concerning himself." Luke (24:27) That includes all of the Old Testament, and obviously, all of the New Testament concerns Jesus. All of the Bible is about Jesus. It is about His Gospel. It is about Him. Why is this holy book from God being so maligned and hated today? Could it be because it is all about Jesus? Why would anyone hate Jesus? Maybe it is because Satan hates Jesus, and because Jesus makes it very, very clear that He is the ONLY way of salvation. He is the ONLY way to the Father. They are very important. Christians, in particular, will determine the outcome just as they did the previous presidential election. They must be discerning and motivated to vote. As Christians, we are charged with Romans 12:21, "Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good." Many Christians argue that they are not to be involved in any sort of government or politics. This is wrong-minded thinking. We are to be salt and light to the world. When we have the freedom and the opportunity to shape our nation from a strategic position, we are blessed. So many Christians in other countries would cherish that prospect. Your vote counts. There is a lot of debate about the candidates. How do we decide who to vote for when none of the candidates match well with our Christian values? I cannot tell you how to vote. I can share with you how I determine the candidate of my choice. Simply look at what these people say they stand for and choose the one who most closely aligns with God's precepts. If neither candidate aligns, choose the one that your spirit tells you is the better of the choices. I have heard so many arguments over the years about this simple method, such as "God would not choose either of these candidates, so choosing one is falling in with the devil." Well, don't be so sure about that. God has used many a human throughout history that didn't closely align with his principles and he used them/worked through them to his good. Another argument is the principled choice where a candidate that has no chance of winning most closely aligns with Christian values. That's a very noble concept, but it doesn't affect the outcome. It is a wasted vote. You see, getting behind such a good person should be done early in the campaign process, not just at the ballot box. When there is a really good candidate, he/she needs the backing of good people early on to create an opportunity to win. Don't think you are making some sort of moral statement by voting for someone who has no chance to make a difference. It may make you feel better, but that two-three percent vote may prevent someone from winning that can make a difference. So, by your vote, you actually aided the worse of choices. I realize these comments will make some people really angry. It's just my opinion. Do what you will, but understand you have the power of the vote and you should exercise it. For me, the criteria I use is the overall moral barometer. I weigh whether the candidate has a socialist or communist lean-for both are against God. Are they pro-life? Are they pro-marriage? Do they believe in free speech, or do they wish to impose soft tyranny by labeling people who disagree with them? Who supports them? Are they willing to ruin a person's life to advance their party's agenda? Do they promote their views with direct language or do they skirt issues to deceive? These are all part of the Christian discerning voter's guide. Oh, that you would choose life, so that you and your descendants might live!" (NLT). Our choices not only affect us but our children-and potentially our grandchildren and our great-grandchildren. Ungodly decisions can impact a family for generations. Godly decisions can impact a family for generations as well. Every day we are faced with every kind of choice imaginable, such as what we will eat, what we will wear, what route we'll take when we're driving somewhere, what emails and texts we'll send, and how we'll respond to those emails and texts. All kinds of choices run through our minds. In fact, we all will face the three Cs of life: challenges, choices, and consequences. Those challenges may come as opportunities or as temptations. The hardest thing to learn in life is which bridge to cross and which bridge to burn, because choices are important. We see this in the lives of two believers: Abraham and Lot. Abraham, for the most part, made the right choices in life. Lot, on the other hand, made a series of wrong choices that he lived to regret. Our choices do matter. God will show us the choice to make, but it is still up to us to act on that choice. We cast the deciding vote by what we do. We make our choices, and our choices will make us.
