The Bible plainly says it is forever settled in Heaven. (Psalm 119: 89) Why would anyone dare to doubt this book? No person can claim to be a Christian who changes, deletes, or adds to the Holy Bible. You will see that in the Scripture below. I absolutely tremble before the Holy Bible, and God promises His wonderful blessings on anyone who trembles at this perfect book. The ten things listed in this article are only part of its perfect message. For God to warn you that your name will be removed from the "Book of Life" is a serious matter. Look at the warning: "And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book." (Revelation 22:19) Remember every Christian is a guardian of the Bible. Sand for it with all of your life. Revelation 22 16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star. 17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely. 18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: 19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. 20 He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. 21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen. Why the Bible is so Important It is the absolute words of God. Matthew 5 18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. 19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven. It is impossible to be lost if you live by the Bible! The theme of the Bible is the Cross and His Blood. I Corinthians 1 18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. 19 For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent. 20 Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? 21 For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe. The world is desperate to know the beautiful truths about our Bible. There is no salvation from sin without this book of truth. The entire population of Hell will be comprised of those who turned their needs and hearts away from the Bible. It is the single road to Heaven. What Are Iran & Hezbollah Planning? - Israel Prepares For Escalation - By Yoni Ben Menachem - http://www.prophecynewswatch.com/article.cfm?recent_news_id=2781 Commentators on the Arab world are watching Israel Defense Forces Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Gadi Eizenkot with interest following media reports that he canceled an important meeting in Germany this week, and the reasons for his cancellation remain obscure. They believe it is connected to developments on the northern border, and not specifically to the situation in Gaza following the renewal of Egyptian contacts with Israel and Hamas to advance the understandings for calm. The Iranian leadership is sure that Israel is weak, and this is the right time to strike against it. At the 32nd International Islamic Unity Conference, which took place in Tehran on Nov. 24, Iranian supreme leader Ali Khamenei made the following statements about Israel: The Zionist enemy crumpled against the Palestinian resistance after only two days. ... All this proves that the Zionist regime is significantly weakened. ... The pace of weakening is increasing. What are Iran and Hezbollah planning? Senior security sources in Israel are suspicious of secret activities by Gen. Qasem Soleimani, leader of the Quds force of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards in Syria and Lebanon, who is planning to inflame the northern sector against Israel in two ways: Deploying Hezbollah and pro-Iranian forces close to the border fence on the Syrian side of the Golan Heights, with the assistance of local (Druze and pro-Iranian) elements, which, in exchange for financial payment, would construct terrorist infrastructure for attacks against Israel. These include laying mines and IEDs, firing anti-tank missiles at IDF patrols, and launching mortar attacks on Israeli communities in the Golan Heights. Gen. Soleimani and Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah prefer this option, instead of the attacks launched from southern Lebanon as it would neutralize Israel's possible counterstrike and the destruction of Lebanon's civilian infrastructure. Opening a new front against Israel from the Syrian Golan Heights would also divide IDF forces among several fronts. Constructing factories inside Lebanon to upgrade the missiles in the possession of Hezbollah to become more accurate and capable of hitting strategic targets deep in Israel more accurately. These targets include Ben-Gurion Airport, the atomic reactor in Dimona, refineries in Haifa and various IDF bases.The working assumption of Hezbollah and Iran is that Israel would not dare to launch a preemptive strike on these factories out of fear that this would lead to an all-out war. Syrian opposition groups left southern Syria in September, and the entire region is now under Syrian army control. In the past, Hezbollah's Nasrallah attempted to open a new front against Israel in the Golan Heights using a local infrastructure. He gave this mission to Samir Kuntar (a Lebanese terrorist who sat in an Israeli prison for nine years) and Jihad Mughniyeh (son of the infamous arch-terrorist Imad Mughniyeh). However, according to foreign news reports, the IDF assassinated both of them in 2015, before they carried out any attacks. The Hezbollah leader has apparently placed this issue at the top of his priorities in order to settle his accounts with Israel. Israel is aware of Nasrallah's intentions, and this was reflected in Chief of Staff Gadi Eizenkot's tour of the border area in the Golan Heights in November, 2018. Israel shares fully with the Trump administration all of its concerns about possible developments on the northern border. Can any scenario be ruled out? The possibility cannot be ruled out that Iran, via Hezbollah, is planning a new war of attrition against Israel from the Golan Heights border at the same time as the war of attrition with Hamas on the southern border through its "Return Marches" campaign. The developments on the northern border are worrying. Israel's freedom of aerial action in Syrian airspace is limited following the incident when a Russian spy plane was brought down by a Syrian air defense system in September, 2018. Russia blames the Israeli air force for the interception. Russia transferred S-300 missile batteries to Syria, and with Russian guidance, these have been integrated gradually into the Syrian air defense system. The possibility that Israel will launch a military preemptive strike on the Hezbollah weapons factories in Lebanon, before they become operational, seems very far off, but not illogical. Iran and Hezbollah constructed these factories after Israel managed methodically and over a period of time to destroy game-changing advanced weaponry being transferred in convoys from Iran to Lebanon. With the weapons' destruction, Iranian Revolutionary Guard commander Gen. Qasem Soleimani decided to construct the weapons factories inside Lebanon to prevent Israeli attacks. We are now in a very tense period regarding security on the southern and northern borders, and with growing Iranian intervention in the region, no possible scenario can be ruled out. The IDF can handle several fronts at the same time. It has done so in the past, and it can also do it again in the future. Israel is determined to protect the security of its citizens. But it may have no other choice other than to carry out actions that may not seem to be rational right now. Is it because people of this generation are witnessing the formation of governmental power spheres precisely configured like those prophesied for the end of the age? Is this the most exciting time to be alive because socioeconomic, technological, and religious conditions seem to be rearranging in the exact order that God's Word predicts they will be as the climax of history approaches? Or are these the most exciting times because the geophysical and astrophysical worlds around us more and more display dynamic upheaval like those prophesied for the apocalypse (awesome displays such as great earthquakes, violent storms, environment-changing volcanoes, devastating floods, and spectacular stellar cataclysms-for example, comets slamming into planets)? Fear can be a powerful stimulus upon the process of generating excitement. Since the indicators strongly suggest that we stand at the very precipice of that horrific period that Jesus called the Great Tribulation, these are fearful signals indeed. Certainly, however, it would be inaccurate to say that it is a privilege to live in times that are exciting based solely on the fearful events we see occurring all around us. To be privileged implies living in conditions that are enjoyable. Fear-engendered excitement produces no enjoyment for rational-thinking people. Steps Leading into the Abyss News accounts coming at us in barrage after barrage from the many media outlets around the world report in large measure the most tragic aspects of the human condition. None are more tragic than instances of violence against children. Nothing that man perpetrates against his fellow man tears at our hearts more than the beastly activities engaged in by child pornographers. A recent account involving child pornography sheds light on this sin-putrified symptom of our times. The report detailed the indictment of sixteen men on charges that they participated in an international Internet pedophilia ring in which members once chatted online while a 10-year-old girl was being molested. According to the report, the men belonged to a club, a "chat room in which users swapped stories about child sex and conspired to produce and exchange sexually explicit images of girls as young as 5." Although we can be thankful that this particular abominable operation was crushed, it was, statistics tell us, only the proverbial tip of the iceberg. The knowledge that even one child is at this very moment being subjected to such horrendous activity is heart-shattering. Yet thousands, perhaps millions, around the world endure this vileness that must regurgitate directly from the mind of Satan himself. Child pornographers exhibit the fact that they are "without natural affection"-one of the major characteristics that Paul the apostle said would mark the end of the age (2 Timothy 3:3). For who with God-given natural affection can look into the beautiful, bright-eyed faces of little ones and conjure up the absolute abomination of child pornography? The Homosexuality-Abortion-Euthanasia Connection How Satan hates God's creation called man! The creature God loved so much that He sent His Son Jesus Christ to die for continues to follow in the devil's footprints, which lead to the abyss. Homosexuality is now termed "gay." The act that God indicts as being an abomination the Satan-controlled minds of men now call bright, happy, and alternate lifestyle. Despite the reality that AIDS and other deadly diseases such as hepatitis are directly attributable to their "gay lifestyle"-thus making it in fact a death-dealing existence-they refuse to cease their life-ending activity. God's Word says that they receive in themselves the recompense of their error which is fitting (Romans 1:27). God, in other words, says that they get what they deserve when they refuse to repent of their abominable activity. Homosexuality cannot procreate, which further attests that Luciferian hatred is behind it. How better to kill off the human creation? Abortion in the United States is a highly profitable business that delivers death on demand. Congress, as of this writing, is considering making legal the French-produced RU486 abortion pill. Reprobate thinking dominates our culture today thinking that calls good evil and evil good, thinking that condones killing for the sake of expediency. As proof that ours is a generation steeped in reprobate thinking-that is, thinking that is convoluted, irrational, and even demented-consider the following. Rational, loving parents would never for a moment think about giving their child a cyanide capsule. Many of these same parents, however, would support legalizing the abortion pill and would themselves take the pills, effectively poisoning their children in the womb. Death on demand is made attractive when it is legitimized and comes nicely merchandised and packaged. Expedience and convenience declare to the reprobate mindset that the unwanted pregnancy equates merely to an upset stomach or a headache that must have a quick fix. Euthanasia raises its Luciferian head during the last days of societal collapse. Whether considering the ancient Babylonians, Greeks, Romans, Mayans, Incas, or Aztecs-or the more recent atrocities inflicted upon those under the Nazi regime-the systematic murdering of sick, disabled, and elderly people marked those cultures in the last stages of their decline and fall. Unwanted people were and continue to be discarded through genocide, such as that currently taking place in China, where girl babies reportedly are drowned by the millions. Satan's hatred for God's creation called man is easily observable in our own time. "Dr. Death" is the nickname given a medical doctor who routinely involves himself in so-called "assisted suicides." The doctor's own words obviously betray his feelings about the sanctity of life and the Creator who gives it. During a luncheon before the National Press Club, [Dr. Jack] Kevorkian defended himself and attacked the religious community, boasting: "Had Christ died in my van, with people around him who loved him, [it] would have been far more dignified." Attempts made to convict him of murder have thus far failed. With each failure of justice comes the desensitizing effects. Ours is a generation quickly becoming anesthetized to the fact that euthanasia is murder. How near we must be to the time when God says, "Enough is enough!" Homosexuality-abortion-euthanasia are inalterably linked to Satan's ravenous desire to destroy human beings. God's Word says that Satan "as a roaring lion who walketh about, seeking whom he may devour" (1 Peter 5:8). These rampant anti-God activities increasingly find acceptance, even among those who call themselves Christians. But homosexuality, abortion, and euthanasia represent a satanically inspired death wish for all people. Individually and collectively, these hellish practices oppose the one and only Lifegiver. The Drug Abyss God's prophetic Word tells us in unequivocal terms about the rebellious, blasphemous generation that will populate planet Earth during the time of the apocalypse, the closing years of this earth age, which Jesus referred to as a period of great tribulation. "Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts" (Revelation 9:21). The word "sorcery" is translated from the Greek word pharmakeia. The approximate equivalent is the English word "pharmacy," which means the art of preparing and dispensing drugs. Drugs will flow through the veins of that end-time generation while those people blaspheme God even though they know His judgment is upon them. The people of apocalypse will refuse to repent and turn from their total immersion in drug addiction and every other imaginable sin even though their very souls hang in the balance. Our evening newscasts are all we need to validate that we are already waist-deep in a cesspool of illicit drugs. Every crime on the books, it seems, can in one way or another be linked to the mind-altering poisons routinely distributed on the streets of every city in America. We have only to recall our last local news broadcast to remember a reporter saying something like "police believe this [shooting, murder, robbery, etc.] was probably drug-related." Gangs with members as young as seven years old willingly become slaves to drugs and the dealers who live luxuriantly on the billions of dollars generated. Governments are demonstrably inadequate to the task of stopping or even curbing drug trafficking. Politicians promise wars on drugs but inevitably prove impotent in fulfilling those promises once the electioneering is over. Earth's atmosphere is unique in ELôHîym's universal grand scheme --- Scripturally speaking on the Sixth Day of Creation the ONE & only God of Israel formed and placed animals for Adam too name in an environment previously unhospitable for life. For good reason Earth's atmosphere is the only known planet capable of sustaining life as we know it. ELôHîym Alone is the giver of life --- NOT some hapless amoeba happenstance activity. Even if evolutionists want to take ELôHîym out of their existence equation - it won't effect God's Eternal Word one Iota. As Paul puts it quoting: Psalm 51:4 - Romans 3:1-4 ~ "What advantage then has the Jew, or what is the profit of circumcision? Much in every way! Chiefly because to them were committed the --- Oracles of God. For what if some did - Not Believe? Will their unbelief make the faithfulness of God without effect? God forbid: yea, let God be True, but every man a liar; as it is written: That you may be Justified in Your Words, and Triumph when Ye Judge." Robert Ripley's - 'Believe IT or NOT' was first franchised in 1918 A.D. as a newspaper cartoon format called 'Champs & Chumps' featuring extraordinary sporting feats. But by 1919 he'd branched out into worldwide bizarre oddities - Ripley hired Norbert Peralroth who'd spend the next 52 years of his life in the New York Public Library, working ten hours a day and six days a week searching unusual facts for Ripley's bizarre worldly oddities. Peanut's Charles Shultz first publication of artwork was published by Ripley. It was a cartoon claiming his dog was a hunting dog who eats pins, tacks, screws, nails and razor blades. Schulz's dog Spike later became the model for Peanuts much beloved - Snoopy character. Like Snoopy's fictional feats - Evolution's Eons Equivocation Fallacy Theory - in the end will be revealed as false, when we shed this tent of flesh. Where God's Word Alone will have Final Authority!!! Believe it or not!!! 1st Peter 1:24-25 ~ "For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away: But the Word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the Word which by the Gospel is preached unto you." If only Norbert would've spent all those thousands of hours studying God's Word he'd found some amazing creatures described therein --- putting Ripley's worldly oddities too shame. Like Isaiah's six-winged Seraphim, or the ôwphânim whom Ezekiel describes as four faced, four winged, full of eyes, wheeled beings: the same looking living creatures named 'Zoon' described in Revelation 4. Ezekiel 1:10 ~ "As for the likeness of their (four) faces: each had the face of a man; each of the four had the face of a lion on the right side, each of the four had the face of an Ox (Heb. Shôwr) on the left side, and each of the four had the face of an eagle." It's interesting YaHWaY --- created Cherubim looking like animals called in the Greek 'Zoon' where we get out English word Zoo. When HE told Job --- Behold Behemoth's behavior: the animal kingdom is irrevocable linked with mankind's dominion. The Dinosaurs definitely died off --- but did Dinosaurs coexist with humans? An biblical debate can be made that death did not enter the world until Adam & Eve first sinned. We see according to the second Account of Creation --- ADAM naming ALL land animals. A distinction is made in ELôHîym's animal kingdom's creation account, generalizing created living land animals with the Hebrew Term --- Chay Nephesh --- translated basically as: 'Beasts with Breath'. But deliberately describing what English translations call livestock, in Hebrew actual is 'Bᵉhêmâh' --- Bᵉhêmâh - Strong's # H929: Be-hay-maw - from an unused root (probably meaning to be mute); properly, a dumb beast; especially any large quadruped or animal (often collective):- beast, cattle. While Young Earth Creationists and Old Earth Creationists may squabbled about whether Noah rode a Diplodocus or an Elephant onto the Ark. What's certain is Earth's Antediluvian Atmosphere was dramatically different. It is acknowledged by all familiar with the fossil record that there was an abrupt change in the climate of the ancient world. At one point in the past millenniums the earth was characterized by a temperate, ideal climate. Tropical plants grew in the Arctic regions; our now-burning deserts had wondrous vast vegetation. As Agnostic scientist, Dr. Robert Jastrow, actually reaffirms the biblical worldwide flood account: "Throughout the long reign of the giant reptiles, the world had known a mild and constant climate; on every continent the eye met gentle landscapes of low relief, with shallow seas and vast areas of swampland and tropical forests. The elements of that world were in perfect balance. The clement, moist weather supported a lush growth of vegetation; where the plant eating dinosaurs fed on the vast vegetation." Many biblical scientific scholars believe that the Flood is the best explanation for the radical change in earth's climate. It is likely that the pre-Flood globe was bathed in a blanket of water vapor that produced an Eden-like environment (cf. Genesis 1:7; 2:6). After the torrential rains dissipated that protective cover, earth's climate changed radically. Additionally, the up-thrust of the "fountains of the deep" (Genesis 7:11), forged mountain ranges and carved deep canyons. Geo-conditions thus were created that facilitated drastic climatic alterations. Circa 2348 B.C. Did Dinosaurs actually coexist with Noah? Job living in the 2nd millennium certainly knew of these prehistoric beasts existence? The actual Hebrew terms for 'Beasts of Burden' vary. Shor is a term for either ox, bull, or cow and most often refers to a single animal. While Bâqâr describes a beeve (beef) or an animal of the Ox/Bovine family collectively called a herd. But Behold Behemoth: YaHWaY told Job --- definitely is NOT any domesticated animal. When ELôHîym described 'Bᵉhêmâh' could HE be describing dinosaurs? Descriptions of dinosaur like creatures are nearly universal throughout the world's ancient civilizations. Where did this global concept originate? How did ancient societies throughout the world similarly describe, record, draw, etch, sew and carve such colossal creatures in such uniformity, if they did not witness these Behemoth's in their relative recent past? Job 40:15-20 ~ "Behold Behemoth (Heb. Bᵉhêmôwth): which I made with thee --- he eateth grass as an Ox (Heb. Bâqâr). See now, his strength is in his hips, and his power is in his stomach muscles. He moveth its tail like a cedar!!! and the sinews of his thighs are tightly knit. His bones are like beams of bronze - His ribs like bars of iron. He is the First of the Ways of God. Only He who made him can bring near His sword. Surely the mountains bring him forth food, where all the beasts (Heb. Chay) of the field play." Strong's #H930 Bᵉhêmôwth: Perhaps an extinct dinosaur. A Diplodocus or Brachiosaurus, exact meaning unknown. The Hebrew word Bᵉhêmôwth is an plural form of the Hebrew Bᵉhêmâh' (found nine times in the Old Testament). The word, which basically means beast, commonly is used in a generic way, in a similar fashion as Chay. In Job 40:15, however, the Behemoth description provided by the inspired writer clearly indicates that a specific animal is in discussion. The plural format is generally regarded as a literary device to intensify size; as T.K. Cheyne suggested meaning - a Colossal Beast. Of course, these Behemoth Colossal Beast accounts are by no means limited to the Bible. The paleontology term Dinosaur actual derives from a Greek expression signifying - terrible lizard. Apparently, the word was first coined about 1841, when an English scientist, Richard Owens, used the term for a newly discovered class of fossils representing a large category of animals that once inhabited the earth. An expedition into Arizona's Painted Desert in autumn of 1924 A.D. was led by Samuel Hubbard, Honorary Curator of Archaeology with the Oakland Museum. The region was wild and scarcely had been visited by white men at the time. The area had been inhabited, however, by the Hava Supai Indians for a very long time. The walls of the Hava Supai Canyon are of red sandstone, yet covered by a thin veneer of oxidized, gray iron-locally known as Desert Varnish. By the use of some sort of sharp writing instruments (e.g., flint), the early Indians could scrape away the exterior coating, thus revealing the bright red sandstone beneath. It was a perfect way to do artwork on a canvas that virtually was imperishable. One of the most startling discoveries was that of a dinosaur pictograph! The carving was photographed, and a cast was made of the indentations. Hubbard suggested that the dinosaur had dimensions similar to those of the ancient Diplodocus, and in his report of the expedition, he published a photograph of the carving, with an artist's rendition of a Diplodocus on the opposite page, for comparison sake. The Hubbard report also contains several additional items that throw the evolutionary geologic supposed timetable into a tailspin. There is the photo of a human moccasin print, complete with stitching, from the so-called Triassic age. And, add to this the fact that not many miles away, near the edge of the Painted Desert, were fossilized dinosaur tracks on a sandy shore of what had once been an ancient sea. Hubbard noted this remarkable conclusion: "Either man goes back in Geologic Time to the Triassic Period, which is millions of years beyond anything yet admitted, or else there were 'left over' dinosaurs which came down into the age of mammals." These carved pictographs of dinosaurs Hubbard wrote: "show every sign of a great antiquity" and "the fact that the animal is upright and balanced on its tail would seem to indicate that the prehistoric artist must have seen it alive." Though, Hubbard remained a devout evolutionists, he could NOT shake the feeling that something was terribly wrong with this supposed Darwinian scenario: Stating: "The fact that some prehistoric man made a pictograph of a dinosaur on the walls of the canyon upsets completely all our theories regarding the antiquity of man. Facts are stubborn and immutable things. If theories do not square with the facts then the theories must change, the facts remain." Facts Indeed are a stubborn thing: Dr. Hubbard recounted - when a photograph of the dinosaur pictograph was sent to a prominent scientist for evaluation, the gentleman's response simply was: "It is not a dinosaur, it is impossible, because we know that dinosaurs were extinct 12 million years before man appeared on earth" It seems with each new fossil discovery, secular scientists simply ignore the facts and tack on another zero in their ridiculous long theory now up to 60 million years when the dinosaurs went extinct. If dinosaurs supposedly went extinct at least 50 million years ago, how did ancient man of the past few thousand years precisely and uniformly depict them? Clearly God told Job He made Behemoth at the same time as thee. "Behold Behemoth (Heb. Bᵉhêmôwth): which I made with thee." Diplodocus length (largest known skelton specimen @ 108 ft.) was taken up by its neck and cedar like tail, and had a unique body construction, with two rows of bones on the underside of its tail to provide extra support and greater mobility. Because of Diplodocus' unusual skeleton, paleontologist Othniel C. Marsh coined its name in 1878, deriving it from the Greek words: 'Diplos' meaning double and 'Dokos' meaning beam. Job 40: 18 "Behemoth's bones are like beams of bronze, His ribs like bars of iron." Job 40:19 ~ "Behemoth being the foremost of God's works, only ELôHîym can contend with." Emphasis mine. The Bible is clear - ALL sea creatures were created by God on Day 5, and ALL land creatures were created by God on Day 6. These would include Behemoth, which would've co-existed with man until they died off for various reasons, including most dramatically, the worldwide flood of Noah. Circa 2348 B.C God's Word is the Final AUTHORITY given unto earthlings and dinosaurs alike --- for good reason did YaHWaY include Creation in the Ten Commandments: the Fourth Commandment states --- Exodus 20:11 ~ "For in Six-Days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and ALL that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it." YaHWaY ELôHîym made ALL --- everything in Six Literal Days --- some Six Thousand years ago. Diplodocus would be included in ALL. Unfortunately, for Evolution's Eons Equivocation Fallacy Ideology, taking ELôHîym out of the existence equation is only an exercise in their unbelief. Leaving their unacknowledged sin unaccounted: Psalm 51:3-5 ~ "For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me. Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be Justified when thou Speakest, and be clear when thou Judgest. Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me." David admittedly knew full well his grievous sin of adultery and murder. Create in me a clean heart, O' God (ELôHîym), and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me away from Your presence. Do-not take Your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, and uphold me by Your generous Spirit. Then I will teach transgressors Your ways, And sinners shall be converted to You." Daily Jot: Discerning the agenda of wealth redistribution - Bill Wilson - www.dailyjot.com According to an analysis of 2014 Census Bureau data, the American taxpayer is footing the bill for non-citizens to live in the US. The Center for Immigration Studies (CIS), an independent, non-partisan, non-profit, research organization, reports 63% of households headed by a non-citizen used at least one welfare program in 2014, compared to 35% of native-headed households. CIS also found in the Census data that compared to native households, non-citizen households have much higher use of food programs (45% vs 21% respectively) and Medicaid (50% vs 23% respectively). Some 31% of non-citizen headed households receive cash welfare. CIS reports, "While most new legal immigrants (green card holders) are barred from most welfare programs, as are illegal immigrants and temporary visitors, these provisions have only a modest impact on non-citizen household use rates because: 1) most legal immigrants have been in the country long enough to qualify; 2) the bar does not apply to all programs, nor does it always apply to non-citizen children; 3) some states provide welfare to new immigrants on their own; and, most importantly, 4) non-citizens (including illegal immigrants) can receive benefits on behalf of their U.S.-born children who are awarded U.S. citizenship and full welfare eligibility at birth." CIS says some 50% of households headed by naturalized immigrants (US citizens) are on welfare. The Census report indicates there are 4.68 million non-citizen households receiving welfare. These statistics may well be much lower than actual non-citizen use of welfare. During the previous Administration, steps were taken to make it more difficult to identify illegal immigrants' use of welfare programs. CIS reports: "However, we do know that about half of non-citizens in Census Bureau data are illegal immigrants, which we would expect to make welfare use for non-citizens in general low, as those in the country without authorization are barred from almost all federal welfare programs...this report shows that welfare use by households headed by illegal immigrants must be significant for the overall rate of welfare use among non-citizens to look as it does in this report." The Bible is very clear about how to handle immigrants. Exodus 22:21 says, "You shall neither vex a stranger, nor oppress him." In context, Exodus 12:49 says, "One law shall be to him that is home-born, and unto the foreigner who sojourns among you." These themes are repeated in Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy. One law for all. If they are here illegally, they have broken the law as their first act. It is illegal for illegals to receive welfare, but millions are on welfare. The same holds true for voting. We have no recourse but to pay our taxes and non-citizens are receiving both the benefits of citizenship and those of wealth redistribution (socialism). Those who oppose this lawlessness, are labeled racists and xenophobes. Can you discern the agenda? Payback is the story our culture likes to see. We've all been hurt by someone. We've all been taken advantage of. We've all been insulted. We've all had people wish us ill. Yet Joseph faced all those things and was able to extend forgiveness. Joseph shows us a better way. In Joseph's story, we learn how to overcome adversity, how to face envy from others, how to resist sexual temptation, and how to lay hold of and have faith in the promises of God. The most significant lesson in the life of Joseph, however, is how to forgive those who have hurt us. There isn't a better example of forgiveness in the Bible than Jesus, but apart from our Lord, Joseph shows forgiveness on an epic level. Joseph was able to say to his brothers who had sold him into slavery years earlier, "You intended to harm me, but God intended it all for good" (Genesis 50:20 NLT). In other words, "It was not you who sent me here but God." The theme of Joseph's life could be summed up in Romans 8:28: "And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them (NLT). Whatever happened in Joseph's life, God used it for His glory. We may not have full resolution on some things until we get to Heaven and God explains it. Or maybe just seeing His face will explain it all. Whatever it is, it ultimately will work together for good.
