Saudi Arabia: Masters of Deception - By Geri Ungurean - https://www.raptureready.com/2018/11/25/saudi-arabia-masters-deception-geri-ungurean/
Readers of my articles know that I voted for and continue to support our president. I appreciate his public support of Israel and of PM Netanyahu. I also appreciate what President Trump has done with our economy and putting so many people back to work. That said, I will not ever support his relationship with Saudi Arabia. From the time Trump visited that country and was wined, dined and dazzled by the Saudis, I have not changed what I know to be truth about the "Taqiyya" nation. They are masters of deception. A recent statement regarding Saudi Arabia from President Trump: From whitehouse.gov with my commentary italicized: Statement from President Donald J. Trump on Standing with Saudi Arabia FOREIGN POLICY Issued on: November 20, 2018 America First! The world is a very dangerous place! The country of Iran, as an example, is responsible for a bloody proxy war against Saudi Arabia in Yemen, trying to destabilize Iraq's fragile attempt at democracy, supporting the terror group Hezbollah in Lebanon, propping up dictator Bashar Assad in Syria (who has killed millions of his own citizens), and much more. Likewise, the Iranians have killed many Americans and other innocent people throughout the Middle East. Iran states openly, and with great force, "Death to America!" and "Death to Israel!" Iran is considered "the world's leading sponsor of terror." President Trump, with all due respect, I think that you need to understand the difference between Iran and Saudi Arabia. While Iran is blatant about their hatred of Israel and America (Big Satan and the little Satan), Saudi Arabia keeps their cards close to the chest, giving billions of dollars to America and telling the press that they want to help end Islamist terrorism. Mr. President, while they say words which the world likes to hear, they continue to fund terrorism all over this world. They are building mosques in Europe to accommodate the migrant Muslims while also making sure that the mosques have radical imams in place. On the other hand, Saudi Arabia would gladly withdraw from Yemen if the Iranians would agree to leave. They would immediately provide desperately needed humanitarian assistance. Additionally, Saudi Arabia has agreed to spend billions of dollars in leading the fight against Radical Islamic Terrorism. Don't listen to what they "say" - watch what they "do." After my heavily negotiated trip to Saudi Arabia last year, the Kingdom agreed to spend and invest $450 billion in the United States. This is a record amount of money. It will create hundreds of thousands of jobs, tremendous economic development, and much additional wealth for the United States. Of the $450 billion, $110 billion will be spent on the purchase of military equipment from Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Raytheon and many other great U.S. defense contractors. If we foolishly cancel these contracts, Russia and China would be the enormous beneficiaries - and very happy to acquire all of this newfound business. It would be a wonderful gift to them directly from the United States! A Trojan horse if I've ever seen one! The crime against Jamal Khashoggi was a terrible one, and one that our country does not condone. Indeed, we have taken strong action against those already known to have participated in the murder. After great independent research, we now know many details of this horrible crime. We have already sanctioned 17 Saudis known to have been involved in the murder of Mr. Khashoggi, and the disposal of his body. Oh, but now it has come out that the Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman was the Saudi who called for this brutal murder and dismemberment of Khashoggi. Is this not alarming to us? It should be. But money talks, does it not? Representatives of Saudi Arabia say that Jamal Khashoggi was an "enemy of the state" and a member of the Muslim Brotherhood, but my decision is in no way based on that - this is an unacceptable and horrible crime. King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman vigorously deny any knowledge of the planning or execution of the murder of Mr. Khashoggi. Our intelligence agencies continue to assess all information, but it could very well be that the Crown Prince had knowledge of this tragic event - maybe he did and maybe he didn't! "Maybe he did - maybe he didn't?" That seems like a way to sweep this brutal crime under the carpet. I fear, President Trump, that you will one day see that the Saudi government is EVIL, and I hope that you will understand this truth before these people bring harm to America. That being said, we may never know all of the facts surrounding the murder of Mr. Jamal Khashoggi. In any case, our relationship is with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. They have been a great ally in our very important fight against Iran. The United States intends to remain a steadfast partner of Saudi Arabia to ensure the interests of our country, Israel and all other partners in the region. It is our paramount goal to fully eliminate the threat of terrorism throughout the world! Again, to miss the true intent and the funding of terrorism worldwide by Saudi Arabia is a huge mistake. I understand there are members of Congress who, for political or other reasons, would like to go in a different direction - and they are free to do so. I will consider whatever ideas are presented to me, but only if they are consistent with the absolute security and safety of America. After the United States, Saudi Arabia is the largest oil producing nation in the world. They have worked closely with us and have been very responsive to my requests to keeping oil prices at reasonable levels - so important for the world. As President of the United States I intend to ensure that, in a very dangerous world, America is pursuing its national interests and vigorously contesting countries that wish to do us harm. Very simply it is called America First! Again, it all comes down to money and oil. Brethren, I am not disparaging our president. I simply believe that he does not recognize nor understand the deception and "Taqiyya" (permissible lying to further the cause of Islam) of the Saudi Arabian government. No doubt, many readers will send this Scripture to me: "Sheba, and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all the young lions thereof, shall say unto thee, Art thou come to take a spoil? hast thou gathered thy company to take a prey? to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to take a great spoil?" (Ezekiel 38:13). This Scripture is typical of the Saudis. They conceal themselves from the "action" while funding this same action against Israel without being detected. Again, I am not speaking against our president. I am simply saying that President Trump is looking square into the eyes of a viper snake when he deals with the Saudis. I pray for Trump and his advisors, that they will be shown by the Lord that they are treading on very dangerous turf. Pray for our president and his administration! Shalom b'Yeshua MARANATHA! [email protected] Articles at grandmageri422.me Did Israel-Hamas Ceasefire Strengthen Hamas For Next Round Of Fighting? - By Arieal Ben Solomon - http://www.prophecynewswatch.com/article.cfm?recent_news_id=2760 The ongoing violence perpetrated by the Hamas-ruled Gaza Strip and the recent barrage of rocket fire--more than 450 rockets and mortars in less than 48 hours--pointed at Israel's south had an unintended consequence. In effect, it caused an internal political crisis in Israel, shaking up the government, and both angering and worrying the general public. For that instability, Hamas is claiming victory, even taking credit for it. The terrorist organization achieved three main things by its ongoing attacks: demonstrating that Israel's deterrence in the form of military retribution by the Israel Defense Forces has been weakened, destabilizing Israel's government and gaining a $60 million contribution from Qatar. Hamas also gained a repose in which it can now continue arming itself with more advanced weaponry, preparing itself for the next round. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reached a ceasefire with Hamas, but not without a domestic cost. Israelis were infuriated at the continued onslaught--southern cities, towns and farmland have been plagued by arson fires and nearby Palestinian rioters attempting to breach the Israeli-Gaza border since March--so much so that it prompted Israel's Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman to resign. That action set off a weeklong frenzy that many believed would culminate in the calling of early elections early next year. As usual, Netanyahu used his diplomatic skills to maintain his coalition, even winding up garnering the post of defense minister for himself. A substantial number of Israelis are disappointed with the government's handling of the rocket attacks, saying the response (or lack of one) only encouraged the enemy. Social media was replete with sarcasm on the weakness of Israel's reaction to what could have been much more disastrous if the Iron Dome missile-defense system hadn't been in place, even though that, too, became a target of criticism for not stopping enough of the incoming weaponry. The prime minister would have entered early elections with a weak hand and been attacked from the right, but now that the crisis appears to be over, Netanyahu has a full year to work on his image. In Israel, a year is a long time--much can happen, including the fading of the voters' memories. 'Israel has stopped winning' One person who tried to jump on the demoralizing bandwagon was Jewish Home Party head and Education Minister Naftali Bennet, who attempted to ride the populist wave of frustration by attacking Netanyahu from the right and demanding the defense portfolio to fix the army's deficiencies. "For quite a few years now, including over the last decade of the governments headed by Netanyahu, Israel has stopped winning," said Bennet. "We restrain and restrain our troops, and our soldiers are now more afraid of the military advocate general than of [Hamas military leader] Yahya Sinwar." Bennet's use of the word "win" echoes U.S. President Donald Trump's effective use of the word in his 2016 presidential campaign, seeking to rile up Israeli nationalism that could boost his political prospects. Daniel Pipes, a historian and president of the Middle East Forum think tank, told JNS: "I understand that the prime minister is looking at the larger threats in Israel's north and beyond that to Iran, and I respect that." "But timid Israeli actions prolong Palestinian rejectionism, and Hamas having plausibly declared victory makes it stronger," argued Pipes. "A Palestinian defeat--an end of conflict--is now more remote," he added. Israeli defense establishment largely backs Netanyahu's gambit Still, many of Israel's defense establishment and experts backed Netanyahu's play to calm the storm and don't see a loss in deterrence since Israel remains much more powerful. Col. (ret.) Dr. Eran Lerman, former deputy director of the National Security Council and currently the vice president of the Jerusalem Institute for Strategic Studies, said "the declarations that Hamas won may lead Hamas to the very wrong conclusion that we are weak and irresolute." Looking at how Israeli social networks reacted to Lieberman's resignation, "you could easily come to the same conclusion," said Lerman. "This can indeed have dangerous consequences unless we take preemptive actions to make the public realize that the next round may look quite different," continued Lerman. "The IDF's ability to hit targets without a massive loss of life should be read as a sign of highly developed capability, not of timidity." The issue could resurface at any time of Hamas's choosing. If its leaders revert to violence at the border, such as setting fire to fields in Israel or launching sporadic rockets, they might take the chance that Israel would be reluctant to respond strongly against them, holding back like this most recent instance. In the future, Hamas could use what it learned in this round of fighting to its advantage, thinking that Israel seems reluctant to go to war right now. It may test those limits, seeing how far it could go to create internal Israeli tensions without provoking an all-out military clash. Approaching Our Ultimate Destination - By Daymond Duck - https://www.raptureready.com/2018/11/25/approaching-ultimate-destination-daymond-duck/ Christians often hear people say, "I don't know when the Rapture is, but I know that it is one day closer today than it was yesterday." Christians are strangers and pilgrims on earth (Heb. 11:13). This world is not our home and we are constantly approaching our ultimate destination. Several events that happened this week seemed to speak loud and clear on this issue. First, it has been reported that one-third of the Bishops in the Roman Catholic Church are covering up for pedophile priests, and the Vatican has barred the U.S. Conference of Catholics from acting to confront it. It would be difficult to come up with a greater example of spiritual harlotry in the Roman Catholic Church than Bishops that sexually abuse children and a Pope that won't let the Church confront it. Some might say this is anti-Catholic rhetoric, but it has been reported that multitudes of Catholics disagree with what their leaders are doing, and these people are leaving the church in droves. Second, in his first sermon to the Church, Peter said there will be blood, fire and smoke on earth before the Tribulation Period arrives (Acts 2:19-20); and the smoke from about 250,000 acres and more than 10,000 houses (more than 14,000 structures) burning in California has prompted officials to urge citizens to stay indoors and wear protective face masks. The deadliest wildfires in California history have reduced Paradise to rubble and caused San Francisco and Oakland to have the worst air quality in the world. Third, Israel recently asked France to deliver a final warning to Lebanon: Shut down Hezbollah's missile factories in Lebanon or Israel will attack them. Fourth, on Nov. 12-13, 2018, Hamas fired about 460 rockets and mortars into Israel that sent more than 100 Israelis to the hospital for minor wounds and shock. Prime Min. Netanyahu had the power to crush Hamas, but he believed that Hamas was trying to lure him into an all-out war that could turn into the Battle of Gog and Magog. He believed crushing Hamas would derail Israel's growing friendship with the Arab nations, derail Israel's joint ventures with the Arabs against Iran, and doom Pres. Trump's peace proposal. That is why he agreed to a ceasefire that almost brought his government down. Israel's Defense Minister, Avigdor Liberman, resigned when he learned about the ceasefire; and Israel's Education Minister, Naftali Bennett, threatened to resign if he wasn't selected to replace Mr. Liberman as Defense Minister. Israel's military opposed Mr. Bennett's elevation to Defense Minister, and the only way Prime Min. Netanyahu could keep Mr. Bennett from resigning and toppling the Netanyahu government was by agreeing that the Israeli military will act more aggressively against terrorism in the future. Understand that Mr. Netanyahu has no control over when the Battle of Gog and Magog will start. God is in control, and it will start when God drags Gog and his armies onto the mountains of Israel, not one day before and not one day after (Ezek. 38:4). But think about it. If Prime Min. Netanyahu had sent the IDF into Gaza, Gog's army might be marching toward Israel as you are reading this, and that would be a definite sign that the latter years, latter days and perhaps latter hours have arrived. Anyway, Mr. Netanyahu now holds two positions in Israel: Prime Minister and Defense Minister, and Mr. Netanyahu has promised to respond more harshly to terrorist attacks in the future. Incidentally, the highly respected Jewish rabbi, Pinchas Winston, former Chief Rabbi of the IDF, said the conflict with Hamas could trigger the war of Gog and Magog, an end of days conflict that precipitates the messianic redemption (a conflict that leads to the coming of Messiah to redeem Israel). Fifth, around Nov. 11, 2018, it was reported that a Swedish manufacturer of implantable chips is holding meetings with large British companies that employ hundreds of thousands of people to convince those companies to require their employees to be chipped. The companies are being told that they can save time and money by eliminating passes, badges, ID cards, door key, time clocks, etc. Some employees of these companies are upset by the fact that they may be required to be chipped and refusing to do so might get them fired. During the Tribulation Period people, will have to choose between taking the Mark of the Beast or being killed. Sixth, on Nov. 11, 2018, Pres. Trump's Middle East Envoy, Jason Greenblatt, said the U.S. wants Pres. Trump's peace proposal to be the final solution to the Middle East conflict; and if the Trump proposal fails, the U.S. won't waste any more time trying to work out an agreement. Seventh, it was reported that the UN is demanding a crackdown on those that oppose globalism (world government). This is a major step toward persecuting and killing those that won't take the Mark of the Beast during the last half of the Tribulation Period. The world is getting darker, but true Christians are approaching their ultimate destination. Prophecy Plus Ministries, Inc. Daymond & Rachel Duck [email protected] ANALYSIS: Why Trump shelved his peace plan for Israel - Yochanan Visser - http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/255145 White House delays release of much-anticipated 'Deal of the Century' Mideast peace plan as PA, Hamas again show unwillingness to compromise. President Donald Trump has reportedly shelved his 'deal of the century' peace plan, at least for now, Palestinian Authority media outlets reported on Thursday. The decision was taken after Ron Dermer, the Israeli ambassador to the United States, reportedly recommended that the White House postpone the publication of the initiative because of the political and security crisis in Israel, according to the Palestinian Authority paper Al-Quds. An unnamed Israeli diplomatic source said Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu "prefers no announcement of the plan whatsoever, especially now, amid the recent developments in the region and the political crisis in Israel." The Trump Administration has been working on the plan for nearly two years and has postponed its publication repeatedly mainly because of fierce Palestinian opposition to the proposal which reportedly envisions a demilitarized Palestinian state. Ayelet Shaked, the Israeli Minister of Justice, reacted to the news by saying Trump was 'wasting his time' by pushing for a peace agreement in Israel at this point in time. "I think, personally, it's a waste of time. I want peace like anyone else, but I don't believe it's possible to reach an agreement," Shaked told participants in a political conference in Jerusalem. The senior Israeli minister also expressed pessimism about the duration of the current ceasefire with Hamas in Gaza. "I think the cease-fire will hold for a few months and then fall apart. If the cease-fire is broken, there will be no option other than fight Hamas with all the means at our disposal, "according to Shaked. Shaked is probably right on both issues. The situation in Gaza is a huge problem and will eventually force Israel to take decisive action against Hamas and Islamic Jihad experts and members of the Israeli government say. As we previously reported Iran was most likely behind the mini-war between Israel and the Palestinian terror organizations in Gaza on Monday and Tuesday last week. This was confirmed by Nickolay Mladenov the UN envoy for the Middle East peace process who said on Thursday that "there are forces who want to put us all into the abyss of a confrontation." Asked about the Iranian influence in Gaza the UN envoy replied, "Since the very first day that the Egyptians first brokered the intra-Palestinian reconciliation agreement in 2017, someone out there has been trying to disrupt it." Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar, a notorious terrorist who spent jail time in Israel, has made no secret about who's really calling the shots in Gaza. In May this year Sinwar told the Lebanese TV station Al-Mayadeen that Hamas had developed very "powerful and warm ties" with Qassem Soleimani the shrewd commander of the Quds Force of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps. Iran was supplying Hamas and Islamic Jihad in Gaza with "large amounts of cash, 'equipment' and expertise," according to the Hamas leader. Sinwar, furthermore, revealed that Hamas and Hezbollah are cooperating on a daily basis and are even conducting "joint operations" against Israel. Hamas is currently experiencing an unprecedented leadership crisis which could lead to an explosion of violence inside the Gaza Strip. A severe dispute between former Hamas leader Ishmail Haniyeh and Sinwar over Hamas' policies has already led to clashes between supporters of the two rivals and to attacks on homes and cars belonging to Hamas officials. Housing Minister Yoav Gallant now calls for the assassination of Sinwar who is considered fanatical in his hatred for Israel. "Sinwar is living on borrowed time. He won't end his life in a retirement home," Gallant said on Thursday. His colleague Gilad Erdan, Israel's Minister for Public Security agreed with Gallant on the issue of targeted assassinations of Hamas leaders and commanders of the terror groups in Gaza and revealed that Israel is "closer than ever to seizing control of the Gaza Strip." This all makes clear that Gaza is not exactly ready for peace negotiations but the same can be said of the Palestinian Authority and the population under its control. PA leader Mahmoud Abbas is again cracking down on Palestinian Arabs who sold real estate property to Jews. His security forces recently arrested an American-Palestinian Arab who was suspected of involvement in the sale of a house in the Old City of Jerusalem to Israeli Jews. Israel has now reportedly threatened to destroy PA offices in Ramallah if the PA doesn't release the man from custody. The IDF later confirmed that it had threatened to send units into Ramallah to free the American Palestinian Arab. Palestinian Authority Imams even prevented the burial of an Arab resident of eastern Jerusalem who was suspected of selling real estate in Jerusalem to Jews. The man, who was killed in a car crash, was subsequently buried in a Jewish cemetery after Aryeh Stern, the chief rabbi of Jerusalem ruled an exception would be made because he said the Arab was a righteous gentile. This all took place before the Shin Beth, Israel's internal security service, announced that Hamas is once again trying to establish itself in Judea and Samaria in order to carry out new severe terror attacks in Israel. There will be no peace between Israel and the Palestinian Arabs, said Islamic reformer and Jihad expert Dr. Tawfik Hamid in May. The conflict is not about a piece of land and can't be solved by approaching it as a 'real estate deal' as Trump previously suggested because it's a Ribat for Allah, a religious war according to Hamid. Daily Jot: Corporate tyranny threatens Constitutional religious freedom - Bill Wilson - www.dailyjot.com The First Amendment to the US Constitution reads: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances." This is the case for the government. What happens, however, when non-governmental open-speech platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc., ban selective free speech in disagreement with corporate political or religious points of view? Is not freedom of speech and of religion then compromised because millions depend on these open platforms to express their views? These privately-owned entities with very public platforms are banning those speaking out about vaccinations, the flawed science of global warming, citing the Koran as the reason Islamists kill Christians and Jews, illegal immigration, homosexuality, and abortion. These platforms are open to free speech so long as you don't disagree with anything the news media, leftists, leftist politicians or certain political parties say. If you do, you are labeled a racist, bigot, homophobe, xenophobe, Islamophobe, misogynist, or some such other slur-especially if you respond with facts. It's their legal right as private companies to allow free speech to insult you, as well as to ban your speech in the public exchange of ideas. As early as 1722, Benjamin Franklin wrote, "Without Freedom of Thought there can be no such Thing as Wisdom; and no such Thing as Public Liberty, without Freedom of Speech." In the midst of the Revolutionary war, General George Washington addressed his troops on March 15, 1783, "If the freedom of speech is taken away then dumb and silent we may be led, like sheep to the slaughter." Thomas Jefferson is quoted as saying, "Single acts of tyranny may be ascribed to the accidental opinion of a day; but a series of oppressions, begun at a distinguished period, and pursued unalterably through every change of ministers, too plainly prove a deliberate, systematical plan of reducing us to slavery." Is this not what techno-billionaires are doing when they ban certain speech on their so-called "open platforms"? When these entities ban selective speech and religious expression, they are practicing an insidious brand of corporate tyranny because millions depend on their open platforms to express themselves. This is how freedom of speech and religion can be usurped without the government doing it. The Founders knew that if government suppressed freedoms of religion and speech that liberty would be no longer, but they may not have considered how multinational companies in agreement, could subject Americans to tyranny. We must vigilant to protect our freedoms of speech and religion. Otherwise our ability is endangered to be an Ephesians 6:19 people, "that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel." Daily Devotion: Use What You Have - By Greg Laurie - www.harvest.org His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue. -2 Peter 1:3 Have you ever been tired of waiting for something to happen, so you thought you would just make it happen on your own? God had promised Jacob that He would give him the birthright, and all Jacob had to do was wait for the promise to be fulfilled. Instead, he took matters into his own hands. Sometimes we're asking God for something He has already given to us. Maybe you're having a hard time in your marriage, so you pray, "Lord, I need more love. I'm not feeling love for my spouse like I used to." You don't need to pray for more love because the Bible tells us, "the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us" (Romans 5:5 NKJV). Stop waiting for your emotions and start doing loving things. Often cited as the definitive chapter on love, 1 Corinthians 13 does not tell us what love is; it tells us what love does. Love is patient. Love is kind. Love is longsuffering. Love doesn't remember the faults of others. It's what love does. So just do loving things. Sometimes we're praying for more power and strength, yet we're told in Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" (NKJV). And 2 Peter 1:3 says, "His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue" (NKJV). It would be like saying you're broke when you have $500,000 in the bank. Why don't you go make a withdrawal? The money is there. You have it. So use it. As believers, our need isn't necessarily to receive something more, but to do something more with what we already have. FROM THE HEART
