The America into which I was born and grew up now seems like a far distant memory. I was only ten at the time of John F. Kennedy’s assassination, but I remember an entire nation engulfed in grief regardless of party affiliation or political ideology. As someone taught to love my country from childhood all the way through my college days at John Brown University, I feel a deep sense of sadness by what I now see happening here in the United States and I suspect that those living in other countries have similar feelings. On the one hand, I believe that God’s tribulation judgments are very close at hand. How much longer will He wait before He intervenes and judges the United States for the daily toll of murder via abortion and the rampant wickedness here on our shores? On the other hand, I often find myself pleading with the Lord for justice to prevail in the final outcome of the U.S. 2020 Presidential Election. I desire to live under a President who will protect our freedoms, particularly those of worship and speech. Donald Trump has a proven track record in this regard, which will surely not be the case with a Joe Biden administration. I have reached the point where I no longer want to hear more stories of how people cheated while counting ballots so Biden would win. How could so many people have acted so treacherously as to steal an election from a sitting United States’ President? Do they not understand the consequences of such evil behavior? I long for a fair and quick resolution to the election drama. Yet . . . I surely know that my ultimate hope lies elsewhere. I dare not forget the myriad of prophetic signs that point to the soon and imminent appearing of Jesus to take all those who belong to Jesus home to heaven. How do I resolve the tension within me between patriotism and my expectation of Jesus’ soon return for His bride, the true church? THE HOLY SPIRIT IS THE RESTRAINER OF 2 THESSALONIANS 2 I believe the Holy Spirit is the one to whom Paul refers to as restraining the appearance of the antichrist (see 2 Thess. 2:3-8). Yes, the Holy Spirit will remain active after our departure; many people will come to Christ during the tribulation. However, in some way the rapture will end His restraining work in regard to the antichrist’s rise to power and domination of the world. As I read articles and watch a video or two about The Great Reset on the World Economic Forum’s (WEF) website, I see the work of Satan and his demons setting up the world for the coming kingdom of the antichrist. I see the beast of Daniel 7 and Revelation 13 forming before right before my eyes. This Communist agenda is also readily apparent in the details of the New Green Deal in America and in the UN’s Agenda 2030. However, as long as the Holy Spirit remains in His current restraining role through New Testament saints, I believe He will continue to hold back the full implementation of the globalists’ demonic agenda for the coming totalitarian world government with the antichrist at the helm. I believe Ephesians 6:12 also speaks to this matter, “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.” This verse tells me that through prayer, we can battle the demonic forces that seek to plunge our world into the horrors of a government that will enslave all those under its jurisdiction. In this sense, we can join forces with the Holy Spirit in resisting Satan’s plans for the world by praying against these “spiritual forces of evil.” With this understanding, I will continue to pray for justice to prevail in the results of the 2020 United States Presidential election. Those behind the great election fraud in American have as their goal the surrender of the United States to The Great Reset (see It’s All About the Moment and Our World Hangs on the Edge of Eternity for the reasons why a Biden presidency would rapidly place America under the umbrella of the WEF). AMERICA DESERVES GOD’S JUDGMENT I also realize America deserves God’s judgment as a result of its great wickedness and that at some future time the United States will find itself under the control of a world government during the seven-year tribulation. In 2012, Billy Graham quoted his wife Ruth as saying, “If God doesn’t punish America, He’ll have to apologize to Sodom and Gomorrah.” The wickedness to which she referred has grown exponentially worse since she spoke those words sometime before her death in 2007. In a previous post, Not Now, I Have My Life to Live, I examine several reasons why America stands at the edge of paying a sorrowful and devastating price for the great wickedness that’s so prevalent here. It’s only a matter of time. However, God’s tribulation wrath will not descend upon America or the world until after all the New Testament saints are safely with Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:9 says, “For God has not destined for wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.” The context specifies that this is “day of the Lord” wrath rather than hell. The story in Genesis 19 foreshadows our future deliverance from this world. This chapter records how the Lord used angels to lead Lot, his wife, and his two daughters out of Sodom before the Lord destroyed the city. God will severely judge the United States along with the world during the tribulation, but not before He sends His Son to fetch His bride and take her home. WHAT DO I VALUE THE MOST? In one of his recent prophecy updates, J.D. Farag asked whether believers in America longed for the rapture or four more years of President Trump? That brought me face to face with the heart of the matter. What do I really value in this matter? What is more important to me? The key here consists of valuing “the things that are unseen” over “the things that are seen” as the apostle Paul wrote about in 2 Corinthians 4:18. One reality, the “unseen,” is “eternal” while the one that so often captures our attention remains “transient;” it’s temporal and fleeting. It’s not that we forget about the things of this life or never plan for our future on the earth, but that we do so recognizing the relative value of the temporary world compared to the exceeding value of eternal glory that will someday surely be ours at Jesus’ appearing (see Rom. 8:18-25). A just outcome to the Presidential Election in the U.S. would definitely be welcome news to my weary soul, but it falls under the category of “transient” aspirations. My imminent departure, on the other hand, ushers me into eternity, which is far, far better than four more short and fleeting years. The reality is that “our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ” (Philippians 3:20). What could possibly be more important than that (I keep asking myself)? So, while patriotism and flying the American flag remains important, my expectations of the Jesus’ appearing trumps my temporal and fleeting aspirations every single time. PRAYING WITH AN ETERNAL AWARENESS As a result of the above considerations, I will remain fervent in prayer for a just outcome to the election with an eternal awareness through which I understand that: 1. I prefer Jesus’ appearing to take me home above all else. I am not saying I feel this way 24/7, but that I always come back to this mindset when despair from current events overwhelms my soul. 2. We live in the last moments of human history as we know it. For now, I pray against the powers that seek plunge the world into the darkness of a New World Order. However, I know that eventually every nation will fall under the umbrella of The Great Reset, including America. 3. I know that Ruth Graham is absolutely correct; God’s punishment is coming to the United States and deservedly so. However, the Lord’s tribulation wrath will not fall on the United States or any other nation until after Christ takes all who belong to Him out of this world. We do not know for sure what lies ahead for us during our time remaining on the earth or even how much more time we have before Jesus appears. We also do not even know the final outcome of the election in America. On some days, the news for President Trump seems rather hopeful, on other days not so much. What we do know is that the tribulation now appears on the horizon like dark ominous clouds before a powerful and destructive storm arrives on our street. Even so, we rest in the assurance that Jesus is coming for us before the one the Bible calls the “man of lawlessness” rises to power and begins his deadly reign of terror over those that dwell on the earth. So, I will continue to pray passionately for the best outcome for my country and its citizens in full awareness that by far the best future outcome for believers like me is Jesus’ appearing, which will usher us into His presence with immortal and imperishable bodies. This, after all, is the “blessed hope” of the Gospel into which Jesus has saved all those who know Him as their precious Savior (Romans 8:23-25; Titus 2:11-14). There is, I sense, much yet to be discovered, uncovered, and, perhaps recovered, before the final period—perhaps I should say “exclamation point”—marks its finality. At the center of this end-of-the-age demarcation—this evil-saturated presidential election—stands Heaven’s most powerful force. This holy entity of might is unseen, but it’s not without resounding energy and impact. The power within its long-ago prophesied influence for just this critical hour is on the very brink of revealing God to a wicked, wicked world, I believe. We have witnessed earth’s powers and principalities in government, military bastions, and media enclaves as they have coalesced to form, perhaps, the most powerful anti-God movement in the history of man. At the same time, Heaven’s force has quietly swatted away every attempt to bring in Satan’s Antichrist regime. The evil has been, as I’ve said, almost tangible throughout every news cycle over the past four or five years. The defense against the evil hasn’t been overtly manifest, for the most part. All of this end-of-the-age spiritual warfare, straight out of Ephesians 6:12, has seemed to be fought particularly in America. The moment Donald J. Trump was made his political party’s nominee, the battle roared to life in ways not seen in my lifetime. The satanic minions were knocked off balance, losing equilibrium—and all sanity—from that moment. They are scrambling more frantically than ever to regain lost time in the globalist onslaught they began following World War II with the establishment of the United Nations. Still, as the battle rages, the force that resists is largely hidden, spiritually speaking. But it is there, and it is a pent-up force that I sense is about to be unleashed in ways those of us within whom it resides can’t fully fathom. To many believers, it seems that God is silent, while the minions of the powers-and-principalities coalition apparently have gotten away with fraud of the first order. Mainstream news media and all other media outlets dominated by the “prince of the power of the air” proclaim at every opportunity that Mr. Biden is president-elect—even though it is the electors of the states, not any news sources, that are given the constitutional authority to declare who is president. And, ultimately, it isn’t even these electors who have that power. They are but players on the stage of history—as we all are. It is the God of Heaven who determines who will be president. He raises up kings and those in authority, and He removes them, the Scripture tells us. His, alone, is the true power that determines the future. All this, and at the same time He allows free will. It is a concept beyond the finite mind’s ability to comprehend. In other words, we cannot understand how He can at the same time allow free will, yet control everything absolutely. This is all wrapped up, of course, in His omnipotence—His all-powerful, hands-on governance of His created universe. It’s part of His omniscience, too—His all-consuming knowledge from eternity past into eternity future. There is nothing that takes Him by surprise and nothing that He doesn’t ultimately control. So while it might seem that resistance to evil is on the decline and that the minions of evil are charging to victory in this election and in every other facet of life upon this fallen sphere, the opposite is true. As my good friend, Jan Markell, one of the most listened-to program hosts in Christian radio, says: “Things aren’t falling apart; they are falling together”—i.e., things laid out in God’s prophetic foreknowledge are coming to fruition exactly as the He says, and at a blistering pace. The very fact that all of the cheating and fraud taking place in Election 2020 haven’t yet secured victory for those perpetrators means, to us who observe closely, that God and His restraining hand is still at work as powerfully as ever. That power is fueled in a mighty way by the prayers of His saints, who are indwelt by God the Holy Spirit. So, whatsoever the outcome of this election, God’s will is being done, and His victory—thus ours—is absolutely assured. “Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us” (Romans 8:37). Hundreds of very sick people in the city of Eluru have been brought to the hospital, and at least one victim has already died. Unlike COVID-19, this illness seems to be hitting children particularly hard. Some of them “started vomiting after complaining of burning eyes”, and quite a few victims have been gripped by seizures and have been “frothing at the mouth”. Whatever this is, it seems pretty serious. But before I go any further, I want to make it very clear that I believe that it is very important that we don’t jump to any conclusions. Very few disease outbreaks end up developing into global pandemics. In November, a mystery disease that caused very ugly sores on the skin was reported in Senegal, and we were being told that more than 700 fishermen had been affected. But since that time that outbreak appears to have fizzled out. I have been searching for an official explanation for what happened to those fishermen, but so far I have not been able to find one. This new outbreak in India could also fizzle out very rapidly. We just don’t know. But whenever a new disease comes along that the medical establishment cannot identify, it is worth watching. I believe that we have entered a period of time when global pestilences will become a lot more common, and so any story like this will immediately grab my attention. Initially, we were told that approximately 300 people had been affected by this new mystery disease. The following comes from CNN… An unidentified illness has hospitalized more than 300 people in southeastern India, including one who has died, according to local officials investigating the cases. Patients in the city of Eluru, in the state of Andhra Pradesh, reported a range of symptoms including seizures, loss of consciousness and some nausea over the weekend, said Dolla Joshi Roy, the district surveillance officer of Eluru’s West Godavari District. Subsequently, the number of victims that required hospitalization was increased to 450… Officials in India are working to identify an illness that has hospitalized 450 people with symptoms ranging from nausea and anxiety to loss of consciousness. At least one person, a 45-year-old man, has died because of the illness in Eluru, a town in the southern Indian state of Andhra Pradesh, the Press Institute of India reported. Once someone is affected by this mystery illness, things seem to progress rather rapidly. As I noted above, a number of the victims said their eyes felt like they were “burning” before they began vomiting… “The people who fell sick, especially the children, suddenly started vomiting after complaining of burning eyes,” a medical officer at Eluru Government Hospital told The Indian Express. “Some of them fainted or suffered bouts of seizures. Some were in critical condition when they were brought in on Saturday, but now all of them are safe.” Other symptoms include anxiety, nausea, and loss of consciousness, according to AP News. So far, one 45-year-old man was admitted to the Government General Hospital in Eluru with seizures and narcolepsy and has since died on Sunday evening, the only reported death related to the illness. In addition, there are reports that some of the victims were “frothing at their mouths”… The affected persons were developing fits and frothing at their mouths and collapsing. A 70-year-old woman collapsed while cooking while a 12-year-old girl developed fits during a visit to a temple. The good news is that so far there has only been one death and a lot of the victims have improved so much that they have already been released from the hospital. But the bad news is that authorities have been completely unable to determine what is causing this disease. Since India is having such a problem with COVID, all of the patients were immediately tested for the virus and all of the tests came back negative. So this new mystery disease does not appear to be related to the COVID pandemic at all. Water pollution was also suspected as a potential cause, but so far all of the water samples that have been tested haven’t revealed anything out of the ordinary… “We ruled out water contamination or air pollution as the cause after officials visited the areas where people fell sick. Water samples were sent for testing and no contamination was found. Blood samples of the patients have been sent to labs. No viral infection has been detected,” Srinivas told The Indian Express. “It is some mystery illness and only lab analysis will reveal what it is.” Hopefully there is some sort of really simple explanation and we won’t even be talking about this a week from now. Having said that, we should definitely be on the alert for more disease outbreaks around the globe. There have been killer pandemics all throughout human history, and scientists assure us that there will be more killer pandemics in our future. In our time, the threat of pandemics is greater than ever, because on top of the threat of naturally occurring pandemics we also are facing the threat of man-made pandemics. Thanks to our advanced technology, it has become so incredibly easy to tinker around with extremely deadly bugs, and a great plague could literally be released at any moment anywhere in the world. My hope is that the outbreak of this new mystery disease in India does not develop into something larger, and so far it does not fit the profile of the sort of future pandemic that I warned about in my new book. But that does not necessarily mean that we can relax. Nobody saw the Black Death coming in the Middle Ages, but it ultimately wiped out approximately 25 million people. Nobody saw the Spanish Flu pandemic coming either, and that killed at least 50 million people. It is just a matter of time before the next great killer pandemic comes along, and we may be closer to that day than most people would dare to imagine. Isaiah 30:26 (The Israel BibleTM) China recently turned on a huge nuclear fusion device patterned after the process that takes place inside the sun. The device generates ten times the heat of the sun and the scientists hope to double that within the next few years. FUSION: THE OPPOSITE OF NUCLEAR FISSION BUT MORE On Friday, China powered up the HL-2M tokamak, a huge device that uses a powerful magnetic field to confine hot plasma in the shape of a torus in the hopes of generating power using nuclear fusion. “Tokamak” is a shortening of the Russian term for “toroidal magnetic confinement.” “The development of nuclear fusion energy is not only a way to solve China’s strategic energy needs, but also has great significance for the future sustainable development of China’s energy and national economy,” said the People’s Daily. Fusion fuses atomic nuclei to create massive amounts of energy, the opposite of the fission process used in atomic weapons and nuclear power plants, which splits them into fragments. Fusion does not create radioactive waste and carries less risk of accidents or the theft of atomic material. The fusion process requires vast amounts of energy and no fusion reactor has achieved net-positive energy but the scientists believe that the process will begin to produce energy at higher temperatures. Using a powerful magnetic field to fuse hot plasma, the apparatus is able to operate at 270 million Fahrenheit, a temperature 10 times hotter than the sun which produces energy using hydrogen and deuterium gases as fuels, a process called stellar nucleosynthesis. Yang Qingwei, chief engineer of CNNC’s Institute of Fusion Science at the Southwest Institute of Physics which oversees the project, was quoted by Xinhua on Friday as saying that HL-2M can achieve magnetic plasma confinement time of up to 10 seconds. “HL-2M is China’s largest artificial sun with the best parameters,” Xu Min, director of the institute, was quoted as saying. The HL-2M tokamak has three times the plasma volume and six times the plasma current intensity compared with China’s previous facility. The HL-2M tokamak has been iterated since 2006 and in 2018, the Experimental Advanced Superconducting Tokamak (EAST) reached a milestone 180 million degrees. In 2019, EAST announced they intended to double that by 202o. The deadline has passed, and that goal has not been achieved but the project is considered a success nonetheless. One of the major obstacles to achieving nuclear fusion is controlling the high-energy plasma which must be maintained at a temperature far greater than any material on earth can contain requiring containment in a magnetic field. China announced plans to build an experimental reactor as early as next year, an industrial prototype by 2035, and go into large-scale commercial use by 2050. SCIENCE DECLARING WAR ON THE CREATOR As scientists strive for greater achievements, the implications of overreach and mistakes become greater. This self-realization of scientific hubris was perhaps best expressed by Robert Oppenheimer, frequently described as the “father of the atomic bomb, upon witnessing the first detonation of a nuclear weapon on July 16, 1945. After seeing first-hand the horrific destructive power of his own work, Oppenheimer quoted the Bhagavad-Gita, a Hindu text, declaring, “ “Now I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds”. Rabbi Yosef Berger warned that such experiments could bring about disastrous results the scientists had not anticipated but which the Biblical prophets had foreseen. The rabbi cited the Prophet Isaiah, who described a light seven times greater than the sun which would appear in the end-of-days with disastrous results. And the light of the moon shall become like the light of the sun, and the light of the sun shall become sevenfold, like the light of the seven days, when Hashem binds up His people’s wounds and heals the injuries it has suffered. Behold Hashem Himself Comes from afar In blazing wrath, With a heavy burden— His lips full of fury, His tongue like devouring fire Isaiah 30:26-27 “They call this science, presenting it as being for the good of mankind, but as we saw with the atomic bomb, they are really setting out to make war against God, to prove that Man is stronger than Creation,” Rabbi Berger said. “This is precisely the sin of the generation that built the Tower of Babel.” “They think that their sun is stronger than the sun of God. But the proof is that their sun cannot work for even one moment but God created the sun and it has stood since creation, providing warmth to all the world. And what powers the sun? Hashem (God; literally, the name). This is something that the scientists are not even close to replicating. Their thinking is entirely wrong. But if they turned to God, worked from a perspective of coming close to the creator, they would achieve so much more.” Rabbi Berger cited Psalms as a source for learning from the actual stars and heavens. The heavens declare the glory of Hashem, the sky proclaims His handiwork. Psalms 19:2 “If the scientists would set their eyes to the heaven rather than trying to be greater than the Creator, they would achieve so much more, and would do so without releasing destruction into the world,” Rabbi Berger concluded. Daily Jot: The media’s ideological censorship – Bill Wilson – www.dailyjot.com A brief analysis of the news media indicates an extraordinary blackout of events that do not support the collective narrative. Report after report on the mainstream outlets treat President Trump’s efforts on election fraud in the most general terms, qualifying their reports using words like “baseless,” “unfounded,” “undocumented,” and “providing no evidence.” If you were unaware of what specifically was occurring in the various states regarding election fraud challenges, you would only know that a president who lost the election was challenging those results with no evidence on which to base the challenges. It is one-sided editorialization of news and, quite frankly, weaponized propaganda. At the very least, news operations should be covering the specific efforts of challenges to the election because it is important to the ongoing success of the American form of representative government. There has been fraud occurring in elections since the beginning of the Republic, but today it has reached critical mass. State officials changed election laws without the consent of the legislators who made those laws, and in violation of the respective state’s constitutions. Voter rolls are outdated and contain huge numbers of deceased and illegal voters. Computerized voting is not proven to be accurate. All these items need to be thoroughly reported to foster reform, but the news media sticks to its story of “nothing to see here.” Many conservative media are trying to inform the public by covering the election fraud challenges. Even so, their reach is a drop in the bucket compared with CNN, or other major outlets. Additionally, the stories they post online are triaged by the corporate media search engines and they do not always appear on initial searches. This is like burying front page news in the lifestyle section of the daily newspaper. For example, Breitbart’s lead story is that Texas has filed a lawsuit at the US Supreme Court challenging that Georgia, Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania violated the Electors Clause of the US Constitution because the states changed election laws by executive action. Other than small news sites that cited the Breitbart story, there is no coverage of this court filing. This could mean that Breitbart was wrong and the filing didn’t happen or that other news outlets just didn’t cover it. Either way, it is an example of the censorship that is occurring. It is not official government censorship, but it is ideological censorship by the very people who are supposed to be reporting the news. In an age where information travels so fast and freely, those who claim to be guardians of truth are choking out truth, leaving the citizenry ignorant and in darkness. The implied promise is that if you give this, or if you receive that, then you’ll be happy. Certainly, there’s a rush of excitement in receiving a very special gift. But for the most part, you probably can’t remember what you got for Christmas last year, even though it seemed so important then. It reminds me of the husband and wife who went Christmas shopping at the mall. The husband wandered off, so his wife called him and asked where he was. “Remember that jewelry store we went to 10 years ago?” the husband asked. “You saw that beautiful diamond necklace, and I said that I couldn’t afford it then, but one day when I had a little more money, I would buy it for you.” “Yes, I remember,” his wife said, trying to catch her breath. “Well, I’m at the donut store next door to it.” Christmas, commercially at least, cannot live up to the promise, to the standards we’ve set in our minds. At best, Christmas is a promise of greater things to come. However, it’s not Christmas that will give us life; it’s Christ. Jesus said, “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly” (John 10:10 NKJV). I have found that the greatest moments of Christmas are not the ones we get psyched about. Rather, it’s those in-between moments. Like the moments when we’re with family—not only our actual flesh-and-blood families but also the family of God. So slow down this season. Enjoy it and take it in. Jesus was born in Bethlehem to bring life in all its fullness.
