Antichrist & the Coming Fourth Reich: Part 1 - By Vanessa P. -
https://www.raptureready.com/2018/10/28/antichrist-coming-fourth-reich-part-1-vanessa-p/ 2 Thess 2:4 "Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God." Turkish President Erdogan announced plans to form a new Islamic Union led by Turkey. Erdogan has been on a mission to revive the Turkish-ruled Ottoman Empire and has met with Iranian leaders several times. Erdogan has vowed he will remove Syrian President Bashar Assad from power in Damascus. Isaiah 17 has yet to be fulfilled; the fulfillment of Isaiah 17 and the destruction of Damascus is very near, as is the Psalm 83 war. The end-time nations have started to gather, one way or another, in Syria. Paul, while on the road to Damascus, became a Christian and changed the course of human history. He became the bridge between Christians and Jews. With the coming destruction of Damascus, the course of human history will change again. Revelation 22:18 "For I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book; and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the Book of Life, from the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book." The Islamic religion, once you get to the core, resembles Catholicism an awful lot. But it also resembles Judaism in many ways. Muhammad copied from the Bible and the Torah; he took God's word and made it his own. The very last paragraph in the Bible, in Revelation, warns against this. Muhammad's blasphemy has led millions upon millions of people astray. God will add to his punishment for this. There are many similarities between Judaism and Islam, and the similarities between their Messiah and our Antichrist are startling. The word Messiah simply means "anointed one." The Jewish people are looking for a King David-like figure. Even though both Christians and Jews worship the same God, the Jewish people are not seeking Jesus, or anyone even like Jesus. They are seeking an earthly King or Messiah. The same sort of Messiah the Muslims are seeking. The Meshiach, or Jewish Messiah, will bring political and spiritual redemption to the Jews. He will establish a government in Israel that will be the center of all world government for Jews and Gentiles. He will rebuild the Temple and re-establish temple worship (Jeremiah 33:18). The Jewish idea of Meshiach is a great human leader, not a savior like Jesus. Not the Son of God. The Islamic Messiah, or Mahdi as Muslims call him, hold the belief that the Mahdi will appear as a messianic figure, same as the Jews. Even with the Shia /Sunni divide, all Muslims agree on the coming Mahdi. This coming Mahdi or Messiah will bring false peace to the earth. He will ultimately stand in the newly built Jewish Temple proclaiming himself to be God. Both Jews and Muslims believe this coming Messiah, or Antichrist, will rule from Jerusalem. Muslims and Jews believe their Mahdi/Messiah will bring peace to humanity. He will share the wealth between the needy and deserving. He will teach virtue, equality and justice. They are both looking for a political and religious leader who will come when he's needed most, like during a time of war. During the Psalm 83 war perhaps? War brings the loudest cries for peace. The similarities between Islam and Judaism are endless. Both Jews and Muslims refrain from eating pork. Both pray a certain number of times throughout the day, Muslims facing Mecca and the Jews facing Jerusalem; but at one time, the Muslims faced Jerusalem when praying. Muslims are to pilgrimage to Mecca while Jews were to pilgrimage to Jerusalem. In the Bible, we read of the pilgrimages Jesus took to Jerusalem for Passover and other important Sabbatical requirements. "Every year his parents went to Jerusalem for the Feast of Passover. When he was twelve years old, they went up for the feast, according to the custom of the feast. When they had fulfilled the days [of the feast], his parents started home, unaware that the boy Jesus had stayed behind in Jerusalem" (Luke 2:41-43). "Three times a year-on the Feast of Unleavened Bread, on the Feast of Weeks, and on the Feast of Booths-all your males shall appear before the LORD your God in the place that he will choose. They shall not appear before the LORD empty-handed" (Deut. 16:16). They both agree women should be covered; Jews are a bit more relaxed but married women should cover their head. In Islam, all women should cover their head and all men in both religions cover theirs when praying and in their places of worship. Both have strict purifying laws, like purifying the dead and circumcising male infants. Both religions adamantly deny Jesus is the Son of God. Both Jews and Muslims have strict dietary laws. The similarities are endless because they come from Abraham's teachings. Once Ishmael was sent away by Abraham, their relationship did not end. Later in the Bible we read of Ishmael and Isaac burying Abraham together years later. Because of their father, there is unity between them. "And his sons Isaac and Ishmael buried him in the cave of Machpelah, which is before Mamre, in the field of Ephron the son of Zohar the Hittite, the field which Abraham purchased from the sons of Heth" (Gen 25:9). Esau married into Ishmael's family, forever binding the two. Jacob was renamed Israel, forever binding the Jewish people to all of Israel, but especially Jerusalem. And finally, both have a strict dislike for Christianity. The Bible says "The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom you killed, hanging him on a tree" (Acts 5:30). From the Talmud we read of the night Jesus was arrested - "Of all who are guilty of death by the Law, he alone is caught by a ruse. How is it done? They light a candle in an inner room and place witnesses in an adjoining room outside where they can see him and hear his voice, but where they cannot be seen by him....." "That thou mayest never have a son or a disciple who will salt his food so much that he destroys his taste in public, like Jesus the Nazarene." In Orach Chaiim, 113:8 "If a Jew when praying should meet a Christian [Akum] carrying a star [a crucifix] in his hand, even if he has come to a place in his prayer where it is necessary to bow down to worship God in his heart, he must not do so lest he should seem to bow down before an image." Has God turned on Israel or the Jewish people? NO! It is because of the Jewish people's rejection of Christ that Christians received the gift of salvation in the first place. We are saved by Grace, and the Jewish people will return to the Lord their God. Their hearts have purposely been hardened. Romans 11: 25-27 "I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers, so that you may not be conceited: Israel has experienced a hardening in part until the full number of the Gentiles has come in. And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written: The deliverer will come from Zion; he will turn godlessness away from Jacob. And this is my covenant with them when I take away their sins." Romans 11:11-13 "I say then, have they stumbled that they should fall? Certainly not! But through their fall, to provoke them to jealousy, salvation has come to the Gentiles. Now if their fall is riches for the world, and their failure riches for the Gentiles, how much more their fullness! "For I speak to you Gentiles; inasmuch as I am an apostle to the Gentiles, I magnify my ministry, if by any means I may provoke to jealousy those who are my flesh and save some of them. For if their being cast away is the reconciling of the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead?" The Jewish people have not lost God's love or favor. His covenant with them is eternal. There has been an Antichrist spirit over the Middle East all along. Always there, hiding in the shadows. Much more of Europe will fall to the globalist Antichrist powers, but I do not believe the US will. "What has been is what will be, and what has been done is what will be done, and there is nothing new under the sun. Is there a thing of which it is said, See, this is new? It has been already in the ages before us" (Ecclesiastes 1:9-10). The 10th Roman Legion under General Titus Flavius was a legion based in southern Turkey. The 10th Roman Legion consisted mostly of Syrians and Turks, and are also those who destroyed the second Temple in Jerusalem in 70 AD. Today, these countries are almost 100 percent Muslim. They destroyed the second temple and will undoubtedly destroy the third. "The people of the ruler who will come will destroy the city and the sanctuary. The end will come like a flood: War will continue until the end, and desolations have been decreed" (Daniel 9:26). "The greatest part of the Roman garrison was raised out of Syria; and being thus related to the Syrian part, they were ready to assist it." -The Wars of The Jews: History of the Destruction of Jerusalem By Flavius Josephus Trans. William Whiston BOOK II: CHAPTER 13 Paragraph 7. (I suggest reading Josephus' ancient writings.) In 586 BC, Nebuchadnezzar, the King of Babylon, destroyed the first temple. Ancient Babylon is in modern day Iraq, not far from Baghdad. Iraq is a majority Shia country and closely aligned with Iran in belief. Iran also has an embassy in Baghdad and uses it to influence Iraqi politics. Shiite Islam began in Iraq, and the rise of ISIS also began in Iraq. Sina Toossi from the Iranian American Council told Newsweek, "The two neighbors have been bound by deep cultural, commercial and religious ties for centuries." The alliances are being made. In Daniel 9:27, 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4 and Revelation 11:1-2, we read about the third temple to come. Will this be an Islamic Antichrist, with the Pope as the false prophet? The Pope has been an extremely controversial Pope; among his biggest controversies are his claims that you don't have to believe in Jesus Christ to go to heaven. He has even prayed in mosques with Turkey's Erdogan. The Catholic Church has been working to reduce Jewish rights in Jerusalem and in the Old City for years. They have been working to get ownership of the most important Christian sites in Jerusalem, like the upper room. The Pope held a mass there not long ago. The Vatican would like nothing more than to gain full control of the upper rooms, or inner rooms as Jesus called them. Jesus won't be in the desert either. Turkey and surrounding Muslim nations are surrounded by desert. Jesus returns to the Mount of Olives! Jesus said: "Therefore if they say to you, 'Look, He is in the desert!' do not go out; or 'Look, He is in the inner rooms!' do not believe it" (Matthew 24:26). There are two beasts in Revelation: the beast from the sea and the beast from the earth. I believe the beast from the sea is Islam, and the beast from the earth is Catholicism. The beast from the earth appears as a lamb but speaks like a dragon; the dragon is Satan. The Pope appears as a lamb who simply wants to feed children and stop homelessness, but he speaks as a dragon. Both beasts get authority from the dragon, or Satan. "And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spoke as a dragon" (Revelations 13:11). In Adolf Hitler's memoirs, he said, "You see, it's been our misfortune to have the wrong religion. Why didn't we have the religion of the Japanese, who regard sacrifice for the Fatherland as the highest good? The Mohammedan (Islam) religion too would have been much more compatible to us than Christianity. Why did it have to be Christianity with its meekness and flabbiness..." The Holy Roman Empire was historically a German Empire. In Ezekiel 38, Gomer is listed as one of the countries to attack Israel in the last days. Gomer is thought to be modern-day Germany. Daniel 7:6 "After this I looked, and there was another, like a leopard, which had on its back four wings of a bird. The beast also had four heads, and dominion was given to it." Germany's first Reich or Kingdom was the Holy Roman Empire. The second was the German Empire. Hitler, with his Third Reich, tried to exterminate the Jewish people. Reich is simply the German word for kingdom. The coming Fourth Reich, which Germany will be a part of, is emerging today. The leopard's wings represent France; their national symbol is a rooster. France and Germany have a long alliance, dating back to Charlemagne, King of the Franks, who unified Western Europe. Today, they are closer than ever. Charlemagne cemented the idea of a unified Europe. France and Germany are both founding members of the EU, and both welcomed hundreds of thousands of Muslim refugees to the detriment of their own citizens. Both countries use the Euro and are a part of the one-world system. France's Jewish population has been dwindling in recent years due to a rise in persecution. Jewish people have been persecuted, killed and expelled from nation after nation for almost 2,000 years. Many of these Jews are returning home, to Israel! Daniel saw that the one-world beasts "had their dominion taken away: yet their lives were prolonged for a season and time (7:12). The dominion of these countries has greatly diminished, but they are still relevant enough to help decide world matters. Part Two coming soon! Vanessa P [email protected] Will Donald Trump's Mideast Plan Lead To 'Peace & Prosperity'? - By Michael L. Wise - http://www.prophecynewswatch.com/article.cfm?recent_news_id=2687 The Trump administration is searching for the "deal of the century" to secure "peace and prosperity" for Jews and Arabs in Israel, the Palestinian territories, and Judea and Samaria (the "West Bank"). But the two-state solution is not the answer. For those who believe that it is, their conclusions are based on false demographic information and unfounded forecasts. The creation of a Palestinian state in Israel's backyard would lead to the opposite of peace: a terrorist, jihadist, Gaza-like state supported by Israel's enemies that would undermine peace on both sides of the Green Line. Today, Israel and the West Bank are 67 percent Jewish, and less than 30 percent Arab. And Jewish fertility rates exceed those of non-Jews. Thus, the demographic predictions about Israel's demise if there isn't a two-state solution don't appear to be accurate. Political scientists and sociologists claim that a 20 percent to 33 percent minority changes the character of a state. These "scientific" conclusions, however, are based on non-Jewish societies. Can these theories explain Jewish survival in the 2,000-year Diaspora? That survival is a remarkable exception. For 2,500 years, Jewish minorities of one to five percent survived and prospered. Now imagine a 67 percent Jewish country, with a strong Jewish presence in all arenas from arts and sciences to politics, religion, medicine, and law. Will that society lose its Jewish character? Furthermore, concerns about a large minority community are not well conceived. Events surrounding the "Arab Spring" have made it clear to Arabs living in Israel and the West Bank that a blue Israel identity card is a treasured asset. Few Israeli Arabs seek refuge under the Palestinian Authority, or have fled to Gaza or Syria. The Arab population of the West Bank will applaud the opportunity to further participate in Israeli society, and become part of a thriving and just country. Israel's Declaration of Independence guarantees the rights of minorities. But those minorities must also uphold the law of the land -- and reject violence. Palestinian Arabs have been told by their leaders for more than 25 years that there will be an Arab state in Israel's backyard. That is a guaranteed formula to encourage Arab hostility. Once that proposition is laid to rest, the benefits of becoming part of Israel's success will be clear for the vast majority of the Arab population. And how should Israeli sovereignty over Judea and Samaria be implemented? Different paths to this have been proposed, including immediate or phased annexation. Israel's new residents might become permanent residents, or possibly receive renewed Jordanian citizenship. The Trump administration knows that many Palestinians -- including many in the Palestinian Authority -- seek the ultimate destruction of the Jewish state, not peace and prosperity. Until their attitude changes, declaring sovereignty in Judea and Samaria can be the "deal of the century" that leads to peace. News from Hal Lindsey Media Ministries - Hal Lindsey - www.halindsey.com I was thinking yesterday that it seems like every general election is even more critical than the previous one. Like the boy who cried, "Wolf!", I fear that our recurring alarm about the consequences of each election will slowly numb us into a state of despondency. We'll begin to tire of the constant need to be vigilant and pro-active. But the sobering truth is that each election truly IS more important than the last. This one, especially, since our nation appears to be in a moral freefall. I believe this is true simply because over the last two years we have made substantial progress against the forces that are desperately trying to "transform" America into something our Founders would not even recognize. But those forces have not accepted defeat and retired to lives of peaceful co-existence. Instead, they have doubled down. Some have tripled down. Some have gone "kamikaze!" In fact, several prominent Democrats have recently publicly and specifically threatened that civility is dead until they are returned to power. Nonetheless, the truth is that many Americans are rejoicing at the return of a sense of sanity and balance in so many areas of our national life. Ministries such as mine (and many others who are larger and more well-known) suffered through several years of IRS persecution at the hands of the previous administration. We are grateful that this administration has worked hard to eliminate that bias. It has even declared an end to the stifling effects of the notorious "Johnson Amendment." "Merry Christmas" is back. There is unabashed prayer in the Oval Office. In front of the cameras! As a nation, we have loudly proclaimed our support for and solidarity with Israel. We have smashed some of the most dangerous Islamic terrorist forces in the world. We have withdrawn from pacts and partnerships that were not only duplicitous, but dangerous. We are witnessing a restoration of the Constitutional role of the judiciary. We have eased the bureaucratic burdens on industry and business that were choking our national economy. Most of us have seen the immediate benefits in our paychecks. We have unleashed the power of American creativity and productivity and we're seeing a rebirth in hope and optimism among American workers of all races and classes. We are finally seeing the brakes being applied to our mad rush toward a nonsensical world of unlimited and undefined genders. We are seeing a phenomenal surge in our citizens' pride in and appreciation for our military, law enforcement, and first-responders. And the list goes on. In short, I think we are seeing a genuine resurgence of President Reagan's inspiring ideal of America as a "shining city on a hill." We owe much of this progress to President Donald Trump. It's not that he has singlehandedly made these things happen, but his genuine love for America, his optimism, fearlessness, determination, courage, and willingness to suffer the blows, has inspired so many people in so many areas to take a step of faith and do what is right for America. I do not say that President Trump is a man of God, but I firmly believe he is God's man for this time in America. And the world, too. As we hurdle toward the end of this Age, the infrastructure of the Antichrist's government is being constructed with alarming speed. To have the leader of the free world stand tall and threaten the "globalist" forces who are preparing the way of the Antichrist cannot be a coincidence. If nothing else, President Trump is drawing into sharp focus the opposing forces and the battle formations that will soon come into play in the end-times scenario. That means it is time to choose on which side of this battle you will fight. Next Tuesday's general election will not determine the fate of America per se. But it will dramatically affect it. If we vote into office those officials who will stand for and promote Judeo-Christian values and a return to traditional American virtues and morals, then we will see America continue this resurgence. I pray we will see America restored as the most blessed nation in the history of the world. If we vote into office those officials whose only plan is to stop and reverse the progress of the last two years, then we will see America slide back into the morass in which we have languished for the last decade. Simply put, the choice is ours to make on Tuesday, November 6. I think something I wrote in this space last week bears repeating. Bob Dylan once sang this immortal truth in his inimitable style: "You're gonna have to serve somebody, yes, you're gonna have to serve somebody. Well, it may be the devil or it may be the lord, but you're gonna have to serve somebody." Joshua put it as simply as it can be put: "...choose you this day whom you will serve.... as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord." (Joshua 24:15 KJV) God said through Moses in Deuteronomy 30:19, "...I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live...." If you don't lead your family (and your nation) toward God, and plant within them the truth and values that Judeo-Christianity imparts, then chances are that no one will. Can you live with that? I can't. Don't make your choice by staying home on Tuesday. I'll discuss this and America's homegrown terrorists on this week's show. Can We Prove Our Love For God? - By Grant Phillips - https://www.raptureready.com/2018/11/02/can-prove-love-god-grant-phillips/ On one occasion, among many others, the Pharisees tried to trap Jesus with a question. The question was, "What is the greatest commandment in the Law?" "But when the Pharisees had heard that he had put the Sadducees to silence, they were gathered together. Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying, Master, which is the great commandment in the law? Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets." (Matthew 22:34-40) They just knew they had Him, as they had thought at other times, but notice Jesus' response. Jesus said that we are to first love the Lord our God with all our heart, all our soul and all our mind. Then He added that we are to love our neighbor as ourselves, and that the Law and the prophets hang on these two commandments. When He mentioned the Law and the prophets, He was saying that every book in what we call the Old Testament centered on these two commands. If we do not first of all love the Lord our God, we cannot truly love our neighbor, and by the same token, if we do not love our neighbor, we don't really love God. The world often visualizes God in the Old Testament as an angry and vengeful God, and the New Testament as a loving God, but that is not so. Even some who call themselves Christians feel this way. However, God is always a loving God and He never changes. Anyone who sees God as "mean" in the Old Testament cannot truly know Him. They obviously haven't read the Old Testament and understand who He is. With every sacrifice made in the Old Testament was God's proof of His love for us. Every sacrifice pointed to the ultimate sacrifice of His Son on a wooden cross on Calvary. "For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement." (Romans 5:6-11) Let no man ever say that God is mean and vindictive in the Old Testament, but kind and gentle in the New Testament. God's love shines forth on every page of the Bible, whether New or Old Testament. Even in His more than justified judgments, His love and grace can be seen. Now the question remains, "How do we prove our love for God?" Any true Christian who has humbly studied the entire Bible with an open heart yearning for the Truth, will eventually notice that two important facts stand out. Both in the Old and New Testaments these two truths are clearly visible. These two truths are (1) love and (2) obedience. We show our love for Him by obeying Him. The Old Testament in particular speaks of "fearing the Lord thy God." Does that term mean we are to be scared to death of Him? Does it mean we quake in our boots and run and hide? Whenever we see that term, remember that it is speaking of a reverential (respectful, honorable) trust, including the hatred of evil. It is the respect a child would have for their father who will discipline them, but also loves them with all his very being, who would give his life for them. This term is meant for the believer, never the unbeliever. "Ye shall diligently keep the commandments of the LORD your God, and his testimonies, and his statutes, which he hath commanded thee. And thou shalt do that which is right and good in the sight of the LORD: that it may be well with thee, and that thou mayest go in and possess the good land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, To cast out all thine enemies from before thee, as the LORD hath spoken." (Deuteronomy 6:17-19) "And the LORD commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear the LORD our God, for our good always, that he might preserve us alive, as it is at this day. And it shall be our righteousness, if we observe to do all these commandments before the LORD our God, as he hath commanded us." (Deuteronomy 6:24-25) Yes, these passages are written specifically for Israel, but the principle most definitely applies to the Christian today. Think not? Jesus, God in the flesh, said in the New Testament: "If you love me, keep my commandments." (John 14:15) "You are my friends, if you do whatever I command you." (John 15:14) Some Christians try to be very religious to prove they are the elite of God. They have the somber voice of church talk down pat. They display hypocritical emotions on cue. They may even quote some Scripture. Guess what? The Pharisees of Jesus day were super religious, but they hated Jesus. They had Him crucified! The Pharisees of today would no doubt do the same. The apostle Paul was a Pharisee who hated Jesus and tried to eliminate His followers, He thought he loved God and was being obedient to God, until he met Jesus on the road to Damascus. After that meeting, he wanted nothing more to do with religion. He shed the religious hypocrisy and became truly obedient to God. Now why did he do that? He did it because he fell in love with God and chose to serve Him in obedience the rest of his life; i.e. love and obedience. Are you tired of being religious? Would you like to really know God? Come to Him through His Son Jesus. Shed the religious hypocrisy and love Him with all your heart, mind and soul. Obey Him by loving your neighbor and obeying His Word. Remember what Jesus asked Peter, "Do you love me?" My email address has changed to [email protected]. Daily Jot: The real enemy of Americans - Bill Wilson - www.dailyjot.com The news media is having a temper tantrum over President Donald Trump referring to the Fake News Media as the enemy of the American people, but the media continues to affirm his statement. CNN's Chris Cuomo, on Monday's edition of "Let's Get After It," postulated that white men are the terrorists in America. He led into the segment by discussing another news story where a white man in Kentucky gunned down two black people. He said this story was overlooked because of other stories where white men mailed bombs to political figures and killed Jews in Pittsburgh. Now mind you Cuomo is white and he is leading a news segment where the conclusion is that white men are the biggest problem facing America. He is using the examples of these three crimes to prove his point. This is one way Fake News gets its start. Another "journalist," Don Lemon joined Cuomo on his segment referring to the Kentucky shooting, saying, "Now, another one. And then you have all of them in a row...I keep trying to point out to people and not to demonize any one group or any one ethnicity. But we keep thinking that the biggest terror threat is something else, someone people who are marching, you know, towards the border, like it's imminent. And the last time they did this, a couple hundred people came, and you know, most of them did get into the country...So, we have to stop demonizing people and realize the biggest terror threat in this country is white men, most of them radicalized to the right. And we have to start doing something about them. There is no travel ban on them...they had the Muslim ban. There is no white guy ban. So, what do we do about that?" As a point of information, Cuomo, a "journalist," is the liberal son of New York's former governor Mario Cuomo. He backed up his statement about white men being the problem in America with another "journalist" Don Lemon commenting. Lemon is a gay black leftist who characterized Kayne West's appearance at the White House with Trump as "embarrassing" and a "Minstrel Show" while allowing the panelists on his show to say that West was a "token Negro." Both Cuomo and Lemon have a history of biased commentary, yet CNN tries to pass them off as "journalists." The programs these men moderate take positions on political issues and disguise them as legitimate news commentary. The absurdity of their logic is found in the stream of consciousness comparison of the caravan of thousands of illegal aliens approaching America and a ban on Muslims (which is also Fake News) leading to the conclusion that white men are the biggest terror threat to America. All the while, they both are saying that it is wrong to demonize people because of their race or ethnicity. Jeremiah 17:9 says, "The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked." Evil is not a matter of ethnicity or race, it is a matter of the heart. It comes in many forms. For CNN, it is often Fake News generated by twisted political minions disguised as journalists. In another age not so long ago, these men may have been institutionalized. One could conclude that evil is the real enemy of the American people, Fake News is just a form of it. Daily Devotion: Love Is Not Provoked - By Greg Laurie - www.harvest.org Don't let the sun go down while you are still angry, for anger gives a foothold to the devil. -Ephesians 4:26-27 As a child I watched my mom get into fights with the latest husband she was married to, and I heard words that a child never should hear. I saw things that a child never should see. And quite honestly, it was traumatizing to me. When a couple argues, it's traumatizing to their children. Don't do that to your kids. Get away from them if you and your spouse need to. Get alone, work on an issue, and reach some kind of resolution. But don't allow it to go to that place. Love doesn't do that. The Bible tells us that love "is not provoked" (1 Corinthians 13:5 NKJV). Provoked means "to arouse to anger," "a convulsion," or "a sudden outburst." If in your family, if in your marriage, you've started to scream at each other, then you have a problem. You should never do that. It should never get physical. Let me say very clearly that never should there be hitting and striking and screaming and throwing things. You never want it to escalate to that. You need to deescalate it and get the volume down. Try to hear what the other person is saying. Get control of your emotions, and please, don't fight in front of your children. The Bible says, "Don't let the sun go down while you are still angry" (Ephesians 4:26 NLT). Don't go to bed mad at each other. I heard about a husband and wife who decided to put that verse into practice. They made up their minds they would never go to bed mad at each other. Thirty years later, someone asked the husband how it worked out. "You know," he said, "pretty well. But sometimes it was a little rough sitting up all night." Love is kind. It is not provoked. We still have time to reap a great harvest of souls for God's kingdom!" - Hal Lindsey 1) We need your prayers!- We proclaim the Truth of the Word of God and we are under constant spiritual and sometimes even physical attack. 2) We need your encouragement!- We need to hear from you, let us know how the Lord is blessing you through this ministry so that we can share it with others. 3) We need your input! - If you have a prophetic article or story or if there is a news related item we missed, let us know. 4) We need your financial support!- To put it quite simply, without your support, there would be no Prophecy Update. I ask that you would prayerfully consider partnering with us to get the Word out and keep the world informed. Remember, your gift, no matter how small, does make a difference! You will be helping to touch lives, around the world, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, thanks to the internet your generosity carries a global impact! - Thanks! Our Prayer for You- "Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. You will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God. This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of God's people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God. Because of the service by which you have proved yourselves, men will praise God for the obedience that accompanies your confession of the gospel of Christ, and for your generosity in sharing with them and with everyone else." 2 Corinthians 9:10-13 Prophecy Update is a 501 (c) (3) tax exempt - non-profit organization, and all your donations are tax deductible.
