Revelation 4:1-2: Come Up Hither - By John M -
https://www.raptureready.com/2019/10/22/revelation-41-2-come-hither-john-m/ Revelation 4:1-2 states, "After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter. And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne." Are the above scriptures referring to the rapture of the Church? The Apostle John dictated 7 letters from Jesus Himself pertaining to 7 Churches in Asia Minor or modern-day Turkey. Why these 7 Churches? Why was the Church in Jerusalem not included? If you look closely at these 7 epistles, they may represent each period of the Church age. The Church at Ephesus may represent the apostolic period, and the Laodicea Church may represent the apostate or lukewarm period. If this is true, the lukewarm Church is the Church in our time. It will be the last Church before the rapture. This is the dominant Church in America and Europe. When the Apostle John wrote "after this," "Hereafter," I believe he was referring to after the Church age. The "door" opened in heaven is Jesus Himself. John 10:7 & 9 states, "Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep. I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture." Jesus stated emphatically in John 14:6 that He is the only way to heaven. Jesus is the Savior of mankind. He is the Word of God (John 1:1). The "trumpet" is the next key to the puzzle. I Thessalonians 4:13-18 states, "But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words." The above verses in I Thessalonians 4 reveal that "the Lord Himself" will open the door to Heaven and will descend to the clouds. The "trump of God" will sound and the Church will receive their glorified bodies "immediately." I Corinthians 15:51-53 states, "Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality." The Apostle John was taken up in the spirit. The bodies of dead saints will be resurrected and their soul and spirits that are in heaven will be incorporated into their glorified bodies. The saints that are alive will be taken up and changed in less than a second. In a twinkling of an eye, the body corrupted with sin will be changed into a body like the Lord Jesus. 1 John 3:2-3 states, "Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure." What a great promise. What a "comfort." What a "blessed hope"! The Apostle John was taken up in the spirit to view the Lord's Day (Revelation 1:10) or the Day of the Lord, from Heaven. Revelation 3:10-11 states, "Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown." The book of Revelation promises a blessing to those who read it (1:3) and promises the overcoming Church that they will be exempt from "the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world." It is not a shock to see the Apostle John taken up in the spirit because he represents the true Church. After the rapture of the Church or the removal of the Restrainer (the Holy Spirit that indwells the Church), God will turn His focus to Israel. God has made covenants with Israel, which will be fulfilled. Jesus will come suddenly for His bride. We will be transported to heaven until the indignation or tribulation is completed. Jesus stated in John 14:1-3, "Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also." No doubt the Church will be in heaven while God pours out His wrath out on unrepentant mankind. How can anyone deny that Revelation 4:1 is a transition verse or a rapture verse? If you read Revelation 4 - 19, you will notice the Jewishness of the book. Here are some examples:
The Church age is coming to an end. When the Father gives His Son the command, hundreds of millions of believers will be gone in a less than a second. The only way to go in the rapture is to be born again. But, Christian, do not tempt God by using grace as a license to sin (Romans 6). You must confess that you are a sinner. That is repentance. It is a change of mind about one's spiritual condition. Many of the Jewish leaders during Jesus's 1st time advent did not change their mind about their sinful condition. Their sin remained. Many were removed from their own olive tree (Romans 11:17, 19, 24). You must believe in your heart that Jesus is the Son of God, He died for your sins on the cross, and was resurrected on the third day (I Corinthians 15:1-4). Once you are saved, you live by faith. You build that faith through prayer, fasting, Bible study, and trials and tribulations. When you become a believer in Jesus, you will know if you are out of God's will. The Holy Spirit will convict you of your sin. You keep your heart tender by confessing your sins to God (1 John 1:9) and confessing your faults to one another (James 5:16). You confess your sins, forgive, forget, and restore in that order. Your faith in Christ and His finished work on the cross must be the focus of your faith (I Corinthians 1:18, 23, 2:2; Galatians 6:14; Hebrews 12:2). Please do not go back under the Mosaic Law or under man's law. If you live by law instead of grace, Satan and your sin nature will attack your faith (Galatians 5:1-4, 19-21). Please read Acts 15, Romans, and Galatians regarding law versus grace. The Bible states very clearly that "some will depart from the faith" in the last days (I Timothy 4:1). Why? Because of "seducing spirits and doctrines of demons." Please, ask the Lord where He wants you to serve. Your faith is the most important part of your armor (Ephesians 6:16). Thank the Father each day for sending His Son to die for your many sins. Tell the lost what Jesus has done for you. If you accepted Jesus, welcome to the Kingdom of God. The next sound you may hear is "Come up Hither." Amen. God Bless. Will Iran move from small nuke violations to the countdown to a bomb? - By Yonah Jeremy Bob - https://www.jpost.com/Opinion/Security-and-Defense-From-rocky-to-explosive-605739 Security and Defense: From rocky to explosive? The problem with deadlines is that they force you either to act or look weak due to inaction. Will Iran's expected November deadline and expected new violation of the 2015 nuclear deal finally lead to speeding up the countdown toward Tehran breaking out to a nuclear weapon and a possible Israeli or US preemptive strike? Iran's three previous deadlines for the US to remove the sanctions against it and three recent minor violations of the deal have failed to pressure the US, Israel, the Saudis and most of the West into submitting to its positions. The Islamic Republic wants the deal to remain as is. In contrast, the other parties want a combination of extending the nuclear limits beyond the mid-2020s, new limits on Iran's hegemonic ambitions in the Middle East and new limits on its ballistic missile program. Will the first week of November be just one more marker in a slow-motion deterioration in the US-Iran nuclear standoff, where both sides are still trying to minimize any major escalation? Or will the cool and low-grade conflict finally explode into a full-fledged hot conflict? As usual, the devil is in the details. After the Islamic Republic's September violation of the nuclear deal, there was speculation that Iran would finally up its uranium enrichment to the 20% level. Many top experts say that this would be a game changer. Enrichment to the 20% level could cut Tehran's timeline to a nuclear bomb from 12 months to six months. That kind of a moving of the goalposts would likely lead to at least getting preemptive strike options ready. Another major escalation that could cut the timeline all the way down to six months would be if Iran were to reinstall and start operating most of its IR-2m centrifuges for enriching uranium. Its standard IR-1 centrifuges are much less efficient. Iran's increasingly aggressive behavior since its September deadline appears to indicate desperation and a greater readiness to let the standoff spin out of control. It ordered or spearheaded an audacious and massive multifaceted attack on Saudi oil fields. Also, it rejected a French compromise offer, which would have included a meeting between US President Donald Trump and Iranian President Hassan Rouhani. Tehran's attack on the Saudis was more brazen, and caused far more pressure on the Saudis and the world economy than its previous smaller and more camouflaged military moves against Saudi and US-allied oil tankers. Searching for a diplomatic achievement in September, Trump appeared ready - against the advice of his advisers - to accept a French deal for dialing down the nuclear standoff. France proposed that the US effectively roll back its sanctions by half in exchange for Iran returning to the nuclear deal limits as well as a $15 billion economic lifeline from the European Union. But Trump wanted a summit and a photo-op, and Rouhani bristled at the idea of looking too cozy with Trump absent a broader deal that permanently removes US sanctions. In addition, Trump's withdrawal from Syria has caused worries in Israel that Iran would view the move as a sign of weakness and would become even more aggressive on all the possible playing fields. And yet, Iranian officials signaled last week that its next violation would be another gradual escalation, not a major spike. They said that they may start placing limits on their cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency. Of course, we need to wait to see what these limits mean. If the limits mean that the IAEA cannot monitor the areas where most of the Islamic Republic's centrifuges for uranium enrichment are, this could be a major violation. If the IAEA cannot monitor the centrifuges, it would not even know if Tehran reinstalled the approximately 14,000 centrifuges (representing about 75% of the total) that it disconnected in 2015. In that case, Israel and the US would need to start planning for the possibility that Iran is trying to clandestinely break out to a bomb without monitoring. But chances are that Iran will not risk such an escalation. Restrictions on IAEA inspections will probably be more limited, so that Rouhani will not need to worry about unnecessarily scaring Israel or the US into action. Signals along these lines come from a combination of Iran-promoted stories about new talks with the Saudis, and separate talks with China toward resolving the various standoffs. After an Iranian ship was hit by missile strikes, it accused the US, Israel and the Saudis of cooperating, but has not rushed to retaliate. A reported US cyberattack on Iran has left Tehran denying there was any attack, another likely sign of a desire to de-escalate and avoid further embarrassment. Also, Rouhani may finally be facing real pressure from the EU. Angered by the last four months of Iranian violations of the nuclear deal, harassment of EU ships and clandestine espionage operations on EU soil, France, England and Germany threatened Iran last month that they would pull out of the nuclear deal if the Islamic Republic were to go too far. Iran is already not getting much business from the EU, due to US sanctions. But if that EU-3 group pulled out of the JCPOA, they could also trigger snap-back sanctions at the UN. Sanctions from the UN could force China and Russia to toe the sanctions line, something that would be a much bigger blow to Iran's already shaky economy. At the same time, Iranian proxies in Lebanon and Iraq are dealing with unprecedented protests from their own Shi'ite sector against the poor economic situation. In this volatile mix, Rouhani and his boss, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, may slow-walk any further escalations. Until the US canceled waivers for eight countries in May - waivers that had allowed those countries to maintain business with Iran without getting sanctioned - Khamenei appeared ready to patiently wait out Trump until the November 2020 US election. From May to September, Khamenei ramped up the pressure, hoping to gain some ground in the nuclear standoff. But now Iran may see that its successes over the last several months have only been tactical. Blowing up or commandeering US or US-allied assets has created some pressure on the West to cut a deal with Iran that would remove Trump's sanctions, yet it has not changed America's basic conditions for that to happen. If increasing tensions at a low-grade level is starting to raise costs for Iran more than achieving benefits, then Khamenei is back to the choices of cutting a deal along the lines of what the US wants, waiting for the 2020 election, or breaking out to a nuclear weapon. In a September exclusive about Mossad director Yossi Cohen, The Jerusalem Post reported that sources close to him expect that the US would participate with Israel in a preemptive strike on Tehran's nuclear facilities if Khamenei tried to dash toward a bomb. This despite Trump's failure to use force to retaliate when Iran shot down an expensive US drone. There may be some sense in the view that Trump sees an Iranian nuclear bomb as a redline that would change his approach, an approach that has otherwise deemphasized using US military force in the Middle East. If Khamenei does not want to risk an attack on his nuclear facilities and is not ready at least for the French compromise (maybe he will unexpectedly become more open to this), then by the process of elimination, waiting and keeping the kettle at a low boil is his only option. Of course, continued low-grade escalations have their own price in exposing that Iran keeps blinking first and that it will not yet go the mat to break the deadlock. Come the first week of November, if Khamenei and Rouhani do not accomplish anything new strategically, they may wish that they had not set any deadlines. The Year of Jubilee - By Jack Kelley - https://gracethrufaith.com/topical-studies/holidays-and-holy-days/the-year-of-jubilee/ An incredible law of God that is never kept. The Jubilee Year is explained in Leviticus 25. Like the other Sabbaths (holy days) described there, it is a day set apart for both historical and prophetic fulfillment. Its exact timing is subject to controversy, due to confusion as how the years between Jubilees are reckoned. Most believe that Jubilee years can no longer be calculated. To over simplify, every 50th year was a Jubilee year. And to commemorate that year, the Israelites were to do three things. Give it Back First, recognizing that the land was really the Lord's and they were but tenants, any land they had acquired since the last Jubilee had to be returned to the original family to whom the Lord had granted it. He clearly told them that His land could neither be bought nor sold (nor given away, as some point out relative to "land for peace" negotiations.) By the way, an essential element of the Camp David Accord justifying the return of the Sinai Peninsula to Egypt was the fact that the Lord had never given it to Israel in the first place. Therefore, it could be given back with out violating biblical laws. In adding land to their holdings then, the Israelites were really only "buying" the number of harvests until the next Jubilee, so the "seller" was to price the transaction accordingly. If a family somehow lost their land through default or bankruptcy, it was up to the next of kin to buy it back immediately if he could. If not, it was returned anyway the next Jubilee year. Paid in Full Second, all debts were to be forgiven. Any money owed you by another was to be written off, and the debt canceled. Same with money you owed. I'm Free In those days, if you incurred a debt and somehow became unable to pay, you enslaved yourself or a member of your family to your creditor to work off the balance. Thus the third provision of the Jubilee Year; all slaves were freed and returned to the family land. Under these provisions then, about once in every lifetime the slate was wiped clean. Those who had not fared well got another chance, but this restart also took away much of the motivation to amass wealth or create a large estate for one's heirs. It was the Lord's responsibility to take care of His people after all, and they were not to worry about the future. They were to focus on their relationship with Him, placing their future in His hands. Wait a minute, you say. A program like that would ruin today's economy-perhaps even destroy our way of life. That's right, and that's just the point. Our way of life was never intended by God. He never wanted us to experience the stress, anxiety, disappointment, and down right fear that is so prevalent in peoples lives today as they struggle to either get or keep more of "the finer things of life." He never intended for us to become so preoccupied by material wealth and comfort that we lost sight of Him or to be so focused on the transitory treasure of this world that we would actually be willing to forfeit the permanent wealth of the next one. Like so many of His laws that we in this age of Grace look down our noses and scoff at, The Law of Jubilee was intended for our long term benefit as well as our short term comfort. What's Next? The prophetic fulfillment should be obvious. One day soon, all the land called Planet Earth will revert to its only original owner, the one who created it. (Remember, our Father God created their Mother Nature). All the debts we owe to Him will be forgiven in fact as they have been in faith, and all the slaves (to sin) will be freed from that curse forever. So when you pray, "Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done," you're really praying for that final and ultimate Jubilee year. Trump Derangement Syndrome - By Geri Ungurean - https://www.raptureready.com/2019/10/18/trump-derangement-syndrome-geri-ungurean/ Let's go back to a date in our history, which to Leftist Americans and media is a day that will go down in Infamy. (taken from a quote by FDR after the bombing of Pearl Harbor.) Of which date do I speak? Of course, it was November 8th of 2016 aka "The Day the Music Died" to Socialists and Communists across America. I can picture old George Soros, of whom I have written numerous articles through the years, hurling an expensive paper weight through a window while spewing Hungarian expletives for hours and hours. We also read that Hillary Clinton had a nuclear meltdown, cussing anyone and everyone out who was associated with her campaign. I can actually picture this: Hillary with glowing red demonic eyes, screaming in decibels previously unknown to man as her peons scattered like cockroaches to avoid the wrath of the queen. All those plans, all those 'Dreams of Someone's Father' all gone up in smoke. "How did this happen?" was asked over and over at CNN (Communist News Network) and amongst the Elite who had this planned so well.........they thought. But God Had Other Plans "There are many devices in a man's heart; nevertheless the counsel of the Lord, that shall stand" (Proverbs 19:21). As Christians, it should be obvious to us that the so-called "Trump Derangement Syndrome" is satanic to its core. The hatred of Trump by liberal Leftists is beyond anything I have ever witnessed in my entire life. This hatred from the hearts of Leftist atheists is born from the prince of the air - the god of this world, the one who will ultimately be thrown into the lake of fire, along with his fallen angels. You see, the devil's desires for this world are aligned with the Left. Let me show you:
Satan is a Leftist Does that sound silly? It wasn't meant to be. Satan is longing for the NWO to be in place. This will set the stage for Satan's man (Antichrist) to deceive the nations of the world, and take his place as its ruler. I believe that there is more demonic possession of people in our world today than any other time in history. How many times have you read "This world has gone mad!" I've seen this in print countless number of times. And it's usually from Conservatives who are not Christian. As believers, we have the Word of God, and we know that all of this was prophesied. Yes - the world HAS gone mad! Remember the demoniac in Scripture before Jesus cast out those devils named Legion? To me that is a snapshot of those marching for their causes, be it global warming or transgenderism or even their collective hatred of our president. It's DEMONIC. Leftists Cannot Articulate Why They Hate Trump: I have asked more than one person in my liberal Jewish family WHY they hate President Trump so much. I told them that I really wanted to understand this kind of hatred. And do you know what? After hemming and hawing, they finally just used the buzz words - he's a bigot - he's gross - he's against gays - he hates Jews.... yada yada yada. After these ridiculous claims against Trump, I tell these relatives that they have not given me ONE specific event that supports any of the hatred. A bigot? Because he wants to keep America safe from unvetted illegal aliens who have criminal records? He's gross? Because he has said a few things about women? I could spend an hour on this one, talking about Bill Clinton, but I don't want to become nauseated. He's against gays? Actually, I have been disappointed at times of his fervent support of gays. I felt that he went way above and beyond what he needed to say. He hates Jews? REALLY? His own daughter converted to Judaism, and Trump has been so wonderful to Israel, more than any president in history. SO wonderful, Israel has his face on a coin and has named a town after him. Doesn't sound like anti-Semitism to me. So, while the talking heads stay within the political realm when attempting to explain Trump Derangement Syndrome, this writer knows the truth. And that truth is that Satan HATES President Trump and knows that God put Trump in his position as President for His own reasons. Trump is God's man for this point in history. Before someone jumps me about whether Trump is a Christian or not - I personally do not feel that he is born again. But that does not negate everything he has done since that night in 2016 when our Lord placed Trump as President of the United States. What will happen in 2020? Whoever wins, I do know this: The Lord God allowed it to happen. And we who belong to the Lord will continue sharing the Gospel and yearning for the return of our Lord Jesus to rapture us away from this horrible place. Shalom b'Yeshua MARANATHA!! [email protected] Articles at grandmageri422.me Daily Jot: Millennials want to rewrite First Amendment - Bill Wilson - www.dailyjot.com The First Amendment is outdated and should be re-written, according to a 51% majority of Americans responding to a Campaign for Free Speech (CFS) poll. At the same time 80% of the respondents didn't actually know what speech is protected under the First Amendment. CFS says respondents believed the following statement is true: "The First Amendment allows anyone to say their opinion no matter what, and they are protected by law from any consequences of saying those thoughts or opinions." CFS reports, "It's actually not true. The First Amendment prevents the government from punishing you for your speech (with exceptions such as yelling "fire" in a crowded area to induce panic)." Some 51% of Americans, including 57% of Millennials surveyed agreed with the following statement: 'The First Amendment goes too far in allowing hate speech in modern America and should be updated to reflect the cultural norms of today.' Trouble is, there is no real definition of hate speech because it is subjective. We have seen in today's American society that hate speech for one is truth for another. For example, it is just fine to label in the most inflammatory terms someone a bigot, racist, homophobe, Islamophobe, misogynist, xenophobe or some other popular slur if they disagree with a political position, but if a preacher from the pulpit quotes the Bible about homosexuality, now that is hate speech. Could it be that Americans have become so saturated with the visceral speech in society that they are weary of free speech? To me, freedom of speech comes with responsibility. Yes, you have the right to say what you want, and the government cannot suppress it. You also have the right to say hateful or extreme words, phrases, and sentences, but those who heard you also have the right to mete out the consequences-you could lose your job, your friends, or people could just shun you. There are consequences to what you say. As a matter of law, the government cannot censure your free speech, but the rest of society doesn't have to put up with it. My mother used to say, "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all. So you have the right to speak your mind, but should you? The Bible has a lot to say about our speech. Christ said in Matthew 5:37, "But let your 'Yes' be 'Yes,' and your 'No,' 'No.' For whatever is more than these is from the evil one." Christ gave us good reasons to take his advice in Matthew 15:19 when he said, "For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies." Colossians 4:6 says, "Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man." James states that the tongue, "is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison." The 9th Commandment says, "Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor." In Hebrew, it's called "Lashon hara," or evil tongue. Instead of rewriting the First Amendment, it is wiser to take responsibility and hold accountability for what we say to one another. Daily Devotion: Does Meek Mean Weak? - by Greg Laurie - www.harvest.org Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.-Matthew 5:5 We don't hear a lot about meekness today. It isn't celebrated, but it is really important. Jesus said, "Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth" (Matthew 5:5 NKJV). To put it another way, you can be blessed if you're a meek person. It means that you are no longer inflated with pride. You have seen your real condition, and as a result, you're meek. By the way, weakness and meekness are not the same. Let's say, for example, that you're a professional boxer. And let's say that someone is harassing you. But you don't hit them back, even though you could. You choose not to strike back, even though they're mistreating you. That is not weakness. That is meekness. Now let's say that have no fighting skills at all and someone is harassing you. But you don't hit back. That's because you don't really have a lot of options. On the other hand, the person who knows how to fight has an option. Even so, they choose not to exercise that option. That is meekness. It means power under constraint. The word Jesus used here for meek is a Greek term that describes the breaking of a powerful stallion. Have you ever been on a horse that didn't want to do what you wanted it to? When a horse submits to the rider's will, that is meekness. In the same way, when we surrender ourselves to God's will, we exhibit meekness. How different this is from our culture. In the Bible, the last are first. Giving is receiving. Dying is living. Losing is finding. The least are the greatest. Weakness is strength. A happy person, therefore, will be a meek person. Seeing ourselves as we really are produces a vital spiritual quality: meekness. FROM THE HEART
