The Last Hours of the Last Days - By Daymond Duck -
https://www.raptureready.com/2019/11/17/last-hours-last-days-daymond-duck/ The world has been in the last days since Peter preached his sermon on the first Pentecost following the ascension of Jesus (Acts 2:17), and current events seem to indicate that it is now down to the last hours of the last days. First, in early Nov. 2019, Pres. Trump notified the UN that the U.S. is withdrawing from the Paris Climate Change agreement. Pres. Trump said the agreement was less about changing the climate and more about redistributing the wealth of the U.S. (In addition to that, in my opinion, Climate Change is also a scam and a scare tactic to bring in a world government). America's withdrawal will go into effect in one year. Second, Qatar gives the PA and Hamas 30 million dollars a month, but Qatar recently told the PA and Hamas that Qatar will probably stop giving them the money at the end of 2019. This will come on top of the massive cuts Pres. Trump has made, and it will increase the pressure on the PA and Hamas to accept the economic benefits of Pres. Trump's "Deal of the Century" and make a peace treaty more likely. Third, Israel's two main parties are in a standoff on creating a new government, but there is one thing that both agree on: Israel should annex the Jordan Valley and declare Israeli sovereignty over it. This will cause the Fig Tree (Israel) to put on leaves (grow; Matt. 24:32). Fourth, Israel will be wealthy in the latter years and latter days (Ezek. 38:11-12). Large deposits of oil and natural gas have been discovered off the coast of Israel. It has taken a while, but Israel has finally started pumping, processing and selling product from one of those large deposits. Pres. Trump has convinced the EU to stop buying their oil and natural gas from Russia and to start buying it from Israel, and that has Vladimir Putin upset. This will hurt Russia financially and make Israel richer. On top of this, an international oil company called Energean recently announced that they had greatly underestimated the amount of oil and natural gas that they have discovered off the coast of Israel. According to a business-oriented newspaper in Israel called Calcalist, Israel's currency is now the strongest currency in the world. Imagine that: Israel has gone from a wasteland in 1948 to the strongest currency in the world (should I add with cattle and goods, silver and gold). Fifth, according to several Scriptures, all of the Jews will return to the Promised Land when Messiah comes (I think this refers to the Second Coming; Matt. 24:21). Several prominent rabbis have signed a document saying that all of the Jews on earth are commanded by Scripture (a mitzvah) to return to the Promised Land. One rabbi said, "It is clear that we are quickly approaching a watershed point in Jewish history when everything concerning the Jewish people will change." I don't know how the Jews will respond, but I suspect that most secular or non-religious Jews will ignore this command, but some religious Jews will take it seriously and soon start making preparations to move to the Promised Land. Sixth, the Jews have already built a railroad, they are now building hotels and restaurants, and they just voted to build a cable car to move 3,000 visitors per hour to the Wailing Wall below the Temple Mount. 3,000 visitors per hour is 30,000 visitors in a 10-hour day, and that doesn't include the visitors that will arrive by vehicles, buses, etc. Opponents will try to stop it, but it is clear that Israel is preparing to accommodate multitudes of visitors to the Temple Mount (and likely to a rebuilt Temple). Seventh, on Sept. 11, 2001, terrorists attacked the World Trade Center Towers in New York. Pres. Bush could have pointed out that Islam divides the world into two parts: The Domain of the Faithful (Muslims) and the Domain of Those that Islam is at War With (all non-Muslims), but Pres. Bush chose to appease Islam, refer to Islam as a religion of peace, etc., because he didn't want to alienate all Muslims. Pres. Obama followed by removing terms like "Islamic terrorists," "jihad," etc., from military training manuals; and he ordered the State Dept., Intelligence agencies and the FBI not to use those terms. Dogs are considered to be unclean animals in Islam; and Pres. Trump said Al-Baghdadi died like a dog, like a coward, whimpering and crying. Instead of trying to appease Islam, Pres. Trump called it like it is. The man that murdered people, raped women, and enslaved women and children died like the unclean animal that he was. It is an understatement to say that Pres. Trump is not the most tactful person on earth, but his language was more truthful than Bush or Obama; and it is important to face up to what some Muslims want to do (establish a global Islamic caliphate). Eighth, Iran is seeking nuclear weapons because Iran wants to establish an Islamic caliphate. Iran has stepped up her enrichment of nuclear materials and could have enough nuclear material to produce a bomb in two to three months (one year at the most). It is important to have someone (even if he lacks tact) in the White House that knows what a dog is when he sees one because Iran calls the U.S. the great Satan, and time is running out on this issue. By the way, it was recently reported that the U.S. and Russia are both building up their forces in Syria. The Battle of Gog and Magog appears to be getting close. Ninth, it is my opinion that world leaders will form ten regions or ten trading blocks of nations and eventually merge them into ten political blocks of nations with a leader over each one that will become the Ten kings, horns, toes, etc. The EU and USMCA are examples of regional trading blocks. A regional group of nations called the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN regional group) has just concluded a treaty with China and five other nations that covers one-third of the trade on earth. Understand that ten kings or ten horns will rise, and then the eleventh or little horn (the Antichrist) will rise. God can speed this up or slow it down as he sees fit. Prophecy Plus Ministries, Inc. Daymond & Rachel Duck [email protected] Is Iran losing the Middle East? - Maya Carlin - https://www.jpost.com/Opinion/Is-Iran-losing-the-Middle-East-608152 Hezbollah is certainly the Islamic Republic of Iran's most successful export. Could uprisings in Iraq and Lebanon, coupled with US sanctions, permanently impair Iran's influence in the region? In the past few weeks, frustrated and fed-up demonstrators have taken to the streets of Lebanon and Iraq to voice grievances against their governments. The perception of Iranian infiltration and influence certainly continues to impact this political shake-up in both regions. These protests have toppled two governments in just three days. Saad Hariri, Lebanon's prime minister, announced his resignation last week. Iraq's President Barham Salih stated that Prime Minister Adil Abdul-Mahdi had also agreed to resign from office once a successor is decided upon. In both Iraq and Lebanon, political factions are divided by religions and sects. These government systems are designed to limit sectarian conflicts by ensuring a sharing of power to different communities. However, in both regions, prominent Shia parties are conjoined with Iran. Since protesters are demanding an end to their government's power-sharing system, Tehran is in trouble. Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei announced via Twitter on Thursday that, "The people [protesters] have justifiable demands, but they should know their demands can only be fulfilled within the legal structure and framework of their country. When the legal structure is disrupted in a country, no action can be carried out." This statement, riddled with irony, completely discounts the revolution which birthed the government Khamenei currently leads. The ayatollah also verified how deeply entrenched Hezbollah has become in Lebanon's political makeup. Hezbollah is certainly the Islamic Republic of Iran's most successful export. For over two decades, Tehran has played the role of puppet-master in Beirut, attempting to counter the influence of its enemies: the US, Israel and Saudi Arabia. Hezbollah's critical influence in the region was demonstrated during the 2006 war with Israel and with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps' (IRGC) intervention in the Syrian conflict. Although Hezbollah's military wing was rightfully designated as a terrorist organization in April by US President Donald Trump, the organization's military and political wings work in tandem to export the regime's disturbing agenda. In 2017, the US State Department identified more than 250 operatives and 150 companies with Hezbollah ties. Last year, the details of Project Cassandra exposed the sophistication and breadth of Hezbollah's billion-dollar criminal enterprise. Since Tehran heavily invests in Hezbollah's role globally, these protests do not bode well for the regime. Iranian leadership clearly grasps the magnitude of these demonstrations since its officials have attempted to paint them as manifestations of foreign meddling. Khamenei has accused "US and Western intelligence services, with the financial backing of evil countries," of orchestrating these protests. In Iraq, anti-Iran sentiment has monopolized the demonstrations. Last week in Baghdad, protesters were pictured torching an Iranian flag. On Sunday, they threw gasoline bombs at the Iranian Consulate in the country's capital of Karbala. The former head of the Iraqi National Archives explained that, "the revolution is not anti-American, it is anti-Iran; it is anti-religion - anti-political religion, not religion as such." Pro-Iranian paramilitary forces have violently intervened in recent demonstrations. Since October 1, the Iraqi High Commission for Human Rights reports that 301 protesters have been killed, and thousands more injured. As Tehran continues to dismiss these protests as inauthentic and foreign-led, demonstrators will only gain more momentum. While Iran grapples with the economic consequences of Trump's maximum-pressure campaign, it may not be able to survive the coupled onslaught of these protests. Israel Watch: Propaganda from Gaza - Jim Fletcher - [email protected] It's interesting, watching even "conservative" news sources spin what's coming out of Gaza. "Thuh" story will always be that Arab terrorists, ruling from Gaza after the Israeli pullout in 2005, are attempting to murder Israelis by firing hundreds of rockets. We live in a fallen world, and one of the outcomes of the actions of Gaza's Murder, Inc. is the deaths of Arabs, as well. Israel has no choice but to retaliate. The killers in Gaza know this and continue to use human shields, inviting violence from the Israelis. We already know that much of world leadership hates Israel and Jews. Media hate them. So the Gazan crime bosses use that. They help the CNNs of the world craft a story that says Israel is committing war crimes if civilians die. About 350 rockets have been fired; the Iron Dome has stopped 90 percent of them, with about 60 percent falling in open areas. What is somewhat different here is that Islamic Jihad is firing the rockets, not Hamas. Although the arch terror group has said it can get involved. Why not? The world will stand by as Jews are in harm's way. Now, we hear that a certain number of Palestinians were killed. Media (and sadly, not a small number of "evangelical" leaders) claim these were 21 innocents. That is the perception. But according to the Meir Amit Terrorism and Intelligence Information Center: "On November 13, 2019, the Palestinian ministry of health in the Gaza Strip reported 21 fatalities. An initial and partial examination conducted by the Intelligence and Terrorism Information Center of the names of ten of the Palestinians killed found that six were operatives of the PIJ's military wing; three were operatives of the al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades/Nidal al-Amoudi Brigade (an organization that splintered from Fatah and is apparently participating in the rocket fire at Israel); and one was a Fatah operative." Huh. You mean that the real story is that a good number of those killed in Gaza are actually themselves murderers? Rachel Maddow and Chris Matthews and Shane Claiborne won't tell you that. They want you to think that the IDF literally targets sixth-graders. Mediation efforts by Egypt and the comically ineffectual UN envoy Nikolay Mladenov are going nowhere. Islamic Jihad and Hamas know they have political cover. Media cover. Religious cover. And here is a very interesting report from my friend Dexter Van Zile, with CAMERA (from March): "Since when did Fox News start carrying water for terror groups in the Gaza Strip? "It's a strange question that must be asked in light of the short segment broadcast by the network on March 5, 2019. In the segment, Fox News correspondent Trey Yingst relays warnings from unnamed security analysts that a war could soon break out between Israel and 'factions' in Gaza Strip. The narrative that he offers to explain why war might happen places all the blame for the potential conflict on Israel. "Yingst covers the story as if the 'factions' in question - Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad - bear no responsibility for the tensions along the boundary between Israel and the Gaza Strip. "He does this in a number of ways. "First, he reports that, 'Each week, thousands of Palestinians gather at the Israel-Gaza border to protest the Israeli blockade of the Gaza Strip,' and that Israel has responded to these 'protests' with 'tear gas and live ammunition.' The way Yingst reports the story, it sounds and looks like Israel is arbitrarily gunning down peace protesters who pose no threat to Israeli security. "Yingst fails to report that these protesters don't just 'protest' the blockade, but have sought to break through the security barrier between Israel and the Gaza Strip. He also fails to note that Hamas leaders have called on participants to invade Israel and murder civilians who live nearby." Dexter ends the piece with an intriguing question: "Why is Yingst assisting in Hamas's efforts to deceive the world about the purposes of the March of Return? And why is Fox News letting him?" Why, indeed? Should We Believe in a Thousand-Year Prophetic Day? - Gary Stearman - www.prophecywatchers.com Christians often divide history into thousand-year packages. At the turn of the 20th century, many Bible-believing Christians had begun to observe a series of historical epochs, each of which was about a thousand years in length. The period from about 4000 B.C. to 3000 B.C., were called the years of Adam. From 3000 B.C. to 2000 B.C. were the "days of Noah," as Peter called them. From 2000 B.C. to 1000 B.C. were the days of Abraham through Moses, and the giving of the Law. From 1000 B.C. to A.D. 1 were the years of David and the Kingdom through the birth of Christ. At that point, four thousand years were complete. Then came Christ's crucifixion and His resurrection in about 32 A.D., which marked another period - the "Church Age." Its first thousand years came to be called the "Dark Ages." Its second thousand years culminated in a series of global missionary movements and "great awakenings." At present, we're marking the passing days of the second millennium of the Church, or roughly six thousand years since Adam. Christians have traditionally believed in a thousand-year reign of Christ that opens with a period of judgment called the Tribulation. The end of this period would mark the termination of the seventh millennium, and final judgment. These seven thousand years have been called, "The Great Week of Human History." At present, we're coming very close to the end of the second millennium of the Church. Will he return within a very few years? Counting from that first Pentecost, it will reach the end of the second millennium about 2032 A.D. What then? "3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, 4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation" (II Pet. 3:3,4). Peter is writing about the Age of the Church, as it comes toward its closing years. After nearly two thousand years of exposure to Christianity, the scoffers are all around us. In this context, Peter continues: "8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up" (II Pet. 3:8-10). Using Peter's own metaphor, it's been about two days since Christ's departure. The Old Testament prophet Hosea uniquely describes Christ's first and second comings; first to be crucified and remove the twelve tribes from their land, then to come back and restore them. He addresses the following words to Israel, which has been suffering now for about two thousand years: "14 For I will be unto Ephraim as a lion, and as a young lion to the house of Judah: I, even I, will tear and go away; I will take away, and none shall rescue him. 15 I will go and return to my place, till they acknowledge their offence, and seek my face: in their affliction they will seek me early. 6:1 Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up. 2 After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight" (Hos. 5:14 - 6:2). We're almost at the end of the second day, and rapidly approaching the third. Keep watching! From This Day On I Will Bless You - By Jack Kelley - https://gracethrufaith.com/topical-studies/spiritual-life/from-this-day-on-i-will-bless-you/ Seek His Kingdom On the twenty-fourth day of the ninth month, in the second year of Darius, the word of the LORD came to the prophet Haggai: "This is what the LORD Almighty says: 'Ask the priests what the law says: If a person carries consecrated meat in the fold of his garment, and that fold touches some bread or stew, some wine, oil or other food, does it become consecrated?' " The priests answered, "No." Then Haggai said, "If a person defiled by contact with a dead body touches one of these things, does it become defiled?" "Yes," the priests replied, "it becomes defiled." Then Haggai said, " 'So it is with this people and this nation in my sight,' declares the LORD. 'Whatever they do and whatever they offer there is defiled. Note: Jack wrote this in 2008 during the great recession. While the markets and housing prices have recovered, job losses and rising prices are still with us. And the principles he talks about here are timeless. I'm also comforted by Jack's reminder that as believers, we're not held captive to the fate of our nation like the Israelites were. ~Samantha " 'Now give careful thought to this from this day on -consider how things were before one stone was laid on another in the LORD's temple. When anyone came to a heap of twenty measures, there were only ten. When anyone went to a wine vat to draw fifty measures, there were only twenty. I struck all the work of your hands with blight, mildew and hail, yet you did not turn to me,' declares the LORD. 'From this day on, from this twenty-fourth day of the ninth month, give careful thought to the day when the foundation of the LORD's temple was laid. Give careful thought: Is there yet any seed left in the barn? Until now, the vine and the fig tree, the pomegranate and the olive tree have not borne fruit. " 'From this day on I will bless you.' " (Haggai 2:10-19) After returning from the Babylonian captivity the Jews had faced a lot of resistance in trying to rebuild their Temple. Finally they gave up, wrongly deciding that perhaps it wasn't God's timing. When they did, they faced another kind of trouble as well. They lost the Lord's favor, and from then on no matter how hard they worked they weren't successful. Each time they thought they were getting ahead, they discovered they were actually getting further behind. Even their offerings weren't pleasing to Him. On the day they they turned back to the construction of the Lord's house, this all stopped and He restored their blessings. What was the lesson? He wanted them to put His house first, especially in times of persecution. Financial Disasters The Lord's depletion of their stored up goods is a model of today's losses, first in the decline of the dollar and now in the decline of property values. The dollar has lost much of it's previous value in the world markets, making the foreign made products we buy, or those made of imported materials, more expensive. (Try to find something on your shopping list that doesn't fit into one or the other of those two categories.) In most of the US the average home is still worth less than it was a few years ago. Since most people didn't have a lot of equity in their homes to begin with, that means the average home owner still owes more on his or her property can it can be sold for. Estimated losses for the Real Estate market are counted in billions of dollars. Retired Fed Chairman Alan Greenspan called this situation a "once-in-a-century" financial disaster, and it's impacting financial markets all over the world. Natural Disasters The blight, mildew, and hail of Haggai 2 are models of the natural disasters that are also afflicting us now. As it was with the Israelites, the fruits of our labors are disappearing, and our offerings are not pleasing to the Lord. Things that were external and physical in the Old Testament often become internal and spiritual in the New. In the Old Testament the Temple was a building in Jerusalem, but in the New Testament we are the Temple of God (1 Cor. 3:16) and things aren't national anymore, they're personal. The good news is that as believers we're not held captive to the fate of our nation like the Israelites were. In 2 Chron. 7:14 the Lord promised the Israelites, If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. This was a promise to the Jewish people that if as a nation they would return to their covenant relationship with God he would restore His blessings on the Promised Land. The New Testament application of this promise for the Church can be found in Matt. 6:31-33. So do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. This is a promise to each of us personally. We're not to worry about how we'll get by. We're to seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness and all these things will be given us as well. The Lord's feeding of the multitudes (Matt. 14:13-21, Matt. 15:29-39) was meant to teach us that He is able to provide when we're willing to let Him. The feeding of 5,000 is the only one of His many pre-resurrection miracles that's described in all four gospels, which means that except for the Resurrection it was His most important one. Now that doesn't mean we can sit back like baby birds with our mouths open crying, "Feed me." Paul said that he who will not work shall not eat. (2 Thes. 3:10) But it does mean that we are to put our trust in Him to take care of us regardless of the circumstances, to do the work He gives us no matter what it is, and concentrate on coming closer to Him. Let's Get Personal The time is coming soon when every Christian family in America will either have a personal experience of miraculous survival in the face of financial disaster or will know of one who has. In each case the story will be the same as it was for the Jews of Haggai's day. As soon as they stopped worrying about their own lives and turned back to the business of building the Lord's Temple, His blessings were restored. As soon as we stop worrying about how we're going to survive the potentially difficult days ahead and focus our lives on Him we'll experience the same result. Please don't misunderstand me here. I'm not talking about some external application of legalism. I'm not talking about mindless obedience to rules and commandments while our hearts are in rebellion. I'm talking about an inner reliance on the Lord, about restoring our faith in both His ability and His desire to provide for us. There's no prophecy we can point to for assurance that the Lord will save the United States. Applying Old Testament promises meant for Israel to the US is just another form of replacement theology. This is not a national issue. This is a personal one, and each one of us will determine the outcome for our own lives. The very day that Israel decided to resume building the Lord's House He restored their blessings. This is a part of the prophecy you can claim for yourself. The very day you determine in your heart to place your life in His hands He will begin blessing you. That doesn't necessarily mean we'll all get to keep everything we now have. Some of our possessions are actually the cause of our problems, both because we've over spent to get them and because they've taken our focus off the Lord. Some of them have even enslaved us, and were much more fun in the getting than they are in the having. Many came with ongoing ownership costs like interest or other fees that eat away at our resources. I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full (John 10:10). You will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God (2 Cor. 9:11) The Lord will show you what, if anything, has to go. And don't worry about incurring losses. If He tells you to get rid of something and you obey, then over time He'll restore your losses. How do I know this? Three reasons. One, He wants you to store up treasure in Heaven. (Matt. 6:19-21) Two, He's promised that if you follow His direction you'll be made rich in every way so you can be generous on every occasion (2 Cor. 9:11). You can't do either of these if you're taking huge losses. And Three He promised to repay you for the years the locusts have eaten. (Joel 2:25) That means when you turn back to Him He'll give you joy in return for the misery you've caused yourself. Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you (Luke 6:38). But don't think He'll restore your fortunes just so you can keep all your toys, or get them all back. That's the failure of the so-called prosperity gospel. The Lord's promise is that we'll be made rich so we can be generous, not so we can be irresponsible or selfish. It's in being generous that we store up treasure in Heaven, where no form of property or currency devaluation can do us harm. Generous people are also the happiest people. See how it works? Some will say, "I'm so far in debt even if I started today it would take 10 years to get out." I say, "How much debt will you have in 10 years if you don't start today? The way I see things shaping up, you can either downsize voluntarily and do it the easy way, or you can wait till you're forced to and do it the hard way. Now I know better than anyone that the rapture could come any day now and spare us all these things. But if you're part of the 90% of believers with a secular world view, the longer He waits the more time you'll have to finally start storing up treasure in Heaven, where it will benefit you forever. When you know you're moving to a different city soon, you begin thinking about your new home and what your life will be like there. Take my word for it, you're moving to a different city soon, so you'd better start thinking about it. Remember, our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ (Phil 3:20). I used to pray for more money so I could pay the bills on my outrageous lifestyle. I didn't get it. Now I live on less than 1/3 of what I used to spend and in every sense I'm wealthier than I was. Now I pray for more money so I can give more to His work, and He always sends it. You think maybe there's a lesson in there somewhere? Daily Devotion: Is God Paying Attention? - by Greg Laurie - www.harvest.org The LORD is watching everywhere, keeping his eye on both the evil and the good.-Proverbs 15:3 As the disciples made their way across the Sea of Galilee, a storm arose that was so severe it made them panic. Jesus had sent them ahead while He went to pray on a mountain. He told them to go to the other side, which meant they would get to the other side. It didn't mean they would have smooth sailing, but it did mean they would get to the other side. Even so, they wondered if they were going to survive. They prayed and called out to God. And then we read that Jesus came to them in the fourth watch of the night. What does that mean? Back in those days, a day was divided into four watches. The fourth watch of the night was that time just before dawn. This meant the disciples had been battling that storm for nine long hours. Maybe you're going through a storm right now, a storm that just won't seem to let up. And just about the time it seems to be getting better, it actually gets a little bit worse. You wonder whether God knows what you're going through. Is He paying attention? Is He aware of the hardships that you're dealing with? Yes, He's aware. Even when the disciples were out at sea, even though Jesus wasn't in the boat yet, He was watching. And He was praying. You need to know that God is watching over you. Proverbs 15:3 says, "The Lord is watching everywhere, keeping his eye on both the evil and the good" (NLT). Jesus arrived at what seemed like the last minute. But as someone has said, when you get to the end of yourself, you get to the beginning of God. Are you at the end of yourself right now? The Lord will come through for you. FROM THE HEART
