The Bible teaches that we can see the day of our Lord’s return approaching. It seems to me that the peace treaties in the Middle East, the opposition to those treaties by some of Israel’s enemies, the departure from the faith by Pope Francis, the attacks on freedom of religion and free speech, the lawlessness, and the increase in the frequency and intensity of natural disasters are sure signs that society is closing in on the Tribulation Period. Below are some of the things that have recently taken place. One, concerning peace in the Middle East, on Oct. 21, 2020, it was reported that U.S. Ambassador to Israel David Friedman said, “There will be more countries that are in the Arab League that will normalize and make peace with Israel, I have no doubt it is a certainty. How many, in what order, I think everyone will have to wait and see.” Two, On Oct. 23, 2020, Pres. Trump announced that Sudan has agreed to a peace treaty with Israel, and he added that “There are many, many more coming.” This is not the covenant with many, but many are signing or preparing to sign a peace treaty, and it could be a major step toward the covenant with many. Trump was asked if he will have a signing ceremony at the White House for Israel and Sudan like the one he had for the UAE and Bahrain and Israel. He replied, “We will have them along with some other countries that you’ll be hearing about coming, probably simultaneously. Then ultimately, we’re going to have a big reunion at the end where everybody’s here and everybody’s gonna be signed. We expect Saudi Arabia is going to be one of those countries.” Ultimately, there will be a reunion and signing for all (many) of the nations that have normalized relations with Israel. This is beginning to sound like it could develop into the covenant with many. One thing is sure, the Arabs are beginning to separate themselves from the Palestinians and to move closer to a peace treaty with Israel. It is an enormous step forward in Bible Prophecy with major implications for the Rapture, the rise of Antichrist, the Tribulation Period and more. Three, not all agree, but several well-known prophecy teachers believe Israel will get into a war with her neighbors called the Psalm 83 war. The PA, Hamas and Hezbollah (some of Israel’s neighbors) are unhappy with the peace treaties that several Arab nations have signed with Israel. Whether or not they resort to war to stop these treaties remains to be seen. Four, concerning a departure from the faith, on Oct. 21, 2020, Pope Francis said, “Homosexual people have the right to be in a family. They are children of God. You can’t kick someone out of a family, nor make their life miserable for this. What we have to have is a civil union law; that way they are legally covered.” His call for a law to legitimize deviant sexual behavior that the Bible calls an abomination and give it the same status as Biblical marriage between a man and a woman is a departure from Scripture and traditional Roman Catholic teachings. If the Pope is an infallible man of God, wouldn’t you think he would stick to what the Bible says? Five, on Oct. 20, 2020, it was reported that YouTube has admitted that it is removing videos (more than 200,000 since Feb. of this year) that disagree with World Health Organization (WHO) claims. The WHO has been wrong on several issues, but they are trying to silence anyone that disagrees with what they say, and they want to tell U.S. citizens and the Church what to do (wear masks, limit attendance at services, etc.). This is censorship and a denial of free speech, not science. Six, concerning lawlessness (rioting, looting, burning, etc.), there have been several articles stating that a Trump victory will unleash hell on earth. Several groups are threatening violence. One group called Shut Down DC has posted a website message announcing plans to hit the streets between Nov. 4-7 proclaiming that Trump’s victory is an attempted coup against Biden. The group has also announced that it plans to confront members of Congress on Nov. 8-11 as they return to Washington after the election. Businesses near the White House have already started boarding up their windows. Be aware that violence is coming if Trump wins, and it is part of a continuing effort to remove him from office. This may be why Hillary Clinton advised Biden not to concede the election. Seven, concerning natural disasters, on Oct. 23, 2020, it was reported that wildfires in California and Colorado have burned more acres than any year in their history, and approaching 60-80 mph winds with gusts up to 100 mph will grow the fires. In California, about 100,000 people have been driven out of their homes, and about 1,000,000 have had their electricity turned off. In Colorado, seventy-seven per cent of the state is under an extreme drought. In Potomac, Montana, on Oct. 25, 2020, the temperature hit twenty-nine degrees below zero (a record). Spokane, Washington, is experiencing the snowiest October in more than 125 years. On Oct. 26, 2020, it was reported that tropical storm Zeta will turn into a hurricane that will hit the Gulf Coast on Oct. 28, 2020. Zeta is the eleventh Atlantic hurricane in 2020, the third most hurricanes ever in one year, the fifth hurricane to hit the Gulf Coast in 2020, and the Hurricane season is not over. Eight, concerning pestilence, on Oct. 23, 2020, the U.S. had the highest one-day total of new Covid cases ever (83,000 new cases in one day). Pres. Trump said it is because the U.S. is testing more people, not because Covid is getting worse. Nine, several readers have asked me who I think will win the election. I don’t know the answer to that. But I will view a Biden victory as a sign that God has removed His hand of protection from America and that world government, etc. are going to move forward even faster. I will view a Trump victory as a sign that God is going to show grace to America a little longer. Finally, our Christian faith should guide us all of the time, not just part of the time. What we do should be based on the Scriptures even when we are in the voting booth. The Scriptures are very clear about abortion, same-sex marriage, rioting, looting, burning buildings, Israel and more. Do you want to go to heaven? Know that God loves you, and if you have not done so, sincerely admit that you are a sinner; believe that Jesus is the virgin born, sinless Son of God who died for the sins of the world, was buried and raised from the dead; ask Him to forgive your sins, cleanse you, come into your heart and be your Saviour; then tell someone that you have done this. The article will be posted the Sunday before Tuesday November 3, Election Day in America. But Christians –true, born again believers in Jesus Christ—should pray and think on this crucial time spent in the voting booth. Most who study God’s Word from the pre-trib perspective of prophecy yet future are in near consensus. The many things being witnessed in culture and society, in geopolitics and government, in religion and even in science represent convergence of signals that point to the very end of the Church Age (Age of Grace). In societal and cultural areas there is a break-down of morality that can be viewed as much like the descriptives of Sodom and Gomorrah. –And before that, the descriptives of antediluvian times found in Genesis chapter 6 when violence reigned throughout the earth. We have witnessed the satanically-spawned erosion of education from k through graduate school levels. For example, children at the kindergarten levels are in some cases being read stories by transvestites, promoting that lifestyle. Children in grade school are being taught that one can be the gender they wish to be, not necessarily the one on their birth certificates. High school through upper-level universities teaches that America is at fault in the wrongs that afflict the world. We were, many professors speciously declare, founded upon white supremacy that relied on Biblical biases and prejudices aimed at enslaving the dark races for economic and pleasurable/leisurely pursuits. In geopolitics there is an insane enragement spreading throughout America and the world that calls all back to Babel. Minions, both human and demonic are in the stratospherics of globalist elitism –the high places of Ephesians 6: 12— demanding that one-world government be formed. God must be eliminated as the Lord Accuses in Psalms chapter 2. They want to break Heaven’s bands asunder, so that the new world order rulers can construct their Utopian dream-world. Nationalism and patriotism to one’s country must be destroyed so that a Marxist-type social order can divide the wealth and distribute it to the have-nots so the elitists can establish and maintain the power bases they demand. In religion, we have endured the breakdown of fundamentalist, evangelical churches who have given into the political correctness of the times. The preachers and other clergy now, in a growing number of cases, embrace the GLBT and other homosexuality-oriented lifestyles that are demanded be accepted. The Catholic pope just issued his endorsement in a documentary, approving civil union marriages of same-sex couples. The same pope declares that even atheists will eventually make it to Heaven, and that there are many ways to achieve Redemption, not just through Jesus Christ. In science we have seen phenomenal developments in every possible area. Daniel’s prophecy that knowledge would increase at the time of the end (Daniel 12: 4,) has come to be in this time in human history. Like Daniel was told by God’s angel, we are traveling to and fro at phenomenal speeds and to far places even in space. Computer technologies are exploding, with new and faster speeds and to applications that are dazzling to behold. There has developed satellite and computing interconnections that make possible the marks and numbering system of Revelation 13: 16-18. World economics have gotten so out of control, with the explosion of deficits and the proliferation of greed to the point that a reset, according to economists, will certainly have to be put in place to make corrections. That reset, we believe, will be Antichrist’s 666 systems given in Revelation chapter 13. So we have witnessed the stage-setting for the fulfillment of Bible prophecy yet the future comes alive in our time. Rage in our streets, with burning, looting and near-complete anarchy should alert every Christian –that is, those truly born again of the Holy Spirit—that something big is up. Something is about to cleave this world –removing the righteous from the rebellious. This is to remind us of these things as we step into the voting booths of America on November 3, or mail-in ballots, or howsoever we vote. There is one political party that opposes the tearing down of society, culture, and national sovereignty. There is one party, and its president, that opposes the defunding of police and the destruction of law and order. There is one party –and president—that defends the exercise of free speech and religious right to worship. There is another party that has verbally moved to kick God from their platform. That political party, at least a major part of those with influence within that party, are offended by Biblical constraints and restraints. They are speech police, and demand compliance with political correctness that meets their standards, which in many cases are totally counter to those found in God’s Word. These embrace homosexuality, the murder of babies in their mother’s wombs –and even after birth in some instances. They champion dark values that tear families apart. They covet the change of America into a Marxist-type socialism that will, if they have their way, bring this nation into a configuration, not unlike that of the old Soviet Union. For the Christian, the choice is clear when you step into the voting booth, or fill out your ballot at home. Prayer, too, is the duty of everyone who is born again, as this election unfolds. And, yes, the following scripture is meant not just for Israel, but for ALL of God’s people throughout the ages. “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” (2 Chron 7: 14) Either way, this election will be the biggest emotional blow that America has suffered in decades - by Michael Snyder - http://endoftheamericandream.com/archives/either-way-this-election-will-be-the-biggest-emotional-blow-that-america-has-suffered-in-decades In my entire lifetime, I have never seen Americans so emotionally invested in the outcome of a presidential election. Yes, things always get intense as we approach Election Day, but this time around is different. There are many Democrats that do not even want to imagine another four years under Trump. In fact, for many of them it is literally the worst thing that they could possibly imagine ever happening. But for many Republicans, a Trump loss would be equally as devastating. Not since the days of Ronald Reagan have we ever seen Republicans adore a president the way that they love Trump, and a loss would be emotionally crippling for millions of them. With all of that in mind, check out what one shocking new survey just discovered… As if the coronavirus pandemic wasn’t giving Americans enough anxiety already, you may have heard there’s a presidential election this November. With political divisions reaching historical highs, a survey finds a majority of the country believe their most stressful day of 2020 hasn’t even arrived yet. The poll examining mental health reveals 55 percent of Americans think Election Day 2020 will be the most stress-filled day of their lives. There is so much at stake for both sides. Once a winner is officially declared, one side will be jubilant, but the other will instantly plunge into deep despair. As this election has drawn to a close, I have been amazed at the incredible outpouring of support that we have seen for President Trump all over the nation. If you don’t understand what I am talking about, just watch this video, this video and this video. I have never seen anything even close to this, and I have been following politics very closely for decades. In the old days, it was always tough just to get a few people to hold signs on a street corner, and so I was absolutely blown away by a 96 mile show of support for President Trump. It is a very rare politician that can inspire that sort of enthusiasm, but if Trump is not able to win all of that emotion is going to come crashing down like a tsunami. I personally know so many conservatives, patriots and evangelicals that are all-in emotionally for this election, and I am deeply concerned about what will happen if Joe Biden emerges with a victory. It would literally be the deepest emotional blow that conservatives, patriots and evangelicals have experienced since the days of World War II, and we could potentially see millions of them plunge into a very deep state of emotional depression. On the other hand, if Trump wins it will literally seem like the end of the world for many on the left. There are some that have already talked about moving out of the country, but others insist that life simply would not be worth living anywhere as long as Trump is in the White House. I honestly believe that we could see a dramatic spike in attempted suicides following the election, and mental health officials will need to be on high alert. Of course many others will likely take out their frustrations by resorting to violence, and that could lead to an eruption of civil unrest like we have never seen before. As I write this article, businesses in major cities all across the U.S. are boarding up their windows, and law enforcement authorities are preparing for the worst. In fact, Fox News recently reported that officials in New York, Chicago, Miami, Portland, Seattle, Orlando, Minneapolis and Philadelphia have all been making preparations for potential post-election violence. At this hour, most Democrats want to believe that the national polls that show Joe Biden with a huge lead are accurate, but there is no forgetting what happened in 2016. They were so sure that they would win that election, but then a “Trump miracle” in the the northern states of Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin changed everything. And in 2020, the Trump campaign has been working very hard to possibly add Minnesota to that list… Minnesota Democrats estimate that as many as 250,000 white residents who didn’t go to college—the heart of Trump’s base—weren’t registered to vote in 2016. Republicans are taking pains to find them. While Democrats in the state have largely suspended door-to-door campaigning because of the pandemic, Republicans have kept at it. Last week, volunteers knocked on more than 130,000 doors in the state, a campaign official told me. “This is the largest organization that we’ve seen a Republican put into this state, in terms of advertising dollars, principal visits, and staff on the ground,” Ken Martin, the chair of the Minnesota Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party, told me. If Trump is able to pull off another miracle, it will crush Democrats emotionally like no other presidential election we have ever seen. But if Trump is not able to pull off another miracle, it will crush Republicans emotionally like no other presidential election we have ever seen. Either way, this is going to be a devastating emotional blow for tens of millions of Americans, and the emotional fallout will last for years. If you are on the winning side in this election, there will definitely be a temptation to rub it in the faces of those that have lost. But that temptation must be resisted, because that is not the proper response. There are going to be people that you know that are deeply, deeply hurting, and they are going to need love and compassion to get through the grieving process. If we are ever going to be united as a country ever again, we have got to learn to love those that we deeply disagree with. Right now, most Democrats are convinced that Trump is going to lose, and most Republicans are convinced that Trump is going to win. And the truth is that the races in the most critical swing states are very close and this election could still go either way. In the end, one side is in for the emotional letdown of a lifetime, and I don’t know if our country will ever be the same again after this is all over. Do Not Take Your Foot Off The Pedal of Prayer On November 4 – Michael Brown - https://www.prophecynewswatch.com/article.cfm?recent_news_id=4381 All over America, there is a great outpouring of prayer for the nation and for the elections. Believers are gathering together online and in corporate settings, fasting and praying for God's intervention. "We need you, God," they cry out with one voice. "Have mercy on our land! Don't abandon us, Lord! Help, Father!" Even in other countries, believers are fasting and praying for America right now. We stand at a pivotal time in our history, and as America goes, much of the world goes. But the worst thing we could do is stop praying on November 4 (if, in fact, we have a result by then). Desperate prayer will be needed just as much the day after the elections as the day before the elections. Desperate prayer will be needed in the months (and even years) following the elections just as much as in the months (and years) leading up to the elections. Unless, of course, you think that there is a political solution to the many maladies that afflict us. Or that getting (or keeping) the right person in the White House will be some kind of cure all. Or that gaining (or regaining) the Senate or the House will stop the riots and unite the factions and quiet the unrest (and remove COVID too!). Do I believe that one candidate and one party has better policies for the nation? Absolutely. But our problems are too deep for a political solution, and that's why we must continue to pray. When it comes to the elections, I never pray for a specific candidate or party to win. Instead, I cast my vote and then I pray for God's best, not pretending to know the mind of the Lord. He has purposes and plans in mind that are infinitely above ours. He is looking at eternal implications and considering multi-generational outcomes. Perhaps what looks like the worst result in the short term will produce the best result in the long term. That's why I pray for God's will to be done rather than praying for the election of the candidates for whom I vote. This is also what I recommend to others, since, in this way, we can all pray together in unity: "Father, Your will be done!" Otherwise, depending on our differing political convictions, one group will be praying for the election of Candidate A while the other group will be praying for the election of Candidate B. In effect, we will be praying, "Our will be done!" Best to pray for His will, not ours. That being said, it would be a massive strategic mistake to let up in the intensity of our praying once the elections are settled. Think about it for a moment. Although I voted for Trump in 2016 and will vote for him on Tuesday, I must ask myself: Is America more divided today than it was four years ago? Are we in more national upheaval? More shaking? More in danger of tearing apart at the seams? The answers are obvious. So, even with the man many of us voted for in the White House, and even with the many positive things that Trump has done for the nation - and I truly believe there are many - America is a mess. Barring divine intervention, four more years of Trump will only lead to more polarizing and more upheaval, including the deepening radicalization of the left. (Again, I say this as someone who believes Trump is a far better alternative to Biden.) And what if Joe Biden is elected, especially if he keeps his campaign promises and implements the Democratic Platform? The resentment of the right (and even resistance from the right) will only intensify. The pushback against increasing government overreach will be intense, as will be the reaction to the continued loss of our liberties. Either way, no matter who wins the election, the polarizing will increase. The anger will rise. The factions will deepen. And the extremes will become more extreme. That's why we need to keep the pedal to the metal when it comes to desperate, sustained, fervent prayer. Only God can heal our wounds. Daily Jot: Tale of two countries – Bill Wilson – www.dailyjot.com The upcoming election is not just about two men: It’s about two countries—one vision of a country by Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden and another vision of a country by President Donald Trump. As we look toward Tuesday’s election results, there could be no starker contrast between these two visions. Biden’s is one of a socialist America where the government is involved in every part of your daily life. It is a vision that has failed time after time throughout the world. Trump’s is a freedom-oriented vision of America. Quite frankly, it is the only successful form of government that allows individual freedom within rules and laws to prosper and excel. We see time after time the way this works. In fact, Joe Biden is an excellent example. He has used his position in government to establish a worldwide syndicate to unethically, if not illegally, enrich his family and friends. That’s the way socialism works. Those in power, who have duped the voters into believing them, make lots of money at the expense of those they govern. Since they only are in it for themselves, the citizens suffer horrible consequences. Look at Venezuela and Argentina. Look at slave labor in China. Look at the poverty in places like Saudi Arabia. Look at whatever it is in Russia. America is the only place in the world where there is some semblance of true opportunity for everyone. That opportunity will surely be limited, if not eliminated under Joe Biden. Think for a moment what a Joe Biden America might look like in two years. Here is a possible scenario: The Biden-packed Supreme Court uses the 25th Amendment to remove President Biden, swearing in Kamala Harris as president. The nation is in turmoil as North Korea and Iran threaten nuclear strikes. Crime and riots plague the cities and suburbs. There is a massive shift of jobs out of America and into China, further enriching the Biden family. Oil, coal, and fracking industries are outlawed, fuel prices skyrocket. The nation is shut down as COVID fears continue. Record numbers out of work, defaulting on home mortgages. Taxes on the middle class are the highest in history. These things are very possible. Biden can hardly put two words together. The vision of America by President Trump is entirely different. Think about what America could look like in two years under Trump: President Trump and Congress celebrate second year of record economic growth. More people have jobs than ever before. President Trump signs into law free-market healthcare covering pre-existing conditions. Tax reform lowered taxes and stimulated business development and jobs. There is peace across the Middle East. China faces tough sanctions for corrupt practices against America. Crime is at the lowest level in the 21st Century. Yes, it is a tale of two countries. The choice is clear. We will make a Joshua 24:15 choice: “And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom you will serve…but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” Therein is the choice that governs choices. Would you still pray? That very thing happened to Daniel, the prophet. Some people who hated him knew he had a habit of praying openly every day. So they hatched a plot and convinced King Darius to unwittingly sign a decree that, for 40 days, no one could pray to anyone except him. So when it became law, what did Daniel do? Did he go into hiding? Did he conceal his prayers? No, he prayed like he always did, and his enemies reported it to the king. As a result, a troubled King Darius had Daniel arrested and thrown into a den of lions. You probably know the rest of the story. The Lord preserved Daniel and saved him. And in the end, the people who hatched the plot became lunch for the lions. In the New Testament, we have the story of Peter and John, who were arrested and brought before the Sanhedrin. When the religious authorities ordered them to no longer speak or teach in the name of Jesus, they said, “Do you think God wants us to obey you rather than him? We cannot stop telling about everything we have seen and heard” (Acts 4:19–20 NLT). Their examples remind us that we need to stand for what is true. We still have the freedom in America to pray openly. Let’s take advantage of that freedom. We still have the freedom in America to openly proclaim the gospel on the airwaves, in stadiums, on street corners, or wherever we want to. Let’s take full advantage of that freedom. And let’s not, even for a moment, take for granted the great privileges we have here in the United States of America.
